I have so many feelings after finishing Sweet Home S2, I'm just gonna word vomit it here :')

TL;DR - solid 4.9/10 . . . so disappointing fr 😭 Eunyu saved this season.

WTF WITH ALL THE STORYLINES???? And they're also half-baked and inconclusive??? They tried to get too niche with the military crew and the subway shelter people, the main cast that evacuated there got lost in all of it. LITERALLY I do not give a damn about Chief Ji and her irritating daughter. Master Sargant Tak is kind of interesting, but also they tried to do too much (without doing ANYTHING) with the whole Yicheon storyline, Master Sargant Tak didn't get the attention his background deserved. At least from what I can tell, he serves as a parallel to Hyunsu, which had so much potential, but fell so flat. I felt no emotional attachment to Yicheon and his gf. Hell, I thought Yicheon was just a civilian at first LOL. I thought he was just a guy playing soldier taking off on runs. His gf is also so irritating - one minute she doesn't care for him, the next minute she's pressuring the soldiers to go find him. Ugh - so non-committal. I can see what they were trying to do, trying to show her dilemma of not wanting him to suffer for her, but still wanting him, but they portrayed her character so poorly, I was annoyed LOL.

I also wish they developed the little boy, Yeong-su's character better. Again, so much potential to highlight the struggles of a kid growing up amidst an apocalypse, losing his sister, and basically being raised by strangers, but they didn't . . . .

Can we also talk about Park Chanyoung . . . I'm so sorry for the Park Chanyoung lovers - he's cute, but so fucking annoying to me LOL. Don't get me wrong, his heart is in a good place, but he puts too much trust in infrastructures that don't serve anyone and keeps getting people in trouble. He acts rashly without a plan and it's innocent and I can see how some people swoon, but BRUH?? If you come save me, I want at least a 51% guarantee that this might work? I think he's supposed to be the second lead, but I honestly couldn't tell for sure. I too would be annoyed, Eunyu!!! He's so nosy, tryna save ppl and all - like just leave her alone damn.

Now, where was Song Kang throughout all of this??? 😭 I know they were trying to highlight other parts of the storyline, but this whole series is centered around him being ✨different✨ You get a taste of it, but it's not well-explored (AGAIN! Y'all sensing a theme here?). He fights with gangster aghussi, gets turned into stone, somehow escapes, and while the world goes to shit, he sits on a boat and raises Yikyung's daughter - like aight LOL. The vaccine storyline was abandoned when it was the center of all of S1 - no closure at all. I will admit, the addition of the mad scientist was great and I LOVE the actor who played him. However, again . . . I wished they developed that more.

In summary of all the things I didn't like about this season: they tried to do too much with too little, the lack of development and details in the new (and old) characters and plots made this season incredibly frustrating to watch. The beauty of the last season was that though there were a lot of residents in the Green Home Apartments, they picked a few characters to focus on and highlight their backgrounds and how it impacts their decisions in the moment. Even the characters that didn't matter that much (my mind goes to the nurse played by Go Eun), you felt some sort of attachment too because they were just known for that one thing. I didn't feel that way about any of the characters this season.

In regards to the things I actually liked, I really enjoyed Eunyu's character development. This is the one thing this season kept consistent and did well. You can see how the trauma of losing her brother then others of the Green Home community hardens her; yet, there's always a piece of her that's still the rebellious teenage ballerina that brings you back to season 1. When she and Hyunsu reunited like- 😭😭😭😭 I know they hardly had screen time together in both S1 and S2 LOL, but IDK, something about they're chemistry is so good. Loser!Hyunsu and Eunyu were a really cute intro in S1 and even though we only got that one scene of them making pinky promises, the innocence and care carries into S2 after all they've been through. It's just a nice sigh of relief and the silver lining to the whole situation.

The little crumb's of plot twists were also kind of reassuring: Yikyung's kid and her husband who is gangster aghussi who isn't gangster aghussi, the monsters evolving, and Eunhyeok flopping out of an egg at the END??!!

