You’ve spent all week planning your party

Now it’s finally friday after school, and Heather and Madison are at your place, taking on the monumental task of deciding what you’re going to wear

You decide on the new pair of heels you got as your inspiration piece

They’re baby pink and strappy, with a butterfly shape made of little diamonds on the front

You’ve been absolutely obsessed with them, and the party seems like the perfect opportunity to break them in

You dig around in your closet, pulling a few of your other pink dresses

It’s not much of a contest when you see them laid out, and you choose the light pink satin one to go with your shoes

You listen to Heather and Madison gossip while you dig through your jewelry and nail polish, finding some coordinating accessories and your next mani pedi color

“Which earrings?” You ask them, holding up two pairs. 

“That one.” They say in unison, pointing to the one on your left

You were leaning toward that pair anyway, so you’re glad they agree

After finalizing some details and going over what they’re going to wear, all your party outfits are planned

Heather and Madison leave to get dressed, promising to be back within the hour so you can all help each other with hair and makeup

You’ve  practically become their personal beauty guru since you became friends

You always know just what to do to make their makeup look flawless and their hair cooperate when it’s being stubborn

You’re a big ball of nerves while you get the last details set up

Snacks are laid out, drinks are set up

Now all you need is the people

And more importantly

The band

As people show up, Heather drags you around to socialize

You swear, she must make you say hi to every single person there

If you were a little more cynical, you might pick up on the fact that Heather is trying to keep you away from Rodrick

Rodrick, who you’ve been thinking about non stop since you first saw him

You spend the whole time looking around for him and his band 

You think you see him across the room once, but it’s a girl with a dark brown pixie cut

It’s hard to tell in this lighting, and you’re glad you caught it before you made a really awkward mistake

You’re sure it would have been a funny anecdote that lead to you being friends after

On your way back, you get stopped by Brad

He insists on pulling you aside to talk, which Heather and Madison encourage

But right now all you want is to find Rodrick

And all Rodrick wants is to find you

They’re almost warmed up and ready for their set

And GOD he’s never been more excited for a gig

He’s so ready to go all out

To impress you

And to avoid all Justin Bieber songs to prevent another Heather’s sweet 16 incident

He fidgets with his drumsticks and looks around again

He still doesn’t see you

Which sucks, because he’s been thinking about this exact moment non stop since loded diper got this dream of a gig

He’s been making the boys practice way more than normal

Much to his parent’s dismay (even though they’re starting to sound pretty good)

To avoid another Heather Hills sweet 16 situation

But more importantly, to impress you

When Rodrick fell asleep every night this week, he had a variation of the same dream

Playing at this party, rocking the house so hard people talk about it for years afterwards, and getting to see you

You’re so beautiful, standing dead center at the front of the crowd, looking up at him the whole time

They barely finish their set when you weave your way through the band, and walk right up to him

His heart is pounding as you start praising him, telling him how good he was, how you want to be his little rockstar’s girlfriend

He usually gets so excited he wakes himself up after that

And now

It’s finally happening

His literal dreams are coming true

His band got a great gig

And he gets to play for you

This is probably the biggest opportunity since battle of the bands 

The guys know how much he’s been looking forward to this

It’s all he’s been talking about

He really thinks that if everything goes perfect, he might be able to shoot his shot with you

He just has to focus

Focus on playing a perfect gig, focus on figuring out how to woo you

Once they’re all warmed up and hyped up, they start their set

You can hear the band starting to tune up from the other room, and try for what feels like the millionth time to slip away from Brent

You’ve had to turn him down more times than you can count, and he still can’t take a goddamn hint

“I really have to go check on my friends…” you trail off, finally slipping into the crowd

You manage to find Madison, who signals to Heather, and soon all three of you are hiding in the bathroom

You catch your breath for a little while, touching up your makeup while Heather checks herself out and fluffs her hair

Madison sits nearby, texting someone

After a little while, you sigh, figuring you should all get back

Heather and Madison share a look while you straighten out your necklace 

Heather walks to the door with Madison right behind her

She pokes her head out of the door, then closes it quickly

“Brent is right down the hall,” she says, turning back to you as Madison nods, “we should wait in here a little longer

It feels like you wait in the bathroom forever while Heather occasionally sending Madison out to check

After a little while you hear faint music

Your stomach drops

You can’t miss the band, the whole point of throwing this party was getting to see Rodrick and loded diper play 

“Did they start already?” you ask, walking toward the door

Heather grabs your arm before you can open it, telling you Brent is still right outside, and sends Madison to go check if the band started yet

Madison comes back a minute later

“They’re still warming up,” she says, sharing a look with Heather

A little while later, the music gets louder and you don’t want to risk missing their show

You leave the bathroom before Heather and Madison can stop you 

You’re met with loud rock music reverberating through the house

Definitely not just warming up

You try to get to the other room where they’re playing so you don’t miss the rest of their set

Before you get very far, Brent catches your eye and cuts through the crowd

He follows you around and keeps trying to pull you aside to flirt and talk and get you to go out with him 

You manage to get to the doorway of the room they’re playing when he pins you against the wall

He’s going on and on about how you’d be perfect together, you’d be lucky to get with him, everyone at school wants him

But all you can think about is how great the band sounds

They’re like a perfect blend of all the best pop punk and rock groups you’ve ever heard

Right off the bat, you pick out influences from green day, my chemical romance, and metallica 

You’re really fucking impressed

You didn’t expect them to be this good, and you didn’t have low expectations to begin with

You just wish you could get away from Brent to really get to see the rest of their set before it’s over

When the song ends, you hear Rodricks voice and stretch up to try and see him as he leans into the mic

“Thank you, we are Loded Diper! Fuck authority!” he looks over at Chris, then leans back into the mic “And the patriarchy!” 

