I have head cannons, or I think that's what they're called. This is the most I've written since I was in high school, which I can't believe was 5 years ago. Thanks, live action one piece. And Buggy simps. If it wasn't for you all, I wouldn't be writing as much as I am today 🙏🏻🤡

Buggy Body Part Headcanons

Okay, so the thing I like about Buggy is that even if he's not immeadatley near you, he can still be there. Example's:

Leaving you his dick, honestly, I feel like he'd do it as a joke expecting you to be Creeped out and never thinking you'd ever use it. And then, much like the fanfic, using it at the worst possible time

I can see him being involved in talking to someone on the ship. Then, he sees you, so he removes his hands and goes to grabs your ass from far away.

And in a fluffier fashion if your afraid of heights he'll offer you his hand to hold when you walk down the stairs or if your walking down a ladder or climbing his hand will be placed on your butt to offer you that support. And even though it's not attached to his body, it supports you well.

If you had a rough day he'll leave an ear behind so you can talk his ear off (literally) while he's working. He'd much rather be in person but this is for when he can't be with you fully.

In the morning, if he wakes up first, he will remove his head and leave his body behind so that way he doesn't wake you. This is important because I feel like he's not a fan of separating his head from his body.

To spice things up he will leave stupid parts of him behind like his hand and you'll be like "what the hell am I supposed to do with this" and then when night time comes you'll know exactly why he left it 🥴

Honestly, him leaving parts like his head or his hand or his dick is fine for me to imagine. But when it's smaller things like his ear or his lips is weird to me. But I had this cute thought like what if he suddenly had the urge to kiss you, but he couldn't get to you fast enough so his lips just float on over and kiss your hand or cheek

I can see at the beginning of your relationship with Buggy. Him leaving parts of himself behind specifically to bring you comfort is unsettling at first and probably started off as a joke but as the two of you continue together it becomes more normal and comforting to a point where if he leaves and "forgets" to leave you with any part of him, you get all upset. And he won't show it. But he will come to regret it too.

Task Force 141 but it's Battlefield's Bad Company - a unit of disgraced soldiers who are valued no higher than cannon fodder but who are also too skilled to simply get the boot. Despite being thrown at the most devastating threats, they are low on resources and lack respect from the rest of the military. No one bothers learning their names, they're not expected to last more than a week. But a small unit of them always manage to pull through.

Captain John Price says he only took up Bad Company because he was given an offer of early retirement if he survived leading the dredges of the military. In truth, he's gone off the books one too many times, his last mission had him temporarily A.W.O.L. as he pursued what he believed was right. If the military can't silence him with retirement, they'll silence him with Bad Company where they'll throw every mission under the sun at him until he inevitably falls. He doesn't comment on how his last official mission went, but if you ever bring up General Shepherd he says he has a special bullet reserved for that bastard.

No one knows exactly why Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley got into Bad Company, he doesn't say. In fact, no one knows shit about him. All anyone knows is that he's a damn good soldier, the longest lasting in Bad Company - he transferred even earlier than Price. Simon says he willingly transferred here because he thrives with the freedom and informality compared to the standard military and no one dares comment on how utterly unhinged that sounds. Still, his personality seems to fit the story; he's not afraid to go off the beaten path to reach the mission objective which seems to have taken out everyone but him.

Sergeant Johnny "Soap" MacTavish is just a menace, but a crafty one which is a problem for the military. He enjoys being demolitions expert and one day got too bored and a little too curious. Destroying physical objects would be too obvious but he may or may not have infected the military system with a virus to see what sort of information he could extract. He learnt the hard and very expensive way that he has a knack for hacking. Perhaps that's why they transferred him to Bad Company, with trash-quality guns, outdated tech and precisely negative ammo, there's not much destruction he can wreak. Well, that was likely the thought process but Johnny's always loved a challenge.

Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick was framed - he presumes. He excels in all the drills, his performance is promising, he follows all the orders, and yet he's here. What he doesn't know is that he doesn't have the personality superiors desire. He questions too much, he's far too open minded, he can't be molded like other soldiers. He's stubborn - they transferred him because he filed one too many complaints of inefficient directives that could be boiled down into polite military speak of "screw you and your orders, I have a better way (P.S. may your tea always be lukewarm)". He's annoyed the big bad men at the round-table and now he's paying the price. Fortunately, those are the traits that thrive in Bad Company and the exact traits that prompted Price to take him under his wing.

And that just leaves you, the newest member on the brink of promotion to sergeant until you were transferred into Bad Company. You're jittery, you've heard of the nightmare that is Bad Company, how it contains the worst of the worst (and yes you are aware that it apparently includes you now). When you step off the helicopter, you repeat your simple goal - to survive this one mission with Bad Company so that you can go back to your squadron and get your damn promotion.

But as the mission progresses you find yourself getting closer to all the members of Bad Company. You look back fondly at the memory of Price forcing the rest of you to run back into gunfire to retrieve his stupid bucket hat, the same hat he plops on your head if you're ever too on edge. You can only feel thankful for Ghost's unconventional medical advice - you have to give it to him, this discount Bear Grylls has saved your life more times than you can count. You look forward to the new creative ways Soap will blow up an enemy cache, or watch as Gaz hilariously tries to mimic your direct superiors with an overly high-pitched voice as Price begrudgingly talks to them over comms.

And that's when you realise that there will be a day where the mission is inevitably over. And instead of looking forward to your transfer back, you find yourself wanting to risk your life every day with your beloved bunch of military misfits, the group of you against the rest of the world, than whatever stuffy perks come with being sergeant.

He takes another swig of his drink, a slight smirk on his face.

Heavy:

He's sitting in the armory, examining Sasha to make sure no one else has messed with his beloved gun and he hears you walk in.

He smiles at you, a light pink flush forming on his face.

"Heavy think.. You look beautiful/handsome."

He likes how well dressed you are, thinking that you should dress this way more often.

"You will do good, Heavy can tell."

He's not as flirty as the others, yet his stomach does flips as he looks at you..

Engineer:

He's sitting outside, by his truck, playing the guitar when you approach him.

He looks over at you and gives you a smile.

"Well, look at you.."

He thinks you look amazing, you should wear that outfit more.

He stops playing the guitar and offers a cheeky grin.

"Wanna sit here with me, hon?"

He's not as flirty as the others, but he absolutely adores you dressed up all nice like this.

Medic:

He's sitting in the medbay, in the middle of doing some crazy experiment that definitely has some life altering effects, when he notices you walk in.

He gawks at you for a moment before clearing his throat and smiling.

"You look good. Ja, very good."

He's a little awkward and he's definitely getting flustered.

He can't believe his eyes, you look amazing dressed like this.

"Did you.. need something?"

He tries to change the topic before he gets too flustered, but it's obvious to you that he's blushing heavily..

Sniper:

He's sitting in his van, cleaning his kukri, when you walk in.

He's one of the more stoic mercs, but you definitely have his jaw dropping.

"Damn, roo.. Y'look stunning."

He blushes, looking away to try and hide his flustered face.

He knew you'd look good but seeing you dressed like this in person makes him turn red.

"You wanna sit here for a bit?"

You caught his eye, as if you already didn't, and now he wants you to stick around more than ever...

Spy:

He's in his room, smoking a cigarette and listening to jazz, when you walk in.

He looks over at you and his mouth goes agape.

"You look.. stunning, mon cher/ma cheríe."

He's enamored, stunned by how well dressed you are and how good you look dressed like this.

He's silent for a moment, not knowing what to say.

"You have a perfect outfit for going undercover."

It's awkward, to say the least. He didn't expect this at all but he definitely likes what he's seeing..

