Drunken Kisses (angst-ish)
Tumblr media
SUMMARY: You, Spencer and Jason had given a bracelet to the police you thought would help link Garret to Alison’s murder the previous day. Today you heard from Spencer that the blood on the bracelet wasn’t Garret’s and his name was cleared. You had a little school girl crush on him back when Ali was alive, not that he even knew you existed. But after Ali went missing, his family left Rosewood. Now that he was back, he was a completely different person and you found yourself falling even harder. You guys have gotten fairly close since he’s been back, but nothing ever came of it.
WARNINGS: age gap, drunk driving, mentions of murder, angst, etc.

The bell signaling it was the end of the day rang, and you and Spencer were walking out of AP History together. You and the other liars were all best friends, but Spencer was really the one who got you the best. That’s why you could tell something was up with her, the way her lips had been frozen in a straight line the entire day.
“Spence, what’s on your mind?” You asked, having wondered that question all day.
Spencer sighed, “I just feel horrible, I was the one who told Jason about the bracelet and now Garrett is out of prison because of it. I should’ve never dragged him into this.” Spencer explained sadly.
“Hey, this is not your fault. Okay? You had no idea that bracelet would free Garrett. You were just trying to help.” You assured her. You knew Spencer wasn’t in the blame for this, you just hoped she would see that too.
“Yeah, but all I ended up doing ruining things.” Spencer mumbled, her lips forming into a small frown. You put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
As you walked out of the school you saw Jason running around the block. You noticed the way his hair stuck to his forehead from sweating. You couldn’t but notice how good he looked.
“Jason.” Spencer called out. She walked over to him and you followed closely behind her.
“Hey.” He greeted the both of you, “What’s up?”
“I, uh, heard you were gonna be on the basketball courts.” Spencer stated, pointing in the direction they were in.
“Yeah, I was.” He informed, “Pulled myself out of the game.”
“Why?” You asked softly.
“Figured I’d hurt less people running around the block.” He clarified. You looked at him sympathetically. You didn’t exactly have any words that could comfort him in a moment like this, but you would try your best to let him know you were there for him.
“Right. Well that answers my next question.” Spencer says, looking down at her feet.
“Which was?”
“Are you okay?” Spencer asks, her voice genuine. Jason doesn’t say anything, he just looks down at the ground in disappointment.
“I’m so sorry I dragged you into this.” Spencer apologizes, the guilt written all over her face.
“It’s not your fault, Spencer.” He assures, “You didn’t make me walk into that police station.”
“I know, but I thought that—”
“I know. That this piece of jewelry would have ended this. But it didn’t, alright?” He interjected, “Now, instead of being the big hero, I’m back to being the big screw-up.”
“Jason, nobody thinks that.” At least, you didn’t think that. The one thing he never gave up on was trying to find out what happened to his sister, and you admired him for that. You wished he could see what you did sometimes.
“Really? Maybe I should let you pick my father up from the airport.” He objected, his voice filled with frustration. You looked at him sadly, you felt guilty for not being of more help but you knew there wasn’t anything you could do.
“Do your parents think that Garrett is still gulity?” Spencer wondered, “Or do they think that now it’s somebody else?”
“I don’t know what they think. Never have.” He uttered.
“Well what do you think?” You asked.
“I think that I’m done looking for answers around here, that’s what I think. I’m not a detective, and I’m not a lawyer.” He sighed, rubbing his temple.
“Hey, we, uh, met Cece Drake this morning.” Spencer revealed, trying to change the subject. You bit the inside of your cheek, trying to swallow back the emotions you felt coming up from your chest. You knew Cece was his ex and the conversation you’d had with her at the grill made it seem like she was still interested in him. And you wouldn’t blame him if he ever went back to her, she was gorgeous. And it wasn’t like you had a chance with him anyways.
“Did you know that she’s back in town?” Spencer questioned.
“I heard.” Jason nodded his head, looking unphased by the information.
“We didn’t even know that she and Ali were friends.” Spencer explained, “She said that you guys spent an intense summer together.” You could only imagine what she had meant by ‘intense’ and you didn’t really like the idea of it.
“Everything with Cece’s intense.” Jason told them.
“Did it end on a bad note?” Spencer pried.
Jason’s answer was vague, “You could say that.” He muttered. This was a converstaion you chose to stay out of. You knew you were a good liar, but lying to Jason was different. It wasn’t as easy as lying to your family or even your friends. Somehow he always saw right through you, like you were a book waiting to be opened.
“Look, I got to, uh, get home and take a shower.” He said, “I’m gonna be late for his plane.”
“Okay.” Spencer mumbled.
“Bye Jason.” You spoke one last time before he walked away. He sent you a half-hearted smile before continuing his run back down the block.
You and Spencer decided you both desperately needed something to eat, so you went to a little cafe just a block away from the school. You talked for a little about everything going on, and then shortly after Hanna met up with you guys.
“You can’t just block a court order in an afternoon. She needs time.” Spencer said on the phone, but hung up as soon as she saw Hanna walking over to the table.
“But she’ll do it?” Hanna asked, worriedly.
“She’s gonna try.” Spencer promised.
“Try?” Hanna quaked.
“It’s my mom. With her a try is as good as a win.” Spencer assured her.
“Did Aria get in to see Mona?” Spencer asked the blonde.
“I haven’t heard anything yet.” Hanna shrugged. You saw Hanna look over behind your shoulder. You turned your head to see Jason and Mr. DiLaurentis getting out of the car.
“When did Alison’s father get back to Rosewood?” Hanna questioned.
“Today.” You responded, “Do you want me to talk to him?” You asked. Hanna had previously told you about the incident with her and Mr. DiLaurentis. Hanna had told Ali’s mom that she was still alive. Hanna had claimed she saw Alison one day and then she showed up dead the next, making Mr. DiLaurentis completely go off on Hanna.
“Well, maybe you should, Han.” You said, “You’re believing everything that Wilden says. Why don’t you find out yourself?” Now that Garrett was free, Hanna was suspect runner up. Wilden had claimed the blood found on Alison’s bracelet was the same blood type as Hanna’s.
“Cause I can’t.” She objected, “And you know what. You’re right, Spence. Your moms on it so I have nothing to worry about.”
You, Hanna and Spencer sat in silence for a while, until Hanna saw Mr. DiLaurentis coming back out of the building he had previously gone in to. You watched as she made up her mind, she walked over to Mr. DiLaurentis and began a conversation.