Your stomach sinks as you realize you missed most of their show, but you still cheer louder than anyone else in the room

Rodrick lets out a little puff of air when Chris taps his shoulder, getting his attention

“Uh, listen man…” Chris starts, but Rodrick doesn’t hear what he says after that

He looks over to where Chris is gesturing, and his heart sinks

Brent has you pinned against the wall across the room, and you two are looking awfully cozy together

“Shit…” Rodrick says

Once again, he looks like an idiot for thinking he has a chance with you

“C’mon, let’s get out of here,” Ben says, signaling to Ward to help them bring their stuff back out to the van

They wrap it up and leave quickly, and Ward, Ben, and Chris try to figure out how to help their heartbroken drummer 

You spend the rest of the party looking for Rodrick

You hope he stuck around, you really want to tell him how great he was

When the alcohol runs out and the party’s over, Madison and Heather sleep over, helping you clean up 

Technically Heather makes Madison help you clean up

All they can talk about is prom coming up, but your mind is still on Rodrick

And how you didn’t get to see him

You wish you could have told him how amazing he was

Even if he’s not into you like you’re really, really into him

You just want him to know that you could listen to his music all day and never get tired of it

“...coordinating dates, and-” Heather says, turning to you suddenly, “you’re going to help us pick out dresses, right?” 

You nod, flashing her a smile and hoping to disguise your disappointment at how the night went

“Yeah,” you answer as she goes on about finding you all dates

But you know that if you can’t go to prom with Rodrick, you won’t want to go at all

You just hope by some miracle you’ll get to dance with him, at least once

Silver Lining - What If #4 : Thoughts of you …

[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]

Hello my beautiful people,

How have we all been? But most importantly: who is ready for SEVEN?

If, like me, you stop by the bird app every once in a while, you’ve probably read about the fact that Han So Hee is said to be the heroine of the MV and with this bit of news, all the speculations around it. SOME PEOPLE ARE GETTING BARE MAD. Me? Well, following the release of the promotional posters and the schedule, my mind started racing with possibilities; I am a film geek after all.

So I hope you have your tickets ready, as the time to jump on the train to Delululand has arrived, as I take a wild guess about what the song and the MV might be about. As the loco pilot of this train I would like to remind everyone, as always, to exercise caution and open-mindedness as we enter the fun and treacherous environment of Delululand, as everything that is said henceforth is nothing other than my thoughts and opinions. Okay? Let’s go! 🚂🚂🚂

As you might or might not know, I have a deep connection with our Golden Maknae (as mentioned in this post —> Jungkoo-gate ) so as I tried to channel myself into the elements that we know thus far, a couple of things came to mind. Let’s start with the word obsession, which definition is:

An idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind.

As we know, when JK finds something that he likes, he dives deep into it. It becomes all that he talks about, that he wants to do and know about.  Though some of his interests have changed through the years, as he gets older some are becoming fixed passions. Such as body art (tattoos & piercing), boxing, comfy and practical clothing, appreciation and expression of sensuality I’ll get to this in a sec, etc etc etc.

I’m not sure if this was the case before the beginning of their Chapter 2, but mental obsession in particular seems to have become a common theme in JK’s everyday life, and I feel like in SEVEN he might be exploring this side of his. We can notice this for example in Left and Right

Or his bringing up / reacting to JM related content, on multiple occasions

And also, fore= example, the repetition of the song up at night by Kehlani (feat. Justin Bieber), after which particular song he suddenly got inspired and went to work on music.

Up at night, like Left and Right, is a song about not being able to stop thinking about a person, Not a thing, a person. Be it during the day with a therapist, or at night while in bed. SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. Not one day a week, not two days a week, but seven, meaning EVERYDAY. Everyday what? Eating everyday? Singing everyday? Boxing everyday? Thinking of something everyday? Thinking of someone everyday? Knowing JK, if this were to be a person, he’ll most likely say it is ARMY 🤡LOL … Mmmm, moving on.

Sexual vs Sensual.

In the same way the word “Anger” has been highly desensitised as the rapline has cleverly explained in UGH!, I feel that the same faith has met the word “Sexy”. By definition, something sexy is something that makes you think about sex, period. Nowadays however, the word has almost “downgraded” to something a bit tamer, when you see your best friend dressed in a provocative way and say “Ooo, sexy!” you don’t mean that you’d like to have sex with them, nor that people will try to jump them, but most likely they will attract their sex of preference with goals that aren’t necessarily ending up in bed with them. 

The word “Sensual” hasn’t met the same treatment, however, in a weird way, it has been almost replaced by the word “sexual” in everyday vernacular.. By definition something sensual, is something that has to do with the appeasing of the senses, especially sexually. So what’s the difference, you might ask. I once, read this difference explanation and I think it makes very much sense:

Something sexual would equate to having sex, whereas something sensual would equate to making love. 

You see the difference right? One is just the action, the other is the action mixed with emotions, which makes it much more visceral and quite a deeper experience. 

Since Fake Love, we’ve seen JK evolving into a young man who is comfortable with body. When on stage, very much like JM, he has been using his body as part of his performance.

Which begs the questions; is it doing it to be sexual or sensual? 

Whenever he says that JM is sexy does he actually mean it in a sexual way or in a sensual way? When he shows us his abs or poses for a CK shoot, does he mean it in a sexual way or a sensual way? Mind you, as with many “similar but different” aspects in the Jikook dynamic, skin exposure also has its difference between the two. JM seems to have no-clothes as a default in his everyday life, whereas JK has a baggy-clothes policy in his everyday life. IN ADDITION, JM has almost become a bit of a prude reaction to anything that is skin revealing, or vulgar, off stage and in front of ARMY most likely thinking of younger ARMY, JK on the other hand doesn’t seem to mind a tiny little bit as he just want to be free to be himself most likely wondering why are younger ARMY watching.

Now, I’m going to get to the appreciation and expression of sensuality part of this post. A lot of talk has been also made in particular with regards to the rings that JK is wearing in one of the posters:

The most prominent speculation has associated the ring/s with BDSM related items and, obviously, we can’t know if this is the case or not, but what we can do is to point out the fact that JK has found himself inserted voluntarily and not into BDSM related conversations.

If you haven’t seen Love and Leashes I would suggest it, it is a very cute and tame way to introduce or just, explain, the BDSM world, without having to go hard core, it is a movie about BDSM afterall so there will be BDSM stuff but in a very tasteful manner. That being said, as the title and topic of the movie is quite explanatory, the only way you’d watch it is if you are interested in BDSM, or at the very least curious about it, as this is NOT an oscar worthy movie, and you can very much live without having watched it if you haven't noticed by now I am very big on both sex and sensuality. 

Am I saying that JK is about to star in an MV where he is BDSMing with a person he is obsessed with? 