How tall is shrimp yuu because I read somewhere that the twins are double their height in their mer form (I'm not sure if it was a fic or not) so they would be about 12 ft or are they different heights in your head cannons? If so how tall are they and how tall is yuu I'm not sure if you have answer this question or something similar

I found the source! I can't say with 100% certainty it's correct since I can't read Japanese, but according to this post their merforms are very long, about twice the size of their human bodies.

Since they're just at 6ft or over, then it's safe to assume that they would be about 12ft long! Part of this is probably attributed to moray eels (I believe they're loosely based on giant moray eels) being 9ft at least on average. A merman verison would obviously be bigger than their animal counterpart, so it matches!

For Shrimp Yuu? Shrimps are tiny tiny, and I don't think they'd shrink becoming a merperson. I think that they're probably the same size as their human form, legs just now replaced with a tail. I think max they'd be 6ft long, their upper body makes up about 1/3 of their body and the rest is tail to be proportionate. I think this is standard for most merfolk, or else a lot of their proportions are kinda fucked up.

It doesn't matter though, cause they're still tiny as shit compared to the twins.

Everyone watched in mild amusement and horror at S/O's arm getting brutally beaten as they tested out Neon's gun since she wanted to share her love for stronger guns.

Forgetting that S/O was human, and couldn't tank the recoil like a Nikke could.

(Anis) "...Commander, why did you think we needed to add a second Neon to the team?"

(Commander) sigh "Don't ask me, ask HQ..."

But what had piqued Neon's interest above all was S/O's weapon of choice for operations.

When the squad went to the surface, all of Counters carried their rifles, and even the Commander had a pistol for desperate measures.

Meanwhile, S/O had something even smaller than a pistol. It looked like a child's toy.

The squad paused as Neon made a noise that caught their attention, the other three watching their conversation from a distance.

Neon eyed S/O's "gun", one eye peering closely at it, making her scoff.

(Neon) "What the heck is that thing!? It looks so puny!"

(Anis) "That's what she sai-"

(Commander) "Anis, please."

(S/O) "What? It's my weapon!"

(Neon) "Weapon?! That can't even be called a pistol, your finger barely fits in!"

(Anis) "PFFFT-"

(Rapi) "Anis."

(Neon) "Come on, you're a believer of firepower like I am! What's that gun going to do, make laser noises until our enemies die of embarrassment?!"

Distractions [3/3]

Gonna wrap this up in 3 parts. Previous here.

Yo, WHAT was happening on Twitter this week?? Every time I opened the app there was a new analysis of the Goddamn couch scene. I didn't think Trigun could hurt me any more and yet here I am in a new spiral over an internet stranger's hot take.

Anywaaaaay, I've had this brainworm way before whatever angst got a hold of Twitter. I've always interpreted Vash and Wolfwood’s relationship as 'right people, wrong time'. But honestly, I love every interpretation of them - platonic, soulmates, lovers, etc. So, through these comics I wanted to show moments during their journey that conveyed the gradual evolution of their relationship (as I head cannon it lmao). Canonically, Vash never gets to tell Wolfwood how he feels and my poor little heart has been in denial about that ever since. So this is my *slight* rewriting of the series of events leading up to Wolfwood's solo journey.

At this point in the manga (ch. 50) I wanted to show that, despite the 7 month time skip, it's like no time has passed between them. They're still comfortable and casual with each other, still seeking the comfort of distractions - Neither of them wanting to shatter the illusion of normalcy in this moment. And I feel Vash would be the first to ask for more when reality comes knocking (through Wolfwood's fist lol).

He knows, even in a best-case scenario, his time with Wolfwood is limited. And while Vash is just as shackled by duty and guilt as Wolfwood, he carries an optimism about him that Wolfwood lacks. He needs Woolfwood to know how he feels so he can live without regret, regardless of the outcome. As such, he takes the leap. Wolfwood, unfortunately, cannot bring himself to share in that optimism. He’s too absorbed in worry about the orphanage, the children and especially Livio. His heart is screaming at him, but he knows he can’t afford to be distracted by his “selfish” desires. So, he rejects Vash by being realistic and hopes he can see that he wants this too, but just can't bear the impending heartbreak due to their circumstances. Vash does see this. He swallows his disappointment and heartbreak, earnestly grateful for the relationship he still has with Wolfwood.

