I know on this blog the main consensus (in older headcanons at least) for the Mii Fighters is that there are six main ones but...I've always seen it as the Smash 4 and Ultimate main three have actually been one in the same. Just older and stronger. Sure there are some differences between the two appearance wise, but since they are Miis, maybe they were able to alter their faces themselves, explaining how (besides there being a timeskip since then) that both iterations aren't identical.
I've seen both interpretations, and while I do lean more towards them being separate people, there's interesting concepts you could explore with them being the same people. I.E., unlike other fighters who tend to stay the same age/similar ages from one game to the next, the different appearances could be more indicative of a time skip.
Mii Brawler has short, spiked hair in SSB4 while having longer, shaggier hair in Ultimate, and both have hair swept in the same direction. It could have grown out.
SSBU's Mii Gunner is swept differently (going to the left rather than a center split) and looks a lot grayer than SSB4's Mii Gunner.
The Mii Swordfighter does show some age as he's gotten older too: his face is a little less soft around the edges and he's gotten a hair cut.
It would be an interesting way to show that, while some people are getting pulled for one Smash game at the same age that they got yoinked for another, there's still the passage of time within the Smash universe.

I decided to do a little research into Pac-Man to find a good choice to add to smash. Pac-Man has a legacy that doesn’t need to be gone into. If Mario is Mr. Video Game himself, then Pac-Man may in fact be the first truly recognizable video game mascot. Everyone knows Mario, but I doubt there is a man on earth who hasn’t at least heard of Pac-Man even tangentially. I honestly consider Pac-Man one of the most important video games to ever exist which is quite a feat but it is in my opinion the case.
Pac-Man is a franchise that doesn’t really have a lot of characters to work with so I had to do research to find a good choice. Mainly because to me, Pac-Man is just him and the main 4 ghosts, Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde. I knew there was MORE but I never knew what that more was. Now for, weird fun fact moment. The rights to Ms. Pac-Man are actually not in the hands of Bandai-Namco. I don’t know who currently owns the rights to the character as last I heard it was Midway but Midway no longer exists. I’m willing to believe her rights are currently in limbo and no one knows who owns the character but then, that’s not what i researched. I researched characters to add. Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde can’t really be added because they’re not really complex enough to be characters for smash. They are a fun assist trophy though. So who do we add? I think we should look to the Pac-Man world games, the 3d platformers. And in having made that choice I’ve chosen
Tumblr media
Spooky, the final boss of Pac-Man world 2. I know this game is a well beloved game so I oddly assume this is a beloved character. While other ghosts are more mischievous than evil, Spooky is legitimately evil to the point that he inflicts suffering on others just for the sake of it. He inflicts pain because he simply enjoys doing so. He isn’t a deep character and his boss fight kinda encapsulates that as well so a move set for this ghost wizard is gonna be mostly custom.
For Neutral B he performs a meteor shower, the longer you charge it the more meteors you get. Think Samus charge shot, but it charges Mii Gunner’s forward smash.
For Up B he makes a small island around himself and forces it upward before floating off it, sending it crashing down.
For his Side B he shoots a lighting bolt that can be used to grapple to the stage. This is a piercing attack.
For his down B he fires a small blast in front of himself that makes a fire wall that goes towards himself. Think PK Fire but it drags the enemy towards you instead of holding you still.
I tried my best to base his attacks off his boss fight but it didn’t leave a lot of room for creativity. I looked at this guy and thought he was knight, hes actually more of a wizard. Oh well. The Down B idea was something I thought would be cool.

Tell me some facts about Mii Gunner from Super Smash Bros. 4 3DS/Wii U
You can get Miis with different costumes, but the only ones you can customise are the default.
Each Mii can have custom music. You can make it one of the two default songs for each costume, or a custom one. You can also load in MP3s of your own songs.
Miis get a stat called "Smash Bonus", and this gives them the following effects at various times:
When you play a game, the Miis get a temporary effect called "Extra Life", which gives each of them +50% chance of victory, +200% final health, +100% total damage dealt.
When you lose, the Miis get a temporary effect called "Goblin Soul", which makes them harder to KO and gives them +100% bonus attack, +200% bonus defense, +100% bonus health, and +100% bonus speed.
The end of the match, Miis get a permanent effect called "New Beginning" which gives them +10% total damage dealt, +40% damage dealt in the last 2 frames, +10% bonus attack, +10% bonus defense, +10% bonus health and +10% bonus speed. This effect lasts 1 hour.
Also: the Mii Gunner has been featured in Nintendo commercials, and his name has been used in commercial advertising like this. He and some other Miis are used in a YouTube series called "Let's Play" where they play games using their Miis as characters.