NO. Obviously. This is how antis create stories to rattle people, taking information and reaching possibly triggering conclusions to many a person. But if you take these items singularly and in a mature way, sex, sensuality & BDSM, they are all very adult things that can be dealt with in an adequate and safe way for those who are propense to such things. In the simple manner in which JK answered to have watched Love and Lashes. In the same way, walking around with a T-shirt that has a bisexual flag on it, is different from walking around with a T-Shirt that has someone having sex with both gender sexes, A poster of someone with allegedly wearing bondage rings, isn’t the same way as a poster of someone showing how to use the rings, all supposing those rings are used as those type of rings. For all we know they mean something completely different to JK and only the MV, and lyrics, might shade a light to it as well as JK telling directly what it all means of course. 

And now, last but not least: Han So Hee. Imma keep my pansexual ass at bay and just leave the following edit for all of you to summarise the actress that is  Han So Hee real quick

Also, it is interesting to point out that her latest movie, Heavy Snow, is a Sapphic one (this has english subs —> Heavy Snow):

Now, I don’t know if this has anything to do with anything as I think she is famous in particular for being the heroine in the korean drama My Name, as well as the fact that Han So Hee has something to do with the Wooga Squad, or at least Choi Woo Shik as she was at the premiere of IU & Park Seo Joon’s movie Dream with Choi Woo shik, Tae and JK, but it is something that is worth pointing out, I think. 

So what do I think might be her role in JK’s MV?

In the above picture JK is being pictured in “real-life” and Han So Hee in a movie role. One of the interpretations of the female role in JM’s Like Crazy was that it was his reflection, which I’m also very comfortable in believing, so like, the female equivalent of JM. So what if Han So Hee played the female version of JK shiiiit, if I were JK I'd want Han So Hee to play me!!!?

HAN SO HEE real-life: has tattooes, has piercings, “has” Wooga” squad easy approach 

Looks like a very good actress to represent me, but also if that is the case, the fact that she is a woman, rather than a man is HELLA TELLING, WHICH IS WHY, we need to slow down real quick and think of the other side of the scenarios real quick. 

What if, instead of a young woman whom often has thoughts of thoughts of many things that are often thought as  provocative and/or taboo, so basically a Daring Summer Song, Haegum style, what if it is your everyday love story of a vanilla couple from the female POV as I do think JK is in the video, but not the main character and the seemingly sexy looking part of the promotion poster refers to a sexual part of their “vanilla” relationship in the song, or maybe is just for the posters and has NOTHING to do with the action video and/or song? Because, you know, couples can get freaky every once in a while and if not we need something innovative for a poster which actually has something to do with the personality of the singer?  … 😬😬😬

… ALL THAT BEING SAID, the time has now come to get out of Delululand and straight back to reality. At the end of the day the chances of me being completely wrong about my entire speculation are 85.31%. Yes. But, it did give me a fun ride into JK’s environment and possible scenarios so if all that I thus here speculated turned out to be FAR AWAY FROM WHAT THE SONG AND/OR MVIS ABOUT, then I’ll use it as a prompt for a future movie of mine 🤡.

OMG yes BPP! Jungkook has been writing songs since forever he’s probably already finished his album and just has to refine it now. Probably lol. Your list of collaborators for Jimin is interesting… who do you want to collaborate on Jungkook’s debut solo album?

Hi Anon,

Wasn't Stay on the BE album (2020) a song that was initially meant for Jungkook's solo album? Jungkook has songs. Him taking a break is not for lack of material I'm sure. But it's possible none of the songs he's written so far, are songs he'd want on his solo album now - people evolve and change their minds. It's possible he's in a different state of mind now, inspired by something else, eager to go in a new and different direction since his experiences after BTS's 'hiatus'. In any case, all we can do is wait and see. As this is the Jungkook of Magic Shop, Stay, Still with You, Falling (cover), I'm sure the songs he puts out eventually will be of good quality and ultimately true to himself.

Now about the collaborators:

Some months ago, an Anon asked me about Aurora (though I never posted the ask). For that Anon, if you're reading this, I absolutely adore Aurora and I think she'd be an awesome collaborator for Jungkook.

Her brand of EDM + Art pop + haunting synth pop would suit him wonderfully and also be something a bit different from the stuff he's put out so far.

I can hear him belting a la Falling on this instrumental, harmonizing with Aurora, and it sounds heavenly in my head.

Another collaborator I'd love for Jungkook would be Sweet the Kid and/or Jimmy Brown. Either of them with Jungkook would create the baby-making track for the ages.

Now, I might be alone in this, but I'm dead certain Jungkook would absolutely body a reggaeton track. Like whatever JB can do, Jungkook can do better (most of the time anyway, cause y'all, I might not always like the guy by Justin Bieber's vocals are nothing to sneeze at... Especially lately). Anyway, since this is a wishlist, I'd love to see Jungkook on a track with Carlos Vives and/or Shakira.

Selena G is wonderful and truly inspiring. She was always given the shit end of the stick: Disney childhood and the horrors that come with that, chronic illness, emotional abuse, hounded by the press and paps and interviewers about her personal life, mocked for her supposed lack of singing talent (bullshit. Like yeah, she’s not a Whitney Houston type powerhouse, but her voice is lovely), and then that series of professional and personal embarrassments with justin marrying his doormat to spite her, the widely mocked VMAs performance following a panic attack…and guess what? She turned it around. Joining Steve Martin and Martin short for only murders in the building (and coming in as a producer as well) was a genius move! She exposed herself to an entirely new demographic and took on a more “mature” image without having to be hyper-sexual, which is something she’s expressed discomfort towards before. And then there’s Rare Beauty and it’s focus on accessibility, the fact that her music is 100% pop but always forward-thinking and high in production value, her openness with mental and physical well-being…she’s a star. An icon. Love her! And she’s always reminded me a bit of louis too, lol. I wonder if they got along in the past. I wouldn’t doubt it, considering she once planned to take lottie on tour.

I had forgotten about Selena taking Lottie on in 2016! Selena certainly is a class act; she’s proven herself in every way. She has actually risen above her critics and the messy tabloid narratives hounding her. She’s risen above Hailey Baldwin’s obsessions and the Justin Bieber drama.

Oh and her song Hate You to Love Me was actually incorporated into the dramatic plot of Hacks Season 1, a great sync opportunity for her. Doing Only Murders with legends like Steven Martin and Martin Short was a genius move.

