Jax is one of the members that notices something is off

Your body language, the way you speak etc. is something that makes him think "Did I meet this person before entering this digital world or am I tweaking??"

He's curious on why he feels like this, so he hangs around you more

This includes you getting pranked more than the others, getting dragged with him to anywhere, and all that shit.

He usually sits next to you at the feast table aswell

But no matter what he does, he can't seem to figure out why you feel so familiar to him (And why your antics make him feel weird inside in a positive way but he pretends this isn't happening)

So the conclusion he just came up with was you being an old co worker, old friend, or anything like that in the real world

Once you two were walking around, trying to find some sort of item for the current in house adventure

Jax told you in that moment about how he felt like he met you before entering the digital circus, and if you ever knew someone who acted like him to confirm his theory

To his luck, you did!

What he didn't expect though was you saying he kind of acted like your S/O.

You kind of regretted saying that after in fear of things getting awkward between you two but Jax looked like he didn't give a single fuck

Infact, he looked like he was questioning everything right now while also not looking like he was questioning everything right now

Did this mean he had a S/O?? That is you???

Hes abit conflicted with that statement ofcourse, and thinks about it

It would make sense; The reason to why you make him feel weird would be answered too

Though even then I feel like he wouldn't be sure how to go on about this.

Gangle also notices something weird, like she met you once before

But she thinks it's just her overthinking

Though, she did find it abit odd aswell because both of you got along immediatly

Like something clicked between you two.

You also defended Gangle alot, which was kind of suprising to her

You were interested in what she was interested, and even if you werent, you didn't go out of your way to look at her weirdly or make fun of it

So ofcourse she'll get attached.

But she still tells herself she's probably overthinking about the whole "I met you before entering the digital circus" thing

It would make sense, but it seemed impossible for her

She basically thinks that someone like you (Boss and shit) wouldn't hangout with her (Girlfail and shit) if it was actually both of you in the real world, even though you two regularly hang out in the digital one (Ik she is one of those people that think like that I just KNOW)

I feel like Gangle is also one of the few people that forgot almost everything about the outside world, this includes ofcourse having a S/O

And therefore, like the others, she'll also get upset when you tell her while you two were having a drawing sesh that you got here while helping the police investigate your S/O's missing person case

Gangle planned on confessing to you before you told her this

She didn't feel nervous around you, so she felt like that even if you rejected her, you could still be friends

Ofcourse, now she won't confess anymore, since she knows you already have a partner, and she dosen't want to make you uncomfortable in any way, shape or form (Oh girl)

Let's hope that if you both get out, Gangle gets her faded memories back and you see that your partner was literally in the digital world with you the entire time

JOSHUA: you know that this guy never checks his messages, so whenever you need him for emergencies, you always call instead. that's why, when your signal is only strong enough for a flurry of texts, he doesn't see them until an hour later. your last message reads i'll just go home. confused, he scrolls up to find a bunch of emojis and ? are you standing me up lol and ...are you seriously standing me up, and it takes a second before he finally realizes what today is. fuck. fuck. he's the one who scheduled this date, going on a spiel about how you haven't seen each other in a while, so you went out of your way to free up your schedule. and now he looks like a grade-a asshole for forgetting. scratch that, he is a grade-a asshole. he makes a few stops around town to pick up your favorite things for a night in before going to your place. it won't make up for the missed date, that much is obvious from your unimpressed stare as you open the door, but he's going to try his best to earn your forgiveness. in fact, as soon as he sees you, he gets on his knees on your steps with a dramatic declaration of, "love, i'm so, so sorry," and you have to drag him to his feet, saying that he's embarrassing you in front of your neighbors. but hey, at least you cracked a smile.

MINGYU: when seungcheol asks if he wants to continue their biking excursion to hit up a cool restaurant, mingyu says yes, even though he feels like he should have declined for some reason. that feeling continues tickling the back of his mind, up until they pay for the meal and cheol asks if they should get dessert. that's when you text him, informing your boyfriend that there's about ten minutes of trailers if he's running late, and his heart drops. he completely forgot about your movie date today. he tells you to go in first. i'll be there later, he types, i have my ticket on my phone. then he tells seungcheol what happened, and seungcheol asks how the hell he'll make it in time when they still have to bike back to their car. spoiler alert: he doesn't. by the time he makes it to the theater and pathetically slinks into his seat next to you, the movie is already in its final arc, and you're aggressively eating your snacks, ignoring his presence. he trails after you once the movie ends, waiting for your verdict and hoping that you'll take pity on his bedraggled state. you pause by your car and sigh. "well, c'mon," you say, opening the trunk for his bike rack. "i'm not so angry that i'll make you cycle all the way home." he decides during that tense car ride that he'll make the best dinner of his life tonight.

SEUNGKWAN: it's late, and you're still not home. after a while of worrying by himself, he calls and asks where you are. he almost thinks that the call dropped because you're silent for a full minute before asking him, incredulously, if he's serious. of course he's serious. he just finished an episode of a new drama, and he never makes it through one. "i've been waiting at the restaurant for the past twenty minutes," you say slowly. "and you're chilling in the living room?" no way. isn't that tomorrow? he flicks open his calendar and gasps when he realizes his mistake. "wait there for a bit, okay? i'm on my way," he says, scrambling to his feet, but you quickly stop him with a scoff. "you still need to get dressed and then get all the way here. they can't wait that long. i'll just leave." he feels awful. he slaps himself on the cheeks to get sense back into him. seungkwan, he scolds himself mentally. how could you do this? how could he forget this date? and it's not like you didn't try to reach him—he sees all the texts and phone calls now, blocked by the do not disturb that he forgot to turn off. "will they let you in by yourself? why don't you eat whatever you want and charge it to my card, hm? i'm so sorry."

VERNON: he doesn't know what he did wrong, but apparently he did something because you just went radio silent yesterday afternoon, even though you're still posting on your story. when he wakes up in the morning, he sees that even his good night texts are ignored. he sends you a good morning text anyway and asks how you slept, asks what your plans are for the day. by the time he gets to work, there's still no reply. "hey!" seungkwan yells out, rushing to his side. vernon automatically reaches for the coffee that he knows is around somewhere—seungkwan is nothing but predictable—and hums when he finds it. "so what'd you end up getting y/n yesterday? i thought you'd ask me for gift ideas, but since you were so secretive this year, i figured it was big." vernon blinks at him. "what was yesterday?" seungkwan blinks back. "you're kidding...their birthday dinner? you wanted to celebrate a week early? hello?" he snatches back his coffee. "you're the one who insisted on it. did you forget?" seungkwan's withering look bounces off the absolute dread that vernon feels. no wonder you were ignoring him. he pushes past seungkwan, already pulling out his phone. "i need to make a call really quick. can you tell the others i'll be late?"

CHAN: this is the lamest excuse in the book, but his phone died, and while he could've borrowed a charger...what was the point? if there was an emergency, people knew to call the other members. that's why he doesn't bother plugging it in until after practice, and when it finally charges up, the belated alert for your date appears, and he swears loud enough for the others to send him a look. "sorry!" he says, throwing all of his things into his bag. "you guys eat without me. i have somewhere to be!" he flies down the stairs and books it out of the building. something about his expression makes everyone jump out of his way, wondering what the heck has him so harried. somehow, he makes it to the place in record time and scans the crowd for your face, lighting up when he sees you under an awning. then his smile falls when he sees your expression. he feels so, so bad for leaving you waiting out here. he shrugs off his jacket and puts it around your shoulders, ignoring the fact that you don't look happy to see him. "why don't we get something warm to drink?" he murmurs, clasping your cold hands. at least he didn't miss the main event—if he missed that, he doesn't know if you'll forgive him.

What are your all-time favorite outfits from Twisted Wonderland?

Hello @letterstoear, thank you for ask! I've had a lot of fun making this post, and I'm so sorry that it took forever to answer!

Every time I was certain I had my list narrowed down, I remembered another outfit I really liked. (Also, I'm a little bit biased, as you will see...haha). This time, I focused on event outfits to make it easier for myself. Maybe in the future I'll post my "reviews" on dorm uniforms or Halloween costumes.

I am always blown away by the the little details that Yana Toboso and the rest of the design team have added to each of characters' outfits, because they give some interesting insight to their personalities and backgrounds.

Without further ado, let's discuss some outfits! (Please note that there are spoilers for upcoming events from the JP server, as well as some groovy arts!)

My Favorite Twisted Wonderland Outfits

10. Floyd's Outdoor Wear (Vargas Camp)

Most of the outfits on my list are on the extravagant side. I recently bought a volume of Black Butler, where there was a note about how Yana Toboso loves to draw clothing, and it truly shows.

