I don't think so? My parents chose my birth name bc they liked the sound. My chosen name chose me lmao. I want to keep the masc version of my birth name around as second name, but I think it's less bc it's related to my old name and more bc I like the sound of it, and it makes Mama happy :>

WHAT SPORTS DO YOU PLAY/HAVE YOU PLAYED?

started out with gymnastics when i was ~6 (probably bc baby me started climbing street lights bc our trees were too smol xD), then switched to tennis due to external circumstances and stuck with it until I moved for uni. Here the distances are all much bigger so going everywhere by bike was enough daily sports (30-40km/day), but then the pandemic happened. Now i have dumbbells and a yoga mat in my room and do stretches and (body)weight things most days bc all my 'things why i need to leave the house' are 25+km away. i am ok with going 20km one way but not more than that xD

sometimes! depends on the people. i did it sooo much around my brother when i still lived at home, but these days i think it's gotten pretty rare

ANY TALENTS?

i am good at learning music by ear + play flute and piccolo very well (this is prob bc Mama taught me how to learn music at a young age). It's so nice to have One Thing I am not self conscious about, esp bc it isn't tied to money or anything. These days it comes fairly effortless and I love playing and learning new pieces, and bc my orchestra appreciates me I get to play piccolo + solo parts too. I also used to be very good at singing but i am on hrt now and idk how that's gonna develop xD

I also write stuff and draw things and I do the drawing thing professionally/plan on doing so, at least (rn it's just small things on the side and wouldn't pay the bills). But neither feels like a talent bc everyone I started out with was better at it than me when we were kids. They just stopped doing it. Idk. Success through persistence and spite... both my art and writing feel extremely average (derogatory) most of the time, but I guess we will see if i manage to succeed anyway dklldkd

anyways, you and izuku have been together for half a year now— and of course, the topic of meeting his mom was going to come up.

so when izuku excitingly asked you to meet his mom that same weekend, you were naturally excited ‼️

..but also incredibly nervous. like yeah, you still want to meet his mom— not taking up this opportunity to see his mom would be a waste

plus you were able to envision how sad izuku would look if you told him that you couldn’t meet her ☹️😔

damn him for weaponizing his boyfriend tears /j 🤬😾‼️‼️

but 😭😧 what if she doesn’t like you 😭❓❓

this is a common worry, especially when it’s in regards to meeting your significant other’s parents— but this is izuku’s mom.

yeah, she’s his mom, so you’re obviously going to worry about being liked or disliked— but you’ve heard the stories from your friends, and they all say the same thing.

“she’s quite literally— the sweetest person on earth!”

“not going to lie, she made me believe in humanity again.”

“she’s so kind!”

“i can’t believe someone so kind natured and doting like her exists.”

even bakugou had something good to say about his mom 😟 “..she’s not bad, i guess.” and that says a lot

you’ve only heard good things about his mom— and you have no doubt that it’s true, considering that izuku’s sunshine and genuine kindness in one body.

so you wouldn’t be shocked, if his mom’s also like that too 🧎‍♀️

but y’know.. if she doesn’t like you— then there means that there’s DEFINITELY something wrong with you.

if someone like her doesn’t like you— then you’re probably the devil incarnated 😨 and you’ll most likely cry yourself to sleep, if you manage to get her to dislike you. even if it’s mild

izuku knew that you were nervous about meeting his mom— that feeling’s natural. but when you told him that you’re scared that she won’t like you

he was FLOORED 😨 again, your boyfriend knows this fear is only natural— he felt the exact way when he was about to meet your parents/guardians/relatives.

but he found it especially shocking, because she literally adores you (but you have no way of finding that out— unless you actually meet her)

“what?” izuku looks at you— like you said something impossible, “don’t worry, Y/N! she likes you!” he’d dare say love, but that’d be too soon to say because you haven’t met her yet

you try to take his word for it, because izuku’s a sweetheart, you don’t doubt that he’d tell that to anyone tbh— but he also doesn’t gain anything from lying to you in a situation like this.

either way, nothing can stop that feeling of anxiety that’s bubbling in your stomach— well, not nothing. if you got your boyfriend’s mom’s approval, then that’d certainly stop it 😃👍

now you two are standing in front of his childhood home, just waiting for the door to open after izuku rang the doorbell.

izuku’s standing close to you— enough to have the side of his shoulder brushing against yours. on any normal day well it kinda is but not exactly you would’ve found that comforting, but it still feels like your heart’s about to give out thanks to anxiety 😨

and before you know it, that feeling flees you entirely— when inko midoriya in the flesh opens the door, and you’re met with probably the sweetest looking woman in all of existence.

she greets izuku first, smiling warmly before giving him a hug— then it’s almost like she quickly discards his presence entirely 💀, because she’s immediately turning to you with interest, her eyes roving all over you with excitement.

“oh, you must be Y/N!” and her smile only grows when you confirm it “i’m izuku’s mom, i feel like he’s already told you— and speaking of which, izuku has told me all about you! it’s months of information please, come in!”

and then she ushers you into her home without a second of doubt.

izuku’s cheeks are already blushed pink, realizing that his mom just subtly exposed him 😭 he hopes that the topic doesn’t come back

now, inko may look incredibly excited about meeting you (which, she is), but under all that excitement is layers of nervousness— so you are definitely not alone on that part 💀

only izuku knows that inko basically turned the house upside down when she was preparing for your visit,

by rearranging some stuff, cleaning, cooking your absolute favorite dish (she asked izuku) remaking it once— all the yards, basically. and all izuku ever tells you later on is that “oh, my mom was.. extremely nervous, you don’t even know!” 😭🧐

turns out, people were 100% correct when they said all that nice stuff about his mom 😃👍 and izuku really wasn’t kidding when he said that she likes you— even without proving yourself first we’ll get into that later

why? izuku talks a lot 😼👍

anyways, even though inko’s basically your bestie that’s 20+ years your senior now, she asks you those obligatory questions about your relationship.

they’re not bad questions, and she’s not testing you 😨 don’t get me wrong— but she’s just genuinely curious.

she ensures you that you don’t have to answer of course, but now you’re just lowkey pressured to answer 💀

“so how did you and izuku meet?”

“oh, mrs. midoriya—”

“inko, dear.”

“right, sorry— inko, i first met izuku in a pond during junior high, but i really got to know him in our first year at UA! i sat near him, so me and him had the opportunities to talk a lot.”

