All it took was trying to draw in the style one time for me to decide that me personally, I enjoy the vibe of the Be Cool art style, it's goofy and silly and fun and I had great time trying to capture it. Except Scooby himself, because his proportions confused me and it stressed me out

Honestly, it was a long time coming. Your actor AU is one of my all time fav AU's I've personally come across, and I always adore seeing what new stuff you've put up on your blog when you can. Whether it be text or images, I love seeing and reading them. You put a lot into it, and I enjoy seeing what you whip up in your art as well. It is a very nice and cute style to me.

I just, enjoy seeing your world building and thought you put into it, through the ask and illustrations you add. In fact, I even watched The Happy Time Murders (admittingly not great in story and way to immature humor for my normal taste, but has its upsides in puppetry and world building) just to get more background and ideas of how you were making this, and boy, are you scratching the worldbuidling itch that was left with me after watching it.

Aside from that, I also relate to some of the stuff you talk about, like your confidence in your art. It is nice to be reminded that we all have those doubts, even when subjectively the art is very nice. It just might be an artist thing, whether you're a professional or a hobbiest, to see how good everyone else's work is but your own at times.

Sorry if I'm a bit wordy, but I just like to gush sometime. I have been learning that I can tend to be a bit quiet on stuff I adore and enjoy, so giving my fave blogs a reminder that there are those like me who enjoy stuff kinda silently feels nice.

I’ve stared at your words for a while and even now as I try, the words still escape my mind. I can’t help but find your comment very comforting and reassuring to hear that my effort is visible, even if it’s only a hobby. I don’t usually have people looking my way so this is very weird to me, and I know there’s many AU’s to choose from, I’m just glad people spend the time to look through mine.

The other Power-ups work differently to the Fire/Ice flowers..

Any power-ups that transform the bros bodies usually expend energy by just keeping them transformed. And even if the bros don't actively use that power, it'll eventually just drain itself away.

For example, the super shroom. Making Mario grow big and keeping him big consumes power. If he ate a super shroom and just stood there, eventually he would shrink back to normal. Running around. jumping, punching, that activity would make it drain faster though.

Same goes for the Super bell, mini mushroom, mega mushroom, super leaf, double cherry,,, etc. Just keeping the bros transformed consumes power. The fire/ice flowers don't transform the bros though. Mario and Luigi's bodies stay the same, they just become outlets to expel the flowers power. And if they don't use it.. well.. its gonna stay stored up in their bodies. And eventually freeze/burn them to death..

The only odd case when it comes to Power-ups is the 1-Up mushroom. It stores itself in the host's body, and doesn't effect the host or release its power unless it needs too. Mario could touch a 1-Up, and then 15 years later he dies and that's when the 1-Up will release its power. All though those 15 years Mario would have had 0 side effects from having it in his body. Its as if it didn't exist at all..

Hmm,, I haven't really thought too much about them other than the stuff I already talked about in the OG post..

But I was thinking that the imp species could have all these wacky and bizarre shapes at the end of their tails that dont really make sense..? Jevil's tail being this odd T/Y shape is actually rather bland/common. But other than that,, I cant really think of any other developments to their species <:/ Sorry! If any of the three Octodads were to experience a hallucination, it would probably be either Natquik or Calico Jack. But since I'm going through a re-write of Natquik's backstory and I don't actually know how traumatizing his re-write will be... I'm gonna say that Calico Jack is most likely to have one.

Although I'm not sure what would cause it.. mayyybe an encounter with a creature in the everglades could remind him of a traumatizing experience he had..? And that panic could result in hallucinations? I actually know very little about how hallucinations work so its hard to say what would exactly trigger one to occur.. <:(

I have plans for them to encounter a lot of Kwazii's monsters in someway. :0

I don't know if its necessarily pain..? More like.. a panic attack maybe?

When they're separated, their systems are flooded with commands to seek out the other. And if they cant find th.em or reach them? Well.. those commands will get overwhelming.