But in contrast to seeing our beloved characters in over-the-top costumes, it's refreshing to see them wearing casual outfits once in a while as well and see their individual, everyday styles.

I'll admit that I haven't played any of the Vargas Camp events, and have a grand total of zero (0) cards from this series. I'm not sure why; I always miss the event's runtime for some reason.

Still, I've always loved Floyd's little sling bag with the eel keychain, as well as the teal visor. The bright colors stand out and are appealing.

The whole outfit looks like something you could get from a store like Uniqlo, and sometimes it is nice to have that sort of realism in a magical game. He looks like an ordinary teenager I could find on the street. Except...if I did find Floyd on the street, I'd be running in the other direction. But that's not the main idea here.

9. Azul's Glorious Masquerade Outfit

At first, I sort of forgot that this SSR existed. When the PV for Glorious Masquerade came out, I was more focused on Malleus.

However, eventually, many people began to cosplay as GloMas Azul, and they all looked so amazing. I began to appreciate the outfit more after seeing people pose and dance in it. Azul also tends to have some of the best fanart, and fans have spared no expense when drawing him wearing this.

My favorite part of the outfit is his coat. I like the silhouette it creates with a high-waist belt, and the long coattails that resemble tentacles. The ruffles on his trousers are cute, too. I would buy a pair if I could. Unfortunately, it's hard to see these details on his in-game sprite.

As for his accessories, the pearls are so dramatic (and so very Azul). His round glasses are also cute, I hope he wears them again!

8. Idia's Suitor Suit

One look at Idia's Ghost Marriage outfit, and you can really tell that it was designed by Yana Toboso. His gloves, coat, and cravat make him look like he's in the Victorian Era. Also, doesn't he look sort of like Grelle from Black Butler?

Speaking of Grelle, Idia's outfit is meant to look more like funeral attire, between the long, black coat and the lilies pinned to his shoulder. There are also skulls hidden throughout his outfit, such as on his jacket chain and cufflinks. I was still new to TWST at the time, so I just thought that Idia liked gothic clothing. I didn't realize he was (at least in his mind) attending his own funeral!

Let's not forget his new hairstyle! This is one of Idia's first SSRs if I remember correctly, so it was exciting to see him with a ponytail.

My love for this outfit also comes from my love for the story associated with it. Fans have pointed out that Idia's "arranged marriage" with Eliza parallels the myth of Hades and Persephone. The design team and Yana were so clever for this.

I don't have this card, either, but I hope to pick him up one day!

7. Ortho's Fairy Gear

The Shroud brothers are luckyーthey are probably two of the characters with the most SSRs in the game.

That being said, we all have to agree that Ortho's fairy gear is one of the most unique and avant-garde cards in the game.

I really enjoy the white and gold color scheme in this event. His color-changing wings are stunning, and the piece covering his eyes makes him look very mysterious.

I thought this card was cool when I first saw it, but then I learned that Ortho's outfit and hair can turn pink, which is even better.

Every time I see his "pointe shoes," it makes me imagine Ortho and Idia trying to learn how to dance together in Idia's room, and Idia obsessively studying ballet costumes for his younger brother.

Yet again, I don't have this card, but my best friend does! At least I can admire him from her phone...

6. Silver's Rabbit Wear

There is no way that this outfit is just an R card! When this card was first advertised in one of the JR rail train stations, the pictures showed this card with Deuce's hometown in the background instead of the standard Diasomnia R background, so I thought that this card would at least be an SR. (Although I can't complain so much, because that means it's free!)

Silver is so princely. I am convinced that he can look good in anything. I am fond of pastel colors, and the pink/blue color scheme suits him, as the TWST version of Aurora. The bows may be silly, but I find them adorable.

Compared to the other boys in this event, Silver's outfit looks a little more like a soldier's (albeit a toy soldier's or a nutcracker's), which is a cool touch.

5. Deuce's Rabbit Wear

Deuce's hometown event was truly one of my favorite events that came out in the JP sever last year. Not only were some of my most favorite characters there, but they were dressed up in the most whimsical outfits possible. (And we got to meet Deuce's motherーshe's the coolest!)

Since Deuce is the main character of this event, his outfit bears the most resemblance to the white rabbit's in most classic illustrations, complete with a bow tie, top hat, and, of course, his pocket watch. His outfit has a blue color scheme. Like Azul in GloMas, Deuce also wears round glasses in his groovy art. Overall, it looks like the sweet ouji style, although I'm not very familiar with this sub-fashion. If anyone who is reading this has studied/worn this style of fashion, please let me know!

I used to play Love Nikki and Shining Nikki (two fashion-themed gacha games), which also featured lolita dresses inspired by Alice in Wonderland characters. For this reason, Deuce's outfit in particular feels very nostalgic to me.

4. Lilia's Right General Armor

Here's another departure from the cute pastel outfits...

Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorite Disney movies as a child. I always remembered Maleficent's "goons" as short, silly little creatures wearing simple green tunics.

So how on earth did we get to Right General Lilia Vanrouge?!

Seriously, I'm just stunned by how the artists looked at the source material and created something so radically, yet wonderfully, different.

I'm curious about the green stones (jades?) on his outfit--around his waist, there are several pieces attached to tassels, and he has two strapped to his right leg. The material matches the stone used for his weapon. Maybe it represents his status in Briar Valley. If you check his (unposed) sprite, you can also see that he is wearing something around his waist that looks like folded bat wings.

Like everyone else, I'm obsessed with his long hairーit makes him look so formidable, especially with that hood. My friends and I like to joke that his ponytail makes him look like a character in a Chinese martial arts drama.

Again, the story associated with this card made me love it even more. Few books have made me cry as much as Book 7 of TWST.

3. Malleus' Glorious Masquerade Outfit

While Sleeping Beauty was my favorite movie as a young child, when I got older, I began to love The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It was only natural for this outfit to be among my favorites for this reason.

There are so many details here. The feathered hat. The sheer sleeves. The golden embroidery. The split cape. It's honestly overwhelming to take in at once.

I can say that my favorite detail is his green earrings. They really bring out his eye color, and the PV made them so sparkly.

In addition, everyone I've ever seen who has cosplayed as GloMas Malleus or has drawn fanart of him has increased my appreciation of this outfit.

[Now for some very spoiler-y stuff] The fact that this event came just before the release of Chapter 7 is worth noting. Doesn't it feel a bit tragic that just before Malleus' overblot, we have a chance to see him wearing an outfit that makes him look especially like his mother, having fun and being the star at the masquerade? And what about the feathers on his shouldersーdo they hint at another side of his family? There's so much foreshadowing and mystery going on, and nothing is more suitable for the occasion than masquerade attire.

2. Kalim's New Year Attire

I've already rambled about how sentimental this outfit is to me in a previous post, but in summary: New Year is my favorite holiday, and the New Year's Sale event was the first event I "seriously" participated in. Kalim looks excessively cute and festive in his kimono, and every time I see this card, I feel nostalgic and in the holiday mood.

1. (Tied) Epel's Applepom Outfit and Riddle's Beach Outfit

I'm really sorry, Epel and Riddle are my favorite characters, and in the end, I refuse to chose between them. They're like my younger brothers! I try to collect all of their cards, so I pay attention to their outfits the most, and picking only one outfit for each character was a challenge in itself.

My favorite part of Epel's Applepom outfit is his cloak. It looks so fluffy and warm. When you set him as your home screen character, you also have the option to "swap looks" and see his outfit without the cloak--the apple embroidery on the rest of his outfit is very detailed. Many fans have mentioned that the outfits people wear in Harveston resemble traditional Scandinavian clothing, which is really cool!

The little apple slices on his cap are everything.

And I'm always happy to see characters in different hairstyles, such as Epel's little ponytail.

One of my headcanons is that you're allowed to call Epel cute, but only when he wears this specific outfit, because he takes it as a complement to his culture.

As for Riddle, we're all so used to seeing him wearing formal suits. It's so nice to see him loosening up for once. He looks so happy, now that he has the chance to see the ocean for the first time!

I also happened to be on vacation at the beach around the time this event came out, so it felt like a gift.

I have to laugh a little, because there are so many flowers on his outfit. Even Jack pointed it out in the story. But he looks so cute!

I suppose we have to discuss the elephant in the room. My friend saw it before me, so she spammed me with messages along the lines of "RIDDLE IS WEARING A CROP TOP!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!" and I naturally thought she was pranking me. But lo and behold, it's the truth. I like to headcanon that among the rest of the cast in this event, everyone has made an unspoken mutual agreement not to mention it. This Victorian child has already been through enough, and not a word must reach Mrs. Rosehearts.

