I've been writing my dissertation like that gif of the cat frantically slamming a keyboard (you know the one) but it's got me thinking about professor Bucky and how he might incentivise you to get your work done for his class 😏
"You're not getting an extension. Don't even think about e-mailing me for one." The hardest part of dating your lecturer isn't actually the sneaking around; it's that he's a hell of a lot tougher on you than the rest of the class.
"But Bucky I-" You begin but he cuts you off and you know by the look on his face that there's no point pressing it.
"No. You're more than capable and you've got plenty of time to get it done. You don't need an extension, you need to apply yourself."
God, he's annoying. You know you can do it, you never said you couldn't. You just don't want to. There's a massive difference.
He pulls his copy of the required reading out of his bag, setting it on the desk beside your laptop and it takes everything in you not to bury your head in your hands.
"There. I've helped you enough." He nods towards the textbook but when you don't move, he flicks through the pages with a sigh, leaving it open at the chapter you know you should start with.
You sit there for another few seconds in a foul mood, mentally preparing yourself to sit here for the next few hours.
"How about I help you? I get the impression you need an incentive." He knows you too well, there's nothing more motivating than a little treat. "You have 12,000 words to write. For every 1,000 you write this week, I'll give you an orgasm."
Maybe you should complain about his assignments more often.
"Deal." Hell, if you'd known this was coming, you'd have started ages ago.
"Good girl." He laughs, amused at the rate at which your fingers begin to dance over the keyboard.
Getting started isn't too hard. You type out a quick plan of your chapters, dropping in the sources you know you'll need before starting your introduction and with your focus on your work, you hardly notice Bucky sinking to his knees under the desk.
You feel his warm, open mouthed kisses trailing up your thighs under your skirt and his soft groans drag your attention away from the laptop.
"Don't stop working." He insists, licking your sex through your cotton underwear, letting you enjoy the delicious friction on your cunt. "You're almost at the first thousand and it reads well so far." You feel his hot breath against the now wet cotton while one of your hands falls to tug his hair.
"If you stop typing, I stop licking." He threatens, pulling your panties to the side, gliding his tongue against your skin and groaning at the taste of your arousal.
You have just over 200 words until you reach your first thousand and it should be so easy but it becomes even harder when he sinks two fingers into you and you're able to hear how wet you are already.
His lips engulf your clit, sucking gently while flicking his tongue in vertical strokes in time with his fingers curling inside you. "Such a smart girl. I'm so proud of you." He hums before giving you a few broad strokes with a flat tongue.
He knows what his praise does to you and with your thighs clamped around his head, you fly your way through a few hundred more words. He chuckles when you proudly announce you reached a thousand but you don't stop typing at the same frantic pace.
"Sweetheart, if you want to get all 12,000 done this evening, I'll sit here as long as it takes." He smiles against your skin before giving you everything he knows you need. His tongue flicks quickly over your clit and his fingertips rub against the soft, spongy spot inside you and in no time you're gushing against his face, gripping his hair and riding your high out on his waiting tongue.