But that doesn't mean that you cant do maintenance on them. My idea was that there's a simple procedure where you take both of them to parts and service, put one aside and put one on the work bench.. and then shut them both down at the same time. Then when the work is done, reactivate both of them and return them to their room. Easy!

As for why they designed them like this? The main idea I had was that having this A.I. meant that they would naturally follow each other around in a way that seemed natural. Fazbear entertainment really wanted their animatronics to seem life like, but they also don't want Fred and Spring to ever separate. They want them to always be in the same room for photo shoots and meet and greets.

This A.I. means that if Spring is talking to a guest and a kid tried to lead Fred by the hand to another room.. Fred would stop at the doorway and redirect himself and the kid back into the room. "Lets play here instead!" "My friends Spring Bonnie is here, lets play here instead!" Meanwhile Springs conversation remains uninterrupted. This in turn makes them seem more life like and also prevents them from seperating.

Its not very strong reasoning but its all I've got to be honest <XDD

Also as for Spring loosing Fred..? It would be impossible for him to function without Fred. If they scrapped one, they'd have to scrap the other..

🧡 Composite Cancer Mercury: aw very sweet. Though, we were much like emotional crybabies around each other. You know how teenagers are sensitive about everything? But veryyy comforting and reassuring of each other through words. We definitel had mum and daddy, sorry dad theme going on😂😅. Calling “golden boy” too came natural.

🧡 Composite Gemini Moon: people constantly said we look similar. Similar clothing, style, hairstyle, hair colour etc. We were constantly talking, but were often interrupted by other people. We only hang for short time periods at once. We would hang for 3 hours and then don’t see each other for a month and a half, only talking through instant messaging.

🧡 Composite Aquarius Sun: love from a distance at first. I was very scared to approach him (he seemed so in his own landed, unapproachable and detached/cold) and tried to be a flirty friend first. Lovely, but seriously calling him weirdo as a nickname from the start until end. Roles were pretty much reversed. I could’ve have crushed this softer, feminine side he had, but this was such pure, naive, quirky human being that was socially awkward that we rather became misfits together. Again, he was very in tune with his feminine side. I had to constantly be the initiator, the one that is straight-forward.

🧡 Composite Pisces Moon: it can get a bit dellusional at times. I was not a huge fan of this placement, because of projections of ideas, feelings and ideals. But I will also try to focus on the positive. You will read books, poems, interviews to each other. But you will also tell each other a lot of STORIES, even those from your own personal lives.

🧡 Composite Scorpio Rising: people you have Scorpio Rising with might move close to you at some point. They will literally be “in your face”. Like they could move to your neighbourhood, area.

🧡 Composite Aries Moon: so like you imagine this was reallyy NOT platonic. It was funny, because people usually perceived me with other romantic partners before as the more passive one. But NOT with this Composite Aries Moon. From the outside it seemed like I’m very much in charge of the relationship. Pretty much other women were very jealous of this connection with this guy too. However, from my personal point of view, it definitely felt like we are equals and both very own strong individuals (Aries Moon). Yet, those around us still saw ME as the one in charge and would often disregard him or his opinion. He was also more in touch with his feminine side than me, so I was kind of “the defender” in the relationship. It definitely felt like roles was a bit reversed at time, but he was a strong women supporter and I also bought HIM flowers and tried to fight for his “equality” in some situation. I was more playfully, childlike and childish than my usual self with him, because I was so comfortable emotionally. Though, this might be also because we was younger.

🧡 Composite Chiron in the 1st house: ehh yea, I’m still trying to gather more positives with this one. But this one can leave you drained. You will feel physical pain whenever you see them or run into them again and I think this is because it’s connected to its 1st house. You will struggle finding confidence to even continue talking to them. Sometimes they can seem so out of your league or just really different or in their own world.

🧡 Libra Venus: in wore A LOT of dresses and skirts in that relationship. It’s like I changed my wardrobe to only summer dressed and skirts. I can’t explain enough or even properly put it into words how WOMANLY this man made me feel like. I was ready to throw all feminism away😂. No, but really, I felt so feminine, accepted as a woman around him. I even became more soft-spoken. Also this Composite placement reminds me of Lana del Rey and her “You can be the boss” song.

