Tungsten
Tamayo x They/Them Reader
A/N: Do y’all ever think the masks the swordsmiths wear would do more harm than good? They stand out a lot for people who are supposed to stay lowkey. I could think of a few reasons why they would wear them in the village, but when their out delivering swords I would be worried. Anyway, that’s why I had the smith leave the village w/o their mask on if anyone wonders as they read 🤷‍♀️. Hope you enjoy! Word Count: 1,088
A lot of aspects surrounding (Y/n)’s way of life were a secret. Their village, their job, their face… all concealed. But that was just the reality of every swordsmith that had given their service to the demon slayers. However, there was an even bigger secret (Y/n) held that had the potential to jeopardize everything that they had built if any of their fellow smiths or the demon slayers found out.
“Heading out of the village again, (Y/n)? If you weren’t so diligent with your work, I’d have half the mind to scold you.” Tecchin chuckled. “Have you met a special someone in the city?”
“Truthfully, yes,” (Y/n) beamed beneath their mask, “yes, I have.”
“Lucky kid,” Tecchin teased, “Just be careful, for your sake and theirs.”
“I will. I’ll return in a few days.”
“As long as the quality of your work continues and things are done on time, you can go whenever you want. Safe travels.”
(Y/n) bowed to the elder in reverence, then made their exit. They always felt a little guilty over the identity of their sweetheart, but knowing who their lover was and what she stood for, they didn’t lose too much sleep over it.
They looked over their travel bag once more, making sure their special side project was among the belongings. Then they stowed away their mask and and left the village, the smell of sulphur fell away and the sound of metal tinkering slowly morphed into to bird songs and the swaying of leaves on the breeze. Then as night fell, they were greeted with the glow of the big city, the sound of automobiles and carriages rolling along the gravel.
Along the way, (Y/n) found a familiar fuzzy face and smiled, crouching to the ground to greet the cat who approached them with a happy, ‘mrrp!’.
“Good evening, Chachamaru. Will you be my guide tonight?”
The cat brushed against their leg, going a little ways down a quiet path before turning around to wait for the swordsmith. (Y/n) followed after Chachamaru and did not startle when the cat suddenly vanished after reaching a certain point. They continued on, following the cat through the barrier, gazing up at the lovely house that had suddenly appeared.
The front door slid open and (Y/n)’s smile grew as a woman stepped out to greet them. They wasted no time bounding up to her and lifting her into their strong arms, relishing in the surprised gasp and soft laughter that followed.
“Tamayo, love of my life, I missed you so much! Have you been well?” (Y/n) asked between several kisses.
“Yes, I’ve been just fine, thank you,” she chuckled, attempting to dodge the onslaught of affection now, “I missed you too, but (Y/n), please, show mercy.”
“Ah, is Yushirou around?” (Y/n) looked around a bit warily. They had tried to get on the other demon’s good side, but given that they were Tamayo’s partner, it was an impossible task.
“No, I gave him a few errands to keep him busy for a couple hours at least. I would just like to make it inside the house before being so… openly affectionate.” She softly replied.
“Oh?” (Y/n) gave Tamayo a mischievous look, putting a bit more pressure in their hold, “but Yushirou put up this special barrier so one can see us, isn’t that right?”
“(Y/n)…” Tamayo warned, a pretty blush crawling over her pale cheeks.
“I’m only teasing, my love. Let’s go inside, I made something for you.”
“You didn’t have to do that.” Tamayo looked just a bit concerned, “You have a very important job, I hope you aren’t sacrificing yourself to try to appease me. You know just having your company for these few days every month is all the gift I need.”
“You are so sweet,” (Y/n) kissed Tamayo’s forehead, “and that’s why I like to make you things, because you’re so sweet I want to give you the best I can offer. Come on, I can’t wait to show you!”
Tamayo didn’t have to worry about following (Y/n) in, (Y/n) carried her in and set her gently on the ground once they were inside Tamayo’s room, decorated with artfully crafted metal works that had been made by the smith that stood before her.
“Close your eyes.” (Y/n) asked.
Tamayo smiled warmly at the excited twinkle in their eyes, then did as she was asked. She felt familiar rough hands cup her own, slipping a cool piece of metal into her open palms before closing her hands around it. The hands pulled away and she mourned the loss for only a moment before (Y/n) whispered,
“Alright, take a look.”
Tamayo opened her eyes and slowly peeled her hands back, then quietly gasped in awe and the small, yet intricately crafted patterned tungsten ring with a pretty gem encased within. Unsurprisingly, it for her finger perfectly when she slipped it on.
“It’s beautiful, dear. I love it.” She said, with as much sincerity as she could muster. Though the tears welling up in her eyes left no need for trying to convince.
“I’m glad you think so. I made another to match!” They flashed a ring of their own that Tamayo hadn’t had a moment to process until now, noting the complimentary design of (Y/n)’s ring and the shiny Ruby gem embedded within.
“I made them so you would have my birthstone and I would have yours. So we’ll always be carrying a little piece of each other. What do you think?”
Tamayo put her hands over her mouth, unable to get anymore words out, but she did come forward to rest her head against (Y/n)’s chest, nodding appreciatively. Her heart soared when their arms wrapped around her as they always did and she melted further when they softly kissed the top of her head before resting their head atop hers.
Tamayo hadn’t dared to dream she would find peace like this ever again, but now that she had it, she would be damned if she’d let it go. She enjoyed her allotted time with (Y/n), spending every moment she could with them before they had to go back to their village. She was sad to see them go, she always was, but they would be back. In the meantime, she would continue her own part in this war and continue her research. Now with that added weight upon her ring finger, she would hold it close to her chest and look up to the moon as she counted the nights until her smith’s return.

Tumblr media
Part 1 2
Tumblr media
Lady Tamayo and Yushiro
You had met Lady Tamayo after you had become a demon. You had accompanied your husband to the battle with Muzan, but you were aware that you could not tempt fate in their battle. You predicted all of this, and you could sense that the Demon King was scared. But, you knew that Yoriichi would not win this one.
It was unfortunate, but you had saved the woman. You had reignited her resolve to kill Muzan Kibutsuji, and thus she was on your side. The both of you were great friends especially, and she was honestly very surprised that you were still training your children to become demon slayers despite being a demon yourself. Yoriichi seemed very hospitable to her, and she was grateful for your kindness. Your son and daughter came to know her as Aunt Tamayo.
Hearing the name for the first time brought tears to her eyes, as she had lost her children however long ago. Whenever your husband had to go on a mission, Tamayo stepped in to make sure that the children and you would not be harmed. She is very surprised at the extent of your abilities, as you know each Breathing Style and every Blood Demon Art that has been developed thus far. But, you had confided in her that you couldn’t copy Muzan’s for whatever reason.
She becomes something akin to a sister for you. She supports you in everything, especially when you are hit with flashbacks of the brutal lobotomies that you underwent during the experimentation that made you the Ultimate Hashira and now the Ultimate Demon. She often used her Blood Demon Art to put your body at ease as she informed your husband of what was happening with you.
Your children had inherited their parents’ intellect, and they could sense and predict when you were about to go through an episode. So, they would run and either get their father or their Auntie to make sure that you were safe and that you would be alright. As the time of your husband’s death was nearing, your episodes became more frequent. Your son and daughter were grown adults by now, and were married to two citizens and had children of their own.
Lady Tamayo and you had made sure that Yoriichi had gotten a proper burial, and she made sure that the burial site was concealed so that no one would be able to disturb him. She helped you through the mourning process, but the two of you had agreed that it would be best to go your separate ways, as the Corps and Muzan would go after the two of you.
