“Taehyung-ah! You have two hours before dinner, okay?”

“Yes, eomma!”

“Don’t make me have to come find you!”

“Yes, eomma!” Taehyung calls out before closing the sliding glass door to their deck.

The Kim family beach house sits just behind the sand dunes separating the beach from the homes lining the streets of their quiet town. The homes are nothing special, just boxy buildings with large windows built on high foundations to protect from flooding. The residents’ real treasures are boats, and the Kim dock is where Taehyung heads.

Taehyung’s fluffy hair whips in the cool autumn wind during his trek through the cleared walkway between the dunes leading to the beach. Reaching the sand, the toes of his boots darken as he trudges through it. All morning, it rained, making the sand clump like wet dirt. Slimy seaweed and other debris cake the shoreline, so Taehyung carefully walks along the beach.

The Kim dock isn’t anything fancy. Taehyung’s father built it himself out of wood he cut, sanded, and treated with his bare hands years ago. They keep their small fishing boat anchored to it – Singularity, named by Taehyung. He didn't know what to say when his parents asked him what it meant. He couldn’t outright admit that the word came to him in whispers in the wind when he sat at the edge of the dock, feet kicking in the air above the water. Taehyung has told one too many stories in the past; his parents are tired of hearing about his conversations with the wind. They said he would grow out of it, but Taehyung is freshly twenty, no longer a child, yet the wind still speaks.

It’s cold without the sun to chase away the rain clouds. Taehyung zips his windbreaker up to the base of his throat and crouches at the edge of the dock to peer out at the ocean. The water is clouded from the rain kicking up the sandy floor.

“Hi,” Taehyung speaks to the wind and hopes it remembers.

He left his phone at home, so he has no way of knowing how long he waits. The dock is rain-soaked, but his thighs burn from crouching. He opts for kneeling and shivers when his jeans absorb water at the knees.

“My Tae?”

“Yes!” Taehyung perks up, eyes searching the horizon where the gray sky meets the murky ocean waters. He never sees anything; it’s just the wind. He looks anyway.

“Where have you been, my Tae?” The wind sounds disappointed, and guilt makes Taehyung shrink further into his jacket like a frightened animal backed into a corner.

“I’m sorry. I go to college now,” Taehyung admits sheepishly, “Far from here, so I can only visit during school breaks.”

Waves lap at the legs of the dock. Sometimes, Taehyung thinks he sees things in the water, shadows bigger than the fish he catches off the dock in the summers. His father insists that the water is too shallow for large fish like sharks, but Taehyung doesn’t believe him.

“I miss my Tae when he isn’t around…”

Is it possible for a voice to be addicting? Taehyung swears the wind’s voice calms him. It’s silvery and alluring, a lullaby he could find himself falling into. He imagines himself falling asleep on a note, riding the soundwaves of the wind’s voice, ringing pure and cutting through the splash of waves meeting the dock. Sometimes, he wishes the wind would sing to him, knowing it would be a kind of heaven on earth if it did.

“I miss you, too. It’s hard making new friends. I can’t just talk to them about anything like I can with you.” He closes his eyes and feels the wind kiss each eyelid.

“You are my only friend,” the wind whispers, sounding so close that Taehyung thinks he can feel the wind swirl against the side of his face.

The air smells stronger now, a mixture of saltwater and petrichor. A cold front must be approaching. Taehyung worries it may rain again, but he doesn’t open his eyes to check. Something tells him not to, that it’s safer if he keeps them closed, though he doesn’t know why he’d need to be kept safe. Safe from what? The wind?

“Open your eyes, Taehyung,” the wind whispers softly, alluring, a temptation so sweet that Taehyung feels himself falling into it, “See me.”

“I’m scared,” Taehyung whimpers with a shiver. He tucks his hands between his thighs and holds his breath when he feels something caress his jaw, a light pressure like an index finger trailing from his earlobe to his chin.

“Why are you scared? I love you, my Tae.” The light touch sweeps back along his jaw and then trails down Taehyung’s throat until the collar of his jacket stops it. His wind loves him. “I would never hurt you. Now open your eyes.”

Cold hands gently cradle Taehyung’s face, palms to his cheeks. The hands are soft, slightly damp, and very much real. The wind can’t have hands, he tells himself. The wind is just wind. Taehyung’s stomach churns, tumbling like it does when his father’s boat hits a patch of rocky waves, sending fish flopping onto the bed of the boat and making Taehyung’s boots slide against the aluminum.

