Liu Kang x F!reader Summary: After finishing off Titan Shang Tsung's last remaining minions, he had thought they would be the last of his worries...Until you came. A/N: I random fanfic idea I had at 2 the morning of what is Y/n was basically a siren who finally made her way to the main mk universe. Warnings| Mentions of dead bodies, heat, slight smut

They had finally began to set upon the beach, Liu Kang breathed a sigh of relief as he wiped sweat from his brow. Around him were thousands of lifeless bodies, Titan Shang Tsung's warriors. They were once strong, almost invincable in battle. Until the defeat of their master, they were left to their own devices, their own powers and skills. Liu Kang found great ease as he took down the last one. He fell to his knees with a content smile to his face. This was the last of them, he could finally return to Earthrealm and start new things.

Raiden and Kung Lao were progressing greatly on their trainings, Kenshi was slowly, and Johnny... something about movie based around the recent events. Liu Kang chuckled to himself about te absurdity of it all. He fcoused on his breathing as he listened too the waves crashing against the shore, the faint smell of fresh air and saltwater filled his longs. He slowly was regaining inner peace, all was calm and silent.

"Flawless victory."

Until that. Within seconds Liu Kang's eyes shot open and he whipped around to his feet to face his potential opponent. But there was no warrior before him. Only you were before him. You, all the way from out in the sea. The sunlight glowed on your almost exposed body as you began to make your way to the fire god. Your hips swayed this way and that as you waded your way through the dancing waves in an almost hypnotizing rhythm. Liu Kang softened as he froze in an awed stance. Of all the things he anticipated, he did not expect this. He didn't expect you. His eyes stayed focused on you as if he was in a trance. He felt numb throughout his body, except for a tingling sensation that made its way throughout his body.

Finally making to the shore, you place your feet on the hot and welcoming sand. A electrifying feeling goes from your toes to your head as your feel the warm and coarse sand under your feet.

Your eyes properly feet the blazing eyes of the man before you. A sweet grin spreads across your face as you are finally before Liu Kang. Liu Kang almost wants to smile back, appraoch you, caress you, tanglr his fingers in your hair, place his soft lips against yours--but he snakes out of this strange feeling, reaginig his sense.

"Who are you?" He questions with a demanding yet calm voice. "Whatever you want me to be." You respond as you step over the body of a warrior. Liu kang eyes you up and down, "That doesn't answer my question."

"Oh, but it does. I can be anything you want me to be. I can be your enemy, your sister in arms..." You eye the unconcius body of a woman with bladed fans, a evil Kitana. You glide over to her and kneel beside and take the strange tiara off her head, silver and obsidian. A dealdly combination. You place the tiara on your own head and look Liu Kang deeply into his eyes. "...Your lover."

Within seconds, Liu Kang is in front of you. He takes the tiara off your head, obviously this suggestig confined with your desecration of the princess doe not flatter him. But you aren't bothered by this, you like this. Seeing the fire build up in his eyes. Liu Kang's anger soften as he regains his compsoure, he tenderly holds the tiara in his hands as he looks thoughtfully at it. He remembers the who owned it originally, he remembers her.

You purse your lips in attenpt to mimic a sympathetic look on your face. "Oh, it's been a long time hasn't it?"

"What has?" Liu Kang turns to you, not pleased by your antics. "Why since youve been loved of course." You say as you saunter to him, you place a hand on his shoulder. A shiver runs through his body wiyh your touch. " I can love you... it could be you and me, together...forever...master..." You reach for the tiara, your hands slide against his in the process. Liu Kang melts as he looks you in the eyes.

He leans close to you, closer, so close.

Immediatly, his eyes shoots open as he realizes something. He jerks away from you, almost repulsed but still intrigued nonethless. "You're one of Kronika's old creations, aren't you?". His eyes study you with care as he begins to think. "Who, are you? How do you still exist?"

You scrunch face in disproval, you didn't want to be found so soon. You wanted to have some fun first. You playfully cross your arms and shake your head, refusing to tell the fire god anything. "Alright, I shall have to guess. You are angered upon your mistresses death, thus you come here hoping to avenge her."

