Rodeo with country Kiri headcanons

Timeline disclosure: you've been dating for about 6-8 months now

This might have gotten away from me a little bit... I'm in love with him okay? Just fluffyness and maybe a little crude language from bronco busting Katsuki

♡~ Flat out shocked you hadn't ever been to the rodeo before (or maybe only once or twice) and insists on taking you when it was in town the next week, happily chattering about the events and all the food and games when you agree to go with him

♡~ His face might have split if he grinned any bigger day of when he sees you in your jeans and the boots he had bought for you. "Can't let my girl go to the dusty rodeo without boots" he had commented the weekend before when he was on his knee helping you squeeze and maneuver your foot in the leather boot (if you've ever worn cowboy boots before it can be a pain getting them on with the comfortable socks you need to break them in)

♡~ Talks about how his friend Katsuki is participating in the bronco busting event this year after helping him win this particularly feisty stallion at auction, he's excited to see him win again for the seventh year in a row

♡~ You get excited when he takes you to the livestock pens to see all the cows and horses; getting to the end part where they have goats and ponies and even a couple of Llamas to feed the little pellet treats. He laughs at the piglets as they run around and slide down the little metal slide they have and comments how he wants to get a couple of pigs because they're just so darn cute

♡~ Only a few minutes before the main barrel racing event starts you and him are loading up with snacks from the vendors outside the stadium. Soft pretzels, corn dogs, jumbo lemonades, and a funnel cake you guys couldn't pass on. His hands are full as you make you way up the stadium bleacher seats, Eijiro will only let you carry the lemonades and nothing else.

♡~ He's so happy to answer any questions you have; pointing out different aspects of the events and telling you what he knows about the reaccuring riders. Just happy to listen to you and watch you get so excited.

♡~ You both almost shout your voices raw when Katsuki enters the arena (who cares if you hadn't met him quite yet) he makes it 7.8 seconds on the bucking stallion before getting thrown, rolling up onto his feet and racing for the barrier walls while the attendants rangle the horse back into the starting pin. Kirishima asks if you'd be okay skipping the next couple of events so he could go check on Katsuki and make sure he was alright. Of course you say yes and take his hand as he leads you back down the stadium stairs to the back area

♡~ Katsuki is being looked over by the standby paramedics even though he's putting up a fuss. Snapping that he's just fine and to leave him alone, which they do after a minute of his arguing. He washes the blood from his busted lip out of his mouth with a quick spit of water as Kirishima is introducing you, his calloused hand shaking yours gruffly. He waves you off when you ask him if he's alright, nearly biting Kiri when he pokes the bruise blooming across his shoulder. "'m fine, nothin' to worry over. So you're the girl Red's been talkin' my ear off about for the last few months".

♡~ After talking for a few more minutes and making Katuski laugh, Kirishima tells you that that's pretty rare, he asks if "Red" had told you anything about his own rodeo career. "No! Kiri how could you not tell me anything?". Eijiro is blushing a dusty red across his nose, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Oh darlin' there's not really much to tell honestly, broke my collarbone in two places and thats pretty much all she wrote". "Ha! Like hell Red! Told me ya wanted to-" "Katsuki leave it" "wanted to what Eijiro?" You ask, Kiri blushing again with a heavy sigh. "He wanted to quit so he could work on having a family, family and the rodeo don't mix well, especially with the injuries" Katsuki explains taking another drink from his water bottle. "Well we gotta go Kat, be careful see ya later" Eijiro says quickly, taking your hand and practically dragging you away back out to the main area where the vendors are.

♡~ Kirishima apologizes if Katsuki made anything weird, smiling nervously and saying it really was for focusing on his animals and building up his ranch. The rodeo took all of his spare time and he didn't wanna live in a horse trailer forever. He seems surprised when you ask him what event he had been apart of to break his collarbone. "Bull Ridin'. It's a dangerous chance game and the minute I ate dirt I knew my time had run out," He explained as you both strolled through he vendors again on your way to the parking lot, "plus I liked taking care of the bottle babies more than ridin' the bulls anyway". "So the whole starting a family thing wasn't a factor for you?" You asked teasingly as his cheeks flamed again, his ruby eyes looking down to his boots as he gripped your hand a bit tighter. "Actually that part is true... Katsuki’s right, mixin' a family and the rodeo is no life to have. I wanted to enjoy my time while I had it instead of a big ass beast stepping on my neck or somethin some day".

♡~ Butterflies start swarming in his stomach when you tell you understand, you wouldn't want to put having a family in jeopardy either. "So... you want kids someday?" He asks, trying to be nonchalant as his hands sweat alittle. "Of course, not right now or anything but if I'm with the right guy I think I'd give him as many as he wanted". A soft, loving chuckle escapes him as you nudged his arm, happiness blooming in his heart as he looks down at you leaning against his truck, the sunset casting you both in vibrant orange light. "Well I guess your mr.right's gotta put a ring on your pretty finger first huh?". "Is that a proposal mr.right?" You ask with a smile. He shakes his head kissing the tip of your nose as he wraps his arms around you. "Not yet, I wanna give you everythin' in the world little lady, and a big fat diamond is first on my list"

What frustrates me about disability advocacy is that...of all the people I've seen talk about it, 99% of them - even ones who are disabled themselves - have eventually proven that their support has limits. Really stupid and arbitrary ones, at that.

