So your AU where Jason takes care of a young Bruce got me thinking.
Imagine Dick, maybe a couple weeks after Red Hood started making a name for himself, got deaged somehow. Maybe Ivy’s pollen did something weird, maybe he was dealing with a magic user, who knows! But he ends up as a tiny… let’s say 5 to 6 year old.
And who else would find him, but Jason.
Maybe Jason would recognize Dick, maybe he wouldn’t, but either way he’s not just going to leave him alone in the middle of Gotham (personally, I think it’s better if he doesn’t remember, solely for the fact that Dick DOES remember, but is out here pretending he doesn’t so he can get info on Red Hood)
Ahhhh, yes! De-aging shenanigans!
So for one I think you’re absolutely right. This version of Jason isn’t on good terms with the bats but Jason would never leave a tiny child (whom he assumes suffers from amnesia) out in the midst of Crime Alley/Gotham.
But considering Jason’s priority will always be Bruce in this verse (and he still harbors a huge deal of resentment towards Dick) he probably wouldn’t take him home/to a safehouse and instead just drop him off at one of Batman’s patrol routes. Maybe he even stays around long enough to ensure Batman picks him up, but that’s it.
Jason’s brain is currently running on fourty parts revenge plans and sixty parts “parent”, and all are in agreement that mini Bruce is to be kept away from Batman and his “saintly first boy wonder” no matter the cost >.<

My second playthrough of exocolonist was so funny likee
I was trying to get into a relationship with both Dys and Sym. But somehow messed up and didn't flirt enough with either. I also changed my mind halfway through and let Dys bomb the colony just to see what happens. And then let him become a gardener. And then I got into a relationship with Sym. And then I became governor and saved everyone.
I just find it funny to think about this through that timeline's Sol eyes like.
You have a crush on this guy since you were a kid.
And hey! If that's not working out you also have a crush on this hot alien you just met. You shoot your shot with both.
Then you just fucking randomly find out they're together after one of em bombed the colony you're planning to lead.
Your childhood crush turns into brain goop. You have a very emotional moment.
You think your romantic life is fucked.
Not even a month later you fuck the alien in a cave.
Then another month later you overthrow the government.
Then you falsify info for everyone on earth to think the planet exploded.
And at the end of the year you strike a deal with the consciousness that's been trying to kill you and save everyone you love.
I just know that version of Sol had years cut off their life just by the sheer stress of that one last gameplay year 😭😭😭

9/12 prompt: makeup - exes jeggy (788 words) - @jegulus-microfic
James stood frozen in front of the door. His fist was raised in the impression of someone about to knock, but his body wouldn’t allow him to carry it out. Sirius was behind him, watching.
“James, just knock on the door.”
“But he’s in there, Sirius,” James whispered.
“...Yeah, this is his flat. That you drove to. For the plans that have been established for a while now.”
James let out a pathetic whine, eyes trained on the door. Shaking his head, James flexed the hand he still held in the air and reformed his fist.
Sirius sighed and grabbed James’ shoulders, turning him around so they were face to face.
“Listen to me. You are going to go in there. You are going to have fun tonight and learn to be friends with my brother again. I know it hurts, but maybe this is what you need to finally get over him. So knock.”
James had already heard variations of the speech before, and it broke his heart into two jagged pieces every single time, but it was enough to get him out of his head. So he nodded and turned back around.
In a feat of herculean effort, his knuckles wrapped twice on the door before he stepped back and took a deep breath.
They only had to wait a few moments before the door was hauled open and James’ heart lept before it stopped in his chest. It wasn’t Regulus.
He scowled at Barty, who grinned at James.
“Nice of you to show up,” Barty opened the door more.
James and Sirius shuffled inside. The bitter taste that always lingered in James’ throat around Barty, even now, temporarily distracted him from the way his hands shook from dread and anticipation.
“Where’s… the others?” James mumbled, glancing around the flat. He hadn’t seen Regulus in over two years. It was nice, in some twisted, painful way, to see the traces of Regulus left everywhere.
“They’re in the bathroom. I think they’re almost ready.” Barty flopped onto his back on the couch and downed a cup of something. Probably whatever Regulus and his friends chose to pre-game with.
As if on cue, a door down the hall opened, spilling out light and soft laughter. Pandora walked out first, wearing a flowy forest-green dress. Her arms, neck, and hair glittered with an obscene amount of jewelry, but it worked. It always did on Pandora.
Pandora’s laugh caught at the end when she spotted James, but she smiled widely and looked back into the bathroom— presumably at Regulus.
“No more fussing; you look great. Come on, some people are here.”
James flushed, not missing the emphasis in her voice, and his heart attempted to crawl up his throat again.
Time slowed as Regulus emerged from the bathroom, and James was not exaggerating if he later claimed he nearly passed out then and there.
Regulus was just as beautiful as he was two years prior, possibly more so. He’d grown into himself more, had a new air to him now he’d been so far removed from the worst of his family.
He still stood with great posture, but now it made him look a tad more confident rather than stiff and uncomfortable. His hair was longer, his curls only slightly more unruly, but James could tell. He was wearing tight jeans that hung low on his waist paired with what would be an unassuming navy blue crew neck if it weren’t cropped to reveal his midriff. James tried desperately to keep his eyes up, but a twinkling at the edge of James’ vision ripped them down and he had to face a world where Regulus now had a bellybutton piercing. Well, that’s new.
The final nail in James’ coffin came when he looked up at Regulus’ face and realized he was wearing makeup.
It wasn’t that Regulus looked any more beautiful than he always did now that he had makeup on, though he couldn’t deny the way the eyeliner alone accentuated his eyes in a way that was near other-worldly. It was the fact that he was wearing makeup at all.
He’d mentioned it a few times when they were still together, the way he’d admired the way Sirius wasn’t afraid to experiment with his gender expression. How ever since he was small, he’d wanted to play with everything on his mother’s vanity. How he didn’t think he’d ever have the courage to after his parents caught Narcissa doing his makeup when he was twelve.
With loose shoulders and crop tops and blush, both pre-applied and all-natural, James realized he didn’t want to miss anything else.
So, James smiled. There was no getting over Regulus.
“Hey, Reg. Been a while,”