🧡 Composite Capricorn Sun: I kinda really liked that! It was with a really good friend of mine and we met in school and have known each other for years. It was really more of a romantic, soft connection at times. HOWEVER, one thing that was really present and obvious was that he was a traditionalist. He believed that men shouldn’t be so preoccupied with their physical appearance and found being too good-looking as a man a bit ridiciolous. I definitely sensed some double standards too. He really had clear ideas as to what women should be doing. He was very thrifty and NOT a spender. He prefered piling up money or spend it on big investments, like cars (especially old cars). All in all, he was really mindful of the COMMUNITY and society as a whole and really cared about people. Lack of ego too. He tried to treat everyone as equally as possible. He saw his father as someone who is not good with words or doesn’t have anything interesting to add.

🧡 Composite Scorpio Moon: ahh yess, the sexual awakening✨ Or if you are not feeling it for the first time, at least you will be overflowing with totally new feelings of lust, strong sexual desire and deep emotions. You might mastrubate to this person’s image. Sometimes as simple as thinking of this person you will have strong urges of lust and longing. i'm sorry to bother you, i just came across your blog and i'm so shocked with how amazing your sims look. i play sims 3 but my sims look pretty average and my screenshots don't look great, can you please if it's possible explain how your sims look so beautiful like this? (specifically this post hiddenspriings/742135415348330496) like, how do your sims look that good? is that a default skin? and how do they have those shadows on their faces etc, is that editing or reshade? can you please explain deeply? i'm sorry i'm asking for many things, i'm just a noob and i really get confused looking at these beautiful posts wondering how to make my sims look cool like that too!!

I don't even know where to start asdfghjkl 😅 developing a sim style is honestly a journey and when I joined simblr my sims looked like potatoes too, it takes time and effort to actively work on that 'skill' if I might call it that. With that often comes the dissatisfaction of your progress and how your sims look, and sometimes you just have to stop yourself and enjoy the ride, without looking around at what others are doing. Anyways, into actual 'tips':

I think you need to figure out where you stand when it comes to cc (it's not really a need but it's gonna help I guess). I like the look of very simple maxis match skins (I have those linked on my resources page) and very often alpha makeup cc layered on top. I personally don't really like how alpha skins look like on my sims (they usually have much more depth to them but since I’m not into that I can’t recommend anything) so everything you see on them - highlights, blushes, shadows etc. is just makeup cc. For those I recommend: blushes 1 2 3 4 shadows & highlights 1(!) 2(!) 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (+ tifa’s stuff here). Add them on top of each other and bam! suddenly your sim isn’t so flat faced anymore (little note here, I often use ‘blushes’ as shadows as well depending on their placement ;)

If you are interested in what I personally use as defaults check my resources page. I also have all the skins and eyes cc I use linked there. My advice would be to also check other simblrs’ resources as well, there are some well hidden gems there that otherwise I wouldn’t be able to find on my own.

But If you are new to sims 3 you might ask: hey, how do you layer cc if you can only apply one for the category in cas? Well...Get yourself nraas master controller if you haven't already. With that mod you can increase the number of sliders which give you freedom of creating more diverse looking sims and assign multiple makeup per location. I won't explain how to do it here as there are multiple guides online, just google your question :) - I even saw great guides on youtube! It might seem like a lot at first but believe me, nraas along with its many modules will save you a lot of time and hussle.

Lastly, part of the posting process here on simblr is editing and I cannot lie that my sims don’t benefit on that. I use reshade with mxao which enhance colors and shadows (check my f.a.q page for links) and smooth out pictures further with photoshop tools.

Now I’m gonna expose myself a little, this is from left to right: the oldest sim in my folder currently (I’d say this is my late 2022 style), my newest sim and my newest sim with reshade on (but no further editing).

