a fanfic writing challenge - my 900th celebration!

Rules:

have fun

REQUIRED ELEMENT: must feature the number 900 in some way

word min: 900, maximum: 9k. deadline to submit is Friday 9/9 Monday 9/12 at 9:00pm PST.

you're caught, red-handed, and peter's next move could destroy your life forever. unless... you can convince him otherwise

"not my peter?"

post no way home, tasm peter comes back to his home dimension with a new lease on life. problem is, another, identical peter parker is happy to take it for himself. that includes you.

Meet: Spider-Woman (Gwen Stacy) and her 'friends'!

This is honestly just a better introduction for Gwen and as well an intro post for important characters in her universe. This will include more info about her, her Peter Parker, Eddie Brock, and Harry Osborn.

Remember, they're inspired by the Dark What If comics. :)

Gwen Stacy

"Her grip on the gun was tight. Her finger laid right above the trigger. Tonight, vengeance would be theirs."

Gwen Stacy is the Spider-Woman of Earth 836, she's been given anomaly status thanks to an interference with her Peters canon event. She's currently a member of The Arachne Alliance and is in high school, specifically her junior year.

She's been on the job for a few months now, she's still adjusting to everything and has been working effortlessly to stop the Green Goblin. She feels guilty, knowing she caused all of this.

(funfact: she has no powers, all she has is the web shooters and as well her own physical strength)

Peter Parker

"They stared at the Spider-Woman, anger flashing in their eyes as they quickly delivered a punch to her head. They would not allow themselves to be torn off their vessel."

Peter Parker was once the hero known as Spider-Man. But, after a fight with the Green Goblin and an encounter with a symbiotic like creature, he had went missing for 5 months.

By the time he returned, the boy was no more. He had become less of a hero to the city, he had become a danger.

(funfact: This was the canon event that got interfered with)

Eddie Brock

"The man stared at Gwen, his eyes wide as he saw her in Spider-Womans costume. This was not what he was expecting when she told him she needed to tell him something."

Eddie Brock is Gwen Stacy's distant relative and friend, he was the first person she ever told about becoming Spider-Woman, she also told him about the Multiverse.

Eddie Brock is currently in his senior year and has decided to become Gwens 'guy in the chair'. Is he necessarily happy to do this? Not really. Will he continue doing it though? Yep.

(funfact: this fucker was inspired by TSSM, because I freaking love that show)

Harry Osborn

"The boys eyes were wide as he heard the shot ring throughout the warehouse. He looked at Gwen and then back at his father. What had she done?"

Harry Osborn is the child of Norman Osborn and the second Green Goblin, he is currently dealing with the death of his father and has been taking experimental anti-depresssant like drugs. Unfortunately, these drugs have many awful side effects.. like hallucinations.

He's currently the Green Goblin in hopes of ruining Gwens life, he knows about her identity and wants to let the whole world know who she is.

To say the least, things are very personal between the two.

Symbiote Spidey jokes be like…

peter was robbed, venom shoulda been in the 3rd game Symbiote peter would've been a great final final boss. Get him in the suit earlier, then we get more moments like this, see more organic development of his descent. too much in one pot writers, Symbiote Spidey was it, now he gone. I see comps with 37sec to 20min of Bull Peter and i'm like "That's it?!!" What a waste, maybe get rid of those Marlon Jane Watson missions & her trusty all-purpose zap toy nobody asked for and we coulda had more of the better content.
