the horrible thing about if ted lasso eventually comes back for a surprise fourth season is that i'm going to bounce right back to believing that tedbecca is the endgame plan despite the show creators literally saying multiple times that tedbecca was never the endgame plan 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭

Can you please write jealous Zuko? It can be however you like😊
a/n: i love jealous zuko! however this ended up being more angsty than i intended😭 hope you enjoy!
summary: a party at the palace leads to a deep revelation for zuko
Tumblr media
He was miserable.
The palace didn’t throw parties very often these days, but the recent conquering of another Earth colony was deemed a call for celebration, and so all of the noble families in the Capital City were invited to attend. A grand feast was held and praises were showered upon Ozai throughout the night. It was one of the rare times Zuko didn’t have to worry about his father’s wrath, and so he should have been enjoying himself.
But he couldn’t, not when he could see that across the way another boy was flirting with you right in front of him.
You were Zuko’s everything- his childhood best friend that he’d always held harbored feelings for. During his banishment he thought of you constantly, and upon his arrival he immediately asked you to be his girlfriend. You were sweet and friendly, easily approachable and always able to cheer him up despite his moodiness, you were perfect. And apparently this other boy could see this too.
You smile out of politeness and nod along to the boy’s rambling story about his fire bending skills and high IQ, not very interested in listening but too nice to brush him off. It infuriates Zuko to see someone else take advantage of your kindness, and he’s unable to just sit back and watch any longer.
A harsh hand lands upon the boy’s shoulder, startling both of you in the process. Zuko’s eyes are blazing with fury, his palm scorching the fabric of the boy’s robes and scaring the spirits out of him in the process.
“Can’t you take a hint? She doesn’t want to talk to you!” the Prince bellow angrily, prompting a few guests nearby to turn their heads curiously towards the commotion. A bit embarrassed at the sudden attention, you gently pull Zuko’s hand away and drag him out to the gardens before he can escalate the situation any further. The last thing you need is for him to cause a scene at his father’s party.
“What?” Zuko says defensively as you wordlessly walk through the palace hallways. “I was helping you!”
“You were acting jealous again,” you chide gently.
“No I wasn’t!” He argues defensively only to shrink under your pointed gaze. “…I was.”
“I love you, Zuko, but I don’t love how jealous you can get sometimes. I’m your girlfriend, don’t you trust me?”
“Of course I do!” He interjects quickly, almost offended at the notion.
“Then what is it? Why do you act this way?”
Zuko is silent, his eyes casted sullenly to the floor as you patiently wait for his answer. You take his hands in your own and give them a reassuring squeeze to let him know you’re there for him, and the act seems to coax him out of his stupor.
“I’m afraid you’ll change your mind about being with me, and once the right guy comes along you’ll realize you’re better off without me,” he admits quietly, almost ashamed to voice the thought out loud.
“Zuko…” you utter sadly, heartbroken at the fact that he could even believe such a thing.
“Why do you want to be with a boy who’s been exiled from his own country before? Whose own father burned his face? Who’s so messed up in every way possible?”
Gently carefully cupping his face in your hands, you tilt his head upward to meet your sincere gaze. His eyes are glossy with tears he refuses to let fall, and your heart aches for the poor boy before you. You wish you could take away all of his hurt in agony, but you can’t, so you do your best to take away his insecurity instead.
“I wish you could yourself the way I see you,” you tell him lovingly. “You are more than enough for me, more than I could ever ask for. You’re strong, you’re brave, you’re smart. You’re you. I love you, Zuko. No one’s ever going to get into the way of that.”
He says nothing in response but simply yanks you into his arms for the tightest hug you’ve ever possibly received. You know he isn’t the best at words or emotions, but his embrace conveys that he is grateful for every word to come out of your mouth.
He knows he may be jealous at times, but he also knows that he doesn’t have to be anymore.
Because you’re not going anywhere.

MEANT TO BE ❤️‍🔥
Tumblr media
No outbreak!Joel Miller x f!reader
Summary: You and Joel seemed you were meant to be, but he broke your heart thinking he was doing you a favor. You're back in town and Tommy ends up inviting you to his brother's birthday party
(I don't know if this will be a series or not, but enjoy it ❤️)
Warnings: screwed up timeline (no outbreak but the story takes place nowadays, Joel's in his mid/late forties, Sarah is in her late teens/early twenties), age gap (reader is in her mid/late 20s because well, she's me), angst, hurt, breakups, broken hearts, two idiots in love, fluff
A/N: I don't know besties, this is just a very specific scenario that got stuck with me for DAYS because all I do is daydream I'm Joel's housewife and well, I had to write it down eventually because just imagining it wasn't enough I had to share. Also, this is extremely self-inserted so I'm sorry if you guys don't like it but I deserve to be happy with Joel 😭
3.2k words
Tumblr media
"So, you're breaking up with me Joel? Is that it?" You asked him, pacing the living room, trying to hold back your tears and not let the anxiety get the best of you just yet, and instead, look at the situation with a rational attitude. Joel couldn't possibly be breaking up with you, not after the time you spent together, - a short one, you had to admit, but it was enough to see you two were meant to be together. Everyone seemed to agree. His brother was nothing but nice and sweet to you, sometimes even protective of you, as if you were his sibling and not Joel, his daughter was thrilled to see her dad in a relationship after a lifetime of loneliness, even if you didn't see each other very often, only when Sarah was home from her school breaks, always making Joel the proudest dad to see her impeccable grades, a clear reflection of the scholarship she got, she was always so friendly, treating well the woman his dad loved, because she knew he deserved to be happy.
And your family? They really liked Joel too. Your parents admired him for being so hardworking and successful in his business, the way he managed to raise a daughter by himself and your grandmother simply loved Joel. She was a supporter of your relationship from the beginning, always telling you to ignore any mean comments you might get just because he was older than you or anything like that, she just loved to see how good Joel was to you, how happy he made you and what a gentleman he was whenever he visited your family, despite being nervous and blushing slightly like a young boy. And for that, your grandma always baked him cookies or cakes, just a small, sweet way to thank him for being so good to you.
So it came as a shock, when he broke up with you.
"Yes, Y/N I'm breaking up with you" he said simply and looked down, his heart clenched and he felt so upset to be letting you go, but he knew he had to, you had been offered a great job, a great opportunity, high salary and you couldn't just stay with him, living a small town housewife life, you had so much potential, you were so pretty and full of life, Joel didn't want to trap you there, you deserved better than that, you deserved to be successful and free, and not with an old guy like him, Joel didn't have the same education you did and he felt bad about it, he would never want to embarrass you because of it.
"You and I are never gonna work, we had our fun, it was nice, but you want to live your life and I've already loved through all that. I've been married and I'm not marrying you, Y/N. You want kids and I don't want any more kids, we're incompatible, can't you see that?" He said "just take your job and go live your life, think of us as an adventure and nothing else…"
You swallowed and took one step forward, grabbing his shirt and making him look at you "w-was I just an adventure to you?" You needed to know the truth, it didn't feel like just an adventure to you at least, it felt like true love, intense and real. You thought Joel was the real deal, you thought that maybe you found each other and you would stay together, of course the opportunity you received was good, but you were ready to give it all up. You'd never thought of your life together as something bad, you liked the simple, you liked the calm quiet evenings with Joel, you liked waiting for him with dinner ready after a long day of work, and all that because you loved Joel and up until then you assumed he loved you too. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, his hand running through his hair as he sighed
"Yes, you were an adventure, you were a hot young girl giving me your attention and your body, I enjoyed it a lot at first, but now it's just getting old" he sighed, hating himself for breaking your heart, but he also knew that was the only way you would leave him behind and start living your life. He was lying, he would marry you, he had actually already bought a ring, a very simple one though, he wished he could buy you something better, but he had gone with the cheapest option and now he felt ashamed of it.
"Just… don't make this too hard on the two of us, leave and take the job, you will be happier that way" Joel turned his back at you and waited until he heard you slamming the door. He sighed and tried blinking back his tears, he hated to seem weak and vulnerable around whoever it was.
•••
Eight months had passed ever since you broke up with Joel, or rather Joel broke up with you. Eight months you'd left Austin behind and moved to a bigger city, got into a better-paid job and made more money. Eight months you were earning well but you were feeling miserable, because you were away from your family, your friends and the man you loved, even if he didn't love you back, even if you were nothing but an adventure to him, you still missed him everyday.
It wasn't just the sex - although that party took a heavy toll on you, as it was so intense, good and hot. You had never been fucked properly until Joel Miller fucked you, that was for sure. But you missed the everyday with him. The domesticity with him, the evenings spent together, the lazy weekends you would stay in his bed, just cuddling, sleeping, fucking and doing it all over again. You missed how his big, rough hands would hold you at night, how you would snuggle closer looking for his warmth, or how you'd play with his hair as Joel rested his head on your lap whenever he watched some cheesy action movie.
Yes, the money was good, you couldn't deny it was good being able to pay for your expenses and also save money and also spoil yourself to clothes, shoes, restaurants and anything else really, that part was great, but you would be lying if you said you wouldn't trade that for a happy life with Joel in a heartbeat; you hated to be still in love with him, he didn't deserve your love, you knew that. He had treated you just like an adventure, like an ordinary affair he could enjoy as he pleased and then discard you once he got tired of it. Still, it puzzled you how genuine he seemed, how caring and lovely he was towards you, how he actually made you believe he loved you. You felt cheated, tricked, and embarrassed to think you were so easy to fool like Joel had done to you.
One of the perks of your job, was able to take a few short trips to your hometown every couple of months, it was good to revisit your family, especially after your grandmother fell ill and you felt the need to see her as much as you could, but with those trips back to town always brought your fear of encountering Joel.