I know my characterization feels like it conflicts with the moment on the couch; Vash can't even look at Wolfwood for that entire scene despite Wolfwood being the one to try and connect with him ("You look better...when you smile."). However, I never saw that moment as Vash rejecting Wolfwood. Not in the traditional sense at least (maybe an inadvertent rejection). Vash wanted more between them (to share his tomorrows), but not like this - not as a deathbed confession. He's heartbroken and grieving and (somewhat selfishly) can't see that Wolfwood just wants to enjoy his last moments with the one person on this planet he can call an equal and a friend.

Speaking of the dreaded couch scene, I don't think I can add anything new to the discourse, but I will say the tragedy for me really lies in all the emotions Wolfwood goes through:

Being at peace with his death ("This is the way you want it?" "Yeah."). It's what he believed he deserved, with all the blood on his hands, and the mutation of his body, he assumed he could never return to his previous life with everyone at the orphanage.

Grieving for his future (confetti). Wolfwood never believed he could be forgiven. The children celebrating his return showed their acceptance of him, welcoming him back regardless of his sins. He was worthy of forgiveness. His guilt prevented him from even entertaining the thought of forgiving himself. There must have been regret in those tears.

Seeking comfort from the one person he grew to truly trust and Vash not being strong enough to give it. I already mentioned this above, but Vash not even being able to look at Wolfwood throughout the entire couch scene tears me up.

From the narrative's perspective, Wolfwood needed to die. And even knowing that, it still absolutely destroyed me (and still does). Not just because he died, but because right before his death, he was given a glimmer of hope - that had he survived the fight with Livio, he would have had a chance at happiness.

Last side note here: I've seen discourse online explaining the entire scene is a metaphor for a wedding and I just wanna say, you'll be hearing from my therapist.

What if some neighbors really know nothing but others actually do know of a little bit of what's happening but Wally doesn't realize they do so he tries to keep face?

Though I'll admit with your idea of that not being the "Real" Barnaby in the Interview may explain why Wally went really quiet during the interview even when being directly asked things once Barnaby showed up

Kind like he was so focused on the "That's not Barnaby. Why do they Look like him? Who are They??" That the Interviewers questions got completely ignored as "Barnaby" answered the question instead until Wally snapped out of it.

If there's a time discrepancy between "official" audios and the secret ones or at least all audios vs his interactions with the whrp/qa/You - Wally in the official audios isn't quiiiite up to speed? like, he probably knows what he is and the like, but he's still figuring out everyone's places and the nature of his existence. like how in the Halloween "secret" audio 00, where he eats part of Barnaby's candy apple - it seemed like it took a great effort, like Wally was just trying it out. like a "i think i can do this... i'm trying..." it strikes me as a "new" thing for him there. he's not accustomed to it? idk... but whatever the case Wally certainly knows that he has to keep Secrets! can't tell the others about literally anything!

as for the interview - tbh i don't think Wally was quiet because he noticed that Barnaby was (potentially) just a person in a suit. several reasons! i have a feeling that Wally being Aware means that he understands, at least on some level, what a puppet is and the nature of it, so it wouldn't really disturb him? or maybe it would... apple pie and all... SO! another piece of reasoning! it's possible that Wally had no idea that that Barnaby "wasn't" Barnaby. After all, how could he tell?

personally, i think Wally was just quiet because, well, he's not much of a talker - at least not around Company it seems! in all of the audios where he's with other neighbors, he fades into the background and defers to them, only chiming in occasionally. and the Interview appears to be set in the early days of Welcome Home the tv show, so Wally would still be uh. for lack of a better word, fresh outta the box. if Barnaby starts talking, naturally Wally would sit back and let him lead. Wally takes a beat too long formulating a response and Barnaby barrels on - well what would Wally do? interrupt? that would be rude...