The tip tapping of fingers on keys echoed around the silent room. The occasional footfalls of people around her walking up and down. Picking up books to further aid their studying would slip past the music playing in her ears when they were loud enough.
Every time she would hear someone being a little too loud for the library they were in she would glance up and shoot a half-hearted glare their way.
They’d never see her but it was the thought that counted. A barely audible sigh escapes her as she brings a hand up to massage her cold fingertips into the throbbing skin at her temple.
Nervous nibbling was occupying her teeth and lips, chewing away the flesh and creating tender spots her tongue would soon soothe.
She’d been staring at the same empty document for two hours now. No more than two sentences she was able to come up with before she’d erase them in a fit of frustration.
Abandoned textbooks lay closed behind her laptop, she’d deemed them no use around thirty minutes in, but she couldn't bring herself to get up and search for better ones.
She was antsy, not able to focus on her assignment due in a week's time. Her brain was all fogged up, too many thoughts going through her mind and yet she's not able to focus on a single one.
The purge was tonight. March 21st. And it was currently 1pm.
Why did she even bother to come to the library in the first place? Was she hoping to distract herself even just a little bit before she had to hunker herself down in her dorm for twelve hours?
Maybe. Yes.
Was it working? Absolutely not.
She was too skittish. Overthinking everything that had the potential of happening later and things that have previously happened.
‘Someone's not going to come and try to kill me just because I forgot to return their pen that one time, right?’
The amusing, albeit a little dark, thought did make the corner of her lips twitch just the smallest amount.
Taking off her headphones after stopping her music, she closes down her laptop and starts to move it into her bag.
She spares a quick glance around the few tables next to hers as she stands with the library's books in her arms. Her eyes locked with a man sitting roughly two tables down. Slumped back in his seat.
Gojo Satoru. Bright white and fluffy hair paired with a set of dazzling blue eyes. The ones currently peeking over the tops of his round shades that had slid down his nose as he tucked his head down slightly.
Sitting in front of him and abstracting her view of Gojo only slightly is who she assumed was Geto Suguru. Two peas in a pod and never seen without the other. The long black and silky strands of hair tied up in a half up bun was a giveaway to who he was as well.
Both of them were originally from Tokyo, Japan. Coming over to America over five years ago. Or at least that's what she’s heard from around the place, not knowing them personally. They were the most popular boys in school when she had joined a little over a year ago and they still held the title strong.
She doesn’t think she's ever really interacted with them. At Least not on any kind of personal level. Sure, maybe from a few friends of friends or passing each other in the hallway and being polite to her upperclassmen, but nothing all that memorable.
Which is why this prolonged eye contact is sending a very noticeable shiver down her spine. The smallest twitch of a smirk on his face and she was breaking eye contact, gulping down the pooled saliva in her mouth as she turned around and hastily made her way in between the towering bookshelves.
Leaving the library after stacking the books she’d previously taken back on the shelves, she hastily makes her way down the long corridors. Keeping her head down, her hands clutched tight on the strap of her bag. She passes very few people in the hallway.
Even after pushing through the doors and trekking her way to the dorms at the end of the path, there were very few people loitering around outside. Some of the people she passed looked like they could be stoned, not that she could really blame them. Some looked a little too relaxed and happy and some were just trying to get to their destination as quickly as possible. Like her.
As the doors came into view, and then the stairs, she slowly began to relax, her fast pace lessening up. Successfully getting to the safest place she could for when the purge would start.
It was also a massive relief that her two good friends would be staying with her during the twelve hours of horror. Last time she was by herself there had been multiple scares throughout the night. Nothing too big but something she didn’t think she could handle alone again.
Reaching her door on the third floor she fiddles with her keys for a few seconds before her door clicks open and she pushes her way inside. Closing the door and locking it again for good measure.
It was 1:43 pm.
A few minutes after she had arrived back at her dorm did she realize she still needed to pick up some food items. Being a broke student meant she had essentially nothing in her cupboards or her fridge. And if she was ‘hosting for the purge’ this year, it meant she had to stock up at least a little bit.
‘Imagine trying to hide from a killer and your stomach growls, I think I would just die on the spot.’ She thinks, the smallest smile gracing her face. Humour is usually her way to cope in situations like these. It’s either that or panicking and she’d rather try to save that for the main event.
With a heavy sigh and hesitation weighing her limbs down, she slowly puts her shoes and jacket back on. She can make this quick. In and out. Easy peasy.
With a quick jump while shaking her limbs out to get rid of her last minute hesitation, she quickly opens her door and steps out before shutting it behind her. No going back now. Locking the door behind her, she starts making her way back down the stairs and out the doors, walking in the direction of the food store.
Her nerves were still playing up though, eyes darting this way and that as if trying to find a reason for her to panic. ‘It’s okay, the purge hasn’t started yet, all those things are still illegal.’ Is what she keeps telling herself while taking a deep breath. But the fact they won’t be in a few hours was still cause for some panic.
Arriving at the store, she wizzes around, collecting any good looking snack and throwing it in her basket before hastily paying and leaving. The heavy plastic carrier bag hanging from her fingers gave her reason to think she went a bit overboard.
Her quickened steps and accelerated breathing were all she could hear for a while. Her walk back to her dorm was supposed to be a quiet one, less and less people were loitering around meaning less and less noises to distract her.
Especially from the new set of footsteps that have appeared behind her.
As soon as her mind clocked the extra set of footsteps there, it went into overdrive. ‘Who is that? Are they following me? No, you're being delusional, they're just trying to get back home. But are they? They just appeared out of nowhere. Are they going to try and kidnap me? Rape me? Stuff me in a van? Drag me down a dark alleyway and murder me?’
Her mind was racing, steps quickening and breathing silenced under the new threat. ‘Oh god, what if they’re stalking me? Waiting until the purge starts to come and slaughter me? They’re going to kill me. They’re going to kill me. What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?’
And then they were gone.
It barely registered in her mind that the fast paced footsteps from behind her had vanished. A sharp breath escaped her before her head whipped around on a desperate whim. No one. Not a soul on the path behind her.
Her shoulders sank with relief and a watery laugh broke free from her trembling lips. ‘I’m losing my mind.’ She thought. Even though that feeling in her gut had faded, it never fully disappeared. Her racing heart never slowed and neither did her footsteps.
Y/n hurried back to her dorm, almost running through the doors and up the stairs to fumble with her keys and quickly burst in. Double checking she locked the door behind her, and then checking every other lock on her third story apartment. Only when she had made sure they were all secure could she finally relax.
Her body shivering and hands shaking from the after effects of adrenaline. Her breathing is still a little shaky as she pulls a bunch of pillows and blankets into her tiny living room. Pushing her chair and sofa away to make more space as she lays everything out as neat as she could, making the floor a comfy space for her and her two friends to crash for the purge.
She empties the snacks from out of the plastic bag and piles them in a nice little corner near the TV. A small stack of movies there for when they’re all waiting for the purge to start. Some cards in a pack were also placed there.
The three of them are wanting to be as quiet as possible while the purge is going on. Everything locked, curtains drawn, lights off, TV with no volume and only subtitles, quiet games to play in case they got bored, etc.
They weren’t taking any chances. It was doubtful anything would happen, since nothing really ever did in the dorms. No student here would go as far as murdering somebody, everyone mostly stayed inside, not wanting to risk anything. She only knew of a few people that have snuck out before to rob a few stores, or do some petty revenge like smashing someone's car without getting into trouble.
But overall, it was best to remain quiet. They didn’t want to get murdered because the TV was turned up too loudly and attracted some wrong attention.
It was 5:15 pm.
This is the time her friends arrived. Knocking some made up code on the slab of wood before messaging just for good measure that it was really them outside.
After unlocking the door and letting her two good friends inside her dorm she swiftly closes and locks it again. Relieved greetings transpire as well as nervous whispers about the purge and some small gossip of who they think would actually go out this year and who are likely to stay inside.
The three of them start to make their way around her dorm, closing all the curtains and double checking the locks on all the windows and doors. Especially the balcony and front door.
After they’ve secured the apartment, they turn off all the necessary lights, flicking on a few electrical lanterns and setting them up around the living room, but away from the windows. They’ve left one lantern in the bathroom and one in her bedroom, both turned off, just in case of emergencies.
The three of them settle in a spread out pile on the blankets she put down in the living room. Some snacks are passed around already and a movie is slotted into the TV, playing as background noise mostly while they talk.
Erica, a sassy but kind of dumb girl, with choppy shoulder length hair that had been bleached and dyed a light green. She's donned in a crop top and sweatpants, comfy.
Don, a friendly giant, very kind in nature but also a little muscly. He has short black hair and a sculpted jawline. He also came in sweatpants and a baggy white T-shirt, also comfy.
Her two very good, and only, friends here. They’re in a few of her classes and all regularly hang out together.
“So,” Erica begins after her mouthful of powdered donut. “Who do you think is going to actually purge tonight? Like, actually actually. My moneys on them two hotties in my class.” She finishes, wiggling her eyebrows..
Don hums around his half empty soda can. “Yeah, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did.”
Y/n pipes up, “Wait who?” sitting up against the sofa behind her, getting comfy like she's about to hear the gossip of a lifetime.
“Oh, Em, G! You haven’t heard of it? You’ve seriously been, like, living under a rock or something.” Erica says jokingly. Picking apart pieces of her donut and eating them.
Don perks up too. “Really? You haven't?” Y/n shakes her head in denial as Don shrugs. “I get it, it’s mostly stayed in our class, hasn’t spread much further than that.” He says before crawling forward and rummaging around for more snacks.
“So get a load of this right!” Erica sits up too after finishing her donut. Waving her hands excitedly as she tells her latest gossip. “You know them two really hot upperclassmen right?” She draws out her ‘really’ and waits patiently at the end of her sentence for the other girl's confirmation.
When she nods in slight confusion, Erica continues, “There were some major rumours in class that the two of them were late this one day because they were beating someone up. And I don't mean like a few slaps or hair pulling, I mean punches. You know?”
Y/n nods again, this time with furrowed brows and Erica continues, “At first, I didn’t believe it, obviously. But then, the two of them came into class and I swear there were blood stains on their clothes. Blood stains! Not to mention all the plasters and bandages all over their hands! I just had to believe it then! Wouldn’t you?”
After the end of her long rant she slumps back against the front of the sofa and mumbles incoherently to herself shaking her head while pouting.
Don, who had been listening silently, pipes up, “It was true, I was actually there for once.”
Y/n’s eyebrows raise in disbelief at what she had just heard. Fighting, here? She couldn’t help but to doubt it, if only just a little. Stuff like that has never happened here. Or at least while she had been here. It was just unheard of.
And for an attack so vicious to result in blood being drawn, then there must have been somewhat of a good reason for it. That was the conclusion she came to.
“I mean, there had to have been a good reason for it.” Y/n says, “They’re pretty nice people aren't they? It is Gojo and Geto were talking about here, right? They’re really popular here too.” Her eyes darted between her two friends, looking for more answers on this unexpected juicy gossip.
Erica sighs wistfully, “No, it got shut down pretty quick, which I guess is why so little people have heard about it. God, would I pay to see them fight though. Their muscles must have looked amazing.”
They stop talking about it after that, Don getting distracted by the snacks and whining about how she didn’t get his favourite. Erica smacking him with a few pillows and complaining how he’s getting in the way of her movie she was barely even watching.
Their playful banter did little to distract from her inner turmoil. A small shiver went down her spine again. The memory from earlier in the library resurfacing in her mind. Gojo staring her down, the creepy walk back from the shops and now learning the two had at the very least helped in injuring someone.
It could just be because it was purge day, but everything was beginning to creep her out and she was overthinking again. ‘What if he wants to attack me next? What if all of those things were connected and someone really was following me home? What if he wants to kill me? What if both of them want to kill me? Have I ever done anything to offend them? I haven’t, have I?’ She knew these were far fetched and ridiculous, but she couldn’t help but think of them anyway.
Her spiralling thoughts were halted when a stray pillow smacked her in the face. “Oops, haha, sorry.” Erica sheepishly apologized, bringing her hand up to smooth down Y/n’s ruffled hair. Don was laughing in the background.
Y/n was stunned for a few seconds before replying, “Oh, don’t worry. How about we put something else on? This movie is kind of boring.” crawling across the piles of pillows and blankets to reach the stack of movies.
This caught the other two’s attention, eagerly rushing to the stack as well to try and get first pick. Arguing for a few more minutes before settling on a movie they all loved. Snuggling back into their original positions.
This was how the next few hours went before the announcement appeared.
It was 6:59 pm.
At exactly 7 on the dot, the TV went black before turning blue, the government announcing the commencement of the purge. Big bold letters and ‘Emergency Broadcast System’ and ‘This is not a test’ were displayed on the screen.
They were all quiet as it played out. The mood quickly turned sombre.
“Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted.”
Don gulped.
“Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed.”
Erica huffed.
“Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours.”
Y/n shivered.
“Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7 am when The Purge concludes.”
She released a shaky breath. The announcement ends with “...A nation reborn.” before stopping. The screen turned black again.
No one moves or says anything. Each of them were frozen in an array of emotions. Fear being the most prominent.
The silence stretched on for minutes. Eerie in its wake, not even being able to hear other people in their dorm rooms like she normally would.
Eventually, after releasing another shaky breath and rearranging herself with trembling limbs, they all snap back into the present.
Don coughs and Erica shuffles awkwardly.
“Cards, anyone?” Y/n meekly speaks up. The other two nod as they sit in a small circle.
It was 7:36 pm.
This was when the first explosion of some kind was heard by them. Each of them froze in the middle of playing their mostly silent game of cards. The noise was distant, but the impact remained.
A scream from a few doors down echoed in the silent space.
They waited with baited breath for any follow up, but when nothing happened, they slowly relaxed. Each of them assumed it was the explosion that must have scared someone. Sometimes it’s better to think of the positive, rather than what that scream could have been for.
A few minutes later a siren bellows in the distance, a few car alarms wail.
Nothing too bad, but knowing that it could mean someone was being murdered out there didn’t give them any ease.
It was 8:02 pm.
This is when the banging starts. Y/n thinks it could be a few doors down again. Erica thinks it’s below them and Don thinks it’s above them.
Wherever it was, it was concerning.
Erica releases a small nervous chuckle. “Maybe someone is just having a good time?” A fake smile plastered on her face to try and mask her worry. Even she didn’t believe her little theory. Not during a time like this, during The Purge.
It was a few minutes later, after they had quietly resumed their game, that footsteps were heard.
Clacking down the hallway.
1, 2.
1, 2.
1, 2.
1, 2.
They were walking at a leisurely pace. Taking their time. Strolling down the hallway and getting closer and closer.
All three of them looked towards the door, as if someone were to burst in at any moment.
The footsteps slow before coming to a stop. Right outside her door.
The three of them hold their breath, bodies flinching when a light knock rings out into the open space.
Complete silence.
Another knock.
None of them had even noticed the earlier noises had stopped, too focused on the potential threat now right outside the door. Seemingly wanting someone to open up.
Three pairs of eyes dart between each other. Silent questions trying to push their way out without being heard. A few panicked half shrugs and furrowed brows with downturned lips later, another knock rings out.
This time it was a little louder.
Barely audible whisperings of ‘you go’, ‘no you’, ‘fuck no’, ‘who even is it?’ cut through the silence. No one wanted to ask the question. To even speak a hint of it lest it result in it coming true.
Eventually after a solid minute of panicked, almost silent, squabbling later. A frustrated and frightened Erica pushed herself up. Taking a very obvious deep breath. Eyes closed and silently mumbling to herself before taking a few steps over to the front door.
She tried to be as quiet as she could but each step sounded like it weighed a ton. Every creek and every wobble made to sound the loudest.
Very quietly bracing her hands upon the door, she leant up on her tiptoes. Peeking into the peephole positioned in the centre of the door.
The two left in the pile of blankets still. Not wanting to even breathe in fear of disturbing whatever was happening in front of them.
A sudden screech of pure panic and fear tore from Erica’s throat. Flailing before landing with a harsh thud on the floor beneath her. Scrambling backwards on her hands and feet, keeping her eyes on the door the entire time.
The two startle and immediately jump up, laboured breathing hindering their lungs from the sudden scare.
“What the fuck? Erica what happened? What was that?” Don frantically whispered. His eyes were also locked on the door.
Y/n also whispered to her, “Who was that? Erica?” her eyes locked onto her friend, not able to bring herself to look at the door yet.
“It was.. Oh god.. The peep..” Erica wheezed out. The fright took too much out of her with her frantic gasps for air.
A sudden bang echoed into the room. A few more followed before they all realized it was coming from the front door.
Erica screeched and threw herself back into a standing position, rushing for the kitchen and grabbing any sharp knife her eyes first laid on.
Don stood frozen in fear. Not able to move or barely breathe from the looks of it.
Y/n wasn’t any better herself. Downright terrified. This was her dorm. Her dorm. Which means whoever was outside, was looking for her.
The banging persisted, the person on the other side seemingly determined to get in. This proved correct when the handle started turning whichever way it could.
She didn’t even realize, terror clouding her senses because when she looked back to her two friends, Don had collapsed into himself, wheezing with little air entering his lungs amidst his panic. Erica was cornered in the kitchen, sobbing, tears flooding her cheeks and ruining her mascara she had in place.
The persistent banging stopped for a second. The faint sound of another pair of footsteps approached from the hallway outside. Muffled talking pursued but it was hard to make anything out, between her pounding heart, Erica’s sobs and the slab of wood in the way, didn’t make for easy hearing.
For Y/n, it seemed there was one second of complete silence. No sobbing, no voices, no distant alarms or explosions, no racing heart, no wheezing lungs. Before chaos sprung onto them.
Suddenly the people outside, because there was another person now, resumed banging on the door. But it didn’t seem like they were ‘just knocking’ anymore. No.
They were trying to break the door down.
She could see it from the way the door groaned and creaked under the relentless kicking. She couldn't quite tell if they were using their feet, or an object, or whatever.
All that mattered was that they were trying to get in. And they were going to succeed.
“Move! Hide! We need to hide!” She whisper-yelled. Rushing to Don and tugging on his arm to try and get him to move. He stared at her for a few seconds before his brain caught up, registering what was happening around him. The real danger he was in right now.
“Hide.. Oh god..” He panted, sprinting for the bathroom, the first place his eyes had landed on.
With Don now searching for a place to hide, she ran her way to Erica. Still trying to be as quiet as she could, in the little hopes that they would think she wasn’t here.
“Erica, we need to hide! They’re getting in!” She frantically whispered to her hyperventilating friend. Trying to shake her shoulders, even resorting to lightly slapping her face to try and get her attention. She was desperate.
“Please!” The sound of splintering caught both of their attention. Heads whipping towards the door starting to cave. She wasn’t all that surprised, that slab of wood was a shitty excuse for a door anyway.
Erica suddenly sprung up and dove for the piles of blankets in the living room. Trying to bury herself amongst them, taking the knife with her.
And now that all her friends had been taken care of, she ran for her bedroom. Trying her best not to stumble and fall in the dark hallway.
As soon as her door came into sight, she gently opened it, gunning for her wardrobe tucked into the corner of the room. Not even looking towards the turned off lantern, she didn’t need them knowing her hiding spot from something so obvious.
It was already messy anyway, so in her frazzled brain she didn’t bother caring where she tossed piles of clothes and shoes in her room.. They’d hopefully think it was like that in the first place.
After quickly clearing a space big enough for her to curl into, she did just that. Situating herself just right, back pressed against the side of the wardrobe, knees tucked to her chest and pressed against the boxes in front of her. She was sitting on old shirts she hadn’t seen for months.
Hearing the door breaking even further, she grabbed any clothes within her reach and threw them over herself. Shutting the door when she was mostly covered, she could have sworn she could hear laughter coming from the hallway.
A loud crash and splintering tore through the air. She knew it was her front door. And now they were inside.
Her hands slowly went up to cup around her mouth, trying to muffle her breathing as much as she could. Her body froze. Even when she already began to feel muscle cramps settling in, she dared not move. She forced herself to breathe slowly. Every inhale a struggle along with a reminder that she was still alive at this very moment. Even if she was convinced she wouldn’t be for much longer.
The thought brought tears to her eyes. The original shock wears from her body and settles into something akin to despair.
Her throat started clamping up, muscles seizing and throbbing with the need to cry.
It was the thudding of footsteps that shook her out of it. Snapping her half way back into a nightmarish reality.
She gulped. Closing her eyes and straining her ears for any information they were willing to receive.
Just as she thought. Two pairs of footsteps.
With every thud of a shoe or a spike in their muffled talking, her body would tremble.
It remained like this for a few more minutes. The footsteps or talking occasionally pausing.
It was during one of these silences, where a different sound was heard. She couldn’t identify the exact sounds, just ones of commotion. They were still all muffled. And then she heard muffled yelling.
It sounded so dulled, between the walls and layers of wood and clothes, she could barely make out anything, her ears straining for any hint as to what was happening. Being left in the dark like this, literally and figuratively, was terrifying her.
And then this horrible, awful noise carried its way between the cracks in the wardrobe. Crunching. Cracking. Stomps.
That muffled yelling from before kept getting cut off. Eventually dwindling down into a barely audible groan. Those thuds never seemed to stop either. Never ending, crunching, cracking, and now wet thuds.
Her brain was trying its hardest to process, to catch up with the information that it has been provided with.
More footsteps, only one pair, accompanied with muffled laughter. And a more distinct sound traveling through the air.
A scream.
Even more laughter, hurried footsteps and pleas of ‘no’, ‘please’, ‘don’ts’.
It was now, with the wet stomps still in the background, her screeching friend, that eager laugh, that her brain had finally caught up.
She was going to be sick.
They’re hurting them. Killing them.
Her friends.
Her body moved out of its own violation. Shaky hands and feet kicking and pushing their way out of the pile of clothes. Wardrobe door swinging open with a creak.
She collapsed out of it. Slumped on the floor, dry heaving. Her lungs not seeming to take enough air in but yet holding in too much. She couldn’t function. Fear overwhelmed every part of her. As well as grief.
Her ears were ringing and she was left gasping, drool dripping onto the hard floor beneath her as a result of her attempted vomiting. Eyes wide open, blurry when she tapped back into her mind.
Tears, clouding her vision and dripping audibly on the floorboards below her.
In the distance she could hear muffled talking. Two men, she could make out more clearly. Not only that, but squelching, wet, gooey noises seemed to mingle in the air. Gurgling was the next before silence.
A minute passed, maybe two before the footsteps started up again. Those goddamn footsteps.
1.. 2.
1.. 2.
1.. 2.
But they were slower than before. Steady. Taking their time.
And getting closer.
Her instincts kick in, blinking profusely to try and clear her eyes from the tears, looking up and darting around before landing on the space under her bed.
She wouldn’t have enough time to fix her spot back in the wardrobe. She couldn’t run past them, not even in her best state which she certainly wasn’t in right now. She had considered her bedroom window as an option, but it was locked, which would take time to open. Not even mentioning the fact she was on the third floor, so jumping out would break at least something important. They would be quick to notice as well, and if they came for her, it was likely they would decide to chase her down.
Under her bed seemed to be her best option at the moment, and she was running out of time. Scrambling as quietly as she could, she slid herself directly under her bed, trying to center herself in the middle of it, tucking herself into a tight ball.
The footsteps stopped right outside her bedroom door, she had enough sense to shut it on her way in, thank god. But that clearly wouldn’t be enough to stop them.
Almost as if the person was teasing her, they slowly clicked the door open. The distinct creak she had grown accustomed to over the months making itself known.
Her muscles are tense, tightening in the presence of her predators.
In the dark space from under her bed and in her room, it was obvious when the light from inside the hallway started spilling in the more the door got pushed open. In the vague depths of her mind it registered that they must’ve either turned the hall lights on, had taken one of her lanterns,  or were carrying one of their own.
Her lungs were burning with the effort to keep her body running with the little air she was allowing them to have, all for the sake of trying to keep quiet.
It was all too silent once again, only for a second or two before the second pair of footsteps came towards her. A lot more hasty compared to the other ones.
Her breath silently hitched, the new person pushed their way into the room, stepping past their company before a thunk was heard. The sound forced her body to startle, jolting her muscles and kick starting her trembling again. An uncontrollable reaction to the fear she was under, the unrelenting motions causing a deep ache in her ribs.
The sound of rustling was now heard. It seemed they were looking for something. ‘They’re going to kill me. They’re digging around for a weapon to stab me with, to bash my head in, to murder me like they did my friends. I’m dead. I’m dead, I’mdeadI’mdeadI’mdead-’
Her racing thoughts consuming her fear riddled mind failed in picking up the sound of the other pair of footsteps slowly creeping round to the end of her bed.
The person paused, silently crouching down low before a pair of hands reached under.
The sudden tight grip on her ankles followed up by the sudden pull had her screeching. Pure terror flooding her veins. She had been yanked out from under her bed, lying sprawled on the floor and gazing up at the towering man stationed above her.
Her lungs burned, seizing up before a sickening scream escaped her. Fuelled by genuine, unrestrained horror.
They had found her.
One of her lanterns they had brought in illuminated his face in a haunting light. The darkened shadows stretching and contorting behind him to create the most grim image for her mind to paint. Not that it was far off.
A foot standing on either side of her hips, straddling her if it wasn’t for his standing position. Hands nestled comfortably back in his trouser pockets now they had done the job of retrieving her. A comfortable looking long-sleeved shirt adorned his figure. Dark splatters starting from the bottom of his shoes and creeping their way up his legs, tapering off into a few spots that painted one of his cheeks.
An easy smile softly ingrained on his face, followed by gentle looking eyes peering down at her if it wasn’t for the malicious spiral she found herself paralyzed in. Dark locks of hair extended down his back, past where she could see from her position, with the top layers sectioned off and tied back into a bun.
His mouth opened and he spoke. “Well, well. Look what I’ve caught for us Satoru.”
Satoru. The other man must be Satoru Gojo, and this was Suguru. Suguru Geto. The most popular guys she knew, the supposedly kindest. And then staring in the library, the walk back from the shops, the gossip her most likely dead friend had told her.
Her body suddenly felt like it was pumped full of adrenaline. Pushing herself up as fast as she could, using the bed as support all the while stumbling over her numb riddled legs. She took off, running towards the open door she so desperately wanted to pass through.
A sudden arm snatched her from around her waist and she screeched. Pure instinct driving her at this point as she scratched and kicked and flailed in his, Satoru Gojo’s, hold.
The sound of something dropping before his other arm came round, collecting both her wrists in one hand of his. His grip tightened the more she fought. Her body pressed tight against his, her back to his front. His head situated itself on her shoulder, tucking over and pressing his cheek to hers even while she cried and panted and kicked.
She could feel his grin pressing against the side of her face. “Such a pretty little thing we have here. Can’t let her get away so easily now, can we? Not after all the trouble we’ve gone through.” The last part practically whispered into her ear as she turned her face as far away as possible from him.
A little laugh boasted out from Geto. “Of course not.” He strolled over to them, bending down to pick up what Gojo had dropped in order to restrain her.
Rope.
Fucking rope.
The moment her eyes zoned in and processed what Geto was unravelling in his hands she tried to fight back even harder. Eyes flooding with tears that spilled down her cheeks. Short mumblings of ‘no’ being repeated over and over while becoming louder until she was yelling.
“Please don’t do this! Let me go! Please, please.. Stop!” She shrieked while sobbing, convinced they were going to kill her or torture her or something horrible like that.
Gojo walked the two of them to the edge of her bed before forcefully pushing her down, manhandling her onto her front and bending her arms to rest pressing against her back.
She sobbed into her ruffled sheets as she felt Geto fastening the rope tight around her wrists, the rough material digging into and pinching the sensitive skin. Raw and red marks already forming amidst her struggle.
Her legs still hung off the bed, trying their best to kick and hopefully injure one or both of them, but she knew it was a losing battle. None of her landing blows made them falter in any way.
When her wrists were successfully restrained Geto kept them pressed to the small of her back while Gojo let go and reached down to grab her ankles. Pulling them up and bending her legs at the knees while they both worked in finishing the task of tying her up.
When they finally stepped back to admire the work they’d successfully done, Y/n deflated. Tears soaking into her bed in which she rested on top of. Her lungs still burned, having never stopped. The hogtied position she had been forced into leaving her nothing to work with in terms of escaping. Not that she could think clearly anyway. The distress she was under proved too much.
“Oh, Shh Sh Sh… There, there, sweet thing. Settle down for us now. We aren’t going to kill you.” Cooed, who she could only guess right now was Gojo.
Geto reached forward from his position of kneeling on the bed, gentle soothing pets stroking her hair. Her sobbing tapering off into hiccupped breathing even while flinching with every touch. “There you go, good girl. See that wasn’t so hard now, was it?”
He pulled away from her, stepping down off the bed and heading towards the previously discarded bag on the floor Y/n hadn’t noticed before..
Y/n slowly turned her head round, no longer pressed into her sheets. Her eyes were red and bloodshot, swollen from all the crying she’d been doing. Little hiccups and groans left her while her lungs tried to recover. She’d given up struggling right now, it had done nothing but cause her pain as the rope dug and squeezed the skin of her wrists and ankles.
Gojo piped up from behind her, only now feeling the heat from his legs pressing into hers causing her to flinch. “You know, this would’ve gone a whole lot easier if you had just let us in sweetheart.” She could practically hear the smug smile in his voice. “Look at where you are now, tied up all pretty for us. Ripe for the taking.” He pressed closer to her at that, voice practically dripping with need.
She whined in fear and started squirming at his words. Panic flooding her senses again for just a second before a sharp tug to her hair had her yelping, halting her movements.
“I thought I told you to quit that.” Geto was back to kneeling on the bed in front of her, his hand gripping tight onto her hair, eyes narrowed.
Her bottom lip trembled, breaths picking up with every second he glared down at her.
“Don’t be so mean, Sugu.” Gojo said, a teasing lilt in his voice.
Geto glanced back at him before humming and letting go of his harsh grip, her scalp burning in turn. “I suppose you’re right. She’ll have plenty of time to learn when we take her back home.”
Gojo hummed and she felt him leaning away from her, hearing him crouch down and fiddle with something from the bag as well.
“Back home?..” She stuttered, voice hoarse and throat dry.
Geto looked back down at her, amusement painting his face. “Yes. Home.”
“Where..” She started, face formed in a twist of concern and confusion. “Please.. I.. Just let me go. I won’t- I won’t tell anyone, I’ll- I’ll leave you alone, I’ll do anything, please..” She gasped out, tears gathered freshly in her eyes again, voice cracking every few seconds.
An amused eyebrow raised with the hint of a smirk at the corner of his mouth was all she got as a response.
Gojo had come back, reaching round and fastening a strip of duct tape around her mouth in a sudden flurry of movement. Giving her no time to process what he had done until after he had done it.
She cried out, the sound muffled thanks to the tape, worried eyes darting around in panic as she tried squirming again for the third time.
Gojo pressed up behind her once again. “You’re not going anywhere, sweet pea! You’re ours now. We’ve had you picked out for a long time now.” The joy in his voice didn’t fail to put her on edge, his words doing their part in helping the tears gathered in her waterline to finally spill down her cheeks. Wetting the tape situated over her lips.
“He’s right.” Geto replied. Bringing one of his hands up to show what he had collected from the bag a few moments ago. The mobile phone in his hands glowed brightly in the dark room, the lamp from before having been moved, the light now dim.
“We’ll bring you back with us soon enough, but we still have a few more hours to kill before that. And why waste them.” Gojo said, the grin in his voice unsettling her, keeping her frozen in fear.
An easy smile pulled at Geto’s cheeks at that, head tilting to the side to gaze down at their pretty prey.
“Well what are you waiting for then, Satoru?”
A pause. Smile pulling into a predatory grin.
“Have at it.”

