This "Jon is a pacifist" Taylor tries to peddle out the character is so misguided & stupid that it's insulting to a lot of other pacifist heroes.

You know maybe I wouldn't hate DickBabs if it was written by Gail Simone. Maybe I wouldn't hate DickBabs if it was written from Barbara's perspective. Maybe I wouldn't hate DickBabs if it was written from Barbara's perspective and was written by a lady writer.

Stargirl: The Lost Children is the best thing to come out of The New Golden Age for several reasons, but first and foremost:
I’m a brown eyed Greta Hayes truther, but look at my girlllllllllll! She looks so good with that slight costume redesign, and I cant wait to actually see her talk and be a charcter for a second and a half in this comic.
Every time Iook at the second picture my mind tells me Greta has a headband for a second, and I wish that was true, because she’d be adorable with one.
Todd Nauck’s Greta also made an appearance on the Dark Crisis: Young Justice #6 variant cover (even if she was nowhere to be seen in the actual issue):
Stargirl: The Lost Children might be the first Geoff Johns comic I’ll willingly buy, even if just for the Todd Nauck art.

DC’s writers have been doing meta-commentary for so long, I’m afraid it reached the point where using Fifth-Dimensional Imps is no longer fun, because its really not that different from how they write regular characters speaking.

Y'all I cannot stress this enough, you need to be reading Tom Taylor's Nightwing right the FUCK NOW.
The issue was so damn good I'm still cackling over it. And it's not just a fluke, the whole damn SERIES is this good! I don't even care if you care about the character (I didn't!) or if you know literally anything at all about him: doesn't matter, read it anyway.
Gods, the scene where he comes out in that outfit and the other character is just "what the fuck are you wearing?" "Umm the clothes you told me to put on?" "What the hell, there was a whole dresser full of normal jeans and shirts, why did you pick that???" "...oh. This was the only stuff I saw. I can go change..." "No. Absolutely not. You're wearing that now, possibly forever. Thanks."
I just...he's on an actual pirate ship. This isn't an alternate dimension or timeline or anything like that, he's just hanging out in regular DC-continuity on a pirate ship. Dressed like that.
Dick Grayson, y'all. A national treasure.

Stuff IJ!Superman proceeds to do after this:
-Kills Lex Luthor
-Kills Shazam
-Threatens to blow up Metropolis & Gotham to "set an example"
-Threatens to invade another Earth
-Uses Brainiac's technology to brainwash people into following his dictatorship (Yeah Possible ending I know but it's there).
Yeah your words really touched him Jonboy. Fucking idiot.

everyone else on my dashboard and twitter timeline is ranting over that Jason-Roy interaction from today and meanwhile I'm sitting over here writing up a massive treatise on Dark Knights of Steel (aka one of the biggest missed opportunities of a book DC's ever published) but it's just sitting in my drafts because I can't string together my thoughts coherently enough to finish it 😭

oomfie talking about titans reminded me of what annoys me about current titans so bad and it’s that the entire premise is “we’re not the justice league but omg we have to live up to them :’(” like omg be so serious… it would be Okay if we weren’t more than 20 years into the new millennium

Forgive me for having my icon be from the TT run of Nightwing as I say this
However, I think I knew I wasn't going to be a big fan of that run as soon as I saw how Haley was being written