Everlark (The Hunger Games, Ch. 23)

katniss hoping the camera doesn't pick up her blush at peeta saying "best thing that ever happened to you." peeta is such a flirt. like he couldn't talk to her for 11 years and you'd think he'd fumble at this stage but nope, the man is on fire

while she's in the sleeping bag she's sharing with peeta, with her head on his shoulders and his arms around her, katniss thinks: oh haymitch probably wants me to keep up the act, i better do something lol

"i noticed just about every girl but none of them made a lasting impression but you" i cannot

when they find out thresh has died, and katniss goes to sleep with her hood over her face to hide her emotions, she says that during this time, she silently says goodbye to thresh and thanks him for her life, she promises to remember him and do something for his and rue's families if she can and i think it's so beautiful that during the victory tour in catching fire, peeta essentially does this with no prompting. he remembers them and pledges to help them on his own accord. and no wonder katniss loves him for it. he is just a wonderful person and he is so in tune with her.

katniss is comforted by peeta's steady warmth

right before katniss says that she's never going to marry or have children because of the games, she thinks of haymitch, living alone, without a wife or children, drunk most of the time, and says she doesn't want to end up like that. so deep down, she wants a family, she wants companionship (for all those people who think she should've been alone at the end of mockingjay)

and then again we have her watching peeta as he sleeps and wondering what he/they will be like when they return home. she admits that she feels like he is actually in love with her and not just pretending.

"he will always be the boy with the bread". - he won't just be a friend because he's the boy with the bread and that is a lot more to katniss. when she thinks of anything beyond friendship with peeta, she feels like gale is watching over her which is very interesting. (would love to hear your thoughts on why because i'm still trying to understand how katniss's mind works). in my head, i feel like she saw gale as her obvious future partner just because of the nature of their relationship but now she's imagining things "beyond" friendship with this other boy peeta and it's conflicting for her. this want of hers for peeta (which turns into a need) that now disrupts what she thinks was a normal necessity in her life.

them and their constant long kisses and absentminded kisses. which katniss doesn't try to stop. like she just accepts them (and i believe participates in them) with no particular thoughts. she just casually mentions they're kissing every few sentences. like girl. i can't believe they gave us extra non-existent gale kisses in the movies but didn't give us the 24/7 smoochathon these two were having in that cave.

the ease with which they touch each other. the way katniss covers his mouth with her hands without thought. the way peeta makes her genuinely laugh while they're stuck in this nightmare

when they're out hunting and she thinks she's lost peeta/he's dead, she's actually completely irrational. her desperation and fear comes out as anger and snappiness but her thought process is irrational. she's so worried about peeta dying that she doesn't stop to think that she would've heard a cannon/seen his body be collected if he was dead by now.

she's so worried by the thought of peeta dying that she is trembling. i really think that after all their days and nights in the cave over the last few chapters, she has developed real love for him. the kind where the thought of him not being with her/in her life would cause her to seriously grieve. not in a oh that was the boy from my district way or oh that was the boy who helped me way or like the other tribute deaths - no, this is peeta and she wouldn't come back from his death.

it's funny that a lot of the time when she's confused about her feelings, it means poor peeta is dealing with her anger. like her throwing a strop and acting like she doesn't want the food he's found or picking at him for eating without her even though she doesn't care. she's so petty.