You stare at him for some time, finally, you break the silence with an innocent seaming giggle. "Oh, Liu Kang, why would I want to kill something as magnificent as you? I made my peace with Kronkia's death a long time go. I came for you, master, I want to to see this new vision you have for the timline."

"I wish I could believe you, but I can't just believe that your intention, no matter pure they may be. Also, please don't call me master,"

Before you can respond, he grabs you by the arm and leads you away."Oh? What would you like me to call you then? Keeper of Time? The Champion of Mortal Kombat? Daddy?", "Lord Liu Kang will suffice."

"Well then, Lord Liu Kang, where would like to take me? On that rock? On the bare sand?". "To Geras, he'll know how to deal with you."

"Ooooo," You coo in excitement, "I haven't seen him in centuries. He'll be so happy to see me.". "For your own sake, I should hope so.

A/N: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REQUEST LOVE<333 this is my first time writing for someone and not for myself so please tell me if this is bad or I should fix something! I also did this while watching but I’m a cheerleader so uh-

“Piper! You know I hate him, don’t you understand that?” You grumbled as your half sister Piper put her hand up to her forehead and massaged her temple like a disappointed parent. 

“And I also don’t understand why, why can’t you have one training session with him!” She said, taking her hand off of her head dramatically. 

“Becuz, he’s just so..intimidating! He always seems so mean, and he gives me a side eye every time I see him.” You gave a small huff as Piper got up from her chair and grabbed your hand. She pulled you up from where you were sitting, making you stand up.

“You’ll survive.” She shrugged and let your hand go 

“Go get your sword and meet me down at the amphitheater, mk?” She winked at you and then ran off to the amphitheater. You gave a sigh and then walked to your bed. You grabbed your sword, it was pink and had a rose design going up the side. You put it by your side and then walked slowly out to the amphitheater. 

“I don’t wanna train with stupid Jason..” you grumbled softly to yourself as you kicked your sword in the grass as you walked, skimming over the top of the blades of grass but never actually digging into the dirt. This was gonna be terrible, but there was a perk to it, Jason was really pretty. And totally your type. You tried not to think about it too much so you didn’t have another crush on a guy who thought you were too weird or too annoying. 

You eventually got to the amphitheater and saw Piper and Jason talking, a smile on Pipers face and a shit eating grin on Jason’s stupid pretty face. 

“Pipes!” You gave a smile and ran up to your half sister, Jason’s face went confused.

“What’s she doing here?” Jason questioned, it didn’t sound exactly mean but it was a little hurtful. Piper cleared her throat obnoxiously

“Jason Grace, you are training with Y/N Y/L/N today!” She said in a deep voice, mocking a football announcer or something. His eyes widened at Piper and he looked at her with a look that said 

“Are you crazy?” Jason said in an angry whisper and Piper just shrugged

“Get over it Superman, you’re trainin’ with her.”  Piper smiled and then walked away, sticking up a peace sign as she walked off “Peace, losers! Don’t kill each other!” She yelled and ran off back to the Aphrodite cabin.

“Sooo,. Jason right?” You tried to seem friendly since you didn’t get killed since he looked buff as hell. His tight boring red shirt and boring blue jeans made him look like a target employee but he still looked so, so, pretty.. his finger dug into your chest right below your neck.

“Listen, I don’t know why Piper is making us train together but all I want is for this to be over, this isn’t a chance for us to be friends, understood?” His eyebrows kissed on his forehead as he silently scolded you in an angry whisper. You backed up a little. You gave a nod as your mouth gaped open a little. You knew Jason could be mean but not this mean. His finger lifted off your chest and he backed up. 

“Alright get your sword, you look like you’ve seen a ghost.” He scoffed and then grabbed his sword that was leaning on the wall. You nodded slowly and shut your mouth and then grabbed your sword that was also sitting on the wall next to Jason’s. It was way too big for you to hold and you hated using it, your face scrunched up as you grabbed it and Jason was waiting for you. You walked over and dragged your sword on the ground, Jason looked at you like you were dumb.

“Don’t drag it on the ground you idiot! It dulls the sword.” Jason facepalmed and dragged his hand across his face and it landed back on his sword. 