“oh? you guys also went to the same junior high? what are the odds! if i may ask.. what do you like about izuku?”

you freeze, “oh, i don’t mean to put any pressure on you, dear! i’m just kind of curious—”

“well, uh,” you begin, “i love everything about him, inko.”

and that was what sealed the deal for her— she’s taken a HUGE liking to you ever since izuku spoke about you, and she was left to be curious about your very existence, how you’re like, your interest, etc.

but now she totally wants you as an in-law 😃

well, when she first saw you, she was already like “omg? THIS HAS TO BE MY FUTURE IN-LAW 🤩‼️” but your answer really confirmed things for her, even if you weren’t planning to blurt out “i love everything about him, inko.”

if y’all don’t get married that’ll be a real sad thing for her 😭 so please get married lol

it takes you a second for you to realize what you just blurted out in front of izuku, and his mom 😨‼️ “oh, i— i meant— i love everything about him, yes. but there are specific things i love about him— he has his flaws just like everybody else, but i love his attention to detail, how he just cares about people indiscriminately, how he always makes sure to stay humble despite his many improvements in school, his freckles his smile, and.. yes. everything, about him.”

but she only gives you a warm smile while also lowkey jittering with happiness its a miracle that she hasn’t bursted out crying from happiness “i’m so glad that you do.” and she then gives izuku a look that screams approval and relief.

(izuku’s too busy being happy at you two chatting, to be fully focused on his own blushing cheeks he’ll ask you about your answer later)

BONUS: inko watches in silence as you and izuku wash the dishes happily. her heart gives her a nice squeeze of contentment just witnessing the scene. she also tries not to freak out (in a good way) whenever izuku blushes whenever he accidentally touches your hand in front of her💀 it’s all innocent.

in short— you and inko are besties 🤩, even before you properly realized it, and you aren’t sure as to why you were nervous in the first place 🗿 izuku’s sincerely glad that you two are getting along just fine, but he just hopes that his mom doesn’t expose him 😟

note; JDSFIABDKJSBDASB- I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF WITH MORE HEADCANONS FOR MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF MEDIA RIGHT NOW (and theres far more coming) Omg, I love John so much, like he's so goofy oml- /lh anyways, himb!! sweet boy- has done no wrong at all- totally did not die nooooo- he lives with his wife and child in happy times guys, trust me- /lh

headcanons; (cw; diapers and nursing (SFW)!!)

John is a infant/newborn regressor and his age range is 0 - 3 (it's also a chance he may regress way older to tween/teen ages, around 8 - 12)

He's mostly a massive grump, but not the tantrum type. Though he gives a lot of sass, even as a newborn (he was born with the sass tbh /j). It's mostly if he's with anyone else that isn't Abigail (or Arthur) and will make his (babbles) voice known about what he dislikes, like his usual big self

He's considered the youngest and oldest regressor. Both for being a newborn and a teen LAMO. He's mostly caught being very small, since that's what he (secretly) loves. But it's not as much as seeing him as a teen either, both very equal. He's never said it out loud, but he loves being a newborn, being curled up and safe with no worries? Hell yeah!

Speaking of being a newborn, as any infant would, John nurses. From Abigail, of course. It's his favorite time when being small, really, and it's what makes him want to regress more smaller. Being in a rocking chair and being nursed is such a delight. The thing is, is how HUNGRY John can get, but Abigail's to blame here. She's always wanting her baby full, so she gets him full, even going so far as to getting fat rolls onto John. But she loves it.

⬇️ Also, diapers! If anyone's having them on, it's John. He doesn't mind them, he just hates wearing a dirty one for long periods of time. Luckly, Momma's got his back. But she's veryyyy teasing about it too him, like "are you giving your momma another reason to clean you, mister?" or "john marson, are you getting yourself messy on purpose?" or something like that. He usually doesn't know when he goes, he just does. And it's usually while he's nursing. But he wants to be warm all over

Arthur to John is what he's always been, a big brother. For their relationship, it doesn't really change when John's small. And Arthur's always the number one babysitter for little Johnny. But he LOVES teasing, and teasing John especially. Light teasing and mocking to get John fussy is enough, or even a reaction, which he always gives. Even so, Arthur still loves his baby brother... in his own ways (John hates him, lovingly)

Dutch and Hosea are still what they were to him while he was growing up with them around. Father figure's, of course. John personally goes more towards Dutch when caretaking, but that doesn't mean he loves Hosea too. But (for me) he spent more time around Dutch growing up, so being around him brings John those fuzzy feelings again

While being small, I do think that this is the time that John really gets to bond with Jack. Even though the boy doesn't know what's going on or what this whole, regression thing is, he just shrugs it off and lets his uncles and aunts be. John is able to be more open with Jack and they get to talk about all the books Jack likes. Also, bedtime stories with Momma! She loves reading to her boys and will do so anytime they ask <3

He usually hates sleeping by himself, even though he has a whole nursery too himself. He's gotta sleep with Momma. Which she doesn't mind, but she's been trying to get him to sleep through the night in his own crib. But he still, mostly, sleeps next to her. And he even has his own bedside cribs for himself!

⬇️ (Headcanon moment!!) Hosea had done a bit of carpentry in the past, but never pursued in it properly. Later on, he decided to give it another try, and so, the first thing he made was that bedside crib for John, as well as a few toys and baby furniture here and there, and you better believe John was tearing up at the sight of it.

An example of Arthur's teasing to John is of whenever he lets himself wear anything pink or has pigtails for his hair. So, Arthur goes around and calls him 'Princess Marston' for most of that time. He doesn't care if it's in private or public, he's going to tease his baby brother. Like, "oh, please gather around for the royal entrance of princess marston!' or 'please, let the royal princess pick and choose as he pleases, he's the only royal here'

did people actually hate sahnsa or they just didn’t like her as much as arya and her stans and s*phiet took that personally?! her character is the worst written character in the show is unbelievable. a recycled cersei 2.0 and it’s all her and her ego’s fault. give dumb people some attention and they will never stop being annoying . i don’t know how but the writers were the whitest most cliched writers ever. they saw that cersei and sahnsa are dumb and get called dumb by everyone and said: yea that’s realism, that’s complex, guys they wear dresses and work through the system, they are politicians and no one hears them GUYS COMPLEXITY. meanwhile dany and arya just bc they are smart and bold and angry and do more then cersei or sahnsa ever did for ANYONE in their privileged lives in the books, were reduced to girl bosses of the show, one died bc no one loved her in contrast to amaZIng qitn, and the other didn’t care abt anything, not even being a hero who saved humanity, the connection to jon that they have in the books, pure and full of love, nonexistent obviously, and fucked away to god knows where. these two are the main female characters, the pillars on whom this story even had the grounds on when grrm started writing ?!?! how did they do this to these two??? I am glad dany stans took the show down. DESERVED. I don’t want Arya’s actress near the jonsnowshow, let them have their weird j*nsa show together with kit. s*phiet already trashed on arya and maisie..let s*phie and kit have their porn together they are so weird fr with each other. I can’t take anything seriously past s4. putting sahnsa on the center was thedowngrade. and I am glad the fans dragged it to filth. and they should drag it to filth till the books are out and u all get proved wrong. can’t believe they did this to emilia too!! arya and dany deserved better

