Rosa Bonheur's sensitivity to canine emotions (as well as her understanding of their anatomy) stands out here as she ably conveys the hunting dog's desire to be free of constraints. Barbaro was one of several animals she kept and painted at her home near the Forest of Fontainebleau.”

Petit fanart de Trico, de The Last Guardian ✨️ Réalisé pour un concours dessin sur Insta

Entre nous, c'est pas mon plus beau dessin 🥲 parfois faut être réaliste et reconnaître quand on se loupe...

Je voulais créer un petit décor sympa, inspiré des paysages du jeu, mais j'arrivais pas à faire quelque chose de satisfaisant 😭 j'ai dû abandonner l'idée, pour finalement faire un fond de couleur tout simple :')

À part le décor inexistant, Trico est plutôt bien, même si j'ai souvent du mal avec les plumes... pour le dessiner, j'ai fait une fusion entre mes portraits animaliers (tête), mon fanart des dragons de TOTK (pattes), et une study que je publierai prochainement (ailes).

Mes prochaines studies seront des décors, pour éviter de reproduire la même erreur 💪

"This painting is unusually well preserved because it was painted with enamel colors and then fired on an earthenware plaque – an endeavor in which Stubbs was assisted by the Enlightenment scientist Josiah Wedgwood. This elaborate and experimental technique was conducive to Stubbs’s highly detailed style, which seems appropriate to the tiny and precious dog that is his subject here."
