the starfell dress was a blast to make even tho it took FOREVER to sew all of those little beads onto the stars and body of the dress AND i had to frankenstein two patterns together. i had to frankenstein the patterns on the red banquet dress as well, but this set was more to show off how it looks/moves with the cage crinoline underneath hehe.

would you believe im a butch with a buzzcut under this. lady at the faire tried to sell me hair soap and i was like "oh i dont have a lot of hair" and she gave me this weird look before i was like "OH YEAH IM IN A WIG"

happy new year! as a treat, i have finished snow's outfits :D she's the last in the series after cinders and rose :3 as always, lore under the cut!

much like cinders, snow was designed to be in compliment to rose! we know from the album that she was beautiful and had long black hair but beyond that i wanted to make sure she looked like she could feasibly be rose's sister. she is also a bear girl <3

snow is fat! it was very important to me that she was fat with stretch marks and still extremely beautiful. so, here she is !!

i gave her a beauty mark because it's very classic hollywood beauty

you also probably couldn't actually see her tail at this angle because tiny bear tail but its so cute!

since this is pre becoming general white, she's a lot softer and gentler than her sister

fun fact: snow is actually her middle name but nobody ever calls her by her first name adelaide ever

also. this woman is so busy do you think she has the time to think about her gender and sexuality ever

dressing gown

snow is exceptionally wealthy and powerful so of course she has a monogrammed silk dressing gown. she doesn't actually wear it to sleep; she overheats way too quickly so she wears very little to bed.

entering the first appearance of snow's favorite color to wear: light blue!

yes, snow is wearing a wedding ring. since she's 29 and the head of a noble house, i figured she would be married. it was an arranged marriage to darr, the youngest child of some count somewhere because ze is entirely unambitious and willing to let snow do her thing

they also have a son together. his name is eret, he is 3, he looks up to auntie rose a little too much, his favorite animals are snakes and penguins, and he will quote space-disney at you incessantly.

duchess work dress

snow is the grand duchess of the duchy of delinore. she is the only grand duchess in the entire empire; this is the title that is equivalent to crown prince. yes she is technically his majesty king cole's heir due to being the current hereditary grimm on the throne of delinore. this is mostly a ceremonial fact since his majesty is immortal. delinore is 12 inhabited planets large and covers an entire star system which makes her perhaps the most powerful woman in the galaxy. snow is very tired all the time.

i was watching disney's snow white while designing this and the next outfit; i really like the blue and yellow look on her

this is a modular outfit! she can put on and take off the vest and cape depending on how formal she needs to be.

snow wears a lot of jewelry. this earring and necklace set was an anniversary present from her spouse!

the silver circlet atop her head is that of the duchess. you'll see it in almost every other outfit afterwards; it's like a wedding ring but for her noble status

court of stars

as his majesty's heir, snow is required to take part in the irregular meetings of his majesty's inner court: the court of stars. much of the lesser laws are handled by the council of stars and the other, lesser nobility. full disclosure: snow fucking hates this. she uses her position to do much good in the world and views his majesty like an extremely shitty and powerful grandfather she has to put up with in order to do what she needs to do. if the wedding day slaughter hadn't happened, she would still have eventually caused his death through an insane game of "political assassination cat and mouse." Y'know, different from the war.

this is the evil queen type fit. i just wanted to draw her as an evil queen okay

lorewise, this is the ceremonial outfit of her status tailored to her feminine appearance. black and red cape, deep purple dress, shiny gold jewelry, all designed to be as evil as possible

the bear clasp is the same as rose's! its the grimm family's symbol (cuz. they're all bears lol)

the dress sparkles like stars

she absolutely didn't have to go this hard with the makeup but she had fun with it. a small relief when dealing with his majesty

basically i just went really hard on the star motif

the crown is the ceremonial black iron crown of the grand duke that only ever comes out in court meetings. it's a smaller version of his majesty's black iron crown. its really heavy :(

casual

the return of the blue and yellow! this is snow's favorite color combo to wear ever <3

snow likes to wear pants when she doesn't have to deal with the many duties of being the grand duchess. it's her casual fit!