With his heart fluttering like a caged hummingbird, Taehyung slowly opens his eyes.

The wind is not air, but a young man with eyes a murky green like the sea who stares at Taehyung with parted glossy lips. Taehyung catches a glimpse of sharpened teeth behind those luscious lips, but he can’t focus on only one thing when there is so much of the man to take in. His shockingly white hair is messily braided with strips of seaweed and strings of pink pearls and draped over his shoulder – his naked shoulder – and Taehyung realizes the man is shirtless. Little jewels, pearls, and other shimmery gems decorate the man’s chest, outlining his sides until they reach his waist – covered in green scales that gleam despite the lack of sun. Taehyung inhales sharply when his eyes finally land on the sparkly fishtail draped over the side of the dock.

“I–” Panic swells in Taehyung’s chest. He gasps as though he’s been pulled underwater, the moisture in the air like the ocean in his lungs. “Who, who are you?”

“I am your wind, Taehyung,” the man says with a small smile. When he slides one hand up Taehyung’s face to tuck a strand of hair behind his ear, he makes a sound like a cat purring. “But in the water, I am called Jimin.”

“Jimin,” Taehyung whispers. Jimin. It is such a soft name; Taehyung likes how his lips pucker when he says it. “Why didn’t you ever tell me your name? Why didn’t you show yourself to me?”

Jimin gives Taehyung a sad smile. “I was scared, too.”

Taehyung’s heart still beats frantically in his chest, but he calms down as Jimin plays with his hair, caressing and running his fingers through the strands. Jimin calls out Taehyung’s name, whispering it like a secret only they know, “My Tae, my sweet Tae, my precious Taehyungie, so happy to finally touch you.”

Taehyung finds himself closing his eyes and leaning into Jimin’s touch, letting out a quiet whimper when Jimin lightly scratches his scalp. Hypnotizing – the word bubbles up to the surface of Taehyung’s mind, his thoughts murky like the water beneath the dock. The wind, Jimin, is hypnotizing.

“Why?” Taehyung asks without explanation, but Jimin knows everything.

“I want to keep you.”

“Hmm?” Taehyung lifts his head, realizing he has rested it on Jimin’s shoulder. It’s comfortable in Jimin’s embrace, even though Taehyung’s pants are thoroughly soaked from rain and ocean water, and Jimin’s scales feel strange under his fingers when he skips them along Jimin’s waist.

“I want to keep you, my Tae. I can’t let you go.”

“Keep me where?” Taehyung asks with glossy round eyes. He points to the waves lapping at the dock. “In there?”

Jimin licks his lips, and Taehyung feels his stomach churn and dip like the climax of a rollercoaster or a freefall from a plane.

“Yes.” Jimin runs his thumb along the apple of Taehyung’s cheek. His touch is just as soothing as it is terrifying; Taehyung can’t comprehend how that is. “Will you come with me?”

Taehyung can’t. He can’t survive in the ocean; doesn’t his wind know that?

But there’s still the pull. The source of it sinks lower until it’s tugging at Taehyung’s belly, making him heat up despite the temperature quickly dropping around them. It’s almost night; he’s unsure if he has already missed dinner or if his mother is searching for him. Looking over his shoulder, he sees nothing– hears nothing but the chirp of gulls and the crash of waves.

“Taehyung.”

Jimin’s fingers curl around Taehyung’s chin and force Taehyung to face him again. The color of his eyes seems to have darkened with the sky, a light gray now when it was once green.

Taehyung’s name sounds so pretty, coming from Jimin’s pillowy lips, lips glossy and pink like the pearls in his hair, and the gems decorating his body.

Taehyung feels the pull, and he wonders if it’s Jimin giving him sealegs, even though they’re both sitting down. Something is terrifying about his beauty, something uncanny, like an android that looks a little too real, or the feeling you get when you realize a photograph is actually a painting – still beautiful but deceptive. There’s something scary about Jimin that Taehyung can’t fully understand before it slips through his fingers like sand.

Taehyung wants to kiss him.

“I want to kiss you,” he says, not knowing why he admits it out loud. He can’t stop himself from leaning into Jimin when he pulls Taehyung against him.

“My sweet Tae,” Jimin murmurs into Taehyung’s mouth.