Of course, you never went too far. You were aware of her practice and how she kept her hunger at bay, and you would make sure that your family knew that she was a trusted friend. Every generation knew her as Aunt Tamayo, and it always reminded her of your son and daughter who passed away a while ago. You also visited her from time to time, making sure that she was alright, but also when you get injured when you are helping the Demon Slayer Corps.
However, one day, during one of your visits to her, you were promptly attacked by a demon with green hair upon setting foot across the threshold of the estate. Going up against the Ultimate Demon was not a smart move on his part as you were very close to killing him, before Lady Tamayo rushed out and stopped the two of you. After a very awkward conversation over tea, you had learned that the demon’s name was Yushiro, and that your friend had taken him under her wing as a medical apprentice of sorts.
Yushiro found it hard to accept you, as he was jealous that the Lady spent more time with you. But, sometime during your visit, you left her to take him on a short walk away from her. Since he did respect you, he obliged and followed you. Your first sentence to him alone was ‘I know how you feel for Tamayo’. His face went red, but he should have expected it; you probably knew why he was so flustered as well.
“But, I can tell that she is not yet past the death of her husband or children. I myself understand her pain as we are both widows, but I do see how hard you work to protect her. I ask that you continue with this level of dedication, as it will be necessary soon. I won’t tell you anything else, but just know that you are doing great things,” you said as you started to leave and go back to your own estate. He almost screamed your name upon seeing that you were about to go into the sun, but you stated that you had conquered it and could roam under its bright glow.
You wouldn’t be the Ultimate Demon if you couldn’t conquer the Sun, after all.
Neither of them had seen you since.

a/n : FIRST LADY TAMAYO REQUEST GUYS I’M SO FREAKING EXCITED OMG 😭 anyway, don’t apologise for being specific bc it helps me a lot hehe + i’m sending you a big hug <3
Tumblr media
she found you when she came out at night to buy some medicines and get some blood transfusions
you were all alone playing by yourself and at first she wanted to leave you there
but when she walked by a second time it was pretty late than before and thought that it was quite strange your parents wouldn’t come get you
that’s why she decided to get closer to you
“good evening,” her sweet voice reached your ears and you quickly looked up, still holding a bunch of flowers in your hands. “hello!” you smiled at her, causing a little sting in her heart as she couldn’t help but think back to her children.
“are you here all alone?” she knelt to be eye level with you. you nodded and she frowned, worried that something might have happened to your parents. “what about your parents?” she kindly asked. “they left,” your answer was enough for her.
they probably couldn’t afford feeding you and decided to leave you behind. she was a bit unsure about taking you with her, because well, she was a demon after all.
“can we play together?” you then asked, tilting your head to the side. tamayo stared at you in silence, before getting up. “let’s get you something to eat,” she offered you her hand and smiled timidly at you.
she bought you an udon bowl and watched you eat as she sat next to you, you swinged your legs while eating. “thank you!” you smiled widely and tamayo felt a warm feeling spreading through her chest. “i gotta go now, take care,” she patted your head and got up, ready to leave. you frowned and quickly jumped on your feet. in a moment you found yourself hugging her leg, trying to hold her back.
needless to say, tamayo took you home with her
you were fascinated by her house and you spent most of the time close to her
yushiro was disappointed at first because taking a little human home wasn’t the best idea, but if his beautiful lady tamayo thought it was alright then so be it
he sometimes plays with you, just to not let her down
you’re usually sitting on her lap, watching her study and do her stuff
and when she’s moving around the house you’re always holding her hand or gripping her kimono, walking super close to her
you sleep whenever you’re tired and during such times tamayo has to stay beside you or you can’t sleep at all
you’re always kissing her cheeks and hugging her
( ready to cry whenever you’re not looking )
she feels bad about not being able to take you out during the day but you never complain about it
you just want to be with her <3
Tumblr media
reblogs & comments are super appreciated! thank you for taking your time reading it, i hope you enjoyed it. have a good day / night <3

Tumblr media
KOCHO SHINOBU
“Oh I don’t know Kocho, now’s not the time and I’m really not feeling tha-“
“Love, I don’t really care.” Shinobu smiled, her hands neatly folded in her lap as she sat across from you. She looked so unnecessarily calm, which meant she was planning something. “You’re a horrible liar anyways, so just let me relieve your stress already.”
“Kocho.” You said sternly, your lips forming in a pout. This argument had been going on for roughly an hour, where Shinobu would bring up the idea of eating you out and you’d decline because you’d ‘had a long day’.
But Shinobu was right- you were a terrible liar.
While you had missed her while she was away, Shinobu had the tendency to get a little… carried away.
“Y/n…” She returned your serious stare, getting up and slowly moving to where you sat on the couch. Slowly and teasingly, she pulled off her butterfly haori and began to unbutton her corps uniform. She leaned back and propped herself up on her elbows, her hair falling down into her face making her look ten times sexier than usual.
“Dear god Kocho.” You rolled your eyes, your face flushed as you began to strip yourself of your clothes. “You’re relentless.”
“Can you blame me?” She whispered seductively, her eyes taking in every inch of your body. “I’ve missed you so much love.”
You scoffed and crossed your arms over your chest stubbornly, pouting at her slightly. “You see this? You’re so mean to me.” You cracked a smile and slowly crawled over to her.
“Hush and hurry up.” She reached out and put her hands on your waist, her grip harsh. You huffed and placed your thighs on either side of her face, hesitant to sit down fully. Her hands moved from your waist to your thighs, forcing you to put your weight on her.
“Don’t be shy love, sit on my face.” She smirked into your skin and buried herself in your cunt.
MITSURI KANROJI
She brought it up a while back, explaining shyly how she wanted to sit on your face and have you taste her that way. But she was incredibly nervous since she wasn’t exactly petite, and while it sounds far fetched, she was worried about you suffocating or something.
“So about you sitting on my face.” You stated bluntly as she crawled into your shared bed. Mitsuri’s face flushed a bright shade of red and she swallowed thickly, avoiding your gaze and sitting on the edge of the bed.
“O-Oh you want to do that…?” She nervously ran a hand through her hair, internally cursing herself for being so nervous at the thought.
You rolled over onto your side, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. She slowly looked over at you, giving you an anxious smile.
“We don’t have to if you don-“
“I want to.” She interrupted, turning quickly to look you in your eyes, her face mere inches away from your own.
You chuckled and rolled onto your back, pulling her close to you.
“Well don’t be a stranger darling, sit on my face.” You placed your hands on her thighs and helped her put her weight onto you.
Oh boy was she glad she suggested that.
HINATSURU, MAKIO, & SUMA
Oh they’re evil. All three of them. They gang up on you while Tengen is away for business (demon slaying ain’t easy folks), since you’re their favorite little housemaid.
Makio is the most cruel though, and she sure does love picking on you. Watching you do your job just isn’t enough for her, and she likes to sneak up behind you and wrap her arms around you, her body grinding up against yours as she whispers the WORST things into your ear.
If anything, she’s the one that wants you the most out of the three.
And here you are, standing in their shared bedroom in front of her, dressed fully in uniform while she lays down onto the futon, smirking as you make eye contact. She motions you forward and suddenly the other wives come in, gently pushing you forward.
They keep saying that they’ll take good care of you, and it’s not like you’re worried about I then hurting you… you’re just incredibly anxious. You’ve never been intimate with someone like this before, since you’ve been working as long as you remember, you haven’t really had time for any of that.
“Do you want us to help you undress..?” Hinatsuru whispered sweetly, giving you a soft smile as you stood over Makio’s nude form.
“No. The maid outfit stays on.” Makio interrupted, and Suma chuckled quietly behind you. Her hands snaked their way up to behind your knees, pushing slightly so your knees would buckle and you would land on her.