It’s a shame I don’t have access to my very first sims in sims 3 to really compare them but I think even here you can see the difference. So do not get discouraged, it will take a time and dedication like any other hobby but you’ll get where you want to be eventually :)

We have roughly 150 episodes of UtahLIVE, and although most of them can be read out of order, there is a timeline (plus it would be more convenient for new readers. Some people might say that having a drastic height difference could be a bit too much and that one partner may end up feeling insecure. Bachira Meguru didn't think so. Bachira never really gave a second thought to his height nor does he care that if some might call him short - it was never a concern. But one thing he will admit is that he absolutely adores your height and how you tower over him and everyone else in the class.

The silly crush started out so small that Bachira didn't even realize it evolved into something more until the day he memorized all your small habits. He took notice of how you had to slouch more than the usual student because the small desks didn't accommodate your height. When lunch came around, you were always the first one to get up and spend at least five minutes stretching out your limbs before running to the first-floor cafe. If there was an out-of-reach item, you were essentially the designated person to go to.

And he memorized your flustered profile - the way the blood rushed to your ears, how you shuffled awkwardly and tried to cover your face with your fingers - when he first confessed to you.

"I like you, do you wanna go out?"

He loved planning sleepovers with you when you guys were living separately, often too many times he's showing up to your doorstep with a bag filled with everything but a change in clothes just so he could steal your oversized ones. "Sorry that this keeps happening." He would say, but his infectious smile would give away his true intentions. When you guys felt comfortable taking the relationship to the next phase he suggested an apartment in the city. His kleptomaniac hands wouldn't leave your t-shirts alone after that.

Teasing and play fighting are common between the two of you, mainly because Bachira loves instigating and it always ends with him tangled between your long limbs. "I'm tired, let's just stay like this for the rest of the night, yeah?"

The only downside of the height difference is whenever photos have to be taken. It's either you take up the entire frame and he has to sacrifice his half or he has to find someone to take a full body shot that always ends up blurry because no one can hold a phone still enough these days.

"Hm, I don't look good in this one." You say, scrolling through the recently filled camera roll. "They made me look like a giant next to you, Meguru."

"Guess we'll have to hire a professional next time!" Bachira chimes and prays that you don't look through his phone history where he had recently purchased two shiny rings.

There are three things that most people know about Nagi Seishiro. One, he's basically a genius without even trying it's almost scary. Two, he doesn't really talk to anyone aside from Reo. Three, he is tall. Never does a day go by where he doesn't hear people whispering all the shallow reasons about how they're jealous of his stature - the common one being how it's the perfect height to gain a woman's attraction. But relationships weren't his concern, it wasn't even in the top five things that he cared about.

Not until you transferred to his school.

You immediately caught everyone's attention. You usually stand at the same height as his best friend but, due to your added platforms, you became the tallest student in the class. It wasn't a surprise soon after that everyone wanted to give you Valentine's Day chocolate, male and female students alike. You turned all of them down.

Strange, Nagi remembers thinking but he was glad that he had more breathing room now.

Before he knew it, you were slowly integrating into his circle - which really didn't consist of much but if Reo had taken a liking to you that must mean you're a good person.

"They're just like you, except more talkative." His best friend teased and Nagi couldn't help but grow curious.

The trio hangouts later turn into 'Reo forgot he had private tutoring again so I guess it's just us'. Which then turned into 'Let's hit up the arcade after classes' to 'Wanna study for this exam back at my place' to 'Wait, are we supposed to be kissing right now'?

Right, Nagi isn't used to the concept of being in a relationship.

He wasn't exactly sure what caused his initial attraction to you, but he was glad that he didn't have to strain his neck to kiss you, he was glad that he doesn't have to second guess about placing items around your shared living space since you can easily grab it, and he was glad that he can finally experience what's it like to be a little spoon.

"I gotta use the restroom, Sei."

Nagi groans in protest and tightens the grasp he has with your arms, sinking in deeper into your chest. "Five more minutes and then you can go."

Spending time with HiMERU in your home is usually just complete silence. In a comfortable way, at least. It wasn't something that made neither of you feel awkward. Bonus points is that, HiMERU typically prefers to stay in a quiet environment rather than a loud one, considering how his unit mates are.

