Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 5 (scattered) thoughts and first impressions (ramblings)

This one is also very long because mannnnnnn did I love this episode and omg do I have big feelings about it

Also yes I do love each member of tbb but in case it’s not obvious I’m a crosshair girlie. Have been since I first heard his voice in season 7 of tcw so this is gonna be very crosshair centric (because he finally has screen time and more than like 2 speaking lines this season!!)

At first I was so annoyed they kept crosshair in this ugly ass outfit but I honestly think it’s because even though it’s warm on Pabu he’s always cold because he’s so skinny now (well he always was lean but this is a testament to how much weight he lost as a prisoner) They keep trying to feed him fruit and my man keeps using it as target practice 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I honestly love when they show scenes through like either a scope or helmet visor. Like I really love seeing what they’re seeing. In this case AZI (so happy they took him from Cids bar- sorry “parlor”….it was a dive bar)

He’s so mad at his hand 😭 my poor baby he really should let AZI look at it. What do we think it is? Nerve damage? I imagine it feels tingly like when your foot falls asleep.

I love that Batcher loves him!! Animals know good people. He’s a good man Savannah! 😭😭😭 and he likes Batcher too and anyone that’s kind to animals is ok by me.

Yes guys let’s see what I can do with only the writing, maybe maaaybe it’s gonna be seen?

I dunno …it’s just that I don’t want to leave you without content…

Anyway that’s a little flash forward to “revenge of the spider queen “ scenario , I believe that considering my situation not many people will see this and so it’s not going to be that big of a spoiler 😂

It didn’t have to be so long but I let myself go

MK never thought to find himself in this situation…. He was tightly holding his wrist, it was bleeding, nothing bad, wukong wounded him in an attempt to get the kid away from him; not that he could go anywhere… they were stuck together underground.

The spider queen set a really nice trap…

They would have been squished by the rocks that she made fall on them, if MK didn’t stop them, thanks to the staff and the sigil magic he learned to control not that long ago with to the help of the two clones that macaque left with him, for protection and to control his powers.

Now they were together… not fighting tho.

Wukong was in a panic, in all this years MK never thought to see wukong, who always appeared to him as great and glorious, looks so vulnerable and scared. although MK wasn’t surprised, he now knew the story of the ex-monkey king and the fact that the feeling of being crashed and restrained again made wukong panic had a lot of sence.

But Approaching him again was out of the question.

So he sat next to the staff, still holding his wrist; four eyes poked out of the shadow, ready to protect the kid if needed… but MK wasn’t the one that needed protection right now.

His father would sure arrive soon…probably…did he know where he was? Maybe if he screamed…his father would sure hear him, but maybe he would scare or rage wukong? He could tell rumble and savage, but then he would be without protection… was his father trying to reach for him but his sigil didn’t let him throw? Would his father even save wukong?…he was tasked to kill him…

The prince sighed, he needed to say something at to try to calm wukong down.

“He will come for us…” MK lied

Wukong slowly turned to MK, head in his hands, dead stare in those red eyes with golden pupils, glamour obviously down…. phantom pain probably back.

“He won’t…” wukong answered with venom in his voice “he has no reason to-“

“Isn’t the fact that he loves us a good reason?” MK asked, he had to choose well his words, he didn’t want to get sun wukong angry

“Love” started wukong growling “doesn’t move mountains”

“You shouldn’t underestimate love-“ “LOVE IS AN IDIOTIC FEELING AND CAUSES NOTHING BUT PAIN!!” Wukong shouted suddenly making MK flinch , shadows moving behind him, but in his rage wukong didn’t seem to notice….

“I loved my people but they decided to follow a fake king over ME; I loved my brother, they were my family, but they kept me getting in trouble, getting me hurt” as he kept going wukong was getting horrifying close, fear raising in the boy heart.

At least he wasn’t thinking about the rocks that would soon crash them- was the only thing that MK could think to light up the mood

“I loved my master” the thought of Tripitaka immediately made the phantom pain start again “he freed me, he was like a father to me…BUT LOOK WHAT HE DID TO ME!!” Shouted wukong as he was pointing at the golden fillet on his head “HE KEPT LYING AND HURTING EVEN WHEN I WAS DOING NOTHING WRONG BUT I ALWAYS PROTECTED HIM” tears falling from the ex-king eyes.

“I LOVED LIU ER MIHOU! And he betrayed me! Allied with heaven to put me down, they got me in chains… HE TOOK MY STAFF, MY CROWN, MY PEOPLE, MY MOUNTAIN! He should have been my loyal warrior and stay dead!”

“I wanted my life back… then” wukong growled again dangerously close “you came and stole what love liu er had left for me” if he had come even a little closer rumble and savage would have surely attacked, instead the great sage started to step back, head in his hands again as he reached the rocky wall “I thought you were just a puppy for him, a tool to heal his sorrow with… but he- he would have died for you…as he would have done for me long ago…” the ex- king let himself fall hugging himself for confort.

It was a lot to take in for the boy, he found himself moving closer to wukong, the other was not moving, than the stopped not too close but not too far away and said quietly, just as how they would talk when Xiaotian was a child “you were always the hero of his stories…” wukong looked at the boy “ he talked about you with love and admiration… he stayed up for so many night just to go visit you, he always brought you the best things, the best fruits.” The boy found himself smiling “ I always thought it was odd how he kept looking at his left, expecting you to be there, as he was at your right… I don’t think he never stopped loving you,neither now.” Mk and wukong looked at each other, silence between them.

Silence that was broken by the great sage with a chuckle “ he never shut up about you…” , MK just smiled “I think we both have a place in the six eared macaque’s heart…”

plss gimme the fucked up ocelot/liquid dynamics

i dont know if this is gonna make any sense because i just wrote it in a haze but

i definitely think ocelot is weird about all of the bibo clones. he has way too much fun torturing snavid, and he works closely with solidus during mgs1-2. those two look the most like bibo, so ofc he has a strange attraction to them.

for liquid i think its a little more complicated because a) he met liquid as a child. but he didn't watch him grow up, and i dont think he felt any kind of familial bond with him. he was an annoying little shithead for a few months and then he fucked off into the wilderness to live with a bunch of other feral children.

and b) due to the whole liquid-miller situation. i have a lot of thoughts on ocelhira and how it mightve played out, and half of them contradict the rest, but i do think ocelot genuinely liked kaz and liked working with him. whether or not that was reciprocated is where my contradictory thoughts lie. they likely worked together post-1984 in foxhound, but it's unclear for how long.

so fast forward to 2005 where hes working with liquid, who has grown up into a handsome man who, aside from the hair, is the spitting image of big boss. hes more vindictive and hateful, but still eerily similar. his motivation to create a safe place for the genome soldiers mirrors big boss's goal of a nation of soldiers. and hes willing to blow up the rest of the world to do it. hes got a similar inspirational charisma that lands him leadership of foxhound, commanding the rest of the mgs1 bosses and the entire genome army.