You didn't know how you'd react to seeing him again, maybe you would feel emotional? Or sad? Would your heart still beat fast? Probably a mix of those all.
You shook your head wanting to push those thoughts aside and got ready to enter the clothes store downtown when you heard someone calling your name. You knew that voice, but thought maybe you were just confused, but still, you turned around and saw as a smiley Tommy Miller walked towards you
"Y/N hey… you look great! Nice seeing you?" He was definitely the friendly brother.
"Hey Tommy, I missed you. How've you been?"
"Good.." he placed his hand on his hips - very similar to his brother - and the two of you made some small talk, catching up on things as you hadn't seen each other in nearly a year. "So listen… it's Joel's birthday today, I don't know if you remember" you nodded with a sad smile "and well, I'm throwing him a party tonight, maybe you should show up, I know he was a dick to you, but I'm sure he didn't mean it, he misses you a lot" you bit your lips and shrugged softly, and Tommy didn't need to say anything else. He just hugged you goodbye and told you again how nice it was to see you.
•••
"You did what?" Joel asked with annoyance and shock as his brother stood in his kitchen, a bottle of beer in hand as he placed the plastic bag with a few things for Joel's party that night. Tommy blew the air out of his mouth and scratched the back of his neck "what? You like her, I mean, no, you love her, Joel, so I thought you'd appreciate it if she showed up, it would be like a nice present to you after all" he shrugged simply as it made perfect sense in his mind. Joel, on the other hand, couldn't believe how stupid his brother was. How could he simply invite you as if nothing had gone on between the two of you.
"First you simply plan a party without even asking me, inviting a bunch of people I don't even know-"
"Because you have no friends…" Tommy interrupted and it made Joel's blood boil, he gritted his teeth and took a deep breath
"What I am saying is that I didn't want a party and now I will have to face a party I didn't want and possibly with the presence of a girl whose heart I broke and-"
"You broke her heart because you are a moron" Tommy shrugged again and folded his arms "you are a real big fat moron who can't see shit even if it's hanging in front of you! You love her and she loves you, and don't give me that pathetic talk about you not wanting to trap her because I know you bought her a fucking ring, Joel! A ring! And if you had proposed she'd be here, either planning the things for your wedding or you'd be already married, and don't start with the shitty baby talk either because you practically drool when you see her holding a kid, I'm sure if she asked you'd be on your second Miller kid right now!" Tommy told his brother, running out of patience at how stubborn his older brother was "so yeah, I invited Y/N and I doubt she'll come because you are a dick and you don't deserve her attention, in fact you don't even deserve this party, I was just trying to do something nice for you, so I'm sorry I'm such a terrible brother" Tommy groaned and went upstairs.
Joel didn't want to admit it, but he did spend the whole day checking his phone every five minutes to see if he'd get any messages from you. Joel was a man to receive and give phone calls, he didn't like texting, but most people insisted on doing that so he had to surrender, even his daughter would rather text than call, which Joel hated but he had to do it eventually. On your birthday, Joel spent the whole day battling if he should text you or not, on one hand he didn't want to simply pretend he had forgotten about your special day; on the other hand he didn't want to make things weird between the two of you, well, more like, more weird. What was he supposed to say?
"Hey babe, happy birthday 🎈 I know I said you were just an adventure but I miss you"
No, that'd be too awkward, so eventually he went to bed that day and ended up not texting you.
Another thing Joel didn't also want to admit was how he had showered, applied some cologne and put on the flannel shirt you always told him looked good in him before the party started. Fortunately, his argument with Tommy didn't change any of his plans and in the evening people started to arrive. Joel smiled politely, made some small talk, thanked people for the gifts but he kept glancing at the door frequently, always in hopes to see you walking in. He felt so stupid for even expecting that, so he tried focusing on his party. He saw the girls his brother had invited but didn't care about any of them; they all chatted and giggled and Joel watched it from afar as if he were an outsider at his own birthday party. Joel grabbed a beer and walked outside, sitting by the front steps and watched as the hours passed by and people eventually began leaving the party. He just enjoyed his own presence, knowing you wouldn't come, clearly you'd never come again and he had to face that, at the same time he silently thought of what his life had been like and what was left for him to do in the future, when a voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Joel?" You called him, hesitantly at first, as you swallowed and looked around, it was kind of crazy to show up at your ex's birthday party after he dumped you in a cruel way like he did, but you also felt like you had to do it, ever since Tommy had invited you, something in your heart begged and screamed for you to go see Joel even if it was the last time.
When he saw you, his eyes widened, he didn't trust them at first thinking it was just a trick of his longing imagination, but as you walked towards him, he could see you were real. And you looked gorgeous, making that fool old man's heart beat fast.
"Darlin'..." He said but you placed your index finger gently against his lips, the way his beard tickled you brought a warmth within and you felt like you could melt at that moment.
"I'm here just to wish you a happy birthday" you said with a sad smile and handed him a bag. Joel frowned softly, clueless to what it was but a soft smile appeared on his face as he saw it was his watch. He had forgotten about it as it had been so long since the last time he saw it.
"Remember your watch stopped working after we jumped in the pool on the last fourth of July we spent together? I had it fixed but then we bro-" you interrupted yourself "anyway, I know it's been a while but it's yours"
"Thank you darlin' I don't even know what to say… it's already a gift you're here tonight" Joel could swear he was blushing and that embarrassed him, he was a grown man and shouldn't be acting like that, but still, there he was.
"Did you get the cake?" You questioned him curiously and only then Joel noticed you had a second bag in hands
"I forgot" he rubbed the back of his neck and you laughed softly, that was just so Joel it felt kind of stupid.
"So this is yours too…" you offered him the second to which he grabbed it even more puzzled. Two presents? Joel Miller was a simple man, and quite shy, he didn't know how to act properly when he was given gifts, let alone two in a row and especially when it came from you.
It was his turn to laugh when he found a box with cupcakes inside. He raised his eyes from them and smiled at you, taking you by the hand with no warning and sitting you next to him, on the front step.
He helped himself to one and insisted for you to take another, and even if you should have just wished him a happy birthday and driven back home, you obliged and took a small bite of yours, and that cupcake was indeed really good.
After the cupcakes were long gone, you and Joel still caught up on everything: he told you about his job and you told him about yours; you asked him about Sarah and he asked you about your grandmother's health, just random, ordinary things like it should be between two people who once knew everything about each other and now spent long enough apart to step on eggshells around each other. Though the party had pretty much ended, Tommy's playlist was still at full steam inside the house and when Joel recognized that guitar strumming he smiled, the lyrics coming back to him as it took him back to one of his favorite moments with you.
"Listen, it's our song"
"What?" You frowned softly "our song? What do you mean?" You questioned curiously not exactly knowing where he wanted to get.
"Californication, it's our song" he blushed softly and felt upset to see that maybe you didn't remember the summer night you spent listening to music sitting in the back of his truck, and how you two sang it together. Maybe that wasn't as special to you as it was to him, but at that night he'd felt so young, so full of life and hope. You finally nodded and closed your eyes, listening to it and thinking of the same sweet memory you and Joel shared.
"I just didn't know it was our song, Joel" you said amused and he shrugged, getting to his favorite part of the song and taking your hand in his, your eyes locked as his lips moved
"Marry me girl, be my fairy to the world, be my very own constellation"
He sang along, even if it wasn't a romantic song, that part was for you, it had always been for you. When he saw you sing that specific part of the song for the first time he knew he wanted to marry you, he wanted you to be his fairy to his world and be his very own constellation. It was cheesy, but he didn't care, he was just in love at the time, and he continued so.
You blushed and looked down, knowing it was time to go, but before you could get up, he squeezed your hand gently
"Do you want to get inside?" His eyes were full of hope, maybe and just maybe you could say yes and you could maybe pick up from where you left off but you shook your head "I'm sorry, I have to go Joel" you got up and ignored his sad eyes, even if they were your weakness, you two were finished and there was nothing you could do about it.
"Joel?" You called one last time and he got up, walking to you, still hopeful you'd give him any crumble of affection.
"Yeah?" His voice was a soft purr, the anticipation burning bright inside of him
"Happy birthday" you said and went to your car, leaving him standing there, his mind full of might-have-beens and his heart breaking as it did every time you walked away from him.
_____
A/N: don't yell at me besties, i've had this idea of joel being sure he would want to marry reader (me/us) while listening to this part of the song and Californication is a very delicate subject as I sang this song in a karaoke session at the mall yesterday in front of hundreds of people and I was so nervous at first but then I relaxed and had such a great time and it was amazing 😭 I know it's not a romantic song but I want those lyrics to be about joel and his beautiful wife 😭 I hope you've liked it besties ❤️

Hello I'm a new follower of you can I request to you about honkai star rail x archon older sibling reader (any gender and any archon) and the archon older sibling is the god of luck , life or death and the honkai star rail characters are the astral express crew or Gaspard , blade , luocha and Jing yuan is it ok and thank you for your great writing
(Honkai star rail x genshin impact)
-----♡
A/N: Hello, thank you for following me and your great request! I hope, I can do your idea justice!<33
Characters featured: Gepard, Blade, Luocha, Jing Yuan
Content: Fluff, some tiny angst, reader is an op god sibling, mentions of death(?), no one except for chosen characters know that you're a God, platonic sibling relationships
Reader has no set pronouns!
((Not fully proofread!))
-----♡
》Gepard
Tumblr media
You are the god of luck and Gepard's, including Serval's and Lynx's, older sibling, which comes with alot of responsibility at times. Especially in keeping your godhood a secret from everyone outside of your family.
