Another release from Mark and I have to admit this one is a good one. I was afraid it will sound like the other songs but it's really okay. The story the MV tells is nice too.

"running away" is really relateable but sounds like his latest releases and "no tears" also kinda feels like I listen to the same song again but the lyrics are kinda catchy. "imysm" was a single before (Review here). "change up" and "my name" thankfully have differents vibes too the last songs and I kinda like them. "at my low" again sounds like every other song again. I don´t know why "after hours(interlude)" is called an inetrlude when it´s pretty good as a song. "lonely" was also released before (Review here). "2 faces" again is nice but nothing special anymore while "only human" is really relateable and I like it. "my life" was released before as well (Review here) and "exhausted" is very very relateable. "save me" is another song that he released before (Review here). "let u go" is solid as well and "last breath" again was released before in 2021. "hard 2 love" and "broken" and "selfish" have a slightly sifferent instrumenttion than the rest and they´re all pretty solid. Lastly "more" is prett ggod as well.

"Bound" sounds like a club song. Another "Villian" this year. I mean it´s pretty good though. "Burn" is kinda nice and "Guilty Pleasure" again has this club vibe and I´m not sure if I like it. "G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time)" is a solid song and I really like "I Can't Sleep". I´m not sure about "Ain't Gonna Dance". "Another Life" is pretty solid while I really like the start of "Delight" but the chorus wasn´t it for me. Lastly "Proud" is a petty good track.

The last chapter 😭. I gave this whole series my whole heart and soul and I’ve cried this whole time preparing to let them go. I know I’ll shed more when I post this as I’ve worked and grown since writing this whole series. Ever since my best friend @lidongsa said they looked like pimps in 1,2,3 music video at the beginning of the year. I then threw myself down the mafia hole I swore blind I’d never write 🤣.

“What did we do?” Donghyun muttered looking at you concerned. “Trust him Donghyun, he wouldn’t hurt her,” you turned to your Hyung. You had a lack of trust of anyone that wasn’t family but your father knew how much you loved that crazy girl, even if you felt yourself losing her and Bongseon.

The gun echoed in the distance your heart missed a beat, this wasn’t in the plan. You and Woong looked at each other in shock before you dashed as quick as you could to the sound of the gunshot. Daehwi speeding by your side equally panicked. “He wouldn’t,” Daehwi spluttered as you ran to where they had gone in the distance. “I will fucking kill him if he has,” you screamed to Daehwi to prewarn him. Woong was rushing behind you clearly having passed Bongseon to Donghyun. He was faster then you and he waited no time before passing you to get to her. Your heart filled with jealousy that he would reach her before you.

You slowed when your father carried a limp Y/N in your sight. His face full of concern, Woong reaching her before you as your father held her in his arms. “What the fuck happened?” you cried. “I think she fainted from fright,” he said looking concerned. “What was that gunshot?” you asked. “She told me to shoot her, she was willing to die for you all,” he smiled. “I told you we could trust her,” Daehwi said.

“Wait so you shot her?” your eyes widened checking her out for a gunshot wound. “You really are dumb aren’t you,” Daehwi scoffed rolling his eyes earning a growl his way. “I shot the tree behind her,” your father confirmed. Your father handed her to you, her nape of her neck feeling hot to touch. “Father she’s burning up,” you said looking to him. Daehwi got closer touching her face, “Yes she is,” he said looking at you worried. “She feels like she caught a cold from these wet clothes,” he added looking concerned.

You laid her on the bed her shivering in her sleep as you changed her into new warm clothing. Woong watching over you quiet and pale, “She is ok, right?” he asked. You twisted to look at him to frown but saw him looking as worried as you felt so you softened your glances. “I’m sure it’s just a cold,” you reassured him.

Y/N remained unwell for a couple of days, you had called for a doctor, who came to check her over. You and your siblings waiting impatiently in the hallway, Woong with Bongseon in his arms. You felt a little guilty that you had refused to bond with the little mite. Too scared you would fall even more in love with the very bundle that reminded you of Y/N’s words that day. The perfect family they had, that you wanted but didn’t have no more. Woong’s claim to the family you had done nothing but dream and cry about.

The doctor left the room, you all crowded him, “Is she ok?” Woong choked. He smiled, “yes she’s just got a chest infection nothing some antibiotics won’t cure. I’ve prescribed some tablets that are more safer for the baby,” he said in Woong’s direction as he passed.