so not only does ocelot draw parallels between him and big boss, which has tangled romance feelings involved, but also when liquid decides to kill miller and impersonate him, ocelot gives him a lot of information in order to be convincing (im assuming). tapes and videos and records to get to know miller better, and ocelot watches him literally transform into a copy of younger miller, very similar in age to when ocelot first met miller. (assuming they met at some point after 1975, kaz wouldve been early 30s, and liquid is also early 30s in 2005).

liquid's impression is of foxhound miller, but its probably still uncanny and takes ocelot off guard. so now hes contending with his past relationship with big boss AND miller, with whatever insane feelings he must have about the two of them focused into one guy.

the entire time this is happening, ocelot is working to undermine the entire plan and conspiring with solidus. so he doesnt fully respect liquid nor does he take him seriously. their interactions with each other feel like ocelot is just going along with whatever liquid says, because liquid thinks hes in charge. ocelot is willing to be insulted and humiliated by liquid to advance the overarching plan. (solidus' to overthrow the patriots using the data stolden from REX, ocelot's to later betray solidus and maintain the patriots. all that fuckery.)

but i think ocelot is having the time of his life during this. it feels like working with big boss. it feels like working with miller. every time liquid puts on the sunglasses or gives an order as the boss of foxhound, its like standing in the room with one of two ghosts that feels entirely real. thats gotta be confusing as fuck. but also hot.

so i think ocelot has a lot of conflicting feelings on liquid but ultimately is attracted to him, not for who liquid is, but for who he reminds ocelot of. its something ocelot can have a little fun with while still achieving his overall goal of supporting the patriots. (until its his turn to overthrow them. jesus christ ocelot why is your plan so convoluted.)

meanwhile liquid i think believes ocelot IS the foolish old man he portrays himself as during mgs1. he didnt respect ocelot when they met in the 80s, and he still doesnt take him seriously in 2005. i dont think liquid is interested in ocelot at all. if anything, it would simply be for the power trip of controlling his father's former right-hand man. possibly feelings of anger/hate from ocelot's close association with big boss. he probably realizes ocelot has some kind of feelings toward him, maybe not realizing the extent of it, but uses this to his advantage. perhaps he even believes this is why ocelot is willing to endure the insults and humiliation.

overall i think their dynamic would be strange, nostalgic pining against a somewhat bitter distrust and disrespect + a mutual feeling of superiority/incompetence.

they both think theyre taking advantage of the other. ocelot wants what he can no longer have, because both miller and big boss are dead. liquid is a stand in for them. liquid thinks hes in charge and in control of shadow moses, and he doesnt take ocelot seriously enough to consider something else is going on behind the scenes. he focuses his anger at big boss towards anyone who was associated with him- snavid, miller, ocelot. they both use each other as proxies to channel strong emotion.

Hey. Does Hunter actually know for sure he's Caleb's Grimwalker. I just scrubbed through hollow mind, because it occurred to me that when I first watched it, I didn't pick up anything from the background photos about the Caleb and Philip backstory, too much was happening to pay attention to them. It was only afterward when a friend sent me screencaps of all of them and a breakdown that I was like ohhhh shit. So like. No way hunter and Luz picked that stuff up. They were way busier with the memories they DID see. So like Luz found out Belos was Philip there. Belos says hunter looks the most like him. In the memory with the collector Belos says "he always betrays me" in regards to the Grimwalkers. But do they.... KNOW what a Grimwalker is? Like. What I mean is. Do they actually realize that he is a clone and not just like some general homonculus. Like that he is created based on a specific person. We see later hunter reading about Grimwalkers at hexside but it's unclear how much info is in those books. It's called "the legend of the Grimwalker" so how accurate is it? Then Belos does call hunter Caleb during kings tide but. Well. He kind of roared it. And usually I would default to authorial intent, but it was so unclear what he said that instead of reading "Caleb" the subtitles read "kill him." And then finally they see the story during the Halloween hayride. So they have the basic story. And they have that statue. And whoever it said in the book the brothers wittebane that hunter is reading. IMHO, neither the statue nor the Halloween drawings they see really look enough like hunter to be strictly confirmation. From everything up to here it looks like maybe... All he actually has is suspicion??? Which would explain why he says in thanks to them "that I might be a clone of a witch hunter" which, I always found the 'might' in that sentence strange. Now flapjack obviously knew Caleb whether he was Evelyn or Caleb's palisman, but 1. He is a bird and not all THAT smart 2. He is a secretive little goblin apparently 3. Would HE have even KNOWN about the Grimwalker thing????

A few points on the other side, obviously hunter had the mirror scene but again, does he KNOW he's Caleb's clone or does he just think he might be and is scared of that potential? Then, Luz says "you did it to him first" after Belos says "Caleb, you would stab me in the back?" Which is probably solid confirmation, but also, hunter was dead at the time so he definitely didn't hear that, and Luz and him obviously did not talk about it until at least after Belos died. A lot was going on. How long would it be until Luz was like oh shit I need to tell Hunter about that. Now Luz says "you did it to him first" which obviously is very pointed, but also- damn hang on all this time I thought he stabbed him in the heart, but I guess we don't actually know where he stabbed him specifically. And to me at the time, and this is purely interpretation, it sounded less like Luz saying "you literally stabbed Caleb, his ortet, in the back first" and more "you betrayed hunter first" and the point is that it means something more to Belos than it does to Luz, that she has said something that unintentionally had a greater affect than she realized it would. Lastly is gus's mindcrush, but again, we have no idea how much he ACTUALLY knows from that, but we know he knows what a Grimwalker is, he know he knows hunter is one, and I think we can safely say that he knows a Grimwalker is a clone and hunter is cloned from caleb because he grabs the memory photo of the wittebane brothers statues when he says he's known hunter was a Grimwalker for three months. Again, hunter not in the room at present, obviously they are gonna talk about this eventually but certainly not until after Belos is killed.

Belos does say "goodbye Evelyn" when he crushes flapjack, but we as viewers can't even agree on if that means flapjack was Caleb's palisman or Evelyn's, so honestly I don't know if it would even process what the hell he was talking about when he did that. We also don't have any indication one way or another if Belos and hunter had any kind of Brain Communication during the possession. Obviously hunter had some awareness because he broke when flapjack was killed. But the extent of what he remembers from being possessed and if like he could hear any of Belos's thoughts at the time is unclear.

Post Belos death I think it's safe to say hunter learns for sure hes Caleb's Grimwalker via Gus at minimum. But until then... DOES he know?