Jimin’s tongue is slippery and tastes like saltwater, but it’s warm and deft as it flicks against Taehyung’s lips and slithers along Taehyung’s tongue. His hands tangle in Taehyung’s hair, yanking his head to the side to deepen the kiss. It’s fast and desperate, Taehyung moaning and gasping into Jimin and Jimin taking it with bites to Taehyung’s lips and groans of his own. Taehyung has never been kissed like this, held so gently but ravaged. His lungs burn as he drowns in his wind.

Taehyung groans when Jimin releases his mouth to suck on his neck, just above his jacket’s collar. Taehyung can do nothing but let Jimin pull his head back, and he watches the stars come into view when he’s laid flat on his back. Water soaks his hair, making the strands turn black, and Taehyung’s body shivers from the cold. Only his torso is relatively dry.

“Jimin,” Taehyung calls out, voice gravelly, nearly stuck in the back of his throat. “I can’t.”

I can’t survive in the ocean, he thinks, and can’t speak because Jimin suddenly straddles his thighs.

“Stay with me, Taehyung,” Jimin pleads, but it’s spoken with an authority Taehyung can’t imagine disobeying.

“Your legs,” Taehyung chokes and tries to push himself up on his elbows.

Gone is Jimin’s elegant tail. He has legs now, pretty legs with a smattering of green scales at his hips and along his calves. Jimin grips Taehyung’s hips with fingers that are greenish at the tips. His nails are sharpened into points and dig into his skin, even through his jacket.

“If you will not stay with me, let me give my Tae a gift,” Jimin whispers, his eyes sparkling like the ocean under the moonlight.

Taehyung nods quickly and squirms beneath him. “Something to remember you until I can visit again?”

Jimin licks his lips, eyes boring into Taehyung’s, and Taehyung gets another glimpse of sharp teeth. He rakes his nails down Taehyung’s body, from his hips to the tops of his thighs. Taehyung hears the denim rip and fray, but Jimin’s nails don’t break his skin.

“You’ll never forget me, my Tae.”

“Of course not,” Taehyung pants with a heaving chest. He feels wild, an animal taunted by the rattle of his ribs when Jimin suddenly shakes him.

“Your gift,” Jimin whispers as he leans forward, walking his green-tipped fingers up Taehyung’s torso until they’re hooked around his shoulders.

“My gift…”

Taehyung watches Jimin’s eyes change, shifting from gray to bright white, and his pupils turn into pinpoints.

“My heart is pierced by Cupid; I disdain all glittering gold,” Jimin sings softly as he yanks Taehyung into a sitting position and straddles his lap, “There is nothing can console me, but my jolly sailor bold.”

The song sounds familiar, but Taehyung doesn’t know why. The memory sits on the tip of his tongue and dances to the haunting tune of Jimin’s cadence, just out of Taehyung’s grasp. He finds that it doesn’t matter – not the memory, nor anything else.

“His hair, it hangs in ringlets, his eyes as black as coal. My happiness attend him wherever he may go.”

Taehyung’s head lolls to the side. He no longer holds it up, just lets Jimin’s warm palms squeeze his cheeks to keep him upright. He goes where Jimin moves him, tips his head backward when Jimin wants to stare into his eyes.

“From Tower Hill to Blackwall, I'll wander, weep, and moan, all for my jolly sailor, until he sails home.”

Jimin’s nails puncture Taehyung’s jacket. He hooks his fingers through the material as he wraps his legs around Taehyung’s waist. Before Taehyung has the chance to do anything but let out a startled gasp, Jimin falls backward into the water, taking Taehyung with him.

There is no splash when their bodies slip past the ocean’s surface, only bubbles that pattern the otherwise still waters. The waves no longer lap against the Kim family’s dock. The wind no longer speaks.

bts’ hyung line arguing on who raised sua for 19 minutes straight

hello! i’m back with a new video that features our one and only sua along with some of the many clips, of bts’ hyung line arguing on who raised sua because they’re cute like that, and they’re all precious :> also the video is 19 minutes long… sorry not sorry, there’s more btw

##CLIP ONE | bts in the soop

“Oppa!” Sua giggled as she waddled her way in the car with Suga and Jin, both who are waiting for her as she jumped at the back seat, waving and greeting the cameras before closing the door.

“I’m with my reliable oppa!~” Sua cheered at the camera as she situated herself in the back seat causing Jin to laugh at her antics.

