KÖNIG AND GLASSES.

Hear me out! Our König is an old man, pushing forty’s it’s just normal for his health to get a bit weak. For instance, my man needs reading glasses! His impeccable vision starts to get a bit worse as years pass.

You’ll be reading an interesting article, wanting to share with König, you’ll hand him your phone and BAM! He’s putting his glasses on.

You bring him his morning newspaper? BAM! Glasses. He’s coming with you to buy makeup and gets too curious about the strange names they use to label? BAM! Glasses. He’s putting his lil glasses on just to read names like Better Than Sex or whatever. He doesn’t even know what half the products he sees are, but is fascinated by them and by how you make them look good on your face.

He gives off dad energy, that energy every dad unlocks once they gotta put on reading glasses, the lean backs, the head tilts, the demeanor of a dad putting his glasses on just to still squeeze their eyes.

Rinx and cute human auction host with impeccable sense of humour 🗣️ hear me out while I'm drunk again

just ✨imagine✨ – some closed auction with very specific-and-unique stuff, aimed on some narrow monster audience. Why human is a host here? She kinda... wanted a job not in McDonald's, but luck wasn't on her side – at the end, it is what it is. She started to make small talks with visitors and crack jokes around only to escape her fate as an auction lot. To her big surprise and happiness, visitors found feigned confidence believable, as well her humour sharp and dark enough for their twisted tastes, but not too belittling or offensive to hear from a mere human.

More so, she grew popular in this small community. Now she's cheeky and brave enough to talk back to some especially rude visitors– It's still a joke to everyone tho. Laughing stock of the day usually gets too embarrassed to come on her twice and audience can be ruthless.

But huh??? At some totally normal day here's more people than usual??? Regulars looking especially nervous for some reason???? And her boss is suddenly disappears after some lameass short unreadable message about "special guest"?????

Huh. Strange. Well, whatever, business is business-

Guess who got in the playful sarcastic bullshittery with some giant broccoli head first and now sweating bullets cuz that dude is just... Buys everything? Every-single-fucking-lot???? His bets are so high for a quite literal trash sometimes, is he insane???? She knows who is it from the first bet honestly, but she keeps repeating for her own sanity that it's some obsessive cosplayer.

And at the end of the auction he refuses to leave and makes a ridiculously small bet on "the charming host".

She jokes herself the way out only because she was so – well, she tells to bring and show her some fucking lost artifact from a rumour that was popular million years ago if he wants to buy even a minute of her time. "No more, no less," she says and leaves, pretty sure that she won this.

Even if her knees are shaking behind the curtains after a realisation it was fucking Greed Icon, she still believes that she can outplay him.

She's in pure panic and loss of words because she ran out of options and bets are getting insanely high. She thought he was playing and that he will get bored after getting a handjob (it was just a pin at first, she swears!!!), but on their last meeting he told her to get ready for a wedding. G666gling "WHTAT SHOUDLG I AKS FOR PKEASE HELP BITCH HAS EVVRHYTHIN" isn't helping at all.

Rinx loves how well-educated about valuable things she is, how good she's in jerking him off– and it's funny to see how she's sweating as she tries to decline his gifts and fails miserably. Truly, this game was fun while it lasted, but now? Now he wants a Queen.

No idea what the ettiquette is for things like this but I adore your brain esp with Sherlock and Mycroft. pLEASE share any of your thoughts/hopes/expectations for s&c Mycroft (and his + Sherlock’s dynamic) 🙏

As for my thoughts/hopes/expectations, It usually comes up randomly in my head but I would say...

Thoughts:

Mycroft hasn't been mentioned (except by the writer's that there isn't a voice actor for him yet) and this fits in with the surprise John and the audience will get when he is introduced. I'm excited for that but tbh I don't have any other thoughts, when he does appear DW I'll tag you in my post of thoughts :))

My hopes/expectations is that:

Mycroft is not slim. LISTENNNN LISTENNNN OKAYY, often hes portrayed as slim due to medical/mental issues which I still love btw (the approach to his character with these are some of the most powerful fics I have ever read) I just want a Mycroft that is a big boy and I hope he is.

