I tried to make this one a bit like a duet, if you pay attention you can see that the words are closer to one of the boys vs the other, rather than spread across the pictures like I usually do.

Gaius, Hunith, and Leon will be in the next part, I promise. I've got it all sorted out.

the first one is arthur and merlin in ealdor. I was gonna do the "there is no more rope!" scene for the literal climbing out the window, but I figured the more metaphorical rebellion against uther was better.

I chose the labyrinth of gedref for that catalog line because I wanted to include it, and also I found it fit because they were trying to bring back the food/harvest - like dawn to a field

also that kingdom line was too perfect to not use for Ygraine's sigil! I'm so happy I got to fit it in!

Are you even aware how much power you hold over the strongest sorcerer on Earth? To consume the entirety of what exists and what doesn't exist, and yet still find himself back to your arms because it's the only place in the world he feels safe― No. No. Not safe. Safe is calm. Safe is a lullaby that makes you sleepy. Safe is a warm embrace after a long day. Safe is warm water soothing sore muscles. Safe is eating your favorite food in bed. Satoru doesn't feel any of that with you, no. He feels euphoric. The man's own mind cannot comprehend how a being so inconspicuous makes him feel like this. So alive, so good, so high. He would kill for you. He would appear drenched in the blood of whoever made the mistake to rise against you and wait for approval at your feet. Doesn't even matter if your heart is taken, or if you don't want him, or if the world has a wicked plan of its own to keep you away for any reason. It doesn't matter, because what he does, ALL he does, is to make you happy. Satoru would never force you to love him, though. No, never. You deserve better than that, and he's content simply by being allowed you in your entirety. Whether it be cupping his bloody cheeks, praising him in that sweet voice of yours, or even going as far as to place a loving, grateful kiss on his forehead... That's what he lives for. That's what gets his heart running and his blood pumping and his spirit unbroken. Everything he does, everything he owns, his very own birth and creation and every corpse that has lined his way to you, meant something. It was to bring him to your arms. He's your beast on a leash and honestly, Satoru Gojo couldn't be any happier.

I love Higuruma. Not just because he’s so willing to help Yuuji and the others (and because he’s hot), but he’s a character with particular traits that I’ve appreciated throughout JJK. The constant adapting and learning that can be seen with Mahito, strengthening his own capabilities that aren’t inherently offensive or overwhelmingly powerful like Tengen with barriers or Nobara being Mahito’s natural enemy, etc. It’s not like there aren’t interesting aspects to characters that are overwhelmingly powerful like Sukuna or Gojo, but it’s gratifying to see characters who aren’t still find ways to make just as much of an impact and work with others to do so. It’s no wonder Sukuna admires him, while giving far less thought to characters that could arguably be considered more powerful or destructive.

There’s something to be said about the fact that since the first chapter we met him Yuuji has been preparing to die. It has been this huge terrifying thing looming over his head, every new friend a person he will have to leave behind. And he takes it on as bravely as he can. We watched him grapple with the fact that his death will be just another cog in the machine and he had to except that and he said you know what then I’m gonna be the smoothest running cog you ever did see.. itadori Yuuji doesn’t want too but he was ready to die, he DID die twice!. And then Sukuna leaves and the higher ups are dead. He is suddenly thrust into a world where he’s not next in line at the execution block. Suddenly Yuuji has a future and that’s not something he prepared for, especially not the one he’s left with. a dead mentor with no body to mourn, one best friend dead, the other halfway there and a Sensei he believes with every fiber of his being is the strongest just lost to his number 1 tormentor. The dude his death was supposed to protect the world from. This is Yuuji’s worst nightmare come to life because all this time he has been preparing to leave his friends behind for them to mourn himnot once did it cross his mind that he’d be the one left behind, that he’d be the one to mourn them. Itadori Yuuji was prepared to die and and it was okay because he was doing something good, something that could protect the world and now, in his mind, he failed cause sukuna is loose again and gojo is dead, nobara is dead, nanami is dead, megumi is possessed and halfway there and he wasn’t prepared to grieve. He’s been thrown into a world where his life doesn’t have an expiration date and all his friends are dead and there’s nothing left but a promise he can no longer keep to his grandfather.

And It drives me literally insane.

That one world quest with cassadee where we try to help her realize that her idolization of merlin maybe not for who he is as a person, but rather what merlin represent.. Which is magic itself....

Anyways, take that concept and put it to when young mirael when she was still merlin student. In a sense, her adoration for merlin appear the same to cassadee idolization for merlin, and once merlin had said to young mirael; "are you sure you're adoring me for who I am or are you adoring merlin?" and for the longest time mirael was so sure what she likes about her mentor IS for who that person really is, not the title he carries, not what he represent as a whole. Merlin was mirael dearest and she so sure of that, so sure she looked for her mentor for 20 years...

Then she meet her dearest again, except... He's different. no longer the same person she remembers (and he doesn't remembers her)

So once again came in the question... Is it merlin she adore, or her dearest "mentor"?