“Ok listen, what is your deal? Have you never trained before?” He sighed and went over to you, putting his sword back on the wall. 

“I don’t like training, it’s so stupid, it makes you get dirty and-“ you tried to keep explaining but stopped. Why was Jason being so mean? 

“Ok well, you need to train, you can’t expect monsters to kill themselves!” Jason’s voice raised. Fuck. You could usually deal with yelling, but it was just a lot right now. Especially with the pressure of fighting with a sword. You wiped your eyes that had welled up with tears.

“Sorry.” You muttered out and took in a sharp breath. Jason’s expression softened.

“No, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to yell I just got kinda pissed off.” Jason sighed and then grabbed your shoulders. 

“Listen. I’m sorry I was being a dick. Let’s just train mk?” He gave a weak smile and let go of your shoulders. You sighed and looked up at Jason, he was even prettier when he smiled. 

“Yeah, sure.” You said and grabbed your sword. 

After a few minutes of Jason training you he sighed and put his sword down.  He breathed in and out heavily. 

“Didn’t know you were this good with a sword, take a break yeah?” He smiled through his heavy breathing then opened his water bottle and took a sip. You were also breathing pretty heavily and you were both covered in sweat.

“Yeah..” you opened up your water bottle as well and sipped your water. 

“I guess miss perfect can handle a sword.” He smiled and giggled at you, making you blush. You smiled back at him. 

“Wanna train tomorrow?” You smiled at him. You still didn’t love Jason but it was worth it to see his face. 

“Sure. Cya.” Jason smiled and picked up his stuff. He winked at you before leaving  the amphitheater. You blushed and gave a slight wave.

“Cya.”

He doesn't even care about the multiple gods/sworn family members yelling at him for doing something so stupid.

MK starts a conversation after not handling the silence any long and they began to talk, and the conversation somehow turns to past relationships and love, Seer just looks at MK for a moment thinking, then looks at the ground and speaks something that surprises MK “falling in love with someone means exposing the softest, most fragile parts of yourself to them…and then praying they don't destroy you.” In that moment, Seer was actually being true fully about something from their past. MK sits their stunned by what he just hear but bring the Seer into a side hug as they both look at the city in silence, he wants to say something, but he thinks it but to just leave it alone…for now at least.

Meanwhile two monkeys just happen to be watching from a distances hearing all of it.

Seer could never properly move on from their past lover. Because their ex was the ex that made them realize their love for life :)

There’s a song called “Aphrodite” by Honey Gentry and, in a way, that’s how Seer kind of views their ex.

For Seer to talk abt them is like MK finding a hidden pearl in a cracked clam. A pretty find and it might not be perfect but it’s his secret to keep.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Wukong or Macaque (or both) heard a conversation like these bc MK is probably the safest person Seer will ever find in that world. And they genuinely see him as a safe space— someone who they are willing to call part of their home.

Celestial NATO. Hades and Persephone being Wukong’s favorite couple to hang out with. They visit the mortal realm(rare occasion) in human disguises))

Hades: it's rather nice, also colorful. I really like this noodle shop, it's very comfortable.

((Persephone and Hades would talk about how they met and the misconceptions about them, then Persephone would make a sad rant about how her adopted son Adonis chose the red flag that is Aphrodite over the woman who raised him. The thing that is still a complication(other than Persephone's mysterious connection to the underworld before Hades) is the children the couple has. Zagreus is said to be a version of Dionysus, Melinoe is Zeus' daughter(effing Zeus pulling an Alcmene trick) and Macaria is usually forgotten by mythology. Though its such a king move for Hades to still love his children anyway.

Hades loves his weird chthonic children, even if it's unclear how they got made.

Now I wanna see an alternate timeline where Persephone and Hades show up at the end of S3 to pick up their youngest daughter: the goddess of Bones.

