Hi my question is with modern spirits, say i use life spinner to sac 3 including a spirit with soulshift to bring out iname death aspect, my question is with how this would play out and if the spirits dumped with iname entering play are valid targets for soulshift

When you cast a spell or activate an ability, it goes on the stack before any of its costs are paid. Anything that triggers due to the payment of those costs goes on the stack above the original spell or ability and will resolve first.

In the scenario you describe, the soulshift ability of the sacrificed spirit(s) will go on the stack above Lifespinner's ability and resolve before it does, meaning that Iname is still in your library at that point and thus hasn't yet put any spirit cards into your graveyard.

You can, however, target one of the other spirits you sacrificed to active Lifespinner's abiliity with the Soulshift.

Custom FNAF MTG Commander deck, commanders are Ravos Soultender and Kodama of the East Tree (who have been reflavored as William Afton and Springtrap). Mainly focuses on bringing creatures back from graveyard via card abilites or Soulshift. The actual real-card deck can be found here on deckstats, and the flavored deck PDF can be found here. I used Magic Set Editor to flavor the cards, and the files for that can be found here. Feel free to copy it/reference it, or change it if you don’t like something. I just played it for the first time, everyone lost by being decked, but I thought the deck was fun. Major weakness is graveyard exile via cards like Bojuka Bog, I personally think that's a fair trade-off though given just how many creatures I kept bringing back.

The 22-25 the community also works on creating a burial shroud to burn in a mock funeral for Aristodemos. 

June 21-June 26

June 21-The Day of Mourning

The first day is a day of mourning in a church-like setting with the whole community. 

Typically, this is headed by a Mekahuman, Descendant, or Grand, although SoulShifters have taken up the mantle since the massacre.

June 22-The Day of Stories

It is a day generally centered around telling the story of Aristodemos’ life through traditional storytelling during the evening and a festival celebrating.

This is normally done by people who have been deemed storytellers by the community 

June 23-The Day of Celebration

This day is the most like a festival, with food and games, and it is generally a day to have fun and celebrate the positive things of the year.

June 24-The Day of Honor

This day honors the accomplishments of Aristodemos and pays tribute to what he did.

It also honors the significant achievements made by the community as a whole and individual members of it.

June 25-The Day of Sacrifice

This day honors the sacrifice Aristodemos made when he died and celebrates him for what he gave up to protect the community.

Sacrifices of community members are also celebrated on this day

June 26-The Day of New Beginnings/The New Year

Aristodemos’ shroud is burned at noon, thus marking the beginning of a new year for the magical community. 

The New Year is counted from the day Aristodemos died, thus making it the year 2257 in the magical calendar (as of 2024).

The years before he died are labeled BDF (Before Darkness Fell), and the years after ADF (After Darkness Fell).

After much pestering from my dear @ruckis--rookie, I am posting these two images here on tumblr focusing on her characters.

The first one was inspired by a TikTok I saw a while back regarding autistic responses to close friends/loved ones going through a hard time. It makes sense for my persona to be autistic, but fun fact, some of my own OCs are also autistic, the best examples being Sweedy Pea(generally goodhearted and confused) and Professor Szellum Szrama(apathetic most of the time and tends to hyperfixate on his work).

The other is a special comic inspired very loosely by an apparently popular scene from Mr. Pickles. IYKYK, if not, I don't have a good explanation for the scene outside of boobs where they shouldn't be.

When I first saw Journeys End, I was always looking for fics who have Ten actually being Tentoo ("soulshifting" when he regenerates), but nowadays I'm more interested in Tentoo as being truly an individual then just Ten. You already shared your love for the Tentoo audios from Big Finish, but I really hope one day we get a story from his POV, or Rose. Btw, was there really a spinoff planned with them called "Earth Defense"? I thought it was only for the scrapped Rose spinoff after S2 finale???

i go back and forth on ten and tentoo being connected or not until ten regenerates, but since i have always known rtd had planned them knowing it happened until the final draft where he took it out, i do tend to consider it canon. i go back and forth on quite a few things and i find it fun, i like how open to the imagination some things are.

i enjoy imagining the angst of it, and the freedom i imagine they would feel after- but i don't think tentoo and ten are like clearly or physically experiencing each other's lives. to me it's more like tentoo remembers it in dreams or visions and then when ten regenerates he feels it happen and then whatever link they had is severed. @elialys wrote it perfected in the fic pandora, which i cannot recommended enough 💗

and of course i would love more bf audios, i'm just fairly certain we will some on screen stuff so it's more in the back of my mind now. whatever we get that is written/approved by rtd i will eat up.

and yes there was, david tennant has talked about it a few times including when the cast and rtd livetweeted journey's end in 2020 (to get people to stay inside during covid) rtd felt like his hands were too full to do it at the time and it ended up not happening iirc.

Is it some kind of alternate form or does it stand for something symbolic? 👀

Oh yea thats just an alt form fsdfsdfcsd. Or in this case it's his true form, that's what his Soulshifter form looks like. He has his default, the frog that we all know and love, and then he has THIS.

You've prolly seen this look of his around and every single time it's been almost inconsistent, that would be on purpose. Since he's a glorified shapeshifter in this form the gimmick is inconsistent.

He typically doesn't show his true form at all unless something is seriously wrong or something's made him upset enough to throw him into a barbaric rage. It's a final gambit sort of thing. If at any point he starts to look goopy in this form that means he's probably not doing too hot. When he's like this he can also manipulate his size and some of his features, so his "normal" Soulshifter appearance is geared a little closer to his default

he manipulates the size and appearance of his Soulshifter body for intimidation, but he hardly ever lets his real form be seen because while it has its benefits he's also at his most vulnerable in this form.

I THINK maybe mama jin had an older sister and said sister is cho yeong's mother. so she's locking cho yeong up and only using her to get a strong heir cause eldest daughters of the jin family = most powerful. cho yeong/naksu was also already super powerful before the soulshift so that kinda supports this. lady jin just seems not like the loving mom she would've been if she genuinely believed this girl was buyeon