Being the god of luck is very beneficial in Gepard's case, mainly because he needs alot of it out on the front lines. You keep him safe and make his days easier, which he appreciates alot.
He doesn't fully grasp your abilities or power, yet still tries his best to understand everything. He is grateful to have you and very proud at that. He'll listen intently when you tell him stories of a long forgotten past, always asking questions and noting things down, if he has to. He wants to know and understand everything, so he can best take care of you.
Gepard does everything to keep you and your secret safe with him. You mean the world to him as his older sibling and he makes sure you know it, with how he keeps you safe and content. It's the least he could do, for the luck you grant him.
He always asks and prays for your blessings, whenever he has longer weeks at the front lines, always keeping a picture of you and his other siblings in his pocket just in case. He feels more confident and at ease, knowing you're always watching over him.
-----♡
》Blade
Tumblr media
Despite never admitting it out loud, he is very grateful to have you by his side. You are the God of death and therefore aid him in causing havoc and chaos. You love your little brother after all and can't say no to him. Though you have to admit, that collecting the souls after his chaotic endeavours was becoming quite tiring...
He doesn't treat you like a god or something above him, in fact, he sometimes is arrogant enough to think he's better than you. You let him think what he wants, finding it cute and amusing even. You always support him in anything he does, no matter what it may be.
Though there are days, where you have to keep him in check. Keep him sane. And whilst he constantly defies you stubbornly, deep down he's glad that you are keeping him stable and safe. It comforts him to have his older sibling watching over him at all times.
He doesn't care, if people know of your secret or not. If they know, then people would be more intimidated and scared, which benefits him greatly. Whilst he has his power and ego trips, he doesn't notice the invisible child leash you always have on him, keeping him away from serious trouble and death for that matter. You sometimes seriously wonder, what he'd do without you.
-----♡
》Luocha
Tumblr media
You are the god of life and therefore quite useful to Luocha's work as a doctor. You are, amongst other things, able to heal people with him and he's grateful to have a sibling like you helping him out.
You both travel the countries together, the coffin always accompanying you everywhere you go. You never inquire about it, even if you find it a bit odd as the god of life. But everyone has their secrets and as long as your little brother is okay, you don't mind... though you are still quite curious about it in secret.
Speaking of secrets, yours is safe with him. If anyone asks about how you can heal people so easily, he just simply says that you're special. He never elaborates either. You are important and valuable to him and anything that dares hurt or question you will be kept far away from you.
He protects you and takes care of you, always keeping you close during your travels. He enjoys spending alot of time with you and listening to you tell him about your abilities or stories.
Luocha is happy, that he has a sibling like you and likes to remind you of it with kind, gentle words. Your blessings makes his job and skill better and he's more than grateful for it.
-----♡
》Jing Yuan
Tumblr media
You are the god of luck and boy... does he sometimes take advantage of that. You usually tolerate everything your little brother does with you. Whether it is helping him make his elaborate and exhausting plans true or helping him have luck achieve better skills at something, you do it all for him.
And usually you never complain... although you're starting to feel like he should make pay you first with offerings or just money at this point, before you do anything for him anymore. But with enough sweet talking and borderline manipulation, that you see through completely, he still gets everything he wants. Did you maybe spoil him too much with your powers? Yes, you have and no, you can't stop now.
Don't get him wrong though, he is eternally grateful for everything you've done for him. He's convinced that you're the only reason he ever survived on the battlefield, so he can't be thankful enough for you watching over him.
He keeps you and your secret safe, you're his first priority in everything and asks for your blessing everyday, before he leaves for work.
He keeps you close, joking teasingly to others, that his older sibling is his "luck charm". You're not very amused.
-----♡
A/N: I hope this was okay! Thank you again for the request!<33
♡All requests are appreciated♡

Henry's been living rent free in my head since I read TSH like four months ago- I cannot stop thinking about him and your blog is single handedly fueling my obsession with him so thank you so much really.
Anyways- I know Henry is definitely not the soft type of guy, but I do believe he could get just a tiny little bit softer than he usually is (sparingly) were he to find a person he really liked?? This is probably just my guilty and mostly out of character pleasure, but imagining him being all cold and harsh as he is for the most part and then suddenly doing or saying that one unexpectedly tender thing out of nowhere (even in a nsfw context, that's even better) and then going back to his usual self in a heartbeat makes me go uughhh
i wholeheartedly agree with you. on so many levels. it's very easy to cross the utterly restrictive OOC boundaries when speaking/writing about him, since all we seem to know is how stoic and cool and constantly displeased he is (although i could impugn this very well — take the glass shard scene or his staying at the hospital with richard as an example).
us as readers, we cannot help but crave a little softness from him sometimes, and i understand that completely. i'm always willing to indulge us all in a scenario like that. in a better world, on slightly OOC premises, he would make an evidently detached, but caring partner. coincidentally, i have been thinking about just that for the past couple of days, despite formerly being convinced it would be entirely impossible to conduct a healthy relationship with that man (which, yeah, if we strictly stick to canon, it still would be, but that's the beauty about fiction — we get to brush past and alter some things to our enjoyment).
therefore, yes — with the opportunity to alter his character just a tiny bit, i believe he would let his soft side flash every now and again. i don't think it would be in any form of physical touch, however, as he certainly isn't one to put his feelings on display, especially in public (in private, however, that'd be a completely different story). it would mostly be symbolic with him. for instance, imagine it being your birthday. as your partner, he would know you inside and out — he is highly attentive and perceptive, especially when it comes to those closest to him, and he would absolutely be well-versed in anything that you might like, or mention liking. he would know. loving is knowing. therefore, for your birthday, he would not only think of and buy you the best and most thoughtful present imaginable, but he would also buy five more to give to the rest of the group under the pretense of "i know her/him/them better than all of you combined, which is why all of your gifts have already been taken care of".
that is how his affection would shine through — acts of service. being spoiled by him is another tremendous part of that. i have already approached this topic in two previous posts, but to summarize: he absolutely would be willing to spoil you in any way imaginable, as it would be the only plausible way for him to prove the depth of his feelings for you (along with kisses and other physical endeavors, which would exclusively be saved for private settings).
in addition, i feel like he would let himself be swayed more and more despite his dogmatic position, meaning he would be willing to comply or enter compromises, especially for you. orrr... to approach the aspect of him portraying the merest smidge of sweetness and immediately reverting to his stoic self — imagine a strand of hair having fallen loose from your hairstyle, or it simply veiling your hair too much, to the point where he would press the book he might be holding under his arm mid-conversation and brush it aside for you with a light smile, only to immediately proceed with whatever it is he had been occupied by previously.
from a nsfw standpoint, his care would mostly show in his being very forthcoming and reassuring to you (asking for consent, asking if you're in any discomfort during a position, checking up on you during rougher activity), and aftercare (bringing you towels/water/a cigarette (lol), proposing to go pee, holding you on occasion if matters had been overly rough and you might still be trembling).
he would also totally be the type to run his fingers through your hair and even play with it. i don't care how OOC some people believe this to be — i need it. sometimes a girl just needs something of the sort.

The opposition to rewrites in the FNDM is just so goddamn weird to me, given that one of the cornerstones of another fandom I'm in is a rewrite of a canon storyline that had some really cool ideas but dogshit execution. I see people saying that the rewriters are arrogant for thinking that they can do RWBY better than the official team, but no, in my experience even if they are arrogant it's equally possible that they're right. Official doesn't mean "The Best" or even "Good", just official.
Exactly. Ultimately it shouldn't even matter whether rewrites are "good" or not because
a) That's a highly subjective interpretation no one will ever agree on
b) They're written by amateurs for free as a hobby - with "amateur" meaning someone who does not produce RWBY writing in a professional capacity, not someone who is automatically "bad" at the art - and thus rewrites would be at huge disadvantage even if we did want to judge their quality
and c) That's just what fanfiction is?? Transformation??? The writer's motivation is inconsequential. Whether they're producing this because they think they can craft a better story than canon, or whether they simply want a creative means of celebrating it, the end result is still the same: a new, unofficial RWBY product that readers will inevitably compare to the original, favorably or otherwise
So yeah, it's wild to me. I've literally never seen another fandom so anti-rewrite. It's usually the opposite - as you say, a cornerstone of fan engagement - where fans, both jokingly and not, talk about how sometimes fic is a love letter and sometimes it's a "FUCK YOU STRONGLY WORDED TELEGRAM TO FOLLOW." Despite RWBY appearing unique at first glance (from my perspective, anyway) I wonder if part of this is due to larger fandom trends? Meaning, RWBY is comparatively young as fandoms go and I've noticed in recent years a prioritization of canon that hasn't been around before, particularly when it comes to shipping. Some of that is good imo (like the push for queer canonization) and some of it is just downright odd (what do you mean I'm not "allowed" to ship them just because they haven't spoken to each on screen? Since when is THAT a requirement?). Though RWBY is definitely an extreme case, there seems to be this generalized move from, "This is our canon and it's great, or maybe it sucks, but either way it's a spring board for all of THESE cool things" to "This is our canon and it is scared. It is perfect, flaws and all. If you're going to add to it I need a detailed proposal for how this fits into the established world, encapsulates the original author's vision, and maintains characterization even though I'm too young to know what OOC stands for." Certainly in RWBY's case, I wonder if part of it stems from the rise in social media and, as a result, fans "personal" relationships with the actors and writers. When you're seeing a creator's tweets all day and feeling like they're your online friend, you might be less inclined to "mess with" their work; as opposed to seeing an actor/writer at a con once a year, going home, recognizing that they're a complete stranger outside of any fantasies, and then getting on with playing in their sandbox because why wouldn't you? They're never going to know. This is the age of fans sending their fic to actors to read aloud and tweeting at writers that such-and-such had this to say about the show. Though this was done in a cool and positive light, I have legit had a meta of mine tweeted at a OFMD actor and, if the like he gave is any indication, he read it... which is a weird thing to think about considering he was not the audience I had in mind while crafting it. Those kinds of interactions has got to have some kind of impact on fans' perception of what they can and cannot do with the material...
