i'm sorry i couldn't resist the 5sos reference in the title. anyway. i'm tired so i just wrote a short lil thing about james and regulus going to pride together (enjoy the special rainbow title for the first day of pride) i hope you like it and HAPPY PRIDE MONTH Y'ALL

James never regretted not asking Regulus out until now so much as he does at this moment. Regulus appears at the top of the stairs looking, as best as words can describe, perfect. James feels his heart stop and it doesn’t start beating again until Regulus gives him a small smile. 

He walks down the stairs with ease, which is a miracle to James, given the 5-inch heeled boots he’s wearing. His hair is tied up in a ponytail and his face is covered in rainbow glitter. The freckle constellations littering his face now sparkle in the sun with the added glitter. 

His outfit consists of denim shorts, knee-high socks, a white crop top, and a denim jacket covered in various iron-on patches from all of Regulus’ travels. James thinks he could die a happy man now having seen Regulus in this outfit smiling at him. It is so intrinsically Regulus and he looks so free in it, nothing could be more beautiful to James.

This year is the best pride event James has ever been to. And not because of the event itself, it’s the same as always, but because he has the most incredible man in the world by his side the whole day. James hopes he never leaves his side again.

these people get anxious everytime louis is saying/doing something against their headcanons and theories so they resent him and portray him as a liar because it’s their coping mechanism. but louis is a human being and not some cartoon character whom they can use, i wish they would understand this