You bit at the straw of your drink, anticipating the outcome. “This can go one way… or it can go the complete opposite.” You mumbled, looking to your friend worriedly. Luckily, no scene broke out, Mr. DiLaurentis just got in his car and drove off. You sighed, sinking back into your chair.
It was officially late outside and you and Spencer needed a sleep over. With everything going on, all you wanted to do was cuddle up in bed and watch some sort of romantic film to ease your minds. The car ride was silent as you leaned your head against the cool window. You snapped out of your short state of peace as a car reved it’s engine behind you, you looked through the back window, only for the car to speed right past you, blaring music on full volume. You couldn’t help but notice the side of the car said, “DiLaurentis.”
“Jason.” You said aloud. You and Spencer looked to each other in panic just as the sound of a crash rang through your ears, “Oh my god!” You gasped. Spencer sped up, pulling up behind him. You rushed out of the car as fast as your feet would take you and you looked at him through the open window. He looked miserable.
You open the car door, assessing him for any injuries,”Jase, are you okay?” You ask worriedly. He didn’t say anything, he looked completely dissociated, “Are you drunk?” You questioned. Again, he said nothing. He attempted to get out of the car but you pushed him by his chest so he was back in the drivers seat.
“Stop it! The police, are gonna be here any minute, okay?” You scolded.
“Maybe they’ll lock me up with Garrett. Finally get some justice.” He muttered, angrily.
You sighed frustratedly, “Just move over.” You said.
“What—”
“Jason, just move over!” You snapped.
He was taken back for a moment, “Why?” He asked.
“Because this never happened.” You spoke softly this time. He finally obliged, moving over to the passengers seat. You were about to get in the driver’s seat when Spencer grabbed your arm.
“You don’t have to be the one to do it, it’s my fault he’s in this place anyways.” Spencer said, feeling bad for her friend cleaning up her mess.
“Spence, none of this is your fault. You didn’t ask for any of this. I’ll get him home. Besides, you need to get your own car out of here.” You said, assuring her it was okay.
She pulled you into a hug, “Thank you.” She said, before rushing over to her car and leaving the scene. You sighed, getting into the driver’s seat. You knew you couldn’t take him to his house, you knew that would just give his father another reason to jump down his throat, so you decided to take him to your house. Your family wouldn’t be home so it was the safest option for him.
When you got home, you managed to get Jason out of the car. He was stumbling all over the place, he clearly had drank more than needed. He stopped, and sat down on your porch, leaning his head against the wall. You looked at him simpathetically as you sat down next to him.
“Why the hell would you do that?” You fumed. You understood he was hurting but the way he basically stepped into the arms of death scared the hell out of you.
He turned to face you with a glare, “Do what? Give up? You know what, I’m tired of everyone treating me like I’m clueless.” He snapped back. He was angry, you got that loud and clear. He tried standing up but you grabbed ahold of his arm, pulling him back down.
“Well you’re acting like you are! Jason, I don’t even think you realize how stupid you were tonight. You could’ve died! You scared the absolute hell out of me!” You scolded him. Even if you weren’t together, you wouldn’t want to lose him either way. You considered him one of your best friends.
“God, you sound like my mother.” He muttered, rolling his eyes at you, “You know what? I don’t need your help. I don’t even know why your making a big deal out of this anyways.”
“Because I care about you!” You snapped, standing up from your spot abruptly. His eyes softened at your words. He didn’t understand how you could care about him, so he questioned it.
“Well you shouldn’t. I’m not worth it. My dads made that perfectly clear that he lost the wrong kid.” He sighed, putting his head in his hands.
“Jason, don’t listen to your dad. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about, okay?” You said softly this time, sitting back down next to him, “If anything, he’s the one who’s not worth it. Jason, your a great person. You care about people, whether you like to admit it or not. And you’re smart and patient and you keep putting everyone else before yourself. Do you even realize how much you’ve done for me? After everything that happened with Mona and my family, you were always the one who was there for me. I don’t think I would be where I’m at now if I didn’t have you in my life. So don’t say it should’ve been you and not Ali because I don’t think I would ever recover from that. You deserved to have a better father, but he doesn’t deserve a son like you.” You may have went a little overboard, but you needed him to know that you cared.
Jason didn’t say anything, he just looked completely surprised at your words. Nobody has ever said anything like that to him before, and hearing it come from you was something else entirely. He stared at you with a million emotions running through his eyes. Maybe that was why he couldn’t stop himself from what happened next.
Before you knew it his lips were on yours. It was a hungry kiss, desperate for something he’d been longing for forever. His hands were on your face, pulling you as close as he possibly could. You could taste the alcohol from his mouth, reminding you he was still drunk. You pulled away from the kiss hesitantly and he moved closer to you, not wanting the moment to end.
“Jason, you’re drunk.” You reminded him. As much as you’ve been waiting for that to happen, it wasn’t the right time.
“So?” He breathed out.
“So, you’ll probably regret this in the morning.” You sighed, feeling guilty. You felt like you had taken advantage of him in his drunken state.
“How could I ever regret you?” He questioned, his eyes not leaving you for even a second.
You stood up from the porch, “It’s late and you need lots of sleep and lots of water and in the morning your definitely going to need lots of asprin.” You remarked, brushing off the little bit of sediment from your pants.
You took the key from your pocket and opened the door, Jason stumbled in shortly after. You had absolutely no idea how you were going to him up the stairs. You let him put his arm around your waist, minimizing the amount of times he stumbled up the stairs.
You took him to your room, setting him on your bed. You could see how exhausted and disappointed in himself he looked. He let himself slip up, he had been sober for so long and all he could think was that this was another thing he screwed up.
You could see the tears in his eyes, the ones he wouldn’t let fall. You pushed the hair that was sticking to his forehead away from his face, letting your hand linger on his cheek for a moment, “Everyone falls off eventually, Jason.” You spoke softly, “But you’ll get back on, okay?” You asssured him. He nodded his head.
You slipped your hands in his jacket, helping him pull it off. He then took his shoes off and both fortunately and unfortunately for you, he took his shirt off next. You understood, he was clearly sweaty and overheated from the accident, not to mention the alcohol on top of it. After getting situated, he pratically collapsed on your pillow.
“If you need anything let me know.” You speak in a hushed tone. You just reach the door when he calls out for you.
“Actually, I do need something.” He said.
“Yeah, of course. What can I get you?” You asked.