She pushed your panties aside as the other two draped their arms around you, giggling here and there.
“There’s no need to be shy, just sit on my face already.” Makio gripped your thighs and pulled you down, and you moaned loudly as she began to eat you out like you were her last meal.
Hinatsuru and Suma’s hands trailed along your body, looking for your sensitive spots as you rode Makio’s face.
It was pure bliss.
LADY TAMAYO
“Tamayo? Is that you?” You carefully turned on the light, revealing the figure in your doorway.
She looked rough, her hair messy and her chest heaving slightly. Without a word, she walked over to you and crawled onto your bed. Her eyes refused to look anywhere but yours as she got closer, and you noticed that her face was flushed slightly.
Could she be sick?
No she doesn’t get sick…
“Y/n, my love.” She panted weakly, desperation shining in her eyes. “I need to feel you.” Tamayo smiled up at you, her body lowering down onto your bed as she awaited you.
You offered her a kind smile and went to take off her kimono, but she stopped you, her eyes shining seriously.
“No. I need to taste you.” She was incredibly straightforward, her fingers beckoning you to come closer. “I want you to sit on my face. Full force. I need you.” She sounded incredibly out of breath, and that’s when you realized that she must be in some form of heat.
“Are you su-“
“I wouldn’t have said it if I wasn’t sure.” She retorted, her fingers twitching as if she wanted nothing more than to tear your clothes from your body and ravish you. “Now.” Her lips curled into a small smirk. “Don’t be shy. Get over here and sit on my face already.”

Hi, could I request for a Lady Tamayo!Reader paired with Buddha?
This reader was revived by Brunhilde to be the doctor for the 13 champions and she's loyal (not too loyal) to her bc she saved her from her punishment from being a demon.
The scenario would be that they met when she treated him after his fight and they got to know each other after that?
Please and thank you
Here it is! Special thanks to @nixes-noxes for proofreading/editing to make sure that the characters weren’t OOC. Enjoy and have a lovely day/evening!
Warnings: manga spoilers
Tumblr media
Buddha was…a difficult patient. Despite all of the odds that were stacked against him in his fight with Zero, he won. Yet his victory for humanity isn’t an excuse to sneak out of his room to bask underneath the canopy of his bodhi tree and enjoy a passing breeze with sun shining down from the sky.
That is one of the reasons why Brunhilde had summoned Lady [First Name] [Last Name] from Helheim despite being a demon; before she had been killed by Muzan after drugging him with an elixir during their confrontation in the Infinity Castle, Lady [First Name} had been a doctor. Together with her companion Yushiro, she helped as many humans as she could with their alignments, including those who had been afflicted with Muzan’s poisonous blood and became flesh-eating demons.
In retrospect, dying to give the Demon Slayers a chance to destroy the man who had ruined her human life wasn’t a terrible thing…but Lady [First Name] had not expected to wake up in a dark wasteland teeming with demons that were just as dangerous, if not more, than the demon king himself. It was through sheer dumb luck that she had survived for so long until the Valkyrie had brought from her ‘punishment’ and offered her the position of being humanity’s chief physician in the medical wing.
It did not take the young woman very much time to give Brunhilde an answer. At this point anything was better than being stuck in Helheim. Disinfecting wounds, monitoring a patient’s health, and making sure that they are being properly fed? Yes. She can do that.
But the demon did not recall that being the ‘chief physician’ also meant chasing after a stubborn god.
Shaking her head in disbelief, Lady [First Name] walked up the steep grassy hill as best as she could in her [Favorite Color] kimono and zori sandals till she was standing right behind Buddha, munching on snacks that she specifically recalled telling him to cut back on until he was ready for the next stage of his treatment.
“Why am I not surprised to find you here, my lord?”
“Should ya even be surprised anymore, doc?” Buddha snarked back, unwrapping a candy bar and throwing it in his mouth. “Besides, do you really believe I’d miss an opportunity to get some fresh air?”
She frowned. “I never said that there was a problem with being outside, Lord Buddha. In fact, it is supposed to improve your sleep, cognition, and overall well-being rather than being confined indoors all of the time. I did, however, say that you can but it would be in everyone’s benefit to inform myself or the staff that you wish to go outside instead of sneaking out. Lady Brunhilde was quite upset when she came to the medical wing earlier this afternoon to find out that you were…missing.”
“Bruni will be fine, she’s a lot tougher than she looks, believe me. Let her focus on the eighth round. I might have won but we still need more wins if the gods’ll leave the humans alone. More importantly,” He glanced over his shoulder, a single aquamarine orb staring right at her. “Do I even know you?”
Lady [First Name] tilted her head, staring at him for a moment before smiling softly. It appears that Lady Brunhilde was not joking when she had casually mentioned just how laid-back Buddha is…or simply doesn’t give a shit about anyone. The Valkyrie’s words, not hers, thank you very much. But being a doctor secretly researching demonic transformations or performing blood transfusions did not have its own issues. She also had to handle human patients too. Inhaling a deep breath through her nostrils, she calmed her anger before answering Buddha.
“All you need to know is that my job is to ensure the mental and physical health of all humanity’s champions, Lord Buddha. It goes against my oath as a doctor to force a patient to do something against their will. In this scenario, however, I offer…an ultimatum.” She paused, staring at the blonde-haired deity. Since Buddha didn’t interrupt nor look away, the demon took this as a cue to elaborate.
“I will speak to the staff and allow you to lounge outside here or in the greenhouse until a fixed time. When that time is up, you must return to your room and rest. Yes, this is a curfew, but this is the best that I can offer you right now. You may no longer be in critical condition, though there is a chance that your health or recovery might have some setbacks.”
She could tell immediately that Buddha wasn’t too thrilled with this restriction. No one likes having someone hovering over their shoulder or counting down the minutes until they have to go back to their room when all they want is a little time to themselves before running through medical tests for the nth time of the day.
“Is there any chance you can include snacks-”
“That will be taken into consideration once your bloodwork comes back, Lord Buddha.” Lady [First Name] chuckled, witnessing one of the most powerful gods pouting petulantly like a child. Shaking her head, she decided to do something that she hadn’t done in all of her years of practicing medicine: she sat next to him under the bodhi tree, paying no heed to getting grass stains on her kimono as she stared up at the floating islands of Valhalla in comfortable silence.
He did not say anything….that was progress. Maybe?

Lady Tamayo!Yuu, being the school new teacher?
Oooo
Lady Tamayo Yuu was the new nurse and health teacher! The teacher everyone loves and wants to be adopted by. Everyone is expressed how they can cure anyone even either out potions.
Riddle he wants to show how good he can be and when they helped with his overbloated he cried saying he's sorry he broke the rules because he thought they were his mother. They shushed him and talked to him for a long time. He considered them more of a mother than anything. He is the first person who gets spoiled by them.
Trey he gets vibes of his mom so he respects them he loves how they understand why Riddle acts the way he does. He goes to them if Riddle shuts him out.
Cater his a tricky one Yuu told him about how they can see through his mask not wanting to frighten him they told him about their past how a demon lord turned them. He gets the courage to tell them about his sisters. Yuu gets bitter candy for when they treat him so he dosen't need to eat Sweets.
Ace at first made fun of them but then got scolded he got reminded of his mom. He acts just like her so he decided to respect them sicne they treated his woons when he gets into shuffles with Deuce. He didn't think twice to punch Riddle for down playing their upbringing and heritage.
Deuce he got reminded of his mama so he listens to her all the time when he gets good grades he gets praises. He's the second one that gets treats from them all the time because of the flip switching of his personality he does.
But yeah in all they love her. I'll add other parts of this to other ones.

