Chamber's POV

It was late at night, I was having a drink at a bar trying to forget all stressful things from my private life. I was only interested in drinking drink after drink, I just wanted to get drunk ans forget everything else, but that changed when I spotted a beautiful young woman sitting down besides me at the bar.

I could tell that she was enjoying my company, and I couldn't help but feel a rush as I realized I had a chance with her. We laughed and flirted for hours, she told me that she loved my french accent, and told me that she thinks I'm very handsome and attractive. I was charmed and happy to know that we both felt the same.

,,Can I take you home? Its already late and I don't want to worry about you getting kidnapped Mon chéri" She laughed and said that it was no Problem and that she would love to use the time that we had on her way home to talk more. So she let me take her back home. As we walked up the stairs, our hands casually brushed against each other, and the electric connection between us was undeniable.

When we entered her apartment, the tension was palpable. I took off her coat slowly, her eyes never leaving mine, I was looking deep into her eyes. My face approached her more and more.

,,Can I, Chérie?" She didnt hesitate and came closer to me so that our lips met. The moment our lips met, I could feel my soul ignite with love and desire.

The night went on, and our passion only grew. Every moment together was like a dream, and the hours slipped away in an instant. The tension was building to a breaking point, and the only thing we wanted was to be close together.

Over the next few weeks, we spent every spare moment together. We would meet after our work shifts, go on walks through the park, played games together and more. She even met my Co workers. Jett treated her like her own sister, and the others liked her. Others like Phoenix thought Y/N and me were dating.

As we walked through the door, she looked around the apartment with curiosity and admiration.

"It's beautiful in here," she said, as she took in the artwork on the walls, the cozy furniture, and the warm, inviting atmosphere.

"Thanks," I replied, smiling at her reaction. "You ready for that home-cooked meal?"

"I'm always ready for a good meal," she playfully answered. "But I have a feeling that's not all you have in mind tonight."

She walked over to me and put her arms around my neck. "You're right," she whispered. "I want more tonight.

My heart started beating faster as I looked into her eyes, her gorgeous lips so close to mine.

"I want you," she continued. "I want you more than anything."

Before I could react, she pulled me in for a passionate and deep kiss, her body pressing against mine. I was so caught up in the moment that I lost myself in her touch and her smell.

As we continued kissing, our passion only continued to grow. We moved to the living room and laid down on the couch, our bodies tangled together.

She was so beautiful, her cheeks flushed with desire, her lips so tempting. I kissed her again and again, her body responding more and more. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be here, with her in my arms. After a while, she pulled away from me and looked into my eyes with a playful smile. "What if I told you I have a surprise for you?"

"What surprise?" She asked.

"Close your eyes," I said and grabbed a little box from my bag.

She closed her eyes and took the little box from my hands. "Can I open my eyes now?" She asked calmly, feeling the excitement and curiosity build up.

"Yes, of course," I said with a smile. As she opened her eyes she saw a beautiful jewelry box.

"What's this?" She asked, feeling my heart race even more.

"Open it,"

She opened the box and saw a stunning necklace with a heart-shaped pendant. "Is this for me?" She asked, surprised. I nodded, her eyes filled with love and happiness. "But... this is so expensive," She protested, her face turning red.

"Nothing is too expensive for me when it comes to you Mon amour. It's my way of showing you how much I care," I replied, reaching out for her hand. "I know we've only known each other for a few weeks, but I feel like there's something special between us. And I wanted to surprise you with a gift that shows how special you are to me."

I put the necklace around her neck and I softly kissed her cheek. "Thank you," she said, I looked at her lovingly. "You can thank me later," I said playfully.

Before I knew it, her lips were on mine again, her hands exploring my body. I felt her warmth, her touch, and my desire for her was only growing stronger.

She gently pushed me back onto the couch, pressing her body against mine. My breath was getting deeper, my heart beating faster. I wanted to hold her in my arms, to love her and protect her and give her everything she wanted. As we laid there, our bodies pressed against each other, I felt a rush of euphoria and passion. My mind was spinning as our fingers interlocked, our tongues meeting, our breathing getting heavier.

I looked into her eyes, feeling my soul entangled with hers. She was so beautiful, so perfect. I wanted this moment to last forever, to freeze time and live in this moment for the rest of eternity.

She looked back at me, her eyes shining bright with love. "I love you," she whispered, her voice so sweet and full of emotion. We kissed passionately, our lips pressed together, our hearts beating as one. The world around us seemed to melt away, and there was only her in my mind and my heart.