Her grit and intelligence remind me of Louis too. Maybe someday he can shed his most controversial fans, his boyband history, the toxic hangers-ons obsessed with him and with their shared past, and rise above it all.

Fall Out Boy So Much (for) Stardust

~First Impressions~ Review: First let's talk about what everyone else is saying and then I'll go track by track. "Love From The Other Side was misleading" "The album is very 80s inspired" "We're getting Folie A Deux 2.0" "Disappointing." While yes, LFTOS may be more in your face than the others, it was the "omg Guitars!" people who misled themselves. FOB is my top favorite band so I know better than to make inferences based on the first single. Yes it feels very 80s with the rhythmic drums, uppity messages, and what has to be direct references to other earlier artists but lucky for me, my favorite genre is that 80s influenced happy guitar music and one can't help but to compare this album to Patrick Stump's solo album Soul Punk. The evolution feels natural; Soul Punk - ambitious but underdeveloped, Mania - well produced but wrong audience, So Much (for) Stardust - right ideas right execution. I was hoping for a Folie 2.0 actually, it's my favorite album and I think we've evolved enough to appreciate another bass riddled, poetic, solemn-happy album. This is definitely not another Folie. If anything it's a Mania 2.0 but there's some moments in songs, some lines that remind me of Folie. That's the beauty with this band, you can really feel everyone's contribution to this album. Pete's lyrics unchanged from the early days, Patrick's soul made futuristic, and of course Andy and Joe's experienced-rock artistry. The songs are cohesive and the lyrics bounce well between gleeful and nostalgic however, I would like to hear more from the guys about the message they were wanting to get across this time around. Lastly, if I had to pick a single gripe with this album, it would be that its not what I needed the moment that I first listened. When listening to new albums, I look for two things "Does it make me dance and/or does it completely enthrall me?" At the exact same time, Babymetal dropped their new album The Other One and after a still listen to SMFS, I found myself bobbing along to Babymetal. This doesn't mean it's not a dance album. I just wasn't in the mood for an 80s jam. Now if you asked me to describe the album in one word or put me on the spot, I don't hate it and I don't love it YET. I enjoyed listening to it and my one word would be, "It's creative."

Love from the Other Side (I didn't even think to put an emoji here) What can I say, it's a good song. I've had more time to sit with this one. Learned the words, the bass line, and all of Patrick's vocal inflections. There's nothing new that can be said.

Heartbreak Feels So Good🎈🫂 When this song first came out I remember feeling my heart drop. I was freshly surrounded by the idea that this album would finally be a rock album and then I heard the opening which sounds a little too much like Let Me Love You by DJ Snake and Justin Bieber and I immediately thought, "Oh God, another Mania." But that mentality conflicts with the actual grit of the song (Also, I enjoy Mania). It feels like a heartbreak song. Like a "Remembering the good times, the bad times, and having a cry over what it used to be." Like a Jet Pack Blues or Favorite Record. It's catchy, it's good, and it's relatable.

Hold Me Like a Grudge👑😀 Again, the opening sounds too much like Another One Bites The Dust for it to be non-coincidental. The descriptive word I got for this is "fun." (Future me here, there's literally a line that goes, "You put the "fun" into dysfunction" This was not intentional). I like the way the lyrics are sung, like half of this album borders on being raps. It's got the same sentiment as early FOB with the, "You can hate me but my life is glitter" idea and it's a certified bop, solid song.

Fake Out🍬💋 It's sweet. Cute. Kisses. Lovey, lovely. I like it, I don't know what else to say.

Heaven, Iowa👩‍🎤 This song is a full blown power ballad. It's beautiful. It kinda tricks you starting off slow but the slow build is worth the pay off. I love the melancholic or maybe nostalgic instrumentals. You know, I was scared of this being another City In A Garden (I don't know, if I see a location in the title and think "Not another song about Chicago" Chicago isn't even in Iowa???) This is one of the standout tracks on this album.

So Good Right Now (co-writer: Robert Byrd) This might be the shortest song on here at two minutes and fifty-eight seconds and instead of an emoji, I'm leaving you with this information. Clearly influenced by the vocalizations of Little Bitty Pretty One and the try-hard feel-good vibes makes the fact that they credited multiple writers on this one laughable. Half of it is just repeating the "So good right now" and while a quick little break from the songs with messages is totally excusable it's definitely the weakest of the whole album.

The Pink Seashell❓️What is this. What does it mean, how does it relate to the album's story? After the whole "red-herring" promotional material, the Pink Seashell Beach homage here is hilarious. It reminds me of the lyric, "The time my dad caught me a horseshoe-crab and I asked if throwing it back into the sea would bring our luck back," (This Shipped (Gold) Standard).

I Am My Own Muse🎸SMASH ALL THE GUITARS WE GOT TO THROW THIS YEAR AWAY. I like this song. No really you can't go wrong with an orchestral instrumental. It's catchy, it's eerie, it's demanding. The violins ARE the moment. It's great.

Flu Game🐒 I also really like this song because it reminds me of Fall Out Boy's cover of I Wan'na Be Like You (I'm so obsessed with the live version) and that one part from One & Only by Timbaland. The swinging drum beat and the funky nanananana's. The cocky lyrics, the ATTITUDE, the harmonies. It feels so Patrick Stump. This is a song I wanna sing at the top of my lungs.

Baby Annihilation📝 So I heard ONE person say this before listening to this "song" and it kinda warped my perception. The spoken poetry at the end of 20 Dollar Nose bleed was brilliant. It worked with the tone of the album, it was unique and original for FOB, and what makes their lyrics so great is Pete's poetic inclination. However, 15 years later, a grown man reading a mediocre poem unaccompanied, unexpected, unwarranted, is not as edgy and impactful as it could have been. (Update I forgot about Get Busy Living and im starting to change my mind). I think what would have made this work is if they stuck to one spoken part, one intermission, either this or The Pink Seashell. OR space the two songs out more evenly. These should act as segues into a new part of the album's story. The second half of the album is just as strong as the first so these breaks feel unnecessary (Disclaimer: I could read and enjoy Pete's poetry for days on end but let's not kill the momentum here)

The Kintsugi Kid (Ten Years) 🔟🕙 This song feels like an ode to the mmrs and its a sweet somber one. It's also 100% an 80s movie-prom dance-song choice-moment and the dog barking at the end is adorable and reminds me of something (It's gotta be a movie reference but I can't place it (Also I'm pretty sure it's a human girl impersonating a dog, though I imagine it's the dog on the album cover)). However, this is where you learn that I hate slow songs on albums and this is the slowest one rhythmically. Sure if it comes on in a random playlist I am more likely to enjoy it but as of right now I have no strong opinions. I will say as we're nearing the end of the album, one might start to get weary. There are a lot of songs on this album so I find that slow songs have better luck near the middle point of the album.