What's funny is, that's exactly it. It's not that Sansa receives some super special, "feminine" only hatred from fandom it's just that she's not as popular as her stans (and Sophie) wanted her to be. The show did a lot to boost her importance and popularity BUT that also happened around the same time to quality of the writing started to go down. D&D were making changes as early as the first season of course, but when they decided to give Jeyne's plotline to Sansa they were officially done with adapting the books. And you know what? People noticed. They were, rightfully, calling out the poor writing of the entire show but Stansas (and Sophie 💀) took it personally because they liked the importance she was being handed. It wasn't even the writing itself that they liked because despite the increased emphasis on her character, she wasn't actually doing much in the later seasons. Along with that there were plenty of reasons to dislike how she was written. And it still didn't give her the popularity people wanted. Daenerys and Arya were, and are, still fan favorites despite how much they were flattened and warped. Stansa's just thought that she was so great that everyone would start hating Dany and Arya and fawn over their fave instead.

As for the actors, my sympathy's solely lie with Emilia. She was the one who cared the most about her character and having her accurately adapted from the books but the writer's went out of their way to destroy Dany. One of the reasons I want the books to be finished, besides the obvious, is because I want her to experience Dany getting the writing she deserves in some form at least. Arya's character was done dirty but at the time Maisie was fully on board with it (though to her credit she has since admitted that the ending was bad). You can tell Sophie was very invested in Sansa's perception (she was very much projecting on her and liked the favoritism), and she's probably the only cast member actually happy about the show ending. Kit's feelings towards the ending feel artificial and more rooted in him wanting to get his spin-off off the ground.

Tbh I do think that Sophie coming back for the spin-off is more unlikely then Maisie, just from the fact that Kit doesn't personally like Sanas's character which is pretty funny. If there's one thing we don't have to worry about it's Jonsa happening with him being involved in the writing. Not even having George on board would make me interested in whatever story they have to tell though because it has to follow that horrible show. I do love that D&D shot themselves in the foot with their writing; they got fired from the project they rushed to finish GOT for and the show is universally considered one of the worst series finales of all time 😂

hey, remember my complementary quartet au? (i really, really recommend you to check the first post before reading this, otherwise you probably won’t understand anything)

wait, what do you mean i didn’t write anything about it for two months?..

WELL. the time doesn’t matter.

so. i mentioned in the previous post that there’s a conflict between Martyn and RK at some point of the au. in this post, i’ll elaborate on that.

you see, after RK and Martyn arrive to Hermitcraft, Martyn begins to spend a lot of time with Ren. it’s not like he’s doing this intentionally, he’s just really excited to meet another version of his King! in the same time, RK and Ren don’t really like each other, to say the least. which leads to them actively avoiding one another.

which eventually results in RK and Martyn seeing each other less, as well.

but that’s not only it. at some point, RK starts to intentionally seclude himself from Martyn. don’t get him wrong, he still dislikes Ren, but… but maybe, just maybe, it will be better for Martyn to stay with him. his other version is not as traumatized as RK himself (from RK’s perspective, anyway), he lives in a peaceful place, he has a lot of friends…

RK won’t admit that Ren might be better in some ways

RK won’t admit he’s envious

he’ll just. he’ll just do what’s right. that’s what it is. nothing more.

meanwhile, Martyn really misses his King. yeah, he’s having a lot of fun with Ren, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want to spend time with RK anymore! so, he tries to reconnect with him again.

then, he notices, that RK is clearly avoiding him. Martyn feels confused. this have never happened before. so, Martyn seeks an advice…from Doc. he noticed, that he and RK became quite close recently…well, in their weird rivalry way. whatever.

Doc doesn’t know for sure what exactly is going on. after all, RK doesn’t talk much about his feelings. but he did notice, that RK cares for his Hand. so, he suggests Martyn to talk to him.

Martyn does exactly that and confronts RK.

it doesn’t go well at all. RK stubbornly insists that he is fine. Martyn stubbornly (desperately, even) tries to get him to talk. the conversation quickly becomes heated.

maybe at some point RK says something along the lines of “do ye even care to which king do ye serve?”

maybe Martyn leaves the conversation in tears, that RK won’t see.

(tbh, i have an idea for the event that could’ve been a final trigger for this conversation, but i need to ponder on this a little bit more. wait for another two months idk /j)

and so, rk-martyn argument actually initiates more rk-ren and doc-martyn interactions. let me explain.

Martyn doesn’t try to seek Doc’s help after that. it’s not because he thinks that Doc’s advice was bad, he just prefers to deal with this alone. tbh, i kinda see c!Martyn as a person who is friendly and outgoing, but prefers to keep emotional stuff to himself, so, yeah. you might say “uhhh but why he did go to Doc in the first place?”, well, at that time he was too confused with RK’s behavior.

anyway, this time, it is Doc who reaches out to him. it’s not like he’s good at emotional stuff either, but hey. he’s pretty good with fixing his redstone machines. it can’t be harder than that, right?..

in the meantime, Ren notices some changes in Martyn’s state too, even tho the latter prefers not to speak about it. even though Ren is already on this whole crown madness stuff, he can put two and two together. he has an idea of what might’ve caused it.

and he decides to confront RK about it. even though he’s still wary of his alternate version.

tbh, their conversation doesn’t change much, but it seems to be a turning point for these two. Ren finally stands up to RK, and RK starts to see that there’s more to Ren than he initially thought.

well, to be more precise, this seems to be the turning point for the whole quartet, changing the dynamic between all four. and this goes even further when empires crossover kicks in. yeah, i know that i said in the previous post that the rift doesn’t lead to empires in cq!au. sorry, i changed my mind. i just was discussing this with my friend and i thought that empires crossover might be good for cq dynamic.

i can see RK refusing to follow the compass with Doc. he still prefers not to interact with big hermits events much. so, he stays on the hermitcraft. and, as you remember, Ren didn’t join the crossover with others at first. so, i think, RK stumbles upon him at some point. and they… talk.

and then they talk more.

and maybe spend some time with each other.

honestly, i can see them warming up to each other ONLY after the end of RenTheKing’s storyline.

meanwhile, Martyn gladly joins the crossover. and, hey, remember how Doc was freaking out when he got on empires? WELL. i imagine him and Martyn sticking together during the crossover in cq!au. and Martyn, being a wanderer he is, is much more calmer in this situation then Doc. he can show to him all the wonders of an adventure like this, and they bond over this.

then, after the crossover ends, Martyn and RK talk again, and this time, their conversation is much more fruitful. in the end, the dynamic between all four becomes much more domestic and calm.

