Selfishly thinking that Orion could be persuaded to act in one of the band music video. Just once.
Anyway, go play @infamous-if cause it’s amazing!
Little bonus, I put the rambly scenario that sprouted these under the cut in case you wanna know more 🤷♀️
It’s got to be a team effort and a chore to get Orion on board but somehow they manage to convince him in the end(cause he got a soft spot). In my head the idea was Violet and Rowan’s, Iris jumped right in cause it sounded fun and then Jazzy and Devyn joined in. Chris tagged along too cause heck yeah. They all come up with a list of pros and cons cause they know that Orion will fight against it, but thanks to Devyn they come up with sound and logical enough reasons. Rowan and Violet do the presentation and after a lot of debate, Orion accept in the end to everyone (and his own) disbelief. The video is a success, the views count gets higher and half the comment are about Orion. The band tease him relentlessly and Orion swears never again. The end.

The frustrating part about conversations like "should people with self-harm scars warn others before showing off their body?" and conversations like it is how nobody would tell me that my scars are obscene or should be hidden despite, literally, being self-harm scars. They just do not know because people literally do not know what self-harm scars are and what self-harm is.
Our bodies are not vulgar or gross. We deserve to live our lives, and if our scars make you uncomfortable, we can be compassionate about that, but that doesn't mean that our bodies are Bad and should be Locked Away. Treat us like we belong, because we do.

I’ve been making Bungou Stray Dogs Spotify playlists and I had put High Infidelity by Taylor Swift on my soukoku breakup playlist (thinking it would be from Dazai’s pov), and I just found out that Chuuya’s birthday is April 29th!!! Which totally changes the way I think about the song with soukoku!!

other shows musical episodes have nothing on doctor who's. one very repetitive song, existing almost entirely in the narration, a part from when two of the main characters a forced to give a performance of it at gunpoint. peak television or borderline unwatchable, who's to say

If Jason's resurrection in owl song goes down similar to canon (Talia dropping him in the Lazarus pit) Talia better get him back to dick pronto. She does not want to end up like joker for keeping dicks little wing from him.
Phew, yeah. She’d definitely have to alter her approach to the situation accordingly!
Although the real obstacle here would be curbing Jason’s resentment (heightened by the impromptu Pit dip) towards the family after being ‘replaced’ 👀

something about bo burnham songs…they groove directly into my psyche and make a little home there.
maybe its the combination of melody and flawless rhyme on a sentence i could spend years unpacking and not be able to fully articulate or understand the emotion it makes me feel? but once i think of one of his songs i have to listen to it immediately and usually play it over and over again and maybe scribble some of the lyrics down in a notebook like a madwoman.
it’s like cocomelon to me

What is the "Lenore" folk song?
Take what I say with a grain of salt because I've only read a few of the ballads and one paper about them (which I would love to link, if only it was in English), but, in general it seems to have been a folktale/folksong widespread in the area of Germany and Poland that the Romantics in both countries latched on to and made their own versions of.
Tw: slight horror and implied demonic activity in the summary.
To recount the story (I'm roughly basing it on the polish ballad by Adam Mickiewicz which I know best), it begins with a girl (in other versions named Lenore), who receives news her lover is dead in some war or other. Her family wants her to get over him; the girl fights this. First she mopes, then she blasphemes, then she meets up with a witch of sorts, who promises to being her lover back.
Cue a rider with horse arriving at the gates in the dead of the night. The girl runs away with him. They ride a long whiles (at this point several comments tend to be made on how "the dead ride fast", or asking the girl if she's not afraid), the rider three times asking Lenore to throw away her prayerbook, cross/crucifix and rosary (I think these three, in the polish version at least, but anyway, religious objects) because they impede him in some way. In a striking display of lacking in genre-awareness (or even awareness of basic spiritual realities, I'd say), the girl sees nothing alarming in this, and follows through with his demands. Pursuant to which, they arrive at their destination, which to her surprise turns out to be a graveyard. Fire flashes from inside the rider and he takes the girl into the grave, the end.
