As sad as I am that it doesn’t look like we’re going to get many details on her crime, you’re right, this is all about her motivations and mindset!! I really love this perspective on her -- it’s so interesting that she feels above everyone (not just the guilties). I thought I understood her character before, but this added a new layer to how strict her sense of justice is. Her parallels with Fuuta have always made me so so crazy, the listing off everyone reminded me of the part in Braze You where Fuuta is just going through the cast and saying why the other prisoners suck and he can’t rely on them 😅 I know this is gonna suck vote-wise for Kotoko but I’m really glad we got to see this side of her. After the knee-jerk shock wears off, it definitely makes me more sympathetic to her seeing how black-and-white she thinks, the painful responsibility she’s burdened herself with, and how lonely she must be…

You don’t even know how much I’m hoping they’re all there (both for au fun but also for my own personal wishes!) It’ll probably be something low-key like Backdraft, but I can only hope they’ll make prominent appearances ;-; It does make for a perfect “finale” number! Even if it’s an aggressive song I think they’d have a lot fun filming together knowing it’s mostly all act. A courtroom would be so cool >:0 She went to law school, and the door art fits it well. Judge Kotoko would be so awesome ough. I’m hoping to see her in the warden uniform at some point…

January OTP Prompts

I think this might be my least favorite one I've written so far, but I actually wrote it so I'm calling it a win anyway.

Warnings for mention / descriptions of blood (Fictional!Matty accidentally cuts himself chopping vegetables) and a reference made to a past suicide attempt

4. Bright red

“Fuck!” Matty swore. He dropped the paring knife, and it clattered to the counter, then slipped off the cutting board and landed with a clang on the hardwood floor. “Shit,” he continued, tears welling in his eyes as he tucked his bleeding hand to his chest. He didn’t care that he was staining his white tee shirt with the fresh bright red blood that welled from the slice in the webbing between his thumb and pointer finger.

“What’s wrong?” George asked, spinning around from the stove, his eyes widening at the commotion, at the bright red splatters on Matty’s white quartz countertop.

“I nicked myself,” Matty said, purposely not looking at the blood on the counter, he knew it wasn’t a bad cut but the shock of the sting had caused him to recoil in pain and surprise. Matty had always been squeamish and now even just looking at his own blood was making him feel light headed. He squeezed his eyes shut and tried to focus on breathing, a steady inhale and exhale. His hand felt like it had a pulse of its own now, throbbing painfully as his heart pumped more and more blood out of his body.

“Let me see,” said George, stepping into Matty’s space and carefully pulling his hand away from his body, wincing at the blood staining his shirt, dripping down Matty’s hand. “Fuck,” said George, grabbing a wad of paper towels and pressing down on the cut, trying to stop the bleeding.

“Is it bad? I didn’t think it was that bad?! Is it bad?!” Matty asked, the pain making him feel frantic, he didn’t want to look, he couldn’t look for himself. He tried to focus on the counter behind George, instead of the bright red splotch growing larger on the paper towel as he continued to bleed. They were going to have to throw away the bell pepper he had been slicing for the stir fry he thought hysterically, he had bled all over the vegetable.

“It looked pretty deep,” said George, his voice sounding far away as Matty’s vision tunneled. He was no longer thirty four years old, standing in the kitchen with the love of his life, but sixteen in the bathtub, hands shaking as he tried and failed to end it all, bright red staining the white porcelain. His parents hard ripped out the tile in the bathroom after, replacing the bathtub with just a shower.

“What does that fucking mean?” Matty asked, he needed to stop looking at the blood on the counter, but his vision felt spotty, and George’s worried face wasn’t providing any sort of comfort.

“It means you might need stitches,” George said, “or to have it glued back together or something, I’m not sure I’m not a doctor.”

“What about dinner?” Matty asked, his voice wavering.

“We’ll get takeaway on the way back,” said George softly, putting his hand on Matty’s lower back to shepard him to the car. He paused, leaving Matty standing in the hallway to run back to the kitchen and turn off the stove.

“I’m sorry,” said Matty, still feeling woozy as he climbed into the passenger seat of his Audi. George pressed a kiss to his forehead.

“Accidents happen love,” he said softly, “let's just go get you all patched up.”

The woods west from Pinegrove are old and quiet. Grand, imposing spruces reach for the sky, and their thick branches wrap the forest in a calm dusk. Moss and lichen have made the forest a home for themselves and for numerous animals.

On the forest floor there is also a stationary figure, one which could easily be mistaken for a human who has sat down next to a tree for some rest. If someone actually stumbled upon it, though, they would quickly notice that the figure isn’t a human, or any kind of living and breathing creature at all, but merely an artificial construct built from metal and wood.

One could imagine it’s sleeping, or maybe think it a statue, if not for the intelligent glow of the two eyes in its expressionless face.