“Wear your seatbelt Hyun-ah.” Yoongi spoke, pulling his mask down as he buckles his own seat, getting ready to drive.

Sua shuffled on the back pulling the seatbelt stuck from the top, her face scrunches up as she pulls the seatbelt harder shaking it multiple times.

“Oh? Why?” Sua let out an exasperated sigh causing the older members to turn around and look at her.

“What’s taking you long?” Jin glanced from the mirror, laughing as he watched Sua struggle to fight the seatbelt.

Yoongi smirked at the younger member, “Why are you like this Hyun-ah?” he asked in sarcasm, teasing Sua.

“You’re acting like a rookie, haven’t you been in a car ride before?” Jin shouts from the front seat before removing his seatbelt and turn around to help the younger.

“You don’t need to pull so hard, just release it from the top.” Jin showed Sua how to do it, and buckled her in her seat himself to avoid any more complications.

“Oooh oppa is so cool.” Sua giggled, doing a small dance smirking at the camera in front of her, “he’s like a boyfriend- no a father!”

Jin sat down in his seat buckling himself as Yoongi begin to drive, in the hopes to catch up to the members. “It’s like when I met you back then, I would do your seatbelt for you. Such a kid Ahn Seohyun.”

Jin sighed as Yoongi shook his head in agreement, “We were worried that Sua would begin dating other guys when she turned 20, but till this day she’s still-”

“Oppa! You can’t say that in national tv.” Sua gasped trying to change the subject, but she know they’re never going to stop teasing her anytime soon. “I have a crush, what if they see me.” Sua replies jokingly causing the members to look behind her.

“Yah! Who do you tell tell me?” Seokjin glanced at the younger from the mirror as she raised her brows, chuckling mischievously.

“It’s ARMY of course! I need to be on my best, and show off my charms.” Sua shouts to avoid any more dating allegations stacked on her name.

Yoongi sent Sua an unknowing smirk before ignoring her previous statement, “What are you talking about? ARMY’s love all your charms.”

Sua shakes her head avoiding conversation, holding back the giggles in her mouth.

“You better tell me later, send me a message right now.” Jin mumbles under his breath opening KakaoTalk to ask her.

##CLIP TWO | 150709 [bangtan bomb] late happy fairy sua day in australia

“I can’t believe it, she’s already 20 years old.” Hobi faced the camera, drying fake tears as the group huddled to surprise her.

Sua was called to film an interview after their schedule in Melbourne, which gave the boys enough time to design and surprise their hotel room with cake and balloons.

“Sua is already an adult, it’s sad to see her grow, but I’m happy of the all the things she will achieve.” Hoseok smiled at the camera before continuing to design her cake.

“What about you hyung! Suga hyung! Say something to Sua, it’s a letter for her.” Jimin ran to his direction placing the camera in front of him.

Getting his emotions ready, Suga let out a short sigh before looking at the camera, “That little squirt is already 20, how fast does time go. We’re here in our first world tour and I’m happy that she got to experience these memories and moments with us.

The first time I met Sua, she was 15 years old, such a baby, and now she’s already an adult. I’m proud of her.” Yoongi smiled softly and waved to the camera, before continuing to help the rest of the members.

Moving on, Jimin went to Namjoon to ask him to send Sua a message. “Sua, when we first met you were so small, and I showed you around BigHit, you were timidly following behind me, and now you’re walking on a flowery path.

I wish you all the best, and I hope you enjoy your time as an adult. Remember that the members are here with you, and together we will walk together. Happy birthday Sua!”

Namjoon smiles before sending a finger heart to the camera, before Jimin smiles, leaving him to find the rest of the members and their messages.

##CLIP THREE | 150508 [bangtan bomb] after KBS Music Bank 1st Place

“This,” Sua placed the trophy in front of her with stained lips from Tae’s antics, “this is my early coming-of-age-present. Which is coming in 15 days!”

Sua shake the award in front of the camera before staring at in, honey dripping from her eyes. “I’m so so happy. This is our first award and woah, it’s just shocking. I’m shaking right now.”

Sua shows the camera as Seokjin walks from behind you, “Are you okay Hyun-ah?” Seokjin rubs her shoulders comforting her as she show him her shaking hand.

“I’m still processing the whole thing, you know, our first win. It’s nice, I- I didn’t think we would win. Thank you ARMY!~” Sua smiles pulling Seokjin inside the frame and pose with her.