Cloud's memories
Tumblr media
*spoilers for FF7 Rebirth and other FF7 stuff*
So something I see is this debate regarding Cloud's memories of being Zack. Are those actually Zack's memories that he absorbed or did Cloud make them up?
There's several points to be made in either argument.
Let's go through them.
(Also if I miss something then comment it!)
Okay...
So let's start with the accuracy of these memories. Well outside of the elephant Cloud in the room. What I mean is are the events and conversations taking place one for one comparisons? Especially for the stuff Infantryman Cloud wasn't there for.
Comparing FF7 OG with Crisis Core, most of the scenes are same or similar. Even the memories real Cloud wasn't present for are accurate-
With only one glaring difference. Genesis.
Even back when we first get to Nibelheim, Zack gets an extra line when Sephiroth walks off with Zack saying "Sephiroth's mother's name is Jenova? Hmm...?" to himself. He has this line because Zack already has heard this name earlier in the game due to this Genesis plot when in the OG, 'Cloud' had never heard of Jenova.
And then later on, Genesis shows up in the Reactor and straight up just tells Sephiroth about the stuff in the Shinra Manor.
This is something that isn't in 'Cloud's' version.
While the irl reason why 'Cloud' doesn't is because Genesis didn't exist. He was created for Crisis Core.
But we want an in-universe reason!
What's interesting is that in Rebirth, the valve thing requires you to leave the room and when you come back in Sephiroth is all angry and it feels like that a scene was kinda missing, which vaguely implies that the Genesis happened.
So overall these memories are fairly accurate with one or two glaring exceptions.
That's the evidence from the Nibelheim incident.
So let's go into some of the big arguments for either side.
-Did Zack tell Cloud about these events?
Most people who don't think that Cloud has Zack's memories say that Zack probably told Cloud and skipped over the Genesis stuff. I can't deny that with them being on the road for a year that Zack probably rambled to the mako comatosed Cloud. Zack talks a lot in general. Zack could of also have talked to Cloud during the week Sephiroth spent in the library.
But would Zack actually do that?
Yeah he talks a lot, but in Crisis Core, despite being a pretty open person, by Nibelheim Zack is little more careful.
Remember he tries to stop Genesis from telling Sephiroth about Jenova. He's supposed to be friendly to Sephiroth and is like a friend, but kept his own suspicion, deductions, and information from Sephiroth. And he was right to because well... Sephiroth did go insane.
Also when he sees Cissnei after Nibelheim he's guarded and doesn't explain what happened to him beyond the bare minimum.
Angeal's death, the Nibelheim incident, being experimented with Cloud by Hojo, and other traumatic events seem to eat Zack tends to deal with internally. Outside of crying at Aerith's Church, he doesn't seem to cope very well with what's happened.
Like when Zack has his talk with Cloud at Nibelheim. That's the probably the closest we see Zack actually talking about his issues.
"I'm sensing some issues here…shouldn't you do something? I'm one to talk… I'm with SOLDIER, so… …fighting's all I do. Sorting things out is someone else's job. What's going on? Who's the enemy? It makes no difference to me!"
And Cloud snaps Zack out of his moment of anger with accidentally reminding him of Angeal.
Zack does 'dreams and honour trademark' before saying thanks to Cloud and going to sleep, leaving Cloud very confused. He doesn't really understand what Zack means about SOLDIER being a den of monsters either. Zack doesn't really explain it.
And as for Zack telling him on their year on the run to Midgar...
I also doubt. Zack talks about Aerith and becoming a mercenary and all that, but the way he talks about it isn't very... deep? Like this isn't Zack pouring his heart out to Cloud. He's just treating this as normally as possible and trying to be upbeat.
Also I kinda doubt how much Cloud was actually aware during being all mako overdosed. Like he was gaining awareness and able to move only after a year. Maybe if Zack talked about the Nibelheim incident, mako comatosed Cloud on a subconscious level could be listening to Zack and develop the narrative in his head of what happened to Zack, but I'm not sure about it.
Moving on!
-Cloud and Tifa.
When Cloud got to Midgar he was... empty for lack of a better word. He acted a lot like a Sephiroth Clone with the groaning and such (look at Ever Crisis or OG FF7 scene if you don't know what I'm going on about).
But when Tifa ran into him, he was able to remember being Cloud and his mind frantically created his persona.
In FF7 OG Sephiroth at the Northern Crater mixed lies and truth together to break Cloud. One thing that stood out to me was that he claimed that he only thought he was Cloud because of his Jenova Cells being shaped by Tifa's memories of Cloud.
And I think that's true to a degree. If Tifa never found Cloud by the train station, I don't think he would of been able to snap out of it and remember being Cloud.
And in Rebrith Sephiroth keeps going on about Jenova's abilities and how she can become anyone. Add that with what Ilfana says in the OG about how Jenova could take the form of the Cetra's deceased and loved ones-
And I think that Cloud, or at least his persona was influenced by Tifa. She remembered Cloud as a loner that was happy by himself and started fights that wanted to be a SOLDIER and promised to protect her, and so that became a big part of his SOLDIER persona.
So why couldn't Cloud absorb or be influenced by Zack. Maybe the reason he doesn't remember Genesis if he has Zack's memories is because it doesn't fit the narrative Cloud has created therefore, it's just cut out.
...
Also I didn't know where to fit this in, but when we get to Gongaga in Rebirth, Cloud gets dejavu. It reminds me of Sephiroth getting dejavu in Nibelheim.
...
Okay I will admit I am bias in this argument (I believe that Cloud absorbed Zack's memories. I find Cloud copying Zack's mannerisms, words and other things to be too close to be a coincidence).
So if you have a great argument on the other point of the argument then please tell me. I am genuinely curious to hear other's perspectives on this.

Hello request for female/reader
I would like to see the scenario where he react positively to the pregnancy and sees it as another opportunity since his last child passed away . he’s happy he gets to have those moments now like seeing her be pregnant and give birth ,his son first footsteps his first words. Seeing him grow.🥺 I just want Morpheus to have happiness his has so much tragedy in his long life. Basically the complete opposite him crying and reacting happily to the news from the beginning fluff and wholesomeness
Tumblr media
You had tried to get some alone time with your husband for days now to inform him of the joyful news of your pregnancy, but found him too busy with the mortal world's problems to be able to spare you a moment.
However, you understood the importance of his role as a ruler and decided to postpone the announcement for later.
Problem was, later arrived quicker than anticipated as your baby bum started growing perceptibly in the weeks to follow and some of Morpheus' subjects noticed, including Lucienne.
She seemed inclined to ask you directly for confirmation, but found that the question would be far too personal and that if you had wanted to share it with her, you would have done so already.
But, she was indeed very surprised when a few days later, Morpheus came to her with a troubled mind.
Morpheus : "Lucienne. I am here to ask you about Y/N. I haven't seen her in quite some time and I am starting to worry she might have fallen sick ? Or, that she's even been avoiding me on purpose ? Has she said anything to you ?"
She remained silent for a while, wondering if she should share her suspicions with her lord or not.
Morpheus seemed to be genuinely worried as to your sudden disregard and even though he hadn't voiced it, he seemed down.
However, he noticed her thoughtful expression and hesitancy and took a step forward; silently urging the librarian to share her thoughts, which she eventually did.
Lucienne *sighs and after having placed back a book on its rightful shelf, turns towards Morpheus* : "It is not my place to say, my lord..But, I think it is important you know how dear Y/N is to us all and that it is primordial you show her as much love and support as you possibly can for what will happen next."
Morpheus frowned in incomprehension at his librarian's enigmatic words until she sighed and finally explained.
"It has not yet been proven, but the kingdom suspects she might be hiding more than just a sickness."
He still didn't understand and Lucienne had to refrain an exasperated eye roll.
"She might be pregnant my lord.", she clarified and Morpheus seemed utterly stunned at the news. Pregnant ? Could it be..? He stilled for a few seconds to let the information slowly settle in.
A baby ? He was going to be a father ?
Lucienne mistook his silence for anger or her lord being upset by the news, so she quickly added for your sake.
"It has yet to be confirmed, sir. I could be wrong and Y/N.."
But before she could go on, Morpheus was already out of the library and marching rapidly towards your bedroom.
He flung the doors open and found you there with wide frightened eyes. He didn't miss the way you instinctively shielded your stomach with your forearms.
"So...It is true.", he stated plainly, more to himself than to you, but you still nodded.
"I'm sorry..I know I should have told you. You were just so busy and I didn't want to disturb you and.."
He kissed you and stopped your rambling at the same time.
You knew it was probably a stratagem to keep you quiet, but you didn't mind as Morpheus seemed so happy all of a sudden.
He laughed and held you close, looking down to stare at the growing baby bum and smiled, his hand travelling from the side of your hips to your belly, stroking the skin there gently with his thumb.
"My love. You just made me the happiest creature in all the universes.", he declared confidently and you were shocked by how happy Morpheus looked. His whole being was glowing and even though you had expected every possible outcome of this conversation, it had never occurred to you that Morpheus actually wanted a baby.
But, by the way he was lovingly tracing your stomach and drawing slow and careful patterns there...It was obvious he had been waiting for—or at least expected it.
"Aren't you a little bit upset ? I mean..I know about your loss and I wouldn't want you to feel as if you had to..", you started and Morpheus frowned at your words, as if astounded by the notion alone.
"Had to ? My dearest love, you have just given me a second chance. I would be a fool to walk away. And, if you were ever under the impression I would ? Then, I should be the one apologizing to you. Begging you for forgiveness."
Seeing Morpheus so determined and apologetic brought tears of joy in your eyes.
"My love..I would love nothing more than to raise that child alongside you."
Relief washed over you and you let out a soft chuckle as all of your worries vanished into nothingness.
Morpheus wanted the child and—just because of that—you couldn't help but be excited for that child to grow up and see the world and all the love he would be surrounded with..
Then, another thought crossed your mind.
You would probably have to go see Lucienne and inform her of her new position as the child's godmother/entitled babysitter ?
After Orpheus' (1st child) birth :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even though it was hard for Morpheus at the beginning to get over his first son's death, seeing Orpheus (your son) made him reconsider his decision to never let happiness find its way into his life again.
The moment his eyes landed on him, he knew he would love him until the day he was to depart this world to the next.
Morpheus *when he saw Orpheus for the first time* : "...He is beautiful. I...Y/N. Can you believe that we created this creature of light ?"
He turned towards you with such a bright smile on his face, it left you speechless.
You had never seen Morpheus so happy..
It warmed your heart and, you knew he would be a great father to your son, which he turned out to be.
He taught Orpheus how to control his powers and to love life, respect every creature on earth to the smallest and to consider the most insignificant in the scale of the world.
Morpheus *extends a flower to Orpheus who observes it with confusion*
Orpheus : "...Why give me this, father ? There are millions of the sort."
Morpheus *smiles knowingly at his son* : "That's where you are wrong, Orpheus. A flower is just as important as any living being in the universe. Just like every human is unique and must be cherished, it must be too. Flowers are the very first creatures who ever lived, the first ones to dream even..And if you are to eventually help me, you must understand their importance."
It brought a smile to your face: witnessing one of their father-son moments, and even more when you saw Orpheus take a liking to gardening in the months to follow..
Morpheus became a role model to Orpheus and in return, Orpheus helped Morpheus get rid of all his self-doubt and past regrets.
Orpheus *watches in awe when he sees Morpheus creating Dreams and Nightmares* : "Could you teach me how to create Dreams of my own ?"
Morpheus *stops to ponder on his request before turning towards Orpheus with a small smile* : "Perhaps. Some day. When you are ready."
It motivated Orpheus to work harder, so he may one day be worthy of his father's powers and charge.
Seeing Orpheus grow up into a perfectly fine young man...
It led to the next decision of your husband that would change your life forever. Again.
Tumblr media
"I want another one.", he once informed you calmly as you were sitting down next to each other in comfortable silence.
You didn't understand at first, not until you followed the direction he was looking at and found Orpheus, running mindlessly after butterflies among Fiddler's Green's tall grass. Your eyes widened significantly at the realization of what he meant.
"Excuse me, Mr Greedy ?! I'm no baby maker. Are you going to carry it ?", you asked with a playful smile, not expecting Morpheus to consider or even agree to the idea.
But, you had learned to expect the unexpected when it came to Morpheus.
"If you wish me to ?"
His answer almost made you fall off your chair in astonishment.
"Wait..Are you serious ?! Is it even possible ?!"
Morpheus sent you an enigmatic smile before nodding affirmatively.
"Gender does not apply to Endless. We can be whoever we want and take many shapes and forms.."
Welp. At least now, you knew.
You thought about it for a moment before finally replying—outraged at the notion that many of your pains could have been avoided.
"I...Wait a minute...You mean to tell me I have been suffering through the pain cramps, the vomiting, the food urges and everything...When you could have simply carried Orpheus and remain your gorgeous self ?!"
Morpheus seemed to understand that your reasoning didn't really go in his favor and decided to leave without answering you, walking away with a flawless dramatic billowing of his long coat..
You *running after him* : "OH NO, YOU DON'T ! COME BACK HERE THIS INSTANT MORPHEUS DREAM OF THE ENDLESS, OR I SWEAR YOU WON'T HAVE A WIFE TO RETURN TO !"
After Selena's (2nd child) birth :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that was how Selena was born. Your second child, and Morpheus' little princess and your pearl of joy.
Delicate. Curious. Sensitive.
She was fit to become a queen in his realm. And, she did. The realm loved Orpheus, but they worshipped Selena who was the incarnation of kindness.
Surprisingly enough, she didn't inherit Morpheus' powers, even though he did carry her for the whole duration of the pregnancy.
But, she really didn't need them as the entire kingdom was there to protect her and wouldn't let anything happen to her.
They are all wrapped around her little finger and even Morpheus can't help but bend to her every whim. Motherly and fatherly instincts kicking in..
You *sigh loudly when you find out Selena has now a goat friend and turn towards Morpheus with a raised eyebrow* : "...You brought her a goat as a pet for her birthday ? Really ?"
Morpheus *looks away and corrects you* : "It's a ram."
You *sarcastically* : "Oh. Excuse me, Morpheus. Let me rephrase that. Did you bring a RAM for our daughter's birthday ? An animal with two big horns, twice her size, and that could easily trample her ? Is that better ?"
Morpheus *returns your gaze with a small amused smile* : "I made it. It would never hurt her. Besides, she asked for one. And who am I to deny her ?"
You : "...Her parent ?"
Needless to say, you didn't get an answer..
Selena *smiles excitedly and brings you her new friend* : "LOOK MOM, HE'S GOT FATHER'S EYES !"
And needless to say, you burst out laughing as the goat and your husband started a staring contest, both wondering what she meant by that.