All in all, I have little good to say about this season. It lacks the intimacy and detail of the first season. Even though there isn't a sense of finality to S1, the storylines and characters are at least WHOLE. I cannot say the same about this season, some parts felt rushed, simply just there to wrap up something (thinking of Yikyung's timeline) and other parts were just unnecessary (Yicheon and his gf bruh - I cannot lmfao).

Anyways, I'll still watch S3 . . . mostly for Go Minsi because I've come to love her acting and the mad scientist. Admittedly too . . . um . . . I think I've hopped on the Song Kang train - HELP LMFAO

You know what Harry reminds me of… Tom Hiddleston. Bear with me, but I use to be a huge fan of hiddle and there are quite a bit of similarities to their relationships. For example, Tom has never addressed his relationships and basically said, “I’m single until there’s something to write home about.” & “I’m trying to find a balance between my personal and work life so I can protect the person I’m with and my privacy.” And he said the first part while he was clearly dating someone which is like, Ouch to her. Then one day he gets gets into a big PR relationship with Taylor Swift and the fandom, which is just as crazy as Harries, was like WTF happened to keeping thing quiet. It was crazy and overexposed and seemed like a bad telenovela. The relationship and press went bad, he became a joke and a fool and had to pretty much hide and become very humble. Now he has a serious relationship that he has never confirmed at all, just the press, and they have been dating for years. They even lived together during quarantine while he filmed Loki in ATL for a year and the fans moved mountains to deny it because “he never confirmed it”. But things happened like his neighbor confirming or posting about it and fans said they were paid to say so. Then fans tried to say that it was PR because they have the same management group and she made moves like Olivia, too. Liking pics on fan accounts, leaking info here and there, becoming friends with all his friends. And to this day when Tom’s with her public they don’t touch and aren’t affectionate at all, like he even walks in faster then her and she is seen trailing behind him. They look very lackluster and you wouldn’t think they were together if you saw them. Eventually they were papped on a beach swimming and sharing one kiss in the water and after a year of nothing his fans have just accepted it. Difference between her and the hag is that Tom’s gf/fiancé changed and stopped acting like a child.

Now there are so many patterns and I don’t know if it’s because they are both Aquarius’ or what but I think that this is how Harry will handle anyone he dates in the future. If you like public affection or confirmation or whatever then he is not the one to date. Which is sad on some many levels like that he feels he has to act this way and that the world forced him to act this way. Also, Tom dropped a-lot of interaction with his fans as well and leaves that to comic cons and work related things. I think the more people push against Harry’s relationships he may settle for whoever will accept these terms even if its for love or like or could be completely wrong altogether. And maybe Harry feels like he is genuinely in a “real relationship”; we do not know what happens between two people in a relationship only what we see on the outside, so who knows. Now I do not like the hag at ALL because I think she’s a love bombing trash bag who did some research and preyed on Harry. So that makes me think that if Harry spent a good portion of alone time to get to know an idea of her prior to the wedding and after during March-Sept then maybe he feels like its an adult relationship, I say him because I’m sure the hag is not being truthful on her end. Just my thoughts from my observation of both fandoms. Don’t @ me.

4) a trait they’re ashamed of

How he acts when his depression spikes up. There’s a lot of different factors about this that make him ashamed. Firstly, the fact that small tasks overwhelm him, like doing the dishes, cleaning the house, doing his laundry, or even cooking for himself. Something about these tasks just feels so much more difficult to him when his depression gets worse and it makes him feel like a slob or that he’s too lazy for not just doing the chores. However, this has gotten easier when Logan comes around as she offers to help him in getting the tasks done, knowing that he just needs a friendly nudge to get through it, as Emery hasn’t cooked in about a century so Logan makes sure Heath doesn’t skip meals.