I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close. She was my everything, and she made me feel alive like never before. In that moment, I wanted nothing else but to be with her, to hold and cherish her forever.

It had only been a few weeks back since everything happened. You saw your friend fight for months injured and in pain, finally convinced him to get the surgery he desperately needed. (After basically getting the whole company to back you up on the matter, but none the less, it happened) Just to watch him struggle through the physical and mental tolls of the recovery period. But what hurt you more than you would ever admit, is that you stood there by his side.... as a friend.

You've been with the company since the beginning, and sure you started out as friends. Kenny, of course, one of the main talents and you as one of Tony's pick to make sure the brand succeeded. Your area was on talent/public relations, so basically making sure no one says anything stupid on to the press. Which some people made a more difficult job to have than needed.

Over the past few years you built your way up into a higher position but still kept your relationships with most of the wrestlers. One in particular being Kenny. To be fair, even before you were hired you loved the industry and Kenny in particular. You had openly admitted to having a crush on him and Devitt in the past. To which Kenny thought was "cute, interesting... but cute" a reaction that always lingered in your mind but you never investigated.

When Kenny was out, you went by his Florida apartment and brought him groceries every week. He always tried to pay you back and tell you didn't have to but you would always brush it off. The two of you hung out a lot more than usual during that time. Watching movies, playing video games, and talking about what's next for the Elite. At this point in your career, Tony had asked you a few times to weigh in on storylines for a 'fans perspective ', a dream job you had mentioned to Kenny once and then came to fruition soon after.

There had been a few moments here and there where you thought you felt tension between the two of you, hoping that maybe, just maybe, he would make a move. A few times you had stayed late and too tired to drive home. Refusing to let you sleep on the couch, you ending up sleeping in his bed, once waking up in his arms, you replayed that morning multiple times over.

However, nothing ever came of it, but after that night you did notice that he started to refer to you as beautiful and lovely. Words that made you smile like a kid overwhelmed with happiness.

Soon, Kenny was back. Set to win the trios titles with Matt and Nick, the two other people just as excited to have him back at work as you.

This Game has been my neurodivergent obsession for a few years now, despite having never actually played it, since its not even out lol.

If you dont know what Hytale is, buckle up because you are stuck with me here and will have to listen to me rant about it >:)

Hytale is a Game being made by Hypixel Studios, an offshoot from Hypixel inc. who run the Hypixel minecraft Server. The Game has been in developement since somewhere around 2016 and has yet to release. Why so long, you might think? Well, its complicated.

Back in the ancient year before memorial (2016), Minecraft was at an all time low in terms of player numbers due to many factors, both a lack of interest in the games updates, minecraft being considered cringe and other games such as fortnite having pulled both players and creators away from the Game.

Dont get the wrong impression though, Minecraft was still being played a lot, but not very much talked about, and especially java editions days seemed numbered by a lot of creators, including the owner of Hypixel, Simon, as well as Noxy, who will be important later.

Simon, as far we know is a cool guy, and has made stonks with the Servers revenue during Minecrafts peak, but these times seemingly would never be coming back.

Minecraft just lacked the aspects nececarry to sustain its community, be it the lack of content updates, creator support through a modding api or freedom in policy through recent eula changes.

Due to these and other factors, the Hypixel Team realized that running their business long term in an enviromen, where so many sweeping large changes outside of their control could end their entire livelihood, they realized that there was basically nothing stopping them from just making their own minecraft, free from the restrainst of their creativity, community and buisness, and thats why Hypixel Studios, the Game company, was born.

As stated by noxy and Simon back in 2016, they had over 25 people working full time, funded by simon in an aruably risky move to build their own legs tto stand on, and by 2018, they were far enough into developement to share their project with the wider Hypixel community, and mabe even the entire Minecraft community...

In late 2018, Hypixel Studios released a Trailer on their Youtube channel for a new Game they had been working on for over 2 years called Hytale:

Hytale was advertised as a Blockgame Sandbox RPG, utalizing simmilar voxel based terrain as minecraft, but other than that completely different: Where Minecraft was an open-ended Sandbox for the player to shape the way they like, Hytale was designed to be an Adventure RPG with a Story/Campain, Lore, more in depth combat, a fully realized fantasy World with Bosses and dungeons and content galore, but also open for other people to create their own experiences inside the game using modding support, live scripting a model maker and so on. Not to mention an upgraded version of their minecraft server, now unchained from minecraft and let loose on a Game under their full control.