Mycroft doesn't worry about Sherlock that often due to seeing him online with John now, he also follows the podcast, twitter account and is definitely on their patreon. That's why we haven't heard of him so far because there's no need for him to contact Sherlock. He's going to make a comment about the podcast and the detective career when he's introduced though.

Lestrade and Mycroft actually keep in touch quite often- not just due to Sherlock but cause of Lestrade being the DI and Mycroft being the government would mean they would cross paths more often than not. Especially true in hostage negotiations and/or terrorists attacks!! Lestrade would have to be present as it's all hands on deck and Mycroft may just be needed for 'cleanup' afterwards. They both could be introduced at the same time or within episode of each other. If not, they will know each other soon!!

Mycroft and Sherlock will do their iconic back and forth deduction but with both Mariana and John present. 👀

Mycroft doesn't drink alcohol nor consumes anything that wasn't made then tested - can't risk being intoxicated or poisoned when he could be called up at any moment, there's no time for resting. He does throw caution to the wind when he eats at Sherlock's though, hoping for a scene where they are having dinner together.

John will have direct contact with Mycroft just like Lestrade after they meet, this allows Mycroft to be a reoccurring character (FINGERS CROSSED MY GUYS!).

Mycroft is going to have a one on one conversation with John off the record about the case of The Greek Interpreter and John will definitely record it and then later plans to delete/censor it but Sherlock says not to and just publish it raw because why not. It be funny lol.

Further head-canons (some are also hoped or expected) because now I'm lost in the sauce and can't stop:

Mycroft has never worried about himself too much outside of work reasons, he was too busy taking care of Sherlock + the estate and handling incompetent politicians and global political leaders to ever care.

Sherlock was and is a danger to everything alive or objects - including himself!! This especially when he was a child doing any sort of experiment because often touch and tasting is the first thing done, so Mycroft aged like 20 years when Sherlock was a child in his 'i must grab and put this foreign thing in my mouth' phase. One time he wanted to touch and taste the insides of his bee plushie - it was just cotton tho (and a heart attack for Mycroft).

He is the reason Sherlock has expensive tastes and was unable to lean him off it due to having the exact palette as well. He's the reason Sherlock is spoiled about his groceries but don't say that to Mycroft because he did his best...not really but he likes his branded sweets okay.

Mycroft (as he is a big boy) needed suits that were custom made for him and up to his impeccable standards so he got them commissioned and had the designer he found to also create sensory friendly clothing for Sherlock. 🥹

Mycroft likes John Watson and Mariana a lot, they both love his brother and that's the only thing he could ask for.

Mycroft is a tank!! He is more than capable of neutralising someone if needed - whether hand to hand or by weapon/s - but just like how he isn't a detective, he isn't his own bodyguard nor hitman because he's lazy and that's why you have employees.

Mycroft thought that Sherlock and John are more than friends but gets even more confused when Mariana is there? Then decides it's none of his business really, he needs to focus on easing tensions between the King and the Prime Minister.

Mycroft and Sherlock not only had deduce-offs but also regularly fought one on one hand to hand combat for fun. Mycroft was scared asf tho when Sherlock started to have intense interests in swords, no thank you.

Mycroft unlike his behaviour at work being that of an ice man whose looks could kill, is awkward and shy when it comes to Sherlock. There's not much to talk about when you're siblings whose work requires the utmost confidentiality, can easily deduce what the other did and with one's work famously being published and the other's influence clear in every political news!!

Now that's all I have, I'm sure my brain will come up with some more stuff later on and i'll be sure to tag you in them from now on!!

This combo... okay I'll just start with how unreasonably HOT this is. Like you got Ezra: protective, talkative, wild, a little feral, definitely likes to use his mouth, lean and impeccably dressed with that dumb little blond patch. to be honest, there isn't a moment where she isn't holding you or kissing all over your face. but how could she not, when you're just so perfect and so so so kissable? that's what she tells you when you playfully complain about how she couldn't keep her lips away from yours for a second.

satoru's kisses depend totally on his mood. if he had a good day and is feeling playfull, his kisses are light as feathers all across your face. his lips meet yours in a soft, playfull and teasing way, and you can feel his smirk as your tongues dance with each other peacefully. he's always in a good mood, so these kisses are the "regular" ones.

however, if he had a bad day or something pissed him off, he would turn into a meanie. he would either just tease you until you practically beg for his kisses or kiss your hard, barely even letting you breath for a second. you can even try, but you can't deny that you don't like this kind of kiss.

either way, his kisses are the best. the way he knows every inch of your mouth and uses it to his advantage. the way he knows exactly what to do and where or how to touch you drives you insane in the bestest and more wonderful way possible. he has this power to leave you completely breathless and speechless after every makeout session.