“Can you stay?” He asked, unhesitantly. You looked into his eyes for any signs of alterier motive, but saw nothing, just the desperate need to not be alone. You thought about it for a moment; for one you knew it wasn’t the best idea, but you also wanted to be able to check on him in the middle of the night.
“Okay.” You say, walking over to him slowly. You pull yourself under the covers next to him, not exactly close but you weren’t exactly a mile away from him either. He fell asleep super fast, the exhaustion taking over him quickly. You turn away, facing the door, trying to fall asleep. Just as you feel sleep creeping on you, you feel arms snake around your body, and legs tangling with your own. You had to admit, you’ve never felt more comfortable then you do now.
It was around 5:00 in the morning and you had expected Jason to be gone. You assumed he would’ve regret what happened and left to spare your feelings, but he didn’t. Instead he was still right next to you, arms wrapped around you tightly with his head pressed against the back of your neck. You squirm in his grasp, trying to free yourself to avoid any awkwardness when he wakes up, but his hold is too strong. Luckily, he subconciously loosens his hold as you manage to carefully get up.
When you stood, you saw him bury his face into your pillow, making you smile. You walk downstairs quietly and enter the kitchen, getting yourself a glass of water. You head over to the couch and grab a book you hadn’t finished reading and open it. You decided to kill some time while you waited for him to wake up.
After a while you heard the creak of the stairs, indicating someone was walking down them. You look over and see Jason walking down while he rubs the sleep from his eyes.
“Hey.” You call out softly. He looks over and sees you sitting on the couch with a book in your hands. His first thought was that he definitely wouldn’t mind waking up to seeing you like that everday if he could.
He walks over and sits next to you. From the awkward look you were giving him, he guessed you were wondering if he remembered anything from last night. He could lie and say he didn’t and things would go back to the way they were, or he could tell the truth and potentially ruin everything you guys had. He was internally debating on which option to pick.
But before he could say anyting, you had already picked for him, “You remember last night, don’t you?” You said as more of a fact that a question.
He looked at you with a defeated look, “Yeah.” He sighed. You took that as a sign he had regret what happened, and you suddenly felt really awkward.
“Look, we can forget that this happened. I know you probably regret what happened—”
“Is that what you think?” He interjects. You were taken back, you hadn’t expected that to be his reaction.
“I mean, yeah.” You say. You were almost positive he had regret last night, so when he kissed you. Again. You were suprised to say the least. He took the book from your hands, tossing it onto the table. He put one of his hands on your stomach, pushing you down so that you were lying down. He hovered over you, though his lips never left yours.
“Does it look like I regret anything that happened last night?” He asked, his voice lower than before, making you shiver. You shook your head slowly, keeping your eyes on him the entire time he spoke to you.
“Well, maybe you need to do some rethinking then.” He spoke, before placing his lips back on yours.

In love with my best friend - Spencer Hastings x Reader
Tumblr media
Authors note: This short story is not related to a request but is something I came up with that I couldn't get out of my head. Maybe you like it anyway! 🙈
Summary: There is one unspoken rule between best friends; never fall in love with them. But like most rules, this was made to be broken. You fell in love with Spencer and as luck would have it, she was dating Toby. But when you confess your love for her, everything turns out differently than you thought.
ᕚ---ᕘ
Spencer Hastings was undoubtedly your best friend. Not that you had many friends, although there were plenty of people you got along with, you trusted nobody as much like Spencer. You had no siblings but a sister could hardly have been closer to you- you knew that.
It was odd. After all, you did only known each other a few years, but you assumed that time played less of a role in friendship than the experiences shared. And fighting side by side against a common enemy was certainly something that could bond two young girls together.
Yes, Spencer Hasting was a great woman; smart, kindhearted, brave, super loyal and absolutely reliable. And that is exactly what started growing butterflies in your stomach. However, there was one flaw that let you know you will never get to call her your girlfriend- when she could not stop babbling about her boyfriend.
"Oh, come on, Y/n!" she wailed in a tone that made you want to squeeze your hands into fists and dig your fingernails into your skin. Just a little, it would hardly hurt. "Do you not want to know what he got me for our anniversary?"
"No, I do not want to" you hissed as you dropped the fork with a clatter into the bowl.
Spencer seemed taken aback for a moment, but then her face lit up and she waved the necklace in front of your face again while you stared grimly at the piece of tomato that jumped out of the bowl. "Ha! You are only saying that because you do not know how great he is!"
Then your patience, which is quite thin by nature, snapped. "Damn it, Spencer!" you lifted your eyes to your best friend, who had moved intrusively close to you. The brunette was not exactly known for keeping a distance of discretion. "I do not care how great your fucking Toby is, okay?"
She slowly slipped her hands off the chain around her neck and the wide grin faded from her face as if the harshness you displayed tonight had wiped it away. However, she did not seem offended. On the contrary, she seemed extremely worried. "What is going on, shorty?"
"Nothing is wrong," with shaky fingers, you tried to lift the mushy tomato between your nails and shove it into the sink. "Just because I do not want to take a closer look at that gold chain around your neck that you bother me with all the time does not mean something is wrong"
Inside, you were despairing. You would most likely to want her to yell at you. Would love to hear her say how bad of a person you were, not enjoying their happiness. Maybe then you would feel less like a monster than you already did.
"There must be a reason for my best friend´s grumpy face though. You are never usually like that"
This almost made you laugh out loud. You were in the midst of a terrible war of emotions and feelings that were raging inside of you. Love and hate were close together and fought flawlessly in your soul for the rightness of them. On one hand, you were happy that the brunette had found someone who loved her with all her faults and flaws. However, you had hoped that you were the one who could offer all of those things to her.
You sighed deeply and got up to dump your dinner into the trash; your appetite was completely gone. Spencer´s face changed from a deep confusion to a frighteningly serious one that sent a chill down your spine. "It is about Toby, is it not?" In your stance, you flinched slightly and did not let a word escape your mouth, but she instantly knew that her guess was correct. "Ever since I told you it was serious between the two of us, you seemed completely lost in thought and distanced"
You still retreated in silence, but your hands were shaking so much that you dropped the empty bowl into the sink. And the youngest Hastings had noticed that too. Quickly, she jumped out of her chair and put her arm comfortingly around your shoulders while you clutched the marble, knuckles already turning white.
"I love you.." you began to speak in a low voice, looking down at your fingers scraping the stainless steel. Emily had previously advised you to stay away from the subject and try to shut off your feelings. She had warned you urgently, yet you had ignored every word and walked into a circular saw with open arms.