i think its literally incomprehensible to him just how amazing and adept you are at sciences and math
he daydreams a ton about you (like his secret want to lay his head in your lap and let you mess his hair around while you read)
of course you won't know it just by looking at him. . . he'll just blink out of it and pretend it didn't happen
he's a huge gift-giver
he doesn't really say how much he loves you, so he'll just have to show you (you will be flooded with gifts, books and flowers)
(its also probably how you find out he likes you)
would actually love you being an instigator
poking and teasing him wouldn't bother him in the slightest. . . he'd probably even smile a little at some of the good ones
your scar makes you beautiful to him, in fact he'll always greet you with a kiss to your forehead (holding your head gently against his lips) otherwise. . . his loves kissing your jaw and lips
your hugs would be h e a v e n to him
and come to think of it, he'll grab your hand or pull you by the waist whenever, no warnings, no hesitation
protective, and will drop almost anything if you needed him
he's dedicated, loyal and would try to provide everything for you
his responses are often dull if you don't really know him, and he doesn't like to talk much but. . . there are little moments when he just has to say things to you, like how much of his heart you really have and how incredible you are
long naps with giyuu: tons of thin blankets (so its not too hot) with you laying your on his chest.
he's actually a super soft person who gets cold easily, so he'd hold you close when he sleeps
kind of jealous, or at least wary when your around certain people he doesn't trust
hearing you play the piano would relax him beyond belief, and god, it would remind him all over again just how lucky he is

Tamayo
Tumblr media
Tamayo is the kindest to you from the start. After you explained your story and proved that you weren’t under Muzan’s control, she welcomed you into her home. However, she was cautious of having humans around you until she was sure you had complete control of your bloodlust.
She will gladly take on the role of an older sister for you, becoming a role model for you and looking out for both your physical and mental health. She is quick to notice if you have any struggles and always lets you know that she is open to talking.
Tamayo may have a busy schedule, but she will make room to hang out with you. The younger you are, the more time she will make to be with you. Tamayo will try to find ways to let you go out and explore safely.
If interested, she will take you as an apprentice.
Tamayo is open to trying out any activities or hobbies you like. Just don’t push her too hard on physical activities. She may be a demon, but she can be delicate at times.
Yushiro
Tumblr media
Without a doubt, Yushiro took the longest time to warm up to you. He kept his guard up and watched you like a hawk, ready to attack at any slight provocation. He greatly despised you for permanently ruining his time alone with Tamayo.
Yushiro was overprotective of Tamayo until the incident with Yahaba and Susamaru (you protected Tamayo better than he did). The fact that Yahaba identified you as “(Y/n) the fugitive” confirmed to Yushiro that you were trustworthy.
After that, Yushiro loosens up. He became more respectful towards you as the days passed and allowed you to talk to Tamayo more often. Eventually, he would encourage you to spend time together and do girl things.
Remember what I said about Tamayo letting you go out? Well, Yushiro tags along with you for safety reasons. He hated it at first because he doesn't want to be away from Tamayo. After the incident with Yahaba and Susamaru, he goes without a complaint as his way of repaying you for protecting Tamayo.
He becomes overprotective of you; however, if your blood demon art is more combat-based, he will primarily focus on protecting Tamayo and letting you do your thing. He trusts your fighting skills, but of course won't force you to fight.
Please help and encourage him to confess to Tamayo. He could use a nudge and some advice from a girl.

Tamayo the Fugitive
Lady Tamayo x They/Them Reader
A/N: Just a fun little attempt at giving Tamayo’s origin story more meat. Also just trying to give her more love because she deserves it. Tried not to make Tamayo seem like a vampire but she basically is anyway so yeah. Word Count: 4,200
After years under Muzan’s thumb, Tamayo had finally managed escape and break his curse over her. She had nowhere to go, no one to confide in. She was utterly alone, but after all she had done, she thought it a fitting punishment.
Yes, Tamayo was finally free. She was free and it was deathly terrifying. She was constantly on edge, traveling city to city, village to village to stay off of Muzan’s radar. She had been on the road for only two months, but her refusal to kill more humans, having no shelter and no one to confide in was really taking a toll on her. What could she do? She refused to lay hand on another human and crawling back to Muzan would surely lead to a fate worse than death. She would sooner lay out in the sun than return to that monster anyway.
Currently, she was sitting within a dark cavern waiting for the sun to dip below the mountains so she could continue on her aimless journey.
From deep within the damp, musty cave, she watched the the sun reflect upon the rippling surface of a nearby pond. Her mind became blank while watching the water dance for hours and lap upon the matted wild grasses and reeds that covered the shoreline. It was the most at peace she felt in all her time a fugitive, in all her time as a demon in general, honestly.
She closed her eyes and let her head sway along with the breeze that billowed in from the mouth of the cave and listened to the bugs and frogs, as well as the occasional splash and trickling of water. It was almost enough to make her feel normal.
She hummed and the sound rung deeply within the cave, despite not being projected loudly at all. Liking the way the sound buzzed in her ears, she continued to hum an outdated melody and imagined the last several decades as nothing more than an awful nightmare. She would wake up beside her husband, he would comfort her and their children would come running and pile on top of them.
No tears, no blood, no life taken too soon nor elongated to unknowable lengths. Just her and her family for whatever time she would have had left with that dreaded disease that had made her so desperate for a cure in the first place.
Her humming harmonized with a higher tone and she startled. A laugh that was not her own echoed around her. She looked to the mouth of the cave to find a person crouched there, a sheepish grin on their face.
“I’m sorry,” they chuckled, “I didn’t mean to frighten you. I heard your music and I couldn’t help but join in. The acoustics in there are surprisingly good. I could hear you from the water.
“I see.” Tamayo answered stiffly. She didn’t want to come of as rude, but the warmth radiating from the person even with the distance between them promised, hot, delicious blood and tender flesh. Having not eaten in two months, she did not want to entertain the temptation for long.
“Well, you carry on and don’t mind me. I’m just gathering some wild onions and mushrooms around the water. I just wanted to stop by and tell whoever was sitting in here that they had a very pretty voice.”
“Thank you.” Tamayo blushed.
The stranger smiled and stood up again, stretching noisily. They walked back down the path until they were level with the opening of the cave and turned to give Tamayo a friendly wave before continuing on.
Tamayo felt strange for staring, but there wasn’t much more to do while waiting for the sun to set. She watched the stranger return to their basket and bunch up the clothing around their legs so they could wade in the pond and sort through the vegetation.
She traced their form and watched them work, smiling when they got excited about a larger than average onion or found an unexpected tuber they didn’t expect to find so close to the water’s edge. She even had to suppress a giggle when they slipped on something below the water’s surface and fell in, their basket and raised forearms the only thing they managed to keep out of the water they were now fully sat in. They didn’t let that bother them though, they simply put their basket back on the shore and rung out their clothes before beginning their hunt for mushrooms.
Tamayo wasn’t sure when she had begun humming again, but it felt appropriate so she continued. Watching this person go about their day in the warmth of the sun that caressed them so gently, it made her feel warm as well. Surely, she thought, they must be quite a special person. She mentally wished them the best, hoping that brightness would never be tainted or broken as long as they lived.
As she watched them toss mushroom upon mushroom into their basket, Tamayo’s eyes closed and she committed the moment to memory. Something more she could think back on when the road got too lonely or the weather too brutal or the hunger too consuming.
She could feel the light from the cave’s entrance fading, the light behind her eyelids withdrew, leaving her in darkness rather than a film of pinkish orange. The environment was quieter now, so dusk couldn’t take much longer to fall.
Her eyes blinked open and she looked out upon the water. The person who had been gathering there and their basket were nowhere in sight. They must have gone home while Tamayo was resting her eyes. Good for them, it was dangerous at night anyway. Though she was a bit disappointed despite it.