this particular set of jewelry has the snowflake motif. it's extremely on the nose which is why she likes it.

i dunno what tank tops with the extra shoulder straps are called but i thought it suited her <3

she would fully wrestle rose in this fit btw. she wouldn't win but it'd be fun!

ballgown

snow's ballgown for wearing to formal events (that she typically hosts). technically she owns a lot more, but this one is representative of her usual style. the bodice is typical, though it is a bit risque because it has no sleeves. the skirt is even moreso but she pulls it off because of her status and because she is commonly named the most beautiful woman in all the galaxy.

i thought it would be fun to put her in red! its such a loaded color in ouatis but she really pulls it off

and here's the light yellow she's so fond of <3

the boots are big and shiny and quite excessive; fully a display of wealth (especially since she's showing them off)

the drape of her skirt, rather than being modest and layered like cinders', is very form fitting and attention grabbing even without the slit

she would put her hair up but i did not have the patience to try and redraw her hair more than i had to lol

the gold jewelry she wears is big and heavy and almost armor-like. she likes it a lot

she put glitter on her makeup for this one <3

I shifted the shirt color slightly toward purple/lavender since it's technically the Church of Prime

obviously had to keep his iconic glasses -> might have significance to being a Shepherd of Prime (since blue and red make purple when combined)

pants are slightly short, indicating that they were borrowed, likely from Eret (technically Wilbur would've made more sense since they're the same height, but Ranboo isn't really comfortable enough with him to borrow clothes)

wears socks around the ship (if he left the ship he'd probably wear slides with them bc I'm a slides and socks believer)

the Hawaiian shirt is borrowed from Tubbo

(2 days before the wedding)

It has been 3 months since the big reveal. And every time me, Clay, Nick or George go live we have been bombarded with questions from chat. And we have always answered it the same

"You don't need to worry, Tommy will vlog it so you get to know what goes down."

So we could continue our streams with less interruptions. And we also have FINALLY found out who Clay's best mans gonna be. And well the options were supposed to be Nick or George but because of the constant arguing... Patches, has been bought a suit and will be the best man.

But enough about the past few months. I gotta tell you about today!

Today I have packed my stuff because I'm gonna be spending the next 2 nights at a Hotel with Eret, my bridesmaids and some friends.

And also Tommy because he wants to vlog

And because of the superstition of no seeing the bride before the wedding. I have been packing. Slowly, because of Clay distracting me with his honeymoon phase already being activated.

"Clay... Stop before this goes to far" I say as his chin nudges even further into the crook of my neck.

"do you haft to go? The tradition is stupid anyway?" He says with a whiny voice while kissing my jawline "the tradition may be stupid but I've already told my friends I was gonna be there in an hour" I respond while moving a bit away from him and kissing his nose while getting up. He whines as he tries to drag me back to the floor "jesus, your acting like a clingy cat" I laugh while I pick up my bag and walk out the bedroom door with Clay following shortly behind me. "do you have your dress?" He asks even though he already knows it's in the hands of Eret and the bridesmaids.

"bye Y/n!" I hear Sapnap say from the living room as George holds Dream back from follow me out the door.

"bye you guys!" I say as I wave goodbye and walk out the door. "There gonna burn the house down" I mumble to myself while getting into the Uber.

"It will be around a 30 minute drive" The Uber driver says while I nod and turn on my favorite song to listen to for the drive.

And when I look up from my phone I see my friends all waiting for me. Which Tommy has brought over Ranboo and Tubbo to keep the vlog interesting.

"The woman has arrived!" Tommy says while holding the camera up to my face "You don't need to scream, I'm right here!" I scream back jokingly as he continues to scream into my ear.

