-dream wakes up filled with dread/anticipation/a feeling smths gonna go down

-checks on George, teagan, sapnap, patches, even Milo and Naomi but they're all fine so he ignores it

-after he's been busy being a dad and is getting work done he decides to check discord(I actually can't decide if it should be discord or just a text)

-he sees a message from to.mmy and it freaks him out sm he just shuts his computer off and leaves the room

-he sits on it for a few days

-talks to George about it

-talks to drista about it

-finally messages To.mmy back after like a week

-they both apologize(mostly to.mmy)

-they begin a very tentative friendship(?)

-fast forward some and they're on call and just playing Minecraft and George walks in and has a short conversation with dream(mostly just checking the vibe and seeing if dream needs an out)

-as George leaves they say ily (maybe kiss) and To.mmy is like who is that?

-"George" "You two are dating?" "We're *married*" "oh" (insert smth about how in another world To.mmy would have been involved in the wedding and probably would have given a speech)

-they talk about their wedding

-more time passes and Teagan is revealed to To.mmy (idk how maybe she marches in while they're talking, I haven't decided yet)

-dream has a panic moment of "what if he somehow puts her in danger" and realizes he has to work through that

- even more time passes(time jumps baby) To.mmy and Molly are in Florida for some reason and dteam go out to lunch with To.mmy and then later it's the dnf+To.mmy and Mo.lly date (WE WERE ROBBED. TOM.MY WHY COULDN'T YOU BE NORMAL)

-at some point tom.my and Molly end up in the dteam house and meet teagan

-everyone is like holding their breath as tom.my like squats down to say hi to her and introduce himself to her

-everyone relaxes when teagan is like "*happy baby noises*" and starts signaling that she wants to be picked up

- insert smth about moving on and forgiveness as I bullshit my way through ending the fic

also this fic takes place over the course of like 1-1.5 yr

i've always enjoyed the way tsubomi is portrayed. she's not really part of the story and we don't know much about her outside of her being the target of mob's feelings and in a way a symbol or symbolic goal for his character arc - but that's the point! the point is that that's a shitty thing in a story and also in real life to do to another person!

she has a very strong feeling of having her own thing going on. she's not the love interest in a shounen series, she's a middle schooler with her own life and troubles. there's kind of a meta level to it too, how we as the audience are not entitled to find out every detail of her life, right? i like how understated her portrayal is while also being consistent with the things that we actually see of her true self are. truly, she's a strong person who knows what she's about.

specifically the conveyor belt of confessions and her justified annoyance at having to deal with the emotions of all these people that have cast her into the role of their love interest is just *chefs kiss* perfect and a mood
