as the resident guy who spent nearly 8 years making his own content in a corner and vibing with that only i don't have much sympathy for people who complain about fan content not catering to them when the solution is simply to Make The Content You Want To See
"but samifer," you say, crying on my doorstep because everyone is shipping your blorbo wrong or whatever, "i don't want to make the content. i want to read/look at content made by other people!"
my friend, i will tell you the truth,
number 1: making your own stuff tailored to you specifically is actually the best. i have so much backlog of prfr that's perfectly to my taste, SO MUCH that sometimes i find shit i don't even remember. i am self-sufficient. i will survive any winter. i am the strongest man on earth.
number 2: by making content you like, you will, in fact, attract other people with the same tastes as you. i know because i did ! multiple times ! and right now i'm having the time of my life vibing with someone who's on the same wavelength as me and if we'd just stayed in our corners and never taken the first step (of making content we like) we would have never met each other even tho we were literally like one person away from meeting for Literal Years
"but it's hard. but it takes time. but i can't draw/write/etc." buddy did you see what my prfr art looked like at the beginning. the Passion is what matters. negativity isn't going to attract people you'll vibe with!! but going out of your way to make something you like might... someday... and if the effort doesn't seem worth it you can always just move on to something else. or be like me and accept your newfound identity as a fandom hermit until you accidentally bump into someone else on the one day of the year you've decided to come out of your cave, triggering the weirdest meet-cute ever

do you have any specifics hcs on how good (or bad) la squadra is with tech?
I've been meaning to make a chart like this when I was talking about it months prior but here it is:
(worst)
1. Risotto. I don't know if I quite believe the hc of Metallica messing up frequencies since it didn't mess up anything at that one scene with the engineer, however he is pretty clueless outside of emails and stuff
2. prosciutto can prosciutto lovers get their OLD MAN please... he searches for Google to get on google
3. sorbet PLEASE don't let him on the computer. Gelato get your man rn. if it's not fucking poker games online then he's pretty much nuked the entire machine. he's clueless and he doesn't get it
4. ghiaccio but he's like a threat to the machine itself because if he loses his patience he's gonna punch thr screen or the keyboard
5. pesci, also clueless but the fact that he is a casual user redeems him
6. Gelato. toss up. it's very much ambiguous (just like him because there's NOTHING behind those eyes) what he will do once he's sat down. he could be better if he tried but in general he's not bad
7. formaggio, he is fairly experienced and good but gets over his head and then just messes up ☠️
8. illuso surprisingly, because he and formaggio pirate movies and games and albums all the time LMFAO he's not paying for anything
9. melone obviously, probably the best in LSE

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

what if i decided i'm straight up not posting any new art publicly until that family's GFM in my pinned is at least Halfway to its goal
(even half my followers donating 5 bucks each would do that btw)

I don't know who needs to hear this, but as a creator -
I am fine with "the audience" -
downloading my fics
printing my fics
copy/pasting or screenshotting my fics
sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3
making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss
doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc
I am not fine with "the audience"
doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity
feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever
Save the fandom things. Preserve the fandom things. Respect the fandom things.
Enjoy the fandom things.

I have been working on this piece for AGES aajsdfjkndf AUGH
I just! I just want Wally frog catching with his bestie to exist into the world dang it!!!! The idea of him slowly catching frogs and running straight to Barnaby to show him is one of my favorite things to think about. Now I can beam such an idea into yalls mind with the power of art I spent too much time on

if i was a streamer and someone asked me about my gender identity/sexuality i would just say that i’m queer and that’s all they need to know BUT i would be willing to reveal one (1) label if we hit subgoal by the end of the stream