I come bearing a request! I need some wish fulfilment in my life, so Robin & Steve still meeting and becoming platonic soulmates even without all the Upside Down? Feel free to combine this with others or go wild with it in any direction you want. I love your writing, and I’m really looking forward to seeing all of these when they come out, I’m sure people have had so many good ideas!
THANK YOU!!!! I loved this idea. I love their friendship so much, it reminds me sooooo much of me and my person. Even though you said I could mix it in with another one, this felt like something I wanted to make the main focus. They're platonic soulmates, so they find each other no matter the circumstances or universe. I hope you like what I came up with! - Mickala ❤️
-----------------------------------------------------
Steve was so lost. He followed the map, or tried to at least, but still ended up by the music building instead of the library.
He was certain there was a joke there about jocks not being able to find the library, but his head hurt, and he was hungry, and he was exhausted.
His first few days of classes had been overwhelming to say the least. He’d only registered for three classes, already knowing his work schedule would keep him too busy to handle more.
It would mean graduating later, but it would also mean more freedom from his parents.
That was more important.
But he carved out an entire afternoon to go to the library this week and so far, he’d wasted an hour walking to the wrong library, back to his car to get the campus map, and then, apparently, the wrong direction.
He was about two seconds away from crying.
He inhaled. He exhaled.
He leaned back against the wall of the music building and slid down until he was sitting on the ground.
It was his day off so nothing was stopping him from just sitting here until he found the energy to walk back to his car.
Except for the person currently tripping over his legs.
“Shit! Who sits on the ground outside? Who does that?”
The girl looked at him, eyes squinting as she took in his visibly pitiful appearance.
“Dingus! Why are you on the ground?”
She sounded annoyed, but also a little amused?
“Sorry. I’m just lost and tired.”
She searched his face, probably trying to figure out how someone like him could be this lost.
“Where are you trying to be?”
“Library.”
“That’s on the other side of campus.”
“I know that now, thanks.”
He really wasn’t in the mood to deal with people, especially not someone who already seemed to not like him because he was in the way.
But she wouldn’t go away, despite the fact that she was clearly in a rush before.
“Weren’t going inside?” He couldn’t help asking, hoping she’d forget about him and leave him to mope for a bit longer.
“I was. But you’re kind of depressing and I think it can wait.”
That’s awesome to hear. He kind of felt like the tears he’d been holding back on for ten minutes now were going to fall and he’d make a bigger fool out of himself and this girl would probably call campus security thinking he’s nuts.
“Dude. You’re kind of losing it. It’s only the first week.”
Yeah, well.
“I’ll be fine. Just go to class. You’re obviously running late.”
“First of all, it’s practice, not class. I’m in the marching band. Scholarship duties or whatever. Second of all, I’m not leaving you here. You look like you’re gonna throw up and die.”
Steve rolled his eyes. This girl was incredibly dramatic.
It was definitely entertaining at least.
“I’m not gonna die.”
“But you might throw up?” The girl looked disgusted. “Do it behind the building at least.”
He was a little nauseous, but that was probably just the anxiety and exhaustion mixed with not eating in a while.
Did he even have breakfast today?
Shit. He didn’t have breakfast.
“Okay. Here’s what’s gonna happen. I’m gonna go inside and tell them there’s an emergency and I can’t stay. The director is cool, he won’t even ask questions.” The girl was waving her hands around like that would help explain her plan. It didn’t. “Then, I walk you to the library. You buy me a snack at the cafe next to it so I can make the walk back here. We never see each other again, I pretend you’re not as pitiful as you look, and you learn where the library is.”
In theory, that sounded fine. But in practice, he wasn’t gonna waste her time.
The library closed in two hours and he wouldn’t have nearly enough time to do what he needed to by the time he got there, so why waste the energy walking all that way? Especially if it caused someone else to waste their time?
“It’s alright. Go to practice. I’m just gonna walk back to my car and head to the dorm.”
“You live on campus? Which dorm?”
“Grayson Hall. Why?”
There was only one co-ed dorm on campus, so the odds of her living in the same building as him were slim to none.
“Me too! Dude, do you think you could wait for me to be done with practice and drive us both back? It’s dark when I leave and my usual ride is sick.”
Steve should’ve said no. He didn’t even know this girl’s name. She seemed kind of crazy. Like, who asked a stranger for a ride and told them where they lived?
“You don’t have much stranger danger knowledge do you?”
“I think I can take you if I have to. You’re pale and you have bags under your eyes the size of the moon. I took a self defense class before I came here. My parents insisted.”
“Uh.” Well, he couldn’t really think of a reason not to at this point. “Okay.”
“Great! I’m Robin. You are…?”
“Steve.”
“Cool. See you in two hours dingus!”
He didn’t get a chance to respond before she was in the building.
Alright then.
————————-
Robin was kind of insane. But in the best way.
Steve hadn’t really had friends since the first two years of high school.
He’d gotten the shit kicked out of him twice in a row and “fell from grace” by junior year.
He couldn’t even find a place with the nerds. He wasn’t enough of anything. Not enough of a jock. Not enough of a smart kid. Not enough of a nerd. Not enough of a bad boy.
Not enough.
But the more time he spent with Robin, the more he felt like he could be.
She teased him relentlessly, sure, but she let him tease her back.
She was patient with him when he didn’t understand something, taking time to explain an assignment that confused him.
She was a sophomore, didn’t have to take a gap year like he did. She got a scholarship right out of high school.
He cut himself off from his parents right out of high school. The moment he did, he was completely on his own.
He had very little savings, just enough to rent a room in a house with a few people he didn’t know outside of town. He worked two jobs for a while, making sure he was putting away anything extra, living “slim” as one of his roommates used to say.
He didn’t have time to make friends.
And when he got accepted into college, he knew it would be the same.
He was paying for school himself, and he wasn’t smart enough to get an academic scholarship, or good enough at any of the sports he played in high school to get a sports scholarship. That meant he had to work at least one full time job while he took classes.
But that didn’t deter Robin.
She showed up at his door every morning with a smile and some crazy story about what happened at band practice the day before.
Band kids were kind of crazy. Robin was a little crazy.
He loved her.
She brought so much to his life, so much he didn’t realize he’d been missing.
If he didn’t know any better, he’d swear he was in love.
But he did know better.
Before she even came out to him, he knew she was different. Not a bad different, just the kind that he wasn’t wanting to be involved with romantically. Something was telling him she wasn’t interested in him either.
So one month into the semester, while they were studying together on Steve’s lunch break at work, she told him.
“I’m gonna say something that will either make you hate me or make us closer than ever.”
“Okay?”
“Just promise me no matter how you take it, you won’t tell anyone else. It would be dangerous for me.”
Dangerous? Was she in the mafia or something?
“I won’t tell anyone.”
He wouldn’t. But he was a little scared he’d end up in a ditch somewhere.
“I’m. Okay so. You know how you’re into women?”
This is not what Steve expected.
“…yeah?”
“Okay. I’m. Also into women?”
Steve sat silently. Waiting for her to say more.
Robin just stared at him, nervously biting her nails.
“And?” Steve asked when she didn’t continue on her own.
“And…that’s it? I’m a lesbian.”
“Oh.”
Oh, that’s it? Nothing mafia related? Cool.
“Oh?”
“Yeah. I mean I expected something bad.”
“You don’t think that’s bad?”
“No? Should I?”
Robin looked like she was going to cry and that couldn’t happen because they were in public and Steve still didn’t know what to do to comfort people when they cried.
“Don’t cry. Please. I think you’re amazing, Robin. It doesn’t matter if you like women. I like women so, like, I get it.”
“You do?”
“Of course I do! I mean, boobs. Am I right?”
Robin let out a bark of a laugh.
“Yeah, boobs. Hard to resist.”
They smiled at each other, then looked back at their books.
He got lucky with Robin.
He got lucky that she’d found him when he was lost and kept him going the right way since.

Kitchen Shenanigans
“Goddamnit!”
I threw the pots and pans in the sink, frustrated that my attempts to cook breakfast for Sam have failed…again. I’ve been wanting to surprise him, but I was not gifted with the ability to even boil water in a pot.
I sat down on the floor, silently crying. Sam has done so much for me these past few weeks. Is it too much to ask for something to go RIGHT? Well, the universe certainly doesn’t seem to think so.
“Y/N? You okay?”
I looked over to see Sam in the doorway. His hair was wet, indicating that he just showered. However, he was back in his pajamas, which usually means that we were going to take a break from hunting for a bit.
“Honestly…no.”
He quickly came to my side, sitting on the floor next to me and taking me into his arms. “What happened?”
“Well…I was trying to cook breakfast for you…because these past few weeks have been so stressful for you…so I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed.”
“So that’s why the kitchen sink is full…”
I nodded, hiding my face in his neck as I blushed from embarrassment.
“Baby girl, you should know already that you do so much for me,” he said, “You keep me grounded, you take care of me when I need the support that Dean can’t give me…and you even help him when he’s feeling down.”
Sam took his finger and put it under my chin, getting me to look at him. “Don’t beat yourself up over not being able to do one thing, sweetheart.”
I smiled a bit as he gave me a little kiss on my forehead. I rested my head back on his shoulder as he carried me bridal style into the library. I curled up next to him as we rested up on the couch. “We’re making Dean cook breakfast aren’t we? That’s why you bought me in here.”
Sam just chuckled. “Guilty.”
We spent the next hour just cuddling and talking about whatever came to our mind. We then hear a “Ahem” and looked to find Dean with a very concerned expression on his face. “Alright, kid. You try burning down the bunker again?”
I rolled my eyes and threw a couch pillow his way. “Shut it, Winchester. I wanted to do something for Sam and it didn’t work out. Plain and simple.”
“Wait…you were gonna just give Sammy the food and leave me to starve?”
“You can cook your own shit, pal. Besides…after what happened, I think I did you a favor.”
Dean just shook his head but let out a small chuckle. “Well…bacon anyone?”

Face your Fears
stephen strange x fem!reader
summary: after coming back from the multiverse he writes you a letter telling you everything you need to know...
word count: 1.5k
warnings: implied smut but no smut, mentions of murder
Tumblr media
When Stephen returned to his universe he couldn’t stop thinking about what his sinister self said. About how he murdered multiple of his variants because they weren't with you. Stephen couldn’t help but think that if this whole multiversal adventure didn’t happen would he have been next. When Stephen was in universe 838 with America, you were with Wong and Wanda at wandagore. It was bitter to see your once friend become a villain. But in the end she was a hero for destroying the Darkhold in every universe. When America opened a portal to get you and Wong back to Karma-taj she then opened a portal to the universe that Stephen was in. When you saw him you immediately ran and hugged him. The impact almost made him fall back but once he regained his balance he picked you up so your legs wrapped around his waist. With a broken voice you whispered in his ear, “ I missed you so much”. Stephen was your best friend if anything happened to him you wouldn’t know what to do with yourself. “ I wasn’t even gone for that long” he said with a raspy deep voice that made him sound sexy as ever. Wait Y/N you can’t think like that he’s your best friend. “ Shut up and let me hug you” you closed your eyes and tightened your legs around his waist. You held each other for another minute before America cleared her throat “Maybe you guys should change before you go at it.”, you blushed as Stephen let you down to stand on your own.
~
You decided to stay at Karma-taj a little bit before you went back to the New York sanctum. You wanted to teach America some skills and you just needed a break from the city and maybe your best friend. You were in the library at around eleven at night when Wong walked in.
“You should rest, Y/n. You’ve been through alot in the past week.” you loved how Wrong was so caring but right now you just wanted to be distracted by something.
“Wong, it’s fine, I'm fine.” that came out a little bit harsher than intended but you really didn’t want to talk to him.
“Is this about Stephen?” Why does he have to be so good at reading people?
You rolled your eyes “ Why would this be about Stephen?”
“Because it’s obvious you both have feelings for each other.” your eyes widened.
“Wong, I do not have feelings for Stephen.” That was a big fat lie but you wouldn't let it show.
“Y/N did you see the way you held each other when he came back? It’s obvious that there are feelings between you two. So why don't you just admit it?” he said sternly which made your feelings burst.
“BECAUSE I’M SCARED.” you said in a raised voice.
“I’m scared that if I tell him how I really feel that he’ll reject me and all that happiness that I felt with him will never come back.” you said on the verge of tears.
Wong walked over to you and kneeled in front of your chair to hug you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and started to cry on his shoulder. Wong knew of all the heartbreak that you have been through. He also knew that anytime you were around Stephen you were the happiest he’s ever seen you.
After a few minutes your tears stopped and you let go of Wong. You wiped your face when you saw another figure at the door. It was America. You opened your arms so she could hug you too. After you let go of America you all stood up.
“Face your fears, Y/N Y/L/N.” Wong said.
You nodded your head and walked out of the library to go to your temporary bedroom.
~
The next day you took Wong's advice and decided to face your fears. You didn’t have much at Karma-taj so you didn’t have to pack much. After you said your goodbyes to Wong and America you opened a portal to the New York sanctum. It was silent when you walked it so you decided to go looking for Stephen.
“Stephen? Are you here?” no response.
“Stephen?” you said louder still no response.
Maybe he just wasn’t at home right now. You went upstairs to your room and saw it was just the way you left it, you dropped your bag down on the floor and jumped on your bed. Then you saw something you haven’t seen before. There was an envelope on your nightstand. You picked up the envelope and you saw it had your name on it. It was a little messy but still legible. You were wondering who left this here but then you realized. Stephen wrote this. Your breath caught in your throat and your eyes widened. Why would he write a letter to you? When you opened the envelope your hands trembled a bit. You unfolded the paper and started to read.
Dear, Y/N
I’m writing this to tell you how I feel because I would never have the strength to say it to your face. You're currently at Karma-taj helping America with her skills. And I am here sitting in your room writing this letter. When I went across the multiverse there was this variant of me who killed other variants of me because I wasn’t with you. And couldn’t help but think that I could’ve been his next target. So what I’m trying to say is that I love you. Since the day I met you I knew you would rock my world. You're always so selfless and kind even when you don’t need to be. You give me butterflies when you laugh. The happiness I feel when I am with you is the best feeling in the world. The way I held you when I got back to Karma-taj is the way I want to hold you for the rest of my life. I wake up in the morning for you, I fight mystical battles everyday for you, and I live everyday for you. I know that you will probably never feel the same way or see this letter but it feels good to write all my feelings down. Anyway, I love you, Y/N Y/L/N and I love you in every universe.
S.S
You were balling when you finished the letter. You had no idea you made that much of an impact on his life. You put the letter back down on your night stand. You stood from your bed and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. You wondered where he was. You didn’t even know what you were going to do when he got back. Maybe you should make a plan.
“Hey Stephen, I came back early from Karma-taj and read your letter. Yeah and I wanted to say I’m in love with you too. No that’s stupid.” you said to yourself quietly. Your heart dropped when you heard a portal open. ‘Face your fears Y/N Y/L/N’. You kept replaying what Wong said in your head.
You walked out of the kitchen to the sound of the portal. You walked into the foyer to see Stephen holding paper brown bags which were filled with groceries. He was startled when he saw you almost dropping the groceries.
“Hey, Y/N I didn’t know you would be back-”
“I READ YOUR LETTER” you blurt out not letting him finish his sentence.
His smile dropped. He suddenly couldn’t breathe. He totally forgot he wrote that in your room and left it on your nightstand. He was supposed to get that letter out of your room before you came back. But this is what he gets for being stupid. He set the bags down on the floor, beginning to explain.
“Y/N, I am so sorr-”
“Stepheniloveyoutoo” you said quickly and closed your eyes tightly.
“What?”
You opened your eyes and let out a breath “Stephen I’m in love with you too”
His eyes widened. Was he hearing right? You could tell he was shocked which made you giggle a little.
“Oh, umm, yeah, thank you.” thank you? He just sounded like a total idiot. You smiled. You ran and jumped on him so your arms were wrapped around his neck and legs wrapped around his middle.
“Yeah, you’re welcome” you said while smiling. Your face was millimeters from his. Your hands came up to cup his cheeks while his were under your thighs . You saw every wrinkle and pore on his face. He was so beautiful. You both started to lean when your lips brushed against each other. The kiss was soft and sweet. You felt like you were in heaven. After making out a little his hands moved a little higher to your ass.
You gasped “ Stephen!”
“What? I can’t touch the love of my life?” he said smugly.
You rolled your eyes with a smile.
“Let me show you how much I love you,” he said with adoration in his eyes. You nodded and let him carry you all the way up the stairs to his room.
~
Hours later you both laid in his bed with your head on his bare chest.
“Hey, Stephen”
“Yeah, baby”
“I love you” “I love you too”
“And I love you in every universe”

