My problem is that the world wants me to have a job and a car and shit, but my idol for both career and transportation is Gandalf. My job should be coming and going as I please, showing up to shout about impending doom and send people on quests, then leaving to have my face touched and my eyes stared tenderly into by beautiful married elf women, and presumably fight evil or something. And my main methods of transportation should be fucking off into the wilderness and/or giant eagle. I don't think that's too much to ask for, yet here we are still.

Garou chopping in half Sage Centipede with the moon watching as he says "This is a blessing" is very underrated foreshadowing imo...

Because Garou imo, freely as his genuine self with his own power, is this story's best blessing~ 😌 So don't think I'll ever forgive or forget That Thing for daring to sabotage, enforce Its will of a toxic ‘blessing,’ and defile it. Not until that alien Thing on the dark side of the moon is destroyed, or Garou re-perfects his literal 'God-Slayer Fist' to be used/enacted on that Thing in the future for real, for true justice served~

Ahem. But honestly, so many of those 'moon' panels were obnoxiously added as 'foreshadowing', staring down intently at all of Tatsumaki and Saitama's moments too, with that same creepy vibe as an Evil, all-seeing Eye of Sauron, lidless and always watching, actively hostile against humanity's best interests to resist and survive, waiting to awaken to Its full power, and to exploit and punish those who’d act in defiance to Its rules of control. That the most egregious blatant moon ‘eye’ panel was inserted in vol24, right after all the Orochi sacrifice-prophecy-altar stuff.

So the ongoing threat of this watchful Thing can’t keep getting away scott-free (even Sitch knows they can’t ignore it and still aren’t done prepping/arming humanity against what’s incoming), and hopefully Garou does continue to fight against it (for humanity’s sake), or there won’t be any true Peace or Justice brought to the opm world.

i’m suffering from too many things disease. theres too much stuff i want to do or read or watch right now but i can only do so much at once

#currently being consumed by 3 shows and physically restraining myself from starting another #well that’s a lie i did start it. i watched all of season one one weekend. but i’ve restrained myself from going further #i have like 100 episodes left in one. and maybe 40 in another? the other one is still ongoing and not on hiatus #the new show is really long though and im just staring at it #also have two shows i’ve been wanting to rewatch #and then there’s the visceral need for a cosmere reread #another series that i need to reread before i read the final book that’s coming out in like a week #plus a series im halfway through that i got burnt out of but have been thinking about recently #to be fair i was reading a book a day and they’re like 600/700 pages #and then there’s the projects. god the projects. so many projects #and i can’t forget about my need to speedrun my class which takes up more of my thoughts than i’d like to admit #anyway yeah i’m suffering #but in a good way. kinda. #i read 200k words today. that was my version of being productive #and then finished some seasons i was halfway through #and brainstormed and started my tragedy piece #i’ll probably finish it later tonight and edit tomorrow #also definitely need to do my annual hobbit/lotr rewatch soon. i reread it this summer but i normally watch the movies in december