What a Time to Be Alive🎥 This one totally feels like it should be playing during a montage or ending sequence in a teen-family movie. The song feels like a happy "what a time to be alive, everything is so sweet" but it's Fall Out Boy and it's pandemic themed so it for sure is a "what a time to be alive, this shit sucks."

So Much (for) Stardust 👍FAV FAV FAV The instrumental at the beginning reminds me of early 2000s RnB ballads. It feels like another "Nobody wants to hear you sing about tragedy," (Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes). It's the, "yeah we're famous but look at what we lost on the way, what we had to sacrifice, was it worth it?" It's the Folie mentality and I eat it up every time. It works so well with this band when you know about all the struggles they dealt with in their personal lives. Pete's Bipolar Disorder and the various affairs and tabloids, Patrick's modesty, weight, solo career, hair line (dude?), Joe's mental health and his role in the band, and Andy's... I don't know, Andy is just there. It's no secret that the fame was hard on them so FOB, you guys are all wrong, I want to hear you sing about tragedy. Not to mention the choir that comes in at the end and Patrick's ability to riff and belt and just get jiggy with the rhythm is freakin' gorgeous. This song is the most perfect icing on this cake. It's a beautiful fade out and the repetition of the "You were the sunshine of my lifetime, what would you trade the pain for? I'm not sure," is pure excellency. What a wrap around. This song balances despair with hope. It's melancholic, it's upbeat, it's desperate yet it comes across like anyone could feel the same emotions. And let me also just say I'm so happy they featured a classic Pete Pun™ in the song (and album) title. I've read nearly all of dear Peter's livejournals and blog posts and he does this so often that it's endearing to see in 2023.

Buzz Buzz Buzz. I woke up startled by the vibration over my belly. It was my cell phone. I sighed looking at the ceiling, the place, my feelings, easing the situation.

The sheets were wet, stuck to my skin because of the sweat, but despite that, I was covered with a thick sheet, the weather were fine but everytime I go through those emotions, it affects me, not just mentally and emotionally but also physically and last night, I felt so cold. My arm was around his pillow, which I made a point of spraying with his favorite perfume last night. It was one of those difficult nights and I needed to feel him close somehow.

I spent the night on Instagram, watching news on gossip sites. Of course I shouldn't do that, he told me it wasn't a good idea, he don't wanted me wondering things and after all, it wasn't helping me at all, every time I saw a picture of them together, even though I was fully aware that it was just a scene, it was like a strong blow to my heart.

Dating one of the most coveted celebrities in the world is perhaps one of the biggest challenges of my life. Or maybe the only one, because I have in mind that my life has never been the most productive. I'm only 19 years old, I have a whole life ahead of me, I can do a lot if I want to but I'm not very proud of my past, it may not seem like I didn't try to change, but when you deal with panic, anxiety and depression, the simplest things become a huge ass battle.

Many years ago, I always had difficulty in school, learning was always a challenge, I had a lot of difficulty focusing on classes and even more difficult to make friends, for me, I would be alone all year if no one tried to get close, I never managed to give the first one step. I managed to finish school, but middle school was where everything really started to fall apart. I had no friends, I talked to everyone but they were just classmates. I started to miss classes and one fine day, I gave up, however for a lot of my mother's teaching, I continued studying at a distance, at least to complete high school and succeeded. However, I spent about two years, doing nothing besides sleep and eat, until I decided to try to go to college. I tried, for three months, it seems little, but for me, it was a lot. It took a lot out of me, I really couldn't handle it. Whenever it was time to go, I felt that nervous, cold sweat, I couldn't even move. It hurted me to give up again, especially for my mother, seeing her suffer made me feel worthless and selfish.. so, again, I spent several years doing nothing in my life, this time, nothing that my mother tried, worked.

She started to think that I needed a new environment, new people and experiences and then, she said that I could choose somewhere to spend some time. I chose London. I traveled alone, and for the first time, there was some peak of happiness inside me. I was living in a hotel but my mornings boiled down to hot coffee as I enjoyed watch people living their productive lives in Hyde Park. And then, for several days, a handsome blue-eyed Brit with a big dog always by his side caught my attention. Of course I knew who he was, I'm kinda nerd, I loved superheroes and Superman was one of my favorites, and of course my legs shook every time our eyes met and how he smiled awkwardly as he looked away. It started like this until he got close, then we jumped in for small conversations, until he called me for lunch at his house, where our first kiss happened, until we became close friends and I became Kal's babysitter sometimes when he couldn't take him to work or needed to take a trip. And after years, I'm here, at the home of Henry Cavill, a celebrity and my boyfriend. It was a shock for my mother to know that we were going to live together, I actually never had a boyfriend but according to her, I showed happiness and confidence, and she was overflowing with happiness to see me like this so she trusted on him.

Again, dating a celebrity is not easy. It sounds bipolar but I don't care much about what others think or say, but yes, still other people's opinions can affect me a lot. So, we decided to keep our relationship between the two of us, he had relationships where the fans could fall on top with false accusations, malicious words and even threats. It was difficult for me, but I had confidence in Henry and I opened up about my insecurity problems and it was the reason for our decision, he was afraid of what these people could do to me mentally.

But now, with, people thought he was single, which didn't bother me, but his managers wanted something to spice up his career, so now, for the media, he's dating an actress. It was all staged, as some call it, it's a PR relationship, paparazzi are hired to picture them everytime they hung out together, tabloids are paid to talk about rumors, they would post about each other on social media. And me? Why I'm handling it? He asked me too, many times. I would try my best to look fine and strong but he knows it's not easy to me. That's the main reason of why I barely slept last night, seeing all this mess on the internet. Torturing myself like I'm some weirdo masochist.