As the last rays of sunlight fell below the horizon, Tamayo scooted out of the cave. Her plan was to keep trekking on until she made it to Tokyo and then she would try building a semblance of a life there.
She rejoined the footpath and continued in the direction she was heading the night before and nearly forty-five minutes into her walk, she heard a rustle and a pained grunt that sounded like it came from the brambles in the ravine below.
Curiously, Tamayo peered over the side of the eroded trail, a loose pebble she kicked free tumbled down below with a quiet rattle.
“Oh thank the gods, is someone there?”
A scratched up hand popped up from the brambles, making Tamayo jump.
“Are you hurt?” Tamayo called, wringing her hands together. She really should keep going until the next village popped up and have them deal with it, but who knew what kind of demons were already lurking around for their next meal?
“Mostly just stuck I think. This is so aggravating! If you could slide down carefully, you might find my hunting knife and cut through some of this stuff.”
Tamayo did as instructed, inelegantly sliding down the incline on her butt until she got to the bottom. She caught a glint of the knife in a nearby bush and snatched it up, carving a path to the hand still sticking up into the air.
“Oh, hey! It’s you!” The voice from the brambles exclaimed, “You’re a real life saver, Miss Musical Cave Dweller!”
Tamayo freed the scratched up gatherer, baffled that they could still look so happy despite the awful spill they took however long ago.
“…You’re welcome. What happened, if I may ask?”
“Walked too close to the edge I guess. Ground broke right out from under me.”
“Are you sure you’re alright?” Tamayo swallowed. The smell of the human’s blood was sweet and very alluring.
“I’m good. My basket has seen better days through.” They sighed, retrieving the crushed basket from the brambles. “Aww, my mushrooms are, well, mush.” They chuckled warmly, giving Tamayo goosebumps.
“I’m sorry to hear that. I wish you luck on the rest of your journey home.” Tamayo turned and looked back up at the steep hill she would have to crawl up and sighed inwardly. It would not be a very lady-like climb.
“Don’t worry about climbing back out that way. The ground will even out eventually. You are going this direction, right?” They pointed.
Tamayo nodded hesitantly and the gatherer smiled, ushering her along. “Great! I’ll lead the way then. This is actually really good. Safety in numbers and all that. Oh! I’m (Y/n) by the way.”
“Tamayo.” The fugitive found herself sharing without thinking.
“Tamayo-san, a beautiful name for a beautiful woman.” (Y/n) complimented seriously. While Tamayo’s cheeks burned at the notion, (Y/n) continued onward. “I trust you live nearby, it’s a little late to have been planning to walk around the woods by yourself.”
“Yes, I live nearby.” Tamayo lied. It would only complicate things if she came off as a young, homeless woman with nowhere to go.
(Y/n) gave her a curious look, but kept whatever they were wondering to themself. They guided Tamayo out of the ravine and they walked until the stars were visible in the sky.
“How much further?” (Y/n) asked casually as they walked on, giving Tamayo pause.
“Pardon?”
“You said you lived around here. I just want to see you get home safe before I head home too.”
“Um,” Tamayo blinked rapidly as her mind raced for a plausible excuse, but kept coming up empty, “um…”
“Hey, it’s okay.” (Y/n) spoke softly, “I shouldn’t have put you on the spot like that, I’m sorry. It’s just… you seem like you could use some help.”
Tamayo looked away and pressed the back of her hand to her lips in an attempt to keep her emotions in check. (Y/n) was trying to look out for her. Her, a demon so underserving. A hand gently rested upon her back.
“You look tired and worn. When was the last time you had a hot bath or slept in an actual bed? Had a good meal?”
Tamayo shuddered and pulled away from (Y/n)’s touch. The offer was tempting too, tempting, but (Y/n) didn’t know what they were inviting into their home. It would be unfair to take advantage of their kindness.
“I won’t make you spend the night, but come clean up and take some supplies for your journey at least.” (Y/n) persuaded.
The wind blew and carried the scent of (Y/n)’s blood towards Tamayo and she broke.
“Okay… thank you.”
“No problem, come on. We’ll only have to back track a little bit.”
Tamayo followed after (Y/n) and felt a sense of guilt wash over her. She wouldn’t kill them. She promised herself after she escaped Muzan that she would never kill again, but she was so hungry… she would wait until (Y/n) was asleep, take just enough blood to take the edge off and then leave.
“Alright, come on in. It’s not much, but it’s home.”
“It’s cozy. Homey.” Tamayo looked around and hummed appreciatively though she may have been a bit biased after being on the road for so long. It was nice. “Do you live alone?”
“Yup! Just me. Well, and Chachamaru of course.”
“Chachamaru?”
“Mow.”
Tamayo looked down to find a small kitten rubbing its sides on her ankles. She knelt down instantly to give the kitten’s fur gentle pats, cooing softly when it rolled onto its back.
“Sweet thing, isn’t he? I found him alone in the rain a couple weeks ago. I’ll get the bath ready while you two get acquainted.” (Y/n) watched the cute scene a moment more before ducking out of the room.
When (Y/n) returned, they guided Tamayo to the bath and told her to take her time before leaving her alone. Tamayo relished in the hot water, silently berating herself simultaneously. She didn’t feel she deserved this kindness being bestowed upon her. (Y/n) even set out a fresh kimono for her with a lovely red floral pattern against a deep blue. She put it on, and stepped out of the bathroom to find (Y/n).
“In here.” They called out to her.
She followed their voice, and the faint scent of blood, and found them setting up dinner. She thanked them and ate what she could stomach, wishing that the lovingly made food would do anything to stop the hunger she possessed.
She insisted on doing the dishes and when she saw (Y/n) struggling to clean their cuts, she helped them with that too. It was the very least she could do, and she really meant least.
“(Y/n)-san, if it really isn’t too much, I would appreciate it if I could stay the night.”
“Of course you can. Let me set up a room for you quick. You must be exhausted.”
Tamayo barely managed to keep her smile in place long enough for (Y/n) to leave the room. She looked down at Chachamaru and pet the kitten’s soft fur in an attempt to ease her nerves.
(Y/n) showed her to her room, bid her goodnight, and then left to go to their own room.
Tamayo laid in the dark, honing in on the sound of (Y/n)’s heart from across the hall. When it slowed in a manner indicating sleep, Tamayo forced herself out from beneath the soft comforter and crept out into the hall. She slowly slid the door to (Y/n)’s room open and knelt at their side. She took (Y/n)’s arm in her hand and leaned in, carefully reopening one of the small cuts she had cleaned only a few hours before.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered before her lips moved in for a taste. It would take some time to feed from a cut so small, but Tamayo had to pace herself in fear that she would go too far. She was still getting use to life outside of Muzan’s control.
“As long as you’re being careful, I don’t mind.”
Tamayo ripped herself away from (Y/n) in a heartbeat, not stopping until her back hit the wall. Before she could try to scramble away with several apologies falling from her lips, (Y/n) called after her.
“You don’t have to be scared it’s alright. I wasn’t really expecting this, but it’s okay!”
Asking a demon to not be afraid of a defenseless human? It was laughable! Not to mention completely backwards. She should have been telling them that, but it would be a lie. Who wouldn’t be scared of being snacked on by a demon?
“Tamayo-san, hey, it’s okay, just breathe.” (Y/n) made their approach, slowly sliding towards her on hands and knees.
“I’m sorry. I— I’m sorry!“
“Try to relax. I’m not upset with you.”
“How could you not be?” She rose her voice, disgusted with herself.
“You are a good person, Tamayo-san. You just need a little help.”
“I’m not.” Tamayo sobbed. “I’m not even a person!”