Project Voltage Mikus ranked by my personal taste from most to least favourite:

-Ghost. Glitchy ghost Miku. GLITCHY GHOST MIKU!! When I saw this one I gasped, it's so so good That fact that her tie is a little glowing ghost-wisp? The muted and simplistic colour palette? The "01" badge being a wisp floating next to her arm? I cannot stop screaming about it. It's. Perfect.

-Ground. Honestly it doesn't really look like Miku but I don't care it's a baller design and I love it, it was made to appeal directly to me with the adventuring themes and the tattered cloak. Her hair does remind me of thorns more than ground tbh but she still deserves her spot here

-Fighting. Of course she's paired with Sirfetch'd for the leek! I had no idea what direction Fighting-type was gonna be and while I am a little sad we don't get ripped Miku I can't deny that this design is great! The dark brown accents really help make the rest of the outfit pop and her hair is leeks you can't get much more on-brand for Miku than this

-Dragon. The mini-cloak worn over one shoulder, the claw hairclips, the sword that doubles as a mic?? Fantastic. I also think this is the design that fits her partner Pokémon best - she really does embody Miraidon

-Fire. This one is fun! Her hair is insane and I'm not entirely sure what's going on with those leggings (are those just patches of bare skin? how would you even wear those), but I love her eyes and her jacket. This is the one I want most as a module in a Project Diva game

-Psychic. I love it so much, she's so cute! It's a pretty understated design but I feel like it really works, ya know?

-Ice. I really, really like this one... mostly. The bright green gloves take a bit of the appeal away imo - on her eyes and earrings and tiny dots throughout her outfit the green accent colour is fine but the gloves take up too much space to be fully green. Her ice-heels are incredible though, no notes

-Steel. I don't what I expected for Steel-type, but it certainly wasn't a samurai! A pokéflute being worn as a sword?? Inspired. Her hat looks like it can double as a cymbal in case she needs to make some impromptu music

-Bug. Tiny little Miku! The bangs over her front resembling antennae and the multiple wing motifs on her outfit are next-level adorable. She fits in the palm of my hand

-Dark. I love her umbrella-mic, 20/10 that's the best accessory of the lot easily. And I like the rest of the outfit , but I don't like what they did with the pigtails - I understand that one's crescent-moon shaped but the fact that they are so wildly different in length and volume is really throwing me off

-Flying. This is the epitome of a Flying-type trainer's design. She's soft and flowy and looks like she belongs in the clouds. I don't know what's up with that single dark blue glove though

-Normal. The vibes are impeccable; she's just having a chill time. I really like all the colours that are going on and can rest easy knowing that this Miku definitely smokes weed

-Fairy. This one is very, very close to overtaking Normal but the face keeps throwing me off. Her skirt is very cute and I love her puffy socks. I get what they were trying to do with the hair but it just looks like she got strawberry bubblegum stuck in there

-Water. I like that the pigtails join together at the end - absolutely insane design, 10/10 - but it just. Doesn't look like Miku. I can certainly believe this as a water trainer design in one of the games tho

-Electric. You just took a regular electric trainer, gave her pigtails and called her Miku. It's an okay design overall, even if I feel like it's more on the bland side

-Grass. I flip-flop on this one, but my feelings are generally neutral. It doesn't really look like Miku imo but it does kinda look like Miku's cousin so I'll let it slide

-Rock. For one thing, I keep looking at that design and thinking it's ice. And I'm just not a huge fan of the flowy bridal-dress look (I know there's an alternate version and I do prefer that one... but only slightly, so it stays here)

-Poison. The epitome of overdesigned. Also why did you choose mustard yellow accents? On the goggles and gasmask it looks okay but in the hair?? Awful.