And worst of all, you did probably jeopardized the friendship with your stupid revelation.
"I did not mean to develop feelings for you but I did not stop them the first time I felt it and-" Spencer could clearly hear the uncertainty in your restless voice and stopped you to catch your breath. She pulled you closer and if you did not know her better, you would have assumes that she would want to kill you for ruining her relationship with the boy she fell in love with. "You have to stop,"
"With what?"
"Wanting to explain yourself," she paused for a moment, biting her lip as the front of her body gently pressed against your back and her head hovered over your shoulder. A clearing of her throat escaped her before she continued to speak. "Y/n, look at me"
You turned your face to her and saw a strange sight, two adult friends standing close together, one pulling the other into a tight and loving embrace. You, aware of how close Spencer was to you and how your heart started pounding violently in your chest, could not help but smile. "If Toby would see us like this.."
The older one seemed confused for a moment, then laughed out loud until her body shook with yours. Gently, she wrapped both arms tightly around your body and her face moved dangerously close to yours, your lips almost meeting. "I do not care"
With a mixture of curiosity and nervousness, you looked into her large and brown eyes, the color of which had darkened and was almost unrecognizable through the enlarged pupils staring at you.
"May I..?" Her gaze dropped to your lips with the warmest, friendliest smile you had ever seen and you nodded as your heart started leaping with excitement in your chest. As her soft lips brushed yours and kissed them gently, you felt the almost unnatural warmth that spread through every single fiber of your body.
As Spencer unintentionally pulled away from you, there was silence for a long moment before she began to whisper barely audible. "I have been waiting for this moment for so long, I did not think it would ever happen" her lips slammed back onto yours, slowly kissing their way down to your chin and shoulder before nibbling at the tender skin of your neck.
The sensation you felt overwhelmed your senses, letting you moan briefly before you laid your head back and thus allowed her to dive further with rough bites. Your hands settled on her hips, gently pulling her closer to you. They roamed her whole body until they caught on the buttons of her expensive blouse, that you were feverishly trying to open.
Spencer and you were so busy with each other, that you did not realized you were being watched from the patio door.

Author's Note: This is a PLL fanfic that I mainly started writing for myself. It's been a hot sec since I've posted chapter 1 but I finally mustered up the motivation to write chapter 2. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
In all the chaos of Alison's funeral and that scummy cop, Wilden, vaguely threatening Aria and her friends, the small brunette had almost completely forgotten all about how Ezra Fitz had turned up at Ali's funeral. If Aria hadn't been so damn captivated by him, she might've stopped to ask herself why exactly a teacher that had never even met Alison was attending her funeral services. Sure, maybe he wanted to support his students--especially one student in particular--but still, why attend a funeral for someone you'd never even laid eyes upon?
The two of them had only had a brief moment to talk but the short conversation left Aria with more questions than answers. He'd apologized for "being a jerk" and he'd insisted that he cared about her. While she thought it was sweet, more than anything, it just left her feeling very lost.
So lost, in fact, that she hadn't even heard Spencer at first as they were sitting at the Rosewood Grill after the funeral. "Hello, earth to Aria," the brains of the group said. "Do you think Wilden knows about... You know, the...Jenna thing?" Aria let out a deep sigh and ran a hand through her hair. God, I thought we were fucking done with the Jenna thing, she thought to herself. "I don't know, guys. I mean... How could he know? We all promised to keep it a secret, after all..."
The Jenna thing, as in when the girls accidentally not so accidentally blinded Jenna Marshall, the new girl in town.
When Jenna first got to Rosewood, her long dark hair and her stunning green eyes had gotten everyone's attention. She was gorgeous and the minute Aria saw her at Noel Kahn's Halloween party, she knew Alison was threatened by her very presence. Not only was she beautiful, but she had made it clear that she was her own person who could make her own friends. Ali didn't like that, not one bit.
So when the blonde got the opportunity to get back at Jenna and her reclusive step-brother, Toby Cavanaugh, Alison wasted no time. Like so many bad memories, Aria could never truly get that night out of her head. It haunted her day and night.
You see, a little over a year ago, the five girls had been gleefully trying on clothes in Emily's bedroom. It was like any other sleepover until suddenly, Alison exclaimed "I can see you!" and raced to the window, pushing Aria out of the way. Ali insisted that she'd seen Toby in the window and that they all needed to go "teach him a lesson." Immediately, Aria had gotten a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had tried to push back but Alison was not having it. Looking back now, she knew that she should've just stood up to Ali when she had they chance--they all should have.
Before she knew it, they were at the Cavanaughs' garage, hurling a stink bomb through the door and running away. What started out as a harmless little prank quickly turned into a raging fire that permanently blinded Jenna.
"We had the chance to stop Ali that night," Aria said regretfully. Looking at the other girls' faces, they clearly felt just as much as shame about the situation as she did. But what could they do about it now? Surely, they'd be in some sort of legal trouble if the fessed up to Wilden about it, right? And how would he even know in the first place? After all, Ali had gotten Toby to take the blame, somehow...
That night, as Aria was lying in her bed, attempting to sleep, she kept thinking about what Ezra had said to her. His words rang over and over in her head: I care about you, Aria, but this just isn't right. And as much as it felt right to her, maybe he had a point. After all, he was older than her, and wouldn't that make him wiser than her, as well? As she drifted off to sleep, she'd made up her mind. Tomorrow, she was going to nip this in the bud and transfer classes. Besides, with everything going on with her family, that weird cop, and the fact that the whole world now knew that Alison DiLaurentis was dead, she really couldn't handle anything else on her plate.
The next morning before first period, Aria went and sought out Ezra, who was grading papers at his desk. God, he looked so handsome in his tie and button-down shirt. Dammit, Aria, focus, she told herself. You need to do this. Giving a soft nock on the door frame, she said "Hey, can I come in for a second?..."
The young teacher instantly lit up when he saw her face and nodded, beckoning her to come in. Getting up from his desk, he said "Yeah, of course," and walked past her to shut the door behind her. Gingerly, she said "Oh, this will only take a second..." Besides, she didn't want to give people the wrong impression with the door shut--she was ending this and that was that. She took a paper out of her binder and handed it to him. "I'd like to transfer out of your class."
At her words, a look of obvious disappointment crossed his face, which was honestly a bit confusing. "Uh, I totally understand, but, um... I'd hate for you to have to drop the class, especially since we've already started working on our first novel. If you transferred to another class, you'd already be behind..."
