How to evolve: No Evolution.

No shiny version as it is shiny locked.

Region: A region of eternal night as scientists created plants that could grow in moonlight, though there is some places that try to create artificial lights for the plants that couldn't grow in the moonlight. The moon still changing to different fullness percents with times there is no moon visible.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Dragon Dark.

Pokemon species name: The serpent dragon.

Ability: Magic guard.

Description: This Pokémon is only known by a few select people in the entire region. It has strong magical abilities that it can use outside of battles. It was once known to the public however overtime its existence was covered up to most people. It became only a vague memory at best to some. It is an ancient Pokémon that a long time ago put certain Pokémon to sleep; Only to be awoken when this Pokémon uses its magic to allow this to happen. The reason for it putting these Pokémon to sleep is mostly agreed to be to allow it to show it's better than them, though some insist it is aware it will one day be defeated and stored those Pokémon away as a last resort defence. It is able to turn invisible by darting through a cloud in the sky, however this is only a temporary thing as it cannot be invisible for more than two minutes. It can use its long tail to wrap its victims up, and will usually use its tail to wrap up a victim before kidnapping them though this rarely happens.

Lore: This Pokémon is said to have slept for one thousand years until it was awakened by a persons Pokémon magic. It is believed to be a vengeful Pokémon believed that it will destroy the world if not stopped. Its power was greatly feared by the masses, and still is to those who know of its existence. It is said in ancient legends that if this Pokémon were to awaken from its slumber then a hero will rise to stop its rampage; and this hero will be able to get it to break the spell of eternal night making night and day cycles again. That person will be declared the highest standing hero of the region. Though this hero must beware as it is said that this Pokémon will be able to sense if someone is the hero, and it may use its magic to do what it deems needed to stop its defeat. In some ancient tales it's said that it can roar in a way that it can be heard across the land, and thus was deemed to be an omen that the end of the world is to come.

Moon blast: A full moon appears between the Pokémon's horns and with the power of the moon sends a beam at its opponent. Only able to hit one opponent.

Star fall: Stars are summoned around the Pokémon and launched at an opponent like meteors. Able to hit multiple opponents at once.

Design inspiration: Mega Absol, Dragonair, Pokemon fusions, dragons, and imagining how royal dragons would lay to look down upon their subjects, with a slight change so the pokemon is looking to its wings instead of just holding its head up high.

Lunar region is a region that I have thought about making. I will be making more Pokémon and variants for this region.

okokok so this post is just me digging into my thoughts on how legendaries are god-like beings. both in anime and game, though it's mostly focused on the anime sry.

really fucking long post sorry

Let's start off with the games. How are there like 7 different versions of the same legendary just roaming around. Simple either the games take place years apart, the legend has been released by it's owner and is just somewhere else. orrrr most legends are able to make copies of themselves, like dividing yourself into parts and spreading them, but in the end same pokemon. idk choose what you like

I know how in the games the mc is thought to be the chosen one of the games legendary, and in the anime i definetly think some characters are chosen ones (a post i will make). I personally think that since some legendaries are god-like not only can the pick chosen ones, the can give blessings and many other gifts.

The three things legendaries can do relating to humans:

pick a chosen one: they can pick multiple though it's mostly just one. one person can be the chosen one of multiple legends, this happens often.

give blessings: they can be short term or long term. same deal as before, they can give multiple a human can recieve multiple.

give physical magic gifts: human gets magic stick with the powers of the legend. less common

Of these three things I will talk about the first two, because the third one i have little research for. It just makes sense...

Once again in my headcanons, different legends have a different level of power. This is based off of how many people believe in them or worship them. Since Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina are like the first gods they have the most power and the most believers. A note here, people don't need to worship to believe. So all the scientists researching dialga, giving him power. (also legend headcanons of mine will be included here so like ehhh)

Now let's actually get onto what legends can do what!!!

Arceus: Has one chosen one, picks them before their birth with the help of dialga and a look through time. Their chosen one will be born and die with Arceus's crest upon their head. Will talk to said chosen one through dreams, mirrors, any art depictions of Arceus, and hallucinations. Can give out blessings but will not, their a bitch.

Dialga: One chosen one (copying parent) usually shares them with palkia. Will straight up show up in front of the chosen one to talk to them, he does not fuck around. Can give blessings, doesn't do it often.

Palkia: One chosen one (copying parent) usually shares them with dialga. Talks directly to the chosen one, no mind games. Can give blessings, doesn't do it often.

Giratina: One chosen one, she doesn't want to burden people with her powers/issues. Doesn't talk to them at all unless needed, uses chosen one status to protect them. Can give out blessings, does it often she give out protective ones.

Mew: One chosen one, how it choses one is unknown, though it just wants someone to play with maybe it just choses someone interesting. Talks to them by just barely letting them see it and sometimes telepathy. Can give blessings, has only done it once or twice.

