** Hachanasat Kalla Opportunity: Help a queer couple start a Jewish home!**

 A couple from our queer Jewish community (a sephardic lesbian, and her nonbinary fianceé) is getting married next month!  They have been through a challenging journey to end up together as the strong and giving people that they are today.  Both were raised Orthodox, and are still proudly observant Jews. Unfortunately, their families are not supportive. As a Jewish educator and a masters’ student, respectively, they are not in a position to cover all of the wedding expenses and other necessities. They have given a lot to the community, and now we want be there for them. Cargo is key to fair emissions calculations, says SHIPNEXT CEO | Marine Jobs

A new emissions index has been developed by independent shipping platform SHIPNEXT, in a bid to address widely-held industry concerns about the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) emissions reduction measures.

According to Alexander Varvarenko, the Belgium-based shipping and tech entrepreneur, cargo is at the heart of the new SHIPNEXT emissions index, which has been designed for vessels carrying breakbulk, dry bulk, heavy and oversized shipments, and in consultation with ship owners.

The SHIPNEXT Voyage Emission Index (SVEI) is based on the individual technical parameters of the vessel, its speed, consumption and intake, whilst also taking into consideration the actual cargo quantity and the intended voyage.

SVEI considers the ship’s fuel consumption at sea to reflect the work of the particular vessel. Fuel consumption in the port is ignored, since such consumption is comparable for most ships and the time of loading and discharging is determined mainly by port technology, not by the technical capabilities of the vessel.

So I’ve had Heisenberg brainrot for the past few days and I’ve been itching to write a Swap AU with the Lords. I don’t have it all down, but I do know that Alcina swaps with Karl, and Donna swaps with Moreau. Miranda might swap with the Duke, and I’m thinking Ethan and Mia will swap. Here are the basic ideas:

Swap!Heisenberg

-Not loyal to Miranda (or her equivalent)

-A refined German Lord/Wine baron

-Possessed a blood disease that would have killed him

-Did not gain his usual powers, nor Alcina’s; the Cadou gave him Hemokinesis (The ability to control blood)

-Does not have daughters/sons; rather Hemokinetic constructs that roam his castle

-Smokes cigarettes instead of cigars

-Eins, Svei, and Sturm are the closest he has to children (the most successful/sentient of his constructs)

-Vampiric, has to drink blood in order to survive

-Keeps a lid on his temper, especially around Miranda (she CANNOT know the depth of his hatred of her)

-Planning a rebellion with Eins, Svei, and Sturm involving his constructs to take Miranda down

-Wasn’t always enemies with Alcina and still has somewhat of a soft spot for her

-Slightly misogynistic

-Still wears those sexy shades

-Cares for Alcina’s daughters a lot; pities them

-Hates what the Cadou has done to him but doesn’t know what he‘d do without it

-Doesn’t perform experiments on women

Swap!Dimitrescu

-Not as misandrist as before, but still will take a lady to a man any day

-A sassy Romanian lady who came from a family that had fallen from grace

-Found her factory when it was abandoned; fixed it up and runs it

-Has metal Moroaica running around it alongside her daughters

-Similar to Heis, did not gain her usual powers or his

-Being around metal in general gives her supernatural abilities (strength, regeneration, etc) depending on the type of metal and the quantity

-HATED Miranda for years and was VERY overt about it, didn’t stop despite numerous intense torture sessions

-Only stopped hating Miranda when she gave her her daughters

-Bela, Cassandra, and Daniella have similar powers but not quite the same as before

-Each one can control a certain kind of metal; regardless of the quantity, they can still control it (Bela’s metal is silver, Cassandra’s is steel, and Daniella’s is copper); However they are more robot than human and being in the cold for too long will destroy their cybernetics

-Alcina is now loyal to Miranda, but mostly out of a feeling of being in debt to her

-Didn’t always hate Karl and actively plotted with him before her daughters came along

-Has a normal height and dresses similarly to OG!Heisenberg but just a bit fancier

-She is still a lady, after all

-Loves her daughters more than anything

-If forced to choose between Miranda and her daughters, she would choose her daughters without any hesitation

-Her claws are part of a mechanical glove she wears; a lot of her powers come from cybernetics and other gadgets

-Lowkey a womanizer??? Still gay as fuck tho

-Smokes cigars like a goddamn chimney

-Would not be impossible to turn her against Miranda
