For my “New Years resolution”, I’ve decided to make different goals every month with the hope of building habits gradually, instead of trying to do too much at once!! So for January, I’m going to run 2x every week and find a good study schedule since I’m taking online courses now! Plus I’m going to get a job :-)

woo! im also going to try and run twice a week once i get back to campus and use a proper gym! shout out to the both of us for getting down to exercising

It’s been a few weeks and I haven’t done one of these yet so it’s probably about time! 

About me

My name is Romy, I’m a 21 year old student from the Netherlands. This means English is not my native language. Even though I feel like I’m doing well, I would like to become much better at it so feel free to send me a (kind) message if I mess up the English language. I made this studyblr to give me extra motivation and feel less guilty while procrastinating every once in a while!

after i finish homework (rn there isnt much so i finish at like 8:00), i take a shower, brush teeth and put on night contacts etc, and then i huddle up on my bed with my laptop and do random stuff for like 3 hours until 11:00 o o p s. also i eat dinner at like 5:00 so i just have to ignore my hunger ;-;

Grey, for sure. Almost my whole wardrobe is grey.

42: do you have a favorite coffee shop? describe it!

It’s actually a bookshop, but they have a lil coffee (and champagne) bar with really good lattes too. It’s two stories and the shelves are sort of set up like a maze so you have to go through all of them to get anywhere, and there are lots of big comfy chairs and couches and there are old paintings and animal heads and stuff on the walls so it just feels very cozy and magical and ugh I just love that place

Hi everyone!! I’ve decided to convert my blog into a studyblr to ring in the new academic year!

About Me

I’m Cana (or lupin bc I’m trash), she/her pronouns, and I’m 20 years old!

ENFP, Libra, pretty queer, Ravenclaw, all that kind of stuff

I have ADHD, primarily inattentive type, and that has caused my experience with education to be a WILD RIDE.

I’ll be studying literature in the fall with a minor in music. I studied music for my first two years of uni, but I’ve changed it!

Interests

Music! Talk to me about choral music and I’ll marry you, probably. I sing classically and I’m somewhat proficient on the piano. I also love Hozier and his type of jams.

Writing and reading poetry! My time studying music only deepened my appreciation for it.

Scripture and Theology! I’ve recently been exploring the idea of going down the theology route. Thinking critically with reason about scripture, as well as looking at it from a literary point of view, is just my favorite thing.

Also into ancient studies

languages (Hebrew and French are particularly fascinating to me, but I’ve primarily studied German!), film, art (I went to art camp for like 2 summers and it was traumatic but I’m trying to find my love for it again)

I live for the aesthetic, babes

Remus Lupin is my fave bye (also I love harry potter but I don’t support That terf Bitch JK Rowling and I want to make that clear)

Goals

as my uni has gone online this upcoming semester, my main goal is to survive. I think it will be beneficial in the long run for me as a student to learn the skills I need to be successful with online classes, but as a student with ADD and anxiety, especially in a global pandemic, it’s terrifying!

find ways to intertwine my literature studies and scriptural studies (currently studying the Tanakh)

manage my time and productivity better while also allowing myself to breathe and cope with what I’m going through

Why studyblr?

I wanted to find a way to put myself out into the world a bit more with my studies and keep myself accountable. Also to find an encouraging community! I thought it might be a good way to share this journey with people.