[SYSTEM FAILURE: LOWER LIMBS]

[SYSTEM FAILURE: UPPER LIMBS]

[SYSTEM FAILURE: CORE]

A small squirrel in search for food runs over One’s legs, but because a system failure prevents One from moving its libs, it can do nothing but watch. Not that One would do anything about it anyways – the creatures of the forest, small and big alike, are beautiful to it. They don’t think of One, completely motionless as it is, as a threat. They don’t even treat it with curiosity anymore. One is just one part of the forest, as silent as the milk-caps and brittlegills growing between the spruces.

One has been sitting in the forest for –

[SYSTEM FAILURE: MEMORY UNIT]

– some time now.

It waits patiently for someone to come and bring it back home. Due to a damaged memory unit One doesn’t know how it ended up in the forest, but it knows that someone is coming. Either Gege himself, or maybe more likely Two or Three at Gege’s command. Request.

Gege never actually commands, not even though One and Two and Three are technically speaking made to obey his wishes. The only one Gege orders around is Philip, and even that is a rare thing. Gege is –

[SYSTEM FAILURE: MEMORY UNIT]

One tilts its head curiously. The neck is the only part of it that can still move.

One is confused. It knows it’s waiting for someone. Or multiple someones. But it can’t conjure a single name or figure from the depths of its artificial mind.

[SYSTEM FAILURE: LOGIC CENTER]

Home. A busy workshop. Clanking, nuts and bolts in need of tightening, spells muttered under one’s breath, and a cup after a cup filled with hot liquid. One, and two others. And two of a different kind. Living, breathing. Laughter and friendly debates. Long nights filled with endless work.

[SYSTEM FAILURE: MEMORY UNIT]

One looks at the forest around it. It watches the growing trees, the polypores appearing on their trunks. It would count days if the system failure in its logic center wouldn’t stop it in its tracks.

A family of wood mice makes a nest inside its chest. It doesn’t mind, it’s nice to be helpful. One can serve as a shelter while it waits for –

[SYSTEM FAILURE: MEMORY UNIT]

– One doesn’t know what it’s waiting for.

Its motionless legs are covered in moss and its equally motionless fingers are tangled up in growing weeds.

[SYSTEM FAILURE: NECK]

The honey fungus growing on the tree trunk behind One’s back spreads to One’s wooden structures. One can’t even move its head anymore, glowing eyes are fixed in one direction now. One watches, observes. It waits for an unusual movement, waits for something. Something. It doesn’t know what, anymore, but something.

what is it with me and spending stupid amounts of money on frivolous things every january 🤡

#last year it was $30 for a single snowdrop bulb that wasn't likely to survive in my zone and didn't #now i just spent $130 on rose bushes #both times while unemployed #but something in my brain says buy a little treat :) you deserve it :) in january and then i listen #after carefully not wasting money all the rest of the time #maybe this time i can blame it on a very good (seeming?) job interview this morning #ao im like ok im basically not even unemployed anymore. lol 🤪#idk im just stupid #HOWEVER #the price was deceptive. for the roses. the shipping was almost the same price as the whole thing so it was more expensive than expected #and i had already carefully shopped and picked 3 bushes i really want #when i could have easily convinced myself to buy more lol #anyway despite the instant regret of spending the money im really excited abt the roses #looking forward to having roses in the garden next year!!!#there's some beach roses but the bloom is short and not very fragrant so i got some Fancy ones #bc i love the david austin roses so much #i will be glad i did this i think #but i hate spending money on things that aren't necessities esp while unemployed lol #this has been a shitpost

here i am still making mp100 comics in april of 2024. its just such comfort food. im highly normal about mob and tomes friendship

panel 9: tome, opening her front door, says, "Y'know what, Mob, maybe I'll invite him instead." Mob says "That's a good idea. Let's see if he can come with us."

panel 10: now exiting onto the walkway in front of her apartment, tome says, looking excited, "Actually I have been investigating something new. We should look for a haunted house!" mob thinks to himself, "Sounds like work..."

panel 11: mob looks skeptical and asks, "In the city?" tome responds, "Yep." behind mob, ritsu unpauses the game (ssb brawl) and starts thrashing mob (ritsu mains lucas, mob mains kirby)

panel 12: tome walks down the stairs of her apartment building to a concrete sidewalk with a row of trashcans nearby. she says, "My first guess is that new shaved ice place on 5th street." mob responds, "Oh." tome says "It's an old building! I think it's haunted!"

panel 13: mob, contented, says, "Okay. I'll meet you at the train station." pleased, tome responds, "Excellent!" ritsu looks back at mob with a mean smile on. the tv screen says "GAME!"

panel 14: mob yells, "Ritsu! What the heck!" tome, at a stoplight, replies, "Sure, he can come too." she presses the walk signal button. "BIP."

making this comic i learned that you cant just put masking tape over your mistakes and re-ink on top of it bc the masking tape looks too dark when its scanned in. i guess ill just have to warm up more and be more deliberate when i ink like some kinda loser. or i could become truly insane and start gluing on little pieces of bristol

I presume you get a lot of asks about this but whats that status on Succubus contract? I forgot if you were postponing to January or a later date and I'm honestly incredibly excited for it.

ADHD Med shortage and biting off more than i can chew has gotten the better of me, im aware i havent really posted any of my stuff in awhile and its really causing some anxiety so im very sorry everyone.