To add onto what anon said. Misha can barely speak anymore without his own fans attacking him. I swear they are worse than antis at this point. Nothing wrong with calling out Misha but jesus it’s every week now over the smallest things. Meanwhile Jared and Jensen can literally go on a homophobic rant and everyone is over it within the hour.

whilst i agree with you, i’m gonna ignore the fact that you said jensen because he wasn’t really part of that as much as it was the other guy. but i do think since then, people dislike j*red more (as we should tbh)

misha should really be just given a break. people seem to think that because he’s such a good guy, that when he makes a mistake, he’s now a terrible person. then people jump on whatever he’s done as if it was proof he was always bad. it’s really unfair. it is truly every other week now, he seems to be vilified by seemingly everyone. it’s hard to be a misha fan in this economy.

aone:

it wasn’t that he was trying to aggravate you

it’s just that he genuinely didn’t understand why you were upset and he was being dismissive without even realizing it

and that is what pushed you over

you were tired, you wanted to go to bed

and you clearly weren’t getting anywhere, so you were ready to just drop it and go to sleep, hence why you said

“why am i even trying”

aone blinked a few times as he stared down at you, those five words sending a spike to his gut. you tried to move past him, not noticing the panic in his eyes, when he shot his arm out to stop you.

you looked up at him about to complain when you noticed the intense and glassy look in his eyes. he spoke up, his voice small. “please don’t.”

you sighed, “i just don’t see the point, nobu. i’m going––”

“no.” his voice was slightly louder and shaky. “please.” he stood in front of you and placed his hands on your arms as he looked into your eyes. “please don’t leave me.”

you tilted your head, “leave y––” you shook your head, “baby, no i’m not–” you walked into his arms and he hugged you immediately, his arms holding you tight. “i’m not leaving you,” you looked up at him to find him already staring at you, holding his tears back. you placed a hand on his cheek and he nuzzled into your palm. “i was just going to bed because this argument wasn’t going anywhere. that’s why i said i don’t see the point.”

he swallowed harshly and nodded. “oh.”

you smiled sadly, “well now i can’t be mad at you anymore...”

his hands squeezed your waist, “for what it’s worth...i’m sorry, y/n.”

you leaned up for a kiss and he met you halfway. “let’s go to bed, okay?”

he nodded but made no move to let go of you––so the two of you stood there for a while, just holding each other in silence.

kyoutani:

you and kyoutani didn’t fight often...to be honest you rarely ever fought

but today...

both of you were really stressed out

you started arguing over something stupid, to be honest you couldn’t even remember what it was

it was just a way for you both to get out your frustrations in the end

but your voices started getting louder and you were getting in each other’s faces

and it became too much for you, it was just stressing you out even more

you needed fresh air

you rolled your eyes and stepped back, trying to shove past him. “you know what? why am i even trying here–”

before you could get far, kyoutani grabbed your arm, not forcefully, but enough to make you stop. you looked up and glared at him, surprised to see another emotion swirling in his eyes––sadness?

“you’re fucking joking right?” he never was good at talking through his emotions.

you scowled, his tone not helping either of your moods at all. “let me go.”

he scowled right back. “no.”

“kentaro.”

he raised a brow and stepped closer to you, “oh so we’re on a first name basis now? what, y/n?”

you clenched your jaw and looked him in the eye, taking a deep breath. “please just let me go.” your voice was small, defeated, you just needed space.

his hand loosened but he didn’t let go completely, seemingly battling with himself in his mind. “no...i can’t. i won’t let you leave me.”

so that’s why he was upset?

you frowned up at him. “taro. i’m just going for some fresh air. i’m not leaving you.”

he let go of you and stood straight, his lips parted. “oh.” he clenched his jaw and looked down, suddenly embarrassed by his reaction. you grabbed his hand and started walking towards the door. “what are you doing?”

you looked back at him, eyes no longer blazing, but instead, warm and loving. “we are going to get some fresh air. together.”

he looked down, suddenly shy, but kept walking with you. “okay.”

oikawa:

oikawa had a bad day and he was more irritable than usual

tbh he was being kinda rude unintentionally

you were eating dinner across from each other and you were trying to talk about how your days were, not having spoken to each other much due to your busy schedules

but he wasn’t in the mood for talking and was just answering you with hums and giving you one word responses

after a while you got annoyed and honestly felt a little hurt

so you sighed and rolled your eyes, getting up from the table to go refill your water, mumbling to yourself more than anything

“why am i even trying”

it wasn’t until you said that that oikawa looked up from his plate, eyes wide, heart beating loudly in his chest. “wait what––”

you were already in the kitchen by the time he looked up and he urgently got out of his seat, almost knocking down his glass and you turned around at the clatter, surprised to see him basically speed-walking towards you.

“oh now you pay attention to me?” you went to sip your water when he pulled it out of your hands and set it on the counter, ignoring your “hey!-” in protest.

his eyes were frantic as he looked at you, “look baby i’m sorry i just i had a really shitty day today but––”

you sighed and looked to the side. “and i get that tooru, but that doesn’t give you the right to be a dick, i mean it feels like we haven’t had time to ourselves this week at all...”

he pouted and took your face into his hands, “i know baby and i’m sorry, i haven’t been trying as much as i could have been. but i promise i’ll do better, okay? i know i don’t deserve it but please tell me you’ll keep trying too?” his eyes were suddenly filled with tears and you looked at him in shock.