(divider by @delishlydelightfuldividers)
Tumblr media
To say that you were confused was an understatement. You didn't know that someone could go through as many emotions as you did in such a short amount of time. How dare Steve react the way that he did, how dare he break your heart the way that he did. It wasn't even the fact that he just left which made you upset, it was the fact that he said he 'feared' your confession. You knew he wouldn't see you as anything more than a friend but to think that little of you to the point of being scared of the possibility of anything more? That was past weird, now it was rude.
You cried your heart out to Robin, who thankfully walked you to your house, told your parents you were staying over for the weekend, grabbed a bag full of the essentials and walked you to her place, where you stayed up the whole night talking and eating ice cream. She left at around 9 am, claiming she 'knew a guy' and came back with 2 rolled joints, a couple of beers, and some guy with shaggy hair trailing alongside her like a lost puppy.
"I know it's only 9 am, but I got weed, beer, and Eddie!" she exclaimed as she held her hands out to show off the guy.
"Who the heck is Eddie?" you asked, in between sniffles.
"Me! I know we've never met but Robin said she needed a guy's mind to tackle a problem, and trust me, anything with King Steve is definitely a problem." he explained as he sat down next to you, offering his hand out for you to shake.
The mention of Steve's name only made you cry harder, making Eddie pull back his hand and look up at Robin worriedly.
"I'll let her explain." Robin stated as she started to light a joint.
"There's not much to explain, really. There's just this guy who I've always been best friends with, then I caught feelings like an idiot, then we stopped talking because he only had eyes for his girlfriend, and last night she dumped him so I confessed my feelings and he had the nerve to say 'You've said the one thing I've feared for so long.'"
"Wait, feared? Why would he fear that?" Eddie asked as he blew smoke from his mouth.
"Dunno. He said now we'll never go back to just being friends."
"Jesus, this guy is stupid. Is there anything more you need to say?"
"Not really..."
"Wonderful! I propose we get high, drunk, and listen to music!"
"Absolutely not! Eddie, your music taste is just noise, we're listening to Y/N's music."
"Robs we didn't bring any to your house..."
"HA then metal it is!"
Eddie laughed as he brought out a mixtape from his pocket while Robin groaned and you giggled at their interactions. As much as you were still upset over Steve, it was nice to have them as a distraction.
This dynamic continued for longer than you had expected. It took a few weeks to get over Steve but you found yourself back into the swing of things, and with a new friend now, Eddie! Eventually you graduated and even got accepted into University of Notre Dame. The move was good for you, the weight lifted off your shoulders as you became occupied with living your life on your own. You were a bit upset because you couldn't spend as much time with Robin or Eddie anymore, but you felt yourself evolve into a more mature and career orientated woman. The independence was necessary, as you'd say.
You always said you'd go visit Robin, but that happened less than you had hoped for. Either some teacher assigned insane amounts of working practically trapping you in the library to do research or you had some other friend to go visit. Time escaped your mind and you found yourself planning to finally go back to Hawkins in the summer of 1985. With just a few phone calls, your parents had cleared out your room for your arrival, as they asked about all the details of their college girl. While you tried to be positive and talk about your experience, you couldn't help but feel a bit sore. Hawkins was your home, it was also home to the one boy who kinda made it miserable. You weren't sure if you were ready to face him again, but you were determined to forget about it, you had better people to see anyways.
The drive back was quiet, you slept for most of it, trying to ignore the overthinking that plagued your mind. Even when you got back home, you flopped yourself on your bed, waiting for the evening to come so you could surprise Robin and Eddie.
"Y/N? Y/N!" a voice called out from the street. As you rushed to wipe the sleep from your eyes you wondered who was yelling at you with such frenzy. You pulled the door open to reveal your father who was waiting for you in the car.
"What is it?"
"We gotta go now! There's been a fire at Starcourt!"
"Starcourt? The mall?"
"Yeah, now let's go!"
"Wait hold on, why are we going to a mall that just burnt down?"
"Honey, you didn't know?"
"I didn't know what...?"
"That's the mall where Robin works! Now le'ts go!"
You felt your heart drop at your father's words. Without thinking you ran out to climb into the car, temporarily forgetting that you were still in a tank top and your flannel pants. Panic rushed through your mind as you thought of all the things that could have happened. The sound of sirens grew louder as you approached the mall and you ran out of the car, not even bothering to close the door.
"Robin? Robin! Where are you?" you yelled as you ran around trying to spot your friend. You made out a vague blur of teenagers who were all sitting on the edge of fire trucks or ambulances but you still couldn't find your friend. That was when a certain voice pulled you out of your head, causing you to turn around.
"Y/N...?" he whispered as your jaw dropped when you saw his face. Steve was sat against some wrecked car, holding ice to his face.
"Holy shit, Steve? What the hell happened to you?" you asked. You felt your body instinctively run towards him and reach out to touch his wounds, yanking your hand back when he winced.
"Y/N what are you doing here?"
"Not now Steve, I'm glad you're not dead but, I need to find Robin!"
"Y/N, I'm here!" she called as she limped over to the two of you, immediately pulling you into a hug.
"Robin what the fuck? I come home from college to find out the mall burned down and now you're here? What happened?!"
"Oh my god Y/N you won't believe this, so I started working at Scoops with Steve and then turns out the Russians were hiding in our mall so we had to decoded their message and then the Russians caught us and they drugged us and Steve and I were tortured, well Steve was tortured, and then Billy got possessed and then there was this huge fucking monster and we almost died but we didnt!"
"Robin... what."
"I'm serious Y/N! I'm fully serious!"
"Okay, let's get you home."
"What about Steve?"
"What about Steve?"
"We can't just leave him here!"
"I'm not entirely sure when you became friends with him, but I'm not friends with him. He can figure out how to get home, my ride deal only stands with you."
Robin looked over at Steve who had his head tilted back as he held the ice to his face. You stood firm in your decision and your father was waiting by his car, asking if people were okay as they walked by.
"Y/N, I promise I will explain everything, please just, come over to my house tonight. Or better, let's go to Steve's and we'll explain it all."
"Steve's? You have got to be kidding me Robs do you not remember what he did to me? I go for one year and I come back and you're besties now?!"
"I promise it's not what it looks like, I swear! I will explain everything, please, just trust me."
Robin put on the puppy eyes that you knew you were too weak to say no to, so you slapped Steve on the shoulder and told him to follow you and her to your dad's car. You explained that you'd take care of the two at Steve's house, which he thankfully agreed to with no questions, and dropped you off in front of Steve's home.
When you entered you let out a breath of relief at seeing an empty house. Some things just didn't change no matter how long you stayed away. You pushed Robin and Steve onto the couch as you looked around for a first aid kit and grabbed glasses of water for the pair.
"Someone better start talking right now." you muttered as you took out disinfectant and poured it onto some cotton balls.
"Hawkins is fucking cursed." Steve whispered as he stared off into the distance.
"Elaborate."
"Remember that Byers kid? Will? The one who went missing?"
"What about him?"
"He didn't go missing, he was kidnapped by some fucking monster."
"Those monsters came from the same place the monster that attacked us at the mall! The same one that possessed Billy!" Robin added.
For the next 40 minutes they explained the whole situation of how the Upside Down came to take place in Hawkins, starting with Will's dissappearance and up until the burning of Starcourt. You took your time to clean Steve's face, slapping his arm every time he winced or hissed at the pain.
"So, the supernatural are in Hawkins, Steve you've been fighting them for like a year and a half, and you almost died fighting another at the mall last night?"
"Yeah pretty much." Steve whispered, now leaning on his side.
"Y/N I swear Steve has been nothing but good to me. At first I really didn't wanna work with him because I know what he's done to you but just trust me when I say he's a better guy now."
"Okay."
"That's it?"
"Yeah, that's it. I trust you Robin, I'm just glad you're safe."
Robin teared up as she pulled you into another hug, earning a chuckle from both you and Steve.
"Now chop chop, it's bed time for the both of you."
You ordered Steve to say seated as you went upstairs and brought out clothes for Robin to change into as well as a blanket for her to use on mattress in the spare room. It felt somewhat natural, being back in Steve's house and moving around as if it was your own. Yet another part of you felt like a fake, like you were playing the role of someone who knew what to do, when really you didn't. You weren't ignorant, you knew that Steve's eyes were on you the whole time, you knew he was watching you, but you were more focused on Robin. By the time you tucked her into bed and promised you'd be right up, you had expected Steve to go up on his own, prompting you to come back downstairs for a beer, you definitely needed one.
"Does it feel natural, to be back in my house?" he whispered from the darkness surrounding the couch, inticing a yelp from you.
"Christ Steve I thought you had gone to bed. I don't need to tuck you in you're not a little boy."
"It's been a while, since you've been here. I've missed seeing you here." he continued.
"Steve, I don't know what the Russians injected you with, but you need to sleep it off. Come on, up you go."
"I don't wanna go. If I sleep they'll get me, they'll get me in my sleep."
"Who'll get you?"
"Everything, everyone. The demogorgon, demodogs, Billy, the mind flayer, the Russians, they'll all get me."
"Okay Steve, come on, I'm serious now. Go upstairs and go to bed."
"Goddamnit Y/N can't you see that I don't wanna sleep? I wanna talk to you!" he yelled, making you choke on your beer at his sudden outburst.
"Why the hell do you wanna do that? You must be exhausted, you need the sleep!"
"I don't need sleep I need you." he deadpanned.
"What did you just say?"
"I need you, Y/N."
"Steve, you're high."
"I don't give a fuck if I'm high. I was so fucking stupid and I lost you once, I won't lose you again."
"What in god's name are you talking about Harrington?"
"I know you know what I'm talking about."
"I don't, to be frank, I have no clue what you're talking about. Because I refuse to believe that you think that you lost me, that one night after the party. You didn't lose me, dumbass, you fucking left me, you pushed me away. Said you feared me having feelings for you."
"I know. And I regret it so much."
"We are not having this conversation right now oh my god."
"For fucks sake Y/N yes we are. I haven't been able to see you in a year and you're all I've been thinking about. I have dreamt of the day that I'd be able to talk to you again, to hold you, to love you, so for crying out let me explain."
You felt your mouth open and close like a fish, but you couldn't find any words, so you just kept quiet.
"I know what I did. I know I pushed you away, I know I said horrible words, but I did not mean them. Actually know, I did mean them, I meant them because nothing in this world, no demogorgon, no demodog, no mind flayer, no nothing, could fear me more, than the thought of losing you. I loved my parents, and now they're never home, I loved Nancy, and she dumped me, everything that I have loved, I have lost in some way or another. And I do not think that I would be able to continue in this world if I had lost you. I was scared, damn it, Y/N, I was so scared. I pushed you away because I thought that if you stayed away, I wouldn't be able to lose you for good. And then all the shit with the Upside Down happened and the last thing I needed was for you to get involved, so I did what I had to do. I thought if I broke your heart for good you'd be safe."
You heard Steve's voice crack as he started to cry. It took such an immense strength to not cry yourself. You wanted to run to him and hold him, tell him that you still loved him and that he would never lose you, but that part of you was fighting the more logical part, who knew that he could have explained this to you, he could have said something instead of just trashing you away the way that he did.
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"I was worried, scared, a coward, fucking stupid. I was all these things fit into some dumb highschool teenage boy who thought that the world was about pretty girls and basketball. And then a few days later I tried to make it up to Nancy and I fought a fucking demogorgon."
"I'm not sure what to say Steve. I've grown up myself, I'm in college, I have goals, I'm not the same Y/N I was almost two years ago."
"I know, and if anything I love this new you. You're more assertive, more confident, more knowledgable. It's attractive, don't get me wrong, but I'm more proud. You don't put up with shit anymore, especially not mine."
A comfortable silenct fell upon you two as you just sat staring at each other whlie you occasionally took sips from your beer. Even when you had finished it, you kept raising the bottle to your mouth, hoping there would be a little bit that you missed. Hundreds of thoughts whizzed around in your mind as you thought of what this meant for the future of you and Steve. At the end of the day he was still one of the closest friends you'd ever had.
"Y'know what, let's restart." you said after a while. Steve cocked his head to the side as he looked at you with a confused expression.
"Restart?"
"Yeah. We're two different people now, so let's restart. Hello, my name is Y/N Y/L/N. And you are?" you explained as you walked closer to him, holding out your hand to shake his. Steve still looked skeptical but couldn't hold back his smile at being able to touch you.
"I'm Steve Harrington, nice to meet you."
"Oh but, can we just go back to the part where you said you said you wanted to hold and love me again?"
"Uh excuse me? I don't think I've ever said that to you, afterall, we just met 30 seconds ago Miss Y/L/N!" Steve joked as he pulled you down into him, leading to you falling into his lap and against his chest. He wrapped his arms around you tightly and pressed a kiss into your hair.
"Bold of you to be hugging a person you just met Mr. Harrington." you whispered, pulling yourself back just enough to see the pout on Steve's face. You cracked, wrapping your own arms around him and squeezing. Sobs wracked through his body as he held on to you, he didn't expect this moment to make him so emotional, but he couldn't help but cry.
"So what now? I know we restarted but, we have so much history, and, I still love you so much..." Steve muttered into your ear as he held you.
"We'll talk about it tomorrow Steve, I'm here for 2 whole months, we don't have to go through this now. You need to rest."
"I don't wanna sleep alone..."
"Are you asking me to sleep with you? Jesus Harrington you're fast!"
"Oh cut the crap Y/N let me cuddle my girl."
"Your girl?"
"Uhm, that is if you want to be."
"I've always been your girl Steve, just different meanings of that phrase. We'll talk about it tomorrow, I promise, but let's get some sleep now okay?"
"Let's? As in us? As in you and me?" he asked excitedly as you pulled his wrist and dragged him up the stairs.
"Yes Steve, you and me."
When you reached his bedroom, you crept away for a moment to check that Robin was safe, smiling when you saw her passed out and snoring in the bed. You turned back to Steve's room to find him tucked in, holding the blanket and his arms out as he was waiting for you to join him. Kicking off your shoes, you slid in next to him, and Steve wasted no time in pulling you close into his arms and nuzzling his face into yours.
He fell asleep quickly, but you stayed up for some time. You couldn't help but scold yourself for folding so quickly, you had hoped that you had more strength when it came to Steve, but another part of you was glad that things were on the mend. You knew that realistically you would start dating, which would suck given that you'd have to go back to college, leaving Steve in a dangerous town, but you decided that that would be a concern for tomorrow. Before you fell asleep you smiled to yourself, happy at being in Steve's arms again, where you belonged.

Another analysis of chaper eight bing! I would like to start of by pointing out how I just love the idea of reader and Tara being glued at the hip😂 our girls are lucky they go to the same university. Reader being very dutifully to her classes and studying made me smile, she’s such a nerd. I love her to bits. There is something so intimate about studying in a library. Maybe that’s just my nerd talking. I knew the subject of Tara’s mother was going to come up eventually…but I will say I was surprised so soon. As soon as reader let the words out I will admit I was a bit taken back. I knew tara would get defensive and spew out words of anger…I knew it. As someone whose family is also not nearly the happy framed portrait picture I understand Tara wholeheartedly. My father and I sort of have the same relationship as tara and her mother. So it was easy for me to feel almost defensive to if that makes sense. But I also know reader, and her heart was in the right place. She’s such a good person she just wants her girlfriend to be happy. But some things in life are better left untouched. Especially if Tara’s mother is as neglectful as tara speaks of. I knew tara was going to spew words out about readers family, how perfect they are, how normal…how she had the world. What I did not expect was reader acting nervous and anxious…especially at Tara’s raised voice. My first thought was that slime on the bottom of my shoe Connor…but as we learned it was not. Reader leaving and tara grounding back to earth after she let her anger take over and realization hit her was definitely such a real and vivid moment. I cannot say how many times I have had that realization. Testament to your writing bing. Elder sister Sam coming in and picking up the pieces of a brewing tara was simply the best. I also enjoyed Sam practically yelling out readers name at the door 😂 reader acting timid and not sure what to do upon entering Tara’s room warmed my heart, she really is significant other material. I was not expecting reader to spew out the secrets that her family hold. But I will say….the apple Bing….THE APPLE. It might be my English lit in me but the subtle forshadow in chapter seven blew my mind!! Readers father seems like such a good man, I love him dearly, and was sad to hear about readers past familial issues. But I love how it makes her more relatable. She doesn’t let that one thing in her life get to her. Tara finding out that neither family is perfect was such a key moment. Because in reality no family is. No matter how hard one tries. Reader spewing out that “maybe our family will be” Nearly made me cry. I love how innocent it was, so full of hope. And Tara of course agreeing straight away. Such a Shakespeare moment in its finest. I cannot wait to see what you come up with bing. I’m currently trying to figure out why my asks are not going through, hence this anon. But just know I’m still here! I will always be a loyal scholar Bing. (Ps I love how Eddie caused chaos in the statue garden…I bet Nate was displeased)- Houseofwindsor77
my love, my dear, my houseofwindsor77 :D
i swear, even if R and Tara happened to not attend the same uni, they'd still manage to somehow be attached at the hip
tara was definitely extra defensive too considering the stress for finals week -- could make any sane person lose their mind fr
"slime on the bottom of my shoe" is such a real description for stinky man connor
R's father is a good man! now, at least. obviously, when she was a kid, he was out of it -- never showed up to things, always angry, always made her feel like she was wrong -- but he's there now, and he tries to make up for it by being a good father
tara and R forever fr, gonna have their perfect little family (of course, not really, but they can always dream)
oh, nate was so mad at Eddie for the statue garden prank, but he was just glad he didn't deface the shakespeare statue

