🌟🎄🦌As much as we all love summer, you cannot deny the MAGIC that only winter can bring. The enchanting midnight hour when the snow looks violet and the stars appear to be almost at our earthly grasp. The tracks left by rabbits and the smell of wood chimneys, ah, it's magic! I remember playing outside in the snow for hours and hours and my mom would have a hard time convincing me to come inside, even when it was pitch black outside. There were 2 words that always did the trick. Hot. Cocoa. My mom makes the best hot cocoa because she always uses twice the amount of cocoa and twice the amount of sugar. I remember the year we thought to add mini chocolate bars and chocolate kisses to our mugs. Ah, yes, it's magic! This candle is dedicated to the Magic of Christmas. I took special care in collecting the vintage ornaments that adorn the top of this candle, they are handmade from Germany. I wanted to create a magical winter wonderland scene and I am very happy with the way it turned out, and it smells DIVINE! When you bring this candle into your home, know that you are also bringing my love and prayers for a blessed winter for you and your loved ones. 🍂We are moving towards that time of year when the veil between the living and the dead, the known and the cosmic mystery becomes thin. I absolutely love this time of year and the extra spiritual activity, but sometimes it's nice to be a bit proactive when it comes to protecting yourself, your home and those within it from energetic/spiritual chaos. I've spent 14 months creating these candles. I wanted to make sure all of the plant allies used within them have basked in the light and the dark of 13 Full Moons and 13 New Moons. I planted most of them by seed, watered them and watched them grow, some of them died, but most of them flourished. I spoke to them, whispered incantations. But mostly I listened. I listened to each of their unique songs, warnings and secrets. I was stung and pierced by many of their thorns. Broke out in many rashes by touching them wrong or touching them at all. Some of them didn't even want to be involved while some were very eager. I'm so happy with how they turned out. Even more beautiful than I imagined. And their energy is exactly what I was hoping for from the very beginning. Some of the herbal and plant allies include, Agrimony, Galangel, Mugwort, Wormwood, Malabar, Bay Leaf, Peppercorn, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, Black Salt, Apple Seeds and Ash. Blended in organic beeswax and black activated charcoal. Dressed with Bay Leaf, Peppercorns, Black Salt, Mugwort and Wormwood. And finally, stuck with a needle. The needle represents banishing, protection, healing, control. The needle also represents a "pen" in the craft. 🍂🌻What? It’s only 119 days until autumn. I know most of you aren’t in a rush, but I’m counting down the days until everything turns into a pumpkin. This is one of my favorite candles that I’ve made recently. Can you see the witch in the pumpkin patch? She’s a sneaky one. And if there was ever a time that I wish you could smell through your phone, now would be that time. I can’t keep my nose out of this candle! 🕯🔮Hello friends! I’m so sorry to announce that I’m pushing back the release date of the Fortune Teller candle to next Friday. 🍂🐿Acorn update! Wow! You love them as much as I do! They sold out almost instantly and my inbox was flooded with “when will you get more?” so I got more! They are hand carved which takes a while, as you can imagine, so it might be several weeks before they arrive. So I made a listing in the shop that allows you to purchase them NOW even though you won’t receive them for a few weeks. The PLUS side of this is you will already have hours purchased when they arrive so you don’t need to worry about them selling out again. Now this is where I want to be very clear. 🌊🌕A friend invited me to go to the ocean with her today and I’m so glad I did because we had an absolutely magickal day! It was simply perfect, grade A medicine. She even found the most beautiful rainbow colored stone in the sand, something I’ve never seen before. Today I was face to face with all the things I want to change in order to make my life better, and I’m going to make those changes. I’m just really grateful for this life, and all the little tidbits that make it so amazing. 🧚🏼‍♀️🌻I really hope you had a wonderful Solstice! This one felt extra important to me. Maybe it’s because the world is beginning to open up again and there were a few (more than a few) moments of panic where I wondered if we would ever go back to “normal” again. I went to the ocean on the day of Solstice and it made my heart GLOW to see children running around laughing and splashing around in the waves. This past year has given me such a renewed love for life and it made this particular Solstice one that I will never forget.
