introducing HERM LIKELY!!! (this is an au that i came up w months ago and is very near and dear to me)

- instead of being raised by humans, scam and jodie were actually good parents and raised herm as a half demon half likely!

- in-universe, this was basically an au written by mark bc she was fed up w scam being a bad dad and felt bad about her nephew suffering trauma sm in canon (i imagine marks gimmick being that he makes revisions to the dndads story as if hes writing fanfic)

- herm was born in goofs realm (and visits very frequently) but mainly lives in hell w their parents (scam isnt home as often bc of "work") and nicky

- herm is scam and marks apprentice, and they often take them on "business trips"

- while scam shapeshifts into real people and mark into her own ocs, herm plays as dc heroes! (instead of villains, so theyre the batman instead of the joker)

- theyre still a theater kid who method acts (using marks revised transcript as their script), but w/o the identity issues. they just play different characters bc its fun and they like to mess w people

- nicky tried to keep the swifts a secret from herm bc he knew they would go mess w them on not-earth if they found out. which is exactly what happened

- the doodler is still a thing and the teens are still on the daddies mission, but herm basically shows up so they can scam taylor and then ends up derailing the whole mission bc they want to have fun w their nephew and their new friends

- their role in the friend group is sorta reversed, instead of being a "helpful villain" theyre like a "harmful hero"! (and by harmful i just mean. chaotic and inconvenient. as all likelys are) taylor is their sidekick instead of the other way around, and they see themself as the main character of the story (the main character by will wood is their anthem)