Questions:

1. At what point does hunter realize/become aware that a Grimwalker is a clone?

2. At what point does hunter realize/become CERTAIN that he is cloned specifically from Caleb wittebane?

3. Do any of the cast ever ACTUALLY find out that Philip killed Caleb?

4. Do any of them realize, if they presume Philip did kill Caleb, that Evelyn was not also killed?

5. When Luz said you did it to him first did she actually know what she was saying?

6. Does FLAPJACK ever actually realize Hunter is a clone of Caleb? Hunter looks like him sure, but not identically, and he's so much younger. And like. Why would it even occur to you this random kid is a clone of someone you knew 400 years ago. He was not present in Belos's mindscape. Is the reason that flapjack doesn't tell Hunter shit about Caleb and Evelyn and all that because he legitimately does not know this part. I don't think flapjack could have realized this until after hollow mind at least- Luz obviously told hunter about Philip and what she knew about him, and certainly flapjack must have been able to put together Philip = Philip at that point, and probably HE knew Evelyn survived. Does he think that Hunter is a clone of Caleb? At any point does he think hunter is a descendant of Evelyn's child? Does he ever actually TELL hunter anything about the wittebane brothers story, and if not, is he hiding that information intentionally? Or has he simply not put all the pieces together, possibly because he is a bird?

I didn't see you give any predictions after pabu. What do you think is going to happen.

I have a few. I was flying so high on the beauty and character development of this episode that I was reluctant to share my theories. None of them are good and I hope none of them happen.

One...The Empire finds its way to Pabu while the Batch and Phee are off on a mission, but Omega has stayed behind to have some normal kid time with Lyana. The Empire is surprised to find the girl Dr. Hemlock is looking for and take her without much resistance from the peaceful townsfolk still reeling from their recent disaster. Omega insists that the Batch left her there to have a normal life and Shep backs up her lie by saying that he has adopted her. There isn't anything else he can do. The Batch return to find her gone and go to Cid, who doesn't want to help when they come crawling back. Cid is reminded of how much she owes her life to Omega, and they begin contacting everyone they can think of to help get her back.

Two...The Empire is now on Ord Mantell. Cid knows about Pabu, even though Phee has only ever mentioned it and never actually brought her there. She deduces that the Batch is there with Phee since she hasn't heard from Phee in a while either. She makes a trade with the Empire--the Batch in exchange for her continued uninterrupted dealings on Ord Mantell. Omega is taken before the Batch can stop it and the Batch barely make it off Pabu. When they confront Cid, blasters are raised by all, including Phee. Cid agrees to help with reluctance and tells them that they brought this on themselves by crossing her, at which point Hunter warns, "If Omega doesn't come back from this, neither do you."

Three...I hate this idea, but it's hard to trust things that are too perfect. Phee has had this planned from the moment Cid told her about "rogue clones on the run from the Empire". She wants Pabu to remain a safe haven for the people she loves. She works hard to gain the Batch's trust, especially of the good-looking smart one whom she thinks has the best chance of seeing through her. When Hunter asks why she brought them there, she says, "Makes you wonder, doesn't it?" When Tech pauses to see where she is going, she says, "Gonna put this somewhere safe." She is actually off to contact the Empire. When she asks Hunter, "What's wrong?", she is worried he has noticed the Empire arriving. When it all goes down and the Empire only wants to take Omega and simply kill the Batch, Phee changes her mind because she never wanted anything to happen to Omega. (This seems like a highly unlikely scenario, but it is still crawling around in my brain, tormenting me. I like Phee and I like what she brings out in the Batch, so if some variation of her betraying them comes to pass I will be gutted!)

I know bad things are coming for the group, but I really hope Phee continues to be the virtuous pirate we now love and that Cid finally makes good on the "I've changed" and "I might surprise you" lines she gave us. All I know for sure is that I'm going to be a nervous wreck about this show until the finale and probably long after.

You said in your hcs post how gnarly the Custad battle for spider will be, I don’t think it will be that bad since I’m sure the sullys wouldn’t care that bad as long as spiders not turning against them

I think it would be really nasty case both parties have been at odds for so long (but also not really at the same time, like Quaritch is a resurrected enemy, so the way time is measured with them is so weird) and their wounds runs so deep.

Jake would probably be unwilling to let Spider go to Quaritch cause he can never fully forgive him, even if he redeems himself. Jake's trauma has caused him to reactive towards any threats, real, fake, or potential. Quaritch will, most likely, never not be a threat to him. he would be more than willing to keep spider away from him if it meant his family would be safer. Neytiri would not want spider around if he went with Quaritch but knows that her kids would not likely hold some sort of animosity towards her if she sent their friend/brother away. The kids all have different feelings towards spider and would react differently to the whole situation; Kiri would be po'd about it, Spider is her closest friend, and understands what it's like to not have your birth parents (even if he got one back, he's know that pain for 16 years), she would want to keep him close. Lo'ak, in the case of losing Neteyam, would probably flip; not only is he losing another brother, but he's losing him to the man responsible for his brother's death. In the case of him not losing Neteyam (so canon divergence), he's still losing a brother and friend. He knows that this is gonna rip the family apart, and that scares him (that kid has to have anxiety and attachment issues after their childhood). Neteyam would feel slightly betrayed; he's only been taught to know Quaritch as the bastard that destroyed his home, and he can't see him any different, even if this clone of the one who hurt his family, is doing everything he can to better himself and make up for the suffering he and his original self has caused. Tuk being the youngest, would have the hardest time understanding it; all she wants is her brother, and she knows her parents don't like Quaritch, so she would feel so conflicted and confused.

Long story short, Spider going with Quaritch, no matter the circumstance, would feel like betrayal in one way or another. Jake is too protective, Neytiri has so much trauma tracing back to that man (she couldn't let Spider go to him and come back, but she can't take him away from his siblings, no matter her feelings for him), and the kids are strung between their parents and their brother.

Quaritch, on the other hand, just wants his kid. He's desperate to have his kid. I feel like if he risks everything to redeem himself, and he doesn't at least get to have Spider, he will lose it. One person can only handle so much mental weight before they snap; leaving the company that has controlled so much of your life, are basically war-armed gods, and now have a very good reason to kill, is already a lot to bare. But if you add the fact of being kept away from the one thing you gave it all up for, you'd go a little crazy. I could see Quaritch turning to rage, and desperation, much like Neytiri had.

It would not be an easy transition, no matter how it happens, at least not at first before trust is built.

also jake is kinda petty, in like, the dad way (if that even makes sense), so I could really see that tendency to be hypocritical and overbearing coming out in this situation; like, despite never being a good father to spider (more like a shitty owner at this point) he would act as though he was better for Spider then Quaritch. Despite accepting Quaritch as an ally, or at least not an enemy, he feels entitled to keep his son from him.