"Meru, are you asleep?" — a question you'd often ask whenever your hand finds its way to gently fondle with his smooth, silky hair. He'd respond with a grumble, or with snores, there's no in-between.

This time, it was neither as he replied, "Mhm… keep going, love. HiMERU is getting comfortable."

Letting out a small giggle, and continued to invest yourself into the show that HiMERU had put on earlier but had quickly forgotten about it and laid his head on your lap instead to get comfortable, you didn't even notice how you tugged on the tucked part of his hair and started to braid it.

"Are you braiding HiMERU's hair?" He asked, brushing his hand against yours with a soft smile on his face.

Quickly, you let go of his hair in surprise. "Huh? I was? I didn't even realize… haha, sorry."

HiMERU shakes his head and frowned in disapproval. You stared at him with an apologetic expression, assuming that he was upset about it until he placed your hand back onto his hair.

"I didn't ask you to stop…" You exhaled, and made your way to style his hair into a neat braid once again and finishing up by securing it with a silly pink hairtie with a small bow.

HiMERU huffs in satisfaction and closed his eyes with his arms crossed. "Thank you, my love."

"Oi! MERUMERU, you finally arrived. Jeez, what took ya so long?" Rinne scoffed, slapping the man's back a couple of times and immediately came to an halt once he notices something different around his dear friend.

Hello hello, citizens, comrades, and companions of the MCYT fandom variety!

This is an interest check poll.

For what, you might ask? Well, have you ever heard of a Kink Meme?

"Knight, what the Hell is a Kink Meme", I hear you ask.

A Kink Meme, as some of the more ancient among us might remember, is a relic of Ye Olden Fandom Times: a magical congregation of anonymous lovers of fiction to exchange prompts and works, usually on blogging platforms like LiveJournal. Someone asks for a prompt fill, which can be anything! It can be just asking for a ship, or having a very specific plot bunny that you just want someone else to write, and someone else sees that prompts, likes it, and writes it! And I want to organize a Dead Dove stamped Kink Meme all about MCYT, our little cubitos and their little stories.

"Okay, but does it Need to be Dead Dove? That stuff is kinda icky" Well... Kinda, yeah? It being icky is precisely why I want it to be a Dead Dove centered event. There are so many wonderful events all over the internet that focus on wholesome, nice content, but someplace as gruesome as MCYT(and its lore) can be, we all could use a place to write out our darkest fantasies.

"But wait, would that mean, like *that icky kink I don't like* would be allowed?" Yes. I'll tell you more, even *that icky ship you don't like* would be allowed. That is exactly why a Kink Meme stays anonymous, on both the prompter and filler angle: so that anyone can ask for whatever they would like with no fear of backlash, cancellation, or dogpiling. You can ask for and write anything at all: from the sweetest of fluff to the most problematic incest goreporn. That is the beauty of a Kink Meme. The only thing that wouldn't be allowed, and that is more out of a technicality than anything, is RPF. This is about the cubitos, after all!

"Wait, write? What about artists?" That's a bit complicated. I would love to be able to host artists as well, but that greatly undermines the whole "anonymity" thing, because, 1. hosting images on ao3 is hard, and 2. art styles are subject to being much more recognizable than writing styles. If someone has any ideas on how to host images anonymously, please do say so, I would love to let artists in on this!

"Okay, where would it be hosted?" I haven't decided yet! Surely there will be an anonymous collection on Ao3 for writers to post their works to, and a tumblr blog to admin the event and answer any questions users might have.

"When would it be hosted?" Hopefully in 2024.

"That sounds cool! Can I talk about it to my friends?" Eh, slow your horses there, bucko. Reblogging on tumblr? Totally fine! Sharing this in your friends-only discord server? Go for it! But, for the love of God, don't put it anywhere the actual CC's might see it. Don't put it on twitter, and dear God don't @ the creators about it. This isn't about them. It's about us, and the characters, and making weird stuff.