Henry called nights before, like he always would do when he's away, even with his complicated schedule, he would always find some time to me. On our last conversation, he had a good and bad new. The good new? he's were coming back home in few days, coming back to me and Kal. The bad new? in few days, the tabloids would be on fire about new candids of them hanging out together, again. I was aware of every move, he would always tell me, without many details cause he knew it would hurt me but often, our conversations would end lead to "You sure that you want to be with me? You deserve better, I'm not even always by your side when you need the most". Partially, yes, it's truth but it's his life, he had to do certain things and I trust him, I love him, more than everything I've loved in my whole life. I am insecure? Hell yeah. I threw my phone on bed, I knew it were full of shit about him and "his girlfriend". And again, that bad sensation on my heart, I was sad for causing sadness on him, I could see how hard it were for him too but I would never ever ask him to give up of his dream because of me, I'm not worthy of such effort and I have no right to ask him anything like that.

After he wash my body and my hair, he grabbed a towel and helped me to wipe it. Wrapped the towel around my body after wiping his, and naked, he went behind me, tightly with his arms around my shoulders leading us to our room while he spread soft kisses on my neck.

On bed, I saw for me some clean panties and his iconic blue shirt that made me smile, next to those, his underwear and some sweatpants. He grabbed my panties before sitting on bed, stretched his hand to hold mine and put it on his shoulder to support myself while I stand between his legs and helped me to wear it and his blue shirt. After that, he made me sit on bed and sat behind me, using my towel now to wipe excess water from my my hair, he got my brush, softly started combing it. During the whole process of helping me on bath, then to get dressed and untangling my hair, the tension of my body started to leave like smoke, my heart started beating again without haste, my hands and feet wasn't sweating cold, my nerves could relax, my soul wasn't feeling lonely anymore.

Henry finished with my hair and I felt he moving away, he wore his underwear, his sweatpants then laid on his pillow and patting his chest. I laid on his body, between his legs, with my head right on his naked furry chest, closing my eyes, curling myself like a little abandoned kitten and listening to his heartbeat. My favorite song. Feeling his unique male heartwarming essence and he put the sheets on top of us and again wrapped his arms around me, holding me tight and firm, making me feel safe again, making my doubts about us and me to disappear as his soft fingers caress the skin of my arm. We stayed like that for a while, in silence, just us and our love.

What is the most recent article of clothing you’ve purchased? I bought very late Christmas gifts for cousins I was only able to see just a couple of weeks ago - and they all put various kinds of clothes on their wishlist so I took a quick trip to H&M and Uniqlo for those. I believe the last gift I was able to secure was a black jacket.

Have you ever paid for anything with a cheque (check)? Kinda, yeah. I’ve paid with a cheque on my mom’s behalf, but I’ve never had my own. 

Do you know anyone who was raised by their grandparents? My siblings and I technically were. My mom and dad did live with us and I saw them everyday; but they were raising us at the same time they were still building their careers so they were very busy nonetheless. My grandma practically raised us, in that respect. Have you ever made your own pie from scratch? Yes but only because it was required to do so in home economics classes. I’ve never made my own pie because I *wanted* to make one.

Who was the last person you had an in-depth conversation with? My aunt, two uncles, and my cousin and her girlfriend - just a few hours ago, actually. I just got back from my aunt’s place and we had several serious convos come about earlier.

Are there any waterfalls nearby? I wouldn’t call it nearby, but yeah we have waterfalls here.

What was the last food item you ate? I literally ordered McDonald’s’ Korean-inspired chicken burger on my way home. I took a bite of it just now.

What are your earliest memories of going to see a doctor? When I went in to visit the school nurse when I was 4 and was asked to peer into this telescope thing. It was to check my eyesight, I believe.

Can you hear traffic right now? No. I live in a gated subdivision, so barely any noisy car/train noises here.

Have you ever pulled a muscle? Sure, usually the ones on my shoulders or neck.

What did you do last weekend? Last weekend...that was the first non-eventful weekend I had in the last month, so I wanted to spend it just napping and curled up at the couch. The only active thing I did then was to take my parents out for dinner Sunday night, but otherwise it had been a very unproductive couple of days.

What is your favorite gaming console? I have lots of memories with the PS2 so I’d go with that.

Are you talking to anyone via instant messaging right now? Nah. My aunt just replied to me on Viber but it’s the kind of message that concludes a convo, so I don’t have to reply to her anymore.

Have you used a telephone today? Just my cellphone if it counts but I haven’t used landline at all today.  Do you prefer coffee or tea? Coffee. I never drink tea and when I do it’s always an unsuccessful attempt at trying to like it.

How many theaters does the closest cinema from your house have? I’m not sure...I think it has four? Two on each side. I could be totally wrong though; I haven’t been to the cinemas since 2019 hahaha.

Do you always have a stock of alcohol in your house? Yes, even though I am the only person in the house who drinks lol. I always keep a stock of soju in case I want to drink, or in case friends come over on short notice. Have you ever had a pumpkin latte and if so, did you like it? I’ve never had a pumpkin latte – pumpkin isn’t a popular flavor here – but the Starbucks branches here will usually offer it as a limited-time thing every October or whenever fall is so people here can feel like Americans lmao. Anyway, it’s always sold out when I try to order so I’ve never gotten to try it.

Have you had a nap today? Yup, I had a nap this afternoon and it felt sooooooo good. I barely had any sleep the night before and I was scheduled to go to my aunt’s tonight, so I took a few hours to rest and recharge and all.

Is there an antique store in your town or city? If there is, I have no idea where it is. But as far as I know we don’t have any.

What is the first thing you do when you get online? Depends on my agenda, but typically it’s to check my social media.

Have you ever been camping in the wilderness? I have not. I’ll need someone much more experienced to come with me if I were ever to do this for the first time too, hahaha.

I’m extremely open when it comes to trying different types of food, but I have my certain preferences when it comes to food if that makes sense?? Like I’m ok with fish but I much much prefer sushi over cooked fish; or how I enjoy French fries but prefer them burnt or nearly burnt because I wouldn’t touch fries that still look kind of pale or floppy.

Have you made a large purchase today? I mean I guess it’s large when it’s in proportion to my salary, but objectively it wasn’t too expensive. I spent over a thousand bucks for my cousin’s birthday gift.

How often do you eat Subway? Never. It’s not that I dislike Subway; I’ve just never had cravings for their sandwiches.