Anyway, today's PSA is that if you want to do a rewrite of any story - yes, even RWBY! - you are absolutely allowed to do that regardless of how "good" it supposedly is. Go forth and get creative. Get messy. Do whatever the hell you want and if someone in the fandom tries to make you feel bad about that, tell me and I'll manifest a Lego in their shoe.
After all, it's not like the entirety of RWBY is built on transforming others' stories or anything :)

Thoughts and headcanons
I was lazy to type these at first despite it being in the back of my mind for months, but it’s nice to have a place to organize dumb thoughts. As I’m catching up on other anime like Yugioh, it’s kind of sad that Death Note in comparison doesn’t have much content in terms of world building, merchandise, or even showing what a character’s life is like outside of doing their job. In fact, some of their existence are treated solely as a plot device instead of a fleshed out compelling person. I know it’s mainly because DN’s writing is more story-driven than on characters, but it leaves me wanting to know more about them.
Besides being highly fond of a few characters, admiring the animation’s cinematic visuals and how the style is a time capsule of early 2000 anime (muted color palette, gothic aesthetic, white gradient lighting) I’m not that invested with DN as a whole, the Yotsuba arc being the weakest with forgettable side villains (seriously, how often do you hear anyone mention the Yostuba members besides occasionally Higuchi?) and a section that dragged on longer than it should have. Rem being the one to kill L also ruined the point of this whole battle of wits DN was building up if Light can simply make a fucking shinigami do the work. It’s fine though, L’s passing means BEST BOY NEAR has now entered the picture.
Tumblr media
Only Near can have soulless eyes and still be cutest thing alive. He actually fits well with the gothic visual design of DN in subtle ways- It’s those black eyes that stare right into your soul, his ghostly appearance, playing with creepy toys/finger puppets/L’s mask, and smiling like a psychopath out of nowhere in some scenes, hilariously contrasting his usual stoic demeanor.
Onto headcanons:
Near
can be more sensitive than he lets on, he’s just good at hiding it.
avoids eye contact unless it’s with someone he trusts.
enjoys visual stimulation such as the flickering of holiday lights, rain drops on a window, colorful contraptions performing in a loop or predictable pattern like a toy train driving in circles or a spinning windmill (I sketched something for this).
round pudgy Near >>>> generic skinny anime girl Near. I get why some imagine him skinny since he barely....moves. but a lil bit of chub fits his character design better. Plus there’s already plenty of skinny bitches in DN so it’s more fun to see some variety (long-haired Near is an exception bc he lost all his baby fat by then).
has a rather big capacity to hate or look down on someone, shown by his opinions on Kira, the president, Takada, etc. It’s visually amplified in the anime where he constantly looks like an angry kitten.
smug brat
the giant common room at Wammy’s House is also Near’s playroom and there are days when everyone needs to clear out so he can play amongst 1000000000000000+ legos.
his reaction came off as cold during the announcement of L’s death, but I imagine he didn’t exactly know how to express his grief at the moment. You even see a nonverbal display of his upset in canon when he spills his puzzle pieces on the floor. The first emotion he felt was anger towards L. The hero he respected was supposed to be unbeatable. L promised he’d win. It’s not until Near’s alone in his room that he breaks down.
this one’s not a headcanon, but I love the fact that he's literally the only main character who survived. And on top of that, a breaker of the white-haired-anime-character-dies trope. What a king. Big win for autism.
has extremely low pain tolerance. One little splinter to the finger and he’s done.
Tumblr media
Creepy nightmare fuel L is best L.
L
can play the piano and sometimes does it during his Wammy House visits.
has 0 interest in romantic relations. He doesn’t even express interest in making friends. He’s shown only ever focused on crime solving and is content with it. Other than that, I can only see him as a top. He’s prideful, hates losing any ounce of control, and isn’t the type to let his guard down.
L understands Near best. Everything about them looks like they’d be on the same wavelength. They can communicate and tell what the other’s thinking with a glance. No words needed.
so dependent on sweets that he can’t function without it, almost like an addict. If he doesn’t get his daily sugar, he becomes distressed and easily irritated.
Speaking of addiction, I doubt he’s the type to use drugs (though he certainly would have easy access), but maybe he’d save it for rare occasions when he needs to truly wind down and turn off his mind especially after an exhausting case.
is impatient and less cooperative when working with others as opposed to Near. (canon actually, just an observation.)
like Near, L is also sensitive to noise and dislikes being around loud people/environments, but he’ll tolerate it if it’s necessary.
unlike Near, L has a much higher pain tolerance. He took a punch to the face several times and didn’t even flinch. If something did hurt, he’d under react simply saying: “ow.” with the same stoic face.
Tumblr media
Yeah I know that’s Misa’s eye but there’s no official anime screencap for B so fuck it that’s him with mascara.
Beyond Birthday
if Another Note ever got an anime adaption, Akira Ishida would be the  ideal voice for B. Just listen to these clips. I can’t find anyone else more perfect for the role. A soft yet menacing tone, constantly scheming.
I know there’s BxL fanfics out there, but it’s hard to see B ever wanting him. If anything, I’m more convinced that B loathes L, what he represents, and how he’s idolized by the kids at Wammy’s House, you know, an institution that grooms orphans to become L’s successor.
B is also often depicted as a top but we all know he’s true bottom because what edgy tryhard says out loud: “I’m a top, an aggressive top (guys i swear i’m a top look at me lick this knife i’m so evil)” -B
he’s a few years younger than L.
was close friends with A. A’s death was the final straw that pushed B to leave Wammy’s House.
B is Californian, more specifically from L.A. What better location to scheme complex murders than in a place you’re well familiar with?
he had eyebrows, but shaved them off for his L disguise.

Do you have motivational tips? I always lose motivation to continue writing after a while but I'm also scared of sharing works that aren't finished because while commets would probably the best motivator, they also started to scare me, even if that sounds dramatic. The thought of people "expecting" more kind of stresses me out because I get scared that they will lose interest if I don't work fast enough and that blocks me from working at all, I had this happen before a couple of times and eventually just stopped posting works in progess. That worked best for me but it's also less fun and I struggle to motivate me now: I've only recently gotten back into wanting to write fanfiction (for F1) and it doesn't work and seeing you suddenly work on your big project again makes me want to know your secrets, even though I know that they might not even apply to me. 🤷🏼‍♀️❤️
hi love! sending you a biiig big hug <3<3
you're doing amazing, first of all, for simply wanting to make stuff. and acknowledging the fear and anxiety that comes with it. that's very brave of you and very strong. and to ask for help! i'm already very proud of you.
and i get you. i have experienced quite a lot of pressure and writing-fright with all the comments i've gotten for Racing Heartbeats too. and, due to so much time passing, i just felt like i could write the whole series better than i already had. but that's part of it too, the progress! i think people can quite well read the difference in my writing style if you were to compare work 1 to work, idk, 10? 20? i read a post by ao3commentoftheday on it a few days ago and what i remember was this: it doesn't matter that the writing style changes over course, the readers change with you, see you evolve, and really don't mind that. it stuck with me.
then another thing that helped, for me, was working on other projects. the constant affirmation to myself that, despite not being able to work on RH, i can still write. i still enjoy writing. whether it's a short brainworm like lover, lead me astray or a longer thing like my nanowrimo project keep me under the charm. i could isolate my block to only RH and focus on other stuff. and when i felt ready, i could go back to RH with ease.
i recommend picking up something super small first. a pwp, just getting them from point a to b with no stops along the way, a nice ficlet (<1k) or short story (<5k) to get your knuckles warmed up for something bigger. maybe even a non-fanfic writing exercise can help! i've once written a story about chess pieces getting picked up by human hands, not knowing what's going on or even that they were pawns in a bigger game. something very random. with a fifteen minute timer and just no pressure, no goal, no worries. just whatever words come to mind. it's quite a creepy thingie and i still think fondly about it.
besides that, specifically talking about the comments: it's not dramatic to see it as frightening. it very well is. you're putting your work, something you put time, effort, your heart, into just out for the world to see. that is scary. just bc it's through pixels and not on a big irl stage where you can see the faces looking at you, the faces are still there. so it's completely normal and not at all dramatic to find that scary. i had that struggle too, with people commenting 'when will you update' 'where's the next chapter' etc. go away!!!!!! it's so well-intended but it has the opposite effect. and what helped for me is standing up for myself, being kind to myself. i can only write and post when i'm ready, when i want to, because in the end the only person i'm doing this all for is me. it's not the nicest thing, sometimes. and i'm certain i've lost readers bc of it, but that's fine, because it did help me.
what also helps in that regard, and something i've painfully come to learn with RH, is only posting when you're done with the entire work. but that comes with the added struggle of rarely ever being able to share your stuff with other people bc you don't want to spoil your whole work before anyone had a chance to glance at it.
what always helps for me, and something i had the luxury of getting used to and then the pain of losing it only to then get it again and realise how much i need it, is a cheerleader. one person, or more, who does read what you write. who brainstorms with you. who checks what you're up to, who helps you out every step of the way. the official fandom term for this is an alpha reader, though i often see people referring to them as a beta reader too. the links go more in depth about the roles but the most important difference for me is this: a beta reader is someone you ask to check your work right before posting. checking spag, mostly. an alpha reader/cheerleader is someone you go to before you start writing. they help brainstorm the idea, characterisation, plotholes, etc. having a cheerleader really helps me so so much to stay awake and focused on a project. and you can do that thing you so desperately want to: share! you can share your work with someone! and someone who doesn't expect you to write anything and someone who helps you too!
i guess my biggest secret is that i rn have @vmyosotis as my beloved cheerleader helping me with literally every single one of my brainworms (she's collecting my wip documents like a gremlin hoards shiny stones), @pinkjamblesss to generally get excited about 4433, to brainstorm new ideas together and just go feral about these nerds, and @strawcars about some angsty whump ideas that are out of my comfort zone, but still the brainstorming gets me excited and consider things for my own work as well. i think i'm more of a cheerleader to cherry than she's to me. maybe one day if i'll venture into hurt/no comfort.
so yeah. get your people around you - through the tumblr tags, ao3, other social media, discord, etc. - to get excited with you about your ideas. hell, i'd love to be a cheerleader for you! i love helping people get to more ideas and working out the kinks in a story to create something new! i love seeing people with creative ideas i'd never think of! and i hope to see you in the F1 tag, when you're ready for it.
much love and i wish every bit of motivation in the world onto you <3 xoxo!