» There's only one word Uzui needs to use when he sees you use the mirror breathing technique for the first time, and it's that he's impressed. He's the only known sound breathing technique user, so seeing you make the same moves he does so flawlessly is outstanding.

» You'll get praised to the moon and back once when you two had dealt with that one pesky demon that made you fight in front of Uzui in the first place! He's not afraid to tell you how proud he is and how happy he is to have you as his boyfriend.

» Seriously, he won't stop talking about you and what you did to the other pillars, and that continues so long that even Gyomei had to ask Uzui to tone it down because they knew how much he loved you and how amazing your breathing technique was.

Gyomei

» While Gyomei is definitely impressed, he's more than worried about you if you're small or frail in any kind of way because rock breathing technique is hard to master, and it's even harder to be able to use it because it takes a lot of strength from its user.

» He won't stop checking on you after the coast is clear, and he's not afraid to carry you to the closest wisteria crest even if you tell him again and again that you're alright. (And it's honestly sweet of him!)

» Gyomei might let you use your mirror breathing technique on him again after some time, but even then, it's not 100% sure if he's actually going to let you do that or not. He wants his boyfriend to be safe and healthy!

Muichiro

» Muichiro is an airhead (I love you, son, no hard feelings), so he didn't realize what kind of moves you were making before he recognized that you were using the mist breathing technique.

» He's pretty weirded out by it in the beginning, especially because he doesn't remember anything about you mentioning this to him. (You did tell him about this, but he forgot about it in a few minutes.)

» Still, though! He's happy that you two can share a breathing technique because it makes training with each other a lot easier as well! It's easy to find mistakes in your technique when there's a person literally mirroring them from you.

While not as celebratory as October (MY B-DAY MONTH!) and not yet as festive as December, November is a month that’s always full of promises to me. It’s the month when I usually swear to myself I'll get everything done, so I can try to relax when it's Christmas time. While my productivity levels aren't as consistent as I'd like them to be, my will to be productive certainly is. I'm definitely a list kind of girl, loving making them just as much as I enjoy reading them in magazines and on archive blogs from the 2010s (classygirlswearpearls and rookie magazine, I’m looking at you guys). So what better way to start the month and try to get myself together than by writing a big ole' list? My November Guideline:

To be inspired

On TV: Spencer Hastings, Blair Waldorf, Tanner Hall

I may have only watched a season and a half of Pretty Little Liars, but that absolutely doesn't stop me from loving and pinning essentially every single outfit ever worn by Spencer Hastings on television, EVER. I love the way it's simultaneously classic and dated. I've never been one to fear a dated style or outfits that might one day make me sigh and go, "Oh my God, that was so ten years ago for me." I guess that's my way of contributing to history and experimenting with the millions of inspirations I'm constantly bombarded with via social media. I specifically love this aspect of her style, how she wears what she wants, what she loves, but always communicates a deep appreciation for a more traditional way of dressing.

A lot of the same things can be said about Blair. Again, a character from a TV series I haven't watched all the way through (I can't make it past the first few episodes of season 3, sorry!), who was a pillar of preppiness back in the day, and is still wildly beloved, despite having committed a few fashion faux pas in my opinion. The craziness of it all and even the grandma-ness of it all actually fascinate me about Blair's wardrobe. How she constantly projects a vision of who she needs to be. Spencer does the same, obviously, but with Blair, it's almost like she viewed every day of her life, every problem she needed to face, as a new plotline of an old movie that needed to unravel. For each plotline, she reacted as a different heroine would, and each heroine, naturally, expressed herself differently through fashion. I just love these characters she creates for herself, and I feel like I often have the same instinct to curate an outfit like that when getting ready.

Tanner Hall, directed by Diane von Fürstenberg's daughter, Tatiana, is in the same aesthetic line as the previous mentions. The movie is set in a quintessential New England boarding school, where beiges, browns, and muted greens seem to be the only existent colors. The whole wardrobe is gorgeous, designed by DVF, and the holy grail for all those who are obsessed with an old-time preppiness. While the movie's plot may be flawed, its attempt to portray the delicious whimsy and melancholy of a girlhood that tries to expand inside the claustrophobic gates of the school is genuine and comes from what, to me, is a mixture of personal history and folklorized memories. I really like the softness of it all; you can almost smell the crisp apple scent through the screen.