15 questions, 15 mutuals
@moon-arts02 had this on her blog and I wanted to do it, too so here we go...
1. Are you named after anyone?
Yes. My paternal Grandmother. Just like 2 of my female cousins. I'm not kidding.
2. When was the last time you cried?
I actually don't cry a lot. I mean of course I sometimes tear up when a movie or a song really touches me deep inside (it's still new to me since this didn't happen in my earlier days) but actually crying? Like lying in bed crying a river? I don't remember.
I think it was in September when I was at Disneyland Paris. Seeing the Disney D-Light and the Disney Illumination show for the first time was so beautiful I got overwhelmed and cried like a fool. Just because it was so beautiful.
3. Do you have kids?
No. And I don't want to have kids. All that Relationship/family stuff is scary to me as I'm afraid I might screw it up. I'm not good at these things.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Well, I haven't thought about it yet. Do I? I don't use it like all the time but whenever I feel like it or when I'm really pissed off by somebody. I think that's when my sarcasm gets me. When I'm pissed.
5. What sports do you play/have played?
- running to the train station to catch the train
- running to the tram station to catch the tram
- walking up and down the stairs in the library
- stretching as far as I can to reach the top shelf
- walking up and down the library ladder
- walking around the library in general
- lifting big heavy books on my head
- try to keep the books on the shelf from falling with one hand while putting another book on the shelf with the other hand
- walking from one corner in my office to another
6. What's the first thing you notice about people?
I don't know. With every person it's something different. I like to look at people as a whole, their overall appearance, not just their eyes or their hair, etc. I literally look at people from top to bottom. And the first thing I notice is possibly something remarkable. But what I always look at first is their faces so I guess that's what I notice first.
7. What's your eye colour?
Brown-green
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
I'm a DISNEY GIRL so ALWAYS AND FOREVER happy endings!😅
No, just kidding. I don't really like scary movies because they are - SPOILER! - scary and I have way to much fantasy and imagination to not be scared after a scary movie. Although during my last holiday I wanted to watch scary movies and watched almost all of the Conjuring Universe movies and wasn't scared. Don't know what was wrong with me that made wanna watch them but I have to admit it was pretty inspiring. Guess I had a little 1 week dark phase 😅
So I lean more to happy endings. But you know what's better than happy endings? Happy lives. Happy beginnings.
9. Any special talents?
Writing. Reading. Acting. Editing. Designing. Probably dancing?
Are these special talents?
But I'm not like a sword swallower, if that's what you mean.
10. Where were you born?
Munich!
11. What are your hobbies?
Writing. Reading. Editing. Dancing. Watching movies and TV-shows. Going to the cinema. Simping on stuff I love. Talking to people I like about things I like.
12. Do you have pets?
No. My father used to have a dog in Sicily called Baronetto. That's the closest I ever got to having pet (my father is Sicillian btw).
13. How tall are you?
1,50m in the tallest, I guess?
14. Favorite subject in school?
Oh, I LOVED my music classes in 8th/9th grade! My ex music teacher is so adorable and lovely and we're still in touch meeting from time to time. We just have tea and cookies then and talk about this and that. And we both relie on those conversations.
15. Dream job?
Author or actress, of course!
But I already found a very good job in a library. And I already live out my dreams so I don't necessarily have to be an author or an actress to make them come true.
But then again I'm still young so who knows? What is not yet can always come (or however the saying goes).
So, who's up next?
Feel free to do it when you want!
@moon-arts02 Wanna do a Melissa McCarthy/Ursula/Sookie version?

12, 18, 37! I hope you're having a good night!
Hi Trouble!! ❤️❤️ Thank you for the ask!
12. Have you ever stayed up 48 hours? Yes. Multiple times. Because of a variety of reasons. I recall having done that a good handful of times in my university years, especially during exam weeks and finals. I'd have a normal day then stay up to study, then loose track of time, spend overnight at the library, ride out the fatigue-induced delirium by watching the sunrise at the top of the hill my university was on, overlooking the city, listening to 70s prog rock and crying, then walk into one more day of exams, do my whole day, hit my second wind and be unable to sleep after that XD I've also had to do that a few times in the past few years. Isomnia is a thing. I work night shifts but sometimes I have to flip myself on a day shift for formations or meetings or family activities or trips so 30-ish hours is something semi-usual for me. When I got covid last summer I coughed so much I was completely unable to sleep for almost three days until my pharmacist found a syrup that finally stopped my coughing spasm and then I slept for an entire 24 hours at once to recover. It happens XD
18. Are you scared of spiders? So. On one hand spiders fascinate me. I like the concept of the creature. I think they look rad. I like them in theory. In practice, it's the skittering man. I can't deal with how fast they walk and how they crawl up walls, I feel spiders outsmart us humans routinely and it makes me uncomfortable to see them walk. That's probably a very primitive, lizard brain response that I haven't been able to outgrow yet. Spiders skittering spike my adrenaline. I like spiders outside of my house, I love them in nature, I watch them make their webs and shit and they're such architects, I'd never hurt one in nature. But I feel like, dude, if you're INSIDE MY HOME you're tresspassing and I have a right to defend myself and my people / pets, you know? XD
37. Is it easier to forgive or forget? Oooooh hitting with the deep shit are we! I like this! I feel like both are difficult for me. My neurodivergent brain registers and preserves strong painful moments in my life like an archive, like a damn museum. If a situation or a person ellicits a strong negative emotion in me, it's like a mark, it will stay there forever. I can recall entire conversations word for word from years and years back, from when I was a kid even, and it blows people's minds how accurate my memory is. I wish I could uninstall that function honestly, or have that level of memory for positive things at least, but I don't. Positive moments I have to actively produce physical memories from like pictures and videos or else I will 100% forget about them. I don't know which kind of trauma response that is, but that's how my brain functions and I gotta deal with it XD So like, I don't forget. I can make myself not think of the thing, I can think of other stuff, it's not like every negative memory I've ever had pops out in my mind constantly otherwise I would not function. But the archive is always there and it's pristine. On the other hand, I'm also a person that's sometimes fueled by spite and I motivate myself via anger lots. I am a spiteful motherfucker, I hold grudges. I've put a lot of work into deconstructing the anger in therapy over the years, but part of it is also to accept that this is how I am and it's ok. I vibe with acceptance therapy a lot. So. I hold on to grudges. It's weirdly comfortable. It's a comfort zone to begrudge. Sometimes I just don't want to forgive cause I loose the fire and the motivation to do better or maintain distance with someone toxic. I have boundaries, but what gives me the strength to hold them up proudly and say, no more, never doing that again / letting someone do that to me again, it's the grudge sometimes. Forgiveness is a strange beast. I'll forgive when the anger doesn't serve me anymore. I forgive once I'm done using something as fuel, once it drains more evergy than it provides. I don't forgive for others, I forgive for myself, and that's a process that's not the easiest. tl;dr they're both hard as fuck for me XD woops!
Those were super interesting to jump into, thanks Trouble! :D

any tips for someone who has zero gun
human contact? i took open school last year (april ‘23), to prepare for national university admission exam (massive deal in my country), open school is basically when you don’t have to physically go to school, you just have to give exams that too from your home. so main purpose of this was to study and go to private institute’s classes for prep for the exam(1.3M+ students appear, and only 39k seats). and i spent a big chunk of my parents money on this private institute, but now the situation is that i’m no longer interested in studying. i cut off all my friends. i don’t talk to people at the institute. my institute has been off for 3 months now (more like i didn’t attend for 2 months, i used to sit at the library after lying to my mom that i went to the institute). i have no human contact. i rot in my bed all day. i watch youtube and instagram just to have that human interaction atleast online. it’s not that all my friends left me, it’s that i myself cut them one by one off bcz everyone was giving me the ick. my mom doesn’t talk to me in a good way, it’s either anger or nagging. she uses me not having any person against me during fights (that are caused by me bcz i share my feelings with her about not having anyone to talk to and how her not talking to me in a good way affects me, i cry like 30 seconds into taking to her). my sister is to young to be hearing all this depressing stuff from me, she’s happy with her school and friends and i want her to be that way. my dad is posted somewhere else for work so he doesn’t live with us. he calls my mom 4+ times a day, talks goofily and happily with my sister, but he never talks to me. he asks my mom what am i doing and her answer is always that i am studying, even tho i’m not and literally sitting right infront of her at dining table. he never further asks about me. i recently bought myself a new phone, i only have four contacts— mom, sis, dad and aunt, and i got my dad’s number after he ringed my phone, which he only does when mom’s not picking his calls. now i don’t pick up his calls but back when i used to, his word used to be “where’s mom?” no hi or how are you to his daughter. i talk to no one. i don’t even go to my balcony that’s attached to my own room. haven’t seen sunlight in weeks. but nobody cares
Hi sweetheart. First it's so hard to know how I can give advice for this because it sounds like you're depressed. I'm not a doctor, though. I have no qualifications to tell you what's happening, but it truly sounds like you might be going through depression. And depression can immobilize you and you may find yourself alienating from all your friends and family, a form of self-sabatoge.
If you have the ability, consider therapy. It sounds like you live in India based on what you've said about open school and nat'l university exams (I might be wrong, if so, apologies) and I don't know what options you have or what cities you live near but see if there is a program or some therapists in your area.
Take a look at this and this and here are some free online therapy chat options (7 Cups always comes highly recommended) if you'd like to talk to someone online.
I'm so sorry that you're going through this and feeling this way. I hope you find some peace and begin to feel like yourself again. While I don't have great advice for you I will say that I'm always here if you want to vent. I'll read any ask you send and hear you. You deserve to be listened to and to feel happy in life.
Also if anyone here has real advice to give or some love to share with anon please do.
xoxo

Young artist here: how do you manage your time and life? (If you are in college or university) is it hard? How do you find time to do the things you enjoy and make art?
(( SORRY IF I DIDN'T SEE THIS QUESTION EARLIER:'0 SORRY SORRY ;o; )
Hello! And- well, sometimes it can be easy, sometimes it can be a bit hard, for my experience, when the things start to feel wrong/hard, it's because I feel overwhelmed and I use to do a lot of mistakes, when I feel like this, I write how I feel at that moment....and it works- or I put some music that I like, or I take a bath; Sometimes it doesn't work, so I just use some sensory things (I love my unicorn worm noodle-) for feel relaxed and less overwhelmed (or I just cry when the emotions are so intense)
Well, first of all, I'm a university student (lol yayy) but all the modules I take are virtual classes, so, it is really different to a university (the times, the days of class, the starting of a new class) where you go and sit for take your classes with the presence of the classmates and teachers. For example, some people has their classes all the week, in my case, I can take my class the day that I want, just respecting the homework schedule of the module.
With the university: I try to manage my time with a organisation of days, for example, I use the Mondays for read and study all the information I can take for the new module, the teacher activities are archived, so I read the instructions the necessary times I need. I'm a really slow person if we talk about homework/projects, so i take some days for finish my works. Since Tuesday to Thursday, i do my homework (or sometimes i only need a part of one day) the Fridays and Saturdays are like my "limited day" for finish my homework. The organisation of your days depends a lot of your pace of work and how comfortable you feel about it, for example, I use this routine since I was 18 (the age where I started the university) and now I'm 20 and I still feel comfortable with it!. But how I said, for everyone it's different and we can't force others to follow the same things
With the time: I have the same free time when I start the university modules, but obviously with the only inconvenient of: don't forget the homework
For the things I enjoy.....I don't really think when I need to start them- sometimes I can be there, just sitting and probably staring at my cat... And then, here it is- an idea for a new drawing, or the motivation for play some old videogames, things like that lol
I used to enjoy of doing exercise, you know, go for a jog and run around the library park, a lot of things happened around my life and since the half of 2021, I just stopped of doing these things, I keep the healthy food and take care of myself, but go to jog/run used to keep me relaxed and less stressed. But everyday I go for a walk when I have to buy things, so I'm slowly retaking it :D
(Actually, I'm still working on my sleep and food schedule since the last year, i know I'm not perfect- or it can't get better just with some days, but I'm really working on it, specially with the sleep schedule- because sometimes I just sleep like 2-3 hours, or I sleep A LOT, or i just don't sleep at all. With this part, I learned that: if I'm starting to get sleepy, LEAVE the things that I'm doing at that moment (if it's homework, I can continue it tomorrow; if it's drawings, I can try to leave them for another day) and sleep. I can't sleep if I don't have my music, so I try to put the most calming songs for feel relaxed lol)
And for make drawings, all the time I want to do the art, believe me, but sometimes I don't have that motivation for do it. So I try to not pressure myself, when I draw, it's because I feel really motivated for it and because I know that I REALLY gonna to feel happy and comfortable with it, remember it, if you want to start something, start it FOR YOU and not for other people, do the things that you enjoy FOR YOU and not for others
If you feel comfortable/satisfied/happy for something, keep the good job! without hurting/stress/force yourself for do it (◠‿◠)

"Flower's Love"
There was a girl named Gemini, beautiful as a red tulip, short but terrible and she is straight. Her hobby is reading books in the library of she entered school which is one of the most famous university in the country of the Philippines. Meanwhile, gemini is reading her favourite book named "The vampire's love", while walking in the hallway of her room. She accidentally bumped the other girl named Yannyx tall, has catching eyes, beautiful and perfect lips. She is part of LGBTQ+ which is the lesbian lipstick. Before gemini fall into the floor yannyx grabbed her with her arm. Gemini was shocked because their face are two close to each other like one wrong step their lips will gonna meet.
Gemini: "I'm really sorry", while picking up her book.
Yannyx: "nuh, it's ok no problem.
Gemini: "Are you sure? Ok, then I'll go now coz i have a subject that I need to attend".
Yannyx: "Ok but wait! Can I get your name if you don't mind", In a serious tone.
Gemini: "Oh sure! anyways I'm gemini how bout you?".
Yannyx: "I'm yannyx just call me yannyx".
Gemini: "Ok yannyz so see you around", then she leave yannyx in the hallway.
They become friends since the day that happened. They always talk even chats. yannyx feel something to gemini that she can't feel to others. She knew that she has a feelings for gemini more than a friend.
Weeks past, yannyx went to gemini to confront her that she has a secret feelings to her since the day they bumped each other.
Yannyx: "Hey gemini can I talk you?", Serious tome.
Gemini: "Yes yannyx what is it?" Gemini ask and smiled at her.
Yannyx: "Actually I can't keep this anymore l", she bowed her head.
Gemini: "Then?, She start to nervous for what yannyx will say.
Gemini also know that she has a feelings to yannyx because every time she with yannyx she feel like there's butterflies inside of her stomach. She was scared to tell her feelings because she knew to herself that from the start she is straight.
Yannyx: "I know that this is awkward but I just want to tell you that from the day we've met I got being curious to you. I know that you are straight and I don't want to ruined our friendship that's why I keep it secret to you."she explained sincerely.
Yannyx: I know gemini that your feelings to me is just friends but if you give me a chance to prove myself how much I love you I will not waste it. Gemini bow her head to hide her face because she don't want yannyx to see her face full of emotions and she couldn't even tell to yannyx that she love's her too. She was afraid of what others people will say once they knew that she fall in love into the same gender.
Gemini: "Sorry but I can't love you back yannyx, you know that from the start is I am straight" (in a low tone and not facing yannyx then she walked out).
Yannyx left crying because of gemini said and she didn't even give her a chance to prove that she can be a better boyfriend too. After yannyx confront gemini, yannyx always at the bar instead of school. She always drunk just to release her pain but it couldn't help. While in the other hand, gemini find a ways not see and think yannyx and not to bump it again. She can't focus because she heard that yannyx didn't attend in her subjects instead of it she always go to the bar.
One night, the bartender saw yannyx again in the side of the table. She can't walk properly or stand straight. He saw yannyx's phone behind her so he pick it and dialed the first number list. Gemini saw her phone's ringing and when she check its yannyx number so she quickly answer the call.
Bartender: "Hello?"
Gemini was curious because the voice in another line was a boy.
Gemini: "Who is this?"
Bartender: "Ahm ma'am I am the bartender. I just want to tell that the owner of this phone was very drunk and the thing I can do is to dial the first number in her phone".
After the bartender explained to gemini, she quickly asked the location of that bar then she take a bath and go to the bar that bartender's gave. She park her car and go inside of the bar. She went to the bartender...
Gemini: "Hey? I'm the girl you called on the phone. I would like to say thank you for your concern to her and anyways, where is she? I will take her home."
Bartender: "You're welcome ma'am, Hehe said nicely. She was in the side of that table.
Ater Gemini talked the bartender, she yo to yannyx and assist ger to take home. Gemini doesn't know the yannyx address so she decide to take her in her house. She put yannyx into her bed. Gemini look to yannyx and she sigh to the air and tell
Gemini: "Do I deserve this girl who wants to be loved?. I love you but I'm scared for what other's will say".
Gemini start wiping yannyx face, shoulder's and also change her clothes. Before she stand yannyx hold her hand and say...
Yannyx: "Please love me back, I will do everything just for you gemini just love me back please! Please!
Gemini feel sad for yannyx then she hold yannyx hand too.
Gemini: "You're drunk yannyx, let's talk tomorrow".
Yannyx: "please stay and sleep with me".(crying)
Gemini: "Ok I'll stay".
Gemini lay down next to yannyx and she feel like she is safe with her when yannyx hug her at the back.
Gemini: "I hope everything will be okay". Then she close her eyes and fall asleep.
Then everything become dark.
In the morning gemini feels weird because there's someone staring at her while touching her face.
Yannyx: "Goodmorning! sorry if I disturb your sleep".
Gemini: "Nuhh... It's okay", then she smiled at her.
Yannyx: "I apologize for what I did yesterday."
Gemini: "Actually I have to tell you something. Sorry if I'm being selfish for my feelings. I'm scared to show who really I'am. Sorry I didn't fight back and give you a chance. I'm Justin driven by my fear to be judge of people what they say." Tears began to flow down into gemini's face. Yannyx I love you too. ( Sincerely tone)
Yannyx: "Really?!".
Gemini: (Nod her face)
Yannyx: "Thank you! I promise that I will not waste your trust. I love you gemini." She hugged gemini so tight.
Yannyx was so happy that gemini will love ger back. She start court gemini.
One year past, yannyx got ger yes from gemini and they start to build their dreams together. They know that they will encounter many problems but they can handle it as long as they are together.
"The important thing is not the object of love but the emotion itself".
THE END.