Hey could I get a match up with Male characters from Stardew?
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: BI
Zodiac: Capricorn
MBTI: INTJ
Appearance: I am 160 cm. I wear thin glasses. I am a bit chubby and have a lot of scars from working with animals or cooking. I always end up walking on my toes. I have short dark brown almost black hair and blue eyes.
Personality: People’s first impression is that I am either very mysterious or very sophisticated. With my natural paranoia of people, it takes a long time for me to get comfortable with someone. I usually have a dark sense of humor or completely dry and sarcastic despite most people not picking up. I often end up being a comfort to a lot of people, being a shoulder to lean on; many people say that I am the type of person they can talk to and just open up to me. I always am the type to be bold and be super blunt, I say things how I want and when I want. I often go ahead and stay stuff that most people are afraid to say because I know nobody else will if I don’t say anything. I am what people have described as chaotically good, I work towards a general good but I am not always a nice person.
Hobbies: I love writing, so much so I am an author. I love creative writing though specifically because I create worlds. Cooking and baking is what I usually do in my free time, trying to give people my cooking is the best thing. I love playing video games, especially RPGs and a lot of complicated stuff. I enjoy playing D&D campaigns, especially other table top rpgs. I sometimes do art but not all of the time. I love reading, especially good horror books.
Likes: I like weird and experimental stuff and music and anything in general. I absolutely love horror, though I am a lot more into complicated horror than anything else. I love fantasy and Sci-fi, both genres are just absolutely a delight to have. I love complex stories and characters, something that I could talk on and on about for hours. I love animals, because I used to grow up on a farm with chickens, turkeys, and horses, but even just cats and dogs I love and take care for. Speaking of that, nature, I absolutely love nature, I love camping, hiking, enjoying to the sights, to the point where I camped in negative degree weather (whoops). People who are willing to go along with this.
Dislikes: People who think they are better than shitty entertainment and or are critical to anything that isn’t top tier. As much as I love good media, I always held the belief that the worst thing a piece of media can be is boring. So someone judging another person for liking bad things that are still entertaining have no sense of fun in my opinion. Like you aren’t better for not liking romcoms, you are just a dick. People who like playing games with communication or something is just a one way ticket for getting me mad. People who can’t understand why people don’t change overnight, or that people can’t just simply fix another person’s problems, they can help sure but not fix. Bad textured foods make me vomit.
Love languages: I love giving acts of service and quality time. Most of the stuff I do is provide a listening ear no matter what, which leads to people becoming comfortable in my presence. I often love cooking with people to make stuff with each other. I love receiving words of affirmation and quality time, because both just absolutely melt my heart.
🐱👍
== Stardew Valley ==>
I match you up with…
Harvey
Harvey is possibly the most down-to-earth guy you could ask for, and he’d be an easy friend and lover for you.
At first he’s intrigued if not intimidated by you and your less open demeanor, but after a few trips to his office after being in the mines or a shopping trip for some medicine, he starts to see little bits of your personality he likes: your humor, your moral values, and, most importantly, your kindness.
After a few dangerous encounters, he always makes sure you have the right tools to go into the mines, and frequently spends his time patching you up in the office chattering away.
Harvey’s an anxious man, so just knowing that you’d be willing to listen to him when he needs it warms his heart immensely.
In a relationship, he’s flooding you with quality time. Whether it’s making breakfast side by side, watering the crops on a hot summer’s day, or just reading together as the rain pours, he’ll always be there when you need him.
He’s enamoured with anything you write, but won’t hide any criticisms from you either. He loves your work, and wants everyone to see it, and so tries to make it the best it can be. Regardless, you often spend time reading your works out loud to him as he gazes at you lovingly.
He’s also madly in love with the fact that you don’t compromise on your beliefs. You’re strong willed in a way he’s not, and he values that you two are very much two sides of the same coin.

Day 27 - Hypnosis (Alt 19)
Sometimes it's better to forget. Whumptober 2023! I’m using the @ailesswhumptober's prompt list. This story is about my OC Rey - here’s his profile if you’re so inclined: https://toyhou.se/23741197.rey (And yes this is the last one I forgot to post lol.)
On Rey’s eighteenth birthday, there was no party. No coming of age celebration. No announcement was made to the papers, although there were certainly unofficial ones reporting on the anniversary of the twins’ birth. Many of them noted that Prince Allistor had been out of the spotlight for years now while Princess Moira’s upcoming wedding was well publicized. The average citizen didn’t have the time to care all too much about royal life, but a good number did - especially the tabloid press. There were reports that Rey was dead, that he’d gone mad, or even that he’d done something to deserve being locked away in a tower for the rest of his life by the royal family.
To an extent, the rumor about being locked away wasn’t entirely false. Rey was unable to leave his bedroom in the castle, but it was for his own good. Otherwise Clerval was sure he would kill himself - either consciously or unconsciously. Ever since Rey had come back to him after two long years away, he’d been different. He’d never been charming, per say, but Rey had been able to hold his own very well before he was kidnapped. Now, he seemed to have lost all sense of himself and the world around him.
He wouldn’t eat or drink without being forced - that was the most pressing issue now and the thing that convinced the King and Queen that drastic measures needed to be taken or else they would have to accept that Rey was going to die. The boy hadn’t spoken a word in a week other than fevered ramblings when he was half asleep. He couldn’t answer questions and didn’t follow commands. He was simply a shell of a person, unable to mentally escape from whatever prison he’d been held in for far too long.
Hypnosis as a medical treatment was not standard, nor was it encouraged in the kingdom for obvious reasons. But Rey’s parents had exhausted every traditional means of trying to cure their son of his catatonic state and they had run out of other options. The head doctor worked tireless hours to ensure the method was perfected - as perfected as something that had never been done and recorded before could be - waiting until he was confident enough to try it on Rey.
“He might still remember some of it,” the doctor warned. “Or it might not work and he could remember all of it. I could erase too much accidentally. I don’t know if he’ll forget how to do things like read and write. And who knows how long any of this will last.”
Despite all of this preface, the decision was made to try anyway. Rey’s eighteenth birthday was spent getting his memories wiped of the past two and a half years. All they could do was hope for the best. Rey’s twin sister Moira was in the room as it happened, staring disdainfully at her weak brother.
Rey slept for an entire month. It was touch and go for a while; maybe he’d never wake up. Clerval was his most frequent bedside companion, holding Rey’s hand and stroking it in the hopes that someday, he’d see those bright blue eyes open again.
Finally, one day, they did. Rey was very weak and didn’t speak right away, but he was awake and that was enough to fill Clerval with much needed hope for the future.
It took time for Rey to begin speaking, another several weeks. When he did, his voice was very hoarse and quiet - but that was more than welcome. Besides, anything was better than the feral screaming he’d been doing before he had gone completely silent. The first thing he said to Clerval after regaining his voice was, “Where am I?”
“You’re in your bedroom, Rey. In the castle. You don’t remember?”
“No, I remember,” Rey said, shaking his head. He seemed to be sleepy, but sure of himself. “Who’re you?”
“Clerval. Your best friend.” Had Rey really forgotten him? Clerval felt like he couldn’t breathe until Rey spoke again.
“Oh yes,” Rey said. “I knew that too.”
Clerval’s eyes filled with tears and he took one of Rey’s hands in his own. “Are you really back with me, Rey?”
Rey looked confused, half-asleep. “Did I go somewhere?”
It had worked.

Hey maddy! I hope you’re doing great! I’m writing to you to share my thoughts about Hinata, Neji, their dynamic and what type of message they represent in the story.
I always see Hinata fans question about the way Hinata is portrayed in the story and even I wonder about Kishi’s decision of portrayal sometimes but I decided to reread the Chunin Exams, specifically her fight with Neji to get some answers myself and instead of fighting the author and forcing my way of thinking on how things should’ve turned out or happened, I decided to comprehend why Kishimoto decided that scenario and how Hinata and Neji represents the two sides of the Hyūga Clan. However, this is simply how I started looking at things and I could have missed a few points or details and I’m happy to hear your thoughts and corrections on the matter.
Also, this probably won’t be a detailed explanation because this is simply a late night rambling of mine. Lol.
When I hear fans talk about why Hinata was no longer expanded after her fight with Neji, I reached to the conclusion that because her role in the story was over. Her character and Neji is surrounded by their individual roles in the Hyūga Clan. An Heir whose ability is considered mediocre and was replaced but still is able to enjoy the privileges of being part of the main family and a slave who is born with outstanding talent but feels encased due to his social standing.
