Sono tornata a casa ora. Il medico mi ha prescritto una lozione per la cute così specifica che in farmacia ho dovuto chiedere una preparazione, come in una drogheria dei più bei racconti fantasy.

Solo che questa è la vita vera e mentre nei racconti non sempre ti spiegano come le cose siano pagate, qui si pagano con soldi che non sempre ci sono.

Ho chiesto questa lozione. La farmacista è andata a controllare gli ordini del laboratorio ed è tornata con una boccetta di vetro marrone dicendo semplicemente: 100€. E questa volta quei soldi c'erano. Non perché li abbia guadagnati, o abbia ricevuto il rimborso della naspi di agosto (che chissà come mai arriva sempre tardi), ma perché ho risparmiato abbastanza da poterli mettere da parte. Ma la prossima volta?

Abbiamo costruito una società mediocre in cui ci sentiamo dire ogni giorno da più parti che l'essere umano è l'animale più intelligente, che la cultura occidentale e civilizzata, riceviamo persino pubblicità di viaggi all'estero "per aiutare le persone più bisognose" (leggasi non occidentalizzate) e poi abbiamo senza tetto che aumentano ai margini delle strade, ragazzini che commettono le peggiori oscenità, genitori che li giustificano, datori di lavoro che non ti considerano una risorsa su cui investire ma uno schiavo da spremere, una sanità pubblica inesistente, una classe medica saccente enpoco competente, insegnanti che per i tre mesi di "vacanza" si chiedono se potranno arrivare alla fine del mese.

So yeah, I played Dragon Age Inquisition for the first time and romanced Solas without knowing who he is. What can I say? I’m deep down into Solavellan hell and freaking love the complexity of his character. If i can, I’ll save him. (after I punched my fist into his face ofc) A dark part of me also wants to join him and see the world burn. :’) There seems to be some discourse around this character, especially here on Tumblr, which I understand, but I wanted to express that liking an antagonist/villain doesn’t mean you are okay with their actions, or even excuse them. A lot of people seem to mix this up. I’m bored by characters who have no issues to solve and are morally perfect. To interest me, a character needs to have flaws, problems and issues to solve. Frankly, we all have. Some more than others, but no one of us is 100% good and perfect. Fiction is not meant to be taken literally. We all have our dark parts no one knows about and I don’t like it when people see the world only in black and white. It simply isn’t. Humans are messy and complicated beings. Don’t judge people for liking problematic characters.