Ohhhh music. I love music! Honestly, I don't think I could live without music. I wake up to music, shower with music, cook to music, EVERYTHING. I have playlists for certain stories just to get the right feel, or even playlists for certain scenes (a fighting, love, death, and a sex playlist)

Because I wasn’t able to update the next chapter this week (stares directly at my other deadlines) – so I thought of updating you guys with something that is rather different instead! :D

Whenever I write, sometimes I would reach roadblocks, and ideas just wouldn’t come out. Usually by then, I would start to imagine things that most of the time are totally unrelated to the main story (haha).

Anyway! Long story short, these are the character profiles that I imagined when I designed them on my head (lol?)

On Make Your Day, the flower language meaning for Buttercup is “Your charm dazzles me”. This is why Yuta knows ___ is attracted to her. If you didn’t notice, Yuta already know that she’s the florist during their first encounter at Nonstop. That is because Yuta remembers their first encounter, too

The tune that ___ listen to at the end of Make Your Day is Always With Me (Spirited Away theme song). I personally feel the scene (on my head) fits the song perfectly! If you want to give it a listen, I recommend the piano version

At the end, ___ gave Yuta anthurium, which means hospitality and happiness. Note how I never really specify their relationship status, since I want the readers to have their own interpretation on the continuation of their relationship

Yuta’s haircut was actually not planned, but it fits the transition since he did cut his hair haha

The hardest chapters to write was Pandora’s Box and Not Alone – purely because they’re mostly transition chapters

Out of all chapters, my personal favorite from Interlude would be White Night and Nonstop for Prelude.

In fact, Nonstop would be my favorite chapter. I think I was so immersed with Jaehyun and [Y/N]’s wedding so I kept including TONS of details hahaha (I hope you don’t mind lol)

i dont really have an answer for this. i think i just automatically think about any song ive been listening to recently or any song that has been stuck in my head. 

2.  Do you have some snacks nearby when you write?

well i live in a two story house so the kitchen is downstairs and im usually lazy busy so since i have a mini fridge upstairs i just usually get water to drink while im writing. its kinda hard to eat and write cuz i loose focus really easily so when i am writing i am writing! i am in the zone! but if i am a little hungry ill usually snack on candy like chocolate kinder joys i love them but they r so expensive or snack on chips but i get like salt on my fingers or i like cheetos so cheetos dust and that just gets everywhere and later my hands and keyboard kinda smell like fart. 3. What do you do to combat creative burnout?

so burnout happens to me a lot so to get inspiration i either read other stories or fanfics which gets my head gears turning or i admire a piece of art or photography or a song. whats so unique and satisfying with writing you can explore and go anywhere with it, hehehe erotic if you know what i mean lol jk there are no barriers with writing just your imagination. there is inspiration any where you go and id advise to never stop writing. even if its a few short sentences or paragraphs about anything even bird poop its still progression and your mind is working and your searching for words like its all good for you bby.  4. Do you use (or like to use) prompts? 

i do ill put the link here. im thinking of changing it though to do something different. 

5. What is your favorite place to write?

lol boring, i know but my room. my room is really bright in the mornings and comfortable and chill and i have a candle of the pandora ride in disney that smells like the ride so its all good and relaxing and super peaceful plus i have a picture of myself the age of like 9 on my desk idk why but it encourages me and makes me focus to make sure i never get that cringy again. 

6. What is a hobby or yous that you usually don’t talk about?

well i like working out HAHAHAHAHA jk that was a joke...get it...cuz i much rather be eatingokillstop. but i really like to draw which i have a art page you can see it if you click here pls look at my failed attempts to be hip and cool with the cool kids and being artsy fartsy. another hobby is i really like to do makeup and nail art, nail art is really tough guys no joke if you do it like you got wizard powers are something. maybe its bc my nails are shorter than pete davidson and ariana grande’s relationship, alright im trying to stop i swear!

7. Do you play an instrument? Which one?

no i wish though. i always wanted to learn to either play the piano or electric guitar cuz H.E.R looks so cool doing it. 

8. How do you feel about your handwriting?

it sucks dont even try me. my sister can barely read it like no wonder nobody wants to steal my signature heck they can’t even read it!

9. Can you tell us of a story that marked your development as a person? As a writer?

so it was elementary school, i think 3rd grade and for my writing assignment we were given a prompt of idk what the heck tbh i think it was like be outside the box and im like ok imma nail this cuz im a weird child and yeah so i got my papers and pencil and i went TO TOWN on this paper. so i wrote two stories. one short story with a picture to go with it and one long story that yeah i buried years ago. so my first story was about a farmer was about that farming life. he had chickens and dairy. so i cant remember if the cheese was spoiled but doesnt matter. anywho these cheese and a chicken were alive like they could talk in the story and i gave them faces, yikes. but the whole story was the farmer was a b*tch and he was trying to eat the chicken and cheese so they hatched a plan to get away from the farmer. they did it successfully and they ran away. yay happy ending my teacher actually liked that one me too and my school mates were thinking what they heck is this girl on i made a story about how me and justin bieber made cookies for Christmas you know. so then my other story i was more proud of this one cuz it was a tone of paper, sorry trees, and this story was about how a female hippo (girl i was all about plus size and thicker girls and no body shaming) and an male ostrich were kidnapped from their own habitats and taken to become circus animals. failed version of Madagascar hey mine was before the circus movie OK THEY STOLE IT FROM MEEEEE. so they get taken and are treated to harsh punishment and the animals can talk and i think its in the point of view of the male ostrich guy thing. they are in the circus and they start to have this relationship happening. love starts blossoming its all good. im happy with this cuz i believed in love at age of 8. they find a way thru a kick butt scene of the animals escaping and the hippo and ostrich are so in love that they run away together and they have half hippo half ostrich babies and i think i named the species  hipstrich or like ostppo idk but i was so proud of this story and when my teacher read it she was worried about me lol i think she thought i might like mate these two animals like secretly idk but she was like it was ok and i was like what this is frickin William Shakespeare writing or like F. Scott Fitzgerald writing. nevertheless it taught me a lesson that nobody else needs to like what im writing the main point and only thing that matters is if your proud of it and you like it and i really did. i will remember that story forever and thats what made me want to be a writer. lol sorry that was a lot.