Neji is born a genius and as Hinata said, Neji is caught between the destinies of both branches. From what we got from Lee, he said that the main branch started making rules and decisions that would better benefit them and preserve the family line and purity of their blood, from what I know is that all of the Hyūga Clan techniques are taught either to the main branch and main family (to the head and its heirs) and everyone in the lower branch are members who most likely doesn’t even know how to activate their Byakugan, more or less utilize them. The only reason why Neji knows is because he observed the main branch members practicing and his father knows because he used to be a main branch member. So the lower branch members are not taught how to fight or defend themselves, not only that but they also have the Caged Bird Seal on them to be able to control them if they every do revolt against the main branch. Basically, the lower branch from the very beginning, since birth, were already destined to be nothing but slaves or failures. To be below the main branch, a chaste system basically. They were forbidden to learn any of their clan’s techniques and freedom got strip away along with the opportunities of ever becoming strong. Yet, Neji defied that destiny. He was from the lower branch and yet he is considered to be the “greatest genius in Hyūga Clan history,” as Hiruzen said.
So this is where Neji is stuck between the destiny between the two. Since the system is designed to make the main branch flourish and the lower branch remain below. Neji is someone who broke the order of that system. He, afterall is stronger that the heiress herself, the one who would lead the clan and allow it to prosper, so this leads to Neji questioning the doctrine he grew up with as a child. He is supposed to be lower than Hinata yet why is he beating her? He is supposed to be useless, a failure, yet he is a genius. The main branch destined to succeed and lower branch to fail, yet he is a lower branch who is born with great talent who bested the main branch or succeeded, so where does he actually belong? In the main branch or in the lower branch?
I think this is what made Neji felt caught between the two branches. Furthermore, because he is a lower branch despite his great talent, he is not accommodated and he doesn’t receive the same opportunities as those in the main branch. I think this is why Neji talks so much about destiny or fate and how once a failure, always a failure. If you’re born like that, weak and frail, that’s it. I think Neji is talking more about himself than Hinata, that no matter how much he tries, to be better, to be powerful, he’s still a lower branch member destined to fail. He will never be acknowledged and he will never be able to reach his full potential.
Then we have Hinata, as Neji said, Hinata was burden from birth because of being born from the main branch. There are certain expectations set upon her due to being heiress and to simply clear a certain thing up— as much as people like to disagree, Hinata was most likely weak. I don’t think it has anything to do with being weak physically or power-wise but the necessary attitude that’s needed to lead the clan. The Elder Hyūga said that having a heart like stone or steel is the burden that the main branch has to carry. Hinata doesn’t have that yet Hanabi does. When both Hinata and Hanabi fought, Hinata was reluctant to hurt Hanabi if she wasn’t she would’ve won, Hanabi was pretty serious with their fight and was actually trying to defeat Hinata knowing the fact they’re sisters, she regretted it right after but they seem to not have taken the outcome of the fight personally since they seem to be in good terms with each other, but I don’t think it’s simply a steel heart that makes Hanabi a suitable heir in their eyes, but the resolve to carry the consequences of those actions. I think that’s the burden that the Elder Hyūga was referring to. Being leader of a certain clan, community, or even a country, you’re bound to make decisions that would be difficult to make, some would be against your values and principles, making a certain thing a priority means you have to sacrifice the other, there’s no path where everyone gets to be happy and live joyfully while eating three meals a day.
Example is when Hinata got kidnapped on her birthday in which Hiashi saved her but ended up killing the Cloud Village’s Head Ninja (or was it Ambassador?) and so they wanted his head, while Hiashi was willing to pay the price and present himself, the Elder Hyūga refused and said that he is very important and needed in the clan since he’s the Head, so they ended up sacrificing his twin brother, Hizashi. That broke Hiashi obviously, he didn’t even want to let Hizashi sacrifice himself, and even I think that Hizashi’s speech about him “choosing” his fate is simply him trying to lessen the guilt his brother would feel when he dies for his sake.
When Hinata is presented with such situations as well, how well and how will she be able to handle it? The never-leaving-anyone-behind is too optimistic and ideal and reality is not like that. Not to mention, if she had two kids one is gonna bound up being in the lower branch like what happened to Hiashi and Hizashi but it seems that only takes effect when the Heir officially become the Head of the Clan.
(Also, the circumstances I’m presenting is when the Hyūga Clan didn’t have a massive change in its ways, I think those outcomes were unexpected and when Hiashi made the decision of making Hanabi his new Heir; he certainly didn’t thought that one day the Hyūga Clan would change.)
I think that is what made Hiashi think that Hanabi is better than Hinata and it has nothing to do with strength, I think we take much emphasis that the clan head must be the strongest and strength is the measure if one is fit to rule when obviously there’s more to it than just that, even in being Hokage I’ve realized that it’s not just strength that makes the people think you’re suited (although that’s certainly part of it) but possessing great patriotism to either your country or village is the key as well. That’s why in Naruto betrayal of a comrade, loved one, or the village is the worst thing you could ever do. People didn’t cheer for Naruto because he saved them during Pain Arc (sure, that was part of it) but Naruto, who is seen to be the nine-tailed fox who destroyed their village, fought with his life to protect the place they called home. Loyalty and devotion.
(Such views ties up to Japanese Culture really well. Japanese people are very patriotic and take great pride in there culture.)
The reason why Hinata felt burdened and why she didn’t pursue being the Head after her title got strip away from her is simply the fact she didn’t want to be Head. She probably wanted it first but along the way realized that it’s not something she wants to do, in the first place, Hinata was expected to be Head by the very second she was born, her destiny was plastered already by birth, but did people even stopped and ask if wanting to lead the clan is what Hinata wanted? Hinata forcing herself to do something she doesn’t wanna do is what lead her to suffer that’s why she has nothing but bad memories during her training days, she is not motivated in any way, she lacks interest, and it doesn’t make her happy or feel fulfilled. Hinata’s weakness doesn’t come from the fact she’s just naturally born weak or average but because she wasn’t driven to grow or had any motivation or reason to. When she decided to get strong to be able to fight by Naruto’s side she was able to significantly grow, even pushing herself to the limits during the war and that’s because she was determined to. Naruto is the inspiration of Hinata’s growth and her motivation to become strong, but most of all she did it for herself because she acknowledged that she was lacking and wanted to better herself.
I don’t think there’s anything shallow to wanting to be strong for another person, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with valuing those who strive to be better and stronger, those who always supported you than the people who made you feel like you’re expendable.
(Moreover, if Hinata wanted to lead the clan and since the line to the “throne” was determined through a fight then it should be settled back through a fight. Hinata should’ve asked a rematch with Hanabi yet she didn’t even though she had plenty of time to ask after the war. Reading her monologues, Hinata doesn’t give a single damn about her clan at all and she possess no desire to lead it— in her fight with Neji, she wasn’t thinking about how she should keep going in order to not disgrace the Hyūga name but she was worried of looking uncool in front of Naruto.)
All in all, I think I loved how the conflict between the two branches of the Hyūga Clan ended. Hiashi trained Neji and abolish the ideology and ways of the Hyūga that prevented the cadet branch to have equal opportunities and rights as those in the main branch. Neji was able to grow and reach new heights without feeling like he’s being held back by which branch he got born into. And Hinata was able to pursue a path she actually wanted (even if it’s a path most fans didn’t want her to trek upon) I think it’s still empowering. This is why I said that Kishi oftentimes write women embodying Pro-choice. Hinata chose the life she wanted, she isn’t manipulated or forced in any way.
I think the message that:
* Being poor and possessing low social status shouldn’t hinder you for ever succeeding and that your family situation whether you’re a family of very “problematic” people or none of you ever got to go to college isn’t what determines your future. There are times where the apple falls far from the tree.
* It’s okay to be a writer, a dancer, a musician in a family of doctors and lawyers, you don’t have to be an architect or an engineer because everyone in your family does or everyone is expected you to be. You’re allowed to have dreams of your own and have the right to pursue them.
More extra thoughts, the conclusion made what Neji said about Hinata to be wrong.
Tumblr media
Hinata is definitely not all sweetness and light, sure, she is kind, but she can be edgy or rough at times if she wants to; she also has no problems in inflicting harm to others. A good girl would’ve followed what her father wanted of her, a person who isn’t a troublemaker would’ve stayed put and follow authority, yet she kept bettering herself, kept practicing even after her father told her she’s nothing compared to her younger sister. Neji tells her she’s easily led when she didn’t even followed what was expected of her.
Also, after re-reading their fight again, Maddy. I’ve found out that most likely not every Hyūga can hit or shut off tenketsus, apparently it’s a high level technique and that most Hyūga members simply inflict damage on the internal organs and chakra pathways (Keirakukie) disrupting the flow of chakra and not everyone can close off chakra nodes because they’re super small and basically undetectable so they’re super difficult to target or hit through the gentle fist, that’s what made people consider Neji a genius as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I always thought that hitting the Tenketsu was something relatively easy for the Hyūga Clan because of their eyes but apparently, despite how good their eyes are it still very difficult to perceive the Tenketsu because of how small it is and it’s difficult to accurately hit it as well. I also thought hitting the chakra pathways and the nodes were the same thing and has similar damage. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Lol.
This was a lot to take in, but yeah I don't really disagree with what you said, and it's interesting food for thought.

Top 15 Books of 2022
Another year has gone by and me, despite stress, work and studies managed to read 51 books this year, finishing the last one exactly on the 31st of December. Here is my Top 15 Recommendations for 2022. Why 15? Because I read more nice books than I expected and I couldn't narrow it down to just 10.