“I’m so proud of you!” Seokjin smiled at Sua and pat her head lovingly, pinching the sides of her cheeks.

Turning around, Seokjin faced the camera saying, “I can’t believe I’m here to witness Sua grow up as an idol. I raised her you know.”

Namjoon, who was walking near him, listened to the conversation and nodded his head behind Jin, pointing to himself and mouth the words, “me too”.

“Sua has become a lovely girl, and when I let her she was so adorable and sweet.” Seokjin spoke, showering Sua with compliments.

“I met her first! I met Sua back then, even before Yoongi and Hoseok!”

##CLIP FOUR | [BTS 꿀 FM 06.13] 2nd BTS birthday ‘BTS FESTA 2015’

“Okay it’s time for Sua’s segment.” Yoongi flipped his script as the members scoot over to push Sua on Yoongi’s right side.

“I have a segment? What is this?” Sua laughed awkwardly looking at the other members.

“Yes, this is for your coming-of-age celebration preparation time!!” Yoongi spoke quickly causing the members to laugh at him.

“Of course, in our room, Sua keeps talking about having plans for her birthday.” Seokjin added.

“So, Sua, tell us- well me and hyung already know but tell the other members.” Yoongi gestured to the rest of the members, eyes never leaving the female.

“Ohhh, I want to go to a park! Maybe we can hang out outside the dorm? I can treat you out because I saved some of my allowance, I can’t go home either and my parents will be sending me money I think?

I can treat you, we can eat meat at the restaurant near BigHit, after practice! But, I don’t know if we have a schedule or not, so maybe we can celebrate earlier or later, it’s okay to me, as long as we celebrate it together.” Sua ended her statement with a smile as the members cheered at her promising plans.

“It’ll be in a month right? Your birthday?” Jungkook spoke beside her.

“Yeah, perhaps, did you forget when my birthday is?” Sua asked, playing sad as Jungkook frantically waved saying he knows.

“Sua is growing well, let’s hope we don’t have any schedule’s planned during your birthday.” Hoseok spoke before closing Sua’s segment and moving on to a different topic.

##CLIP FIVE | 170921 BTS Comeback Show DNA

“Sua’s DNA?” Jin tilted his head to the side, and the first words that come out of his mouth are, “my child”

“I practically raised her.” Yoongi shrugs his shoulders, unfazed as he mumbles staring at the camera.

“A baby?” Namjoon chuckles with a big grin flashed on his face.

“Did the other hyungs say Sua is their child?” Hoseok looked at Jungkook from behind the camera as he jumps and laughs along with Hoseok.

“Ahh, I knew it, these hyungs. Seohyun’s mother! Hello, I’m J-Hope.” Hoseok bowed in front of the camera causing Jungkook to laugh behind the camera.

“Are you introducing yourself hyung?” Jungkook asked.

“Yes, I also helped raising your daughter, but thank you for giving birth to her.” Hoseok smiles at the camera before bursting into a fit of laughter.

“Sua is my child, I fed her, and made her food when she was in high school. You were there!” Seokjin shouts as Jungkook nods his head in agreement. “You made us lunchboxes hyung! Noona and I would eat them together.”

“Hyung would say he raised Sua, but I also raised her! I gave her pocket money so she can hang out with her friends after class.” Yoongi nods his head, full of pride for Sua.

“You never gave me pocket money hyung!” Jungkook shouts from the back of the camera, “You said you didn’t have friends?” Yoongi retorts causing Jungkook to scoff at his reply.

“Just so you know I shared the money with Kookie.” Sua spoke from the back leaving Yoongi shocked. “What!”

“To Sua,

Ahn Seohyun, you’ve grown so much, not just as an idol, but also as a person. How fast the time goes by, when I met you seven years ago, you were but a child, an 8th grader to be exact. When I met you, I just felt the need to take care of you, it was a natural instinct that came over me, and I fed you and helped you especially when you still had classes.

I’m glad you stayed around, and stuck with us seven. I’m proud of you, and how far you’ve come. I’m sorry if I became a burden to you, if I nag a lot and scold you, know that it is out of love, and I’m glad you’re understanding of not just me but to all of us.

There must be a lot of pressure on your shoulders right now? If so just know you can lean on me, and the rest of the members when you’re tired. We can help you ease the burden, and we’re ready to help you.