The other aspect about his depression that makes him really ashamed is that he feels like when people know that he’s feeling depressed they constantly baby him. He gets the impression that both Logan and Emery seem to start waiting on him hand and foot. And these have two effects on him; one it sorta makes him feel more helpless as he feels like he isn’t a good, proper, functional adult, who instead seem to oversleep and have his roommate and girlfriend do everything for him; and two that he’s taking advantage of them by them taking on his responsibilities.

As a lot of time Heath will put on a ‘’brave face’’ to hint that fact he feels so shitty so that Logan and Emery don’t start fawning over him, which in turn tends to make him feel worse cause he’d kept everything bottled up which he knows is just as bad, but he really doesn’t want to hinder his friends.

8) something they do that hurts others

Heath always tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, he believes that there it is good in people even if that person seems awful and that everybody has the possibility to change for the better. And to be honest within my stories, with Emery, with Rox, Heath is right and he has been able to brighten their life and I just make them both better people ok that makes him sound like an “I can fix them” individual but he honestly just made them both feel like miserable. Shows them kindness when most people reject them or fear them) But something with his good-natured viewpoint Heath has -let's say ‘’brushed off’’ his friends' displeasure with other people who they say have wronged them. A good example of that is Ramiel, Heath’s ex. Ramiel is both a monster hunter and ‘’sister’’ to Samael (and you’ve seen how warm and cuddly he is) Unlike Sam though Rai is very good at feigning emotion, and therefore is an expert manipulator. While she acted all sweet and nice in front of Heath to gain his trust and romantic affections, she was psychotically nasty to Emery as she preyed on both Emery’s fear of listing control and hurting the only friend that she’s had in a few decades, Ramiel also slowly drove a wedge between Heath and Emery as she added to the hint of doubt in Heath about Emery’s whole monstrous nature. When Emery tried to confront Ramiel, Rai would smile and say “I could kill you and that fortune-telling fool would be on my side, cause what’s he really gonna believe? That an angel has been threatening you? Or that his monster hunter gf stopped his out of control vampire roommate from hurting him and others? And even if you managed to kill me, what’s it gonna do but martyrize me and just prove my point that you're nothing more than a monstrosity that needs a stake through that black unfeeling heart hidden beneath those massive tits?”

And there may have been some incidents where Ramiel would bring home an intoxicated Heath with the intent to take advantage of him, only for Emery to be like ‘’wtf, hell no. leave the poor boy alone’’ And Rai only like “well I’m horny, so unless you got a better solution.’’ Yeah Ramiel is the worse

And unfortunately, this manipulation worked on Heath, as he bought it hook, line, and sinker. Whenever Emery would bring up the stuff Ramiel was doing, be thought that she was being overdramatic or making stuff up cause Emery didn’t like Rai and just wanted her to leave. It wasn’t until Ramiel and Heath’s ‘’Breakup’’ that Heath saw how true Emery’s concerns about Ramiel were and realized how much he had hurt Emery but not taking her warnings and complaints seriously. And he felt really bad for putting Emery through that experience.

10) a way that they are improving on any of the above!

Well, he does take anti-depressants and he is more honest with Logan when he is feeling shitty as she says that it is best to be open with each other about their feeling good and bad. But Logan makes no promises as being any less loving when he feels down as he does the same for her when she’s not in the bad moods, her actions just feel magnified to him when he’s feeling poorly.

As for hurting his friends, he tried to be a little more guarded around people his friends have told him aren’t as deserving of his kindness, but it is still a bit difficult because until he actually sees that person’s nasty side, he wants to believe they're not a horrible person.

Thanks for the ask @icybreaths, I hope hearing his flaw doesn't decrease your fondness for Heath. I actually have no idea if you like Heath as a character, I feel like that is just an assumption I have as he is a favorite of mine

"no??? leave me alone????" because his new gf thinks I'm a threat because her "past relationships" were about her ex's ending up cheating on her with their previous partners like wtf I'm not after him we broke up MUTUALLY for a reason and they both think I'm still into him after we've literally been split up for a year wtf.... I barley even spoke to the guy the entire time idk what he's telling her

ohhhhh no anon I am so sorry to hear!!! These situations really suck

I have also experienced the ex who wouldnt leave me alone every time he got out of a relationship, and the best thing I ever did was hit the ol block on every social media platform I had them on.

