New animal magic fanasy

So I've created a new world building project where reptiles, birds, wolves, and cats (that also includes wild cats such as cougars and bobcats) can do magic. Here's the Legend of the Dirty Paws, the first story I've written with thos world .

The Legend of the Dirty Paws

It all started two hundred years ago, with a cougar named Mashee. Unsatisfied with the way of life in her village, she broke off from the animal groups with three others, each from a different group. The wolf was named Alais, the bird, a falcon, was named Falef, and the reptile, a garter snake, was named Darkling. Together they wandered the woods, convincing others to join their cause. Eventually it twisted into something else, where they would get others to join them only under threat of death. Their cause was righteous, but the execution was wrong. One day, the Bringers, as they called themselves, decided to attack a meeting of the animal groups and destroy the peace bonds between the groups, hoping to unite all animals under the Bringer banner. In the actual attack, many were badly hurt. Fortunately, the only one at the meeting they managed to kill was the mockingbird translator. At that moment, the Bringers became a genuine threat. Everyone started calling them the Dirty Paws, as they had gotten blood of many innocent animals on their fur, scales, and feathers. No one was safe in the Wild Hunting Woods. All of the animal groups began to starve. Eventually, a feline voluntary outcast named Kasiel worked with several reptiles to bring down Mashee and the Dirty Paws. The reptiles in question were Firefly, a timber rattlesnake, Ladybird, a mediterranean house gecko, and Swallowtail, a bullsnake. The four of them were vastly outnumbered, but Firefly managed to seek out Mashee and bite her. Mashee died about an hour later, and then, no one had to live in fear.

Now, someone's trying to bring them back.

El atletismo venezolano entró en acción, en pista

Informe: Iván Romero / Fed. Venezolana La realización del Campeonato Nacional por Especialidades, este 30 y 31 de marzo en la pista del Fuerte Tiuna (Caracas), permitió ver nuevamente en acción a la plana mayor del atletismo venezolano. También lo hizo la categoría u20, que tuvo en Ricardo Montes de Oca, con sus 5.25 m. en garrocha, a su nombre estelar. La misma prueba de garrocha, pero en damas, marcó la reaparición de una de las principales figuras del atletismo de este país, la ex medallista mundial y tricampeona sudamericana Robeilys Peinado. Inició su temporada con una marca de 4,10 metros. Entre los hombres se vieron varias actuaciones relevantes, siendo una de las mejores la de Kelvis Padrino con sus 45.99 en los 400 metros llanos, donde fue escoltado por Javier Gómez con 46.84 y Luis Felipe Rodríguez con 47.04. La final de los 100 metros llanos, con viento en contra de 0.9ms, quedó para David Vivas con 10.52, delante de Alexis Nieves (10.65) y Bryan Alamo (10.72). Nieves, a su vez, fue el más rápido en los 200 metros donde marcó 21.49. Las pruebas de mediofondo tuvieron excelente nivel. Sobre 1.500 metros el ganador fue Sebastián López con 3:45.50, seguido por Gabriel Guzmán con 346.23 y Lucirio Garrido con 3:52.55. Kasiel here! (Just learned my name haha) m wondering if anyone remembers it? I had a strong association with tears and the ocean! I kept to myself mostly but do remember being helped in times of need! I've posted here before under my old url @angel-of-the-ocean-deep but now I'm @kasiell since I've remembered my name! I had dark inky features illuminated by molten gold and six sets of wings. I cried a lot and my tears burned like fire n i have a few pictures at my blog! (Well drawings lol)

Here ya go! Sorry that it came out late!

Marriage life with Jinwoo:

Domestic and mundane.

He is so laid back now that the gates are no longer opening.

Jinwoo would just lay his head in your lap when you both are watching a movie and you immediately go to play with his hair.

He is a hugger when you both are sleeping. He will wrap his arms around you and pull you flush against his chest.

When he knows that you are comfortable with it, he will start asking you about having kids.

“You know honey, just the thought of kids running around here in the near future makes me smile so big I can’t even tell you.”

You would smile at your husband as the dreamy look appeared on his face. You reached your hand over to him and pressed it to his face.

“We can have a child of our own soon.” You whispered to him.

When you become pregnant, you are so happy that you start crying. Jinwoo is confused but when he sees the pregnancy test in your hand his eyes widened and he is all grins.

He would kneel down next to you and wrap his arms around you. He would whisper sweet nothing to you as you both are just crying now.