There's also the whole son for a son thing if we look at this from a canon standpoint.

basically, things would be very complex and chaotic, at least at the very beginning, but things getting any better would be a long and rocky road that may go untravelled.

Imagine if Yuu had to do a concert during VDC and they start singing The Party Isn't Over by JT Music alongside the light music club (Cater, Lilia and Kalim).

Oh, I love this idea! That behind NRC tribe's back, the mc went to the light music club along with kalim to do their own thing. When they go on stage after the NRC tribe, vil and the others start complaining about how the mc and Kalim betrayed them. But unlike the NRC tribe, they’re just there to have fun.

Slight AU at the end 'cause the results ended surprisingly differently than in-game. Also, the song was very long so had to write a more animatic style.

Everyone had taken their seats in the VIP area after their own successful performance. As they all gave a sigh of relief at the fact that the performance was over and done with, Jamil was looking around with an annoyed and worried face. grumbling that Kalim probably got lost again.

"hey, Jamil. I think I found him," deuce whispered to the anxious vice dormleader. He pointed to the stage and the group gasped in a mixture of shock and offense when they noticed Kalim and Mc on the stage with Cater and Lilia.

"Please give a warm welcome to the Light music club! They will be performing a song called 'Party Isn't Over!" The announcer boomed over the crowd. It became silent as the upbeat synth started.

Cater: I can be your superstar Kalim: We're electric-charged tonight Lilia: Like the amp on my guitar! Mc: And sparks are really starting to fly!

Cater: You opened up my heart and I let you inside My song lacked soul, but you played the part that so long I've been longing to find

Lilia: You really got me feelin' awful hungry for love I promise, I'm not gonna bite! And despite my claws and my shiny jaws You can bring out my acoustic slide

Kalim: Oh, who is this that I see? It's a brand new friend! Who goes out with others to help amend Mc: I'm a bit lost, it's true! I've adapted and grew As I've gone through this over and over and over again

Kalim: Comе make new friends tonight! Then we can party all night! All: With Kalim, Cater, Lilia, last but not least, Mc! Lilia: The party was over, but we're gonna throw it again! Cater and clones: Do it over and over and over again! Cater and clones: It's our show and you know that it won't ever end! Mc: Don't look too close, because then you knew All: 'Cause the party isn't over for you!

The crowd oohed and awed as the students used a mix of magic and dancing to create quite an amazing spectacle. The group on stage laughed joyously as they continued to sing.

Cater: Emergency alert, Look out for the leech! Lilia: Listen up, on guard, look out you three! Mc: Wrong place, wrong time, we just happened to be! Mc: Don't need magic to be attendin' for free Mc: honestly wish for a normal day, pretty please? Mc: I'm in charge of this school to a degree! Mc: I promise to try and keep some peace Mc: Please just keep me alive and kicking Mc: Oh seven, that sounded wrong! Nevermind, let's go fix this Mc: With how these students have gone Mc: There's just so much that we cant dismiss Mc: But the different fights aren't much danger Mc: Compared to meeting so many strangers Mc: Stay away from crazy students! Mc: they might just spring or snap into mutants!

Kalim: Don't be afraid, you're a superstar! Lilia: You're gonna rock on 'til the end! Cater: After all, it was you who lit a spark in my heart All: Now the party is starting all over again!

Cater: Who's here enjoying this song? Kalim: somethings just not quite right? Lilia: I been alive for oh so long! Mc: I never asked for this kinda life!

All: Do it over and over and over again After a few small minutes, now we know it won't end It's our coffin with often others making problems again Hit the lights, come to life, no more time to pretend!

The crowd erupted into cheers, as many screamed and clapped, some even demanding an encore. The group on stage thanked everyone as they moved off stage. The group hugged and congratulated each other for the fun performance and tricks they did via magic. They hurried to their seats to watch the rest of the show.

The group bantered and whispered to each other in the VIP seats, ace and deuce saying how mc betrayed them. while Jamil talked with Kalim, somewhat impressed at how he kept it a secret from him.

Once all the shows were over the groups were brought onto the stage for crowd voting. Kalim happily stood between the two groups of the light music club and the NRC tribe.

"Thank you all for your patience! Please scan the QR code on the screens and brochures to cast your vote for your favorite performance this fine afternoon." The stadium fell into silence and quiet murmuring as people casted their digital votes. The two groups on stage were sweating, anxious to know if they won. "Thank you to all those that voted! we are tallying the results now. Drumroll please!" The announcer boomed as a drumroll was played. "Congratulations to... The light music club! With RSA and NRC taking 2nd and third place respectively. It's incredible that the groups are only one point apart from each other! Give it up folks for the winners!" The crowd exploded into cheers and screams as fireworks of gold, pink, and red went off in the sky. Magical sparkles swirling over the crowd as many surged toward the wining group. Swept away in the crowd they all laughed merrily as they celibrated, singing along with the recorded music of their preformance.

The NRC tribe watched in shock from the stage, Ace and deuce whining how unfair that was, Vil gritted his teeth, and the others slouched in defeat and watched Jamil run after his dorm leader being swept away into the crowd. Crowley was briming with tears of joy at a victory, paling a bit when he recieved a message from the Mc.

*the others dont want the money, I asked. So you owe me $50,000. See you later crow man*

Was it worth it going behind the NRC tribe's back and sneaking Kalim carefully out every night to practice till early morning, to prove themselves, and get the money they deserved for their hard work? Absolutely. And they would do it again.

One Nihlus and Crisis Company, coming right up! (under the cut for lenth purposes) Gonna stop trying to format it and just post it cause this website likes to shit itself anytime you use its own built in features

What Do they want to be Remembered as?