It’s really unfortunate that your ex’s new gf feels this way too, from her perspective its really hard to not think something is going to happen again when you’ve experienced it once before. Many people carry trauma from their past relationships around even if its little things. I think you are doing the right thing by barely speaking to this guy anymore, and you’re doing nothing wrong!

Sometimes it just takes a new couple to settle down and work through each other’s personal issues and past and im so sorry that you got caught up in it. I hope things work out for you!!!

It’s not like you really cared (you did care) if he spaced himself from you or not. It’s the fact that he won’t return your text or even respond to you when you try to figure out why.

It wasn’t till you stopped bothering him about it and just looked depressed all the time did he say something to you. (Plus maybe the help of Kenny bitching at him)

He invited you to the park so he could clear things up. Nothing to strange right? Wrong, he didn’t complain or cuss once when he called you to tell you to come to the park.

You anxiousness went up ten fold.

Now this whole situation wouldn’t be as bad as it was if he could stop throwing a tantrum. It was honestly ridiculous.

Now the thing to know about Kyle is he has a short temper. (If not obvious) So he’ll start yell. Not at you but at nothing but his feelings. He’ll explain(yell) everything to you. Maybe even start tearing up a small bit once he realizes that he basically just admitted his feeling for you when he’s already in a relationship.

You’ll do what you’ve always done when he was upset. Just stare at him cause holy hell him yelling is hot… but even if he didn’t have a girlfriend or he was dating you you’d never tell him that🥺👉👈

BUT ANYWAY the whole situation was confusing to you both. You saying that if he loves you than it should be you but if he lives his girlfriend than yeah. This can’t be in the whim feeling.

Y’all do end up fighting a lot about this situation actually, you both having feeling for each other and than everything else that’s going on.

It doesn’t last to long though, the whole him having a girlfriend problem at least. She broke up with him like 2 days later, her saying that he wasn’t invested in her at all and that he curses to much.

So it’s just a matter of when y’all will actually do something.

It’s not like he talked to often so him being quiet for long amounts of time wasn’t out of the ordinary. What was out of the ordinary was him not even being in the same room as you and purposely giving excuses not to.

It honestly hurt you way more than you could ever thought. It’s not like you put to much effort in getting ahold of him. You were desperate but didn’t want to seem it. It wasnt till you sent a voicemail and you sounded like you were on the verge of tears he called you back.

Y’all talked for hours over the phone. A very emotionally draining conversation at that. But he didn’t want to cheat on his girlfriend so he started pushing you away. It was a relief it was something like this and not something you did.

Although your relationship is confusing at the moment you’ll both get through it. Apparently you’ve both liked each other for a while so now, it was only a matter of appropriate time.

Stan Marsh

You knew something was up. He’s always been Mr. Romeo when it came to girlfriends so you thought that he was probably just getting some extra brownie points with his girlfriend when he started hanging out with Wendy more than you.

Well when he noticed you stopped trying to get his attention he broke. Well he broke down telling you when you found him drunk.

Haha… well it’s not like you could do much when he’s drunk other than baby him until he’s more sober.

When he did sober up he refused to admit that he had the conversation and then after you insisted he finally actually talked to you about the whole situation.

Honestly he made it harder on him than he needed to but talking about it made him feel better and more confident about going forward.

Butters Stotch

When you went to confront him about it, it didn’t take long for him to admit it and explain things, especially since he didn’t mean to hurt you.

Apparently Charlotte found out about his feelings for you and demanded that he stop hanging out with you, despite her being in Canada and not being able to do shit.

“M-man I’m sorry (Y/n). I-I didn’t m-mean to worry you…” “Its alright Butters. I um I have feelings for you too. But until you figure yourself out we’ll leave us as friends.”