Kurt is a mutant who was born to mystique who looks a LOT like a devil (technically is half one but that cannon truth isn't real go back to bed), his mother dropped him off a cliff when he was born and he was picked up by a Romani group/circus (fuck old comics man) however he then narrowly escaped being sold to a freak show and found himself in a small German town. There he met a kind priest, who showed him God, and he quickly grew attached to the idea- However, it wasn't long before people began labeling him a demon and soon the whole town was against him with pitchforks and fire. Cornered and injured, Kurt thought this might be the end for him- maybe he would see heaven so long after finding it- but he was then saved by Charles Xavier who invited him to the X-Men. AND ITS BEEN SO MANY YEARS AND HE HAS BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH THERE. SO MUCH. SO GOD DAMN MUCH. BUT THE MOST AAAA THING TO ME CONCERNING HIS FAITH HE WHEN HE LITERALLY DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN BUT THEN BECAUSE OF DRAMA WITH HIS FATHER HAD TO BRING HIS FRIENDS IN WITH HIM FROM THE BEYOND. THEN WITH ALOT OF TROUBLE THEY FOUGHT HIS FATHER AND THE ONLY WAY KURT SAW TO STOP HIM WAS IN A MOVE THAT STRIPPED THEM BOTH OF THEIR SOULS AND PUT THEM BACK ON EARTH. SO KURT CANONICALLY HAS NOW LOST HIS ABILITY FOR ETERNAL PEACE, LOST HIS VERY SOUL, TO SAVE PEOPLE- AND ALSO TOLD NO ONE NOT EVEN HIS GAY LOVER WOLVERINE.

Nightcrawler is a mutant vigilante who looks like a classical demon. He can't even go to church without people panicking and trying to exorcize him. Despite it all, he's so full of faith and hope and compassion, and he wants to believe the best of everyone. Also, he's bffs with an extremely angry Jewish sword lesbian. That has nothing to do with anything, but it's important to me that you all know that.

What if you were a devout christian and literally looked like the devil? He nearly became the pope, which was a plot by some supervillains that also involved faking a rapture? There is nothing like comics I swear to god.

A catholic who is half demon I don’t think I can better explain a struggle than that. But his character is so relatable to people who feel unwelcome with their congregation because of something that is a part of them but still feeling a connection to the faith. Kurt actively engaged in his faith and shares how his faith helps him through all the things he has faced in life and how he found a home with those of the church who leave the judging to God.

so they made kurt a priest briefly before deciding to retcon it, resulting in nightcrawler actually being part of a plan by villains to promote him to pope then reveal to the world that the pope is a demon. wild.

The Ninjago Battle Box: the best investment of my life

A reveiw

A few days ago I got bored and made a somewhat impulsive decision to buy the ninjago battle box which I've been wanting for a while and it finally arrived today so I'm gonna reveiw it cause I haven't seen like anyone talk about it. It dosent even have its own wiki page even though it is chock full of fun facts and information and pictures

The map:

HOLY SHIT THIS IS COOL. As far as I'm aware this might be the most detailed map of ninjago we've ever gotten and no one is even aware of it! What I think is the most interesting and what makes me question how cannon this is is that the main map of ninjago only covers like... 1/4 of the whole ninjago island? Kinda odd how like all the locations are in this tiny chunk when they have a whole island they could cover but hey its still a super cool map and an amazing piece of art!

The book of battles:

Kind of a weird thing and I couldn't find any information on what it was until I got it. Basically each page is a rough (and not 100% accurate) summary of one of the battles of ninjago, a vague but still pretty obvious clue about where the battle took place, a prompt to play and a neat art piece based on the battle. It's not so much a history book as it is a book of play ideas, your meant to use the clue to find where the battle took place on the map and then use the little battle dojo, the minifigures and the cards to play out the battle however you want. Very cute and I love it. One weird thing I found though: in one of the battles it calls the serpentine the serpentai? It's done 3 times so I don't think it's just a typo. Don't know what's going on there but its cool. Here's an example of the best page, they're all formatted the same

It only has a handful of battles, not nearly all of them, but that's to be expected and it's still great

Ninjago world guide:

It's like a little encyclopedia of heros, villains and artifacts. It includes the main ninja, the elemental masters, all the villains (up to season 15 and strangely excluding the overlord), and a bunch of non people important things like the bounty and the realm crystal. Pretty much nothing I don't already know but still neat! It's kinda cool how it's split into 2 sections, one half being heros and good artifacts and the other being villains and bad artifacts. I don't know how to describe it but theyre kinda facing different ways? It's like 2 books in one, both starting on the outsides and meeting/ending in the middle like so.