Nihlus: Doesn't want to be remembered, and actually goes out of his way to make sure he is generally never perceived in the first place. To Nihlus, for Nihlus, knowledge about him is a weapon against him. Better to pass through most of life like a ghost. Jet: Wants to be remembered as a smart Captain and a Good Man if he can, someone effective and reliable at what he does. Jet would have deserted the GAR after Geonosis if he didn't believe in the cause of protecting the innocent from the horror of separatist occupation and destruction, because he doesn't believe in the republic itself. He doesn't want to be a hero or maintain a system, he just wants to end the suffering. Margo: She want to do something cool! Mostly just wants to be remembered as that awesome uncle that fixes everything everyone needs Cynic: Would love to be a beloved artist. He wants people to want what he makes. He wants to be remembered for what he can do rather than what he is. Many of his watercolor sketches already sit framed on the walls of Mary Ann's fine dining restaurants, so it could be a reality if the galaxy is kind to him. Heron: Doesn't want to be remembered by anyone except those closest to him. People would be harder to lure in to back alleys to try and mug him if they know to stay away from the guy with the prosthetic leg. And how can he commit crimes against the force gods if no one attacks him first? Lake: Chronically unsure, Lake thinks he wants to be remembered as a decent guy all things considered. Thinks they're all going to be remembered as monsters, but whatever. That's whoever comes next's problem to deal with, he's just trying to have fun and stay alive. Torch: Torch doesn't care if or how he's remembered after he's gone, he's also just here to have a good time while he can. His captain would probably say he's going to be remembered as a goofy problem soldier, but he's going to be remembered as absolutely devotional to his squad, and an excellent sharpshooter. Sprig: He wants to be remembered like a kickass fantasy spy advisor like leliana or zeveran from dragon age. Course the only reason they're deeds are known is because they're part of a video game. Maybe.... he thinks about writing a blackmail book. It would highly embarrass so many senators and office officials for petty (usually illegally so) shit, but that's what they get for legally making him the guy who had to deal with all the bomb threats by chance of birth. Empty buildings give him time to riffle through their shit.

Nihlus: He trusts trustworthy people.... as long as they aren't Jedi or Sith. Anyone capable of resisting his ability to unconditionally access their thoughts and intentions is an eventual threat even if they chose not to resist him.

-He doesn't do things for the good of doing it, if he wants to help even at risk to himself, he really has to like someone. Otherwise that honor is reserved for his clan, for whom he would give himself at the lightest provocation.

-Nihlus ended up in the Era of the Clone Wars due to being locked into a stasis chamber in his archive meant for fragile documents by his former master and oldest friend, Kishta, who had lured him in there to prevent his attempted assassination of the sith emporor for the destruction of his previous clan

- Nihlus is physcially incapable of betraying any of his squad no matter the cost (one of Jets orders), nor would he want to if he could. that is trust for Nihlus. Anyone else is fair game to whatever else serves the needs of him and his people

Jet: Has a healthy suspicion of others because to do otherwise would be irresponsible, but it does not stop him from reaching out, from trying, when he feels that the person is worth it

- Jet will never turn his back on his squad, his family, by his own admission. Has, though, on numerous occasions given some orders that put them in unnecessary danger for appearances sake. no one is perfect.

-Jet has never been truly back-stabbed, but he has been lied to on numerous occasions

-Jet... is initially ready to trade Nihlus life if and when he has to, for the sake of his squad and their family, as was his deal when becoming the Siths Captain. However, the longer he has him, the less likely he is to actually do so. Would not be able to choose between the lives of his squad even if their lives depended on it.

Margo: She trusts hard and fast, but if her trust is ever completely lost... that's it. Good fucking luck ever getting it back.

- Puts her trust in her Captain, and would turn her back on anyone he deemed it necessary for. Otherwise, she goes with her gut to do what she thinks she has to, to be able to sleep soundly at night.

- There have been several times where Margorashly believes they have been betrayed, by Nihlus... by Jet... by militia allies... for the first two it turned out alright, the last one... is still up for debate

- Will betray anyone she has to, to protect their family. She's the second in command, and that saddles her with a certain level of responsibility damn whatever her own morals say.

Cynic: Does not trust a single soul outside of their squad, although its less of a "all of you are sus" and more of a "none of you are reliable"

- it's not turning your back on people if you weren't really going to help them in the first place. Anyone who isn't squad is just fodder for the cause, although he has far more of an affinity towards helping other clones than to even looking a natborns way

- you can only be backstabbed by people you trust and he believes his squad wouldnt do that, everything else is just an unanticipated attack

- has a tier list of who he would trade for who within his squad if he had to that he would never tell anyone else about. It's not based on who he likes best, but rather who he thinks would be able to best keep the squad going

Heron: Doesn't trust easily outside his squad, that's how you get caught. and he hates nothing more than when the jig is up, tehee

- easily, he'll easily turn his back on people (who arent his crew). The only people worth sticking your neck out for are the ones as willing to kill for you as they are to die for you.

- Definately thought Nihlus did that one thing that one time like Margo but was also wrong, although he didn't take it as personally as she did. He is well aware there are worse people them him out there.

- has a tier list like Cynic does. two, actually. one that he publically shifts around as a joke anytime someone fucks with him, and the real one that he holds close to his heart.

Lake: Wants to believe the best in people at all times, genuinely wants to

- would, in the opinion of much of the rest of his crew, would give his life too easily in order to do the right thing. would not easily turn his back on anyone that needed help

- All the time, if by back-stabbed you mean 'dissapointed', Torch is too cautious though, so Lake has never had the chance to be seriously betrayed

- Would never betray his crew outright, no matter what. the morality of his crew matters less than the vows he has made to them. Has been given an ultimatum before, and he made his choice.

Torch: Wants to believe the best in people, but always expects the worst, he has to. it's kept them alive before, and it will do so again.

- will trust easily, and will break that trust easily if he thinks he detects the slightest threat. His squad comes first, always. Will tattle on them to the Captain if he thinks it'll be funny though.

- His initial fuck-ups almost cost his training batch their spots in the GAR, but they didn't have to throw him as under the bus for it as hard as they did

- Will die with his crew before he betrays them, but if he thinks accepting the initial offer will get him a way to help, he can put up a pretty convincing front

Sprig: Trust is hard earned with Sprig, but he notices potential and offers tentative trust accordingly

- socially, he will not be caught unawares. he's spent too long watching people.

- Has never been truely betrayed. had brothers who told him they'd come back who never did, but it's hard to blame the dead, isnt it?

- Sprig will betray anyone he has to, again, for his crew. Jet built this squad well. for his crew? He also has a list of who's life comes first. like the others, his isnt on top of his own.

Random angst headcanon?

Nihlus: Sometimes he looks in the mirror tries to grin and wishes he could smile in full like he could when he was young and happy and didn't had nerve damage over a full third of his face

Jet: gets migraines from his numerous head injuries

Margo: Several of the squad she commanded before she became Jets second died very soon after she transferred, and sometimes she wonders if she had turned him down whether or not she could have done anything to prevent it

Cynic: feels a lot of insecurity initially over his place in the squad, although he doesn't show it, since it was Margo that requested (demanded) he join with her rather than Jet offering.

Heron: Gets phantom cramps in a foot that no longer exists if he leans on that side for too long without a cane, and nothing except straight 'sith magic' has ever seemed to help make it go away

Lake: For better (and through worse) Lake will stay by Torch's side, no matter how often he ethically disagrees with the rest of their squad, because the rest of their batch is DEAD and Lake will be damned if he loses his last batcher, no matter what sort of monster he has to become to keep them that way.

Torch: Constantly puts up a front of whimsy because he's afraid that what he has underneath it isnt worth loving.