So until he figures it out y’all are gonna try not to have to much tension (though there’s so much that even Eric is pitying you) and just continue to hang out.

So an Insidious Leatherface decides to be an ass and camp the Basement in the boat on the swamp. He’s at the top of the stairs and slightly off to the side behind some boxes/barrels, out of line of sight from the one direction that I guess he expected ppl to come from because that side is where the Basement is? His terror radius is GONE. Anyway, I saw him at a distance and Urban Evaded around to the other entrance of the boat and slipped behind him and into the Basement. I was waiting for one of the others to come closer so he’d move - revealing his terror radius - so I could use Borrowed Time(and it worked!). So while Laurie runs, I loudly rush into a Locker and then slowly get out and Urban Evade behind the side wall by the Hooks. Laurie makes use of Borrowed Time and gets away, and Leatherface comes down, goes right by me toward the back to check the Lockers and I slip around him again and use Sprint Burst to get out. He must have seen my scratch marks because he rage-quit before I even got off the boat! XD

Got several great swf Escapes(Tuesday)! Running Unbreakable and Borrowed Time with friends is the best decision. And we both were running Flashlights too!

So we had a match against a Ghost Face and Friend asks me, “What Rank would you say this is?” cuz the dude was whiffing a shit ton on all of us and got Gen-rushed. I suggested “Rank 17″ to which I was told I was being way too generous. And when he got my friend on a Hook finally I was right there to unHook him with BT and while I got downed, he used it to get me with BT and we 360′d GF a few times, Flashlight Blinded him each, then ran away, Healed up in the shack, and finished the Gens. We were able to Rescue Meg from the Hook by distracting and body-blocking all the way to the door Ace opened, and the Killer kind of gave up after ruthlessly tunneling Meg for the last 3 Gens. He stood there while we Healed her up in the door and then we all teabagged and Flashlighted him for points before leaving. Turns out he was a Rank 17 and it was then that we felt bad for our endgame behavior. Juking a newb with only two Tier 1 Perks isn’t something to get cocky about even if it provided amusing content.

^I don’t teabag or Flashlight Flick until I’m inside the door because doing so mid-match is inviting the Killer to be a douche in return. If I were to do that and get tunneled and then camped, I wouldn’t mind because I knew I invited it upon myself. Simple. And you know, GF did not Disconnect so he’s got more guts than a lot of Red Rank Killers out there.

Got to lead a Huntress on a long loop while the last dude lay dying on the ground next to us. He crawls away while I’m looping and ducking under Iridescent hatchets, and uses Unbreakable to get away. She gets distracted, looking for where he went, and I use Sprint Burst to get to the shack so I can loop her there instead. It was great! Eventually I was able to use Urban Evasion to get away from the shack and she stayed there for like 2 minutes, looking for me in the lockers up top and then in the basement while I did the Gen near the shack that gave me a perfect view through the window. I finished the last Gen, David was going for the far door(the 1 was next to me and he wouldn’t dare be on that side of the map with the Huntress while Injured), and I used Adrenaline to get across the map to him. She rage-quit before we actually got out.

I had 6 matches in a row today(Wednesday), where it was Red Ranks against newb Killers. All Ranks 17-20, all running Tier 1 Perks. All whiffing so badly that they all ended up rage-quitting about a minute into the match. I waited about 20 minutes each time just to get into a match, only for the Killers to DC because they don’t get their way in the first 60 seconds. But you know, there’s nothing wrong with the MMR right now! We’re all just whiny babies over here.

Had a Huntress with Whispers and when she’d search my area I’d pick a hiding spot and end up hiding next to a Hex Totem! She had 4 Hex Perks! Anyway, I Cleansed all of them and then Urban Evaded a distance away to watch her check the area out and find nothing!