“Don’t say that!”
Tamayo was surprised by the sudden outburst. They sounded almost angry at the notion.
“You are a person, a kind person who hums to herself, helps strangers out of brambles and patches them up, and seems to really enjoy the company of cats.” (Y/n) scooted closer, “And that’s only what I managed to learn about you in a handful of hours. I bet you have more amazing qualities just waiting to shine through.”
“I don’t. I’m a monster.” Tamayo didn’t know what else this human needed to see to realize that much.
“The monsters are the ones that stay with him and heed his orders without a care.” They replied, surprising Tamayo.
“You know what I am? You know of…” She was still uneasy with speaking Muzan’s name though she had broken the curse. Even thinking of him weighed heavily on her mind.
“I tried becoming a demon slayer for a time. I wasn’t cut out for it. Even Kakushi work didn’t seem possible for me I’m afraid. I was always pretty good at sensing demons though.” They explained. “You threw me for a loop honestly. I hadn’t sensed a demon like you before. No bloodlust or sinister intentions. I wasn’t even completely sure you were one until just now.”
“I’m sorry to say your senses were wrong about me. The reason I had decided to spend the night was nothing but sinister.”
“Demon’s don’t often care to be as gentle and life preserving as you were, in case you forgot. It’s a hunger that you cannot erase, and it’s not exactly an easy thing to ask someone for. I don’t think I could blame you for that.”
Tamayo simply couldn’t understand this person’s kindness towards her. A person who had attempted to become a demon slayer no less. (Y/n) brought their arm to her face, causing Tamayo to look away in shame.
“You need to feed. You might really hurt someone if you don’t.”
She didn’t want too, but they were right. She had put off gaining nutrients for too long already. Slowly, she turned.
“I’m sorry.”
“I know. It’s okay, take what you need.”
Tamayo didn’t need more persuasion and she loathed that. She took the offered arm, lapped up the streak that had fallen in her absence and then finally latched on to the small wound.
(Y/n) jerked a bit, but when Tamayo’s eyes darted up to meet theirs, they reassured her to keep going. Though Tamayo still felt hunger gnawing at her, she pulled away when she knew she had taken more than her fair share. She didn’t want to take too much and make (Y/n) pass out.
When (Y/n) began to take their arm back Tamayo kept the limb in a gentle, yet firm hold.
“Let me clean this, it’s the least I can do.”
“Thank you.”
It amazed Tamayo how they still managed to smile so brightly at her despite everything. She ducked her head down and darted out of the bedroom to retrieve the necessary supplies.
“You are really good at this.” (Y/n) praised as Tamayo tied off the wrappings.
“When you live as long as I have, you pick up on things.” She replied sullenly. She felt awful. How was she possibly going to settle down anywhere with these cravings? She would have to aimlessly wander the country until the world ended.
She had already overstayed her welcome here, but daylight would soon be upon her again. She didn’t know if there would be enough time to make it back to the cave for the day. Nevertheless she said,
“I should take my leave now.”
Before she could even take a step in the direction of the door, (Y/n) took her by the hand.
“You should stay. Daylight isn’t far off. Besides, you need a game plan.”
“Game plan?”
“You don’t want to wander around for eternity, right? If you want to find a place to settle down, you need the tools to make it happen.”
“I don’t think I’ll be suited for such a life as I am. Pardon me for saying, but it won’t matter what tools I have at my disposal.”
“And pardon me for saying this, but I think you’re wrong.” (Y/n) said with a conspiratorial smile. “I believe you have more power than you think.”
As it would turn out, there was much more to (Y/n) than what met the eye. They showed Tamayo to a secret passage below the reinforced floor of an unassuming closet and led her to a small laboratory tightly packed with books and supplies. Some piles even reached the ceiling of the tight space.
“Sorry for the mess, not a lot of room down here, but I wanted to have a space that wouldn’t be easy to find or destroy.”
“What is all of this?”
“A few years ago, my family was slaughtered by a demon. That demon being a family friend who we had tried to shelter. He lasted about three months without blood before he lost himself and killed everyone.”
“I’m so sorry.” Tamayo gasped behind a dainty hand. So much pain, yet they still wished to help her. It was a lot to take in.
“It was awful. He remembered himself after the frenzy he went into. When I got home, he stayed only long enough to apologize and stepped out into the sun.”
Tamayo shivered.
“I didn’t know what to do with myself. I was so angry and heart broken. So, I tried to join the demon slayers, the Kakushi, but as I told you before it didn’t pan out. I felt as if they had forgotten that demons were humans once too. I thought my time would be better suited trying to find a cure than spending time trying to eradicate a continuously growing problem.”
“A cure?” Tamayo marveled. She hadn’t even considered the possibility. If medicine had changed Muzan’s body, surely another could change it again.
“I have nothing substantial yet. I must admit, I’m not much of a scientist, but I have compiled a lot of research on the matter. Whatever you might know about Kibutsuji could provide useful too. You seem to have a knack for medicine as well.”
“I’ve dabbled over the years…” Tamayo modestly replied. She had been interested in medicine even before she had became a demon. (Y/n) seemed to notice the downplay and an amused huff of air left their nose.
“Okay Doctor Tamayo, let me give you a tour.”
***
Twenty Years Later
Tamayo hummed to herself as she warmed the tea when a furry body brushed against her ankles.
“Good Morning Chachamaru,” she smiled, bending down to pet the cat, “Is our (Y/n) waking up too?”
“Mow.”
“Morning.” (Y/n) spoke through a yawn. When Tamayo rose back to her full height, they draped their arms over Tamayo’s shoulders and kissed her forehead, making blush. She still wasn’t used to their displays of affection.
“Good morning, I made tea and miso.”
“I see, thank you very much. It’s so cold today.” They yawned again and snuggled closer, making Tamayo laugh.
They had come so far in those twenty short years. They felt like a blink in time for Tamayo and in a way, they were. In those years, she stayed as untouched by time as usual while (Y/n) grew older. It made her envious as well as concerned.
They still hadn’t made much headway in finding a cure. It weighed on Tamayo sometimes to watch (Y/n) grow older while she stayed the same.
“You’re thinking I’m old again, aren’t you?” (Y/n) pouted, squeezing Tamayo’s cheeks.
“No…” Tamayo could never tell (Y/n) a convincing lie to save her life.
“What was my hardworking doctor working on last night I wonder.” They noticed the sheepish look on Tamayo’s face and kissed her cheek. “You wouldn’t have to worry about me leaving you behind if you focused on the cure over trying to find out how to turn me into a demon.”
“I know, but I’m so much closer with understanding the science of demonification. I was able to turn Chachamaru after all. He’s as spry as he was when he was a kitten.”
“Okay, I’m older but I’m not hobbled old cat old.” (Y/n) joked. “I think I’ve got another good forty or fifty years in me.”
They then saw a sorrowful look cross Tamayo’s face and they held her closer, letting her bury her face in their shoulder.
“It’ll be alright,” they comforted, “Even if I don’t see the day a cure is developed. You keep working hard, okay?”
“I don’t think I could do it without you. I really don’t.” Tamayo sniffled, “I’ve already had to lose so much. I don’t want to lose you too,” she pulled back slightly, “If I do figure out how to turn humans, would you let me?”
“Then who would you get your blood from? Where would I?”
“We’d go to Tokyo like we talked about and buy blood under the guise of using it for transfusions. There are more opportunities in the city, as you’ve said. Perhaps we’d learn more there than we could here. There is so much innovation in the cities, I’m sure we could find something.” Tamayo spoke passionately, (Y/n) watched her continue reasoning with adoration until they motioned her to quiet herself.