Nodding, she said "Yeah, I thought about that, but... I don't know, I just feel like it's the right thing to do..." Looking up at him, he was clearly searching for words to say and he opened his mouth but then closed it again, as if he'd thought of something to say but then changed his mind. "Okay, then I'll go ahead and sign the transfer paper," he said, grabbing the pen off of his desk. "Thank you," she said softly, taking the paper from him and giving him a small smile.
Honestly, she thought he'd look a little more relieved, since he was the one who told her this...thing between them wasn't right. But then again, she couldn't deny that she was at least a little pleased that he wasn't jumping for joy at not having her in his class anymore. Maybe that that meant what he'd said was true--maybe he did really care about her.
Taking the paper back, she said "Thank you, Ez--Mr. Fitz.. I appreciate it." With that, she turned and practically bolted out of the door, sure that she'd change her mind if she stayed just one moment longer. She hurried down to the registrar to turn the paper in before she headed to math class.
However, the transfer was apparently not meant to be. During science class, a student aid had come by her class and delivered her transfer paper with a brand new bright red "DECLINED" stamp on the top of it. Shit, she thought to herself. Is the universe trying to get me to fuck up? Then again...what if this was a good sign from the universe? Perhaps a sign that maybe, just maybe, there really was a chance for her and Ezra?...
When she arrived at English and set the declination on his desk, she could've sworn she saw a small smile perk up at the edge of his lips.
Even though whatever was going on with Aria and Ezra was confusing, being at school was a million times better than being at home, that was for sure. Before Aria had gone away to Radley Iceland, she'd been keeping a huge secret for her dad. It turns out, those rumors about him sleeping with his grad students had turned out to be very true. Aria had seen it with her own eyes and she knew she'd never be able to forget that image of his father kissing another woman in the back of his car for as long as she lived.
At the time, he'd begged her to keep it a secret. Aria's father had told her that if she told her mom, their family would fall apart. She could still hear her own words in her head when she'd begrudgingly agreed to pretend as if nothing was wrong. Through her tears, she'd said to her father's face, "I don't think I'm ever going to be able to forgive you for this."
And she'd meant what she said. From the moment she'd gotten back from her sabbatical, she'd been short with her father whenever he attempted to speak with her. After all, over the past year, she'd had a lot of time to think about the situation and she'd grown incredibly resentful of her father. How could he have put all of that pressure on his own daughter? And all to keep his dirty secret of infidelity? What a fucking coward. What a fucking piss poor excuse for a father.
So on Saturday afternoon, when she arrived home from a coffee run, she didn't know what to say when her father confronted her about her attitude. "You're not very good at hiding your feelings, Aria. And your mother knows that something's up. You need to get past this."
"I need to get past this? I need to get past the fact that I caught you cheating on Mom? I need to get past the fact that you fucking begged me to keep that secret for you?" She shook her head incredulously. "You've got to be fucking joking." Her father looked hurt and taken aback by her harsh words but she couldn't hep herself. What else was she supposed to say? How could he expect her to feel any other way?
Still, she wasn't done yet. "Are you still seeing her?" she asked, her words as sharp as knife. Her father shook his head and said "What? Why would you even ask me that?"
"Answer the question, Dad. Are you still seeing her?"
He shook his head, but Aria really didn't know whether to believe him or not. "No, I am not seeing her. I told you, I'm done with that. I'm done with her. All I care about is our family." Yeah, fucking sure, she thought to herself.
"Whatever, Dad," Aria said with a heavy sigh, the feeling of exhaustion suddenly taking over her body. She couldn't keep doing this, she couldn't keep holding up all this weight on her own two shoulders. But, then again, she couldn't break her mother's heart like that--or her little brother's. She had to protect her family, that was her job. It was part of the reason why she'd done what she'd done that night...
As she started to walk away, her father said "Aria, where are you going? I'm not finished with this conversation."
"Well, I am," she snapped back. She turned away from her father and swiftly walked up the stairs. She'd be fucking damned if she let him see her cry again. She couldn't give him that kind of power over her.

Twinscape sounds interesting???
It is really interesting (to me, of course).
This is a PLL Story.
When Spencer is in Radley, Wren introduces her to Alex after she says that "she doesn't want to be Spencer Hastings" anymore.
Alex takes her place allowing Spencer to escape the pressures of being Spencer Hastings and Alex to experience what it's like to be Spencer.

this is a random question but do you have any opinions in particular about jason dilaurentis' relationship to his sisters? i ask because like pll is so selective about which predatory characters it actually validates are preying on the girls and i feel like jason kind of sits in the middle of the scale between like ian and wren in that there are hints toward certain things with him but i don't remember them ever really getting into it
[cw incest, sa]
jason is so fucked up it's funny. the guy sure has sisters and he sure likes to kiss them...
yeah i actually really like his character, though i think the show was never quite sure what they wanted to do with him, and never embraced his full potential. there are some clear hints that he participated in some kind of abuse against alison, perhaps by facilitating acess to her. this is heavily implied in the flashback scene at spencer's house, when ali says jason's friends had come over and that there were "not enough locks" im her bedroom door (she confirms she was the only girl in the house). alison is visibly shaken in that scene, and the way she looks at her own reflection in spencer's kitchen is heartbreaking. despite her tough girl exterior, she's completely vulnerable.
but the show of course never gets into the specifics, and i'm really not happy with how later seasons avoid the inplications set up in the early seasons. but i guess you know that already, since i complain about it all the time.
jason/charlotte is really compelling to me as well, though i know it plays the tired and transphobic trope of "trans woman who lies and deceives her lovers". but i really like charlotte, and my biggest issue with that subplot is that her feelings weren't given the attention she deserved. i think it's interesting that jason would be strongly drawn to charlotte without quite understanding why -- they're literally identical twins! they're genetically the same! and as charlotte transitioned, she became very very similar to alison... the layers are just incredible, i live for stuff like this.
and of course he also kissed melissa, they almost dated. i think he should've kissed spencer as well, instead of aria (he should only ever get involved with his sisters, the dilaurentis/hastings ARE the dollangangers of pll).
but is jason good or bad or morally gray? i'm not sure, i think the writing is too inconsistent, but personally i think he did some heinous things when he was young. the dilaurentis family is extremely dysfunctional, and jason suffered a horrible trauma. not only did his parents take his twin away from him, they lied and told him he made his twin up and charles was his imaginary friend (i love this show). jason, charlotte and alison are all traumatized and they all do horrible things, but i think they're also all sympathetic. i just wish the show had embraced jason's issues more openly, and actually explored what he did to alison and the damage he caused (not only to her, he actively participated in that little pedophilic stalker club).
so i think he's a creep, but an interesting one, and certainly not a monster. i wish the show had developed his relationship with his sisters more strongly, especially with charlotte. in fact, his story with charlotte could be a whole book on its own (is there good fanfic of this?). also, i love the casting (not the first jason, what was that lol) because he looks so much like alison and charlotte, but also like spencer and melissa.