Simon and the others new that there was interest for that kind of game, but the response from the wider Gaming community was beyond their wildest Expectation:

Their Prediction laid at around 100, mabe 200 thousand views on their first look trailer, but boi did they underestimate:

The Trailer now sits at 60. Million. Views. 60. MILLION.

Many AAA Studios wuld dream of that kind of success, and now they were sitting there, with the pressure to perform in front of the entire Minecraft community, they were harolded as the bringers of Minecraft 2, the ones who would give them what minecraft was sorely lacking, they were now asked to bear a community of that size on their shoulders, and well, they marched on.

On their Twitter Account, they said they were aiming for the game to be in everyones hands by 2019, but as we all know, that never happened, but why?

They decided to delay the release until 2021 to try and reach the expectations now put on them, expand the team, explore new possibilites and see how they can harness the attention the game had gotten.

Over the course of the next two years, they would release blogposts after blogpost updating exited fans on the developement of the game, sharing details on how the game shaped up, and sometimes announce new hires, along with simon handing of the torch to noxy as head of the company.

At the Start of 2020, theythen announced that Hypixel Studios had been aqquired by a major Studio called Riot Games, that would be funding the further developement as well as oversee and give advice to the rapidly growing Team. For many, me included this sounded dangerous, since as gamers we were well to aware of the many cases where studios like Electronic Arts have acquired smaller studios, only for them to ruin their future games and close the studio after a small failiure.

But as we now know, this did not happen in this case, in fact, riot is built on very simmilar ideals and spirit of entrepreneurship, their flagship title, league of legends, was inspired by Dota, a popular warcraft 3 mod - a journey not too dissimilar from what Hypixel went through with minecraft.

If we now skip until today, Hypixel studios has grown from somewhere around 30 employees to over 130, they have hired talent from the minecraft community, like the developer of sodium, they hired people from the pre-release hytale community, they have hired people they themselves grew up playing games made of, and as stated by their Game director John Hendricks, a former Mojang employee, they have now largely ,,Charted the iceberg" in terms of what is now in their scope to expand hytale into: Hytale is now not only a big game, its a Plattform for People to come together, explore and create, for people to go on the same sort of journey they themselves took initialy with the project.

This has obviously meant that, to utalize the immense amount of talent, reccources and experience, they need time, and this has pushed a possible release farther and farther back.

The Game that was being developed back before 2020 is now left to be an overengineered prototype of their full vision, while they rebuild the games technical side from the ground up to have an engine durabe enough for over a decade to come, and take their time doing it, not under pressure from riot to crunch developement, as other publishers and parent companies have done in the past.

As for me, I have been exited for what they do with the Game since that announcement back in 2018, and I have hopes and dreams of what playing and creating in hytale will be like. I cant wait to explore the world of orbis, play minigames and explore what others may create, or create myself.

The Game Industry is a tough place, where funding, good management, talent, experience, and an exited playerbase cannot guarantee a good game, but mabe, just mabe, lightning will strike exactly where I want it to, and mabe Hytale will be the game I have hope it has the potential to be.

I've been desperate for monster taming games and have tried out a bunch

I find palworld is actually the closest to what I actually wanted

The creatures in ark are less like creatures and more like tools, they don't get any sort of personality or care, and the gameplay itself is designed to be an agonizing slog for the sake of rust like pvp

Every other game leans too much into trying to be pokemon and are just turn based rpgs which are not fun at all for me

I like being able to pet and pamper my animals and I like traveling with them and how they help you; i love how the game isn't excessively grindy, so many aspects of the gameplay resolve tons of irritating issues I've had with the games they're inspired from! I love most of the designs, i am a fan of pokemon redesigns, fakemon, and fusions, and as an artist some are just better designs than the original pokemon they're ripping from. People don't even know that their art team is the largest part of their staff.

The game is ugly, buggy, derivative; i don't trust the company but neither do i trust any game company. It really does combine elements of games I have played in a smooth way that works out better than the original game

This is a long ask so imma number my points. The tone of this isnt argumentative im just responding as i read your ask c:

1) Like i said i dont care if people play it. I hope people get their 30 bucks worth of fun

2) Technically Pokemon itself was just a more streamlined version of Megami Tensei. so something being turn based is neither bad nor indicative of being a pokemon rip off altho thats likely what a lot of people know. Like Cassette Beasts like yeah im sure theres some pokemon flavor to it but i dont think its nearly as derivative as palworld imo. Again no beef just, like their whole thing is it being pokemon with guns.

