Hey I finally updated my ASOUE fic! As a reminder, Sunny is now Sorrel (he/she/they) and has been separated from his family for years. They seek out Olaf to help her reunite with them.

“I made us breakfast,” Sorrel said.

Olaf finally seemed to jolt awake and notice that Sorrel had, in fact, been cooking. He stared at the pile for a moment. “Don't you hate me?”

Sorrel waited until Olaf looked back up from the French toast. He wanted to give Olaf a nice, strong glare as he spoke. Maybe if he did, this time it would stick in Olaf's head. “My siblings hate you. I don't remember you. I don't care if you're a good person. I know you're not. I just care if you can find them.”

Okay, so German government under Olaf Scholz has said "YES, we will make life easier for trans-, inter- and nonbinary people :D :D :D :D ............................................... in November 2024." What is the meaning of this and why am I so ENRAGED: Today was a big day. I was nervous, my brother way nervous, probably everyone who is one of the aforementioned genders as well as their allies were nervous. The old law concerning name- and genderchange is incredibly anti-human. You have to pay a lot of money out of your own purse, have to face court and (in some cases) have to face offensive questioning. The new law says you go to the registry office, declare your gender (male, female or the unspecific "divers") and your surname-wish and within 3 months it is just done. For children from 14-18 years of age a legal guardian has to give their consent. Also you can change gender again after one year in case you change mind on the matter. Nothing in the law has anything to do with transitioning. It's all... well, basically just paperwork for some dude behind a monitor to do. Nothing lifechanging in a medical sense. But still incredibly helpful. Now to the question why I am so angry. When marriage for all was introduced in 2017 the period between "yes, let's do that" and "ok, now you people of Germany can actually start marrying each other :D " - because obviously there had to be some changes to be made for the dude behind the monitor to actually recognize that this is indeed legal and perfectly fine - took.... about 4 months. And people started marrying after 4 months. In this case however.... let's check again: The month is August 2023, the law is hopefully active in November 2024...... It's OVER A YEAR. OVER A YEAR in which this law can still be ripped apart in the German Parliament by several parties, including the very right AfD and the Union (which consists of the christian parties, and fyi one of them met up with deSantis and "agreed to his 'analysis' what could that mean? an idiot would ask).

Meanwhile everything in Germany is slowly but surely tipping to the right because EVERYONE in the leftish parties is overwhelmed and confused and very often downright stupid when it comes to dealing with the general questions of Germany's future. I am so tired. And angry.

German parliament votes to make it easier for people to legally change their name and gender

German lawmakers on Friday approved legislation that will make it easier for transgender, intersex and nonbinary people to change their name and gender in official records.

The "self-determination law," one of several social reforms that Chancellor Olaf Scholz's liberal-leaning coalition government pledged when it took office in late 2021, is set to take effect on Nov. 1.

Germany, the European Union's most populous nation, follows several other countries in making the change. Parliament's lower house, the Bundestag, approved it by 374 votes to 251 with 11 abstentions.

The German legislation will allow adults to change their first name and legal gender at registry offices without further formalities. They will have to notify the office three months before making the change.

What transphobes think happens when kids learn about queer people:

Kid that's not queer: "Wait there's gay people & trans people ?? That must mean everyone is gay & trans, I'm gay & trans !!!" *grows up & has trauma from transitioning when they weren't gay or trans*

What actually happens when kids learn about queer people:

Kid that's not queer: "There's gay & trans people ? Cool !!"

AT MOST the kid may explore their gender & sexuality, but the most transitioning a kid does while transitioning is a hair cut, name change [not even legal, just maybe family saying it or family telling the school "Hey, out kid is C, but they wanna go by F"], pronoun change, & clothing change & MAYBE blockers, AKA all 100% reversible things.

And exploring sexuality as a kid is just... "This is my boyfriend/girlfriend" which as little kids, is normally just being friends but holding hands & maybe kisses on the cheek or something. Nothing weird.

Like I saw this woman say her daughter learned about being nonbinary, & the kid became OBSESSED w/ it. Not because she was nonbinary [the mom said she explicitly asked & her daughter said no she wasn't], she just thought it was cool. She would say certain characters were nonbinary like Olaf from Frozen. She wasn't confused or anything & she didn't jump to "Well since nonbinary is a thing, that means I'm nonbinary &/or a trans boy"

& that's how ALL kids react. Yes maybe some will be like "Omg me !!!" But most of those kids who learn about queer people & then say they're queer, already were queer, they just didn't know there was a term for it. Sure some will say they're queer but then get older & say "Wait no I'm not" but again, transitioning as a child involves things thst are fully reversible. & them understand their gender & sexuality is good !!! Even if they're like "I'm gay & trans. No wait I'm cis & straight, but now I know what that means to me"

oh fuck yeah gravity falls. it was arties first big tv show hyperfixation and were thinking of rewatching it soon :) also when you select the game on the ds menu it plays the last few seconds of the opening theme which is cool. also holy shit we havent played this since 2016 so i started a new save file to preserve that one. i know 12yo artie had a lot of fun with this game :)

interior design is my passion. artie named his character after an old name for one of his ocs which dates this massively lmao. what also dates this is the old lesbian and aro flag in the custom designs. also peep the transhet flag he made. we really loved this game

All my Frozen LGBT headcanons

(For now). These are my own personal headcanons on which other people are obviously allowed to differ. Some have in-depth reasons and others are based on Vibes or ‘because I want to’.

Elsa is aromantic and asexual. Getting the most obvious one (for anyone who knows my blog) out of the way first. Elsa doesn’t show any interest in romance or dating, and she seems to enjoy her independence, opting for a solo life with occasional visits to her family over settling down with anyone. Also I’m aroace and I like her.

Anna is bisexual (or maybe pansexual). No real textual evidence for this, I just see Anna as someone who loves deeply and I think that her love could be directed at any gender. The reason she only considers men at first is because she grew up reading traditional heterosexual fairy tales.

Kristoff is bi too, but also on the aro spectrum (probably greyromantic). Unlike Anna, who if she’d met enough people would have been the teenager who has a new crush every week, I think Kristoff was only occasionally interested in anyone, and it never lasted very long until Anna came along.

Olaf is nonbinary. Sure, he describes himself as a boy once, but I don’t think it means the same to him as it does to a cis boy or binary trans boy. He’s a snowman. That’s kind of its own gender. Plus I’m nonbinary and I must project onto someone. (Also he’s ace by default because sentient snowmen are spawned by magic and don’t have sexual reproduction)

Ryder is gay. This is mostly based on vibes, but also he seems like he could be interested in Kristoff, and it adds a new meaning to him admitting he knows nothing about women.

Honeymaren is either a lesbian or bi (with a preference for women). She just has big wlw energy.

Speaking of big wlw energy, Yelena is a lesbian. I have no real reason, but I have decided and I will not be dissuaded.

Oh look, I've started something long!

Count Olaf is not dead in this, and Sorrel (formerly Sunny) Baudelaire seeks him out so they can find the other Baudelaires after 6 years of separation. They are quite a duo, if I may say so myself. Sorrel is 14, nonbinary and absolutely full of conflict. So yeah, between their turmoil and Olaf's chaos, this is gonna be fun.

She lowered her voice down to almost a whisper. “I know about you, Olaf. I know you’re smart. I know you could track down my siblings without breaking a sweat, no matter where they went. I know there was nothing in the world you wanted more than the Baudelaire fortune. I don't care about wicked and noble. I don't care how many people you have to kill or how many houses you have to burn. I want my family back. If you do that, I’ll give you my cut of the fortune.”