You support disabled people...but if you see an adult with a DIAPER BULGE in their pants in public it's ON SIGHT, get your kink out of my face! Actually, even if it's not a kink, that's still gross and, like, it's not like the diaper exists to CONTAIN waste, you're a biohazard! Just stay home!

You support disabled people...but, ugh, you're so sick of masks, they feel so icky, the CDC isn't advising them anymore so really how bad can it be, if you don't want to be permanently disabled even worse than you already are then why don't you just stay home forever?

You support disabled people...but if you see anyone using a non-conventional straw that someone's billed as "anti-aging" on TikTok you proudly declare that you'll smack them, because what do you mean it might be a motor control or sensory thing?

You support disabled people...but no one is REALLY so disabled that they can't manage their lights conventionally, clean their homes by themselves, or hold a pen for extended periods of time or at all; that's just something people make up as an excuse for Bad Tech and exploitative luxury services.

You support disabled people...but, god, control your by-definition-uncontrollable tics, they're SOOOO annoying and rude!

You support disabled people...but when someone stops masking or runs out of spoons and starts speaking in a choppy, hard-to-understand way, it's a joke.

You support disabled people...but AAC is, like, sooooo annoying and hard to understand, learn to talk like a normal person instead of pointing like a baby or whatever, geez.

You support disabled people...but you hate image descriptions and video transcriptions because they're, like, sooooo ugly and transcriptions SPOIL things. (Not to be confused with "frequently not having the spoons to translate images and videos into text, which is a skill; one which everyone should try to develop, but a skill nonetheless" - I get that, it happens to me, but if you take issue with OTHER people adding them to your posts for Aesthetic Reasons, you're...kind of a dick! I'm not sorry for saying it!)

You support disabled people...but you think teehee funny joke annotations are a much more valuable use of caption tracks than, you know, actual captions are.

You support disabled people...but you still concern-troll people with armchair diagnoses of heavily stigmatized disorders for harmless weirdness, or try to paint them as icons of some kind of horrible social ill.

You support disabled people...but you're still convinced that every asshole is mentally ill, probably A Narcissist, and what do you mean that's a loaded thing to call someone when a heavily stigmatized disorder is rudely misnamed as such too, isn't it easier to, like, change the name of the disorder throughout the whole system than it is to just stop using that word as your go-to Bad Person Pathologizing Word, which you definitely need? (Or worse, you see no problem with this clash because you're convinced it IS Bad Person Disorder...)

You support disabled people...but you see someone mumbling to themself on the bus and you get as far away from them as possible because it's "scary".

You support disabled people...but you constantly try to pull "gotcha"s about people telling you not to touch people's assistive devices.

You support disabled people...but someone being okay with their delusional disorder and talking about that is BAD and PROMOTING SELF-HARM.

You support disabled people...but your body positivity still focuses exclusively on "people can be healthy and fat at the same time!" as if people who ARE fat because of health issues and/or have health issues BECAUSE of their weight don't exist or deserve support.

You support disabled people...but you declare that advocates who want us all to have more access to things that improve your quality of life are the REAL ableists for acknowledging that those things that you currently can't do tend to improve quality of life.

You support disabled people...but your advocacy for yourself involves distancing yourself from people with more support needs than you.

You support disabled people...but you treat addiction of any kind, or use of anything with known addictive tendencies, as a moral failing.

You support disabled people...until the accommodations they need clash with your own, then it's not just a benign incompatibility that sucks just as much for them as it does for you; no, you are an innocent victim and they are a horrible ableist.

You support disabled people...until it's too inconvenient. Too weird. Too scary. Once that line is crossed, it's not a disability issue anymore, they're, conveniently, just a Bad Person.

It's fucking exhausting and I'm sick to death of it.

RIDICULOUS. this was so big that even with tumblr's recently expanded image limit i still had to weld every other image together to fit it into one post, but if you want to see every image in its full glory, i made a page for it on my website (jankily hand-coded and probably not very mobile friendly).

I've seen a lot of posts (and reblogged/queued a few as you might've seen) abt the HP game recently which I'm assuming means it dropped? Anyway I don't want to put this in the tags of posts by jewish people as I don't want to add onto those even in tag form as a gentile and reblogging someone else's post that says to unfollow me if you support the game doesn't feel direct enough, so I'm making my own post for it:

Yes, pirating counts. I don't want you here. If you don't care about the safety of jewish people enough to do the bare minimum of not fucking playing this game then I'm begging you to reevaluate. If you still are into HP in the year 2023 then I don't know how to help you.

Hating nazis and terfs is not enough. You have to love transfem and jewish people more than you claim to hate their oppressors and that starts with shit like this. I've created a spreadsheet to show which character says the episode title phrase (i.e. the words which form the name of that particular episode) in every episode of Wolf 359. Hey everyone, since tumblr is dead set on running itself into the ground I have made 2 backups! One on Twitter (ew. I know.) and one on Bluesky.

Now, I have infinite lives, and I am excluded from leagues, which I found were getting in the way of learning in the way I wanted to.