1. What is your favorite book?

fifty shades of grey hahaha naw my favorite book is obv you all know this is series of unfortunate events but i never usually cry period and i never cry for books ever so when i read mrs. tom thumb by melanie benjamin, its the part when her sister minnie dies i cried so hard idk it was just emotional the wording the way she described her pain it was so beautiful written yet so sad and that was just amazing to me cuz im like this book made me feel things and im like wow i would love to write a book one day and make someone feel something whether it be sadness anger happiness annoyance anything they are having an emotion and that is super powerful to do that with just words. pls go check out that book its a good read. also im a fan of the greatest showman so i really enjoyed it. there are many other books tho that i thoroughly enjoy so much. 

2. What piece that you’ve written are you most proud of?

oh my god ive always wanted to be asked this question hands down i am always proud of my platonic gender neutral tony stark fic called in·con·sol·a·ble window to me i wrote it so sad and i was feeling like depressed lol when i saw peter die in infinity war like i didnt know what to do with my life tbh but im so glad that @impetrichorny requested it tysm i just like how its not based on romance or fluff or happiness it is based on when you lose someone the nightmares and sadness you go through and that there is nothing nobody can do about it except just be there for that person so i really like writing angst and something that was out of the box. ive been thinking tho of doing a part two since the fate of all the characters has changed after endgame. who knows tho. 

3. What is the last song that inspired you? 

well for art it would have to good news by mac miller when i did that kobe bryant memorial on my art page. i dont want to give it away though but ill just say some very powerful womens music inspired my oc writing and making. 

4. How do you feel about letting people read what you write?

at first i was scared cuz i thought i wrote like trash which that feeling kinda doesnt go away like some days i feel that way others i feel confident or it depends on the request it just depends but anyways i was always insecure about my writing so when i started writing it was more like lets see how this goes if not ill delete the whole page. im glad to say it went great but in the begging it was hard cuz i kept putting myself down but i learned to accept or just understand that you keep learning with writing you always learn knew things with writing how you can explain something better or you words get more intricate and people see the improvement and you do too thats why i applaud those who dont speak english that english isnt their first language. you are doing a tremendous job and keep practicing cuz you’re gonna make it to the top. ive also learned that some days are not my days and you can take time off when youre not feeling it when you have writers block. just recollect your juices sip some tea go to the beach relax your mind a little and take as long as you need to come back and give it your all. also comments and reblogs and likes a follows those meant so much to me and encouraged me. thats why i cant express it enough how much all those mean to writers, artist, photographers, anybody who is truly trying their hard in this area of social media. its makes a person happy smile and confident in their writing but first train your mind into loving what you make not what others thing. you have to be happy with the outcome that is what truly matters and what makes your writing the best. look at me getting philosophical. 

5. Do you get distracted easily? If yes with what?

yes and with porn haha i get distracted easily like very easily homeschooling was really tough for me. music distracts me, netflix, the urge to watch david dobrik or unus annus or buzzfeed unsolved on youtube, heck my farts distract me. i gotta be like troy bolton i gotta get my HEAD IN THE GAME!

iced coffee and chicken nuggets—f.w imagine

“this ain’t the last time ill see your face, you said you’ll find someone to take my place.” i sang along to the 1975 lyrics not hearing my best friend behind me screaming my name.

until she turned off my bluetooth speaker.

“hey!” i protested going to turn it back on as she slapped my hand away.

“what the hell.” i said grabbing my hand.

“its Friday night and it’s summer and you’re at home dancing in your room.” my friend replied.

“so....?” i said.

“y/n come to a party with me. come dance with teenagers... socialize.” she said making a imaginary rainbow above her head like the sponge bob meme.

i laughed in her face and threw myself back on my bed going through vinyl records deciding which one to play after she left.

“pleaseee y/n. ill get you iced coffee.” my friend said sitting down on my bed, i lowered the vinyl record

“im listening.” i said, “iced coffee and chicken nuggets?” she said smiling at me and i got up.

“let’s go to this party” i said smiling.

“throw this on.” she said giving me a black crop top and a pair of overalls with my converse.

we were now at the party, the smell of weed and alcohol was strong and so was the bass of the speakers.

i looked to my right and my friend was no longer there, i sighed. looks like my iced coffee and chicken nuggets are out of the question.

i pushed my way through the sweaty teenagers to a coach where a couple wasn’t dry humping on each other.. or did i speak to soon as a couple tumbled over the arm of the chair as they couldn’t take their mouths off of each other.

im at a party i don’t wanna be at, i wonder if i could sneak out of the back

as i looked over the party, i saw my friend heading upstairs holding hands with a mysterious guy who i never saw in my life.

i don’t fit in here i thought, I got up making the couple stumble down on the couch not even looking at me, i rolled my eyes and headed towards the back yard.

whoever’s house this was, it was big.... and impressive. the backyard was surrounded by a big white fence with a pool that had beach balls in it. where i was standing there was supposedly no one but the patio was filled with bunch of fairy lights that were changing colors.

as i sat down, i rolled up the ends of my overalls and took off my doc martens and pink fluffy socks and dipped my feet in the pool enjoying this rather then the loud bass inside.

“not enjoying the party?” i heard a voice say, i turned seeing a lanky, tall white boy who even in the dark his freckles splattered all over his face like he belonged in an art gallery.

“i don’t think i fit in at this party.” i laughed

“who wants to fit in anyway?” the curly haired boy said sitting beside me as i smiled.

“are you not enjoying the party?” i asked him.

“my anxiety is just... off the charts today.” he said, i don’t what possessed me but i put my hand on his. “im sorry to hear that- what’s your name?” i asked cracking a smile.

“it’s finn.” he said as i smiled at finn.

“and you?” he asked. “oh shit. im y/n.” i replied. “who did you come here with?” he asked me.

“she’s probably getting laid. she begged me to come to socialize and meet people.” i said putting air quotes around socialize which made him laugh.

“you?” i asked. “i don’t know. he was here and now he isn’t.” finn replied as i nodded creating a silence between us.

“let’s leave. i don’t like nobody here.” he said as i cocked my head at him, “what?” i said.

“i don’t like nobody here but... you. i don’t care.” he repeated.

“it’s like you’re the only one here but okay, let’s ditch.” i said as finn grabbed a towel to dry my feet off.

“hey finn. you got a car?” i asked as he pulled me up from the ground.

“mhm why?” he asked raising a eyebrow.

“where’s the closest McDonald’s?” i then asked him as we ditched the party.