A bottle of my dad's cologne he let me keep for my 16th birthday. Frankincense. Lilacs. Sunscreen. Cedarwood. Pine chips. Pumpkin. Clean laundry. I dont think I can pick just one.

in human form, he has scales in a few places

down the side of his hips to the top of his thighs and a few straglers on his ankles

his scales are blue and green. they're iridescent as well, super pretty

the closer to his chest, the lighter his scales are but there's still some dark ones around his hips that are more like a navy blue

his fins are probably on the greener side as well, and im thinking more translucent too

i looked at some fanart, i think his tail would be more on the "capey" side as well

Dear god this has been in my drafts for a while-

Hiya! Sorry for that lack of info lol, I'd been inactive for a long time, and the time that I actually WAS posting consistently was back when things were still being sorta fleshed out. But I've got a pretty good idea of how every single part moves at this point, so sure :D I'll give a not-so-brief summary lol [under a cut because I couldn't not dump multiple paragraphs teehee ~_~]

Tone Deaf is like a dystopian version of Sing, if I were to put it super duper simply. One where Buster's issues get more emotional focus, and we get actual bonds with the cast because the movie forgot to do that.

Buster is, also, a lot more unhinged, fair warning. This fic's gonna contain violence and tackle some darker subjects [adjacent to grief and denial more specifically] so if it feels like I jumped a lot of sharks, it's because I 100% did.

It kinda started with me noticing how, in the actual movies btw, smaller characters like Buster and Mike had more difficulty getting around places. This led me to ask myself about how species differences could lead to struggles for certain animals since the city just isn't built for everyone [this is NOT Zootopia]. Ash's quills, and Meena's towering size were things I noticed too that would be massive problems, realistically. So after a lot of pondering, now we're here.

The world of Tone Deaf in present day is in a post-war period that's lasted about 50 years now [Crawly is actually a veteran from this war- which was more like complete and total anarchy if I'm being real, since there weren't really any sides until near the end...]

Long story short, the wealthy capitalized off of the war and taking people prisoner- so they purposefully kept it going. A resistance ended up forming to stand against this [Miss Crawly being one of the generals, with that classic missing eye] and after their army stormed the unsuspecting stronghold, the war finally began to conclude. It still took around a year after that to release all of the prisoners of war, and by the end of it all, the damage that had been done to some races was permanent. Even extinction-level in some cases- some animals just straight up don't exist anymore because of it.

Back to Calatonia. Laws that are in place to protect animals from tearing eachother apart are still relatively new, and the criminal underbelly of Calatonia is kinda out of control. Animals get kidnapped/poached, smaller animals are at a huge disadvantage and have basically no power [politically or otherwise], endangered species are a very real thing, poverty is a huge issue for most of the population- and in the middle of all this is Buster Moon.

He's gonna be the main perspective. And the story will also serve as a slight character study on him, mixed with my own grittier and batshit insane changes/headcanons/alternate universe ideas on his backstory. He's a ray of sunshine with a lot of bottled-up feelings that will kinda really take control of the story.

Buster has been arrested multiple times. He's been put in unsuccessful therapy. He's still grieving his dad. He's committing crime and compulsively lying about those illegal actions too. He has emotional difficulties that he hasn't dared try touching on in years, and he has issues with letting go- which, is kinda how all of his new problems come to be.

The threat of his theater being repossessed if his show isn't a success gets a LOT more emphasis too.

But on top of that is the added threat of Buster getting sent out of the city if he can't get his business up and running. Remember how I mentioned endangered animals?? Well Koalas are one of them. One of the big ones, actually. He's the only Koala in a city of almost five hundred thousand, and it's been that way for almost half a decade now. It's been causing issues for the people in charge for half a decade now. Koalas have government-protected settlements far away from here due to their numbers being so few, so if Buster loses the theater? That's the next step for him.

But, to help this poor dude through all the stress of life is the found-family he develops with the cast he hired. He helps them for a lot of the first act, and then they give back his kindness in the second. They connect through their similar experiences, as well as their shared passion for music and performance. And by the end, maybe Buster's okay. Or maybe he's had a complete downward spiral [not gonna speak of act three 🥰]

Other characters have also had a shift in their dynamics. Things in the story have changed. Like for instance- Gunter already knew Buster and was a close friend of him and Eddie before the show, Judith is now the mayor and a main character, Pete has been put in place of the banker in charge of Buster's accounts, Buster unfortunately gets involved in politics, Mike actually gets to bond with the cast- actually the cast gets to bond with the cast point blank period [idc what you say, this just straight up doesn't happen in the canon movies], and to top it all of is a generous helping of angst with a few acts of violence sprinkled in 🤭

The actual Act I summary is this right now:

Buster had been in tight situations before-- suffocating situations, even. He’d been in every kind of trouble imaginable, he thought. With family, friends, local businesses, the law. But he'd always wormed his way out, either through loopholes or by charm. Or usually just by stacking another lie on top of his already crumbling facade. But this time it's gonna take more than a cover-up to fix this. ‏‏‎ Buster’s dishonesty takes him too far once again, a simple typo causing him to unintentionally land himself in a wager that could cost his very life. He has two months to fix this- to ACTUALLY fix this. And the worst part is that he hadn't even meant to lie this time. ‏‏‎ The First Act of Tone Deaf.

TLDR; Buster learns to love again after experiencing the horrors of animalkind firsthand and being healed by theater kids LMFAO

The stage was alight, gold shimmers all over, no fans awaiting him and cheering. Night swan has fled, afterall. The floor was so clean, Jack Rose could see his reflection in it and saw how the sounds of his steps synchronized with his mirror image. The red suit he adored, resting upon himself in a high manner, the only thing that stung in his eyes however was the batch of feathers, decorating his shoulder.His hand reached up, grabbing them and bunching them up in his hand, clutching tightly.

The image of his mother scrutinizing him. She's standing miles above him, laughing as she holds her hand in front of a condescending smirk, feathers falling all around.

Teeth grit, he was about to rip the bush of pink off of his jacket, when he heard heels echoing through the space. He tensed, and stood as he did, hand still in the feathers. The sound got closer and closer, he <em> recognised</em> the sound, not in a negative way.

Eyes averting to the ground he saw the familiar shape of someone he had come to adore, mirror image slightly warped, gold striken, yet nothing - no gold, no glitter, no otherworldly shine, could ever enhance the sun that she already was.

"You look tense…", she started, yet trailed off and he could feel it melt him. The sweet light tone in her voice entered through his ear and reached his heart. He let go of the feathers, hand sinking to his side, no words leaving his mouth. She stood next him, followed his gaze to their mirror images on the shiny golden floor.

It's been over five weeks since Night Swan had fled. The tower was as empty as it could be, yet people…visited him. He wasn't lonely, though he preferred to visit the others. The woman next to him, Y/N, she and Sara were from a different universe altogether, yet unlike Sara, Y/N didn't like to leave the danceverse. Always saying she preferred it here, she had nothing to lose. Sara also loved the danceverse, yet was more prone to frequent visits, than basically almost living here. Jack wished Y/N just lived here fully.

She started swaying a little and her frilly and upbeat skirt flowed with her. He swallowed hard. Finally, he opened his mouth to speak.

"What brings you here?", he tried to sound suave, his voice almost never betrayed him. He was a born performer afterall.

"I was just wondering how you're doing."

"How so?"

They were still looking at each other's reflections.

"Brezzianas beach party…you missed it."

"Right." He forgot. Too occupied in his own sorrow, perhaps.

"Is there a reason you didn't go?"

"No, to be completely honest with you, I merely forgot."

She giggled a bit at that. He raised his eyebrow and snickered. "You're not there either."

"Well…it felt off without you."

<em>Felt off without you.</em>

It rang in his head, like a loud BANG that you would hear from a large bell falling. Gut churning and butterflies rising. How can he help it though? When he first saw her, stood next to the others of the crew, a little shy and timid, yet when she had started dancing, there was an energy to her, drawing him in.

Maybe you could call it love at first dance. At least he did so in his head.

Only laughing at her statement, she lightly shoved her elbow against his. "What's so funny?"she was smiling at herself.

"Nothing, it's just…I'm so important that I'd be missed at a party?"

"I was hoping we could dance together."

"Her dances are a lot more workout than a typical waltz."

"I cant waltz, I don't mind doing workout dancing. And with you there it's like icing on the cake."

"Not in this suit."