“hey–what’s wrong?”

he pressed his forehead against yours and let out a shaky breath. “i just don’t want you to leave me––please don’t. i don’t know what i’d do without you––”

you pulled away as much as he’d let you to look into his eyes. “woah baby what––i’m not leaving you? sure i was frustrated, but i wasn’t going to break up with you.”

his eyes widened, “really?”

you nodded. “really, tooru i promise.” just from the vulnerable look in his eyes you felt like you could cry as well. you kissed his cheek, “i’m not going anywhere.”

he sighed, relieved and pulled you into a hug, mumbling his next words into your shoulder. “i love you.”

ushijima:

ushi could be really blunt and straightforward

and sometimes had a tendency to brush things off, not understanding the big deal

today you were trying to get him understand something that happened at work, someone pissed you off and it really put you in a bad mood for the whole day

and ushi was always there to talk through things with you at night when you got home

but today, he really couldn’t see why you were upset––or rather, why you let it affect you so much, he didn’t see the point

and it felt like he wasn’t listening to you

(granted, you were a little strung up already)

you didn’t want to deal with people anymore so you brushed past him and went to take a shower, grumbling “why am i even trying”

as soon as you uttered those words, ushijima paused, unsure what to even think. you didn’t mean the relationship did you? surely, he thought about how you’d had a bad day, how you were frustrated and maybe you were just saying that in regards to your frustrations...but part of him wasn’t sure. you seemed rather annoyed during the conversation much to his disliking.

unfortunately, he wasn’t able to ask you about it because as soon as he turned around, you were already locked in the bathroom. he sat anxiously at the edge of the bed, his elbows on his knees, hands clasped as he waited for you. you were taking your sweet time, no doubt relaxing and decompressing, which he understood, but it was only furthering his worry about the situation.

it was a good while later that you’d finally gotten out of the shower, steam exiting the bathroom as you opened the door. you hadn’t even noticed ushijima sitting across from you as you got out, still focused on your thoughts, trying to calm down.

you put your night shirt on along with some sweats, which was immediately a bad sign to him, you almost always slept in one of his shirts, and he loved that about you.

only when you got on the bed did he speak up, clearly tense as he got your attention. “love...”

you turned and he swallowed thickly, suddenly nervous. “when you said...” he paused, looking down at his hands before looking into your eyes, clenching his jaw almost in pain. “are you giving up on us?”

you frowned immediately, “what?”

“you...you said ‘why am i even trying’ and stormed off...did i do something? are you not happy?”

your mouth dropped open in shock, the frustration coursing through your body now replaced with disbelief and sadness. you moved closer to him and put one hand on his cheek, the other other on his shoulder as you looked into his eyes. “what? baby no, i was just annoyed and our conversation wasn’t really helping but it wasn’t your fault! i just needed some time to think to myself, i’m sorry. this whole time you thought i wanted to end things?”

he nodded once and your frown deepened. “baby i would never,” you paused and pulled him close for a sweet kiss.

his hands came up to hold your waist and you melted into him, the kiss clearly soothing his worries. the look of relief and love in his eyes was clear as day when you pulled away to catch his eye.

“i promise i am happiest with you. i’m not going anywhere, unless you were planning on leaving any time s––”

his hands gripped your waist tighter, a fierce look appearing in his eyes. “no. you’re it for me.”

you smiled, feeling something burst in your chest and gave him another kiss. “i love you.”

his hands made their way under your shirt and you hummed, pulling away to stop him. “baby i’m kinda tired today.”

he shook his head, a light blush on his cheeks . “i know. i just prefer when you wear my shirts.”

you smiled and moved your hands away, “oh, okay. then go ahead.”

he smiled back, “thank you.”

Veronica is an iconic character that deserved better from Riverdale and I think Cami does a good job with the sometimes (mostly) awful dialogue she gets. At first I was so excited for Latina Veronica but I truly dislike how they made her family part of the mafia (because that’s not stereotypical at all), that and making all her story lines revolve around a man (that being Archie, Hiram or Chad) and truly, Cami deserves better treatment and the amount of hate she gets from BAs for breathing and just as much as show support for Veronica or VA is awful and disgusting. I see it all the time. The hate towards Cami is insane. I need a Veronica focused episode that speaks about HER but at this point I see it unlikely which is sad.

it's honestly infuriating that we got an entire background episode of what happened to archie and jughead over the jump but veronica almost dies in a helicopter crash? betty spent two weeks in the murder hole? and we get nothing on that?

*breathes in slowly and exhales*

that's not even touching the stereotypes which are ridiculous.

i would love to have seen more of veronica's life in new york before she moved to riverdale or more of her life after high school (all of the women, tbh). and not having it connected to any of the men in her life so it ultimately serves their story and not hers would have been even better.

my kingdom for an after high school story of betty and veronica working things out or something, crossing each other's paths? i am not that picky, i swear, roberto. 🥺

the cami hate is gross and really telling since they tried to drag her for a personal preference and then acted like kj was trying to troll people. as if kj cares enough about any of it to bother to mess with people. 😭

BAs love or hate characters according to convenience , they suddenly LOVE Jughead because he is having scenes with Archie and finally being "a good friend" when Jughead has been the only solid friend between the two. They LOVE him because he is currently not having scenes with Betty that suggests anything romantic when just 3 episodes ago they were mocking his hearing issue and calling him a bad friend as if he isn’t the reason BA is even alive after the bomb. But watch them do a switch up when BH inevitably get the investigation story line and spent time together.

—archie, god love him, has been a terrible friend to jughead. i saw that they were trying to say jughead was a bad friend about fred and it's like, oh okay. so you didn't watch those episodes?? at least watch clips before opening your mouth.

they were gross about his hearing loss, ugh. and yeah, they're going to act up once it's betty and jughead investigating without archie. especially if archie is working with veronica or the b/a scenes keep going the way they're going.

They also LOVE Tabitha but as an accessory for Jug. This is the same fandom that has been whining about how next weeks episode is going to be all about her and probably won’t feature any BA scenes. And of course they’ll use any opportunity replace Veronica with Tabitha. They just hate Veronica because she’s a threat. I can’t wait for J*bitha to be over to see what’s going to happen, if she going to be the new part of core 4 of Riverdale or since she’s not longer useful they’ll stop rooting for her? The answer if the second because I have never seen a BA talking about Tabitha as an individual.

—they've (and jug stans) have given me so much shit for being like, hey, what's tabitha up to when she's not orbiting jughead? like that's somehow a messed up take to them? to want a character to be more than the man she's attached to? that's the hill they're willing to die on? okay. that's fine. i want that for all of the female characters, it's really that simple for me so if it's wrong to them, whatever.

yeah, i saw some of the stuff they said about the tabitha focused episode since they thought it was going to be a big b/a ep. their struggle to reconcile wanting the big love scene/confession they decided they were getting with not being "problematic" in the way they've been accusing others this whole time was real.

Kaneki fanon?