Legendary Birds: (i will sometimes group them) Can't pick chosen ones! But can give blessings, but they rarely do that.

Lugia: Can pick a chosen one, hasn't done so in a while. Doesn't want to torture anyone with that responsibility. Can give blessings, has given out many blessings to many people.

Mewtwo: can't do anything except suffer

Legendary beasts: can't do anything, maybe blessings but not really

Ho-Oh: Can pick a chosen one, hasn't found the right person yet. Has given out many blessings to many people.

The Regis: can't do shit

Regigigas: Can't pick a chosen one, can give blessings hasn't done so yet.

Latias & Latios: Can pick chosen ones, usually just a human friend they care about. Can't give out blessings.

Raquaza: Can pick chosen ones, and has. Will talk to them directly or though the wind. Can give blessings, has given out many. Tries to protect as many people with blessings, and gives strength to those who can fight.

Kyogre: Can pick a chosen one, has over the years. Will not talk to them. Can give blessings, and has given many out. Usually to water loving people and water pokemon specialists. (sometimes bug too)

Groudon: Can pick a chosen one, has over the years. Will not talk to them. Can give blessings, has given out many. Given to hikers and biologists, or fire/ground specialists.

Lake Guardians: Can pick one chosen one all together, don't pick often. Can give out blessings, have given out many blessings. They are focused on their gift of knowledge, emotion, and willpower.

Cresselia: No chosen ones ever. Can give out blessings, usually by granting people their wishes and good dreams.

Heatran: he's useless i'm sorry

Swords of Justice: Can't pick chosen ones. Can give blessings as long as they are in part of the magic in objects or gifts.

Forces of Nature: Can give blessings but like not to one person, but to a city or place in a whole.

Reshiram: Can pick a chosen one, will talk to them through flickers of light and glowing objects. Can give out blessings, will give them out to anyone who believes in him and he deems as worth protecting (good ppl) Also to people who know the truths behind Unova and the issues there, are tires to fix them.

Zekrom: Can pick a chosen one, will talk to them through shadows and broken objects that used to contain light, like a dead lightbulb. Can give out blessings and has given them out many times. Gives them to nice people who need help. Also to people who have strong ideals for Unova and work towards them.

Kyurem: Can't pick a chosen one but can give out blessings. Usually gives them to a mix ideals and truths, and ones who try nothing to fix or better Unova. Their blessings are kind of a threat.

...is hoopa a legendary?? eh they can't do anything

Xerneas: Can pick a chosen one, will talk to them through their thoughts or their own words. Can give blessings, gives them to mothers and anyone who takes care of or raises life. But not to scientists.

Yveltal: Can pick a chosen one, will talk to them through other peoples words and actions. Can give blessings, gives them to mourge workers and anyone who takes care of life when they are dying. Never to scientists.

Zygarde: Can pick a chosen one, though they are mostly just the trainer they will listen to. Can give out blessings, will never give any to scientists. (excepet sycamore but he's special)

Silvally: Can be an amazing partner pokemon

Guardian Deities of Alola: Can pick chosen ones, they are mostly the (forgot the name) people who represent them. Can give blessings will give them to anyone they think deserves a blessing. Protection and strength.

Solgaleo: Can pick a chosen one, sometimes shares with Lunala. Will talk to them directly if needed. Gives blessings to anyone he thinks deserves them, mostly to preformers.

Lunala: Can pick a chosen one, sometimes shares with Solgaleo. Will talk to them directly if need. Gives blessings to anyone she thinks deserves them, mostly to artisans.

Necrozma: Can pick a chosen one, will talk to them through hallucinations and throughts. Can give blessings, mostly to scientists.

Zacian: Can pick a chosen one, rarely shares with Zamazenta. Can't give out blessings, not many people believe in them.

Zamazenta: Can pick a chosen one, rarely shares with Zacian. Can't give out blessings, not many people believe in them.

Eternatus: Can pick a chosen one, will pick someone interesting that they will have fun with.

Calyrex: Can't pick a chosen one, but can give blessings but not to one person but to an area.

Treasures of Ruin: Can pick one chosen one all together and give blessings. Usually pick people who like chaos but also believe destruction is part of the natural order. Historians.

Koraiadon/Miraiadon: Can't do either technically because in their respected times they aren't legendaries put in this time they are. But they pick you as a trainer so maybe a chosen one situation.

Loyal Three: can't do shit fuck them

Ogrepon: Can't do anything either but she picks you so maybe a blessing on you and your friends.

Terapagos: idk yet. I think blessings makes sense though

There are all my ideas of what each legend can do. Thank you for reading this. I think older legends are more god like and are therefore stronger. They are more god like because people actually like worship them. There are religions based off them. While newer legends are like not really remembered or not real legends.