Persephone: "Ostea! So this is where you've been! Me and your father have been worried sick!" LBD: "Aww c'mon! I was only gonna destroy this Realm!" Hades: "No excuses young lady! It's far past your season outside of the Underworld." LBD: *pouts and floats down before getting into their Underworld ferry* Hades, to Sun Wukong and Macaque: "Hey, sorry about our youngest. Teenagers am I right?" Wukong, sincerely: "Yeah, it's no problem guys. What teen hasn't thought about destroying the world?"

The rest of Monkie Kid gang are just shooken and very confused.

Favorite time of the year: autumn, ofc! it's the time of year where the weather is bearable, where you can feel the significance and potential in the air like magic, and it's the time of year I feel the most like myself.

Comfort food: grilled cheese has a soft spot to be sure, but also mac n cheese too. and pastas! mm. pizza is good too.

Favorite dessert: apple or pumpkin pie! I'm not big on desserts because I don't have a big sweet tooth but my god I will go to bat for pie. Walmart had NEITHER the last time we were there and I consider this a personal fucking offense.

Things you collect: anything to do with poe dameron tbh, stuff about england, books on the paranormal, and pops!

Favorite drink: irish breakfast tea, water (basic, I know, and we're out of bottled water so I'm suffering bc the Taste Of the Tap Water Isn't Pleasant For My Autism), sweet tea, coca cola (hi space mom), lemonade, HOT COCOA BELOVED I need to get some, and root beer. Also I had some cool blue Gatorade last week and forgot how damn good it is so that too.

Favorite musical artist: florence + the machine, queen, imagine dragons, halsey and taylor swift are probably the ones I have most songs on spotify for. but atm it's definitely f+tm

Last song you listened to: willow tree march by the paper kites (I'm listening to my fall playlist! I'm very soft for this song bc i discovered it the same time I met my current group of friends back in 2017 here in tumblr dot com so it reminds me of all them).

Last movie you watched: multiverse of madness and it was so fucking good, so much better than I was expecting? I like that it felt like a comic book movie and the horror elements of course I ate up. I love that they didn't try to water down the ridiculousness of a comic story to make it more palatable for neurotypical mainstream audiences. It looks, sounds, and is paced like a comic book and I fucking loved it. Let Raimi do more movies!!!!!!!!!!

Last series you watched: *error noises* my memory isn't good. I'm pretty sure it was Moon Knight though because I rewatched The Friendly Type again last weekend because I was sick and needed the comfort lmfao. Last one I watched all the way through was, again, Moon Knight because I rewatched it with my mom (it was her first time watching it). Before that, I watched the first season of only murders in the building :')

Series you’re currently watching: well we were watching s2 of omitb but my folks got tired of it ldndksksl. I might try to finish it but idk yet? Aside from that, I'm still painstakingly making my way through the west wing (Josh Lyman I WILL kick my executive dysfunction for u)

Current obsession: *glances at my blog* I think it's kind of obvious nfjdfhd. Moon Knight is definitely one of my biggest spins right now, alongside Poe and the sequels. I think at this point I have to admit to myself that Oscar Isaac's filmography has slid a little ways from 'hyperfixation' to possible 'spin' as well. That guy's like catnip for the asd crowd and also the asexuals what's up with that.

Dream place to visit: so many places are you kidding? England, New York, New Orleans, and Rome!!

A place you’ve been you want to go back to: there's a comic store about an hour drive away that has sO MANY FUCKING COMICS IT HAS SO MANY BACK ISSUES but we haven't been in absolute y e a rs and honestly I want to go there so badly again and flip through the back issues and maybe find some mk stuff 👀

Something you want: currently a nap because I couldn't sleep last night lmfao. I'd also like to get to read more of seraphina bc I keep. saying I will and getting distracted (same goes with princess and scoundrel), snuggles, and pops of Marc & Steven to put by my bed...my heroes.

Currently working on: is it really fucking cheesy to just say myself? It's been a difficult year of really struggling to process the amount of bad that happened in such a short timespan for me (one of my pets passed away in january, I got and then promptly lost a job bc I was hoh), and the depression hit bad. I'm just a little bit proud of myself for where I am now (standing up for myself more, being more cautious with my energy & time), but I still have more to work on terms of really beginning to move on and find confidence in myself again and accept all the parts of me, even the oddest neurodivergent things about myself.