She laughed again and that's when he finally averted his eyes and looked at her. Her eyes were squinted due to her smile, her pretty face a little reddened in a blush and he did his best to not turn red himself.Their gazes met and her expression did not change.

“You can't waltz? He asked, sounding appalled.

“No, not really, might sound off, but I have two left feet when it comes to dances like waltz.”

“I don't believe that.”

“Well, you have to.”, Y/N giggled.

Dark gloves suddenly meet a pale one and Y/N looks down. Jack grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. They have touched hands before, several high fives exchanged, why did she look startled? Why was his heart beating faster?

“No…no no no no…”, she laughed nervously, “...you're not gonna teach me that now.”

“And why won't I?”, his hands have already claimed positions, one at her waist the other one holding her hand.

"Because I don't want to miserably fail in front of you and on a stage!", she laughed, a nervous tone clearly visible and Jack laughed.

"What do you mean, "and on a stage"? There is now audience."

"But its still on a stage, you know?!"

They both laughed, Y/Ns nervousness was clear, but Jack somehow found it adorable. She was still in his hold and despite the hesitance to learn that traditional dance. He got an idea.

"Stand on my feet."

"Huh?? But-...your shoes!"

"Come on, just stand on them.", after saying that he pulled her a bit closer, trying to get her on his feet himself. But with a nervous laugh she did as he asked, and her shoes atop of his and Jack now in control of their movement. After making sure he was steadily holding her up, he started with the simple stepping pattern of the waltz. Box step being as far as he could go with her on his feet she slowly started to giggle. He continued swaying them like that for a while, observing her. Y/N looked down at their feet basically the whole time, sometimes her lips would purse in concentration despirte him doing all the work, her lashes were so long, he didn't notice it before. Being this close to her gave him that chance, to get another good look at the woman who stole his heart.

As if moving on their own, his feet broke the step pattern and started to just spin them around. Effectively creating a freestyle that would definitely look weird to outsiders looking in, but how good there weren't any. This tickled all the gorgeous laughs out of her.

"Is this still waltzing?" she almost shouted that laughter talking mix. A deep chuckle left his own lips, but he didnt awnser, merely getting caught up in the moment, gloved hands grasped her tightly and lifted her into a princess carry to then freely spin her around.

"Ja-hahaha!! Jack!!", her cheeks were blossoming with color besides the glowing white, he could feel his own do the same.

When he finally slowed down with a small stumble, he still held Y/N, both still laughing. His hand felt warm on Y/Ns back and one of hers was braced against his chest, the other one around his neck. She was the first to regulate her breathing, having done less work after all, and she thought about changing the placement of her hands, despite knowing she wouldn't be able to bring herself to, maybe she could indulge in the moment for a while longer.

He was still panting a little when looking down at her, realizing his cheeks hurt from smiling. That was an odd feeling to him. Of course he has felt it more often since he has made his new friends, but this smile here, with her, it felt even wider. “So? Can't waltz, huh?”

“You did all the work.”

He merely shrugged and let out a breathy laugh. Y/N couldn't help but giggle too.

“I should probably put you down.”

“Oh…right.”, but at that moment she decided she was stubborn. Her arms wrapped around his neck, heat rising to his cheeks, but he quickly startled all together, because she suddenly made herself feel very heavy. Like a toddler during some sort of protest. Holding onto her, he struggled a little to stay upright on his legs.

“Wh-what is this you're doing?”

Y/N only laughed and after another minute of just feeling him struggle, she lifted the weight from his arms and stopped challenging gravity. “Sorry.”, it was sheepish, she enjoyed this too much. And Jack set her down, shaking his arms as if to wake them up.

“Thats how you repay me for teaching you how to waltz?”

She belted a laugh. “You can see it like one of those trust fall tests?”

“Right.”, he laughed himself, his arms might have a burden less on them, but they missed how they perfectly fit against her body, like puzzle pieces. Sudden emptiness washing over both limbs. But her own smile hardened a little, turned serious.

“So…why did you really not come to the party?”

And his eyes widened. Was he always an open book? No, only to her. Her gaze pierced right through that performer persona, seeing the weeping traumatized boy beneath it. Lips pressed into a thin line, he first tried to think of a lie but knew it was pointless.

“...I was too busy moping, I suppose.”

Her face changed again, the hardened smile turning into sympathy.

“And I think you can guess because of what.”

She hummed in response to that, looking a bit lost in thought, as to what to do? To say? He didn't know either, only that he was embarrassed about still being hung up on his mother having fled after a raging defeat. But she remembered what he seemed to almost do before she arrived and moved to complete the job. Or she at least tried. Naturally shaky hands gripped the suspenders that held the array of feathers against his shoulders and Jack's eyes widened in shock, though she quickly figured out that she was somehow not able to pry the button and buckle apart and only grew frustrated. Jack smiled at her puffed cheeks and placed his hand over hers, undoing the suspenders with no issues. The feathers almost fell, but Y/N caught them and pulled them off his shoulder herself.

As soft as the feathers were, she only let herself marvel at the feel for a second before throwing it onto the empty space where a crowd would be.

“A fan of yours would have died to catch this just now!”, she laughed.

“Yeah, yeah. I'll probably pick it up later.”

“I guessed as much. I would have too.”

“My outfit looks empty now.”, his hand unconsciously met his shoulder, not used to there being nothing. And Y/N looked dumbstruck at that.

“uhm…we can trade jackets?”

“I doubt your short cut cardigan will fit me, but I suppose…”, he did think taking his suit jacket off might help the outfit. Having always had to keep an eye on his appearance he's quick to pick apart his outfit, knowing he needed to look presentable. When he shrugged the jacket off, he was left in his dark purple dress shirt whose sleeves were folded neatly barely above his elbow, the satin shined in the lighting. Looking up at Y/N he found her eyeing him, especially the tattoo on his right arm.

“I've had this since a rebellious phase in my teen years.”

“Oh! Uh…”, that snapped her out of the trance that seeing him shrug the jacket off put her in. <em>Was she…enjoying the view?</em> “So? Do you feel lighter? How is Jack Rose?”

“I do feel lighter, but what do you mean with, how “Jack Rose” is?”

“Well, I'm asking Jack Rose how he's feeling. Not Jack Swan.”

She said it so nonchalantly. So calmly. The gentle smile gracing her face again, and god, how can one person have so many different smiles? His facade broke down more. “Jack Rose is…happy to be where he is right now.”, he pretended to ignore the way his voice cracked.

“I'm glad.”, stepping closer, Y/N pressed him into a quick hug and released him again. Then she spoke again. “We're all super excited to have you with us. Who knows what would've happened, had you not joined our side. Never are we gonna condemn you for your past, it happened already afterall!”

She gestured a little wildly with her arms, to put even more emphasis on her statements, their gazes locked. “What counts is now and if I'm gonna be honest, I couldn't be happier to know this present Jack Rose.”

His head screamed at him to not act irrational, yet this was his last straw in a way. His heart was filled to the brim - more than that - it was overflowing, bursting, cracking and leaking all at once. Jack's hands reached out to cup her cheeks, as he pressed their lips together in a chaste kiss. His hold loosened and then tightened again when she reciprocated afterall. And so they stood there, kissing, on a brightly lit stage, their only audience being each other and their hearts pounding out of their chests. When they finally pulled apart, he whispered an I love you, and she teared up.

“I love you too.”, she whispered back.

I hope Liyue is treating you well. I cannot imagine how hot it must be there, especially during these summer months. Just to keep it safe, I have sent a list of some Liyuen herbs which help keep a lower body temperature, add it to your diet at least once and the results will be quite nice in keeping you in good health.

That aside, I would like to inform you that I have found what you and Cyno have been up to recently. That was, admittedly, quite a far-fetched and highly risky thing to do. I am very touched by the lovely thought behind your plans but it ended up being quite the headache for us forest rangers. While I don't mind it, others do, and you're more than aware that it bothers me when someone is badmouthing you.

For something so simple as being invited to the academia to be officially regarded with such a fancy title, a nice gift and a day spent in your company was enough for me. Why you would go out of your way to trouble yourself, even more so when you're not even in the nation is simply beyond me.

I don't see why you should take the trouble of doing something so much as building a cabin in the woods, with the help of a professional architect at that. I wanted to give Kaveh a scolding too, but he seemed so ashamed and guilty over the repeated mistake that I couldn't help but forgive him immediately. As for you, young lady/man, no interactions with Cyno anymore! You both simply lose your wits when around each other, and end up in trouble when I'm not around.