(1/5) Lots of Mii names facts coming up! I remember an ask a while ago mentioning the Mii fighter's canon names. I looked it up, and Ken and Sophia, Swordfighter and Gunner respectively, turned out to be Guest B and Guest F (default Miis). The screenshots with the names I ended up finding on supersmashbros(.)fandom(.)com, and they're apparently from Sakurai posting daily pics of SSB4 on Miiverse, November 20th 2014 for Ken, and August 28th 2014 for Sophia
(3/5) The SSBU Mii fighters have names in the game files, too. One source I found (Mii Library site) said their names were かくとうF (Kakuto F) for Brawler, けんじゅつE (Kenjutsu E) for Swordfighter, and しゃげきJ (Shageki J) for Gunner, while another (Wii Facts Plus tumblr) said けんじゅつぅ(Kenjutsu) for Swordfighter and しゃげきお (Shagekio) for Gunner, and still けんじゅつE (Kenjutsu E) for Brawler
(4/5) I don't know know Japanese in the slightest, but those may simply be alternate spellings/phrasings of their official Japanese titles, taking from ssbwiki(.)com, Mii格闘タイプ (Mii kakutō taipu) for Brawler, Mii剣術タイプ (Mii kenjutsu taipu) for Swordfighter, and Mii射撃タイプ (Mii shageki taipu). But again, I know nothing about Japanese, and I'm just using my sources' translations, so I could be completely off
(5/5) And finally, SSBU default Mii Brawler shows up in a screenshot with the name Chris in a tweet from NintendoVS on twitter (Mii Fighter is said, if you want a keyword to search for), though I have no idea if that account is official or not. Anyway I may have hyperfixated on the default Mii fighter names a bit, and being able to share it finally is a great Christmas gift :) /gen (here's hoping none of these get lost to tumblr)
Part 2 seems to have been lost, I'm afraid, so if you send that back in I can add it back in a reblog.
But as a TL;DR, the names for the SSBU Miis are:
Kakuto or Chris for Mii Brawler
Kenjutsu for Mii Swordfighter
Shageki or Shagekio for Mii Gunner

Nintendo announced Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series as the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate downloadable content character. He will launch on October 18.
Round 11 of Mii Fighters costumes were also announced, which include the Octoling (Wig) and Judd (Hat) from the Splatoon series, and Doom Slayer (Gunner) from the DOOM series.
Get the latest details below, via Nintendo.
Challenger Pack 11: Sora
In a video hosted by Masahiro Sakurai, the Super Smash Bros. series director revealed that Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series will be the final downloadable content fighter added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on October 18, completing an extraordinary, nearly three-year journey of new fighters across video game history joining the game’s roster. Sora is part of the “Challenger Pack 11” downloadable content, which also includes a new stage and a selection of music tracks from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The video presentation provided a deep dive into the new fighter’s move set, as well as a detailed look at the newly added Hollow Bastion stage.
Challenger Pack 11 is part of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which can be purchased for a suggested retail price of $29.99 and also includes Min Min from the ARMS game, Steve & Alex from Minecraft, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, Pyra / Mythra from the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game, and Kazuya from the Tekken franchise. Challenger Pack 11 can also be purchased separately for $5.99.
The protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series is Sora, a young boy who wields the iconic Keyblade and traverses Disney and Pixar worlds, battling enemies known as the Heartless to overcome darkness and restore peace to the realms. His signature look and airborne moves from the Kingdom Hearts games transition perfectly to the battlefields of Super Smash Bros Ultimate, offering an approachable fighter with a unique feel that helps Sora stand out on his own.
Inspired by his moves in Kingdom Hearts, Sora excels at fighting in the air when playing him in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. His jumps are high and his movements are light and soft. While he is easily launched by opponents, Sora’s powerful, combo-based attacks using his mighty Keyblade make him a formidable challenger.
Using a series of intuitive button presses, Sora can perform all types of different combos with his Keyblade, be it straight-on attacks, aerial moves or side smashes. He can also use Magic, just like in Kingdom Hearts. Fans will recognize the Firaga, Thundaga, and Blizzaga spells, which can be unleashed in various ways to cover the battlefield with a volley of impressive hits. Sora can also activate his Final Smash, called “Sealing the Keyhole,” to send his worthy opponents flying.
The new stage that players will receive in Challenger Pack 11 is Hollow Bastion. Fans of the Kingdom Hearts series will immediately recognize this familiar location, featured heavily in many of the franchise’s games. The dynamic stage contains one platform in its center, and, as the battle nears its close, players will travel to a special area inspired by Dive to the Heart with visuals featuring some familiar faces from the Kingdom Hearts series.
After downloading Challenger Pack 11, players will also receive nine music tracks from the Kingdom Hearts series. An additional music track, “Dearly Beloved -Swing Version,” will be added to this game for those who have played Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. A new Spirit Board starring characters from Kingdom Hearts like Riku, Kairi, and Roxas will also be added.
Mii Fighters Costumes #11
Additionally, new paid in-game costumes for the Mii Fighter, including Doom Slayer, Octoling Wig and Judd Hat, will be available to enjoy separately.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for Switch.