DISCLAIMER: this was in progress as the designs were being revealed and after I've had to chance to let my feelings on them digest for a while my opinions might change but this is how I feel about them all currently. Overall, pretty great!

Jude! Jude is my Amir boy. He's a big, burly quiet sort, sad eyes, keeps to himself. Metalhead, ofc, bc I Know What I Like. I think he's a mechanic or smthn? He's definitely the type to work with his hands. He likes music too, and he plays guitar, but never really in front of people. He shy 😔

Does not have a great relationship with his family, or many friends either. He's the youngest of three, and has two older brothers. Probably in his early to mid-thirties?

NEXT UP is Fritz! Fritz is a really buttoned-up, straightforward, no-nonsense type... on paper. He plays straight-edge on TV, but under his office job professional demeanor and crisp business casual attire? Tattoos and piercings galore. He's not quite as wild as he was when he was in his teens/early 20s, but he still likes to unwind in a more high-energy fashion that most people would expect.

...He is very much Enjoying A Chaotic Catboy's Company as a Consummate Mori-kisser. Many would say he has bad taste in men, but i think his taste is impeccable and he just likes to have a good time 😤He's also bossy enough to handle himself just fine

AND FINALLY! <3 Larimar. He is so, so, so, so pretty. Unfortunately, he is very aware of this and uses it to get away with Gremlin Behavior. Aging Punk with Peter Pan syndrome, and delights in the trans man curse of looking younger than he actually is. SO Lockwood & Co. the TV show is definitely doing more for me than the books so far (just finished the first one), since the book seems to be positioning him *as* a sort of sherlock holmes and the show is ... doing that but in a way that emphasizes how very young and dumb he is in a way I personally find both hilarious and feels-inducing. But the book definitely is giving more worldbuilding details! I'm impressed with how much they managed to include in the show when they were so very dedicated to NOT infodumping about the world, tbh tho.

Ahh I'm glad someone is enjoying it 😂 Judging by how few notes my L&Co reblogs are getting it's still not that popular amongst my followers.

I am now half way through book 2 and I also commend the show on doing an amazing job of following the books so faithfully. They managed to put all of the first book in the first 2-3 episodes, barely missing out anything (except the well scene!), it's incredible.

One thing that I much prefer about the show is that all the characters are so much nicer & more sympathetic than their book counterparts. Book!Lucy has a "not like the other girls" streak that is completely rectified by Show!Lucy & her amazing relationship with Norrie. In the books, Lucy is quite judgemental of George,which I guess is part of the whole "third wheel" plotline?, but in the show any hurt she causes him comes across as more unintentional. They have a few arguments here and there but there's no actual derision or dislike on a personal basis. George isn't silly comic relief.

And Lockwood just seems more thoughtful in the show, as you say he's young and dumb. There are definitely notes of that in the books, but the show really leans into the darker aspects of him, the loneliness & his need to hold it together. Though I'm excited to finish this book in particular to see if that's just me going into the books with certain expectations having seen the show. I also think the show probably benefits from being able to incorporate later character development into the earlier stories, whilst the books still feel like they're finding their feet at this stage.

I am enjoying the books for sure but I am such a huge fan of the show. It manages to feel more mature (aged up characters! Mild swearing!), while at the same time maintaining the fun of the books. The found family aspect and the slowburn romance is just impeccable. I love Kipps & Barnes in the show - making Kipps an agent rather than a supervisor was a great choice, love the secrecy of his failing sensitivity! - and Flo is amazing in the show compared to the book. If there is a season 2 I just hope they keep the sense that there are no real rivalries, just people doing the best they can, trying to find familiarity.

anyway swiftpaw is at the top bc i wrote a swiftpaw lives au and it has spiralled out of control into a 150k+ affair and counting, which i’ll have to make another post about. at any rate i adore him, i think he’s awesome, and i believe in swift/bright/cloud supremacy

ivypool is self explanatory. i think she’s Neat.

longtail and whitewing are both natural extensions of swiftpaw (swift/bright/cloud means he’s whitewing’s other dad in my head). plus i think longtail is super interesting as one of the only reformed villains, and whitewing is also really cool and a good friend/mom.