"How did Dream take you leaving?" Eret says while taking my bag from the car and all of us walking inside. "I think he took it well" I say while clearly joking as I look around the hotel lobby. "This is gonna be a fun 2 days" I say as Tommy turns off the camera

(1 day before the wedding)

I have been playing competitive Candyland with the Bench trio for the the last 10 minutes and so far Ranboo is in first, Me in second, Tubbo in third and Tommy in last. "You haft to go back to licorice castle Tommy" I point as he screams "What the fuck!?!" As I move his red character back to the castle. "Why do you keep on going back?" Tubbo says with a laugh as Ranboo pulls a card. "I win!" Ranboo lifts his card up showing that he has landed a red and moves his character to the end.

"What the hell did I just walk into?" Niki says as she walks in with Wilbur shortly behind her. "NIKI!" I scream as I run to her because of her sudden appearance "Did you think I was gonna miss this! I get to be a bridesmaid!" She says as she hugs me. "I'm just gonna slip on through here" Wilbur says while walking in and immediately getting tackled hugged by the three boys that we're just sitting down in the living room. "All my bridesmaids have finally arrived" I say while letting go of Niki.

and for my next random ramble: Eret’s costume.

they start with a standard jacket and jeans, casual wear similar to Wilbur’s as L’Manberg is built. and then their revolutionary gear is also standard.

when they become king, oh hoho ho. their base king’s regalia should be the white ruffled shirt, red king’s coat, black trousers, crown. here’s where it gets fun. during s1, where they’re at their proudest of what they did and where it got them, they have a full length red cape. trails on the floor and everything. for travelling about, same cape just shorter, bit more of a rounded hem for easier movement. for their coronation, the cape’s length and width should be totally bananas. covers half the stage behind them. full statement of wealth and power. but as they doubt what they did more and more, they stop wearing the full cape so often. eventually, when they decide to fight on the side of pogtopia (I wish I could draw for this bit), the silhouette of their coat matches the silhouette of the L’Manberg coats.

then there’s s2 (more travelling cape post-dethronement), s3 where they should wear the banquet dress the whole season post-banquet because it’s gorgeous, perhaps with a red silk shawl overtop - sorta like Wilbur’s that went to Niki? - then back to full cape for s4 as they try to use their power for good. and also for s3 pre-banquet they get the nicer version of the king’s outfit to represent how they’re thriving now Dream is gone.

Once they are outside the range of the scaffold, Wilbur stops playing guitar and flips it to his back while holding out a calloused hand, his chocolate eyes wild in the early air. “You have been selected to join our crew, friend, now hurry up! We must get back to the ship before the moon sets!”

Techno’s mind whirled, thinking of the others he had in his past who would kill over this opportunity. He always listened to the tales with a healthy level of scorn, he believed in Her because you had to cling to something in the darkest storms but the Stormdancer always felt more mythical than reality. Something practically out of a fairy tale was reaching its hand out to bring him aboard for the adventure of a lifetime, he would be a fool to not take that offer.

Taking that outstretched opportunity, they talk off running while yelling grew louder from the square, realising the deception. Pondering why he was chosen, he let the singing man bring him to the docks to confront a ship straight out of a myth.

Made of dark oak planks, it was an elegant specimen Techno had only ever heard spoken about with a tone of awe. Never having laid his blue eyes on it until now, his mouth drops open as they come closer to the lowered gangplank. With several rows of windows, the vessel towered above the other ships docked with rose-red curtains within the glass panes. A vibrant purple flag flew in the masts, a black rose surrounded with electric blue lightning strikes waved proudly in the warm salt-smelling air of the open sea.

Wilbur whistles happily the moment his feet touch the plank leading up to the Stormdancer, someone with nearly as many legends waits at the top for the new member of her crew. Captain Belladonna stood with her hand upon a shining sword hilt, her calling card bloom tucked above her ear pierced with an emerald earring with a golden foundation. Noticing a similar piece in Wilbur’s lobe, Techno lets the excitable man drag him onto his new life.