You froze at his comments the baby was here in Woong’s arms. “But the baby’s already here,” Woong choked. The doctor spun to look at Woong, “she’s pregnant very early, I would say no more then a month, you didn’t know?” he said looking at Woong.

Woong’s eyes widened, him and both of your brothers eyes glazing over the only person that had been by her side the last month. You fell into the wall almost falling over as you felt faint. You knew without a doubt that this baby was yours.

This time you really was going to be a dad. You finally got your very own little family. You was scared, excited, confused but suddenly you felt the most happiest you had ever experienced. This time no one was going to get to your new family.

The sand between your toes the hot Spanish sun warming you. Your life was perfect, the only thing heartbreaking for you was your worlds tears, Bongseon’s in particular as she dropped her ice cream. You got off the warm sand to wrap your arms around the toddler, heavy in your arms. “Did you drop your ice cream princess,” you said hugging her tight to your chest, your heart hurting from the sound of her sobs. “Let’s go get another one,” you said as you swept her away for another ice cream.

Before you could reach the ice cream shack, the most beautiful woman in the world, your moon to two stars, approached you. Her eyes glossing over you, her red Ruby necklace sparkling in the sun. Your beautiful Moon to your world, your complete universe, your beautiful Wife Y/N.

You stroked her jaw as you kissed it, tiny palms reaching to you as he struggled to get from his mother to yours. Yongso, your smiling dragon with his mother smile but your features and also your temper as he screeched for your attention, hard grips as he pinched your skin to be held. His sister ever bit of her father, biting her younger brother in jealousy.

“Ok you two can pack that in,” you said hoisting them on both of your hips keeping them apart. “You can see who’s family they belong too,” Y/N teased winking and rolling her eyes. “Oh no there both all you,” you smirked in denial as your lips found hers.

You loved your little family even though it was an heart aching journey. From hating her, falling for her, losing her and having her forever, she was completely your Absolute Heartache, just now the only Aching was how much love you had for this woman.

I knew Pentagon from their debut. Like Gorilla came out and I loved it and then I was obsessed with Lukewarm for weeks. It made me fall in love with Jinho's voice. I didn't really get into them until Runaway and that's when they really got me lol

I really truly love all of their songs and I think they deserve so much more love and recognition.

anyways without further ado, here are the ones i am keeping an eye on. fixed picks are non-negotiable with any combination of the strong contenders. i haven't thought about the logistics of positions (e.g. main dancer); these are just the people i'm drawn to.

fixed picks

1. cho seongyoun, rank 17: all-rounder of the year. hand on my heart, i believe him to be the strongest contender there. does this man have a single weakness or flaw? the answer is no. this episode showed so much of his personality which i'm so glad about bc it's amazing. who knew mnet could do some things right?

2. choi suhwan, rank 29: i legit spent a good chunk of last week agonising over suhwan's potential departure, especially after he was robbed in the position evaluations. at this point, i don't think he'll debut, but i hope he wows enough people in the concept evaluations to get signed by a company ♡

3. kim yohan, rank 3: he's a PD pick, but i can't help but love him anyway. he lightens up every room he's in and is just so charismatic. would not mind him in a rapping position

4. song yuvin, rank 12: made to be main vocalist, like his voice is sooo stable. has great chemistry with other trainees and he makes me laugh in nearly every scene he's in.

5. lee jinhyuk, rank 2: my reaction today when i saw how high he's climbed confirmed it for me that he's one of my fixed picks. that angel edit did him solid and i am loving it. tbh i would prefer him as a lead rapper rather than a main, but as long as he gets to shine, i'm cool with it

strong contenders

6. nam dohyun, rank 7: what a funky little rapper. the genius edit is a bit overdone, but it's true: his rapping ability is amazing for his training period. just imagine what he'd be like once he fully blooms?

7. han seongwoo, rank 9: everyone loves seungwoo and that includes me. was honestly so surprised to find out that he's a rapper, like what?? with those vocals?? wow another all-rounder here to claim everything

8. kim hyunbin, rank 25: my passionate baby. i feel like the only thing he lacks (and literally the only thing) are solid relations with other members in my line up, but i'm not 100% sure of that. if anyone knows more about that, please let me know!

