one thing about the core reveal scene is that it's one of the only times someone defends wei wuxian just out of like. anger and contempt. there's the desperate way that jiang cheng protects wei wuxian from his mother and the wens, and the gentle quiet way that lan wangji stands up for wei wuxian against the world, but it is So endlessly refreshing to see someone just be fucking mad that wei wuxian is being mistreated. wen nings fearsome, righteous anger is so good especially considering that wen ning is a character who so rarely ever let's himself show any anger at all, even when he has so much to be angry about
and he doesn't even get angry in a reserved, polite way either he literally tells jiang cheng to his face that he will never be as good as wei wuxian. saying that serves absolutely no purpose other than to hurt him. it doesn't reveal anything more about the core, its not a cold truth that jiang cheng needs to learn, it's not even really something that strictly Defends wei wuxian against anything. he literally just says it because he Knows it's exactly the thing that will hurt the most, and in that moment what wen ning wants to do is to hurt jiang cheng. and it's delicious

itachi saying “you’ve made the mistake in assuming i’m a patient man” and “go on, make it happen” are sending my coochie into overdrive, max acceleration, full throttle speed bc she is ROARING.

I cannot with how beautifully choreographed that last scene of hidden agenda ep 8 was; Dunk is 185cm, all lanky limbs and hidden muscles, and Joong just picked him up like nothing, as if that man isn't only a centimetre shorter. And the way dunk wraps his legs around Joong was so graceful. They somehow managed to do all those scenes of Joke manoeuvring Zo into bed and even lying in bed so smoothly, with no awkward tangled limbs or anything despite the fact that, again, these men are a whole 185cm.
Props to their intimacy coordinator man, and them as well for their performance bcs it was 👌

something i'm sorely going to miss since i don't think we're getting much of it in the show are the chill kanej scenes. like we all know of the window scene, which i believe they can still find a way to put into the show. but combining the crows pre-soc with tgt makes sure that there's always action and something happening. but the kanej scenes that we know of in pre-soc canon were always the very chill ones. just kaz and inej doing surveillance work together on rooftops on their bellies side by side. kaz and inej staying up late at night together doing jobs. kaz doing his paperwork in his office while inej sits by his windowsill feeding the crows that meandered there. these scenes are honestly a huge part of their relationship and i really hope we get to see that. in the show, they made kaz, jesper, and inej to be this kind of trio. like they always do their jobs and heists together. when really, kaz and inej were more partners, and jesper was their closest friend. and i do hope in the show, we return back to these dynamics in the books, and hopefully the crows find some rest, which is unlikely, because i really really want to see those scenes

your soa au is whats going to finally convince me to watch the show (i do love tragedy, found family and generational curses).
quick question, where does clark fit into this au?
Okay don't get your hopes up, the show kinda sucks. BUT, to give credit where it's due, You can really tell these guys love each other like they'll hug and kiss each other on the cheek, and are still very masculine.
And the generational curses here are really good and ends so nicely, I don't wanna spoil but damn they are really paying for their forefathers' sins.
There is so much tragedy in the show, not to spoil but almost everyone is dead or in a bad place.
Clark in this AU, is a reporter and one of the founding members of the Justice League with Bruce and Diana. They all met abroad and then came back to the US to start the club. He's just a good guy who wants the world to be a better place :)