(gonna preface this by saying that this is all my opinions about fanon and if you hold these beliefs, I don't want you to stop holding them because I (young adult on the internet) think they're not my cup of tea!)

Ok, Kaneki, Kaneki, Kaneki, where do we start? Also when I do discuss plot, I'm going to be talking about it more in terms of the manga, because that's just what I'm more familiar with. Also a lot of this is in jest.

I think the biggest thing that irks me about Kaneki fanon/just fandom in general is just the way everyone treats him like he went into "hard mode" after he was tortured by Jason. Whilst it's true that Kaneki tried to repress his emotions and forced himself to become emotionally stoic following his torture (presumably so that he could protect others such as Hinami and Banjou, as well as fortify himself for the task of tracking down Rize and finding more information about the accident), treating him like he became some super-sadist daddy bigdick just doesn't sit right with me. To me, Kaneki shut himself down as a coping mechanism because on top of the trauma of his "accident" and surgery, but it didn't make him any less of a vulnerable, weak person than before. Sure, he gets physically stronger and learns to control his Kagune, but under the surface he's emotionally unstable and probably wracked with anxiety and doubt. He was thrust straight into the underbelly of a world he already didn't know anything about, and to make it worse, not three months after his rude awakening, he experienced one of the most traumatising things one in his situation could go through. He's extremely fragile and easy to break, he's selfish and twisted, desperate to keep those close to him right where he can see and protect them. That man is getting zero bitches, the only thing he's fucking his own damn mental health /j.

Also on the topic of people who find him hot, man's 5'5". For reference, I'm 5'3", so yes I'm mocking him for his height but you can mock me right back. This man is a five foot pocket rocket of depression and anxiety and a lot of y'all simping for him are probably a good couple of inches taller than him. I could pick him up and throw him and I'm the shortest person I know.

Another thing I really don't like, more from just a petty pov is the fandom deciding that Haise is the Qs' "mum". This is going to be the pettiest thing I've ever said but I hate it when fictional men who look after other characters in the group are immediately categorised as mothers (for example, Bruno Buccellati from JJBA). I think my main reason for disliking this is just, hey, dads can be equally as great! It's a nitpick that really just rubs me the wrong way and perpetuates the stereotype that men/masc presenting people can't be good, caring or meaningful partners in the same ways that women/feminine presenting people can be, and thus must be labelled as mothers. Overall it pisses me of because YES there are plenty of shitty and abusive dads but there are just as many awful abusive mums out there.

Tbh, I don't really like Kaneki because I prefer my protagonists to be coherently written and to not have their character development designated by how many times they get stabbed, so I probably don't have the most reliable interpretations of Kaneki fanon. I love Haise though, best father every 10/10 that's a good man right there.

Hello. Tbh I’m kinda picky with books, not as much as with fanfiction lol but still I can’t enjoy some popular books ppl love. I don’t like long sagas for example, I get bored with fantasy in general and I dislike very wordy books with looong descriptions of the smallest details of the characters’ clothes and food. I couldn’t read the A Song Of Ice And Fire books because of this.

I do like a wordy writer like Charles Dickens though. Not all his books cause some are really too victorian bordering on annoying, but I really liked A Tale of Two Cities and Our Mutual Friend. I read a lot of classics tbh especially as a teenager, as I discovered fandoms and fanfics later. I liked Jane Austen, she has a brilliant style, very ironic and not cheesy despite the sentimental theme. I also liked old gothic novels, they have some dark imagery, like Maturin’s Melmoth The Wanderer, Byron’s Manfred, M.G. Lewis’ The Monk. It was my final essay in school, even. All these novels would be ‘wrong’ by fandom bullshit moralism btw.

But that was my teenage literature phase, I think fondly of those books because of nostalgia, mostly, because I changed my taste for less plot oriented and more philosophical, abstract, surreal books. I also like short stories or short novels more than long stuff. The surreal and the fantastic work better with short stories imo.

A writer I liked as a teenager and like even now though is H. Hesse. He created a beautiful atmosphere in his books, like, you can literally feel the sun and trees and birds chirping, an at the same time they’re angsty. Especially Narcissus and Goldmund; I reread it recently and it’s even better than I remembered, it also had a strong gay vibe which doesn’t hurt lol. Or Demian, male friendship, kinda gay, very philosophical, and The Glass Bead Game and his short stories too. Also he was vegetarian, it’s a plus for me.

My favourite writer is J. L. Borges, I love how he creates fictional reviews of nonexistent books that he mixes with existent philosophers and writers, so when you read his short stories you are juggling between reality and fiction, reading fake academic works or you’re sinking in a story with a thin but amazing plot line where dream and reality are fused together, and reality is completely subjective. His concept of time is not linear, he’s from Argentina and he describes this amazing mix of cultures and influences, everything he writes is a masterpiece that you can feel it, elevates your mind. Genius. Especially The Lottery in Babylon (for me it’s also a metaphor of reincarnation) Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius , The Garden of Forking Paths (amazing, simply amazing) Funes the Memorious (this story and its theme is still haunting me tbh) and The Circular Ruins, I have no words to describe how much I love it.

I also love two Italian writers very much. I. Calvino, surreal, abstract, amazing. I highly recommend him to everyone cause he has been translated a lot in English speaking countries, like Invisible Cities, The Castle of Crossed Destinies (tarot lovers would like this one), If on a winter's night a traveler (all book lovers should read it).

D. Buzzati is amazing too, his short stories might be set in urban Italy but also in a nonspecified ancient Central Asia-ish spaces, with its vastity and mysterious (for us) culture, from Samarkand to the steppes. His writing is laconic, essential, but shows you everything you need to see and feel. His novel The Tartar Steppe is poetic and metaphoric, his short stories often deal with the mystery of death, in the same poetic metaphoric way. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything in English online, but I really recommend The Seven Messengers, it was the first story I read from him and still a favourite.

I also like M. Bulgakov very much, like Master and Margarita is such a cool book and so is Heart of a Dog. So much sarcasm, I love them.

I was too long maybe, recommending books. You asked if these books I love influenced my writing, I wish they did lol. As I write dark themes but I stopped reading that darkish stuff I can’t say they influenced me much. Anyway my writing style is quite essential and to the point, not only because English is not my mothertongue but also because of the writers I like.

I was slightly inspired by Borges’ The Circular Ruins for In Dreams, not directly but for certain themes related to subjective reality, and I quoted The Garden of the Forking Paths for Itachi’s pre-massacre state of mind in Victims of Peace.

I was slightly inspired by Hesse’s Narcissus and Goldmund for the setting (Northern European late Middle Ages) of a non-Naruto darkfic I wrote.