15. Three Body Problem Series - Liu Cixin
Tumblr media
Now I know what you're thinking. This sci-fi masterpiece only made it to number 15? But let me explain, the problem is not the book, but me. In the Three Body Problem (book 1) Earth is threatened by a realistic depiction of an alien invasion set in motion by a misanthropic astronomer, which leads to a grand narrative, bigger than I can fit in a single Tumblr post. In book 2, The Dark Forest, Liu Cixin continues the story as humanity prepares itself for the invasion. Book 3, Death's End, which is by many considered the best and in which science fiction and fantasy start to overlap, big questions about the meaning of existence are speculated by the author in a magnificent, incomprehensible ending, which transcends my understanding of the series. The series is excellent, but the reason why I ranked it lower than other novels, is because I simply struggled to understand the many scientific concepts which we being discussed and the elaborate scenes which connected to the next books. For lovers of hard sci-fi, who have a better understanding of physics than me, I'd highly recommend it. I feel I need to properly sit and take notes to fully understand the series and maybe even do research on many topics before I fully capture its brilliance. I might give it another shot in the future.
14. I'm Going to Live - Lale Gul
Tumblr media
This is an autobiography written by a Turkish woman who grew up in a conservative Muslim household and her experiences with her surroundings. The novel has been highly controversial in the Netherlands and the author even doubts whether she wants translations to be made, as her life is being threatened sharing her experiences. Because of this, I recommend reading it. It showcases the hardships she went through in an immigrant household, in which she felt she did belong in anywhere. Major respect for her writing such a poignant biography about her struggles.
13. The Secret History - Donna Tart
Tumblr media
This has been the dark academia book we've all been recommended by Tiktok and yes, it is amazing, it is dark, it is gothic, it is dramatic. And yet, it did not leave me fully satisfied at the end. I loved the premise, I loved the characters, I loved the idea behind the book and I'd say the book accomplished most of its goals, but there were other moments where it fall flat. The role of their Greek professor, the underdeveloped personality of the protagonist, the long drawn out scenes of them simply sitting and smoking or drinking. Yeah, if Tart had cut down the book to 250 pages, it would've been probably my favorite book of the year, but it dragged on a bit too much. Still, can't deny the talent of the author and her excellent prose.
12. Why Fish Don't Exist - Lulu Miller
Tumblr media
Sometimes it's not about whether the book is right, but whether you found it at the right time. If you're in your 20s, struggling with your job or studies, feeling alone and isolated, this book feels like a warm blanket. It's a semi-biography of the biologist David Starr Jordan and the ways in which the author intertwines her own experiences with her fascination for this person. It's a simple read, comforting read, which confronts you with some ugly truths, but ultimately, tries to make you stand stronger in the face of hardship.
11. Crazy Rich Asians - Kevin Kwan
Tumblr media
Wanna know what would happen if Sex and the City took place in Singapore, except even more crazy and rich? Then this is the novel for you. A hilarious, dramatic and exciting story about several rich Chinese Singaporean elites and their daily lives, qualms and love lives. Finished it in one go and had several moments where I laughed out loud. Definitely a fun read! (By the way, the movie doesn't do the book enough justice. Read the book!)
10. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe - Benjamin Alire Saénz
Tumblr media
A coming of age story of two Latin-American teenagers who slowly start to develop feelings for each other. It explores themes of queerness and homosexuality in the Latin community. A brilliant depiction of gay love from a talented writer.
9. The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Tumblr media
It's amazing how many metaphors about love, loss, life and the art of never growing up Saint-Exupéry managed to fit into this tiny novel. It even moved me to get a tattoo of the fox and the little prince as a reminder to appreciate those around you and to never grow old and bitter.
8. I'm Glad My Mom Died - Jenette McCurdy
Tumblr media
Remember the girl from iCarly? She wrote a bestseller which skyrocketed her as an author. The novel is a autobiography about the life of Jenette McCurdy as she grew up trying to make it in the show business, mostly to please her obsessive and authoritative mother. It discusses self harm, depression, loneliness, alienation, body dysphoria, the need to succeed and much more. In this novel McCurdy showed that she is not only a talented actress, but an even more brilliant author. At the end of the novel, even I have to admit I was glad her mom died.
7. Crying in H Mart - Michelle Zauner
Tumblr media
Another biography by a well known artist. This time the singer of the indie band Japanese Breakfast. The story is about Michelle's upbringing as someone who had a Korean mother and an American father. Most of the first half of the story is about the frustrations she had with her mother who didn't understand her and the way they slowly drifted apart. The second half is a deep psychological analysis of herself and the way she dealt with unmet expectations from her mother, her grief over losing her and finding comfort in the Korean dishes they used to eat together at H Mart. A bitter sweet tale about a first and second generation Koreans clashing and the way that shaped Michelle Zauner as a artist, but even more, as a person.
6. The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
Tumblr media
I've only seen the movie in 2014 and all I remembered was the song at the end of the credits by Charli XCX, so you can say I'm late to the party by picking this book up in 2022, but damn. I know there's been some severe criticism of this book, but there's one thing the book really excelled at: the romance. I rarely enjoy reading romantic stories, because they tend to be repetitive in tropes and themes and, from what I've heard, this book has its own unrealistic depictions of romance. But... I don't know, but somehow the novel just got under my skin. I loved the dynamics between Hazel and Augustus and cried at the end. It's one of those books you never forget.
5. Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
Tumblr media
As someone experiencing alienation and status anxiety in the modern times, I felt it was time to reread this English classic to see if it held up as well as when I read it in my teenage years. And boy, it did not only hold up, but it blew me away. The philosophical discussion about choosing between freedom and a life of conformity is more relevant than ever and my guess is, that it will stay relevant for a long time. After reading it, it kept me thinking about where we're heading in our current society. Are we even free? Or is it good enough to make people think they are? And if we become fully free, is a life as a Savage desirable? Excellent choice to keep you awake at night and ponder the political climate of our times.
4. Girl, Interrupted - Susanna Kaysen
Tumblr media
One of the front runners of the 'unhinged woman' trend that we're seeing in modern literature. (Think 'Bunny' by Mona Awad or 'My Year of Rest and Relaxation' by Ottessa Moshfegh.) Except for Susanna, her autobiography isn't a trend; it's a description of the hardships she endured in a mental ward for women during the '60s. It's a book you can finish in a single sitting and which reminds you not so long ago we treated our mentally ill as the clinically insane.
3. Flowers in the Attic - V.C. Andrews
Tumblr media
Once again, I'm late to the party. I've seen many posts of girls who secretly read this scandalous novel in middle school, their parents unaware of the insane story V.C. Andrews had crafted. And yes, the story is insane. It's about four children, an older brother and sister and their twin siblings, who lose their father and whose mother decides she will take them to her rich family to demand her part of the inheritance. All sounds well, except that upon arrival the children are all locked up in the attic, until the mother deems the coast to be clear. What follows is a shocking and outrageous story of survival in the attic, in which the older brother and sister start to act like parents to their younger siblings in more ways than one...
2. Circe - Madeline Miller
Tumblr media
I've reread this book again and it was my number one favorite book of 2020. And, what can I say? It has witchcraft, feminism, magic, Greek mythology, descriptive colorful prose, revenge, love, regret and drama. A cocktail which seemed to be measured to the millimeter to satisfy my personal thirst for a great literary fiction. It has everything I love and didn't even know I loved. I can't recommend it enough. I've heard Madeline Miller is currently working on her third novel, a story about Hades and Persephone and I'll be the first in line to get it from my local library.
1. My Dark Vanessa - Kate Elizabeth Russell
Tumblr media
Boy, what an unexpected way to end 2022. Just as I thought the year was nearing, I found my favorite book mere days before the fireworks would be launched and I literally devoured it. The story is about a 15 year old girl named Vanessa who gets accepted in a prestigious high school and subsequently is groomed by her English teacher. The book references 'Lolita' by Nabokov several times and the intertextuality it conveys is eery to say the least. This book takes Nabokov's work and completely flips it on its head, showing the tragic effects the sexual relationship, which Vanessa desperately romanticizes as a way to justify it (by, for example, drawing parallels between herself and the singer Fiona Apple), has on the life of single individual. The novel jumps back and forth between Vanessa as a teenager and Vanessa as an adult and how one man has the capability to completely take over and destroy the life of lonely, insecure girl. What makes the book even more tragic is that Vanessa denies being abused until the very end, despite the reader obviously seeing how the teacher has changed her future for the worst. It's not for the faint of heart and it's definitely not meant to be seen as a love story. It's a tragic tale of losing yourself in another without the support of anyone to guide you. It's my absolute favorite book of 2022 and it haunts me even days after finishing it.

