Future's gonna be okay. Min Yoongi was comforting us this last year with his music, his performances and also with Suchwita. What an honor it was to share in his journey as he was making his way through all his projects.

I reallyyyyy enjoyed the last episode with El Capitxn. It's so interesting to see the episodes with Yoongi's besties and that he allowed us to see that side of him is a real treat. He was really cute with IU also.

All of the members' projects have been unique, but Yoongi's were extra special as he hadn't really opened up this way before and has been essentially the most mysterious member. You can also see his growth and skills in interviewing change over the series.

It was because of the episode with Tablo that I bought a ticket to their 20th anniversary tour and then started binging Epik High because I didnt want to miss out if Epik High were held in such high esteem by both RM and Yoongi. The show was awesome, by the way, and I can see why they are such legends!

A few weeks after I saw Epik High, I had the privilege to see Suga in concert in Oakland. It was everything and more. I just can't say enough about how much I respect him as a person, musician, and performer. The show itself was legendary and will never be forgotten.

Not gonna lie, I was crying when he gave his little speech at the end of the last episode, but I will go back and watch some of my favorite episodes until they all return. 💜

Also I feel like we do not talk about Yoongi's dancing enough. BTS on the whole is vastly superior to any other group, but Yoongi is just on another level technically to most of *these* dancers - some of whom also probably do backup for BTS themselves. I feel like we need more dancing Yoongi. Mans is FLUID. His movements are precise and he is PLACED and flows like water and I LIVE OKAY

jung hoseok had every right to be terrified.

here he was, attempting to escape his house of traumatic events for the umpteenth time. his foot hit the concrete sidewalk and he skidded, turning very quickly and sprinting down the street while his parents were still in bed. his breathing was as heavy as each step he ran. having done this time and time again, he knew he could not stop in an alley and let a few tears fall.

he hadn't even run into his dad that time, but what happened in that alley sent him running back home. we don't talk about that.

he turned a corner and kept going. people stepped out of his way and even watched him run.

'stop staring at me!'  his brain was screaming. he normally would love to have someone watch him, if he was dancing.

but he's not dancing. he's trying to get away.

after a few more lefts and rights, he was convinced he had successfully outran his dad. his dad wasn't the athletic type. at all.

he slid down a wall and sat on the ground, opening his backpack and checking his phone. 45 group text and 50 more DMs from his parents. he deleted the messages and blocked them.

'pieces of shit, they are.'

he looked around. he was in the middle of a less busy sidewalk, praying he would be okay.

he needed to get out.

away.

where nobody, not his parents, or if he had them, friends, could find him. he thought about it. he had money, clothing, and pretty much everything he needed. Even water and instant ramen bowls. he stared out onto the city streets. he lived in a fairly small city, so he knew the way around like the back of his own hand. He got up, gathered his bearings, and started on his trek out of the hell-hole of a neighborhood.

he fucking hated it here.

Since D-Day has come out, I feel closer to Suga. When I say that I just mean that his music tells a lot about his thoughts and feelings about the world. Listening to the album feels like you're having a conversation with him. I really love a lot of the songs on this album. Amygdala and SDL really stir up my heart (I know that sounds so corny, but it's true).

Also, I wanted to say since this album has come out I feel like more people are recognizing his genius, not just as a producer, but also as a song writer. Songs like Haeguem show his knowledge of art and history. He is so smart and knowledgeable about so many things. I just appreciate him and this new album so much.