I think there might be more but I’m probably not aware of it.

Would I get on with them? - CSI

Starting this series with CSI characters since I'm most into the show right now.

Hopping into it under the cut! (Not proof read at all)

Gil Grissom

Ok, I don't think this man would hate me in the slightest but he'd take a sec to warm up to me. We know the man has loads of random knowledge in his brain and so do I but I sometimes just spurt it out at the most random times and most of the knowledge doesn't make sense. We wouldn't hang out at all but I feel like we could eat lunch in the breakroom together and it wouldn't be awkward at all? We could also do a car journey together and it'd be silent most of the way until one of us eventually broke the silence. The silence wouldn't have been awkward though it would just be natural, both in our brains thinking things over? I get the vibe he'd welcome me into the team pretty well and would defend me to others but also would be disappointed when I fuck up. I think our vibes are slightly the same so we'd get on and have a weird friendship but not going on. TBH he'd probably treat me very similar to how he treats Greg but slightly nicer. In summary I would get on with him but not in a best friend kind of way.

Catherine Willows

I get the vibe she'd like me and would find me funny in a way with the awful jokes I tell but instead of finding the jokes funny she'd just find me and my awkwardness funny? However, she would not let me fuck up and would go in on me bad if I did if I was in the first couple of years being a CSI but after our friendship grew a little she'd be a lot more forgiving. We'd probably get to a friendship point of being able to have a meal together or a drink together but we would never plan it? It'd only happen say after a shift on a whim together. We'd be close but not best friends knowing absolutely every aspect of each other's lives. All in all Catherine has good vibes and I think we'd get on. I'd want to be her friend and learn from her. We'd be able to throw banter around and we'd be able to work well together. She'd probably see me as more of a 'family member' than a friend if you get my drift?

Sara Sidle

I love Sara but I do not think we'd get on at first. I think she'd dislike how shy I was and how long it takes me to warm up to everyone. My main way of bonding or working with people initially is kinda through humour to test the waters and I know she wouldn't like that at first. However, I think after her initial dislike for me for the first couple of cases or weeks or whatever I think she'd realise we actually work well together on cases and compliment each other with our working style? Then she'd slowly be more friendly and jokey with me and open up herself. We'd take a long time to be close friends with each other and I think the only way our friendship would grow is because of our friendship with others in the team. So would I get on with Sara? Not initially but let's say after like 6 months we might have lunch together. I do admire her and her work but... yeah I think we might be a bit too similar in some ways. I think eventually after we build up trust and a mutual understanding we'd then be friends and do things together outside of work (but it doesn't happen often because she'd invested in her work)

Warrick Brown

Now this is hard to say. I think initially he'd try to be open and welcoming but would have a little too much going on to care but would banter with me if we came across each other. He's serious on the job but a lil hot headed, I mean I'm the same but I tend to internalise it and not speak out about problems and might just cry about them? He'd probably try and argue a point and even if I agreed I would probably not say something if I was still new to the team and he'd probably get mad at me for it. However, I think I might break through with him with my humour or something really random or like a random fact which is so bizzare he's like 'who the fuck is she?' and laughs it off and enjoys it. I feel like we'd eventually be friends but not in a way to talk about our lives irl more like if we've had a long shift and need to pull a double and haven't stopped for food he'd throw a sandwich or coffee at me. So friends in a caring or sibling like way y'know? Banter but not completely open with each other but we know little facts here and there. We'd hold mutual friends and that'd what probably aids the friendship. So would I get on with him? Initially no fucking way but after a hot sec yeah.

Nick Stokes

Here he is, here's our boi. Now yes I may be bias here because I do like Nick but I genuinely think we'd get on because we're both kinda emotionally softies on the inside. However, initially he might get frustrated at how closed off I am and awkward when he tried to speak to me, giving short answers etc. But once I crack some awkward and nervous jokes he'd realise how nervous I am and try and get through to me in that way with jokes and banter. I think he'd actually help if I fucked something up or missed something and would point it out in a nice way compared to how someone like Sara would. I think he'd open up to me randomly? Also I feel we could chat shit randomly to each other y'know? I think we'd be in a weird friends stage for a long time and then it would get to best friend territory? Y'know? Going to see movies or hanging out outside of work. Also hard cases we'd support each other. I think my friendship with Nick would be the thing that helps my friendship with Warrick for sure and aids with Sara. So would we get on? Yeah we would and he'd question why Sara and I don't.

Greg Sanders

He's chaos. I can be chaos. He'd appreciate my jokes and would banter back. Would be on the same wave length a lot of the time I think. I think I'd be the more chill version of him in some ways? Idk. I think we'd be friends and he'd be the person I build a friendship with the fastest. Like I think it would be he and I friends first, then Nick and I, Catherine and I then the others after. He'd obviously try to flirt with me because it's Greg but he'd respect me? We'd probably go for coffee a lot and he'd want to give me a tour of Vegas or some shit if I hadn't been there long. He'd probably get frustrated though at how chill I can be sometimes but would enjoy the fact that I was also friends with Nick and if all three of us were put on a case? Well that would be funny and would make a great episode. Don't get me wrong though we'd work well together. So would we get on? Hell yeah!

David Hodges

I don't think he'd dislike me but he wouldn't entirely like me either but he'd have a respect for me? I'd tolerate him and would joke with him though but I wouldn't say we'd be close friends or anything. Once he finds out I also like Galaxy Quest (idk I like Star trek irl so I'd probably like galaxy quest) we'd talk about it occasionally and might go to a convention together if we had no one else. So would we get on? Slightly, we'd tolerate each other and make friendly conversation.

Henry Andrews

I think we could have a laugh and a joke and that's it. I'd probably want to be his friend more than I do Hodges but we're both very awkward but we'd have a respect and understanding for each other. I would go to his birthday celebration if I was asked too. So would we get on? Yeah...

