So like, we know what Luigi was doing in SMG vaguely, but did we ever get any confirmation about what he was doing in SMG2? Because I don’t remember it. Anyways headcanon Luigi decided to sneak onto an airship and kiiiinda got stranded in space and decided to collect Power Stars once realizing they could fix the busted up Starshroom he found. Eventually he n Mario accidentally end up on the same planet and that’s kinda why Luigi randomly shows up in random galaxies after you get like 30 Stars

Mini-zine about why driving slowly helps frogs! (Rough and short english translation below!)

English translation:

Page 1) Why does it help to drive slowly during toad migrations?

Page 2&3) During certain times of the year, car drivers might notice signs that urge them to drive slowly due to toad migrations. But why does that help? Even if you drive as slow as you walk, you probably can‘t avoid toads or frogs… apart from that, dodging them while driving might actually be dangerous! (Grandma in the car asks: „is that a frog or a leaf?“)

But dodging them isn‘t the idea! While driving, the car pushes air away from it. Some of the air goes underneath the car where it causes a certain amount of pressure between the car and the road. The faster you drive, the more intense is the pressure.

4&5) If you look at the skeleton of a frog, you can see one major difference to that of a human: While humans have ribs that protect many of their organs such as their lungs and heart, frogs don‘t have any at all. (The human organs say: „the ribs are like armour for us!“)

6&7) The unprotected organs can be squished by nothing more than the air-pressure underneath a quick driving car, which can be avoided by driving slower.

But why should that matter to you? Apart from the fact that toads and frogs are simply awesome, they also play an important role in our ecosystem. They are an important source of food for birds, crabs, fish and even some mammals and without them this food chain might get interrupted. Possibly more interesting for you is, that they eat snails and insects. (Frog says: „I keep the mosquitos away from your body and the snails away from your garden!“)

8) Finally, there are often voluntaries who help the little animals get across the street and they too would like to avoid being caught by a car :)