On the web: 2010s Emma Watson, Silly Lettuce, Eva Meloche

I can't really explain my current fixation on Emma Watson, but I have the feeling it has something to do with the fact I've been looping her Burberry campaigns practically every day. The songs are so reminiscent of a carefree city life, going on long taxi drives in the rain and putting your hands over the steam of your coffee on a cold day in the park with your friend, wet fall leaves on the cement sidewalk. I used to admire Emma Watson a lot when I was younger, and it's nice to rediscover this fondness for her. And let's be honest, she is definitely one of the founders of the gamine community; all I have, I owe to her!

Now, my current admiration for @silly_lettuce on Instagram is totally aesthetic, and I'm not afraid to say it. Gorgeous girl, gorgeous outfits, what's not to love. I could go on and on about her style in general, the silhouettes she wears, the boots, the knee-high socks, but instead, I'll just urge you to check out her page! So timeless, yet so young, fun, fresh, and COOL!!!!

Eva Meloche is a YouTuber I've been watching for as long as I can remember, and not only do I adore the calm energy all of her videos exude, but I also really love her travel stories and spot recommendations in general, which always come in handy. Oh, and, of course, she has impeccable taste. Even though her style is different from mine, I guess I use her content as a way to explore.

To wear

I think it's totally healthy to have an everlasting lust for new clothes and new products. Maybe it's because the holiday energy is already lingering in the air, or maybe it's because I'm fresh out of a father and daughter trip to Paris, but recently, I've been loving to revisit my old favorites. And by old, I mean back-when-I-was-twelve old, which includes:

Red Valentino patterned A-line dresses

Ok, I know they may be a bit too young, but if you get it, you get it, I guess. With some ballerinas or Mary Jane pumps, a cute overcoat, and a nice pair of sunglasses, you'll look positively '60s. Honestly, any A-line dress works, but RED V makes me remember my trips with my grandparents and going shopping with them.

The Cardi-blazer

So basic, I know, but I cannot stop thinking about the Ba&Sh Gaspard cardigan and Guspard blazer. I just love how it elevates a basic outfit. With a pair of jeans and a trench coat over it, it has infinite potential. I can definitely see myself wearing it to a lunch with friends, for some afternoon shopping, or just for a coffee run. I love the Ba&Sh cardi-blazers, specifically because of how cool they look without ever being an "in-your-face" type of item. The buttons are nice and discreet, and the style is put together but not excessively frumpy.

Maybe it's the Miu Miu enthusiast in me, but ever since they released the new collection of shoes with Church's (my dad's fave), I've been loving all outfits that include a pair of brogues. I already had a pair of light brown oxfords (which are my one true love), but I really wanted something in black and thought that a pair of flap brogues would be a nice addition. They're perfect to wear with sheer hosiery, a mini jean skirt, and a cozy black sweater to tie it all together.

Statement sweater

Talking about sweaters... I just have so many cool statement ones living in my brain recently; it's a bit concerning. What's better than wearing a huge sweater that screams "look at me" when going out with friends or having a nice dinner party? I've been specifically lusting over two models: the Kritzia glittery, oversized turtlenecks with animal motifs and the Zadig and Voltaire Alma "rock and roll" red one.

Statement everyday shoes

It's so 2016 to talk about Golden Gooses, but... I just love them. I happened to buy them after quite a bit of time resisting after I found myself with soaked ballerinas after a violent rainstorm, soon-to-be late to my lunch reservation. The Golden Goose store was my knight in shining armor, literally, offering me shelter and shoes. And maybe it was the desperation, maybe it was the pink sparkly star, but all I know was that I left that store in a glittery haze, enamored by the sneakers I'd just impulsively bought. No regrets!