The cards:

I wish I could show off all the cars but sadly tumblr has a limit to how many pictures you can have in one post. Cards include heros, villains and artifacts, similar to the world guide but not quite as many things, just the important ones. Theyre pretty simple, with just the name/title and a drawing of the character/item. Theyre meant to be used to play the battles in the book of battles. Morro's is the absolute best one look at this little cutie pie!

The minifigures and the box itself:

Nothing really special about the minifigs just a basic Lloyd and Garmadon. Interesting to note that despite wearing his season 8 gi Lloyd has his legacy hood on. Not complaining, I hate the smooth round hoods.

The box that everything came in doubles as the little play area :D its a little dojo setting with some cute nicknacks scattered around. It needs a bit of encouragement to stay flat though. Oh also here's the outside of the box

Conclusion:

The best $25 I've ever spent. I can't believe almost no one knows or talks about this! It's from 2023 and covers up until seabound. I might have to see if I can add this stuff to the ninjago wiki, more people should know about it. If anyone else is interested in getting one (you should be) it's on the scholastic website for $17.99 + shipping, not the actual lego website.

How do you think the yandere turtles would be if they were raised by draxum? Like how would their yandere tendencies be different? (Totally not asking this bc I have a request around the draxum au and I have no idea what to do)

Okay i sometimes wonder about the same thing actually. Like sure, their violent tendencies would be increased tenfold (or even more, who knows) but they might face their human darling with a little disdain and condescension. It would take quite a bit to get them to not only want to protect a human, but love and cherish them despite having been raised to want to destroy them wholly.

Raph would definitely be more temperamental and violent, but he'd have a stronger love for yokai-kind and animals in general. Instead of wrestling, he might end up being very invested in the Battle Nexus and the violence that goes on in there, being the most likely to partake in tournaments for the 'glory and victory' aspect of it, but also because he thinks fighting in general is fun. His darling might either be a yokai or generally, a really weak human. He's the most likely to infantilize his darling, oftentimes babying them and insisting they can't do anything without his help (this applies especially if y/n is a human) He would respect them a little more if they were a yokai, but he'd get overprotective and jealous rather quickly.

Donnie would be the most invested in Draxum's work. He easily grows to become his lab partner, and his ego is only worsened by Draxum's praise and validation. (I secretly think that Draxum would be a slightly better parent than Splinter but I digress) His brothers hate him being quote on quote, Draxum's boot licker. but eventually he grows out of Draxum's validation and tries to find it from other sources. So when he finds y/n, he's pretty desperate for recognition, and even more so if they're a human. He doesn't imagine a human could ever be as capable, smart or talented as him or his kind, and he believes they should act accordingly. He essentially tries to get his darling to be his boot-licker (figuratively and maybe literally :3) He's a pretty patient yandere as well, but he becomes rather sadistic and violent when he's constantly having to force his darling to love him. Overall, an unpleasant yandere unless you're a total masochist.

Leo however... he is still the voice of reason in the team, but he's more likely to venture out into the human realm to 'know more about what he's going to wipe out' compared to the others. He's of course, the least favourite but we all know that. Draxum hates his cockiness, and so he'll tone it up to the extreme just to spite him. He is however, very compliant and lenient to his darling. In the Draxum au, he'd be the most bearable and highly recommended yandere out of the four brothers (imo) He'd purposely treat his darling well and keep them alive all for the sake of going against Draxum, so it's best if his darling manages to pit the two against each other.

Mikey? He's still a ball of sunshine and the loosest cannon in the family, probably being the reason why Draxum hasn't killed Leo yet. Knows how to get on Draxum's good side, and ultimately takes advantage of this when he obtains a darling. He's the most confident in bringing his darling home knowing that somehow, one way or another, the family will just accept it. The kidnapping would happen pretty quickly, and he's just as delusional as he'd be with splinter. He's somewhat tolerable as a yandere, but he is the most likely to dish out the worst punishments if his darling ever misbehaves. He did learn from Draxum after all.