Nevertheless, Collei has informed me that Al Haitham has been maintaining correspondence with you regarding trade affairs in Liyue recently. While I care very little about who you deal with during work hours, as long as you're safe that is, Al Haitham does trouble my conscience a bit. I would suggest you keep an eye out for him. You can predict what someone who sticks to their ideals will do next, but what an emotionlessly logical person will do next is simply... unfathomable, and very shocking at best.

Ah, being with you two makes me feel like a part-time parent sometimes.

Collei is very happy about the small pair of earrings you had made for her before leaving and wears them just about every day now. She mentioned how silver was usually bad for her, and she rarely wore silver earrings, but the alloy quality of the material you used in yours is so excellent that the side effects are simply none at all. It makes me quite curious. Can we sit together one day and make a pair of matching pins for us, too? I'd love to see your technique, the craftsmanship is impeccable in your work.

I really ended up boasting about you in front of Collei and the look she gave me, that teasing look... you really make me lose control sometimes. Regardless, I am quite proud of you. Kaveh has been singing your praises about how nice, diplomatic yet artistic you are in your approach and mentioned how much he would love to have a chance to work with you again. He really looks forward to meeting you.

More than him, however, I look forward to seeing you as soon as possible. A blatant exaggeration but the chirping of the Blue Jay seems a bit quieter when you aren't around, and the absence of your lyre is beginning to eat me up entirely. Your scent has faded from the drawing room and there is very little I have to be reminded of you whenever I'm missing you. I send you my best wishes, so whatever business is keeping you finishes soon.

Cyno, Dehya and Kaveh are doing well. Collei has been suffering from a seasonal but is otherwise quite alright. Nilou and Candace look forward to speaking with you over tea. I would love to send you something, but I ended up giving you all the sweets and presents before you left so I don't have many options up my sleeve anymore.

I still want to send these chocolates, though. Dehya gave them to me, telling me that you had asked her for one of these packets when she had introduced them to you first. I look forward to having one of these with you, too.

Past sketches of the Kawoshin fankids I worked on(with weird background info)

I made a post a bit ago about my & @tay-likes-toons's Kawoshin kids I thought I'd show the old sketches I made before. I've already explained the characters so unless something that wasn't mentioned needs added I'm not making another description for them.

Before I go on I want to mention that these were ideas made up from before the final movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion happened. I hadn't seen the Rebuild movies(let alone anything in the series past Kaworu & Shinji's interactions & Kaworu dying in the movie) but knew some stuff. The RPs were stuff got made up/weird attempts to add what I understood with our own ideas for how the series should end since it felt like the last film was never going to happen. I've tried to cut down on a lot of rambling but all you need to know is Kaworu some how cause Shinji to be an angel like him thanks to stuff in the time loops.(Cause I get the feeling Kaworu as an angel is immortal so he'd be separated from Shinji eventually thanks to Shinji's mortality & for some reason my solution is making Shinji also immortal) The kids are also angels thanks to this.

Adam, Ibuki(who has gone threw a few name changes), Kain & Evie were originally quadruplets but at some point aside from Ibuki & Kain they were all turned into different aged siblings. For whatever reason Evie stays in a baby/toddler form(angel ability), she can go into her actual form(her real age) when she wants & at some point eventually stays in it. Ibuki's design is based on draft anime Kaworu & Kain's is based on a sketch/prototype Kaworu were he had smoothed down hair with bangs swooping to the left.

This is the first sketch I ever made of them, I forgot when I made this. Added Kaworu & Shinji cause it was meant to be a family pic. Most of them suffers from "I can't draw heights well enough so the legs are longer to make up for missing mass in the drawing". Shinji is kinda short compared to the rest of the family cause he's still learning to control his angel abilities. Also yeah Ibiki use to be named Satoshi for some reason, at one point he was named Gendo Jr cause in some RPs Gendo became a better dad that was on good terms with Shinji. I don't think Kain had a name at the time or it was changing a lot.

This was posted July 24, 2019 which I'm guessing means this was made in 2019.

Everyone is a little more closer to how they look currently, also Kain's name was spelled with a "C" back then. Evie's adult form was meant to seem mysterious since she hides it.

Gosh do I have a type and they're all Old Men and Tragic Ladies my beloved. Let's go!! 1. Varric Tethras (Dragon Age 2): he shot right through my heart with that crossbow THE LITERAL SECOND he came on screen and I've been cursing Bioware ever since. He is a nonromanceable short king and I have never wanted anyone more thx. 2. Nakmor Drack (Mass Effect Andromeda): the Tempest Crew is so freaking charming, and while I love my jelly fish cat aliens the Angara, my favorite character is absolutely this old cantakerous grandpa Krogan. Whom, much like Wrex, I wish I could romance. (p.s. there is a TEASE of a flirt option and u can imagine how little that helped my case) 3. Spock (literally every Star Trek iteration): He is my Everything. Nemoy, Quinto, and Peck all bring something unique to the character's portrayal. I love him in every universe and I can never get enough of this EMOTIONALLY COMPROMISED NERD.

4. Alicent Hightower (House of the Dragon): one half of my divorced lesbinems and I feel so much for her and the tragedy/complexity of both her character and the heartwrenching slow decay of her r/s with Rhaenyra. I cannot wait for S2. 5. Aerith Gainsborough (Final Fantasy VII): ooooough, beautiful, tragic, kind, funny, cool flower seller of my life. Remake!Aerith particularly stole my heart along with the show. There is this sad, beguiling mystery about her that draws you in, and she is so cheerful in spite of it all. I can't wait for Rebirth but also I am terrified lol. 6. Yennefer of Vengerberg (The Witcher): "How ravishing she is, he thought. Everything about her is ravishing. And menacing. Those colours of hers; that contrast of black and white. Beauty and menace. Her raven-black, natural curls. Her cheekbones, pronounced, emphasising a wrinkle, which her smile – if she deigned to smile – created beside her mouth, wonderfully narrow and pale beneath her lipstick…" I mean. C'mon. She is this extremely competent, understated cool, calculating yet caring and earnest character who compliments Jimmy so well and whose nuances her amazing actress Rhea Seehorn manages to convey so masterfully. She is also tragic af, but hello it's Breaking Bad prequel lol. On that note... 9. Kim Kitsuragi (Disco Elysium): DOUBLE KIM WHAMMY!!! They're so alike it's not even funny. I'd say Kim has the stronger moral center between the two, but I love them for many of the same reasons. He is also extremely competent, understated cool, with a side of being totally game for Harry's antics once he warms up to him (my Harry build was 'himbo' so he did a lot of dumb shit but he was nice). 10. Irving Bailiff (Severance): firstable, if you haven't seen Severance yet, please do yourself the favor and don't let me spoil this for u!! Irving Bailiff is an Experience. He is a stickler for the rules and very much a stick in the mud compared to his colleagues, but his true self leaks into this version of himself slowly at first, then in surprising bursts of rebellion that become clear at the end when it is shown that his Outtie/true self is actively trying to bring Lumon down like a TOTAL FUCKING BADASS in the most delightful reveal. Also he has a whirlwind romance with another old man played by Christopher Walken.

DUDE i had the exact same reaction when i realized that i recognized your username as the person who told me about Mark not speaking in the closing argument. to answer your question, uhhhh, i just really like fangans and theorizing? i'm definitely still missing some of the big ones (coward's paradise, (he)artless deceit, ch1 of shattered hope, to name a few i've heard of but not seen), but that's mostly because i'm trying not to overload my brain by getting into too many new fangans at once. better to save them for a rainy day when my drdt hype dwindles a little, right? :)

anyways, to finally respond to your comment that i fully forgot to read after i couldn't easily open the link on mobile (sorry!!!)... yeah, the fact that it says Mark was absent in the tweet itself and not on the actual image would explain why i'd never seen that piece of information before. it is highly suspicious to put that information in an accessible place, but one that's easy to miss or forget about. that way, the information is out there, but it wouldn't be as widely called out as if he said it in his introduction or something.

i don't think it's a complete death sentence, though, because there are definitely ways to explain around it that don't involve him setting up the killing game. one option is that it's just supposed to highlight his reclusive nature. another is that wanting to release the big project he's supposedly been working on for this past year will eventually become a motive for murder. a third is that Mark's character seems pretty connected to Jett, who also has had to take time away from the spotlight due to his injuries. the fact that both of them have been benched for a little while could be something that causes them to bond, or something that's used to draw parallels between them, perhaps?

that being said, you're really cutting through my "i don’t really have anything that can argue him better or worse than 12th place." i wouldn't say Mark cracks my top 5 just yet (which Diana is still in, even if i wouldn't call her #1 anymore), but i think i'd update him to be my #6 most suspected thus far. the setup for his character gives me far fewer narrative doubts than the likes of Wenona, Wolfgang, and Eva, so even if i think that some of them being the mastermind could be cool, i have to admit that it's probably more realistic that Mark would become the mastermind. however, against Desmond as my other "there isn't much making him NOT suspicious," i still think that Mark's personality fits slightly less for a mastermind to me. (if he prefers to stay out of the spotlight, why would he trap himself in a killing game with 15 other people and two mascots...?)

i'm even more excited for chapter 1's release now. thank you for pointing all of this out to me! also, i have to ask: is Mark your #1 mastermind pick, or did you just think he should have been higher than 12th? i'm curious what you think.

Pardon me if I'm mistaken! But my understanding is that spirit!Cole did not possess human!Cole. He hasn't possessed anyone--he took corporeal form on his own after he crossed the Veil.

He has this banter about it with Dorian:

Dorian: You're not possessing a human body, Cole? You... actually look like that? Cole: Yes. Dorian: But a spirit's true form is always monstrous, or at least unnatural. Cole: The world doesn't make sense to them. It's too real. That's why they look wrong. Dorian: And... this is how you want to look? Cole: I want to help. Looking doesn't matter.

And there's also this piece of banter with Solas after "All New, Faded for Her":

Cole: Is there a way to save more spirits, Solas? Solas: Not until the Veil is healed. The rifts draw spirits through, and the shock makes demons of them. Cole: Pushing through makes you be yourself. You can hold onto the you. Cole: Being pulled through means you don't have enough you. You become what batters you, bruises your being. Solas: Yes, exactly. Deliberately crossing the Veil requires that a spirit form will, personality. Solas: That concept of self gives a spirit the chance to maintain its nature.

This does seem to me to imply that Cole "pushed through," i.e. came across intentionally--because of human!Cole's suffering, for sure, but still of his own volition.

As he says in Asunder, "I came through to help… and I couldn't. So I became him." But not by possessing him, because human!Cole is definitely dead--"They forgot about him. He starved to death"--and while a spirit can keep a mortal from dying, it doesn't seem like they can stop the decay of a body once the person has actually died.

His becoming "stuck" seems to be a result of him becoming more human as a result of embodying Cole, because if he becomes more spirit in Inquisition, he is able to return to the Fade.

That's my understanding of Cole--there's a lot of lore, and it's entirely possible I've missed or forgotten about something in the game or in Asunder, and if so, I'd be interested in hearing it!

I just read the Guide to Apollo-Speak, which openly admits he flayed Marsyas alive. In other news, I see we'll be getting cookies later on! Can't wait for that!

Caves of Trophonius, right? Will we be seeing him later on? Also, why is it dark? Does it only spout negative prophecies?

"He wants the Magic 8 Ball" "The Magic 8 Ball?" The Magic 8 Ball? The line in the haiku read, "Epic fail at prophecies" Lacking any other Oracle around, are they going to try defining the future with a Magic 8 Ball. Or, more concerningly, is the Magic 8 Ball actually infused with divine power and is a mini-Oracle in itself?

"I wished Calypso could only communicate 30 percent of the time." Lol I think she's almost more annoying to Apollo than Leo was to Frank in The Mark of Athena

Let me guess. You’re a Zenos enjoyer and that’s why you hate Zero. Because she got exactly the story you had hoped for Zenos. For him to learn how to be around people and go on adventures with you, but instead of him, his voidsent got the story.

Neat, my first ask on this account.

Oh dear lord I would have quit the game if they gave my sweet precious boy Zenos this story. Zenos is perfect as he is, and what you're describing is literally the plot of 6.0.

The patch story is, like, really bad.

1. It's clearly just a trial story, which is fine, but because they called it the msq, they felt they needed to take up a certain amount of playtime. So they invented these completely contrived, fake problems that give us an excuse to waste a ton of time talking to NPCs in Garlemald and the First who really have nothing meaningful to say.

2. The solution to their contrived problem, at least in Garlemald, flies in the face of the themes of the decade-long msq--selflessness, self-determination. It's literally just the propaganda line for 21st century colonialism??? "Garlemald, this poor sweet darling baby 🥹, its people are desperate not to improve their conditions, but to really feel like they've earned it 🥹 ! I know, we'll stop providing aid and instead let them sell off their natural resources to Thavnair for pennies, y'know, for the spirits of the people!"

3. E v e r y t h i n g just felt so god damn forced. The Golbez / Durante stuff was played up for tears, but we literally only just last patch learned who the fuck they are and their back story. Zeromus is completely irrelevant to the plot and was just an excuse to give us a trial. They literally were like "sorry, wol, you missed the story cuz you were just roleplaying a nuke, here's an echo flashback of what the *real* heroes were doing".

4. **Zero.** Counter to what I think you're implying, I never really had resentment toward her *in the context of Zenos*. Zenos had his ending. In fact, he had three endings if you're counting the high school AU. I love him, I love his character, I'd love to see more of him, but if they're done with him, I'm satisfied. **On the other hand** Zero just whines the entire god damn time, in the same exact way, about how she doesn't understand non-transactional relationships until suddenly it clicks for her in 6.5. There's no development, it's like they had an *idea* for the development and direction of the character, but they forgot they had to stretch it for two years worth of main story, so they just....had her repeat herself until her gigantic 180. It's not *shown* how she's transactional in nature or changing, it's just that she literally tells us every patch that that's how she is. It's so god damn boring and dry. It's like reading a 14 year old's fanfic.

5. The constant, unrelenting fellatio of FF4 also doesn't help. I have nothing against it, but they went *hard* with the "inspiration" this time. Makes everything feel disposable and predictable.

6. And since you brought up Zenos, like. Zero went *out of her way* to bring up Zenos in conversation, out of nowhere, four patches in a row. They were clearly angling to draw a contrast here, but it was never made. She never accepted or rejected Zenos view on friendship, she just ... WANTED TO SAY WORDS I guess. God I fucking. That went nowhere.

7. AND SPEAKING OF THINGS THAT WENT NOWHERE 6.1 was full of neat little lore about the voidsent and souls and what it means to devour someone. This all went absolutely freaking nowhere. Just thought we'd bring it up I guess????

8. So much, SO MUCH of Endwalker's story--main, patch, and side--revolves around the theme of companionship. At the same time, the game that story is in is progressively turning into a single player action rpg. It leaves the stories feeling hollow and fake. Like, okay, I should make friends and that's where the fun of the game should be. How should I do that? Uh...sit in limsa I guess? Cuz everywhere else is either silent (DF), communication forbidden (PvP), just soloed by the community (v/c dungeons), or positions other people as either warm bodies or hindrances (PF). FUCKING ENDWALKER man. They started off so strong with the msq and fucked it up every single step of the way.

Burnt-out overachiever. It’s not uncommon for me to pick up other people’s slack at work (science teacher) even if it means 14 hour days without lunch. Defining trait: “is nobody else going to do this thing that needs to be done” (doesn’t wait for an answer.)

It’s not that I … want, necessarily, to do it? If someone offers I will HAPPILY work out a fair distribution of labors. It’s just that I’m good at Seeing things that need doing. See things that could be improved. Notice gaps and Care enough to say “ah fuck it, add it to the list.” There’s just… a whole world to save and damnit if it’s not going to save itself then I guess SOMEBODY’s gotta do it.

Personality wise, my default is Little Miss Sunshine. High-energy, singing in the halls, enthusiasm x100, energizer bunny. Sometimes I joke that I’m an EduTainer more than anything else, and I will freely admit that I kill myself off trying to keep up with it all, but by god I will figure out what gets results or die trying. The trade off is that by May I‘ve burnt the candle at both ends until I’m nothing more than a stump and need a solid 2 weeks of “don’t talk to me” to recuperate functionality, and the rest of the summer to slowly rebuilt the backup battery that lets me run at 200% energy for 8 hours at a time nonstop for 300 14 year-olds.

Off the clock, I’m more into the humanities. If I have the energy for it I love painting, drawing, writing, cooking, baking, crafting, crochet, sewing, etc. 👀 Still, uh, a bit of a busy bee there too. I’m learning Spanish, French, Greek, Latin, & Japanese. The world is just….. it’s so full of magic, you know? Like I might be 17 kinds of physically and emotionally exhausted (if I sit down I might literally fall apart at the seams ngl) but how can a person sleep when there’s so MUCH out there? Places to see, things to learn, mittens and hats and brownies to make for people so they know I still love them even if I forgot to answer their text and now it’s been long enough that’s it’s awkward…. lol.

"Fine, I'll do it myself," is definitely a trait that attracts Blue. He also enjoys improving things he thinks need improving. He similarly is happy to work out an even workload, and will gladly split the work evenly with you so neither of you wind up too worn out. That way, you don't have to save the world by yourself! He's here to help!

Despite outwards appearances, Blue does occasionally struggle with genuinely being happy-- he figures if he makes other people happy, he'll be happy, too, but it doesn't always work out that way. Having someone else around that matches his energy and vivacity helps this immensely. He's also game to help grade tests or prep courses, and delights in learning what you're up to. (If he knows the coursework, he knows how to correctly help grade things!) Besides that, he's got a little more than a passing fancy in science. He pursued a career in the Royal Guard, sure, but before then, before he had to drop it to take care of his little brother, he was a science major with his sights set on a doctorate.

But, having the summer off means he gets to spoil the living daylights out of you during the nicest months of the year! He loves to be outdoors, so you can bet he'll take you to the beach, or a lake, or to go hiking, or just sightseeing. Maybe even some destination vacations! He's of a very similar mind, and is eager to learn and see everything he can! There's so many amazing things in the world, and he wants to see and do as many of them as he possibly can. He'd also gleefully learn those languages alongside you.

...And also help you when you finally do sit down and fall apart.

I'd have said Baggs initially, but I think the high energy would tire him out quickly. He'd be great in short doses, though! You're welcome to have coffee or tea with him and chat for a while.

my ocs' third year/graduated versions!

okay, so i made a post like that with avery, vance, merrill and allen some time ago, but as you know, I HAVE A LOT OF KIDS NOW and i wanted to make a new version of that post! also the way i see my first four characters have changed a little, so.. yeah.

i made them in picrew because even though i'd love to draw them myself, it would take quite a lot of time djdkkdd

avery glass.

avery gets along better with "beautiful people" now and he's also more confident and doesn't think he's that ugly himself. his hair is longer now too. he also doesn't think vil is that bad and he even kinda misses him now, considering that vil is a fourth year now and avery doesn't see him that often. he's still friends with epel though and it's not so lonely with him around. he also created his own gardening club here back when he just transferred to nrc and it's more popular now and some people don't even care if avery was a rsa student in the past. he feels more comfortable in this school now and he actually doesn't regret transferring at all. maybe he really does have those "prince charming" vibes, like other rsa students, but he would rather be friends with villains because they (or at least most of them) accept him for who he is. but allen also suggested that avery can work as his gardener after he graduates.. avery is not so sure about it for now and told allen that it sounds stupid, but he secretly doesn't think that it's a bad idea.

vance mintberry.

YES I AM GOING WITH THAT CONCEPT OF DORM LEADER!VANCE BECAUSE I LIKE IT. vance is not that chaotic and hyperactive as a third year and he's a lot more chill now and he even has his serious moments sometimes. he's definitely not as strict as riddle though and heartslabyul students are happy to have a dorm leader like him, who knows how to have fun, but also doesn't cause too much chaos. he says he doesn't like when other students refer to him as the dorm leader though and asks them to simply call him by his name instead. vance is also taller now (170 cm), however, when riley stands next to him, his growth spurt is not that noticeable and vance is a bit insecure about it dhdjdkdkfk. HE THOUGHT THEY WILL NEVER HAVE SUCH A HUGE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE! and even if they do vance wanted to be taller than riley he's still into gaming and skateboarding too and he even participated in magishift and some other sports competitions because he doesn't care what his family thinks anymore. some heartslabyul students say that vance secretly enjoys being the one in charge A LOT though..

merrill gardner.

yes i forgot his moles. it's fine he can survive without them i say that as someone who has a lot of moles on their face YES. VIL MANAGED TO CONVINCE HIM TO BECOME A MODEL. LET'S GO. it took a lot of time, but merrill agreed because vil told him that he can't let his talent go to waste just because he's still mad at his parents. yes, they were absolutely horrible people and merrill didn't deserve to be treated like this, but there's nothing wrong with him enjoying being the center of attention and being popular for his appearance (as long as he's okay with it). and merrill certainly appreciates being complimented for his other qualities, but he actually enjoys modeling a lot! he also does it out of spite because oh, his parents wanted to use his looks for money and fame? well guess what, they're not gonna get any money from him <3 he still checks on other nrc students though because he cares about them and because they're always so excited to see him again/for the first time.

and no, even though he's a professional model now, he's still into cosplay because it really does make him happy!! also imagine his fans and megu-chan's fans finding out that their idol is the same person. how funny would that be.

allen snowhill.

i think he would finally be free of lumi's magic's influence, so that's why he doesn't have white strands anymore! yes i have ideas how others would save him, but that's a story for a different post and he has long hair now!! he's thriving!! you can still often see him wearing rather warm clothes simply because he's too used to them and he would need a lot of time before he starts finding lighter clothes comfortable. his personality is also more similar to anna's now and even though he still shows his yandere self sometimes, he's more chill about it now. as long as someone loves him, he's gonna be fine <3 he's doing much better now, he's more supportive of lumi and miles' relationship and he also regrets the things he said to riley in the past, but he still doubts they'll be able to reconcile because riley himself doesn't want to do anything with him. he's okay as long as riley is happy though. he's also thinking of becoming a writer after he graduates.

roland thorn.

roland would go back to briar valley after he graduates from rsa, he's sure his parents have missed him a lot. they are quite surprised to see how much he changed, but it's a pleasant kind of surprise. roland would start living alone and he would have a nice little house with a nice little garden next to it :) he's still not so good at gardening, but. um. he's trying his best. taking care of those plants also reminds him to be kinder to himself and he definitely needs that reminder though he still hates having to deal with dirt and that kind of stuff he's not sure what he's gonna do in the future, since he has such a low self-esteem, he doubts there's anything he's good at. so yeah, he would like to focus on taking care of himself and learning to love himself right now. but he's also thinking.. maybe he should get a job that's related to fashion in some way? you know, since he's good at stuff like sewing and knitting and he also can do makeup for others he never wears makeup himself though too. maybe he should talk about it with that ramshackle prefect, he knows a lot about those things. also lilia visits him as often as he can and they have nice conversations together as they drink tea :)

also, a design note: roland would go back to wearing darker clothes after he graduates from rsa and he also would have bangs on the other side to cover his injured eye, even though he still wears an eyepatch. it's not like he doesn't like his eyepatch anymore! he just feels more comfortable with a hairstyle like this, haha. (it's actually him trying to move on from his trauma and telling himself that he's not just "a guy who had a toxic relationship with his gf and got his eye injured because of her")

fake!jay polley.

OH BOY. HE WOULD GET QUITE AN INTERESTING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IN THESE TWO YEARS. you see, being friends with allen didn't teach him anything good and jay ended up becoming a very self-centered individual who decided that if he's not real and he doesn't actually have a heart, oh well, he has to act heartless too. jay knows that he's smarter than his real counterpart, he knows he's much more talented than him and he knows that he owns real!jay's notebook, so.. he's the one who has his unique magic now. real!jay can't use it if he doesn't have his silly little notebook with him. so who's more real now, huh? and no, he's not his "evil clone", he's more interesting than jay, he's more popular than jay, he's actually his "better clone"! he's the literature club's president now too and he even has his own clique because rsa freshmen admire him that much! haha, his school life really is so fun, it's just like his creator wanted! and he wouldn't even be able to overblot no matter how often he uses his unique magic, because again, he's not real so he can't accumulate blot! he just becomes very tired after he uses his magic and he falls asleep right after he's done, so he will never overblot and that makes him the strongest magician in twisted wonderland! he will never overblot, right? right?.. he also may or may not become a yandere because of allen's influence. this guy is so used to getting what he wants because of his popularity and his unique magic, what do you mean his crush doesn't like him back?

real!jay polley.

real!jay, on the other hand, finally gets a character development that he deserves! he's still a bit shy, but he's more confident now, he looks so much better, seth really helped him get a whole glow up! he also starts wearing the uniform seth made for him back when jay just started living in ramshackle but refused to wear because "it wasn't comfortable" he actually thought he doesn't deserve to wear it and people are surprised to see how good he looks in it. his hair is also longer but he takes better care of it and it's not as messy as it was before. he sounds more polite than before and he has a more elegant vibe now, some people can't believe he was this anxious and insecure boy who refused to go outside and didn't know what grass is. he takes care of the ramshackle dorm building when seth and minnie are too busy and he doesn't find it tiring at all, he's glad to be useful to them. he also had a chance to transfer to a "real" dorm at some point, however, he decided to stay in ramshackle because he's too used to it and he doesn't think he's good enough for other dorms. the dark mirror thought of sending him to diasomnia though he's not sure about his future, but he kinda wants to stay at nrc, so.. maybe he could work here as a staff member? he still needs some time to think about it. and no, jay doesn't know anything about what his clone is doing and he believes fake!jay is living his best life.

yes, he's wearing glasses now, because that's what happens when you spend so much time working with tiny details and staying up to come up with a new invention or fix someone's broken phone. if anyone makes fun of his new look, he will punch them. he also makes jokes about having to wear glasses instead of merrill since he's a fourth year now and people almost never see him it's him trying to cope he misses him okay. austin has thought about going back home, but.. he's not ready. he wants to stay in twisted wonderland for just a little bit longer. he misses his family a lot and he's sure they're very worried about him, but he's scared. he still doesn't know if he wants to get a technology-related job just like they wanted or he wants to do what he likes and try to do something more artistic. and he's also scared that they're gonna be mad at him and they're not gonna believe him when he tells them where he's been all this time. he really wishes he could talk to someone about his problems, but he rarely sees those people now and it doesn't feel right to talk about it on the phone. and about his personality, he's a bit calmer now. he still likes to bully others and laugh at them, but he knows when to stop and he's not that serious about it. some people even think he's more like merrill now, because sometimes him teasing them can make them go 😳😳. he doesn't understand why they react like that though.

she's doing so much better now! she's much more friendly with male students now, though she can still be strict with them sometimes, but she's doing it because she cares about them :) she's very popular and she has so many simps, but sadly, they don't have a chance with her because she and sebek are officially dating! MALLEUS IS NO LONGER A NRC STUDENT SHE SAW THAT CHANCE AND SHE TOOK IT. HE CAN'T TAKE SEBEK AWAY FROM HER. her personality is a bit different too now, she's more of an onee-san type now. and yes, she can be that soft and caring onee-san AND the one that goes "ara ara~" and makes you go get a wedding ring because you're this down bad for her. she also became seth's vice prefect when she was a second year and she still is one, though she likes to joke about her being the real prefect. she doesn't mind being seth's sidekick though, she actually admires him a lot and she's grateful to him for helping her get used to this place and overcome her trust issues and daddy issues. she really wanted to go back home when she just got isekai-ed here, but now.. she's actually okay with staying in twisted wonderland? she doesn't miss anyone from her world except her mom and she really does worry about her a lot, but she's not sure if she wants to go back home just for her sake, because.. if she does, she's sure that she will end up doing all the work again and her brother won't try to help in any way. minnie loves her mom, she really does, but she's not ready to see her again.

another character who changed his appearance in some way! hayden dyed his hair so that he won't look too similar to his family members and he actually feels much more comfortable with this hair color. riley's parents pretty much adopt him because they're so happy to see that riley has such a good friend, they don't care about hayden's past at all. so now he's living with them and riley even calls hayden his big brother and that makes hayden tear up a little bit every single time. he just.. he always wanted to have a little brother, he was so tired of being the youngest child.. and don't let that cool villain-like outfit fool you, he really doesn't try to act nice to make others trust him anymore and his words are more painful now, but he also shows his poor little meow meow side much more often. yes, he likes horses. yes, he has a huge sweet tooth and the moment someone mentions desserts, he forgets about everything else. yes, he has a soft spot for riley and he will fight anyone who hurts him you heard that vance. treat this boy right he really is much happier now because his family's crimes are known and they finally got what they deserved. he doesn't have to worry about them finding him anymore. ah, what he plans to do in the future? when seth asked him that, hayden was too busy eating cake, but seth noticed a book about insects in his bag, pointed at it and went "ah, maybe something with these little guys?". hayden almost choked on his food. so.. yeah, he kinda wants to get into entomology but don't tell anyone. ALSO HE HAS HIS OWN HORSE NOW BECAUSE RILEY'S PARENTS ARE RICH AND THEY ALLOWED HIM TO HAVE ONE. HE'S LIVING HIS BEST LIFE.

so. here's a reminder that allen and riley are related. and as you know, allen is very tall. SO RILEY IS THE SAME HEIGHT AS HIM NOW. YEAH. maybe even kinda buff who knows riley doesn't seem like that character who changed a lot in these few years, but those who are close to him know that he's a whole different person now. he still does act like his kuudere self, but only with those people he doesn't know that well. his friends know that riley can be much more talkative with them and he really does have a lot to say, even if it's just him ranking scented soaps he ranks them by flavor btw. not by scent. he's still popular, in fact, he's even more popular now, but he doesn't mind it that much anymore. he's not trying to avoid his fans, but he's also not too friendly with them, he just says something like "hey, i appreciate your support, but i'm a bit busy right now, so can we hang out later?". he doesn't want to be mean, but he also wants them to respect his personal space. his simps are not as desperate as before anyway, because the fact that he's dating the heartslabyul's dorm leader makes them go "OH. OH OKAY MAYBE I SHOULDN'T FLIRT WITH HIM". about his relationship with allen.. yes, he still doesn't want to talk to him after that overblot incident. but honestly, riley thinks it's better this way, he doesn't want to become obsessed with making allen like him again. he's just glad that allen is doing much better now and he hopes his cousin will find his true happiness one day. so yeah, he's doing good :) he's not sure about his future job and when he was asked about it, he just said "as long as it's interesting, i'm good with anything".

YES THIS IS ANGEL. YEAH. they decided that they want to look more masculine now and they also wanted to have a more "responsible dorm leader" look. it's their redemption arc and they really are trying to take better care of their dorm members and they know when to stop and when those students can do something without their help. they also try to treat bunny better and they don't let her overwork herself, even though bunny doesn't call angel her friend anymore. OH and speaking of their name, they actually prefer to go by their real name now. they just don't feel like they deserve to have a nickname like that after everything they've done. they try to stay optimistic though and they believe that they can become a better person and maybe, maybe one day they will become worthy of that nickname. they also hope that their brother will forgive them for what they've done to him, but they will understand if he doesn't. hm? what they want to do in the future? uh.. being a scientist sounds fun! haha, didn't expect that one, did you? and don't worry sol they still use kaomojis when they talk even though they don't do it as often

blythe "bunny" whitney.

pretend that she has bunny ears here okay she can finally be herself now! she doesn't try to be polite, she speaks her mind and she's strict, just like minnie, but not because she loves other dorm members, she just wants them to behave for once. she can't transfer to a different dorm, so she decided that if she has to stay in speculum, they will have to listen to her and follow the rules <3 sometimes she can be.. um, a bit cruel, but at least other rsa students don't have to run away whenever they see speculum dorm members. they're still chaotic, but the moment bunny looks at them, they go "YES VICE DORM LEADER". she's not friends with angel anymore and their relationship is more professional now, but she doesn't feel sad about it at all. she feels more free now, like she's finally done something that she should've done a long time ago. and yes, people call her by her real name now. no one is allowed to use that nickname anymore.. well, except hayden. but only when she's in a good mood. and maybe fake!jay can call her that too, hehe.. what, why are you looking at her like that? but she's jealous of angel already knowing what they want to do in the future, because she's still not sure about her plans. how weird, bunny always was the one to have a plan for everything and she was more organized compared to angel..

seth delaney.

okay so, i have never mentioned this before, but seth's vision is actually not that good and he has to wear glasses when he's painting, sewing, drawing, etc. and even though seth has a pretty high self-esteem, he's very insecure about that part and he thinks he looks like a nerd when he wears them. so yes, he's actually kinda blind most of the time hjdjdkdkd. but hey, that's still impressive, considering that he can easily guess anyone's measurements and he can tell what colors would suit someone even when he's not wearing his glasses. and third year!seth would start wearing glasses all the time mostly bc rollo was worried about him and made him do it and he also would stop dyeing his hair blond, but he would still keep the purple tips. his hair is longer now too, he's just trying to accept his past and stop running away from it! don't worry, he has even more piercings and tattoos now though. seth definitely would want to spend the rest of his life in twisted wonderland, he has no reason to come back to his world. didn't the dark mirror say that "he has no home to go back to" or something like that? that's why he wants to make twisted wonderland his real home. and it feels like one, even though it has its flaws and it's not as perfect as he thought it would be. he is still the ramshackle prefect, though nrc students don't see him as often as they did when he was a first year because of him still liking rsa and nbc more. and no, even though he really wanted to change schools, he loves ramshackle dorm too much and he can't leave his dorm members! um.. his future? well, he just wants to live a peaceful life with those he loves. that's it for now.