All the responsibilities that was given to you at a young age, I’m glad you pushed through and worked hard, if not as twice as hard as me. Sua, who never gave up to all the problems that arises. thank you for everything, I’ve learned so much from you, and the wisdom you impart to the team.

Ahn Seohyun, you are special to us. Thank you for being a part of this team, and to see you grow into a fine woman. I am filled with pride to be a part of your journey. i love you.”

“Who taught you to drink?” Yoongi drawled as he watches Sua take a shot of alcohol.

“I’m bad at drinking though, I only drank once with Jin-oppa, after the Red Bullet Tour? We went out to celebrate and he poured me a drink.” Sua explained as her face scrunched up to the burn of the alcohol down her throat.

“Woah! You went out on a drink with hyung? How come we never knew this, you went out all along with hyung?” Hoseok chided, asking for more details to this unknown scenario.

“Yes, we went and oppa gave me a glass of soju, it was horrible, I didn’t like it, so I never drank in front of you guys.” Sua shrugged it off, ignoring the fact that she’s been drinking before without the boys knowing.

“Why didn’t you call me instead?” Yoongi pouts feeling sad you went with Jin instead.

“Because you were in the studio after the tour remember? And we didn’t plan on getting drinks we were just eating dinner that one time.”

Yoongi shook his head in disappointment, “I can’t believe our Sua can drink by herself already.”

"I can drink alright, I thought you guys knew though.” Sua tilted her head sideways thinking of the time she told them before.

“I can’t believe I’m witnessing you drinking for the first time and you’re so nonchalant about it.” Yoongi rolled his eyes in a playful notion as Sua giggled at his actions.

“Let’s get a drink together, I’ll treat you out!” Sua shouts from the other side of the table as the members holler and cheer.

“Woaaah she’s going to treat you out hyung!!!.”

“Can I come with the both of you?”

“How come you only invite Yoongi? Do you forget we’re also here?”

“No, you don’t have to pay. I’ll pay like a cool older brother, just like I always have.” yoongi brushed it off coolly.

“I can’t believe Sua is already at the age where she can go out drinking, she’s growing old.” Namjoon mumbled feeling sentimental.

“What are you saying oppa? It’s been years since I can drink!” Sua laughed from her seat, “You’re acting like I drink all the time, this is probably the third time I drank alcohol.”

“You’re still a baby Seohyun-ah!’ Namjoon shouts all of the sudden making Sua giggle at him.

seokjin would want to plan you the most extravagant birthday, even if you told him again and again that you weren’t expecting anything special. he would want to make up for the fact that he was working during the day, so that night he’d tell you he was taking you on a date. he’d pick you up and tell you to wear a blindfold because he had a surprise. he would carefully lead you into your favourite restaurant that he had rented out, as your family and friends inside surprised you by singing happy birthday. he would make sure the night was so special for you, and even though you told him he had done too much for you, he’d say, “you deserve it all my love.” seokjin would have all your favourite meals served and your favourite cake to celebrate and end the night.

kim namjoon

namjoon would be so organised when it came to your special day, and he’d start planning weeks in advance to make sure he’d have the day free. he managed to book a weekend getaway at a beach house for the two of you, and he’d have it set up for when you walked in with balloons and flowers and presents for you. “i don’t want you to stress for one second on your special day,” namjoon would tell you, and he’d make sure the whole trip consisted of relaxing with your boyfriend, which he knew you needed. you’d help him cook dinner in the kitchen with your favourite songs playing, and you’d eat together on the balcony overlooking the ocean as you talked about everything and anything. namjoon would even surprise you with a cake to sing happy birthday. overall, he would make sure your birthday was a very chill escape from your normally hectic lives.

min yoongi

yoongi would want to make the time he spent with you on your birthday special. although he was working all day, he would pick you up in the evening and would surprise you by booking a night at a fancy hotel for the two of you. he’d make sure to have your bags packed already, and he’d go the extra mile having a cake brought up by room service after he had taken you out to dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. your boyfriend would sing happy birthday in the cutest way and feed you the cake himself. yoongi would want you to relax the whole night, telling you the rule was, “whatever the birthday girl wants, the birthday girl gets.” he’d run a warm bath for the two of you, massage your shoulders, and get under the cozy sheets together as you watched your favourite movie until you both dozed to sleep.