The cadets are turned into kids and think you and Levi are their parents
In the same universe where they called you “mom”, (they are around 3 and 4 years old)
Also— this is adorable (this is from an eruri doujinshi by hitomi which is called curtain call)
Tumblr media
 ------
Eren had an experiment that went wrong. He transformed into his titan form and then suddenly he shrank into a tiny titan. Then he escaped Hange and ran away.
“Someone finds Y/N right now! Eren only listens to her!” Hange yelled at their squad.
When you heard about what happened, Levi looked for Eren with you. When you found him in your office, he was not alone. He was not a titan anymore too. All the cadets were like Eren– tiny little babies.
“MOMMY!” Eren screamed pointing at you.
“Oh no.” you mumbled seeing them all run to you.
They were all hugging your leg, trying to get you attention. Jean started to cry after Eren pushed to the ground. You wanted to pick him up but there were too many kids around you.
“I got this.” Levi assured you and picked Jean up.
Jean stopped crying and stared at the captain frightened. Jean looked at you and reached out his arms towards you. You took Jean in your arms but everyone else started to scream “me too!”.
“Levi,” you said to him, “maybe we should do groups and you take half and I take the other half?”
“No. You can’t leave me alone with them.”
“I can’t work like this.”
“I’m sure Erwin would understand. I’ll tell him.” Levi offered walking away.
“Levi! No! Come back!”
“I told you mommy doesn’t want to stay with us.” Connie cried to Sasha.
“What? Of course, I want to be with you!” you reassured them. “I just don’t know what to do.” you mumbled to yourself.
“I’m hungry.” Jean said, still in your arms.
“Of course, you are.” Eren said, “that’s why you’re so f–“.
“Eren I swear to Erwin’s eyebrows if you finish that sentence, I’m going to throw you in the dungeons!” you snapped angrily.
Jean on the other side started to cry again knowing what Eren wanted to say. Eren started to cry silently too, looking at the ground.
“Sorry mommy.” Eren sobbed, “don’t be mad please.”
“You should apologise to Jean.” you said calmer.
You put Jean down and Eren hugged him and apologised shyly.
“That’s better! Now take each other’s hands and we’ll go found something to eat okay?”
They all nodded, you took Armin’s hand on one hand and Sasha’s on the other one. Eren surprisingly took Jean hand and you all went to the mess hall. Levi was already there with Erwin, with food for the kids.
“We thought that would help.” Erwin explained while the kids run towards the food. “There’s a tray for each one of you, so no need to fight.”
Erwin and Levi walked towards you and sighed.
“What do we do?” Erwin asked.
“I can’t work with them around. I also cannot take care of them alone. There’s eight of them!”
“Armin, Mikasa and Bertolt shouldn’t be a problem – they’re good,” Levi stated, “Jean and Eren would do everything you say. Sasha, Connie and Reiner… tire them until they're too exhausted to move.”
“I still can’t do that alone! You have to help me.”
“I have paperwork to do, and Erwin has commander things to do.”
“I wish I could help,” Erwin intervened, “but I can’t, I still have work to do and…”
“Erwin, it’s fine.” you said gently, “but Levi you cannot leave me alone.”
Erwin left after Levi finally agreed to help. You both sat down at the table.
“Oh no.” Levi sighed once he saw the mess they did while eating. “Stop eating with your hand and use the spoon.”
“Sorry daddy.” Jean apologised but kept eating with his hands.
“What did you call me?” Levi asked.
“Oh, it’s not like he never said it before.” you said.
Levi took Jean on his lap and started to feed him. Reiner, Bertolt and Armin were eating calmy, Sasha ate too fast while Connie was trying to protect his food from Sasha. Mikasa was feeding Eren because he gave his food to you.
“Eren I’m fine, you should eat.” you told him multiple times.
After lunch, they were all too excited and energetic unlike you and Levi.
“I’m too old for sh!t.” Levi told you.
“You kill titan for a living! This should easy.”
“Is it though?”
“Let’s just play with them a little until they get tired so they can sleep.”
The whole afternoon was spent playing hide and seek and tag. Which was not the wisest idea since Armin and Reiner ended hurt. Only a few scratches on their knees and elbows but that made you worried sick. After dinner in Levi office with the kids, they were starting to get tired.
“Mommy,” Mikasa called you by pulling your sleeve, “I want to sleep.”
“Me too!” Reiner said by sitting on your lap.
“A story!” Connie screamed excited which made all of them chant this.
“Alright! Alright! Do we have that kind of book in the library?” you asked Levi.
“No.”
“Well, I can invent a story – that’s not an issue.”
Levi and you sat on the bed and they all crawled on you and between. You started your story and very soon after, they all fell asleep.
“How was your day?” Levi asked you.
“Tiring. What about you?”
“It was fine. And it made me think…,” Levi paused, “never mind.”
“No, tell me.”
“Maybe we could have our own.” Levi shrugged.
“Is it something you want?” you asked.
“Is it something you want? Because if you do not want any, it’s fine too.”
“I don’t know… maybe?”
“We don’t have to talk about it now.”
“You’re right, but I want to talk about this. Someday.” you smiled.
After this little conversation, you both fell asleep. In the middle of the night, Levi woke up because someone was awake – Armin.
“Bathroom.” Armin said once Levi was awake.
Levi stood up and took Armin in his arms and went to the bathroom. After Armin finished, Levi helped him wash his hands and went back to bed. But before Levi could lay on his bed, Reiner woke up with tears in his eyes.
“No, don’t cry.” Levi warned him and took him out of the bed. “What’s wrong?”
“Nightmare.” Reiner confessed sobbing.
“It’s not real – it’s a dream. Go back to bed.” Levi said before going back to his bedroom, but Reiner stayed behind sobbing. Levi sighed before picking him up. “Stop crying, you don’t want to wake mommy, right?”
“No.”
“Fine then let’s go back to bed, alright?”
That was only the beginning of Levi’s night. After Reiner went back to sleep, it was Sasha’s turn to go to the bathroom.
“I knew it,” Levi said to himself, “I mean after all she ate, that was only a matter of time before she goes number two.”
Then it was Bertolt who had to pee. After him it was Connie who was a little thirsty. Mikasa had to go to the bathroom too. Only Eren did not wake up. When Levi finally went back to bed, Eren woke up.
“Don’t tell me you need to poop too.” Levi warned him tired.
“I want to sleep with mommy please.” Eren asked.
“No place, maybe another time, now sleep.”
—————
-          That one time you had to leave for an expedition
The next expedition was a short and simple one. Yet every squad leader had to be there, including you. You were obviously reluctant about it because of the kids.
“Who will take care of them?” you asked Levi.
“There are nurses. Don’t worry about it.”
The first few days, the kids were all sleeping with Levi and you but then, Levi told them to go and sleep in their bedroom because with them around, you could not do anything else than sleep. You promised to them that you would visit every night before they go to sleep and that night, you told them that you would not be here for a week or so.
“No!” Jean screamed hugging you, “don’t leave me please.” he begged on the verge of crying.
“Mama!” Armin, the youngest cried, rubbing his eyes. “don’t go.”
“I will be back very soon; you won’t even notice my absence.” you told them.
That night you proposed to have them back in bed with Levi and you so they would stop crying. The next morning, once it was time to leave, none of them wanted to let go of your legs.
“It’s fine, I’ll be back very soon.” you tried to calm them down. That did not work. “Fine I won’t go, let’s all go back to bed okay?” you said to them which made them stop crying and run to your bedroom.
Once they all left, you went back on your horse and left with the rest of the survey corps outside the walls. When the kids realised that you were not coming started to cry again and did not stop until they fell asleep. The nurses that took care of them were starting to get worried but after a few days, they started to play and eat again without any protest.
Once you were back, all the kids were waiting for you at the entrance of the wall. They were screaming “mommy!” when they saw you. Jean screamed “daddy!” when he saw Levi which made people around gasp. They did not know that these kids were in reality survey corps members. Sasha and Connie went on Hange’s horse while Armin and Bertolt were on Erwin’s. Jean and Reiner were with Levi while Mikasa and Eren were with you.
“We missed you a lot mommy!” Eren said happy to see you.
“I missed you too.”
For a week or two, the kids would not let go of you because of that expedition.
 —————
-          That one time you got mad at them.
The only time you got mad at them was when they all started to fight each other. Levi and you were doing paperwork outside because it was a sunny day and the kids wanted to play outside. You were peacefully reading your reports when they started to shout at each other. You were not worried about it because they were always shouting, but when you saw that they started to cry and push each other you quickly went over where they were.
“What’s happening here!” you screamed.
They all stopped except for Eren and Jean who were still fighting.
“Hey! Stop!” you yelled but none of them listen to you.
Before you could get mad, Levi took Eren in his arms which stopped the fight.
“What is wrong with you?” Levi reprimanded them. “What were you two thinking? You could’ve got hurt and you could’ve hurt your friends and worse of all, you weren’t listening to Y/N!”
Jean and Eren turned to you but you were already gone.
“Where’s mommy?” Jean asked shyly.
After Jean and Eren both apologised to each other, they went looking for you.
“Is mommy mad?” Eren asked.
“Yes.” Levi answered.
“She doesn’t love us anymore?” Jean asked with tears in his eyes.
“Of course, she does, now let’s find her and apologise.”
They could not find you anywhere. Even Levi did not know where to look. He asked Erwin and Hange but none of them saw you. Jean would not stop crying because you were not there.
“Mommy doesn’t love me anymore!” Jean kept saying.
At night when they all went into their bedroom, they found you on their bed.
“Mommy!” they all screamed happy but stopped on their way when they saw that you were not smiling.
“What happened today was unacceptable. I am disappointed.” you said. “I hope that won’t ever happen ever again.”
“Sorry.” they all apologised.
“Where were you?” Eren asked.
“Out, I needed some time alone.”
“Are you mad at me?” Eren cried.
“No… Not anymore, and I am not mad at you too Jean. But next time you do this, there will be consequences. Now go to sleep, all of you.” You stood up, ready to leave.
“No stories?” Reiner asked.
“Please.” they all asked with a pout that you just could not resist.
 —————
-          That on time Levi had to calm Eren down during a meeting.
That day, you had to leave to visit a family member who was going to give birth. You left without saying anything to the kids otherwise they would not have let you. Levi’s squad was responsible for the kids when none of you were available.
They were all running around when Eren fell from the top of the stairs.
“EREN!” Petra shouted petrified.
Eren started to cry, and he would not stop. The squad tried everything, but nothing would stop Eren’s tears.
“We have to bring him to the captain.” Eld said.
Eld took Eren and went to the meeting room. He knocked on the door and opened it just enough so Eren could go in.
“I want mommy!” Eren continued to cry.
Levi picked him up and put him on his lap.
“She’s busy today, what happened?” Levi asked him softly.
“I fell.” Eren sobbed.
“It’s fine, you can stop crying and tell mommy later that you acted all strong because you’re almost an adult now.”
“I’m a big boy now.” Eren admitted hugging Levi.
All the squad leaders were speechless in front of this because they never saw the captain acting like this before. He was so delicate and sweet towards Eren. Then the door opened again, and all the other kids barged in.
“I’m sorry captain, but they all wanted to check on Eren.” Petra apologised.
“It’s fine.” Levi said before putting Eren down.
The rest of the meeting was spent with the kids playing under the table, around Levi. Once you came back, you found Levi asleep on his bed with the kids around him. You tried to be as silent as possible, but Levi woke up.
“Hey, how was your day?” you asked him not without a kiss.
“Fine, and you?”
“Boring – you weren’t there.”
“Mommy!” Eren called you reaching out his arms.
“What happened to your knees?” you asked him when you picked him up.
“I fell but I didn’t cry.”
“Riight, because you’re so brave.” but Eren had already fell asleep again.