Sprig: So, so scared of dying. It's one of the reasons he transfered out of the ordinence corps

What do people assume about them? Are they right?

Nihlus: People often see Nihlus' lightsabers and lack of clone armor when the squad is together and assume that he's either the Jedi, or the one in Charge. They are oh so very wrong on both accounts. He will get really pissy if they're stubborn about trying to talk to him over his Captain about mission shit he could really not care any less about. Jet: People assume that the Sith is some how mind controlling his Captain into doing what he wants, when he wants. Jet just scoffs in Blood Oath and orders Nihlus to scrub the refreshers for the third time this month as punishment for breaking some ships rules or ditching drills to hang around Kix, again. Margo: People often assume she's a mechanic, when she's just a tech. Sure, she dabbles in machinery, but she's much more capable on the software than the hardware aspect of technology. She can rewire the engines power cells but for the grace of the force don't ask her what model of spark plug the damn thing needs. Cynic: People assume that by his name and attitude, he hates fun. a real stick up his ass stick in the mud. Truth is he's an early twenty-somethings man trying to make the most of things, he's just a little pessimistic, like, all the time. Absolute party animal otherwise Heron: People assume that as a Medic he's a real 'save everyone you can, do the least amount of harm' mildly Hippocratic oath inclined kinda guy like a majority of the medical professionals in the GAR. Unfortunately, he has... serial killer tendencies. Bit of a god complex, Giver and Taker of Life kinda thing. See enough guys with your face die under you hands and your knife and it's bound to do something, warp you in some way. Lake: People may assume that as like, one of the few people with a truely morally compassionate compass of the group, that Lake would be the weak link to press on to coerce into betraying the squad, but they would be very, very wrong. He values his families life above all others, just not his own. Torch: His whimsical nature might trick one into thinking he's a fool, but Torch is actually one of the most tactically brilliant soldiers in Crisis Company, and has the best aim out of all of them. He's just... occasionally taken over by the urge to Have a Good Time. Sprig: Is a real Seems like a Cinnamon Roll, Could Kill You, kinda guy. Really great at drawing people into just talking. In reality, he's filling it all away to use at a later date should it come in handy. (rarely does it, so he always just comes off as a peoples person)

i think it'd be a cool plot twist if amanda waz like Admiral Thrawn, only force-sensitive and fully capable of weilding the Dark Saber, and she has to fight Nines and Connor, easily overpowering them until DUN DUN DUN.... queue Hank with Elijah, Amanda's former Padawan and essentially Walmart Anakin but actually smart and able to handle his emotions. And together, the four overpower Amanda and defeat her. They don't kill her, instead she kills herself by stabbing herself in the gut with her own saber, as she'd rather die than betray the Empire.

ohhhh yess you let's go!!

Carl is a Senator in the senate or works as a diplomat for one of the Inner Rim planets. He does what he can to make sure the Empire doesn't have complete rule over the galaxy's citizens but he recognizes that there's only so much an old man can do for an abandoned democracy. His role becomes like that of Mon Mothma's in Andor. Keeping up a facade of an old and naive man who's actions don't gain much traction in the Senate but is actually supporting the Rebellion and is trying to do his part in reclaiming a free galaxy once again. Once his he hears that his old aide has been spotted working for the Rebellion, his efforts double and he takes a 'personal leave' some time before the completion of the first Death Star and then drops off the grid. Markus worries as he has not heard news of Senator Manfred for some time but his worries are laid to rest when he walks into the hangar one day to find Carl already waiting for him there.

I LOVE the idea of the Jericrew being like the Bad Batch!! That'd be AWESOME!! I picture Markus starting off as a Rebel cell leader and then the bigger and more dangerous their missions become he gains more trust and traction in the Rebellion. Soon enough he becomes one of it's Captains and he has a whole battalion assigned to him. He is Jericho Four - North is the kick-ass muscle of the group. Grew up on the streets and won't hesitate to cut a bitch. North having a story similar to Ventress is super fucking cool and i love that. Don't have much story in mind for her right now, it's still up in the air but im open to suggestions! At one point tho she and Chloe get together. Not sure how. She is Jericho Two -Josh is the tech support. For the most part, grew up in a normal family but experienced the War just like everyone else. Times were hard and he believed that he just had to wait it out and then everything would be better. If only he could hold on a little longer in peace and silent resolute strength, then it would be alright. But he learned the hard way that standing by and doing nothing wasn't going to achieve the changes he wanted to see. He still refuses to pick up a blaster or any weapon really, but is not against self defense. He prefers to offer support and stay out of the line of fire. He is Jericho Three -And Simon is the Jack of All Trades. He has little information here and there about the most random of topics and it's not until later that Markus finds out that he used to be a tutor/study aide for a high class family on Mandalore. Which is how he knows so much stuff. It makes Markus fall in love a little bit more. He is Jericho One

I have no big plans for Todd in this au. At most he'd probably be a side character who pushes the plot forward, somewhere in Kara's story and will probably pop up at one point in Connor's. But again for plot reasons.

Do Connor and Markus meet???.............. .......possibly who's to say??

AND DAAAaaaaammmnnn that'd be one hell of a story! I'd certainly read that!! And my dude, if you got any ideas for a Star Wars au as well i would LOVE to hear it!! And Amanda would fall on her own saber. She would do it to also be petty and try to give one last traumatic memory to Nines and Connor before going out. It's what she'd want. (bitch)

There's my Dynamo and rescuebots au, which I've written a bit about (and ended up freaking out halfway through the last ficlet of it😅)

I play a lot with my tfa Mockingbird oc and how they'd be created and introduced to the autobots

I had this old au was was based on the cyberformed earth concept but it was naturally based around a random character who wasn't autobot or Decepticon adjacent and almost in a sorta "okay fuck, the apocalypse happened, now i have to map the terrain and learn new things" way

I frequently find myself going back to the plotline of the tfp autobots capturing a semi-rogue Decepticon who just... stays there and both parties get attached. Sometimes said con was friends with orion and tronus before the war, sometimes not. I have found similar plotlines that are same but earthspark.

I've played around with a bayverse x tfp continuity before as i think they would compliment each other nicely worldbuilding wise

I've probably posted about it before but the idea of Megatron having a friend/amica/whatever in the backround who absolutely gave the shovel talk to Orion and is frothing at the intake to bestow said shovel consequences to Oppy for breaking Megatron's spark

Tfp but Whirl comes to earth plotline, and Bulkhead actually gets super protective of Whirl because he fucking knew what that guy went through and is gonna set things right this time

"Oh Fuck Overlord? On Earth? I guess the autobots, Decepticons, and humans have to work together against this menace"

Posted about this before but a tfa "Decepticons win and most/all autobots are captured" situation where a moderately higher ranking Decepticon finds the situation sorta fucked up and slowly but surely acts as a double agent to betray the Decepticons and get as many autobots as possible onto drumroll here a tfa version of the Lost Light!