jung hoseok

hoseok would want to pack your day full of fun. he’d start your day by taking you out for breakfast and would tell the cafe that it was your birthday so they would bring out a cake for you. he’d take you to an amusement park since he knew you always wanted to go, and he’d bite his tongue and say yes to whatever ride you wanted to go on, even if it was terrifying for him. the two of you would share fairy floss and hotdogs and all kinds of festival food, and the night would end with the two of you watching the fireworks together as he made sure that you had a good day. “all that matters to me is that you had a great birthday,” hoseok would tell you, planting a kiss on your lips as you assured him it was the best day ever.

park jimin

jimin would want to go above and beyond for your birthday. he’d planned a holiday for the two of you months in advance but wouldn’t tell you where you were going as it was a surprise. the two of you landed in paris the day before your birthday, so on your special day you woke up beside him in your gorgeous hotel room. jimin would press kisses to your lips as he wished you happy birthday, and then he’d order breakfast for the two of you that you shared on the balcony overlooking the city. the day would be spent with the two of you lounging in bed, sightseeing around the city together, and eating at different restaurants and cafes. you’d end the night sitting in front of the eiffel tower with your boyfriend, as he whispered in your ear, “i’m so grateful you were born, y/n.”

kim taehyung

taehyung would keep your birthday celebrations lowkey but meaningful. he’d book you spa appointments with your friends during the day so you could relax, and once you returned home that evening your boyfriend would have a three course meal ready that he had been cooking for you. “is the birthday girl surprised?” he’d smirk as he placed a kiss on your lips, proud of what he accomplished in the span of a few hours. the dinner would consist of all your favourite foods, and he’d set up the table ready for a candlelit dinner with you. taehyung would even be the type to be dressed in a suit even though you were eating in your living room. he’d make you a birthday cake and sing for you, putting on music in the background as the two of you danced and eventually fell asleep bundled together on the couch.

jeon jungkook

jungkook would want your birthday to be a really special time with your loved ones. he had gone behind your back to plan a party with your family, and picked you up on your birthday to take you to your parents house. it would be so lovely to see your boyfriend get along so well with your family, and you’d have the best time eating and dancing and opening gifts. once the party had finished, jungkook would want to go the extra mile so he could spend some alone time with you on your special day, so he’d take you back to his place so you could open his gifts for you. he’d watch you open them with the biggest smile on his face, telling you, “you deserve so much more, baby,” when you told him it was too much. you’d pull him in for a kiss to thank him, before he pulled you into his bed so you could stay the night with him.

Bangtan Baby: Happy Birthday!

April 27th - Bora’s first birthday.

Being Korean, it was expected of them to do the traditional Dojanchi celebration so Bora could pick her future. They planned something small with both sets of grandparents and close family, with the traditional hanboks, seaweed soup and rice cakes. They had laid a book, money, food, thread, a BTS album and a paintbrush before her - Grace knew what Seokjin wanted Bora to go for, she personally wanted her daughter to go for the book.

Of course, because of whose daughter she was, she had one hand on the BTS album and one hand on the food.

But for her actual birthday, they had planned a party at HYBE so everyone could celebrate her birthday. Of course, it meant nearly everyone and anyone had been invited, including Bang PD, CL, IU, Tomorrow by Together, and so many more. And being Grace, it gave her the perfect excuse to go all out for her daughter’s birthday.

It took four months of planning but the top floor of HYBE had been transformed into a nursery rhyme world. There was a large cake decorated with vintage images of the cow jumping over the moon, Humpty Dumpty and the like. The decor consisted of vintage inspired jars of fresh flowers, with themed elements added to the table like a mini Humpty Dumpty sat on the edge of the vase and there was a little grandfather clock with a cat on it.

The ceiling was covered in pastel materials with stars hanging down and paper lanterns as well. On one wall, there was a large backdrop in white with Bora’s name in purple, small and large nursery rhyme figures around it with balloons tied together to look like clouds with stars hanging down.

The event company had done an amazing job, including the caterers who had gone above and beyond to create food around the theme.

The birthday girl in question was having a great time having people carry her around to look at everything. She was dressed in a light purple dress with fairy rings - her request.

“She’s having fun,” Hobi laughed as he snacked on one of the themed biscuits as he sat with the rest of BTS, minus Jungkook who had the birthday girl sat in his lap as the rest of the children sat around the lady dressed as Mother Goose to tell nursery rhymes. “And I think Jungkook is enjoying himself as well.”

Yoongi snorted, taking a seat next to Namjoon who was videoing the youngest members of the group. “That’s because he’s a big kid at heart. Plus he’s been talking non-stop about this.”