3) One of the accusations was that they stole fakemon fanart from small artists which if true is not cool but some of the pals have been neat. I havent really delved too deep into every bit about the controversies

4) Im sure theres passionate folks working on it just like im sure devs at gamefreak give it their all

5) im a lifelong pokemon fan but i sold my copy of violet because like the characters are fun and all but i found it not enjoyable to play. I feel the environments should be more stylized. Also it kept crashing for me idk if theyve fixed that but the pokemon company has way too harsh time mandates for gamefreak like give them a year or two more for development.

6) the company is sketchy but i mean so is the pokemon company so...

EZAREL - The "IdontknowwhyImtalkingtohim" guy

First, let's start with this annoying elf !

Jules, when they first meet, was thinking he is just an assh*le, always complaining and never helping... But, he eventually adapted and even appreciated the repartee of the "human girl". So now, they are two children always fighting (kindly) with each other !

When Jules is not well (mentally or physically or both) he will be worried, not full worried, but a little, because his little nightmare is not "making trouble" around him. He won't admit it, but he likes her, as a friend, he likes make fun of her, so if she's not here anymore, he can't torture his favorite victim... What a Shame !

Jules likes him a lot, his sense of humor is having his effect, and, like Ezarel likes to torture Jules, Jules likes to torture Ezarel. An eye for an eye, a leg for a leg !

When Ezarel is paired with Nevra, there is no match, they're pure nightmare, even hell together, more than Ezarel alone... Fortunately, Valkyon is here to make balance... Without him, Jules will be in a pure hall of shame.

VALKYON - The Serenity place

Let's continue with Valkyon !

When she first meet him, she think that he was really introverted... And, she was right, he don't speak really often, and don't go see other people... Jules was also a really introverted person, she stays with her bestfriend, the others don't matters... But when she was teleported on Eldarya, she knew she must be more... Extrovert to be integrated. So thats what she do, try to talk with the native of this world... Especially some of the guard like Ezarel, Karenn, Chrome and so Valkyon.

Now, her relation with Valkyon is great ! He likes speaking with her and she likes speaking with him. When she need to have serenity and calm, she's going to see him. They don't have to talk, just being around and keeping company is enough, Jules with a book and Valkyon sharpening his weapon.

When Jules is not well (mentally or physically, maybe both), he will be worried and concern... Every morning, the young woman wishes him "a good day" after his morning work. And when she don't, he will ask to Miiko, Nevra and Ezarel if she okay ! Like i said, he appreciate her company, so if she's not well, then he will try to help as he can.

For him, see this young lady struggle with his two best friends is half amusing and half annoying, because he knows too well this two and their puns that can be infinite... He will help this poor soul, even if he's called "papi" or "grand-pa" after that, he can handle.

NEVRA - The crush she can't believe her eyes to love...

Next, we have Nevra !

When they first meet, Jules had a bad image of him... A real womanizer that she can't believe her own eyes... Like "How someone can flirt with that kind of puns... Unbelievable !" But... She kinda like it after some days... She understand that the vampire try to play some seductive games, so she accepts that fact and enjoy playing this game with him. Like "Hey darling, do you believe that... One day, you'll have a big crush on me ?" and she was like "Yeah, sure... Maybe in your biggest dream !" all with a flirty attitude ! Yeah, that kind of interactions and the worst part is that he's right !

Something else that Jules appreciates a lot about Nevra is his seriousness in certain circumstances. He can be very serious when it comes to work, or the person to which he values (Karenn, Chrome, even Jules !). He likes to jokes and flirt around but if you touch one hair of his babies, you will cry very loud !

When Jules is not well (Mentally, physically or both) he will start the "Protective Mommy Nevra" fonction. He likes her, very very much ! She is in the same basket as Karenn and Chrome, but, maybe more in the lover way. He will do all he can to makes her go well again ! Because, he won't admit it, but she is his little princess, his favorite woman, the woman that makes him go insane and affectionate. Simply the woman with who he wants to start a long relation, something that make him the lover of this splendid lady !

Nevra is one of the all guard that she appreciates the most (maybe not really objective due to her crush on him). She likes that he begins little by little to detach himself from other women to flirt only with her and only her. (Even though he believes Jules never noticed) She likes him for who he is (romantic, affectionate and maybe clumsy sometimes), not who he pretends to be (Flirty, Nacissist and more confident that he really is)

LEIFTAN - The "You are kind but... Nah I don't know" guy

And Leiftan for the end !

Jules is a bit mixed about Leiftan, she thinks that she appreciate him, but... At the same time... She don't know. Something bother this lady but she don't know what ! But, he helps her in her firsts days so... Any help is good to take !