pretty little liars and harry potter? :)
PLL:
favorite male character:
tbh I don't love most of the male characters on PLL so I'm just going to say wayne fields bc he was a king (RIP)
favorite female character:
spencer hastings my absolute beloved <3
least favorite character:
ezra fitz 🥴
prettiest character:
all of them are gorgeous but emily's beauty is on another level.
ashley is kind of a milf too
funniest character:
it's a tie between spencer and hanna, though both of them were at their funniest when they played off of each other.
favorite season:
probably s3, specifically 3b for spencer's arc.
favorite episode:
there are a lot of great ones but 2x13, 3x12, 4x24, and 5x12 are as close to perfection as this show got.
favorite romantic ship:
SARA HARVEY X HER SHOWER 🤪
in all seriousness I dislike almost of the canon ships on PLL, so I'm going to say emison just bc I stanned them so hard as a teenager and I still have a soft spot for them all these years later 😅
favorite family ship:
hanna and ashley. their relationship means the absolute world to me.
also, melissa was shady as fuck but I always found her dynamic with spencer fascinating. we deserved so much more of them!!
favorite friendship:
honestly I can't choose between spanna, spemily, and hannily. those three girls have fantastic duo dynamics between them and each one of them has a special place in my heart, so I'm just going to say that my fav friendship is the three of them as a group.
worst ship:
naturally, ezria...marlene king deserves jail for tricking an entire generation into believing that ezria's relationship was romantic rather than disgusting and predatory lmao.
harry potter:
favorite male character:
it's honestly harry. despite what everyone says, i think he was a fantastic and well-written protagonist.
favorite female character:
hermione or mcgonagall. i also really like fleur!!
least favorite character:
draco malfoy tbh, i never got the hype 🤷🏻‍♀️
prettiest character:
probably hermione :)
funniest character:
fred and george ofc 😌 but ron had some hilarious lines too!!
favorite season book:
the prisoner of azkaban for sure!!
favorite episode:
N/A
favorite romantic ship:
again I don't vibe with any of the canon ships but I absolutely adore wolfstar (remus x sirius) in fanon :)
favorite family ship:
I love how the weasleys became a second family to harry <3
favorite friendship:
gonna be basic and go with the golden trio.
worst ship:
I dislike remus x tonks for so many reasons....(none of which have to do with my love for wolfstar btw)
also, voldemort x bellatrix is Cursed (literally), so thank god it's not canon, it's only from that one weirdly popular fanfic that somehow got a play made out of it 👀

Spencer Hastings finding Reader on the ice doing her favorite sport to get her head off from the time they were kidnapped by A. Spencer knows that Reader is suffering the most
Tumblr media
ᕚ---ᕘ
The winter darkness enveloped the streets of Rosewood in a silent, frosty embrace as Spencer began her search for you. The street lamps cast diffuse, yellowish shadows on the freshly fallen snow, which crunched beneath her boots. A chill that was not just from the weather permeated the young brunette as she pulled her jacket tighter around herself and lowered her head to shield her face from the icy wind.
You had withdrawn yourself since your release from A's dungeon, and she recognized a silence that was louder than any words. Spencer knew about the internal struggles that all of her friends had, including herself. However, it had hit you the hardest. The side effects of the trauma had intensified for you in the last few weeks and it was like you were trying to hide from the dark waves that were inexorably coming towards you.
She roamed the familiar streets, looking in cafés where you had spent quality time together and other places that were meaningful to you. But everywhere she looked, she found no trace of you. The snow began to fall thicker, the cold became sharper, but she did not give up. Spencer had to find you and show you that she was there for you before you destroyed yourself.
The cell phone in her pocket had remained silent since this morning. No message, no call from you even though there was not a day before the incident that you did not write her. Worry wrapped around the brunette like a heavy cloak; she knew the lonely depths you sometimes fell into when demons overwhelmed you.
Her breath puffed in the icy air as she walked faster, eyes searching intently for a clue. Finally, her instincts led her to a park where an ice skating rink was being built at the time. At night it looked like an enchanted winter landscape, embellished with large fairy lights. The snow covered the trees, the paths and the benches around it. And there, on the ice, you were skating around on your skates. Spencer's breath hitched when she saw you, wrapped in a beige coat, your hands fisted deep in your pockets. You stared at the cool ice beneath your feet, eyes empty and far from reality. The snow had accumulated millimeters thick on the ice, with fine lines in between that showed your path.
The eldest of the group approached slowly, cautiously as she tried to not make any abrupt movements that might startle you. Spencer carefully stood at the ring of the ice ring without saying a word. The cold seemed to fade at that moment as she felt the tension inside you slowly ease as you noticed her. "Hey Spenc. What are you doing here?“
"I am sorry for being so persistent in looking for you," Spencer began softly, her teeth chattering in the cold between each word. You did not react, keeping your gaze fixed on the ice as an uncomfortable silence hung between you. The brunette sighed until she finally found the courage to speak her thoughts, her worry casting a dark shadow over her voice. "I am worried about you, y/n. These last few days.. you were so absent, so far away like never before."
You flinched, barely noticeable, but it was enough for Spencer to let her know she was heard. She continued with her one-sided conversation. "I know you are going through an incredibly difficult time. Probably harder than any of us, judging by your injuries. And I just want you to know that I am here. That you are not alone , no matter how dark it feels."
Her words hung heavy in the cold air and you remained silent, but she felt your wall slowly crumble as you inched closer to her- a silent gesture of closeness and acceptance. "I can see the suffering in your eyes, y/n, and it breaks me to see you like this because I know how strong you usually are. But it is okay to not be strong as long as you open up to someone you love."