Did the Exhaustion Build again! I had some great games and then I got Shelter Woods. It’s the only map without a drop point. There’s a big tree in the center of the map that you can kind of run up on the roots, but the drop isn’t high enough most of the time. Few people manage to do it just right to get Balanced Landing to work. It was a bit of a bummer.

Got an Oni to waste his precious power on me 2 times in a row, because he sucked at turning mid-sprint. 3 Gens got done in that time and he finally left me because he used up all the blood in the area leftover from the beginning of the match when a Nea ran him for a bit. He never got in a hit and refused to try to hit me for the rest of the match, which let me get a whole Gen done by myself!

Ended up bullying a Rank 19 Wraith who only had Tier 1 Deerstalker and a Bone Clapper add-on. He came at me in the beginning and I ran him around the same loop in a corner for 2 minutes before I randomly threw down the pallet and the used Lithe with it on my next run around. We ran him around so bad and then felt bad in the endgame lobby when we saw the details. This matchmaking is really bad right now. It isn’t fair to all players.

Had a Michael on Midwich. Ran around with this Nea cuz she had Prove Thyself and we got a Gen done and most of another before she ran away cuz Michael was coming. He tunneled Nea for the last 3 Gens because she made him drop someone with her Flashlight. So it’s her last Hook and she has Borrowed Time on. He finally downs her, but she has DS and gets free. I’m following behind in hopes that I can help somehow. She gets him to the other side of the building and downstairs before going down in a room with no Hooks. I make him whiff once in the room and the once in the hall. Adrenaline pops and I get in front of him in the room he’s going for to stand in front of the Hook. She had Boil Over so he was swaying side to side and missed 2 more hits from that alone. Then he landed a hit on me finally and I crouch away. She wiggles off! She blinds him! And then again. It was a chain-blind that was like 12 seconds long. I’m crouching away so my Exhaustion goes down. I’ve got a Syringe which is 16 seconds before I’m Healed up totally. I use it and then get behind her as she runs. Exhaustion is finally over! I wait for Michael to get close enough and then Dead Hard to a nearby window so he misses and I get distance. I lose him in the next room and the Syringe takes effect! I run for the exit to find it open. Nea comes flying around the corner and vaults for distance. I get between her and Michael and he lands a hit on me instead as the remaining Survivors come to the door. We all teabag before leaving. That Nea sent me a message that was basically lots of BROOOOOOOO GGs BROOOOO FUCKIN SICK! I’m so proud! Also, I won’t pity Michael cuz he tunneled someone the whole fucking match! Rank 12 or not. Too bad.

Got a Ghost Face using Insidious. He kept coming back to the same Gen and Nea and I would climb out the window and watch him from the other side as he'd kick it. So for the umpteenth time, he chose to stand in the bushes beside it and his terror radius vanished. She and I were on either side of the window, able to see him but he wouldn’t have seen us if he looked in our direction. We were teabagging and pointing at each other the whole time! The last 2 Gens popped while we goofed off and GF rage-quit immediately when he realized no one was coming back to that Gen! Rank 1 Killer btw.

I can’t seem to get Sprint Burst to work on Meg. I tried several matches with other Survivors and it works fine for them but not Meg. I’m still getting Exhausted as if I used it though. wtf???

Played some Trapper for a few Challenges and had 3 Basement games in a row! I had all the traps on the map surrounding the Basement on all sides! Either side of the window, in one doorway, plus at the outside corners in the grass if someone tried to loop me. At the top of the stairs and the rest haphazardly on the floor of the shack so they’d have to do some intense workouts to get out of the building. My build made it so no matter how far they ran from the shack I could carry them all the way back there with no problem. Dead Hard would save them from 1 trap(usually the one blocking the stairs) but not all of them and that was the plan! And I had a Stitched Bag for more traps, and an Iridescent Stone on so any un-set trap re-sets itself every 30 seconds. So even if one was disarmed, it’ll re-set itself soon without me having to work for it. Usually in the time it takes for them to safely unHook and then to get everyone up the stairs! ^-^

At least the auras don’t look like shit anymore.