The one tfa oc Firefłight being a lazy big bastard with a frenemies-ish situation with Fanzone and pushing Starscream off of tall buildings

Naturally rescue bots plotlines that include them coming to the tfp base oh naturally

I don't talk about it a bunch but during Serotonin Syndrome two: electric boogaloo I went on an absolute streak with the tf: a&p au that was very much based on a single valveplug tfa megs x tfp optimus ficlet I saw

smoltina's incubator tank (which ima just headcanon now was kept seperate from the other clones during the movie and chara somehow found it)

like- this one was built stronger and stuff, since even if it was a clone of giratina he's still a God so- like- :'D

They're kept in stasis inside the incubator i'm kinda thinking they were just in stasis inside the incubator since mewtwo probably needed something to hold them in.

that and because of how slowly the creation trio "grows" up thats how he stayed as basically a baby by the time chara finds him possibly years later after mewtwo had already made the clone of giratina if that makes sense-

he was still getting nutrients and whatever to grow the clone incubator

but either way like he was sorta kept in stasis at the same time, since he was also a clone of a literal God. I guesss mewtwo wanted to make sure like it wouldnt fail or anything goes wrong

thats also why he put smoltina's tank away from the other clone tanks so even if the other clones got let out or something went wrong with that (like ash fucking breaking shit to save his pokemon/pikachu) it wouldnt affect smoltina's tank and- ye. smoltinas also wouldnt affect the other clones either if THAT went wrong either- if that makes sense

also lowkey thinking of changing exactly WHEN chara starts hanging out with Ash and them and in fact, its after the 1st movie is when she really starts to travel with them tbh maybe she saw ash sacrifice himself between mew and mewtwos attacks and- dialga or something pulled some strings so chara would keep those memories anyways even when mewtwo erases the memories cuz he saw Ash's future and how he's KINDA needed to be kept alive for literally every single movie/major event cuz he has this uncanny ability to calm legendaries and ya know- keep the world from getting destroyed when the other Gods decide to be dumb or whatever lol plus he didnt want like, chara to keep travelling alone and since Ash is a bew then- ye.

plus maybe too when chara saves smoltina from the tank/finds him, because of the stasis as well smoltina was actually pulled out of the incubator too soon, and like ash and co help chara bring the tiny bew to professor Oak to look at him, and make sure he's doing fine and that also sorta helps chara to trust ash and the other bews and wanna travel with them, cuz she sees how worried they also were of smoltina when he wasnt waking up- due to being pulled from incubation too soon on accident

originally it was gonna be during some random episode in the indigo league anime but i feel like the 1st movie could work better cuz thats when Ash's bewiness REALLy shines?? with the fact he was willing to die to save the clones/real ones from killing each other and to stop the mews from fighting and stuff-

((And before anyone asks, yes after the events of the first movie Chara teeeeeechnically gets 7 pokemon on her team. Since the Creation Trio is too busy maintaining the universe and Time/Space and all that they cannot take care of and Arceus is still asleep/healing from his injuries caused by Marcues hynotising Damos to betray Arceus in the Arceus movie and stuff to raise Smoltina, so Chara ends up doing that since he's a preemie/infant. Plus too anyways, there's times the anime seems not not give a shit?? like how some episodes have pokemon use more than 4 moves and stuff sooo thats why. Also Smoltina is shiny, just to make it easier to tell which is the clone, and which is the real one. and- ye.))

S2 ep 7

Aka the last ep before Ivan acquires a body count.

1. I have never watched a reunion between a character I adore and character I like and where I don’t ship them with anyone else at this point in the story with more exasperation. JUST END IT!!! Ivan is probably in my top 5 show characters of all time and I like Caro just fine in s2 but this is a ship that just does not work. She is not in love with him (I don’t think she ever was) and by now, even if he hasn’t caught on, neither is he. It’s just inertia and familiarity and need to have someone. And I don’t even know why Caro came back to him again - he wasn’t chasing her any more, it’s not love, it’s no longer pity, so what? Knowledge that he is a good boyfriend who treats her as a princess? But then what does it say about her supposed great thing for Marcos - it was one thing when she gave up on Marcos because she felt so bad for Ivan who was broken at the time. It’s another matter when she gives up on Marcos because Ivan is a solid boyfriend. Not much of a deep yearning for Marcos to be had there.

I do love that the show never turned either of them into a bad guy or even gave one of them some epic love that ended the relationship - Caro was never obsessed with Marcos and it was a long time after his break up with Caro that Ivan hooked up with Julia. It’s just sometimes two perfectly fine people are not compatible. Anyway, I am with Julia - having a hormonal roommate waking you up because she snuck a dude in and is loudly making up is a quintessential experience in college but annoying as hell :P

2. Since this is a rewatch, any time I see Amelia and Marcos interact, I get a full body shudder. Enjoy dying in a literal ditch, statutory creep!

3. Teacher is terrorizing a student. Is anything gonna happen to them for that? Of course not. But also start of explicit theme that people who prey on underage students are horrors. He spins some story to Julia that he loved the missing girl and Julia (who after all, had a “relationship” with her stepdad) views it as tragic and romantic. But we the viewers are shown that in addition to statutory, he murdered the girl. Math teacher, Julia’s step dad, Amelia - the show never goes into “eh nbd” territory - is is always a symptom of hidden horror.

4. “Gnome” became friends with Paula because she was a ringer for Irene (because she is a clone!) who was kind to him back in 1970s. Once again, in retrospect, Nazis is so obviously an answer to who is doing stuff - they threw away the “damaged” twin - hell, the “gnome’s” mother hated him and said she wished he died. God. They are horrors. (Side note - how much do I adore that Nazi Prince Marcos (with daddy and granddaddy being high up Nazis in this org) brings them down working with so many types of people they hate - son of “undesirables” (teen druggies) Ivan, resident of psych ward Maria, Jewish Fermin, etc etc. In your face!)

5. Slash goggles activated!

6. Marcos realizing Caro is the traitor. You know, I forgot this part - no wonder he has horrifying trust issues by the end. Even some of his closest allies betrayed him (either briefly like Caro or long term like Roque.)

7. Marcos continues to be the best brother ever. Seriously. But you know what hits differently on rewatch? Paula saying that sometimes people look good and are good, it’s not always a mismatch - and uses the example of their parents. Ah, the irony!

8. Slash goggles activating again.

But on a plot note, when Ivan is told Caro is a traitor, his initial reaction is to get in Marcos’ face and defend her; quite a contrast with Caro earlier in the season.