Jimin and Taehyung had wandered over to join the maknae, causing Bora to abandon her post and sit in Jimin’s lap. Jungkook pouted and frowned, causing Taehyung to grin and give him a slight nudge.

“That’s because he’s Bora’s brother in everything but blood,” Namjoon noted and took a quick glance at the parents who had chosen this moment to join them at the table. “You guys look knackered.”

“You know, it’s one thing talking to celebrities in a formal setting because you’ve slept in that morning and you’ve had to do nothing other than let stylists make you up and sip champagne,” Jin started and held up his vintage tea cup. “This time I’m the parent who has been up all night with his one year old and I’m having coffee.”

Grace hid her grin and reached over, patting Jin on the shoulder. “At least you got an hour’s nap in until she had a poo explosion on your lap.”

“And where were you?” Yoongi asked, arching an eyebrow at the female member who matched his expression. “I was here, dealing with the party since 7am, thank you very much. Plus, I dealt with the aftermath of the explosion since I got home in time. What were you doing? Sleeping?”

Yoongi glanced away, saying nothing, making Namjoon and Hobi laugh.

“Yeah, thought so,” Grace rolled her eyes but she was smiling, glancing over to the four youngest. “At least they're enjoying themselves. Good thing we’re only doing this every milestone birthday.”

“Won’t be long till she’s 5,” Namjoon commented causing those at the table to stare at him. “Sorry.”

“Can I enjoy my daughter being one please before you ruin it with the fact she’s going to be five soon and then a teenager? I already found a grey hair this morning,” Jin commented, turning his head to Yoongi who wrinkled his nose at him.

“I’m surprised you haven’t turned grey already. You’ve been dealing with Jungkook since forever,” Yoongi remarked then found his hands full when said boy decided to sit on him.

“Ah that’s what you get,” Jin grinned as he took back his daughter from Taehyung as the rest joined them. “Have fun?”

“I never knew about Tom Thumb,” Taehyung suddenly exclaimed. “Why did no one tell me about that one?”

“Because your not a baby and don’t need nursery rhymes?” Hobi asked, nudging at Jungkook to get off Yoongi but losing the battle against the muscle bunny.

“But I will one day when it’s my turn. How am I meant to know what nursery rhymes to tell my kids?”

“Oh god can we not go down the road of everyone else having kids,” Grace groaned as she covered her eyes. “I can just about handle you lot and my own.”

“Hey!” came a collective cry from everyone including her partner, her daughter silent on this one.

I’ve noticed that JiKook seem to have a lot of nicknames attached to them individually and separately. JungKook is bunny, baby star candy, JK, Koo etc. Jimin is Mochi, Chimchim, min min, Mangetok(?sp) etc. Together they’re the Busans, Sun and Moon and not sure what else. Are they the only ones in the group with all these cute nicknames? Are they all given to them by fans and what’s the origin? I thought of this ask after seeing JM referred to as puppy kitty by the editors which is so darn cute. What do JiKook call each other the most? Do they ever use any of these as endearments toward each other? It’s more like three asks in one but just really curious at the plethora of nicknames these two seem to have.

Diminie (during a fansign he was asked how he acts when very drunk, JM said he does lots of aeygo and once called himself Diminie instead of Jiminie)

Dooly (ARMY and the members say that when Jimin puffs his cheeks out he looks like the cute cartoon puppy Dooly, Jimin even referenced himself as Dooly on Taes first Instagram post)

Ddan-ji/장딴지 (basically just means Calves, in reference to Jimins insane leg muscles. Lol Tae called him this in his 2013 birthday letter to Jimin and K ARMY all called him this too lol especially whenever Jimin wore shorts on stages)

Be-i-geul-nam/베이글남 (a mash up of Korean words that basically means "man with a baby face and a hot body," lol given by K ARMY)

Semo-Rami/세모라미 (means tri-circle. It was given by karmy for his soft rounded facial features and triangle eyes.)

민윤기천재짱짱맨뿡뿡/min-yoon-gi-chun-jae-jjang-jjang-men-bbung-bbung (lmfao basically translated as Min Yoongi is the best best man and then bbungbbung which is the cutest way to describe a fart sound affect. A fan wrote this line to him in a letter and Yoongi loved it an adopted it for himself. Lol you also see it pop up in Run ep 140)