He would press his hand to your stomach even though you were not showing yet.

Jinwoo would brag. There is no stopping this man. He would brag to his friends, his family, and friends about you being pregnant.

During the nine months, the man doesn’t let you do anything. He has his shadows doing the heavy lifting while you sit on the couch and watch them.

Kasiel, being the adorable dragon he is, can grow smaller. He would do so just so he can lay on your belly.

You would sit and pet his head when he would appear on your stomach.

The little dragon would chirp happily when your finger touched his head.

Jinwoo watched the little dragon get all the attention and shot him a glare. Kasiel curled up on your stomach and closed his eyes in content.

Jinwoo soon sat next to you and pressed his hand to your stomach, making you smile.

“I can’t wait for the baby to be born. They will definitely have your eyes.” You said looking up at your husband.

He smiled before pressing a kiss to your forehead. “They will be just like you.” He whispered to her before pressing his lips against hers.

Okay now for something no one asked for, a Magnus Archives daemon au! Okay so I haven't written anything but maybe someday I will. For now, I'll just say who I think has what daemon! I'm going to do this by season to hopefully avoid spoilers for those who haven't caught up. I'm also only doing people who have been heard on tape and are reoccurring characters to hopefully keep me from going insane. These are also sorted by order of appearance. Anyway, without further adieu...

Jonathan Sims:

An American Kestrel. I went with the name Kasiel(kaz-yil), which should sound a little like Daniel but ends up sounding like I'm saying casual weirdly. I went with John having a male daemon although I'm still a little torn in that department. I might change my mind later, but the name wouldn't change much, it would become Kasielle(kaz-yell) instead.

Elias Bouchard:

A Grey Jay, also known as a Canada Jay. Her name is Ameline. Not much else to say, I suppose.

Martin Blackwood:

A Tibetan Mastiff. Martin I think has such a dog personality, but its tricky finding a dog that's more introverted than extroverted. I named her Bransi which I think has a nice mix of tough and gentle.

Sasha James:

A Rüppell's Fox. I was debating over a couple different foxes, including the classic red fox which I'm very picky about seeing as that's my mom's daemon. In the end I went with Rüppell's also known as a sand fox. His name is Aiken(eye-ken).

Melanie King:

A Marbled Polecat. I'm a little iffy on this one, I did kind of rush, but if not a polecat than something like a mongoose or stoat. I named him Taean(tay-in).

Timothy Stoker:

An American Flamingo. I was tossing around between water dwelling birds or maybe primates. Finally settled on the flamingo. Her name is Lysere(Liz-air-ee) but I think her nickname would be Lys(Liz).

Breekon & Hope:

I don't think they would have daemons. I have a very specific reason behind this decision that I can't exactly go into for season 1, but I will be able to explain it later, so look out!

Jane Prentiss:

A Russian Blue. I imagine he would look normal pre-worms. However, once Jane becomes a living hive her daemon should reflect that, so he would also be pretty gross looking. You would think I would go with some sort of insect, but before Jane was a living hive she was a lonely person who wanted affection, much like I think a cat would be. I've named him Wenser.

Well, that's it for season 1! All of these pictures come from Wikipedia in case anyone was wondering. Also, I'm completely caught up on tma but as I've mentioned in another post not everyone I know is. So I might be a little slow making these posts.

My Akagidoll body showed up today.

I think it’s funny that the K-Doll head is a closer match than a previously purchased Akagidoll head.... And I got Akagidoll Ban like May 2018...

Don’t need to redo the face-up on my K-Doll Kasiel.

I don’t know why I feel nit picky, but I hate how they sculpted the ankles. It’s a very unaesthetic joint...

Need to buy some stretch leather for his flamboyant vampire look. 70cm pants are way too big for him.

I always want more body variety but then it’s like oh no they can’t share clothes....

Castiel NEEDS To Be A Villain, and here’s why:

Our beloved angel - as we all know - does not exist. Entirely, that is.

In fact, we all know that he was based on an actual angel named quite similarly, Cassiel.

Now, that’s about all we’ve been told about his origins by the show runners.

Here’s where they didn’t tread further:

The Angel Cassiel spawns from Jewish, Islamic and Christian faith. This results in many variations of his name - Cassiel, Castiel, Captiel, Kafsiel, Kasiel; and more uniquely... TZAPHKIEL. (We will return to this name, I assure you.)

