3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Probably that he talks so little. I mean, a name like Echo you'd think he'd talk far more than he actually does. I don't think we've heard him repeat something someone says... literally ever in tbb series. Which is... disappointing. That and I'm still really bitter that there wasn't more emotional pay out with Rex when Rex is around. Like... idk... I'm going to be real honest bc I don't really have a filter today. Most of the time canon completely ignores his backstory and personality and it really irks me. Canon really mistreats him 90% of the time and for what? What reason is there to ignore him so much? This is why I love and write and read so much Echo centric fanfiction. It just gives me more of what I'm looking for tbh.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Genuinely I could not picture Echo in anything else solely because I love him in Star Wars so much. I just adore it. Ya know what I do think would be pretty cool though? Making it so Echo could meet Din Djarin. I think they'd have such a rocky start but Din would recognize that same type of stubborn indignation and exhaustion that he himself carries along with this steadfast passion for his loved ones and he'd be like... shit... he's kind of cool. I imagine Echo does a lot of reading and knows a lot about a lot of different topics and probably could info dump about what he knows about Mandalorians and their culture and he'd question a lot and bring excellent points and ask Din about his upbringing and Din would kind of love that this man talks a lot and he doesn't have to do much in the way of talking. Idk. I just love the idea of those two meeting. It would not go well at first bc Din has... trauma and unresolved issues that he's working through and Echo would wear this man down like you wouldn't believe. They'd bond over losing loved ones and having chosen families and Echo would like Din's jet pack he totally wants some sort of jet pack I just know it. Echo carves out space for himself and finds home everywhere he goes. Din wouldn't stand a chance against that kind of stubbornness.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Ooooooh boy so many. I have sooooo many. But! Look. I know everyone thinks Fives is the trouble maker of the two of them but I'm almost 100% sure it's Echo. Echo, who knows every rule like the back of his hand (and can sweet talk his way into the most ridiculous loophole you've ever seen) He got into a fistfight in one of the first episodes we've ever seen him in. He has a dry wit and permanent exhaustion and is dramatic and has Fives as a brother and was in the damn 501st so he knows chaos and he knows it well. Echo and Fives balanced each other out in a lot of ways but I'm almost certain that Echo got them into more scrapes than Fives every did (he's just really good at hiding that he was at fault.) Fives ended up taking the fall 9/10 and he got this reputation as the troublemaker, the outspoken one. Meanwhile Echo gets to have everyone underestimate him so he can very easily manipulate the situation to get them out of trouble when he has to.

Oh no not the song question HAHAHA I HAVE SO MANY THOUGH...... hmmm... honestly I can't think of a specific song, so I'll just use the last song I heard haha which is ドライフラワー (dry flower) by Yuuri, and this song gives me those angsty hurt vibes, but not too much of it too.

The lyrics of this song talk about a couple breaking up, but one party is somehow not 'over' it yet, and there's still lingering feelings involved and idk man, if I had the capability to write a hurt fic, I would base the fic entirely on this song haha XD

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

Previously answered here but my answer is no XD I still dislike what I dislike haha. I am a creature of habit and it's very hard for me to discover new things unless I'm interested in it haha.

Oh god I only have one answer for this hahaha and it's the high school au I've written in my chaptered fic Levi's Valentine!!! It contains every thing that I adore: Japan high school au, puppy love, first love, love at first sight, mutual pinning, slow(ish) burn, oblivious idiots, friends to lovers...... all of my favourite tropes are in here and this fic is my baby haha.

Not to say my other fics aren't, but... this fic is one of my most treasured ones and one of the best thing I've written. It's something really close to heart, and it's my favourite hehe.

40. Do you tend to reread fics or are you a one-and-done kind of person?

HAHAHA yes I reread fics a lot, whether it be me as a writer, or me as a reader XD

When I'm writing and editing my fics, I reread them a lot until I (honestly) get bored of it, and I post the fic thinking it's the most meh and boring thing I wrote (because I really read it so many times to the point I don't feel the butterflies when I'm reading it anymore) haha.

Once I post the fic, I don't touch it for a while. But whenever I feel like it, I do like to reread my own writing lol because I know it's written by me and for me, and I know I won't have any complaints about it hahaha.

And since I am a creature of habit like I mentioned earlier, I tend to go back to stuff that brings me comfort and happiness, so I will reread fics I've already read before for that sense of familiarity and comfort, because I know that this fic I'm reading is exactly what I like and can make me feel better. This is probably also the reason why I don't read a lot of fics (oops) because I tend to reread what I'm already familiar with haha.