Books Are The Universal Language
Summary: Missing someone even though they are right there is one of the most miserable feelings you've ever felt. Good thing Harry knows how to ease the uncomfortable feeling in your chest, and read some poetry with you. Even if you don't understand it. Books are the universal language, after all, you just need to decipher them.
Warnings: crying, sad reader, fluff
If you like this, please like and reblog, it would help very much
And if someone has a request or an idea for a fic, please let me know it would really help.
-----------------------------------------------------
Ever since you were young, you loved reading. Even before you could read, you were always holding a book in hand, flipping the pages and babbling the words you thought were written on the pages, slightly wrinkled from your chubby toddler fingers.
Your parents always joked that they would have to borrow money from the bank, just so they can afford all the books you were going to read.
And two weeks before you first went to school, they made a huge bookshelf on one wall of your room, getting it ready for the massive income of books, which they knew were coming as soon as you could read properly.
That didn’t take very long.
The first shelf was filled up by the time you went into the fourth grade. It was filled with books like Harry Potter, the first diary of a wimpy kid book, Percy Jackson, or The Hobbit.
In the following years, you slowly filled up your shelves, mainly with fantasy novels, such as hunger games, the rest of the Harry Potter, and many more.
The shift in your reading style came when you accidentally stumbled upon an old torn copy of Pride and Prejudice in your school library.
You were about 16, and you had a free period, which you decided to spend in the school library. There weren’t many people there, so you didn’t have to cover in some dark corner of the room. You didn’t like reading where everyone can see you.
You went to your usual shelve with fantasy, and browsed for a little bit. Your neck started hurting from keeping your head tilted to one side when you picked up a random book. You went to sit on a little couch between the shelves with encyclopedias and history books when the book fell from your hands.
You cursed silently before you crouched down to pick it up. It slid under the metal construction of the shelves, and you had to stick your hand into the many cobwebs that pilled there over the years.
You swept your hand under the shelves for a few moments, before you lost your patience and looked underneath. You finally saw the fallen book and quickly picked it up. You went to stand up when another book caught your eye. It must’ve fallen underneath the shelve and no one bothered to pick it up.
You got it out, and gently shook it to get the layered dust from the cover.
Oh great, a romance book. You rolled your eyes. You didn’t care for romance books at all. You had the first copy of Twilight in your home library, but you never read it whole. You got about 4 chapters in before you put it away. It wasn’t exciting.
Back when it came out, everyone in your class read it, and recommended it to you. You went behind your parent’s backs to buy it with your saved-up pocket money, ready to dive into the romance genre of literature. But the excitement left as quickly as it came.
You went to put the book back when you decided to start reading it for the fun of it. You’ve never seen the movie, only heard that it was pretty good. You put the random fantasy book back into its place, and sat down with the pride and prejudice book.
You quickly read the synopsis, thinking it sounded quite cheesy. Despite the initial feeling of boredom, you quickly got through the not-so-interesting parts in the beginning.
By the time the bell rang, indicating that the free period ended, you were absolutely loving the book. You didn’t want to stop reading. you quickly looked to the back and the front of the book, looking for the library’s stamp.
It happened quite a lot that the books didn’t have a stamp, meaning you could take them without anyone realizing.
You quickly stuffed the book into your backpack and hurried to your next class.
Ever since you found the magic of romance novels, you almost completely stopped reading fantasy novels. Sure, you liked to read them, but only if there was more romance than fantasy.
Romance novels completely took over your shelves, and by the time you were 24, your home library was full of them.
When you were moving into your current flat when you were 22, the worst part of moving was definitely transporting all of the books you owned. You couldn’t find the right apartment for a long time, looking for a perfect-sized wall to fit all of your precious books.
You eventually found it, a few minutes away from the center of London. It was everything you wanted in a flat. It was spacious, it had tall floor-to-ceiling windows, and it had a bedroom in the attic of the building, so it was very cozy.
You were never in a relationship, never even held hands romantically, and the only romance in your life were the characters, written on the pages of your beloved books.
You never sought out a relationship. Sure, you went on a few dates, but they all ended catastrophically when you realized that the person sitting in front of you wasn’t what you wanted.
You had high expectations from the books. You thought about lowering your expectations many times before, but your friends told you that it was good. That you knew what you wanted and you shouldn’t settle for less.
And as much as you knew they were right, you didn’t think that there was anyone out there, who would live up to these expectations.
......
You worked in a little café in the center of the city, where you made coffee and baked goods. It has been your favorite spot since you were 7, when your parents, took you there when you were in London for the very first time.
It was located in a secluded little street. The cars weren’t allowed there, so the only noise you could really hear were people chattering, heels clicking, and people moving around on bicycles.
Your parents met there, and also had their first date there, so it was a very special place, that meant a lot to both of them. When you told them you were going to work there, both of them got very sentimental and proceeded to tell you about their first meeting as if you’d never heard it before.
A few months after you started working there, the place became special to you as well. You met Harry.
It was a slow day. The café was pretty much empty throughout the whole day. It was raining cats and dogs, and the streets were empty. Only an idiot would go outside in this kind of weather. You were working alone, your coworker Jen called in that morning, that she got sick.
Normally, working alone would bother you. But not that day. Only about two people came in, getting coffee to go, and heating up frozen fingers for a few minutes, before setting up on their journey once again.
It was peaceful, you baked some cupcakes that day, and sat in comfortable seats, reading a book and scrolling through TikTok.
The bell above the door rang into the silence as it quickly opened. A hooded figure walked in with a messed-up umbrella, cursing quietly.
It was a man
Water dripped from his jacket, his longish hair falling over his forehead, his face covered with what looked like a bandana, probably to cover his face from the cold wind whipping around the outside.
“Hello, are you okay?” You stood up and greeted. You felt bad for the guy, but he got what he deserved, going outside in weather like that.
“Hello, would it be alright if I hid from the rain in here?”
“Of course, do you want anything, coffee, tea, hot chocolate?” you asked, quickly closing the book and moving behind the counter.
“A tea would be great, thank you,” he spoke as he typed something into his phone.
He tossed the phone on the couch beside him and took off his drenched bandana. That’s when you got a good look on his face. He seemed very familiar.
“You can sit down you know,” you smiled and nodded towards the couch where his phone landed when he tossed it. He looked at you, the couch, and his drenched clothes.
“I think it would be best if I stayed like this, I wouldn’t want to dirty anything. Besides, I will only stay for about an hour, my friend is on his way to come and pick me up,”
“Not in this weather, the canalization is already full, the main roads and bridges are blocked because there is too much water on them,” you tapped your phone, where you opened up the news. The stranger sighed annoyed.
“God, I should’ve brought my gym clothes with me, maybe I would have something to change into,” he mumbled.
You didn’t want him to stand there until he stopped dripping water all around the place.
“Hey, my coworker has some spare sweatpants in the back, you look the same size as him, maybe a bit smaller. I have a sweatshirt in the back and we also have some towels, I can bring them out so you can change into them and you can sit down,” you offered.
“I wouldn’t want to be a bother, I’m sure you have a lot of work,” He rubbed the back of his neck.
“Do you see anyone around here?” you deadpanned. He shook his head.
“No work, no bother,” you quickly ran into the back room and picked up your coworker Andrew’s sweatpants, making a mental note that you will tell him later, and wash them for him too. You quickly grabbed your sweatshirt from your locker, and some clean towels from the bathroom cabinet.
The stranger was in the same place he was in when you left. You put some towels on the ground around him, so he can put his jacket off without it wetting the whole floor. He then took his shoes off, and you pointed towards the bathroom door and handed him the spare clothes and two towels. He smiled at you, and quickly walked towards the door. He slipped in and gently closed the doors behind him.
You walked up towards the counter and quickly fixed him up a cup of some chamomile tea, to get him a bit warm.
He came after a few minutes, wearing the newly borrowed clothes.
You could see him better now. He was incredibly handsome with beautiful features. His tall figure towered over you as he came closer. He was still holding his own clothes, still wet but not soaking the floor anymore.
“Thank you, I really appreciate it,” he smiled and hang his clothes on the hangers beside the main entrance. You watched him, still not being able to point out why he seemed so familiar.
“I’m sorry, but you seem so familiar, I just can’t exactly pinpoint why,” You blurt out, and the beautiful stranger chuckled.
“Not to brag or anything, but my song did win a Grammy,” he smiled charmingly. You gaped at him, searching your mind for any mention of him.
“Oh, Harry Styles,” you cheered when you realized, and he nodded.
“Well it’s nice to meet you, my name is (Y/n),” You reached out, and shook his hand.
“So, Harry Styles, here is your tea,” You smiled, as you placed the tray with his tea and honey on a table carefully. He smiled at you gratefully, and took a sip of it. You went to leave, and do your own thing before Harry stopped you.
“Hey, if you don’t have any work, do you mind sitting with me? I would like to talk to you and thank you properly,” You smiled at him brightly, and sat down in the chair opposite of him.
......
That was two years ago. In the long time since then, you and Harry only became closer. You met his friends, his sister, and his mother on a couple of occasions. He also met your friends, and one of your parents.
After that faithful rainy day, Harry also thanked you for helping him, by taking you out for a dinner at a very luxurious restaurant in London, which you could never afford with your pay.
You also developed a huge crush on him. Being the helpless romantic you were, you daydreamed of what being in a relationship with him would look like.
Whenever you read a book, the characters on the pages would shift, until they took the faces of you and Harry. You imagined how falling in love with him would look like in many different settings, in many of your favorite tropes.
You loved talking to people about your love for books, but never found a way to start that conversation with Harry. The two of you had completely different tastes in literature. You couldn’t even stand the thought of reading poetry, while Harry greatly enjoyed it.
Harry, on the other hand, didn’t like reading romance and YA novels. You made him read one of your favorites, and he, as kindly as one can, told you it was boring to him. It was weird when you realized that the man could watch romantic movies until the end of time.
Your different tastes in books didn’t bother you throughout your friendship
Until now.
......
You hadn’t seen Harry in the past few weeks. When you finally got back together and hung out, you felt very disconnected from him, very far.
You didn’t feel close to him like something was missing.
At first, you thought the unpleasant feeling would leave quickly. But after three weeks, you were extremely confused.
You basically moved into his apartment for a few weeks, after his constant whining of ‘I don’t want you to go,’. You stayed there for two weeks but, nothing changed.
You were lounging on his couch, a book in your hand, when Harry told you some of his friends were coming over. You helped him prepare the food, and the drinks, and clean up the living room a tiny bit.
“Thanks for the help petal,” he smiled, and wrapped his arm around your shoulder, gently pulling you towards him.
“Of course, I’m here whenever you need me,” you answered, grinning up at him. He looked like he wanted to say something, but a ring of the bell beat him to it. He excitedly skipped over to the front door, clearly excited to finally see all of his friends.
“Hi guys,” Harry greeted and the small group of his friends pilled into his living room.
“Hey Haz, looking good,” someone said, and they were right.
Even in sweatpants and an old band tee-shirt, he still looked like the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen. His hair was quite long, clearly, he was overdue on his hairdresser’s appointment. His cheeks rosy, from the hurried cleaning, and vacuuming.
The group of friends fell into an easy conversation. You felt out of place between them. They talked about anything, and everything, but you couldn’t focus on any of it. A deep feeling f unsettlement set inside of your stomach, and you couldn’t do anything without it.
You watched as Harry talked to one of his friends, James, the conversation light and airy, You couldn’t help but feel jealous.
Your conversations didn’t feel like that, not anymore. There was a strain, something that made it feel different than usual.
The feeling in your stomach grew a lot more intense, as something in the conversation made Harry laugh so much, that he threw his head back, and clutched his stomach. You needed to get out of there.
You wanted to quickly slip away, but decided against it, knowing that once Harry realizes you disappeared, he would go full-on panic mode. You walked towards him and gently tapped him on the shoulder a few times.
“Har,” He turned around, smile fading from his face when he saw your distressed expression.
“What is it petal?”
“Nothing, just going out, need a bit of a breather,” you explained. Harry frowned, his beautiful face creasing, and making his soft wrinkled more visible.
“Petal it’s late, are you sure you want to go out at this hour?”
“Yeah, you have my location, if anything happens I’ll let you know, and besides, I’ll go with my car so, I’ll be okay,” you trailed off.
“Alright, just be careful,” he squeezed your shoulder, and turned around to go back to his friends.
You quickly got your car keys, got your hoodie, and slipped your feet into a random pair of tennis shoes.
The apartment’s garage was empty when you walked in. When you momentarily moved in with Harry, he offered you one of his many parking spots in the underground.
You got into your car, and drove out of the garage. The streets of London were quiet, with only a few people walking around. You drove around for a while, trying to calm down your breathing.
You drove with no destination in mind. After about 20 minutes, you found yourself stopping in an empty parking garage of a local Tesco.
The parking lot was nearly empty.
You rested your head against the headrest of your seat and sighed sadly. You didn’t know what to do, why did it feel so different all of a sudden, why didn’t it feel as easy-going, and carefree as before?
You sighed, and put your head in your hands, trying to calm down a bit. Your eyes fell on a copy of a book in the little compartment in your door. It was a copy of Harry’s favorite poetry book. You bought it for him a few weeks ago, back when he spilled all of his coffee over his old one. You forgot to give it to him, as it slipped from your mind.
You dreaded reading poetry, didn’t matter how old or new it was. You just didn’t understand it. The sentences often times didn’t make any sense at all, and especially the old pieces, the ones Harry liked reading the most.
Now, as you sat in your car, you contemplated opening the brand new copy of old poetry, and reading. Maybe this would make you feel closer to your friend. You loved connecting with people through books. Recommending, or talking about favorite chapters, you loved hearing people talk about their favorite passages from books.
But considering you and Harry liked completely different genres of literature, you never got to connect with Harry in that way. If you could bite down, get through, and understand the words, written in his favorite book, you could talk to him, and open a whole lot of new topics for conversation.
......
All guests left. Harry’s apartment filled with silence as the front door closed behind his friends. Harry walked into the living room, and started cleaning up. He didn’t get far into it, before he worriedly looked over at the clock, hanging in the kitchen. It was 12 pm, and you still haven’t come back.
Harry shook his head, and went back to cleaning. After around 7 minutes, he dropped everything he was holding on the coffee table, and pulled out his phone. He clicked on the ‘Find my’ app, and clicked your name. (Sorry if you don’t have an iPhone, or if you don’t like them) He waited a few seconds for your location to update. He furrowed his brows, as the map flashed and showed your location. You were at a parking lot in front of the local Tesco.
‘Is she alright?’ Harry questioned and quickly called you. You didn’t pick up, it went straight into the voicemail.
Harry thought for a while, before he picked up a hoodie, keys, and stuffed his pockets with tissues, and a random chocolate bar, before he left.
He noticed you acted quite weird in the past few weeks. He wanted to ask you, but you always seemed so far away. He knew he acted a bit distant, mainly because he was writing a song about you.
His feelings for you developed quickly. He fell quicker than ever before, and he didn’t know what to do about it. He didn’t fully realize it until he was sitting in the recording booth at 3 am, writing out his feelings. He locked himself in the studio, finishing the song, in just 3 weeks.
Realizing he was in love with you, without having to see you every day was easy, but when you came to his place one night when he was finally free after almost a month, he knew he was fucked.
His heartbeat quickened, and it was nearly impossible to speak just one sentence without blushing, or stuttering. He quickly realized that hanging out with you, now, that he acknowledged his feelings was going to be a lot harder than he anticipated.
......
Harry pulled into the Tesco parking lot just 8 minutes later, and parked his car a few rows away from your car, not to startle you, so you wouldn’t think it was a random person parking right beside you in the middle of the night.
He walked towards your car, trying to think of how to let his presence be known without scaring the absolute shit out of you. He walked to the back of your car, and gently tapped the back glass, using the familiar pattern only he used.
When he did it a few times, Harry stepped towards the passenger's side of the car and opened the door up, just to find you crying in the driver's seat.
.......
“Flower what’s wrong?” Harry quickly hopped into the passenger seat of your car. Your eyes widened as you watched him close the doors, and get your breathing under control.
“Tell me what happened,” he whispered and wiped your tears away. You shook your head, feeling stupid for crying over a dumb thing. You sniffled and puffed out a harsh breath.
You spent the last few hours trying to decipher, and understand the nonsensical sentences written on the paper in front of you. At first, it went well. Everything you didn’t understand, you googled and moved through the first poem quickly. But as you got further and further, you realized that you totally forgot to focus on what the author actually meant.
You went to the beginning, and started again, only now realizing, that you didn’t understand. Again. You tried to stay calm, breathing heavily, and trying to stay as calm as possible, because it would be really hard to calm down once you started crying.
After only about 2 minutes of quick breaths and hiccups, stray tears rolled down your cheeks, and that was the last straw. Frustration and sadness seeped to the surface, and you couldn’t control your breathing anymore.
More tears filled your eyes, and sobs racked through your body. Your breathing exercises didn’t work, and you were left crying your heart out alone in the middle of the parking lot at night.
“C’mon, let me help you, but you need to tell me what is going on, yeah?” He rubbed his palm up and down your back, bringing your mind and soul comfort you so badly needed right at that moment.
“I j-just got frustrated, and sad bec-because I wanted to read poetry, but I don’t understand it,” you blurt out, a little bit embarrassed.
“Flower, but you hate poetry,”
“I know,” you snapped. Harry pulled back a bit, which made new tears spurt into your eyes.
“I’m sorry, sorry,” you sobbed out, reaching out to hold his hand.
“Okay, tell me what’s wrong, you’re acting very, very weird lovie,” Harry reached out, and wiped some tears away.
“It’s stupid, and embarrassing,”
“No love, if it upsets you this much, it’s not stupid, I won’t laugh at you,” He looked into your eyes, not breaking eye contact.
“I’ve been feeling very weird these past few weeks, even if we were together every single day, I’ve missed you so much, it’s this bad feeling inside my chest, you just feel so, so far away,” you explained tearfully, head resting against the headrest of the seat.
“Oh flower, you should’ve said something,”
“But what would you have done? I don’t know what to do, I just feel bad all the time,” you squeezed his hand.
“And, I was a bit jealous,” you mumbled the last part, and Harry raised his eyebrows.
“Of who?”
“James,” you mumbled out, cheeks heating up in embarrassment. Harry chuckled lowly, and you glared at him.
“Not a bad laugh flower, just curious why you were jealous of James of all people,”
“Because, in the last few weeks, I felt as if our conversations were strained, not as smooth as they used to be, and I missed that, I missed talking comfortably without any strains and stuff,” You sniffled out, happy to finally have the burden off your chest.
“Oh flower, come here,” he opened his arms, inviting you to sit with him. You pushed your seat back, and carefully climbed through the center console, and sat in his lap.
His arms went immediately around your waist, squeezing gently. You buried your face into his neck, breathing in his scent, and relishing in the closeness.
“Now, also tell me about this little thing,” He reached out into the driver's seat, and took the poetry book that laid there.
“Well, I originally bought it for you, when you spilled coffee over your old one, but I forgot to give it to you, and today, in my desperate attempt to stop feeling like shit, I wanted to read it, to feel closer to you, but as you could probably guess, it didn’t go as planned,” you shrugged.
“I thought that maybe if we had at least one book in common, there would be a whole bunch of new conversation topics, that we could talk about,”
“God, you are so sweet my flower, but you didn’t need to do that,” he kissed the side of your head.
“I just thought like it would be a good idea,” You cuddled up closer to him.
“If you want, we can read it together, I could explain the meaning of each poem to you, so you can know why I like them so much,” he suggested, and you nodded your head eagerly.
“That sounds nice,” you whispered out, and watched as Harry opened the book on the first page.
You spent the rest of the night in your car, reading and talking about poetry, cuddling under a blanket you fished out from the backseat of your car.
When the sun peeked out from below the horizon, you were both barely awake, sleepily mumbling about various topics that came to your mind.
“It’s 6 am, we should go home, we can sleep until lunch if you want,” Harry said, as he stretched out his arms in front of him.
“Do we want breakfast? The Tesco opened a few minutes ago,” you asked, as you nodded towards the building you were parked in front of.
“Sure, let’s go,”
“Alright, my treat,” you giggled, as you jumped out of his lap, legs wobbly, and weak from sitting for too long.
......
You were pretty sure you were the first customers in the supermarket. You saw the workers open the cash registers, and cleaning ladies mopping up the floors before the early raisers came in to buy their breakfast. As you walked towards the entrance of the Tesco, you walked around the small shops that shared one building with the large supermarket.
There was an office of a traveling agency. Harry pulled you towards the glass, which was filled with fliers advertising many destinations you could travel to.
“Let’s go on a trip, somewhere, just the two of us,” Harry suggested, and your eyes bulged out of your skull.
“Where, when?” You spluttered out.
“We can leave whenever, even tomorrow if you want to, we could fly by some cheap airline so we could leave as soon as possible,” Harry thought out loud.
“Sure yeah, let’s do it,”
“I’ll pay, you will pay for my breakfast, I will pay for our vacation, think of it as a bonding experience,” he grinned. Before you could protest, Harry already pulled you towards the shelves with baked goods.
--------------------
Thank you for reading my work, I really appreciate that you took your time out of your day.
This one was supposed to be a bit longer, but I somehow ended up splitting it into two separate works, because the second half took a different direction than I thought it would. Anyway, I'm working on my first smut, so that should come out in the close future, it will take place on a vacation, but it has nothing to do with this work, but I'm super excited, so I hope you like it.
Please send some feedback if you have any, like, reblog, and if anyone would be interested in a taglist, let me know.
Take care <3