As a sign of good faith. I want to give you at least a sneak peek. You have all put your faith in me. Given me support as a comic artist that i still frankly dont think I deserve. And in that hype I think I overestimated my skill. I was thinking I could hammer out 50 panels a week without issue, the standard webtoon schedule. Without realizing how exploitative webtoons itself is for this kind of workload. This below was to be my first upload. 150 panels in all. The average webtoon will run 50 panel updates at 1 update a week. At an average of 5-6 panels a page thats roughly 7-10 pages a week. To put it in terms non webtoons readers can understand, Marvel and DC creators with teams put out about 20-24 pages a month.

It makes me question if I want to even do a webtoons format. Cause I can put out 2-3 pages a week of a traditional comic format without any issue at all. Thats only 18 panels max. Which also means I can develop twig along with other comics. Once the med issue is sorted, things will be back on track, until then I have some hard choices to make I think. I'm so sorry, really i cant help but feel like I blew an opportunity to make something of myself online and get my art out there. You all counted on me, and i feel like I failed you. And the truth is im not sure what to do right now. Here is the first page of succubus contract.

what if i wanted to make another insane promo post?

yeah, ik, its promo time again. BUT this time around i do wanna add in the post both my cousin and niece

one thing i did get wrong, heartz is my niece, starz is my cousin! this will basically be going over what each of these 2 do (...and im also adding in a bonus competitor/promoed person, well actually 2 because I GOT A CHANNEL YIPPEE)

each channel will be seperated up so yeah lets go!

first channel:

Starzzz.andgalaxy (my actual cousin, lol) is a great yter who absolutely deserves to be celebrating more then just 170 subs! since shes actually here with me, i can let her say a lil something on the matter:

"hello! I would love to reach 200 subscribers at least, I think my hard work should not be for nothing!" <- her typing

shes very very fun (and also with this i hope all the god damn hate comments shut lol) and does very cool things such as:

Roblox videos

(comment is from me lol, we'll get there soon) For right now these are just rating videos of her avatar, but I find them very fun (plus since I play roblox if needed I can help with filming lol)! Not much to say on it cause it's not a common kind of post, so onto the next form, which is:

2. Art

As you can see, she does very cool art, this one in particular is a tutorial on how to draw bodies. Is it the best? No, but the fact she's trying makes it great! (this is also where I've seen a couple hate comments come up, so yeah, I'm trying to be mature enough to not commit violence for her upon them) She does admit this video isn't her best work, but she does A LOT of very very cool drawings! Go check them out and her channel of course! There is one thing she also posts about which I love most of all...

3. Paper Dragons!!

(the first image is her first dragon, second is her most recent i think) I don't get how these things are "paper furries", but I do know THEY ARE SICK AS FUCK. I got to see one in person and they're very cool, all with different stories! I honestly wanna ask for one but right now, I'm gonna stick with watching them.

Second channel:

Heartzzz.❤️ is my niece, and she does similar content, but still does good content! A couple of videos of Starz and Heartz are them promoting each other, so yeah. While she is on vacation and can't be here to give her reasons to subscribe to you, I certainly can!

Memes

One thing I forgot to mention my cousin doing (well, actually my cousin's section is just kinda old because it's from when she last came over, but she's back to help me again, yay!) is making memes like this. Sometimes they do involve a paper dragon, but I think they're pretty funny and/or relatable (also dragons very cool)!

2. Edits (and Undertale related things)

I'm putting these 2 in the same category just because of the example image above. While my cousin has recently started doing edits, Heartz is the only 1 of the 2 to make anything Undertale related. While the Undertale stuff comes once every blue moon it seems, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

Animations

One of them has really been getting into animation, posting things like ball loops and such on their account. They're very interesting to watch personally!

2. Cool places

I'm not sure if this is going to be a common theme, but there is around 3-4 videos of places like this one. I have to admit, this has to be the prettiest of them all.

3. Art (+FNAF/Five Nights at Freddy's Content)

This is another one grouped together, but because this is the first drawing related one I've seen. They're very big FNAF fans, of course leading to things like this. Is it the best? No, but they tried very hard of course, and maybe you could leave some tips for them to improve with!

(they also post memes and funny videos, but I'd rather not do repetition; FINISHED THIS ALSO ON THE 15TH LETS GOOOOOOO)

yeah, i have a youtube now, and there's like nothing on it minus a couple videos. all of them are made back in like 2021-2022? cant really remember, but i posted them for younger me's sake. i have like a couple more to get through, but afterwards im probs gonna do a bigger variety of content! art videos, jrwi edits, animations, rambles, essays, you name it! (might even stream again on twitch if that seems what the people like lol)

you may want actual reasons to subscribe, but i currently dont have any. i can only make promises of better future content, but right now i can admit theyre shit. i dont post often, its only oc related rn, all very vague, nothing that interests most people on my blog (cause i know a lot of you are here for jrwi content, huh?). this channel, the choice to subscribe is fully up to you, im not gonna sell myself to it, im simply just saying its real.
