         headcanon oo2 ( hidden’s weapon cache ): considering megumi’s abilities, he stores a hidden weapon’s cache in his shadow. for him, it’s easier to use to his advantage since most sorcerer’s are expecting him to go for long-range attack since he has control over his shikigamis. for megumi, he has a few good reasons why he does this. for one, he usually catches his opponent off guard. for two, he likes the idea of using anything he can to his disposal even if he has to use his bare fists as a last resort. lastly, he wants to show that he isn’t just able to rely on his technique alone ( something that is considered quite valuable in his world ). megumi wants to be an all rounder, the type of sorcerer who’s a tempered sword that hasn’t quite made out it’s shape.

     unfortunately, the down side is that he does feel the weight of the weapons he carries. he does have a variety of light weight swords, tonfas, to even a polearm or two. when he first started to utilize this, megumi decided to do some weight training while running that way so he could condition his body to get used to being weighted down. eventually it became something like breathing to him, something that could be in his shadow at all times.

thus, he began to become a person who was proficient in an array of weapons.