That's all I got for now, I think I could expand more on it, but my shoulder is sore from my massage appointment earlier and I'm going to need a teeny tiny break for that :))

An Analysis of TF:E Megatron

Spoilers beware!

Ok, no, but I feel like there was an incredible amount of thought and care that went into writing Megatron as an Autobot in Earthspark while still trying to keep him true to character and motive, WITHOUT having him come across as a total pushover or an out of character softy.

He's different because he's an Autobot now, yes, but he's still often recognizably Megatron by character alone and I do think that speaks volumes. He certainly has his soft and silly moments - as is expected from what is, for all intents and purposes, a kid's show - but it shows most prominently in moments where he's confronted with the consequences of his own actions and decisions, especially during arguments with Optimus, and I think that's really important to show, and I'm so glad that they didn't just push it off as a "oh well, he's nice now and he and Optimus get along perfectly".

He does actually ARGUE with Optimus, and he does it quite often. He seems to be working with GHOST begrudgingly for the betterment of almost explicitly Cybertronians - his Cybertronians - not because he actually agrees with anything GHOST does or proposes, and almost entirely because he's finally recognized the war as something that was doing more harm to his species than good. GHOST is a means to an end; and I'm partially inclined to think that if it weren't for his good relationship with Dottie that he wouldn't be sticking around as long as he has.

It shows a lot in his interactions with other humans - his interactions with other GHOST operatives are pretty explicitly undercut with disdain and disrespect, and how he talks about them in private he makes it clear he doesn't agree with what the organization is doing outside of keeping the peace; and even then, questions whether the peace is worth the subjugation of his own people: the ONE thing he was explicitly trying to avoid when ending the war in the first place. We don't exactly know Megs' backstory in TF:E, but if it's anything like recent continuities re: miner and/or gladiator turned revolutionary, it just means that GHOST's treatment of his people would sting that much more and he SHOULD have no reason to be working with them if it weren't a truce driven out of absolute necessity. I mean, he even gives Optimus what could be interpreted as a threatening glare during their encounter with Soundwave when he insists that Soundwave will be treated well if he surrenders.

He has absolutely not stopped fighting for what he believes in - not entirely, anyways, and he's not afraid to be vocal about it either, or VISIBLY DISTRESSED when faced with conflict from his own Decepticons - people he clearly cares for. See: his refusal to use his fusion cannon on the casettes. He claims it's "not for squashing bugs", but we've seen Megatron using it on smaller threats already. See: the Arachnemechs; literal bugs that Optimus has been shown to easily crush with his bare hands. If size was truly the issue, he'd be throwing hands with the things not blasting them.

And yet, there's already a degree of character development. At the end of Episode 10 he seems genuinely surprised to see the Terrans and other bots getting along with the humans, and is affected when Optimus says that this is what they're fighting for - not GHOST's agenda. He also apologizes to Optimus in Ep. 8 for being harsh with his words, and seems slightly taken aback when Optimus apologizes back.

I LOVE the writing of Megatron as an admittedly begrudging ally who slowly comes around to his own situation - and yet still unwilling to sacrifice his own morals for a cause; and I LOVE an Optimus that plays into that dynamic with a degree of relent. He is convinced to push against GHOST's authority for the safety of his own Autobots, and extends the same generosity to the casettes at his own risk - and Megs is thankful for it!

This dynamic and writing is SO fucking fascinating so far and I Cannot wait to see more. I can't wait to see how future encounters with Soundwave and STARSCREAM especially will go. I'm curious if Starscream won't bring out the worst in Megatron, and I'm curious how else the show will test his patience and dedication to his cause as a converted Autobot. He already seemed to grapple with his decision when faced with Soundwave - how else will he be pushed, and will that push eventually give way to betrayal? Or will he stick by Optimus and GHOST's side, despite the conflict of interest? Eventually, something is going to give, because in 10 episodes or less Megatron has made it VERY clear that his partnership with GHOST only extends so far.