i hc mousewhisker as gay and trans for fun (sorry minnowmouse shippers) and he’s the mc of a top secret fanfic i’ve had on the backburner for years (and will continue to stay there bc it’s now entwined with swiftpaw fic and i have to write up to it) so basically i also love him. just a silly little guy

jayfeather, sorreltail, cinderpelt, and crowfeather are pretty standard faves i think. and possibly gray wing? idk he’s Also my dad. dotc was the first arc i read way back when so despite its flaws it’s very special to me. i like that gray wing was just sort of dragged into the plot but genuinely tried his best to do right by everyone even when no one else wanted to.

brightheart, dovewing, squirrelflight, leafpool, and hollyleaf are all pretty standard faves as well. i personally headcanon nightcloud as aroace (or a lesbian depending on if i wanna ship squirrelnight. or both oriented aroaces are valid) who got just as much out of a marriage of convenience type deal with crowfeather as he did. i like that story better than her getting reduced to “crazy jealous wife” just because she messes up leafcrow. idc if it’s not canon, justice for nightcloud, she’s a good mom in a weird situation.

i feel like the last two rows are also pretty normal low-tier faves? extra-special shoutout to palebird tho, her arc is one of my favorite things about tallstar’s revenge and i am so glad she got to be happy eventually. her early appearances made me wanna cry with how cruel the other nursery queens were to her.

I'm gonna answer this in relation to my au cos I have many hcs all over the place and my au is the only thing where I have them all together in comprehensible format sashjsdhakda XD

Where do I start? Probably with explaining the family stuff. (most of this part is taken directly from my notes so excuse the roughness)

Macavity, Munk and Tugger are brothers. Old Deut is their father. Mother dead. Macavity is the oldest but Old Deut always favoured Munk because he was "perfect" but like not really yk. Macavity tried to kill Munk when they were younger but Alonzo intervened, saving Munkustrap’s life (this is why Macavity was exiled). Demestrap is canon and they're parents to Sillabub and Jemima. But first, earlier on he adopted Misto and Quaxo and soon after Vic too (before Demeter came back to the tribe- single dad Munk!)

He has blue eyes because yes XD

He and Alonzo are so close I just hsjkdhag I love them so much! Platonic alonzostrap give me life!!

He had such a hard time when he became head protector. Ramses and Sibylla (Munk's predecessor and his mate and second) were killed in an unexpected Pollicle attack and their premature deaths were a shock to the tribe. Munk had a tough time between having three adopted kittens (one possessing unpredicatable magic) and no mate to help him, having to take some time to choose a second wisely (for the record, his first instinct had been Lonz but his brain said 'no u should wait a while' even tho he was sure but he waited anyway) and having to deal with doubts about his leadership- his brother was Macavity, after all. He just wasn't fully ready. Just as he had found his feet, he was flung into the turmoil that was the return of Demeter, Mungo and Teazer to the tribe.

When Straps has a spare moment, he goes to the mursery to tell the kittens a daring story about adventurous and heroic cats- a lot of whom just so happen to have the same names as them or other cats in the Junkyard. (This is a tradition Gus began a long time ago- even before Munkustrap himself was born)

He has an owner but he spends the majority of his time in the Junkyard.

His patience levels are insane. He is also the ultimate Dad(TM) and doesn't sleep enough.

Munkustrap is a very gifted Storyteller- which is a type of ancient Jellicle magic, often passed down in families. Old Deuteronomy also has a bit of Storytelling magic, though Munk's talent far, far, surpasses his father's.

Munkustrap's favourite colours are the exact shade of Demeter's eyes, and the moonlight reflecting off of Victoria's coat as she dances at the Ball, and the exact pink of Sillabub's tongue when she stops washing her paws in excited wonderment with her tongue still out to listen to another of his stories, and the many different glittering shades of the light on Misto's coat as he does his Conjuring turns, and the colour of the sunlight on Jem's reddish coat, and the rich, velvety black that covers Quaxo from head to tail (except, of course, for the white markings on his ears and the tip of his tail and his little white toes), and the beautiful oranges and brown and golds of Tugger's mane in the evening sunlight and the black and white of Alonzo's coat that he knows better than his own. But if anycat asked, he'd say he didn't have one.

I'm always playing around with other hcs for him. But also Alonzo, who I think has just wormed his way into sharing the top spot with Straps at this point XD.
