New Pagan/Hellenic Polytheist Small Business!

Hello everyone! I'm a Hellenic Polytheist in Washington - and I'd like to share my small shop - Earthbound Altars!

I offer a variety of stones and altar kits - both travel- and full-sized! My altar kits generally include vials of Barley, Lavender, and Olive oil, along with a wooden plate, 1-3 offering dishes, stones, dried flowers & herbs, incense and candles. I typically choose items related to Hellenic polytheism or ancient Greek practices, but I also make custom altar kits and general Pagan kits. Each kit includes information about each item and their use, as well as prayers and hymns.

I also make hand-poured and all-natural candles, soaps, and oil blends though they are not currently listed in my shop. I plan to list these in the future, but if they're of interest, let me know!

Therion charged out of the travelers’ hiding spot, drawing his dagger.

“Ah, it’s you. Aeber’s precious little thief.” Lyblac stared at him with distaste, drawing herself to her full height.

“What the hell are you going to do with Kit, you accursed-”

“Now, now. Settle down, child. I am not going to do anything. Galdera, however...” Lyblac laughed coldly, and Therion tensed. “You fucking-”

“You harlot!” H’aanit cried, appearing beside him. “Dost thou know what unleashing such a terror means? The god willen destroy everything, including thou!” “Isn’t the idea just wonderful? Don’t you all relish the terror that flows through your veins? Oh, I will delight in your fear once the true god rises! Now... Come, travelers. Let us test your true strength! Step into the Gate... if thou darest.”

Lyblac cackled with cruel mirth, disappearing behind the veil of soupy red smoke that obscured their views into the Gate.

Olberic was at their side in a moment, head bowed and Primrose hovering behind him, hand on his shoulder consolingly.

“We must defeat her. It is the only way to stop this madness and save Kit,” Ophilia said, stepping into the sunlight as it hung low in the sky.

Alfyn emerged, hand gripping the hilt of his axe so hard his knuckles were white. “Then we’d better hurry. The sooner we seal this gate, the sooner everything is back to normal.”

“Then in we go,” Therion resolved, stepping forward. The others fell into a familiar line, all in the order they befriended each other. Alfyn behind him, then Primrose, Tressa, and Olberic. Cyrus and Ophilia fell in line, and H’aanit brought up the rear, Linde ever at her side.

“Let’s go save Kit.”

The inside of the Gate was cavernous, with azure flames illuminating the dim hall. Therion investigated the altar-like structure in the center, while the others examined the flames. Ophilia touched one, and screamed as it roared, flames burning high and bright, forming a figure.

His shaggy hair flicked around his shoulders as though being blown around by wind, his fur-lined coat whipping around him, his staff’s flames spluttering but never going out.

“Mattias!?” Ophilia sounded on the verge of tears as Primrose, Tressa and H’aanit rushed to her side, weapons drawn.

Meanwhile, Alfyn had touched a flame of his own, and the form of Miguel stepped forward, spears drawn and scarlet eyes flashing. His tattered cape snapped behind him, and a cruel sneer curled his lip.

Alfyn stumbled back, hands tingling where blood had stained. His axe suddenly felt 10 times heavier as he seized it, trembling. “Little help over here!” He shouted, and Therion vaulted himself down the steps, dagger drawn. Olberic and Cyrus were there in a timely manner as well, tome and sword at the ready.

This was what Lyblac had meant by true strength. She hadn’t been talking about their physical strength...

But their emotional.

A heavy question hung in the air as battles waged, as the teams cleaved their ways through their respective fights.

Would they be able to handle whatever terrors were associated with that altar?

I know mini altars exist, but I’m thinking more about the khernips/libation situation since I obviously don’t want to pack up (or possibly break) my nice altar ware. Setting the mood. For MAGIC ✨

Dragons Blood, Cedar, White Sage, Palo Santo and Cauldrons

Im putting together travel altar kits, full of protective herbs. Did you know Cedar is traditionally burned for protection prior to rituals, while sage is typically saved for blessings.

My personal favorite is Peruvian Palo Santo, or Holy Wood. The oils from the wood considered sacred, and the wood only harvested after the tree has died a natural death and reconnected back with the Earth.

Forneus, the most devoted follower

Character description

This is a story post from the creator

In the past:

^ colours of the clothes are: white on the bottom, slightly translucent and the solid (here white) is actually red, resembling narinders clothes.

Forneus used to be a crown bearer of the red crown.

As a young cat, she was the most devoted follower of Narinder. She did try to do everything as told, but she also had a big heart and a lot of curiosity.

Her everyday prayers caught Narinders attention. She was perhaps 16 at the time, but more devoted than any other elder in the cult. (Back then the cult of the red crown was kept by another bearer who was not granted immortality).

She gained the crown shortly after confessing her loyalty to Narinder at the altar.

She was not a bearer for long. About 7 years after getting the crown, for some bizzare reason she fell pregnant. No one knew for sure who the father was, but the rumor arose that it was Narinder himself.

Narinder of course didn't have a clue either, as he only spoke to Forneus once when giving the crown. (yes only spoke)

Soon, knowing that if she died, the kids lives would be taken away, he took the crown away from her, yet granting her immortality.

After loosing her kits due to misterious circumstances and being unable to find them after many crusades, she fell into a depression, soon abandoning the cult and setting off to live alone.

Now she spends her days traveling to find her little kits and helping travellers find their way.

current day Forneus:

Due to her obesity that she gained from overeating when she was stressed for years, she lost a lot of her mobility.

This together with the stress of loosing her twins caused her to get heart problems.

Due to these circumstances she relies on her cart to move to places.

She is immortal as in she will never age. She still needs to eat and sleep and she can get sick or killed.

the match incense is the only thing I purchased specifically for this box, I already had everything else I needed. I’ve used this box since putting it together and the only things that do not fit in there are my tarot cards, dnd dice, workbook, and notes! and I will probably add a coin in there too. I'm quite happy with this set up! :)

Pill Bottle Uses

Being chronically ill and disabled, I've got a LOT of pill bottles. Like. A lot.

I've used them for fire starters for camping, mini sewing kits, portable pencil sharpener/shavings holders, other pills, travel lotions... and of course: witchcraft! Here's a few ideas and suggestions:

Spell jars (especially for healing spells)

Travel altars

Holding those teeny incense samples

River rocks

Sand, dirt, loam, etc

Powders you might make, like blessing, banishing, and protective powders

Various salts

Threads

Really anything you can put in there. Since they're relatively air- and watertight, they're great for things that you want to keep dry. They are also slightly protective from UV rays, which is good if you have something prone to sun damage, like certain crystals that you might want to take somewhere with you.

Westminster Abbey, view of high altar. This abbey is jam-packed FULL of graves and memorials of kings, queens, poets, scientists, and other VIPs. On the walls, under foot, in sarcophagus, in giant stone boxes, they’re everywhere!

Big Ben, Parliament.

Across from Westminster is Parliament. It was late in the day but that didn’t stop me from talking to the nice guard at the visitor entrance. “Sorry, we’re closed to visitors right now. But you could sit in the public gallery in the House of Commons”. Why, yes please!

I heard that British Kit Kats are way better than the American version. After the taste test, I agree 👍🏻 And the Digestives (British cookies but don’t they sound medicinal?) are for Nancy. They’re as good as I remember!

The accommodations at Vancouver Studios is stellar! It’s a micro room but has everything a traveler needs. There’s even a tiny kitchenette! The only thing lacking is AC, but the fan works just fine.
