People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

Galdino is the first one at Karai Barai's harbor when the black flag of Kid's pirates can be seen in the horizon. When their ship finally docks and the stairs are raised down, the artist is seen with his face glued in a little notebook, rambling as if he's training to say something.

When the Mink gets out, the artist walks steady steps toward her as the notebook is kept in the shirt's pocket. Galdino politely places hand over the chest as another one rises towards the young woman, in a greeting stance togerher with a softly bow. He cleans his throat.

" …..GArchU! Missy Linn." As then his stern eyes turn gradually into a nervous expression. Hoping to not have butchered the pronunciation he trained so much the past weeks.

As if they have a separate mind for themselves, fluffy ears twitch in delight as they notice the nostalgically familiar syllables of her tribe's greeting. Standing still in her tracks, stunned, eyes wide as if Linn was about to get hit by a truck, white hands fold over her lap before her head bows hesitatingly. He knew her mother tongue?

❝ Garchu...! You... I... I didn't know you were familiar with my tribe's language. How come you know our greeting, Galdino-teia? ❞ Already getting comfortable slipping into old habits before she decided to live a life as a pirate, Linn scratches her cheek while her head tilts in curiosity. It feels welcoming and odd to be able to just loosen up the tongue a bit. She missed it.

I understand that for a lot of people, Christianity is a religion they like to criticize and mock, but I feel like if you don’t even understand the fundamentals of the religion, why even attempt to critique it?