9. lee hangyul, rank 15: i had him as someone i was interested in last week, but he is now a strong contender. i know bc i realised i lowkey rooted for him once i knew who he was and i just love his personality, he seems so nice and humble. i saw the relay cam of his and something about the way he interacted with others sold me. also (and i swear this doesn't affect him being on my list), the boy's visuals are no joke.

12. choi byungchan, rank 16: i love his personality, i think he'd be a riot on variety. i think his vocals deserve a lot more praise than they get too. out of the plan a boys, he's less likely to make it, but i'd love it if he did.

people i'm keeping an eye on

11. kim sihoon, rank 24: i moved him here from 'strong contender' after a bit of deliberation. i still am very much interested in how he fares on the show, but when i compare my interest in him to others, there is a noticeable difference. i think he is someone i'd be interested in regardless of whether he makes the final line up or not. (i've heard rumours of how fans think he might end up in ab6ix as a late member if he doesn't debut in pdx101).

12. kim wooseok, rank 1: again, i've accepted him as part of the final line up and have no problems with it, but i don't particularly stan him. although! i will say we did get a better insight into his personality in this episode and in the karaoke battle. he seems really... snarky in a good way? a little tongue-in-cheek? i really need to check him out in up10tion

13. son dongpyo, rank 11: i feel rlly sympathetic to him for being the only center to fall out of the top 10 and don't think he deserves it. not going to name names, but he is definitely more talented than a lot of the younger trainees in the current top 10 and has the cutesy image they like so i'm not sure why he's not there. now that he's toned down on the forced aegyo a bit, i can appreciate him more.

14. kim kookheon, rank 22: i can't believe i forgot to add him! i'm absolutely obsessed with the believer performance and he is someone who i keep getting drawn to in that. also he just seems like a stand-up guy.

i think my fav choreo so far is double knot! it just hits so hard how do their legs not break alfdkjas and hmm interesting!! district 9 and my pace were def a lot different from their predebut releases but I really liked them hehe :’) and tbh i have no idea how minho became my bias all of a sudden i just had a ton of inspiration for graphics that involved him and he became my muse of sorts for graphics - before on my main blog i never made graphics and then boom minho happened and suddenly i became a gfx-maker LOL as the saying goes, you don’t choose the bias, the bias chooses you 😭

aND OMG A FELLOW FANTASY?? HELLOOO 💕💕💕 sf9 was my ult group until skz kicked them off the podium but i do love them so much who’s your bias?? 😭 tbh i haven’t been following a lot of the newer boy groups but i do like the boyz and mx (although the news about hwall and wonho is BIG sad ugh 2019 is not our year) and among girl groups i’m SUPER into oh my girl & i like rv, clc and twice!

𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆; was based off my personal opinion, how much i grew to love them this year and based off how much time i spent focusing on them. 

𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄; are we surprised? of course not. they’ve been my babies since i became an army and no one is ever better in my eyes. they worked hard this year as well, and i’m truly a proud mother. they brought me so much joy as always if not more, new friends and memories i’ll never forget. 

𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐔𝐏𝐒; as in second and third place, mamamoo and everglow. both girl groups i love, while mamamoo is my ult gg, i got into everglow little after their debut seriouly and have loved them ever since. i spent way too much time focused on them and around them, but i didn’t have the heart to let them knock my queens off the second place. 

𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒; 4th place ab6ix, they are another group i “recently” got into right after their debut like with everglow. i think they are pure perfection, and stanning them has been real fun, as well as h0e-y since im obsessed with poor woong. 5th place clc, the second gg i got into after mamamoo, but didn’t get far with bc of the little time i had to focus on them, despite all this i adore them, they are the perfect girl crush group, and my love towards yeeun and seungyeon only poves that. 6th place onf, now let me tell y’all, back when i got into them the reason was how amazing hyojin looks and for some reason i have not gotten much more far. i have some knowledge and felt awful when laun left, but it’s still nothing compared to how fast and up to what level i got into and was invested in for ex. ab6ix. so idk what will happen in 2020 when it comes to them, their album was amazing and made me want to actually get into them for sure. all in all they are the best as sixth place for now just bc of that. 

𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀; i tried my best making the colors match up, but it still angers me how bad it is but couldn’t care less to change it. i also tried my best to make this ranking fair, if not for anyone else then for me in the first place. that would be that, still i dont think its a big surprise.