With those words, a single tear glistened on your cheek before you turned away, as if to prevent Spencer from seeing you. But she gently placed a hand on your upper arm, an attempt not to put any further distance between you. It was an attempt to provide comfort, even when words were not enough. "I will not force you to talk about it if you do not want to, but promise me you will not walk through this darkness alone. Promise me you will look for me for support and comfort when you need it. Please, y/ n. I can not bear to lose you like this."
"I am sorry, Spenc." You slowly lowered your gaze, your shoulders shaking slightly in a silent sob. It was a moment of opening, of allowing weakness in the midst of the strength Spencer gave you. "It is okay. But do not let yourself hang. I am here for you. Through better or worse," she quickly wrapped an arm around you and pulled you into a tight hug with a deep connection that spoke things that could not be said. In that moment, you felt the burden you had been carrying on your shoulder alone feel a little lighter.

crAcked: Chapter 1
Characters: Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, Alison DiLaurentis, Mike Montgomery, Byron Montgomery, Ella Montgomery, Darren Wilden, Melissa Hastings, Ian Thomas, Ezra Fitz
TW: Suicide mention, grooming, fatphobia, ED, bullying, murder
Word Count: 2,057
Author's Note: This is a PLL fanfic that I mainly started writing for myself. I'm a die hard PLL fan but, like a lot of other people, I was thoroughly disappointed with a lot of their choices so I decided to try my hand at writing what I wanted to happen in the story. I've never written fanfic, as most of my writing experience has been via Tumblr rp's but I thought I'd give this a try!
Tumblr media
September 1st, 2009. That was a night that Aria Montgomery would never forget, not for as long as she lived. That was the night that everything had changed.
It’d be silly to ever think that she could erase those memories from her brain, so she didn’t even try. Instead, she had decided to accept it–after all, what else was there to do? Things had happened–things that were never supposed to happen. Yet, the events of that September night had changed everything. As Lady Macbeth famously said, “What is done cannot be undone.”
By sunrise, the whole town of Rosewood knew that blonde bombshell queen bee Alison DiLaurentis was missing and nothing would ever be the same again.
Even now, after a year had passed, Aria was still unsure about how she felt about the entire situation. As she unpacked her boxes and placed her books back in their rightful place, she thought about everything that had happened and the impact her choices had had upon everyone.
One thing was for certain–she was grateful to be back in her own bedroom. The warm, dark wood of her bedroom floor and bed frame were certainly much cozier than the cold, white walls she had grown accustomed to this past year. It felt good to be back at home again.
Of course, to the outside world, she’d been away on a special study abroad program in Iceland this past year, an incredible opportunity that had happened to arise in Aria’s time of need. Her little brother, Mike, had even agreed to try to keep her Facebook page updated with beautiful pictures of the stunning fjords of Reykjavik. However, the truth of Aria’s whereabouts were much more…complicated, per se, than a study abroad trip to Iceland.
She’d spent this past year locked away hiding away in Radley Medical Center, trying to repair her fragmented mental state. After September 1st, it hadn’t taken very long at all for her parents, Byron and Ella, to figure out that her best friend’s friend’s disappearance had taken a serious toll on her mental health. As soon as the “MISSING PERSON” fliers went up, Aria just about lost it. After attempting to take her own life near the end of September 2009, her parents felt as if they had no other choice but to try and get her the help that she needed.
However, in the town of Rosewood, being “mentally ill” was not acceptable, or even relatable–sure, everyone had their own struggles but you kept that quiet and to yourself. It was the “polite” thing to do. Besides, after Aria had woken up in a hospital room, realizing her attempt had been unsuccessful, she couldn’t face her friends–hell, it was nearly impossible to face her own family, especially her little brother. Therefore, it was decided: Aria would go to Radley Medical Center in order to heal, and no one would ever know. To the outside world, she’d be experiencing an incredible opportunity overseas in Iceland and none would be the wiser.
It was quite the ruse and honestly, her parents had been a little unsure about the entire thing. Sure, people who were open about their family problems were judged harshly in Rosewood but who even cared about petty scrutiny and gossip if their daughter wasn’t okay? But it was Aria that had begged her parents to keep the truth a secret, only letting the principal of Rosewood High School know what was actually going on so she could continue her studies.
Now, after nearly twelve straight months of intensive therapy and “rest,” Aria was ready to return to the real world of Rosewood and continue on with her life. Still, the night of September 1st, 2009 still haunted her–more than anyone would ever know.
In just a few weeks–and still, years from now–the town of Rosewood would be full of gossip: gossip about a particularly handsome new teacher and his apparent penchant for underage girls. Yes, by now, it’s no secret that Ezra Fitz had been taken with Aria Montgomery when they first met at the Hollis Pub the day before school started. However, what a lot of people don’t mention is how Ezra was able to manipulate his way into Aria’s life and strike when she was most vulnerable.
You’ll come to find very soon that everyone in the town of Rosewood has flaws and secrets–absolutely everyone. But some things are more forgivable than others. And what was unconditionally unforgivable was a grown man preying on the innocent young girls of Rosewood High. Ezra had zeroed in on Aria and was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce.
After all, Ezra was already well aware of Aria’s own secret–well, at least one of them. You see, during his junior and senior year at Hollis, he had heard rumors about Professor Montgomery and one of his grad students. Now, Ezra didn’t usually listen to gossip–he believed himself to be above all of that. However, it had become rather difficult to simply ignore the rumors about a professor taking advantage of one of his students. Though he’d never actually had a class with Professor Montgomery, he knew of him and figured that the rumors were probably true.
Once he put two and two together–that Aria was the daughter of Bryon Montgomery–he knew that he had an in. He was aware that it was rather ironic. But this was different, he told himself. Ezra knew she was in a susceptible position–she needed guidance, someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on. That’s what Ezra told himself and that’s what he set out to do. Truthfully, as cunning as she was, Aria never stood a chance against someone so sinister.
However, that didn’t mean that Aria didn’t have her own ammunition. Sure, her family was holding on by a thread–but the other girls had their own secrets, too. They always had. Luckily, Aria had always been incredibly observant. Though she could certainly have her moments of outspokenness, she also knew how to sit back and listen. One could learn a lot of information when they were simply listening.
Take Hanna Marin, for example. Poor little Hefty Hanna–Aria had always detested that nickname that Alison had placed upon Hanna’s head. It was cruel and unnecessary. But Alison was the queen bee and whatever she said simply…was. However, anyone with eyes could see the toll that it took on Hanna. Aria remembered that one time, during a sleepover, the girls had been enjoying chick flicks and ice cream. They had been watching Mean Girls, one of Alison’s favorites. Aria always assumed it was because she viewed herself as Regina George.
