Its 3 am and that means it's time for more worldbuilding of my fanfic, this time the Energy system.

Currently there are 6 distinct Energies known, but only 2 are well known and studied, Psychic and Aura. 4 are regarded to be connected to each other with a relationship of advantage, while the other 2 are more like two sides to a coin. The 4 energies in a system are the energies of Mind, Heart, Spirit, and Shadow. These are the energies of Psychic power, Aura, Ghost, and Darkness respectively.

Psychic- The Mind-Natural counterpart to Aura, Inversion of Spirit. This energy has the mind as it's nexus of power, and allows it's wielder to manipulate the minds of others and the world around them. Wielding this power to achieve a new function requires the wielder to have the right mindset and sufficient focus. What this means in practicality is that no two students will learn at the same rate, each needing to find the mindset that is right for them. (Student A and B are both being taught how to make Barriers. Student A gets it after they feel the need to protect others, but Student B gets it quicker after they feel the need to protect themself.)

Aura- The Heart-Natural counterpart to Psychic energy, Inversion of Darkness. This energy has the body as it's nexus of power and is primarily used to fortify and strengthen it's wielder's body. It has many wavelengths that have different effects when expressed. It's other usage is providing a form to energy that persist, making it vital for nearly all Energy based Moves. (Swift is a volley of star shaped Aura projectiles shaped to home in on the strongest Aura source other then it's shooter, while a Flamethrower is a gout of Aura shaped to burn in the air.)

Ghost- the Spirit- The inverse of Psychic, counterpart of Dark. This energy is not natural to this world, and is instead drawn from the alternate dimension known as the Distortion World. It can be used for very wide variety of purposes, and can be compared to Psychic energy in it's usage. It is also known as Distortion as it eats away at matter when left unshaped, destroying itself in the process. This trait extends to other Energies, cutting through Psychic like a hot knife through butter. Aura and Darkness are more resistant to this effect due to their own properties.

Dark- The Shadow- Inversion of Aura, Counterpart to Ghost. This energy is also drawn from the Distortion World. It's presence destabilizes other energies, with Aura's reinforcement ability resisting it. Dark type pokemon have organs in their body that passively channel this energy throughout their body.

The other 2 energies are that of Belief and Existence, commonly referred to as Fairy and Dragon energy respectively. These energies suffuse all of creation, with folklore stating they are the material what Arcues used to build and shape their work. Dragon energy is more well studied but that is not saying much in how well understood either is. Belief, also known as Voice, is the energy used in Fairy moves and abilities, and as the name says it's usage relies on belief. The symbolism of the Moon has become central to using this energy over the course of history, with countless stories told and retold connecting it to the supernatural. And as people believe these stories they become a personal truth. This energy triumphs over that of Existence, practitioner's able to alter it to harmless sparkles with ease. Existence, known more commonly as Claw or Dragon, is an energy that sustains creation and empowers it further. Very little is known about it, with most knowledge centered on it's battle applications. Dragon type pokemon produce a much larger amount of it then other pokemon and are better able to wield it, strengthening themselves and their attacks to an extreme degree. There is folklore of it being used to empower mundane weapons with fantastical abilities, but no such weapon is confirmed to exists.

Oh copy/paste and desktop Tumblr, how I've missed you so XDD

I'm still unable to sit at my desk for as long as I'd like to.. but I can sit long enough to draw some comics here and there at least! One of which being a (somewhat) angsty comic with Grim and V! Did you really think they escaped my angst curse?? It was only a matter of time before I cursed them as well! XDD

But for real, I've wanted to draw something angsty with Grim and V for a while now. And I'm glad I was finally able to! Even if its kind'aaa more of a goofy comic with angsty undertones rather than full on angst. XDD

The more I draw these two, the more lore I start to build in the background... I wonder if I should explore Grim's more serious angst sometime.. 😈😈

Decided to finish this one for Valentine's Day, but got it ready too early so I decided to post it anyways, maybe I will make something new for Valentine.

COORIER is based on the Luzon Bleeding-Heart (Gallicolumba luzonica) mixed with a Mailman/Delivery Courier

It has the ability Overcoat as a reference to the phrase “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds” often associated with the postal office