“If you do figure it out, as I am sure you will my clever doctor, then I won’t leave your side for as long as the earth spins. We both know what it’s like to lose all too well. For you, I will stay if that is what you desire.”
“Of course.” Tamayo squeezed (Y/n) tight. A life as a demon was a lot to ask someone for. She would take full responsibility. Should the time come that they would pass on, she would take any repercussions for her choices with her head held high. “Thank you.”
Tamayo’s gaze shifted shyly between their lips and eyes, a cautious and silent question that was soon answered when they closed the distance between them.
Tamayo would figure out how Muzan spread his disease and how to destroy it one day, but for this morning all she wanted was to be held and fantasize about a normal life with (Y/n) a little while longer.
As they swayed in each other’s embrace, the tea and miso growing cold, Tamayo hummed a peaceful melody and (Y/n) harmonized along, reminding the demon doctor of an craggy cave and a weedy pond on a warm summer’s day.

Ooooh and you have a cool quirk too!
You got an kind and loving demeanor teachers, school staffs pro hero's tell the students to do not get in your bad side
Because one time you beat the hell up off a villain trying to take an important medicine off your desk
Almost ended up in tartarus for almost keeling him😀
Would have a favorite patient, which is Izuku (even though he ykyk)
The type of worker in the nurses office who would let in students that has maybe a fever, tummyache or some other stuff rest in the clinic bed (even when theyre pretending just to skip classes) you aint snitching
Would be good at guilt tripping students 100% like : "Aren't you supposed to be in class my dear?, you shouldn't waste your efforts just to sleep right?"
The student would end up leaving 💀💀💀💀 and like : "Oh right"🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

sitting by her desk, she was quietly working as the night sky shone with stars. you appeared beside her, she wasn’t surprised of course, because she heard you from the moment you decided to climb the stairs and reach her study.
“i told you to wait for me,” she murmured then as you leaned over her shoulder and took a look before moving your hands to her thighs, squeezing them gently. “got bored.”
she rolled her eyes then, before refocusing on her work. you moved your palms under her kimono and started caressing her fair skin as your lips found her neck, kissing and sucking slowly.
“and impatient,” she added then, putting her pen down. she sighed and then closed her eyes, relaxing against your front. “you can work on this stuff tomorrow, c’mon…”
“you’re the real demon here,” she chuckled softly, a bit embarrassed before getting up and following you to the bedroom. you always convince her to drop everything and follow you.

LADY TAMAYO
She had been putting up with your behavior all day. It was exhausting, to say the least. Whenever she asked you to do something, you’d combat it with ‘why? You’re not the boss of me!’
Oh you bet your ass she was the boss of you.
She made it a point to remind you.
Her hands trailed up your skirt, stopping inches away from the growing wet spot on your panties. It seems that your teasing had finally pushed her over the edge.
But you weren’t willing to back down so easily.
“Oh? I thought you were busy?” You smirked and spread your legs further, allowing her to rest between them.
“I am.” She replied curtly, her expression unreadable as she slid your panties to the side and brushed over your clit. You let out a soft moan and chuckled softly.
“Well I’m happy that you finally decided to take the hint.” You let out a pleased sigh, closing your eyes and relaxing into her touch.
But she pulled away as soon as you did, leaving you frustrated.
“Like I said. I’m busy.” She said strictly, turning her back to you with a dismissive wave. “Now you can either help, and be rewarded later. Or you can continue with this and be punished.” You looked at her in slight surprise, your expression slowly contorting into a scowl as you contemplated her offer.
“Fine.”
“That’s my good girl.”
HANGE ZOE
You.
It was always you.
You annoyed them the most whenever they were busy. And you refused to stop. It was terrible, but they supposed it was their fault that you were the way you are.
“Y/n. Could you please stop. I need to finish this report.” They finally snapped, slamming their pen onto the desk and shooting you a bold glare that sent powerful shivers down your spine.
“I’m bored.” You huffed, crossing your arms as you leaned against the wall. “You promised that we’d go out. Or at least do something together.” Your frustration was understandable, and Hange couldn’t blame you for feeling that way, but usually you were pretty understanding when it came to their work.
“Well you know better than to bother me while I’m working.” They sighed heavily and put on a half smirk, slowly rising from their seat and walking towards you. Their arms snaked around your waist and pulled you close, their breath warm against your ear.
“Can you be good for me? I make no promises that we’ll go out, but you’ll get a reward nonetheless.” Their seductive approach took you by surprise, leaving you speechless as you nodded in response. “There we go.” They chuckled and returned to their desk, their back turned to you as your face flushed red.
Oh man you were in for it.
KAFKA
“My darling. I’m in the middle of work right now.” Kafka sighed and ignored your attempts at teasing her. She slapped away the hand that trailed up her thigh, waving a knowing finger at you before she resumed her writing.
“You know you want it.” You leaned forward, resting your head on her shoulder as your hand returned, it’s touch gentle and taunting. You wanted her to respond, to tell her how much of a tease you had been while tearing your clothing from your body.
But she was so calm.
The opposite of how you wanted to see her.
“Come on Kafka darling.” You whispered into her ear, nibbling on the shell of it softly. “Don’t be a killjoy.”
“Oh?” She looked at you, raising an eyebrow. It was as if she was beginning to accept your challenge. “Me? A killjoy?” She chuckled and placed a hand on your cheek. “I think you’ve got it all wrong. The most fun you’ve ever had is with me.” Her hand came back and hit your ass harshly, causing you to let out a surprised yelp.
When had she moved her hand?
She repeated the action, her face serious as she glared at you. “You’ve been being such a bad girl, Y/n.” She smirked and stood from her seat, moving you so that you were now pinned against her desk. “Let me show you how we behave around here, alright?”

Previous Chapter: Prologue Next Chapter: Chapter 2
a/n: FINALLY!
Hello!!! Okay, first and foremost, I apologize for the delay in updating. So much has happened in the previous three months, and writing was the last thing on my mind for two reasons: one, I don't want to write while I'm in a bad mood because I know it will affect the quality of my writing, and two, I didn't have the energy to do anything. But don't worry, everything is back to normal now. I'm back on my feet and improving steadily. Thank you very much for your understanding! I've read your comments and greatly appreciate them all.
Invisible Strings is coming to a close, but don't worry, I've got fresh stories for you!
So keep an eye out for it!

Under the high and bright sun, a sense of unease permeated the air. Despite the pleasant weather, tension clung to the surroundings as everyone anxiously waited outside the operating room where Shinobu would perform the procedure on you.
Sitting on a bench just outside the room, Tengen's large frame appeared hunched and weighed down by worry. His palms had grown clammy, and his hand remained pressed against his temple as if trying to hold his anxiety at bay. He made a conscious effort to appear calm and collected, understanding that being on edge wouldn't be of any help, but the fear of witnessing your life slip away before his eyes loomed over him relentlessly.
Shinobu had assured them that the operation would go smoothly and wouldn't take long. However, she had also warned them of the inevitable—the fact that Muzan, the source of your suffering, was still alive and thriving, his very existence siphoning away your life force. There remained a grim possibility that he would emerge during the procedure, leading to a battle they could only hope to swiftly win.
Worst-case scenarios loomed in the back of everyone's minds. Should Muzan retain even a shred of consciousness while Shinobu worked, he might react violently and attempt to escape, potentially taking your life in an instant.
In a stroke of luck, the outcome could mean severe injuries for you, with Muzan's blood seeping into your wounds, triggering a transformation into a demon. It wasn't an ideal situation, but it provided a temporary respite since your injuries would heal rapidly and Shinobu could administer an antidote to revert you back to being human. It was a preferable outcome compared to the alternative—losing you and your friends desperately trying to revive you.