9. When Fermin told Maria he was in love with her, I screamed like I did the first time.

Maria is a fan too. Because a little later, this is going on. And I love that Fermin makes the first move but Maria is the one in charge.

But also, yet another total hint - the painting they found, that Fermin was looking for, is by Bosch - most famous for his phantasmagorical paintings of horror and hell. (Also, Nazis were known for stealing paintings of their victims.)

10. Caro trying to distract Ivan from her theft of evidence by appealing to his hormones is ummm.

Side note - what the hell school is it where students can full on make out half clad in bright daylight in their rooms and nobody notices. (To be fair, later on, Ivan x Julia were literally full on banging in school, but at that point, the place was openly overrun by Nazis, had the plague and/or was cordoned off by the military, so potential teen STDs were the least of their concerns.)

The thing where it goes from umm to WTF STOP GIRL!!! is when she tells him she loves him - and she never said it before. I do think she means it, even if not in a romantic sense - she feels guilty to him and she definitely appreciates how good he is to her, but she also says it as a distraction and that’s not good! (I do love that she is learning her tone-deaf self-righteousness in s1 was not awesome - here is Caro, the one who was most uncomprehending of people not wanting to search for truth for valid RL reasons, betraying that search for a valid RL reason of protecting her mother. I never got into any of her romantic stuff, but she had a really good character arc in the show.)

11. She is confronted by the gang for destroying all their evidence and she explains that she was threatened via her mother’s life and seriously, I don’t ship them but Ivan is boyfriend goals.

Here he is silently comforting her as they watch a snuff film of the judge (they are 16-17 and this is the second snuff video they’ve seen, my god! No wonder they never tell anyone again if they can help it - they get betrayed/it’s futile AND it gets innocent people killed.)

12. And the ep ends on the “gnome” being killed by the cops, for the sin of being different and for a murder that was actually committed by the evil org but he was blamed for because hey he looks like a freak. Summing up the theme that no authority can be trusted in this world because if they are not actively evil, they are complacent, easily fooled, and judging by appearances - powerful, well-mannered people can never be wrong, but those on the margins or that do not fit in, or are outside the structure (by being young, or with weird abilities like Julia or with mental stay record like Maria or w/e else) will not be listened to.

..I actually don't think no one loves me. I just fundamentally believe they're wrong and will inevitably be disappointed when they discover I am a husk person not a real human being and that's my fate and believe or not most of this is related to ADHD bc I can't fix it or stick with anything and all the meds make me sick so I feel doomed to do fuck all until I rot and die. Every time I get hopeful my body betrays me. Fucking MCAS.

Icannot emphasize enough that I will take myself out of at least run off into the woods to try and live like an animal, if something does not change in the next 2 years to make it possible for me to exist in society. Like getting disability j guess would help. I am a dog. Not a person. I cannot give anymore.

it is not worth living this way. Every day is an endless punishment for all the things I cannot do and at this point the pit is so deep i will not get out.

And so like posting in this way and alienating myself are a way of pushing everyone out but simultaneously hoping somehow the cry for help will reach someone who can genuinely help me. I know this isn't me, this isn't the bigger spirit that animates me speaking this is the thing that wants to kill me, but can't even show itself to the people who say they love me. We have seen too much and the desire to destroy something significant is getting stronger. I guess this is an admission I understand su*cide bombers and crave going out burning a bank or a church or a detention center. simultaneously a desperate plea for someone to show me some kind of other way that isn't this plodding, hesitating half life. Two of my friends before I left my home state told me I should have been dead by now. I know what they meant and it's great I am alive but I don't see a future other than death. It's so close, so intimate. I go to sleep with death every night waiting for her. The funny thing is not many people I know closely have died. If they had it actually might be easier like I could live for them. But instead it feels like I'm the one who is supposed to die. I live with that every day and I know I'm not the only one but with everything that's happening I no longer can believe things will get better. I'm just trying to do as much good as I can before it comes for me. I don't see anyone who really needs me here. Or wants me bad enough to merit staying. Like it's all pipe dreams, could have beens, obligations. Fake. In the clouds.

I haven't been real since I was a kid.

I'm sorry y'all. I'm really sorry. I don't know if it will even matter when it happens. Like a candle burning out. Who is gonna notice beyond another little wave of sad posts. Currently I'll probably be buried by my family as a woman. They'll say it was inevitable. I was always so mentally unwell. Kill me and blame me for it.

I have so many ideas and so much passion but no discipline for it and frankly I feel like a piece of paper god put a sketch on and crumpled up and threw away. Like that episode of Gravity Falls where Dipper clones himself and there's a Glitch Dipper who everyone sort of feels bad for until he dies. Two headed calf. All I have ever tried to be is kind while people saw more in me than I could give or sustain. At least I got to see the stars.

My soul is good but it can't live here on this plane right now. It doesn't want to. All the people I love are fighters who metabolize everything into medicine and power for the future or at least stick around hedonistically. I am not built like that. I find no pleasure in pleasure. I am weak and too fragile to exist by myself and at every turn am reminded of this. I try to play it off as kink or funny but really, I don't think anyone can survive the level of self erasure that my system has developed.

My friend keeps telling me to play Disco Elysium but it's 40 dollars and I have to save all my $ for gas and credit card payment. To be responsible. Why do I even fucking care. I'm scared if I stop caring anymore I will just let go and become fully catatonic.

Hopefully this is rock bottom and somehow I will bounce up into a new perspective tomorrow. I pushed myself into burnout because all this messaging online about Palestine and genocide is like you aren't doing enough and that really really works against my ability to do anything like the PDA I cannot help and have been fighting my whole life to just like, brush my teeth. I can't watch these people beg for help and so many turn away in hatred and then not even make phone calls. I am trying to look for the helpers but I think the fascists want to kill all of us.

It's gonna take a miracle to get through this winter. I wish I could show somebody how desperate I feel. The pills are right there. I never get rid of them. I could do it tonight. But I won't.

I don't know how long you have to scream for help. I don't think it helps anyone. People fall down the spiral. Maybe there is something to live for for others but for me, it's all conjecture. I have full responsibility to bring about everything that I could live for. If I give up, it doesn't happen. If I give up, the good things in this world go on without me. No one ever knew me really. I feel so fundamentally separated & invisible.

I'm mad I feel this way and am wasting my life talent and time. I am tired of being depressed and low key a shitty friend. I am ready for God to take me and use me for some new form of life that has a fighting chance to be something.

If only that weren't just a delusion. I wanted my life to mean something and leave a mark but at the end of the day this voice tells me it's not even worth that, that no one will remember me.

Pathetic. Jesus. How do you fight this.

I'm tired.

I'll keep fighting another day at a time. But there's no way to be okay right now. I have to live with this person the world has made me into and let go of who we could have been with more love.