Just before the Burn Book fight scene started–arguably one of the best scenes in the film–Hanna had gotten up to go to the bathroom. Aria thought it a bit odd but continued watching and laughing along with the other girls. But the minutes continued to pass and Hanna still wasn’t back. Curious, Aria mentioned checking on Hanna and got up off the couch and headed to the bathroom, her feet padding on the hardwood floor. When she got to the bathroom door, the unmistakable sounds of retching came from the other side of the door. Aria gave a small knock on the door. “Hanna?... Are you okay?” Hanna cleared her throat and quickly said “Yeah, I’m fine. I’ll be right out.”
Sure, Aria probably should’ve said something about it–but what could she say? Hanna was clearly embarrassed, you could hear it in her voice. Wouldn’t it just make it worse to question her about it? Aria tried to tell herself that maybe Hanna’s stomach had just been acting up but deep down, she knew the truth. She knew how Alison made Hanna feel like shit about her body–honestly, it wasn’t very surprising that Hanna would attempt to find comfort in bingeing and purging. It made Aria’s heart sink but what else could she do?
As far as Spencer and Emily went, their secrets weren’t too difficult to figure out, either. Really, all you had to do was have eyes. The way Spencer so desperately wanted to be like her older sister, Melissa, was obvious to everyone. On top of that, the brains of their group suddenly seemed to become a brainless lovestruck girl whenever her sister’s skeezy boyfriend, Ian, walked into the room. He was not only her field hockey coach but, as everyone figured, most likely her future brother-in-law as well. However, no one could deny the brunette’s heart eyes whenever Ian cracked a subpar joke.
Emily was somehow even more obvious. Between the odd comments from Alison and the way you could practically feel Emily’s giddiness radiating from her every time the blonde bombshell simply spoke, it was clear to anyone with a brain that Emily was in love with Alison. Not to mention the time that Aria had accidentally overheard one of their conversations during another infamous sleepover. She’d forgotten her phone in Emily’s room and when she was approaching the doorway, she overheard the distinct sing-song sweetness of Alison’s voice. It was the voice she used whenever she really, really wanted something
“Look, Em, I’m sorry that I was so mean to you the other day in the locker room. I didn’t mean to snap at you, I just… I just don’t feel…that way. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t still kiss–but only if you want to, of course.”
Alison’s voice was sugary sweet and full of softness–god, she was such a manipulative bitch. Don’t fall for it, Em, Aria thought to herself. But then, seconds later, Aria could hear the undeniable sounds of lips locking, so she slipped back downstairs and never told another soul.
Truth be told, Aria was mildly horrified at the state of her friend group when she returned to Rosewood High. The girls hadn’t even tried to remain close to one another? The brunette realized that it was going to be a lot more difficult to get her friends back together than she initially thought.
What horrified her even more, though, was the face that she saw at the front of the classroom during first period on the very first day of junior year. It was none other than Ezra, the man boy from the bar. He looked just as equally horrified to see her face and she was certain that he’d never speak to her again. And honestly, if he were even half a decent man, he would have quit his job right then and there–but of course, “decent” was the last word anyone would use to describe Ezra Fitz.
The situation with her English teacher might’ve fully taken over Aria’s brain that night if it hadn’t been for the sirens that began to ring out around 9PM, just as Aria was about to get ready for bed. The sirens were down the street but something made Aria’s blood run cold and she followed that feeling out onto the sidewalk. Sure enough, the sirens were just a few streets over, down by the DiLaurentis house. Oh, fuck.
Alison DiLaurentis’ body was found buried under the gazebo her parents had put up the previous summer. The backyard had been under construction at the time, making it the perfect place to dispose of a body.
The day of Alison’s funeral was what finally brought all the girls back together. They sat with each other in the same pew, as if no time had ever passed. While waiting for the service to begin, the four girls realized that they’d all been getting messages from a mysterious person who signed their messages with nothing but an “A.” Was it “A” for Anonymous? It couldn’t have been “A” for Alison. After all…her body was lying in a closed casket just feet away from them.’
However, it wasn’t until the very end of the service that the girls realized how serious all of this was. Detective Wilden, a hot shot police officer, approached the girls and vowed to find out what happened the night that Alison disappeared, which sent a chill down Aria’s spine. Just as he walked away, all of the girls’ cell phones eerily rang at the same time and the threatening message stared back at them through the screen:
“I’m still here, bitches, and I know everything - A”

I was just remembering Spencer x Melissa Hastings from PLL. They had so much intensity going on... And love... And angst! I have been wanting to read some fanfiction, but there isn't many and got soo sad to learn that one reeeeeeally good and well written fanfic of them was just... Gone from the internet.
They have so much potential! What do you think? I need someone to agree with me so I don't think I'm all that crazy 😅 Did ya catch that at all while it was on?
I'm sorry to hear about that fic disappearing! My advice to all of you is that if you read a fic you enjoy, download it. Don't just bookmark it because anything can happen.
Anon, if you have the URL where it used to be, you can try the Way Back Machine at archive.org
I do think Spencer and Melissa had potential. There was a lot of tension and angst between them that is perfect for shippers who are into that. They were competitive with each other and the tender moments were few and far between, but you knew they really loved each other a lot deep down.

The FINAL Chapter of How Alison Met The Liars is LIVE!
Tumblr media
It was a journey but I have completed this story! The first story I have completed in years and it feels so good to finally do it. I really loved this idea when I started writing it and I am glad to see it through to the end.
This last chapter did cause some struggles for me but we persevered and got it done. Is it perfect? I don’t think so, it could have been written differently and it was a couple of times, but at the same time I do like the direction that I went with it.
So I hope you enjoy if you decide to read, I am not sure what my next story will be but I have some time to figure it out. At the minute I don’t want to commit to any long stories as I know I will get overwhelmed and probably abandon it halfway through so, I think I’ll stick with one shots and short stories for now.
Maybe when I feel more settled into the swing of things we will go for a big story again but I’m just happy to be writing anything, so we’ll take what we can.
Summary: Ever wondered how Alison and the Liars became friends? They seemed so different yet they all had one thing in common, Alison. In this series of short stories we discover how Alison uncovered the girls' secrets and wound them all around her little finger.
AU, loosely based on the TV show.
Trigger Warnings: In Hanna’s chapter there are snide comments about weight and language related to binging/bulimia.