As soon as Tengen heard these possibilities, color drained from his face, and the memory of that fateful night replayed in his mind, each detail etched into his consciousness like a broken tape.
He couldn't bear the thought of losing you again.
After years of yearning, the heavens had finally granted him the chance to be reunited with you, to build a life together, and to find their happily ever after. Losing you now would shatter him beyond repair. With a tumultuous storm of emotions raging within him, Tengen failed to notice the tremor coursing through his body until Sanemi approached, offering a reassuring pat on the back.
"I feel like I'm teetering on the edge of losing my sanity," Tengen murmured, his voice barely audible as he clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white from the strain. The visible anxiety weighed heavily on him.
Sitting beside Tengen, Sanemi let out a frustrated sigh, his grip on the hilt of his sword tightening. Each member of their group carried their Nichirin swords, a tangible reminder of the impending battle they were about to face. While a sense of nostalgia lingered in the air, it quickly gave way to an overwhelming dread that permeated their very beings.
As much as Sanemi desired to console his dear friend, he too felt his own mind spiraling. However, unlike Tengen, Sanemi had learned over time to keep his composure intact, though his anxiety still simmered beneath the surface.
The image of you screaming, thrashing, and nearly slipping away from his grasp had etched itself into Sanemi's mind without his consent. To this day, he hadn't fully come to terms with the trauma of that moment, and whenever it resurfaced in his thoughts, a shiver would race down his spine, leaving him in a state of profound fear.
The revelation that you two were related only intensified the fear. You had become immeasurably precious to him, and the mere thought of losing you now would undoubtedly shatter his heart.
After enduring so much, it seemed as though the universe refused to grant you a moment's respite. At times, Sanemi found himself wanting to curse whatever higher power existed for subjecting you to such agonizing torment.
With clasped hands, Sanemi silently offered his own prayer, seeking solace and protection for your well-being. Tengen caught a glimpse of the Wind Hashira's solemn gesture, and for the first time that day, a small, genuine smile graced his lips.
Meanwhile, Tengen, in an effort to find inner calm, took a deep breath, allowing the air to fill his lungs and steady his racing thoughts. If all of you managed to make it through this ordeal unscathed, he vowed to himself that he would hasten to the nearest jewelry store, purchase the most extravagant ring, and finally ask for your hand in marriage.
So, please, y/n, return to me safely. Don't allow him to corrupt you again.
*
The air inside the operating room grew increasingly icy and tense as Shinobu focused on the delicate task of removing Muzan's cells that had taken residence on your descending thoracic aorta, a mere few inches away from your heart. Navigating this intricate part of the human body was already nerve-wracking, but the stakes were even higher now. One wrong move could seal your fate and alter the course of the entire world.
Despite not having had many interactions with you yet, Shinobu had heard nothing but praise. She learned about your remarkable generosity when she discovered the substantial donation you had made to the charity she founded several years ago—a charity dedicated to helping abandoned children. The cause resonated deeply with her, as she believed that no child should suffer the way she had. Her own tragic past, in which she lost everything to Muzan, fueled her determination to ensure that every child had a chance to live happily and safely.
Shinobu had always taken great pride in her surgical skills and her role as an ally of the healthcare sector. However, even she couldn't deny the uneasiness that gripped her this time. That's why, even in times of relative peace, Shinobu never let her guard down and meticulously prepared for a day like this. With the advancements in technology and access to vast knowledge and resources, she had the tools to devise safety measures, including more potent antidotes to transform demons back into humans and deadlier poisons to combat formidable foes like Kibutsuji Muzan.
Together with her comrades, she refused to let history repeat itself. She was determined to prevent further tragedies at all costs, even if it meant sacrificing her own life in the process.
Thus far, the procedure has progressed smoothly. There were no anomalies as Shinobu painstakingly extracted the contaminated cells, and your vital signs remained strong and stable. While she dared not celebrate prematurely, she took this as a positive sign—a glimmer of hope that everything would turn out alright.
In a way, consider it a favorable omen—a whisper of reassurance in the midst of uncertainty.
*
The hazy plain stretched out before you as you stood, fully conscious and aware of your surroundings. The wind tousled your hair gently, creating a soft, ethereal effect. Though you were alone, a sense of another presence lingered in the air. Your hands trembled, and your throat felt dry with anticipation as you awaited his arrival. There was no doubt in your mind that Muzan would make his appearance, and you steeled yourself for the inevitable confrontation.
Suddenly, the atmosphere grew colder, and with a blink of an eye, there he stood. Muzan, towering over you, radiated an air of arrogance, as if his previous defeat had never touched him. His smug expression revealed his confidence, as if he had already achieved his twisted victory.
Decades had passed, but the mere presence of Muzan sent shivers down your spine. It took every ounce of strength not to run away, but you knew that if you didn't face him now, you would never be able to forgive yourself. You had made it your life's mission to never be defeated by him again. He was nothing more than a relic from your past, a powerless being who held no sway over you. There was no reason to cower in his presence.
"You were nothing but a pawn, a mere tool in my hands. However, you surprised me by sinking your fangs into my neck, deeper than anyone ever has. Your audacity impresses me, Y/N." Muzan sneered, his voice laced with disdain. "If only I had known your zeal earlier, I could have utilized you more effectively. You could have been of greater use to me. If you had sought love and devotion, you should have opened your mouth to me. I could have given you so much more, Y/N. You could have been my queen in the world I sought to build."
"Do you even comprehend the meaning of love, Muzan? I highly doubt such purity exists within you." You scoffed, unable to contain your disdain.
For a brief moment, his expression darkened, revealing cracks in his already fragile patience. However, he quickly regained his composure, maintaining a condescending smile as he continued to gaze at you.
"It saddens me that you underestimate me, Y/N."
A chill ran down your spine as you felt him move behind you. His arm coiled around your waist, pulling you closer. Your heart raced as his breath tickled your ear, and instinctively, your body tensed.
"I know how to charm a woman, you know," he whispered.
"Get your hands off me," you demanded.
Muzan chuckled, seemingly amused by your feeble attempt to intimidate him. His grip tightened, a silent warning that he held the upper hand.
"I've changed my mind, Y/N. I won't kill you. You are too valuable to dispose of. Once I am revived, you will be my queen. I will shower you with adoration and restore your immortality. Surely, that will make your pathetic heart dance with joy, won't it?"
You couldn't help but laugh, though it was short-lived, replaced by a piercing glare. "Go to hell, Muzan."
*
The sight before them was beyond comprehension. Shock and horror enveloped everyone, leaving them frozen in disbelief. Even the most skilled Hashira couldn't react to the gruesome scene that unfolded before their eyes.
Tengen's heart pounded in his chest as he stared at your lifeless body and the gaping wound in your chest where Muzan had emerged. The sight was grotesque, sending waves of revulsion through his entire being. His mind struggled to process what had just transpired, unable to fathom the depths of the tragedy that had befallen you.
Muzan, basking in his newfound revival, reveled in the chaos he had unleashed. His ruby eyes gleamed with sadistic pleasure as he took in the shocked faces of those around him. Standing there, naked and unashamed, he relished the moment, relishing in the fear and despair that radiated from the onlookers.
As his gaze fell upon Tengen, a malicious grin twisted Muzan's face, a chilling display of his malevolence. With a voice laced with contempt, he uttered those chilling words, taunting Tengen with his sinister condolences.
The weight of those words crushed Tengen's soul, sending a wave of grief and anger surging through him. The love of his life was torn away from him in the cruelest manner imaginable, and now he stood face to face with the very monster responsible for it all.
Tengen's body trembled with rage and sorrow, and his fists clenched tightly. In that moment, a fire ignited within him, fueling his determination to avenge your tragic fate and rid the world of Muzan's vile existence.