Tails and Eggman
For the Ask Game, please
Tails ✨
Tumblr media
Canon did Tails so dirty 😭💦 he's not a character I'm particularly into, but I do enjoy his setting of being a young genius fox with his self-doubt & insecurities sometimes, and looks up to Sonic for all the reasons. In SA1, he tried to prove himself through various means, at least in Lost World he's still trying his best to help Sonic. (even tho the drama between him & Sonic came out of nowhere, it's not like Sonic looked down on him? 😭) But later on in Forces, Tails only looked pathetic when they kept on enhancing the incecurities into straight up "inability to fight", I get that they're trying to make a very kid friendly story where the concepts of good and evil, hero and sidekick(s) are very clear and simple, but they can definitely do a much better job, such as having Tails stand in a defensive pose, cautious of the phantom-made Chaos before Classic Sonic came? Heck, standing there would be easier for the animators to do as well. If they don't wanna do the characters justice, they might as well skip doing them at all. 🥱
But Tails as himself still has lots of potential! A game character doesn't always have to be top-notch in fighting and saving the day, and I think Tails's abilities can definitely give him lots of advantage in any aspect. It's like an engineer creating all kinds of gadgets and tools and have your creations do all the work for you, you can do fighting/healing/defending/buffing etc... that's the badass part I wanna see from Tails more ✨
Eggman 🥚
Tumblr media
Particularly indifferent to Eggman except my thoughts of animating him doing sexy pole-dancing lives rent free in my head 👀💦
He does have a very iconic look tho, helps with inspiring me on art related fields... But let's talk about his character 😅
Despite not being into the movies' portrayal 100%, they did help me gain a better look on Eggman. His motivations for world domination & Eggmanland were established to be linked to his past, developing this twisted mindset of a villain. While 'turning evil due to past events' leans more on the cliche side, it does work in having Eggman became more believable in my head. He got his brain, and his ego that motivates him in wanting to make use of his smarts to the fullest, while also taking revenge on a world that does not stand with his supiority over the rest of them. He's evil & he'll take every opportunity to prove so 💨
Eggman might be the one I enjoy more in Frontiers, even tho I did not get his relationship with Sage. Him taking that giant pistol and shot Sonic to the moon was pretty badass to see, definitely carried much more charm than simply holding out their hands to hold the shield like the other characters. It showed him as someone with ambitious ideas when in comparison.
But still, I don't have that much opinions about Eggman, except that he should lean more into the evil side than the 'relatable' side. Imo, he would not have the "what have I done to you?😭" "I did not ask for this🥺" mindset, he should already know what he's doing & is having fun with stirring up shit when he wants to. He only victimizes himself when he needs to convince ppl to do evil with him. (eg Knuckles being told Sonic was attacking him & was planning to steal emeralds)...and the reason why he hates Sonic so much is not too much on Sonic's motivation to defeat him, but the fact that he actually got defeated. See it as a huge toll on his immense ego.
Also, fans getting the toxic relationship between Eggman and Sage as heartwarming & wholesome is a huge loss. It's straight up ppl getting core values of what makes a family wrong. The effort of trying to appeal to the 'found family' trend is also not enjoyable to watch, almost felt like they have a whole checklist of gimmicks when writing the dialogues. Don't get me wrong, I like Eggman and Sage as their own character. They work together good as well, even when Sage do think themselves as a family deep down. But trying to drive the 'they're a wholesome family!✨✨' mindset into the audience is mockery towards Sage's complicated emotions towards Eggman who did create her, but did not give her validation as a living being, but treat her as a tool, and then the potential manipulation when Eggman did say she was his daughter, straight up. Idk, I wished that ppl see them as family in a skeptical way than actually rooting for their father-daughter dynamic. At this point I can only try convince myself that found family is only a funny meme. 😐

New Post has been published on http://literaryends.com/hgblog/the-power-citadel-two-amazon-misses-ish/
The Power & Citadel (Two Amazon Misses-ish)
[3 stars]
Sometimes ideas are better than their shows. Amazon recently added two to its arsenal that were just good enough to watch, but more than a little flawed in their delivery. In the case of The Power, the story and implications overrode the flaws by a narrow margin. In the case of Citadel… not as much.
The Power
While the better of these two shows by far, this is not a subtle show on any level. It’s an in-your-face physical metaphor for female empowerment, and often the lack of it. It borders on revenge fantasy, but given the state of the world I can’t really blame Naomi Alderman (Disobedience) for this self-adaptation of her book. It’s a wide-eyed reminder of reality viewed on a global scale.
The problem with the lack of subtlety is that it often slips into arch presentation which diminishes the point and credibility. While that may work in a book, it is less effective on screen (large or small). The show may continue on in another season to be something more like a reverse mirror of Handmaid’s Tale. However, at the moment, even with a solid cast, it’s simply teeth-grindingly written at times. Not just in the dialogue, but also the forced character choices.
I didn’t know the book going in. And though the blurb was intriguing, it was the cast that initially got my attention. Toni Collette (Nightmare Alley) top lines this ensemble. The other main points of contact are Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso), Ria Zmitrowicz (Teen Spirit), Zrinka Cvitesic,  and new-comer and tightly controlled Halle Bush. Each very different facets of the world and issues for women.
On the male side, Eddie Marsan (Vesper), John Leguizamo (Violent Night), and Josh Charles (Away) each bring different aspects of toxic masculinity, even while some are also “supportive.” Again, none of this is subtle, but also little is unfair or untrue at the core.
But that is, again, part of the problem. If you’re going to bring a problem to the screen that you want people to learn from or feel empowered by, you have to give them something more than what they already know to rally around. In The Power it is literally the “power” made manifest. But it’s just too obvious for a series…at least as stretched out over so many long episodes that turn out only to be prelude to the more interesting tale to come. I’d definitely come back to see if the story can be nurtured into something more, but this initial season had a little too little progression, despite its scope.
Citadel
The Citadel, on the other hand, tries way too hard to be clever and ends up being ridiculous. It’s purpose as a show, we find out at the end, is really to set up an anthology of series, each from different operatives in some way. I can’t say I’m all that intrigued as the writing was painful, even if found all the Brits and Aussies and Kiwis doing solid American accents entertaining.
I will say, though they weren’t well used, they did land a great cast for the inaugural story. From Stanley Tucci (Jolt), Richard Madden (1917), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Baywatch), and Lesley Manville (Magpie Murders) in the main driving roles to Miss Fisher alumn Ashleigh Cummings in a solid supporting role, no one wasn’t working hard. But the script and direction did none of them any favors.
The story itself is a clever idea, and the writers try to cover over the silly aspects of it as best they can. But it swings wildly between action and absurd with very smart people making very stupid choices. And the world itself is rife with contradictions of facts that are presented to us at different times. I will grant the show that it often didn’t take the easy route for solutions at least.
Basically, watch for the action and, should it attract you, the romance. Don’t expect brilliance, at least in this opening entry to the anthology. Whether they can save this or offer something better, only time will tell.

Caius being soft for his mate mate, like an Alice and Jasper situation, but instead of helping with Jaspers hunger, it’s Caius’ anger, thank yous💕
Hello dear 💖 sorry if this was short but I hope you enjoy ☺️.
Caius volturi X queen reader 🧛‍♂️👸
Of kings and queens 👸
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kings and queens always rise, rise to power and domination, they normally do rise higher and higher until they fall.
My sophisticated darling always had anger issues; he was normally known as the hot-headed king. I mean who could blame him, no gift, not in charge and of course blood thirsty. Sometimes I do worry that he may end up snapping one day and I’ll be the one whom will clean up his mess. I’ve heard it all before:
“Mortals are foolish”
“My brother doesn’t get it, mortals are slaves”
“We should’ve killed Bella and that idiotic sad Cullen”
“Why must he rave about Carlisle”
“don’t speak to me I’m busy”
It’s always as if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, if he were able to sleep it would be funny to see my husband with messy bed hair. I do sympathise with most mortals; I do think it was due to my kind side although I can be ruthless when I want to be. Oh, I do remember what our first dance was like the two of us with simply no power nor pressure to surround us:
“My dear y/n may I have this dance” Caius asked y/n “Oh I thought you would never ask. Y/n’s hair was pulled down to her shoulders, her feet bare and her eyes were bright crimson. Caius wore black as his robes dragged along the ground of the floor. Y/n grabbed her husband’s hand “shall I be the one to start” She raised an eyebrow. “If you want but I believe It’s traditional If I start” He takes the lead as y/n slowly turns to the rhythm.
“My Regina your stunning” Caius spun y/n “il mio re” the two spun in a rhythmic dance. The king and his queen were taking the spotlight. “I do hope you remain mine for eternity” Caius spoke with a soft husk “always”.
Those were the days; might I add when he was less angry but that was back before he met his brothers. I never really admired their Ideals and beliefs; we shouldn’t harm the living just for our satisfaction. Despite my thoughts I always never spoke out against them, I didn’t want to die.
My husband walked through the halls as I read, books have changed over the years including romance. My favourites are the tragedies, Marcus should really write a book about his life it would be quite the story to tell. “Fools all of them” I heard Caius mutter to himself in anger. “What is it this time my king” I walked up to him with a smile “as if they don’t know what the Cullen’s are capable of, prancing around with a human that won’t turn, it will expose us” Caius sneered.
“My dear your brother is a smart man; he wouldn’t be played for a fool” I placed my hands on his shoulders. “That mortal won’t keep the secret, she’ll expose us” Caius knew better then to even try to raise his voice at me. “She will, have faith after all your anger is quite obnoxious” I turn to him with a smile “do you remember when we first came here, you became a king”. Caius rolled his eyes “of course I remember, did you think I would even forget” I glided in front of him, I slid my fingers onto his cheeks “I saw an ambitious young man that wanted power and treated his queen like she was his universe”.
Caius’s crimson eyes softened as I smiled “Indeed my darling and that’s when I chose you to be my mate”. I perked my lips towards his “we live a life of power, don’t be focused on your anger or it will cease us” I pressed my soft lips upon his. “I will…work on it for you” Caius whispered “Indeed your brothers always complain about your moods” I laughed.
“Shall we dance like we used to” I held his hand “I do miss the days we would have those parties”. Caius slowly moved with me as my crimson red eyes followed along “we were the best, as they would call us fire and ice”. He stopped feeling calmer than usual, “I have another trial to attend to”.
“His anger was the state of the years overgrowing, but with my help he shall become calmer even if it takes another century”.
Anyways that's all I have for now:
