So as a closeted Hazbin Hotel watcher, I just watched the finale of season one! And, as you (probably don't) know, I love angst in all of it's forms, so Alastor's borderline breakdown in Finale (the song) is literal GOLD to me.

I love all of the clear emotion you can see, even with him keeping his ever present smile. The subtle yet oh so obviously cracks forming in his thin control will feed my dam against writers block for months to come. How his ears fall back against his head, which is a deer's way of showing fear (he's a deer demon), even while he talks about taking over, is a great detail. How vivziepop made the whole scene is really impactful. Alastor fighting to keep his smile and control and breaking down in spite of it is even more impactful than if Alastor had lost his smile entirely.

While I could literally rave for hours, I'll leave it at that. The finale was everything I had hoped for and better.

Is there a general consensus for what andrews scars look like?? Like obvi we know theyre on his arms but are they symmetrical lines going up his forearms?? Tell me something. Whyyyyy in the fuck does Haruka and Mu have such a fucked bond with each other?? Their bond with each other is so so soooooo hitting-your-head-repeatedly-on-the-wall worthy.

My interpretation is that Haruka and Mu have developed a sense of trust with each other, BUT since they both have their own issues, they’re reflecting these issues onto each other and have created this weird bond. And let me tell y’all something about this bond. To me, it’s an irl role-play of an online relationship, and I can explain. As I said before, they developed a sense of trust with each other but since they're both young, clueless, angsty teenagers, they don't know any better and have this bond between them that, to me, really feels like an irl roleplay of an online relationship. When you are in an online relationship, it's basically being friends but make it ✨spicy✨. A relationship play-pretend if you will, because there is no physical/emotional intimacy or quality time that comes with dating someone. It's just like being pen pals. Haruka and Mu were put in this stressful situation (Milgram), turned towards each other for comfort, and created this bond that I can best describe as "irl roleplay of e-dating." There’s no romance in this whatsoever, but idk it’s just very fucky wucky.

Also, y'know that dynamic between a guy and girl best friend duo, where the guy best friend secretly but not-so-secretly deeply cares about/is in love with the girl best friend, and so he says and does all these things that suggest "Hey I really really like and care about you" and the girl is oblivious and just considers them a really good friend?? That’s literally them but without the romance. Mu even tells Es in her second VD, and I quote, "Haruka-kun is really nice! He accepts anything I say, he listens to anything I tell him.