She doesn't spend much time with him due to his work so... She don't really know him... In some ways, Leiftan scares her a little, she think that his kindness can be a little bit intimidating...

If she is unwell, he will be worried, but can't really do whatever he wants so... He trust the others to take good care of her. Even if he really want to approch her and befriends with her.

That anon asking about not getting paid for writing, honestly makes me concerned about their ideals behind work.

I'm an artist who works for a company, so I get paid hourly. I love my job, but I would never do it for free. Some people would call me a sell out, because I create designs for mass production, but there is nothing wrong with making money.

Just because you enjoy something, doesn't mean you shouldn't recognize the value of your time and energy. It just means you have found a good job, one you love. It should be what we all are searching for in one way or another.

Of course, having a job you love is a luxury not everyone can afford, but why try to put others down who have found it?

I wanted to say that I do agree 100% with your reply to the other anon about casual friendships, though for this kind of conversation to actually make some kind of impact on drolos brains the whole context should be discussed. The reason its not strictly double standards to be “mad” at karl and not at dream’s other casual friends is karl’s relationship with snf (and honestly the history of dtqk in general). Karl and Dream were never painted as casual friends, so for (granted, insane) people it’s harder to accept that that’s what they are.

And I think people have this idea that because the dream team are obsessed with each other literal ride or die friends, practically family, then outsider friends should have the same/similar relationships with all of them - as in, because Karl is best friends with snf then he should also be best friends with dream. And dream’s other casual friends don’t have this relationship with snf that Karl does, so its different. To people it feels like Karl excludes dream when their relationship is just different and thats ok.

Sorry in advance for coming off like kind of an asshole, I'm just trying to get my point across but I feel like I came off super harsh, which wasn't my intention at all.

I understand the first point all too well, Anon, I ALSO had a pretty hard time accepting that DTK was a lot more casual then I initially thought. But at the end of the day I want them to have the kind of relationship that they want to have and I ultimately just want them to be safe and happy with one another.

As for the double standard thing, I do see where you're coming from on that. It's a lot more justified to be upset with Karl over this because of his relationship to SNF, as opposed to someone like Foolish, who isn't nearly as close with the two (he is with Bad but I suppose that's a bit different). At the end of the day though I do think the broad strokes of what I was trying to say still applies. If you are going to use "they're not talking PUBLICLY" (keyword, publicly) as a justification for them not being friends, then ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY accusing JUST Karl and not Dream's other causal non-public contacts, you are perpetuating a double standard.

I honestly don't even think its purposeful exclusion on Karl or Dream's fault half the time. In some cases, yeah, Karl backs off on purpose to minimize fallout and harassment, but in a lot of cases it just seems like two extremely busy people can't find time to hang out with each other.

Karl has approximately 128,749,324 jobs, constantly travels for MrBeast, works on his own videos, owns an esports organization, works with a bunch of Roblox YouTubers, and for fuck's sake he bought a livestreaming backpack so he could do IRL streams since he couldn't produce "normal" content. Dream owns his own merch company, is the CEO of public relations at Minecraft, the best selling video game in history, is producing music and maybe even a short film, all while planning to launch a sixty person Minecraft server.

And if Karl is closer to SNF then he is to Dream? I literally do not care. I'm not in this relationship, I have no bearing on what they do or don't do with one another. Sometimes you're really close to two people in a friend group and not the third, and that's, once again, normal.

The Narrator in this case acts sort of like stanley's self conscious motivating him or criticizing him. Stanley believes the narrator is some weird version of him that he inspires to become: a succesful posh man with a sense of authority

but in reality the narrator is a one of the same as him. Hes a struggling and depressed book author whos gone to the deep end and sometimes takes his frustrations out on stanley because hes jealous of the fact stanley is the type of guy the narrator wants to be a simple man living a good social life

they both see each other as higher than the other but really theyre both on the same level

He has poor social connections and only keeps professional relationships with his colleagues and does nothing to further his relationships he always strives to do better be better but ends up giving up halfway.

The narrator is envious of stanley because hes actually willing to keep going no mattwr what anyone says and he just likes to live

Stanley is envious of the narrator because the narrator earned so much for what he's worked for and hes jealous that he's still working and being exploited by his company

The two must figure out the shit they need to sort out in their lives by reflecting by looking at the positives & negatives that they see in each other until neither of them feel pressured or stressed from the slow changes they make and thats when the visions of the parable start to fade away or go away completely
