I think one of my favorite things about Kate/Lucy's dynamic is actually the main thing driving their miscommunications - the simple fact that both of them, simultaneously, wholeheartedly, believe the other is *just* out of their league enough that they think their own feelings couldn't possibly be reciprocated (or at least not as quickly). That being said, in the long run, feeling like that toward a partner (that they're amazing and almost out of your league) but also knowing how much they love you and you love them? A recipe for a relationship that keeps that passion alive (fingers crossed that's the case *and* they show it).

Ooh I love this! I agree that they’re both just in awe of the other person. Lucy has expressed this multiple times, from “she’s embarrassed by me” early in the season to “you’ve seen her, what do you think?” (Both conversations with Ernie come to think of it lol) And Kate has expressed it, too, saying things like, “I wasn’t expecting /you/“ and “you’re the most amazing woman I’ve ever met.” 

I also really agree that this mutual sense of awe is at the root of their communication issues. Because if you’re in awe of someone, you’re putting them on a pedestal and making assumptions about who they are and what they believe (about you, about others, about the world) without ever talking to them. We saw Lucy very clearly do this in 1x09 (because like, why wouldn’t you ask your new gf questions about herself?? Why would you Google her instead??). And imo we also see it when Kate withheld information about Cara from Lucy instead of being honest with her. Anyway, I think these two have been working through their shit so I’m also keeping my fingers crossed for good communication in the next two episodes ! 🤞🤞🤞

But how the FUCK are we supposed to tell the difference when you are using the EXACT same phrase as countless people who DO want those things. People who DO hate Jews, who ARE supportive of organizations that want to commit violence, people who SUPPORT what happened on October 7th?

When people tell you "hey, this phrase means something else, it has ALWAYS come from those roots, and using it is NOT OKAY because it is STILL used as a rallying cry for violence against Israelis and Jews worldwide", the way to react? Is NOT to fucking double down and use it.

Because that? DOES make you an antisemite. And if I see you using that phrase? Then I MUST assume that at best, you do not know what it means and have SOMEHOW avoided the countless Jews and non-Jews I have seen talking about it, or at WORST you actively hate me and want me and every single one of my people dead.

Soulmate au wherein once you're claimed the mark of your soulmate appears as a tattoo on your body, it might be the same place as your soulmate, it might be different. If your soulmate is a mortal then only a letter 'M' appears.

Everyone is so worked up because Will never showed his mark, some of them speculated his soulmate is a mortal, some of them argued that it could be unrequited love like his soulmate might be Annabeth but she found her soulmate so he's destined to be alone. No one knows for sure, except for his sister Kayla.

The helm of darkness? Geez who could it be? The only child of Hades out there is Nico di Angelo. Will is 100% sure that the boy despise his guts, also he heard from Kayla that the boy already has a crush, and he's not sure if the concept applies on roman demigods, but didn't Hazel have a soulmate already?

Will never shows his mark, he felt devastated especially that the son of Hades is quite distanced.

Nico tries to operate between his pitiful crush on Percy, Jason who's urging him to let go and find himself another person, and his own mark.