Eh I think we'd just have a basic friendship and very much colleague relationship. I don't think he'd appreciate my humour at all and would just want to do his job. But if I was with someone else on the team or if Doc Robbins was also there he'd be a bit more friendly? Oooh yeah the first time I was playing as a female mc because I wanted to romance ava and I usually go male mc if I want to romance a man and female mc if I want to romance a woman (and I think there was one book with where mc could be non-binary so I picked that one but I didn't finished the book), and Stacy's brother felt Hetero™ in a way, like Hollywood ish (? ur valid! that's lowkey what i wish i'd do (picking female MC if my fave LI is female and the other way around, i mean) but unfortunately i always go into the stories blindly having no idea what i'll find </3 so i cant really do that doiajdiosa and then i get attached for the MC i picked so i feel bad about changing their gender/name/appearance when i replay. so what i usually do is that i pick a male MC when i get the option because A- u don't always get the option, so i end up being male half the time and female half the time either way; and B- i feel slightly more comfortable with a male identity than a female one. like i'm still nonbinary and i wouldn't consider myself male aligned or within the gender of Man, but like... when i first came out i went by any pronouns but then because im afab everyone was like "cool, she/her only it is" so i was like fuck that and stopped using she/her. so i feel slightly more comfortable with a masc MC and end up going with that

also there's a book where an MC can be enby? worm? ive only ever read one book in choices with any enby characters at all (america's most elligible, books 2-3) but they weren't even a LI which is disappointing cuz they were a billion times superior to any of the LIs. sorry america's most elligible LIs fans

also oh connor IS the epitome of white cistraight man even when u play as a man tbh, like he was just so cistraight to me daouhdsaojdasij he kind of annoys me but also i forget that he even exists until he shows up onscreen and choices starts trying to push me into his lap and i'm just like, ugh, not again

and yeah i think i feel a similar way about stacy. i don't dislike her as a character and i don't feel like she as a character felt flat, her growth was very interesting and i loved seeing her start to challenge her mom like YESSS GO GIRL GIVE US EVERYTHING, she just felt flat as a LI to me ig? like idk i didn't feel chemistry between her and my MC personally, but also like, stacy girls are valid u know

right exactly. like i don't think ppl really understand that a school that doesn't drive people to cry during finals week and feel absolutely crushed by having to be there and that makes ppl feel like they're stupid, not enough, and overwhelmed IS IN FACT POSSIBLE and actually pretty easy to make when we stop treating students like statistics that will get the school more clients/funding (depending on whether it's a private or public school). and like as a teacher getting my degree in brasil it just feels completely surreal to me that anyone would see a student who's so overwhelmed by the amount of extracurriculars and responsibilities he feels like he has to take that he starts taking drugs to help his performance despite it affecting his health, and see that as like... something morally reprehensible? like it is bad that it happened but it's not the student's fault, what's morally reprehensible are the circumstances that led to his decision, not his decision

and like it is very much a systemic problem, more and more kids are taking focus pills to be able to survive the pressure of school and have a shot at a future, either on their own or because we are actually medicalizing not existing to be productive. and if it's a systemic problem then the fault is at the system?? and like holy shit i legit don't understand why choices gave us options like being like "it still isn't enough" when lucas gets rid of his pills, what do you mean it isn't enough??? enough for what??? to FORGIVE him???? for something that only hurt himself??? for something that is very much a systemic problem and therefore NOT HIS FAULT????? literally what the fuck even is this, lucas doesn't have to "make up" for a single thing, he needs to be HELPED is what he needs

like idk i know that the school system in the US is...... extremely backwards lmao which is not a term i like to use because it usually implies imperialistic views but the US is the height of world imperialism so like actually idc. brasil has a pretty progressive constitution and as a teacher my whole education was focused on being critical of the school system, particularly the productivity obsession, and drilling into us again and again that we aren't supposed to just be teaching subjects, we are also supposed to be teaching how to be a citizen, be a critical human being, work towards building a better future, and learning and growing AS A PERSON to be healthy and happy are values of the school system

like that's easier said than done when schools are under insane amounts of pressure by companies in practice to be productivity-driven, and most teachers who actually want to do a good job end up having to live at the edge of the knife and constantly fighting back outside pressure, but at least it is very much a mandatory part of our education to become teachers and also like literally part of the constitution. so i just... i can't fathom reacting the way mr cooper did? like as a teacher i felt BETRAYED, i felt like he shat all over my profession because that is the opposite of what we should be doing, this is a kid who needs help

and just like hOLY SHIT HE DID NOTHING WRONG, what are you punishing him for??? it's not even a like, stealing bread to feed your family situation, because what he did HAS NO VICTIM OTHER THAN HIMSELF, and therefore HE IS THE VICTIM NOT THE CULPRIT. he doesn't have to repent or atone or answer for a single fucking thing, he didn't victimize others, he doesn't have to apologize, there's nothing to punish him fOR??? like i don't believe in punishment anyway cuz im a prison abolitionist but doDAUSDJADASIJDAS???????????? it's like saying that someone needs to be forgiven for self harming????? like how is it that someone has been hurt continuously until it led them to hurt themselves and then they have to? make up for it to a bunch of other ppl? my god it makes me so mad and i genuinely don't understand the logic, like usually when i see someone doing fucked up shit i can see the logic but i don't agree with it, but this time i genuinely DON'T SEE THE LOGIC. my USan friends said it was because he was technically doing drugs but like i legit still don't understand

anyway any school that drives a student to do something like that needs to rethink their entire curriculum and the psychological effect it's having on kids, because lucas is 1- not even the first one according to mr cooper; 2- even if he was, that'd be the only one who got CAUGHT; and 3- even if there was really only one singular student who went tHIS far, i doubt the others weren't feeling that same pressure and dealing with it in other similarly unhealthy ways

i know that's probably easier in brasil than in the US even if it's by no means easy here because here at least in public schools the curriculum and political-pedagogical plan has to be agreed on by the school community (teachers, parents, students, workers, and anyone who lives in the area of the school) and it's updated every year, so like, you have more means to do something to change the school in a deeper way, altho of course that still has to mean swinging the rest of the community, but still. but at the very least he could have looked for counseling for him? tried to find a way to take some of the workload off his shoulders? given him some more time on assignments? motioning for all the clubs he was the president of to have co-presidents so he was less overwhelmed?

like there was just daodsao he could have done so many things and he justs DIDN'T he chose to not only punish him instead but quite literally THREATEN HIM WITH DEATH because that's what calling the police on a latino student over a drug charge is. like he might've survived but the possibility that he would fucking DIE was very much there, and i know choices didn't think of that because they'd rather die than think about the racial implications of anything but holy fucking shit. and im not even getting into how mr cooper is BLACK because then ill just start biting people like thanks for putting that threat on a black character's mouth choices. if u need me ill be foaming at the mouth

anyway SORRY god why is it that i always get to the salty part within 2 seconds of joining a fandom i promise that i actually like it lives and the way they handled most of their plot, i genuinely think it's a very well written and actually worth ur time story but i just doadosaida like i said particularly as a teacher in the context where i'm being taught, plus with all my political beliefs, i just can't let it go aaaa