Cassiel is immediately noted to be one of the Seven Archangels. This fact is aided by your average google search. That, and that he is the angel of Thursday, of Temperance and tears... etc. However, once you leave the confines of more modern speculations, you enter far more radical contrasts in what information we’ve been given. Such contrasts are as followed. (Read below)

He is the angel of: Saturn, making his weekday influence frankly Saturday instead of Thursday. He is the angelic prince of the Seventh Palace, otherwise known as the Seventh Heaven.

The meaning of his more predominant name, Cassiel, translates to “Speed of God”, or even more aggressively, “I am God’s Anger”. This ties well with the type of weapon he wields, which is a sword laced with lightning, the word ‘Ruin!’ engraved within its blade. Behind him swarms a slew of tempests, as if to add to the dramatics. This goes according to Jewish Mysticism.

Further along in Occult Western culture and literature, English occultist Francis Barrett portrayed our Cassiel in his book, ‘The Magus’, as a “dragon riding jinn”. With a beard, might I add. (”GOD HAS A BEARD!” I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it.) So not just an angel in some elder lore, but perhaps a whole other beast. Or even worse... a hybrid of sorts?

Now, then. Let’s return to TZAPHKIEL. Out of all of the derivatives of the angel’s name, it bares no sort of similarity to its other kin. That is where we must leave the normal template of the ‘Seven’ Archangels, and find ourselves presented before the TEN Representative Angels. They go not in the order of The Nine Choirs, but of the Ten Blessed Orders, starting from the highest rank to the lowest; the highest being the Seraphim, and the lowest being the Blessed Soul.

More exactly do they travel downward as followed:

1. Seraphim

2. Cherubim

3. Thrones

4. Dominationis

5. Potestates

6. Virtues

7. Principalities

8. Archangels

9. Angels

10. Blessed Souls

Surprisingly enough, Archangels - who we’ve always believed to be some of the most powerful in Heaven - are actually the third ones down to being the least.

Now, we’d think, from what we've seen of our Castiel, he would rightfully be in the lowly place of an Angel, however powerful he may have seemed from the beginning, all the way to now and his more human comparison.

That, my friends, is where we would be wrong.

INSANELY wrong.

For you see, The list of The Blessed Orders also has alongside it the Children of God that correspond to them. Basically, their roles.

They go as followed:

- Mettatron (The Seraphim)

- Jophiel (The Cherubim)

- Tzaphkiel (The Throne)

- Camael (The Domination)

- Raphael (The Potestate)

- Haniel (The Virtue)

- Michael (The Principality) <-- This was shocking!

- Gabriel (The Archangel)

- Ratziel (The Angel)

- Anima Messiah (The Blessed Soul) <-- I think we can all assume this one.

You’re probably wondering where Castiel, or rather Cassiel, is on this list.

I did assure you that we would return to that enigmatic name, TZAPHKIEL. We already have once.

TZAPHKIEL is Cassiel, under one of his many names.

And with that name comes more to acknowledge! Under TZAPHKIEL, he is known as ‘The Knowledge of God’, not just his speed. And as to what a Throne is in The Blessed Order, it is one of the highest three ranks of the Angelic Hierarchy, as displayed. In fact, they themselves are considered GODS alone.

And as if THAT wasn’t enough, out of the technical NINE thrones there are in Heaven, He, TZAPHKIEL, is the leader among them all! Hence why he is the only one labelled as The Throne.

The Throne makes decisions, and clarifies them. He sends them to those who are not strong enough. He is precise, and meticulous. And he decides who is worthy enough! Whether it be for his Father, or for whatever cause he sees fit to deliberate. HE. IS. THE THRONE! LITERALLY!

So, my friends. Take this all in; one paragraph at a time, if you must. Then, after that, wonder along with me...

HOW THE HELL HAS HE NOT SNAPPED ON ANYBODY YET?!

Or rather, the better question may be, HOW HAVE THE WRITERS OF THE SHOW NOT SEEN THE POTENTIAL OF SUCH A REVELATION?!

Do they not know at all of their angel? Have they never done the research?!

Because if they did, Oh the possibilities! One day - one dreadful day, where perhaps the Winchesters go too far - he could just SNAP, and out from within some buried conscience unearths this awesome POWER!

And all would be F***ING SCREWED!

... *Sigh* But alas. Maybe they want to keep him as the loyal friend we’ve come to love.

Or maybe - just maybe, barely even a maybe - they’re saving him, TZAPHKIEL, for the right. moment.
