ok i kinda agree with wilbur on this-

listen, if pogtopia overthrows the schlatt administration, there is no way wilbur could ever be a democratically elected leader ever again. he's caught in a catch-22; he could never hold a legitimate election. sure, he could ban schlatt from participating somehow, and i'm sure even if he didn't wilbur would still win, but that doesn't matter. all that matters is that if he overthrowa the schlatt administration, he will have turned his back on the prospect of popular rule. he will have placed his personal sense of morality over the will of the people. he couldn't be a president in the truest sense of the word, because a president is chosen by the people. (of course, this calls into question the legitimacy of the american republic but whatever-) tommy hasn't realized this yet, because he doesn't place as much importance on the value of democracy as wilbur does.

and so yeah, if they lose, they lose, and if they win, they lose. this, of course leads to the ultimate question: is a benevolent dictator better than a bad president? morally, the answer is clear, but politically........... the water is much murkier.

Maybe Schlatt x reader but he has horns (preferably female reader, but they could be gender neutral)

y/n decorates them for him w/ chains and jewelry to make him look ✨fancy✨ (and also helps him take all the decorations off at the end of the day)

And to tick Schlatt off they’d hang jackets and stuff on his horns

when they’re laying in bed the reader would occasionally bring marbles and stuff to roll down the horns and tap on them to make little songs

If they have a kitten Schlatt 100% puts a blanket over his horns and sets the kitten on them and the kitten falls asleep or plays with his chops/hair

Schlatt also probably puts food on the horns so that he can just stab an apple on the end and eat it hands free

Y/n probably grabs his horns at random times just to get his attention

Occasionally they have to alter his clothes (ex. Hats and hoodies) to make sure he can wear them comfortably

a/n: can't believe how canon these are dude. may i add:

- schlatt wears rings that match the jewelry you put on his horns

- with the marble rolling thing, he'd be so annoyed the first couple of times but after a while, he'd race you. his marble on one horn and yours on the other, seeing which one rolls down faster

- his horns also have tiny little scratches on them from the kitten bc they like to use them as some weird scratching post. the kitten also bites at the ends of the horns.

- the base of the horns are very sensitive so you kinda massage around them and run your fingers through his hair and he Melts

- when he's editing and you wanna get his attention, you grab a hold of his horns and gently pull them in different directions to get his attention

- putting tape on parts of his horns that are barely visible to him, but visible enough to where he sees the piece of tape and whips his head around to try and see it better. very amusing

- sometimes painting on his horns bc why not (you always wash it off ofc)

- absentmindedly tapping on his horns when you're listening to music

- if he wants to get your attention, he rubs the side of his horns on your face until you look at him

- putting caps at the ends of his horns when you sleep bc they're kinda sharp and neither of you wanna get hurt

- y/n: hey can you grab [food item] for me?

schlatt: *stabs it with his horn and brings it over to you*
